This will be the second time I brought my GLK 350 to this dealership for a quick repair. The first time was a nightmare and lasted 7 hours due to a lack of communication on the dealerships behalf. They never even apologized for my extended wait. They even gave me a hard time when I noticed a scuff on the running board that was made by a worker at the time. This time, I needed my headlight bulbs replaced. I called in and was told to bring it in and have it taken care of quickly. I arrive and NO ONE GREETED ME. I stood in the hall of the Service Reps are, and they all were too busy talking with eachother. I counted 6 men who never even acknowledged us. 3 of the 6 were in one office , laughing and joking with eachother. After awkwardly standing there a few minutes, I walked to the cashier and he told me to find a service Rep and they will be able to serve me. ( I SHOULDNT HAVE TO HUNT DOWN A REP ) But I did. I walked up to one rep and said excuse me explained my reason for arriving, needing a changed bulb. He told me to wait a few minutes and he will help me when he is finished with his emails. Ten minutes later, I saw Jermey Manchester getting into my car. I stopped him and wanted to fully explain what was going on, since NO ONE took time to actually ask me. He said he thought it was just a single bulb change, and now the price would double and take longer than originally thought. This dealership is conveinent in location for me, but I will now be making the drive to Palm Beach for future work to be done. Maybe there, I will be given undivided attention and some more respect.

My Sales Manager Ben Kendle was superb. Ben was helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I was extremely impressed with how fast they processed my transaction. I found my dream car on their website and processed my application online. Both sales and service personnel we met were very friendly, informative and helpful. At no time did we feel pressured. Our sales rep was John "Coach" Santonni. He went out of his way to locate the advertised car we came to look at and explained in detail its features including the hard top covertible. All through the process he answered evry question we raised. When we pointed out a couple of minor flaws we wanted corrected before taking the car, he set it up with the service department and arranged a day when we could bring the car back to have the work done. The service rep was Randy Simpatico. He was friendly and informative. One of the items to be correted was a mar in the leatherette material on the driver's seat. They arranged to put a new leatherette cover on the entire seat.I heartily recommend Mrecedes-Benz of Fort Pierce to anyone interested in a quality, professional, sales and service experience.

We were greeted by Ben Kendle who was friendly and most accommodating. We told him what we vehicle we were interested in seeing. He very kindly and patiently showed us the vehicles. After test driving, we decided on a particular vehicle. Ben, without being pushy, asked if we would like some figures as we were trading in a vehicle. Needless to say, the deal was one we could not pass up, so we became Mercedes Benz owners. We had to return to have a minor repair done, and Ben accompanied us to the service area, showed us everything, and when our vehicle was finished, he came in and got us and took us out to our car. A++++What an inredible car buying experience!!! Never once did we feel pressured or uncomfortable with Alan and his team. Sales associate Mark Katerba's professionality and honesty is superior as he listens to the customer needs rather than come up with a sales pitch. I went to Mercedes-Benz of Ft. Pierce looking for a convertible. Bruce Hendricks met me on the lot immediately. Very friendly and not pushy. He showed me what was available on the lot. He wrote down my wish list and offered for me to drive this little Lexus. I'm thinking, this is way too small, this guy is nuts! Well, he knew exactly what he was doing. I didn't go home with that Lexus and Bruce said he'd keep his eyes out for just the vehicle for me. 2 days later, I called Bruce and told him I wanted that Lexus. I went in to do paperwork after work and the whole team stayed late to make sure I drove my car home that night. Thank you all so much. Especially Bruce and Jerray! Bought a low-mileage used Buick Lucerne. Made the deal, including trade-in, on the phone. When I got there, the deal was as we agreed, the car was ready, and purchase was very easy and painless. Mark Katerba and Jim Bello were great to work with. My only complaint was the $599 "doc fee" that is nothing more than added profit. Also, they wanted to use a private company to transfer the title and get license plates for me (for an $85 fee), but their information was incorrect and the company couldn't do it without a Texas inspection of the vehicle. They finally agreed to refund the money and sent me the title with a refund check. Now I'm totally happy and would recommend them to anyone.

Messrs Kendle, Brooks, Reif, and Seth, were all wonderful, professional, accomodating and a pleasure to work with. They were all helpful.I love my car! I am still having problems with Mr. Plumb. Either he is the biggest b.s. artist or he does not know my correct address. When I had the " closing " with him he never explained the extended warranty to me--and I did not notice it. When I got home I realized that because of my age and since I do not drive that much , I did not need the extended warranty for $2,249. I called and left messages , but due to the holiday I did not get a return call from Mr Plumb. I finally got to Mr. Seth, who assured me this important item would be taken care of--and he put Mr. Plumb on the phone. Mr Plumb assured me that he would send me a form on Thursday 12/27/2012. I called him again on Jan .3,2013 and he again assured me the form went out on the 27th of December.. Today is Jan 5, 2013 and the form is still not here. This is a case of mail from Ft. Pierce to Boynton Beach in Florida.This is a case of a "bad apple " ruining the whole crate of apples.How can Coggings Mercedes Benz allow this to happen? Mr. Plumb says not to worry , but I am anxious to ger this matter resolved. Can anyone help me?

Well, I walked in not planning on buying a car, looking yes. The no pressure, laying it out as it is was very appealing to me and made things easier. I drove the car overnight, did some of my own research at home then came back to ask questions. Ben had them all. What ever he didn't know he immediately asked Dan and he HAD the answers. We did have to negotiate, but after we agreed on a price Jim Plum their Finance person helped me even more to achieve results in the car loan that would help my current health situation also. All in all I feel they cared and THAT is why I will go back (if possible) or refer others.

I walked into this dealership dreading the typical used car salesman scenario. i was fortunate enough that Mark Katerba was available and he immediately made me feel comfortable. i had found a used Audi for sale and was visiting from about two hours away and told Mark i couldnt stay very long. Without hesitation Mark asked me if i wanted to take the car for a test drive which i gladly accepted. the car had to be moved off the showroom floor which takes some skilled driving techniques. Mark never hesitated to make me happy and off we went. Mark was very honest with me telling me he didnt know too much about the vehicle, as he only sold Mercedes. We had a wonderful conversation during our drive and Mark never got pushy about making the sale. he really seemed interested in getting to know me and what i was looking for. when we returned i told him that i needed to get on the road but that i was interested in the car. he had an offer for me within a few minutes and i told him i would have to think about it. he didnt chase me out the door trying to make the sale. about a half hour later Mark called me in an effort to sweeten the deal. again he was not pushy in any way and i actually felt like he wanted to go to bat for me, he wanted to make me happy and wasnt concerned about his end of the deal. long story short i got a phenominal deal from Dan Reif that i could not pass up. i drove over two hours back to the dealership and made the deal work. while waiting for all the paperwork to be prepared Mark stayed with me the entire time and we talked for almost two hours. and none of it was about the deal other than to compliment me on what a great car i had purchased. this dealership deserves the highest praise and should be the model for all dealershps to follow. i cant believe how rude car salesman can be especially when they count on guys like me to buy cars from them to make a living. i honestly feel like i made a new friend in Mark and i was sad to leave the dealership because i really enjoyed his company. Bravo to you Mark, you are truly top notch and i wish you much success in business. Go to this dealership and ask for Mark Katerba!

I am a supervisor for a Customer Service call center and is fully aware of what quality customer service is all about. I was shopping for a car and stopped at Mercedes Benz of Fort Pierce to look at a car that was parked outside. Mark walked out,greeted us and offered his assistance. He explained the features of the car and we decided that we wanted to compare other cars so would not make an immediate decision to purchase that car. Mark was calm, respectful and not very pushy, knowing the reputation of car salemen. We told him we would like to explore other options before we can make a decision. He explained to us that there were some other dealers down the street that were all owned by Mercedes Benz. We left, shopped around, experience the well known trademark of the car salesmen (rude and disrespectful)and we decided that we would go back to Mark because of his attitude towards us.We went back to Mercedes Benz and told Mark that we saw a car that we were interested in but it was located at one of the sister company. Mark immediately went with us to the other company took us for a test drive in two cars and also back to his place and test drive the first car we had stopped to look at. After we test drive the car we had immediately made a decision but instead told Mark that we would like to think about it and come back the following day. He never doubted us, never tried to force us to make a decision, he gave us time and made an appointment for the following day. The next day we walked in to his office, he worked with us to get the price that we offered and took us to finance. In finance, Jim was superb, he is very friendly and worked to get us the best finance rate he possibly could get. I could go on and on about this dealership and the excellent customer service. I will always recommend anyone to do business with this dealership and to make sure they asked for Mark Katerba. Way to go Mark.

Periodic service of my vehicle disclosed a brake light failure. Upon replacement of the cabin brake light bulb, the housing cover was broken. Returned to dealer for the courtsey (NO CHARGE) installation and was billed $29.50 for the part that they broke. While driving home a police officer informed me that the rear exterior brake light was not working. Also, the stereo reception became non-existent for the first time ever, immediately after I left this dealership. I indicated to my service adviser that I did not want the courtsey car wash. Thisdirective was disregarded and the service was billed to " service department as goodwill ". I suspect that excessive vaccuming could have dislodged the stereo reception wire. This narrative is an account of my second unpleasant experience at this establishment.

I'm in charge of public relations for a very large, well-known, international company; which, simply qualifies me as an expert on how people should be treated in general, much less in a business atmosphere. I called the dealership concerning a vehicle I was interested in possibly purchasing; mind you, this dealership is 3.5 hours from my home so you know the pictures of the car and vehicle history report looked really clean, almost too good to be true. Nevertheless, I prepared myself for the agony of working with the typical car salesman. I was connected to a gentleman by the name of Mark Katerba. Much to my surprise and delight - wait for it - there were no games. I explained to Mr. Katerba what I wanted and what I was willing to pay (and yes, I was within reason) and he made it happen. I must admit that even with things going so well at that point, I remained concerned with the not-so-small issue of 7 hours of total drive time for a vehicle I hadn't test driven. Once again, Mr. Katerba assured me he wouldn't let me drive that far for a vehicle that wasn't in top-condition. The car was in amazing shape and the transition out of my car into the new one, including the time spent with the gentleman in finance if you can believe that, was pleasant and easy.I have already and will continue to recommend this dealership to friends, colleagues and family. I will certainly buy from them again.

When my wife and I were looking for 2 Mercedes-Benz cars to purchase, we made a call to Jim Pescatore from Coggin BMW. Jim was extremely knowledegable, friendly and quick in his responses. He was able to obtain the cars with the specs that we asked for. We settled on the prices even without going to the dealership. When we went to get delivery of the cars, it took not more than 2 hours to complete the paperwork, and after going over some features of the car, we were on our way driving our new Mercedes-Benz cars. This is the way car-buying should be!Don't bother haggling prices with other dealers. Jim will cut right to the chase and give you a price which cannot be beaten by anyone - Period. Whether you are shopping for a new BMW or a Mercedes-Benz, I would recommend that you call him.

Found car on the internet. The web site is good, with several pictures of the car and an option to show a high resolution version of each picture. Makes it easier to check the general state of the car without before deciding if it's worth the time to get to the dealer. The regular, smaller pictures usually available in other web sites wouldn't convince me to drive over an hour to check the car out in person.After looking at the detailed pictures, emailed the internet sales manager (Bill Murray) to arrange test drive. Bill replied quickly, confirmed the car was available and referred me to Paul. On the arranged day and time, arrived at the dealer, met Paul, which was very courteous and helpful.After the test drive, sat down with Paul to negotiate price. The process was quick and relatively painless. As any other car purchase, there is a round of give-and-take from all parties. Paul was not pushy throughout the process. In the end we agreed on a fair market price for the car and closed the deal.Counting from the time I arrived at the dealer, it took two just over two hours to get everything sorted out, including the test drive, agreeing on a price and getting the paperwork done. From previous experiences in other places, I thought it was pretty good time.

Buying or leasing a new car is one of the most stressful experiences I have ever had and Florida is the worst state for sharks in this field. I cannot say too much about what a 360 experience it was from the local Lexus Dealership to Mercedes. I had done a lot of research on all of the cross over SUV's and had narrowed my search to the Lexus, the Mercedes and the Murrano. The Lexus people drove me (and my husband) crazy for 3 hours and hounded us with unwanted phone calls. They quoted an Internet price for what I asked for and then did not have the car or the price.I had called my Service person, Chris Kafka, and let him know I was on my way to look at the GLK. Chris was going to refer me to someone he trusted and let me know that I would be taken care of graciously. When we arrived at the dealership there was a man standing outside -- and I thought, Oh no -- here we go again. Boy was I surprised! As I approached him I said I was here to see "Geroge" and this lovely gentleman addressed me by name and said that George was not in today and that Chris had called to let him know I was coming down and please take care of m e. He did just that.By the time we left, I had ordered my GLK, just the way I wanted it to be delivered in late May. Mission accomplished, or so I thought.....Less than a week later and just two days before my children were coming to Orlando for a week's vacation, my current Mercedes sstarted to give me some trouble and I was not confident that it would be reliable for 4 trips to Orlando over the vacation week. I called Dan and asked him what kind of deal he could work out for me on the car that I had drived and that I needed it the next day. Dan was amazing and the back-office staff was too. He worked out a leasing finance deal that was a compromise for me and the dealerwhip, and we rolled in the scheduled maintenance and they did this in a calm, experienced, gracious manner with no pressure, no fuss and fabulous customer service and care. Dan is a 10 in my book. Chris Kafka is a 10 in my book and I wold recommend them to anyone wanting to purchase or lease a car or for ollow care and service. I cannot say enough about these two men. Whatever people say that is negative about Mercedes, they have never experienced the higher level of service and care that all Mercedes dealers exhibit. I flew from NC to buy a used SL500, sfter seeing it on ebay AND talking with differant people at the dealership. When I arrived they had obviously not checked the car over very well as several items needed addressing for it to be in the condition I was told it was when I spoke with them. They did fix the items BUT it was frustrating and caused me to spend extra time before I could leave to drive home.Another BIGGER issue is the amount of time it took to get the title. I purchased the car on 11/16/10 and did not receive the title until 1/6/11, 51 days later, AFTER I sent several progressively stronger emails. Looks like they never paid off the lean from the previous owner until end of Dec, yet they had my money on 11/16.All in all NOT the kind of service I have received AND expect from a Mercedes dealer.

If I knew where my second key was I would of rated the dealer higher. I have asked repeatedly and have never received a solid answer. I have even called so maybe this will get results. Other then that my experience was great.I found a sweet car and there was a big problem and Dan took care of it ASAP.I was provided a nice car to use while my top was replaced and overall I will look to this dealership in the future for my needs in the car department.

She is amazing - professional, knowledgeable and very, very nice. She gave us a very fair price by phone and we drove 80 miles (past 4 other Mercedes dealers) due to that phone call. The car is perfect and the sale was fast, easy and stress-free. Brendan O'Brien, the finance director was wonderful as well!! This is the way to buy a car!PS If you prefer, they will deliver the car to you all over South Florida Thank you DealerRater! On November 14 2010 I flew from Georgia to buy a preowned '06 Audi A6. Per internet sales manager Ryan Erdle vehicle was in excellent condition, clean carfax - no accidents,outside of the vehicle in perfect condition , only 2 small blemishes were 2 buttons that were peelling. Have pictures of the vehicle + Ryan had sent me a written E-Mail stating the condition of the vehicle " as I promised this is an excellent vehicle and is in really great condition you will not be disappointed!"Got an Purchase Agreement E-Mail-ed, sent them credit card authorization signed for deposit.Talked to Ryan several times asking him to honestly describe vehicle conditionbefore i could make decision about vehicle purchase. Per Ryan everything was great - explained him that I'd be coming from Georgia and if the car was not what he had told it was I wouldn't be getting it but Ryan promised perfection.So I flew down to Ft. Pierce and what an unpleasant surprise!!!! The car was still in shop beeing detailed, when they brought it out we started looking at the car.WOWIt didn't take more than 2 minutes to see that the vehicle has been in some kind of accident, had dents behind the rear pass.door, front right fender was damage was very unprofessionaly repaired ..... stock # 6N119883T , VIN: WAUAH74F16N119883 the carfax states no accidents but Ryan as well as Mr. Tosh Pence knew that the car waspreviouslydamaged and repaired,painted ( as they stated later it was wrinkled/creased ).Was promised to get at least my travel expenses reimbursed -signed and dated by Mr. Tosh Pence(sales manager)- now they don't even want to answer the phone. Recently I purchased a 2008 Mercedes E Class automobile and my decision was complicated my by need to visit many dealerships and test drive 10 or more similar vehicles by various manufacturers. Having accomplished all the test drives , my choice was easy. I chose the Mercedes Dealership in Fort Pierce Florida, This dealership should be used as the model example as to how to properly interact with a customer. WOW, what a great experience ! Not only were the sales personnel knowledgeable and straight forward with explaining each vehicles key features and performance characteristics, I was also in the presence of a caring staff of employees. They really wanted me to get just the right automobile, and they took the time necessary to answer all my questions completely and then continued to be just as friendly and caring after I purchased the automobile.All together I probably met and interacted with 10 people or more at this dealership. Smiles were all around and I did watch them interact with other customers as well. So, I know it just was not my magnetic personally or my bank account that created the environment. Specially, I would like to commend Michele MacKinnon ( sales ) and Jim ( Finance ), and all the others, who were so helpful. OK, you might ask, how is the vehicle I purchased. Coggin has a great reputation to begin with. This was the reason that my husband and I decided to go to this dealership in the 1st place. Ms. Longo was our Executive Sales Associate and from the moment we walked in was so professional and courteous. She made sure that she knew exactly what we were looking for, and once that was done, it was smooth sailing after that. We are THRILLED with our new car; and can say that we feel like family at Coggins. Everyone is wonderful!!

I found a used 2008 CLK on a website. Since we live 100 miles from the dealership we called Ryan to find out about the car, he was great and offered to take it off the market until we arrived the next morning for an inspection. When we arrived the car was in perfect condition. What really impressed us was when we were offered a demo ride, all of the other salesmen assisted Ryan in moving the car from the showroom. It's so nice to see salesmen working as a team!The price negotiations went well with Dan stepping in to close the deal to our satisfaction. Jim took over on the financing and he was fair, non-pushy and professional. The car was taken to service to be inspected again, decals removed, etc. When they brought it around it was in perfect and ready to go. I thought my first stop would be to a gas station but they even filled the gas tank.This is my first experience with Coggin and Mercedes but I was highly impressed and definately recommend Ryan, Dan and Jim as good guys to deal with. What a pleasant experience.

I brought my car, (SL500), in for service and tire balance. The car was in great shape and the tire balance was only slighly off. A minor vibration at highway speed. Here is where I made my mistake: After the service, I had the car delivered, which I though was a very nice feature. However I had spent over $2600 on various services, some of which were probably not really necessary, but that's another story.I was leaving on a 150 mile trip the following day. Once I was on the highway, the vibrations from the tires was 1000% worse than when I brought the car in. All I could say was the vibration could rattle your teeth out. I called Bob Landrigan the service rep from my cell and told him my problem. All he could say was how great their service tech was and how 2 different reps drove the car and it was fine. Later on I found out they drove it on the street right outside the dealership at maybe 45 MPH where it was fine. They never tested it at highway speed.I brought the car back after the trip to give them another chance. They said I needed new tires. (The tires were new and had perhaps 500 miles on them.)The car still wasn't right,and I was done with their "we're perfect attitude" so I brought it to a Tire Kingdom. When the manager looked at the wheels, he immediately said "who balanced these tires?" with a very confused look on his face. When I told him Mercedes Benz, he couldn't believe it.Apparently there were tire weights in various places all over the rim in huge amounts. After Tire Kingdom did their balancing, I spoke with the tech who did the work.He also asked me who balanced the tires because they were all done so badly and incorectly. He was also amazed at the way it had been done by Fort Pierce Mercedes Benz. Tire Kingdom fixed the problem and it is now as it should be... smooth at highway speed.Bottom line is that the car drives 100% now and I will NEVER go back to Fort Pierce Mercedes Benz.I think they were trying to get a tire purchase out of me and their tire tech does not know his job.Not impressed at all and they could care less. Needless to say,I'll never deal with Fort Pierce Mercedes Benz and I'll bet I never get one of those little cards that askes for a rating in the mail.

Our confidence in Mercedez-Benz of Fort Pierce was so high that when it became time to purchase another car, we tunred immediately to Coggin.We first met Dawn Walker-Brown at the PGA Patriots Day Golf Tournament where Dawn was representing Mercedes-Benz of Fort Pierce as a corporate sponsor of the event. She introduced herself, we chatted briefly, she gave us her business card and invited us to give her a call. We did so. Thoughout the buying process, Dawn was professional,courteous, thorough, efficient, patient, informative, pleasant, polite and effective. She provided excellent service and it was a delight to work with her. She smoothed out all of the usual stress and anxiety surrounding the purchase of a new automobile. We could not have been more pleased with her service and attentiveness. Dawn introduced us to the General Manager, Jerry Clark and we worked with Business Manager, Daphne, to complete out paperwork. Everything went amazingly well and everyone with whom we had contact was pleasant, professional and efficient. Went to look for a Mercedes Benz E320 Bluetech (diesel) for a better and far more comfortable ride than my previous 2004 Toyota Prius. What a difference in ride, made my Prius feel like a crack rental.My sales person Dawn was very helpful and patient with my questions and concerns. I purchased the E320 and to date, I'm very pleased with the fuel economy getting as high as 42 mpg average, driving the entire length of the Florida Keys. At a later date I returned to check out some other vehicles, Dawn allowed me to test ride a minimum of 6 other vehicles taking the time with me and once again answering my questions and concerns.The service department has been friendly and answered question I had about my new purchase. To date I haven't put enough mileage on my car for service, this will change in a few months. Also The dealership went out of their way to get me an updated and latest GPS disc to replace the older one that was accidently installed prior to my purchase at no additional charge. To me that shows a great attitude towards "good will". This won't be forgotten by this customer.

I have finally had it with Coggin Mercedes Benz in Fort Pierce FL.After my last visit to the dealer to repair items they broke on the previous visit to there dealership. (Broke the Dashboard and cluster this time)I reviewed my entire service history of my car with them and found a disturbing pattern. On every visit to the shop they have broken or damaged some part of my car or trim parts falling off in the service drive when picking up the car, Cut on center console, no headlights after bad coding a few times, broken ashtray, seat back, shifter bezel, hand brake lever cover and the list goes on and on. Its about 2 inch this service record.Every service visit required a return trip to fix something else that they removed, reprogrammed or touched. Was kind of forced into returning to the same dealer, most dealers will not fix other dealers **** ups.This went on even after having a meeting with Todd Seth (Coggin VP) and The service manager. You would think that after that when I picked up my SLK55 and opened the passenger door for my wife in the service isle that it would open, but no such luck. The sills were not installed correctly on either side and there were a few inches of leaves in my trunk.It seems that every service visit lead to more broken broken partsAnd after careful review of all service records it seems that they charged all work to Mercedes Benz under warranty. now my car has been flagged as a #8 (what ever that means. found out that by going to a dealership not owned by the same company). It seem that when I bring my car to the shop it needs to be inspected by a MB warranty rep. (do you think that will kill the resale value?) because of the extensive warranty service history.I even checked around with a test trade-in for a new car only to find that once they put my vin into the computer they either do not want it or offer my mid 30's for it (very hard hit for a 06 that listed for 71k)Most issues (broken interior parts) started after they install the Ipod and has not ended. The 3 issues that the car actually has have ever been fixed in over 15 trips to the dealer and over 30++ shop daysI have the proof, and I also have copies of the customer work order with the original complaints, my copy from when I dropped off car stated console damaged after Ipod install from a pry bar that gouged it,Work order when I picked up the car stated that customer complained that the console would not open, they found bad latch.Ashtray broken, states found that it was non functional when servicing car, in reality they had the command out. I know it worked because when I dropped it off I took the lighter element out of it when I took the radar detector from the car, this is the same visit that they broke my dashboard and cluster. the door sills were not attached and I had the service manager go for a test drive before I left and noted the loud rattle comming from behind the cluster and that it was not there when I dropped the car off

Went to pick up wifes car after painting. Drove 20 miles go get there. After looking at paint found blmishes in it. Of course they could not see it at first. Got all kinds of attitude from the paint shop manager and workers. I don't know why people lie but they do. Anyway will pick car up in an hour. Not looking forward to it. Will see how it looks.This is about the body shop only!Well, It looks like something happened while I was gone (forgot to say my wife called and talked to the General Manager so they gave me a car to drive so I could go back to work instead of waiting). When I got back later everything was different. So I raised their points some. Still does not excuse how I was treated the first time But it helped.Still have overspray on the Z3.
