My experience with MBKC is typically professional, courteous and I always feel like I've spent money for quality performed work. But what I'm about to describe was far from professional, polite, courteous, helpful, understanding or any concern shown for my well-being. I was then approached by Johnny Kartsonis at approximately 12:15, after already being told by someone else that they would get someone to help me. He was Super unpleasant, very confrontational with this initial question (the first words out of his mouth were - "Is there something I can help you with, were closed?", Not hi how are you, are you being helped, are you having a good Saturday.. Nothing warm or welcoming or even polite. Because of the rudeness, I responded, no I'm being taken care of already (assuming the porter guy was working directly with a tech on my minor issue). Johnny then responded - "Well what is it your needing?" not, Oh I can help you, Or hello my name is .., let me see if I can help you No he was just plain rude. I then re-explained my scenario. He boldly said, Well we're not going to be able to help you, we close at noon. You should have gotten here sooner. We have lives. I have to pick up my Mother. And on and on and on. Finally I interrupted him and said, listen, I had these tires installed here on Wednesday, and I want someone to look at it and make it right. (A little direct, but I am the customer and I am a customer now dealing with a confrontational, chip on his shoulder, unkind, less than polite, etc.) I said, be reasonable, put yourself in my shoes, I'm the customer, you guys just performed the work on Wednesday. You're not going to make it right? He then said, I can do it on Monday morning, but I have my mother to pick up.In the end, such a horrible customer service experience. That BOY is in need of some service training on how to deal with customers.

I drove 10+ hours to purchase a specific pre-owned vehicle from MB of KC. I had no prior experience with this dealership. The place is immaculate and most of the staff made you feel at home......but that is the expectation of a MB dealership and they met the expectation hands down. However the story does not end there......it is where they exceeded my expectations that I was most floored. I had an issue with my trade that I chose to disclose because it was the right thing to do and after discussing the details with the appropriate parties, they left their offer in place. I dealt primarily with Randy; Ralph; Steve; and Melinda. The entire experience was well worth the effort to get there.

BUYER BEWARE! Waited my whole life to buy a new Mercedes only to be accused of being an exporter, I had no Idea what on earth they were talking about!!! The sales mgr kirk wilms...the most ignorant, arrogant, and rudest human being I ever come across in my 56 years on this planet!!! Why would such a high end brand have this person represent them is shocking!!!! With all the dealers out there to choose from I would highly recommend avoiding this one like the plague!!!! Phenomenal Service! As a full time RVer, we were in the KC area and had the DEF indicator and engine light come on. I made a call and Jeff Gray was VERY helpful in getting our 2014 MB Sprinter Roadtrek CS Adventurous into the shop that afternoon. The team quickly identified the problem and had it FIXED before 5:30pm to have us on our way! GREAT SERVICE, Great People! So glad MB-KC is here! We'll be back to get service again! Your Team ROCKS!

Promise everything and deliver nothing. Told them a week after buying 2015 Sprinter 170 it needed to be aligned. They minimized it and basically said I didn't know what I was talking about and should just wait, it will get better. Took Sprinter in for recall breakdown. When I went to pick it up after the repair, the oil sprayed underneath vehicle from the breakdown was still dripping from under my vehicle. Again told them the vehicle was out of alignment. They told me it was how I loaded the Sprinter and not the alignment. When my tires started to wear inside and outside on opposite sides, I AGAIN told them it was out of alignment. New service guy said, "hum, it's out of alignment and your tires with 15,000 highway miles are in pretty bad shape and probably can't be rotated", They agreed to align it, but then told me the vehicle I'd just bought a their dealership a few months earlier can't be aligned at their dealership, but they would rotate the bad tires to the back and it might help. NOT. So I have to take the vehicle to another service location miles away to get the work done. Then they tell me Mercedes won't pay for an alignment since my 12,000 "warranty" mileage has been exceeded. The cost is on me. Of course, they have no record of my complaints about the alignment one week after I bought the vehicle or the two other prior reports. Not impressed with Mercedes or KC dealership,

Purchased the car on Sept. 19th. I have both positive and negative experiences. I was told the auto had Bluetooth for a phone: it did not have. J.K. stated it was not Julie's fault as she had been told by more than one person that it had Bluetooth. J.K. was very understanding on this and arranged to have Bluetooth installed by an outside vendor and it works great. I advised Julie on or about 9/21 that the car had not floor mats; she thought they were in the trunk; (they were not). A month later and I still do not have the floor mats. I advised J.K. that the car did not have the wind deflector and he provided me with one. When I had the car in for the in for the installation of the Bluetooth; I had also advised J.K. that there was squeaking under the hood for about the first 5 minutes of driving. I assumed that this had been repaired, but it still makes the same noise; if not worse. At the same time; I also advised J.K. about the bubbling on the interior of the windshield. Upon advising me that the windshield was 99% better; I would have to disagree. While is not as bad, I can still see the bubbling on the windshield in direct sunlight. I do not understand the reluctance in replacing the windshield as they stated that it had a new windshield. If that is the case; isn't the windshield covered under a warranty from M-B or whoever the supplier was? I also advised J.K. about the hole in the grill work on the right (passenger) side by the lower (foglight?) light. That is clearly unacceptable for a Certified Pre-Owned Car. Item 155 on the worksheet is the Grill with the remark that the grill passed. The grill did not pass. I expect J.K. to have a new grill part ordered and advise me on this. I asked J.K. about on more than one occasion and never did get a direct answer. Answers like "its a 2009 auto with 47,000 miles doesn't fly, if your selling it as a Certified Pre-Owned auto and my paying a premium for it. I have also found that in installing a license plate that the upper right screw of the plate holder has been 'violated'. An attempt to insert a screw with the wrong threads had been done and in so doing tore the internal nut from the wall of the exterior and the screw remains in the internal nut and the license plate has to be installed over it. Again; its a 2009 auto with 47, 000 miles on it does not fly as it was sold as a Certified Pre-Owned Auto! I have answered that I would recommend this dealership; but if the above items are not corrected; I will certainly change that from a yes to a no.

An excellent experience. We were in the market to buy a new car. We priced the Mercedes Benz CLS550 and found this particular dealership to be very competitive. We would not have gone as far except Whitney was very aggressive in following up with us. We worked with Jessie Little who was very easy to deal with and provided a very positive sales experience. We did not have to play games. They were very professional and listened to our every concern. Exceptional customer service... and to us that means everything.

Worst car buying experience I've ever had! Bought a used car from them. They scratched the paint off the rear bumper removing the prior dealer's emblem. I insisted they repaint the bumper. In doing so, they messed up the car emblem on the car. I had to wait a week for them to get a replacement and when they were putting it on the car, they messed up the paint AGAIN. It's been over a month since I bought the car and I'm still waiting for them to paint the bumper and replace the emblems. They caused all the damage themselves and apparently are too inept to fix it. To add insult to injury, when I went to the DMV to pay my sales tax and transfer my plates, the dealership had not given me all the necessary papers to do so. I waited in line for an hour for nothing and had to go back a second time. At this point, I just wish I had my old car back. I highly recommend buying elsewhere.

I purchased a used car from this dealership. When removing the prior dealer's emblem, they scratched the paint on the rear bumper. I insisted they repaint it. I expect a Mercedes dealership to treat me well, given the price of the vehicle and associated maintenance. That being said, MB-KC and especially Fernando Ricci have given service well above and beyond my expectations. From the sales experience (no pressure, just help) through maintenance (while expensive, it is reliable and well done), this is an outstanding dealership. I bought my 16 year old daughter a 2007 Mini Cooper that quite frankly was really " Like New " after 6 weeks of looking at warmed over cars with 100,000 miles for $8,000 - $10,000 .... It would never have dawned on me to look at a Mercedes Dealership for a affordable used Car - Luck for me, I found the Car on Cars.com - a Loaded 2007 Mini Cooper with 66k mi - after searching dealership after dealership I was skeptical that a Car of this Caliber could be bought for $12,400 - I contacted Whitney by e mail - within an hour the Manager had called me -and I took a leap of faith and bought it sight unseen - When we picked the Car up the following Day - I was told it was Nice - but this Car was Like New - not a ding - Sitting on 4 brand new tires - seats looked as if they had never been sat in - I had seen so many at Best average Cars that Dealers wanted High Retail Prices on with 80K - 100K miles - It was hard to believe - Richie Sexton was my Sales Person - You could not ask for a Nicer Person - We only bought a $12,400 Car - But we were treated as if we had bought a $75,000 New Mercedes - The Car is Perfect - Zero issues .... I will start my next search with Mercedes of Kansas City - I doubt you can buy a Nicer Vehicle - Priced as well & I know you can not do so with the Delivery Experience - Whitney Buehler was our Internet Connection - Greeted us at the Store - Thanked us when we left and has followed up with us to make sure we were happy - When was the last time someone sold you a used car & called you back to see if it was okay ? Great Experience !

Julie Langdon was the reason we purchased a vehicle from MB-KC. We first met Julie several months ago, but the dealer did not have the vehicle we were wanted. Later, we found the vehicle that we wanted at the other KC area Mercedes dealer, but we found the sales staff at the other dealer to be both arrogant and indifferent. So, we returned to see Julie and she eventually found a vehicle that worked for us and helped get the price to a reasonable level. She was pleasant, funny, and no high pressure - her sales manager was also helpful and friendly. Bottom line, the people at this dealership seemed to care if we were happy and were willing to deal as compared to the Kansas dealer who's attitude was "we have the product you want, so we don't have to treat you well." If our vehicle performs well, we will by our next one from Julie, too.

Having originally spotted my future purchase on cars.com, I did go over and test drive the vehicle merely as a next step in my purchase process to see if I would even like the vehicle or fit. Well, needless to say, that was all she wrote. Julie, the sales rep, was extremely pleasant to work with and was very accommodating in her pursuit of the sale. Very low pressure yet encouraging. Even the Finance Manager, in completion of the paperwork was low pressure on service contracts and so-forth, but was also very informative and accommodating. Purchased a pre-pay service contract and intend to consider these folks first for any future purchases. Thanks MBZ of KC!

My experience with the purchase began through the USAA Car Buying Service. Ralph Schweer contacted me by phone less than an hour after I completed USAA's online vehicle selection and pricing process. Ralph attempted to find an available vehicle that met my criteria but one was not available. I then met with Ralph and did a test drive of a vehicle similar to what I wanted. He told me that the dealership had a manufacturing slot available in early in January and by using it I could get whatever I wanted. I accepted that offer and now have the new car exactly as I specified and it was delivered a couple of days earlier than the date he originally estimated last November. Ralph kept me very well informed of the status of the car throughout the building, shipping, and delivery process. I met with Julie and Fernando when I took delivery of the car. Julie thoroughly described the features and how the dealership's service process works and Fernando prepared the paperwork and described various post-delivery maintenance options available. Overall, all three employees were very friendly, courteous, knowledgable, and helpful. There was never any pressure to buy or add anything that I didn't want and all aspects of the process were totally clear. The performance of each of the three exceeded my expectations and compared to the numerous other new cars I've purchased from other dealers in several states, they are absolutely the best. My overall experience was superb.

I found the car I was looking for with a search on cars.com. I contacted the sales person, he was very helpful and recommended getting a pre-approval to save time on our visit to the dealership, which was 2 1/2 hours away. On the day we went to pick up the car he was not there (Christmas weekend), but were greeted by his co-worker who was expecting us and new us by name. The whole process was painless and getting the pre-approval saved us probably an hour wait at the dealership. Overall a great experience.

I talked with Ralph over the phone and he set everything in place, including recommending to get a "pre-approval" to eliminate some of the wait on the day we went to pick up the car. This was great, the car was all ready and having the pre-approval cut about an hour wait at the dealership the day we signed the paperwork and picked up the car. Ritchie filled in for Ralph the day we went to the dealership due to the holidays and helped us finish off the deal without missing a beat.

I purchased the Pro Pack for my newly purchaed vehicle. When I brought my vehicle in for the Pro Pack, I was offered a loaner car. My Pro Pack offer stated that I was to receive one "free" rental car for the first Pro Pack installation. My "free" loaner car cost me over $47. I drove the loaner car less than 15 miles but I had to rent it for 1 1/2 days, which is how long the Service Department kept my vehicle to intall the Pro Pack. On the second day, I waited all day for a telephone call to say that my vehicle was ready. Finally, about 4:15 pm, I called to see if the vehicle was ready. I had left 2 telephone numbers, where I could be reached, but no one called to tell me the vehicle was ready. When I brought in my vehicle, I showed the Service Tech the ding in the vehicle's body that the salesman and I had noticed when the vehicle was sitting on the dealership's lot. The Service Tech noted the ding and said it would be repaired.When I picked up my vehicle, the ding was not even touched. I informed the Service department that this ding was not fixed. They said they would call me when the Dentless Removal person was available. I have yet to receive that telephone call informing me about the Dentless Removal person's schedule. I have learned my lesson about "loaner" cars from this dealership. Even though I will need to take off work for another Service Visit to have the ding removed, I will never use a "loaner" car from this dealership again. The salesman, Fernando, was great and I appreciated working with him. I only had issues with the Service Department.

Fernando was my salesperson and he was excellent. I did not have a very good experience on my first purchase there and thought I would never be back. Fernando personally changed my outlook about this dealership. He was quick, direct and personable. He is our new sales guy! We have purchased 3 new vehicles in less than 2 years and most likely will continue to purchase from this dealership. Dave Sherman is the best. The finance part of the deal can be dreadful and he made the exchange pleasant and quick. No over the top pressure, explained all of the options thoroughly and respected our time. In all of the years of purchasing cars, this was the best experience from beginning to end. I am so glad I gave this dealership another chance. I will now refer friends to this dealership specifically to Fernando. At the end of the day, I purchased the "exact car" I wanted and I love it! Thanks Fernando and Dave.

Jesse has been short and patronizing to me since the day I went into the dealership for the first time. It has not been a pleasent experience. It has been 2 weeks since I got the car and the paperwork is not done yet. I live in Columbia so I have a drive that I will need to do to do that and by doing that I have to wait to get the second key to the car I was promised.

What impressed me about the experience is that the car I purchased, which was beautiful, had some things wrong with it that the dealer did not expect when they took it in on trade. The mechanics had identified several items, some hidden to a potential buyer to fix, and the results would normally have sent the car out to auction. Because I was in love with this car, they performed 2 miracles. 1) They repaired everything on the vehicle they found wrong in addition to the additional items I noted. 2) They were able to work with the banks and using my good credit to get a phenominally low interest rate totally unexpected on a vehicle of 10 years in age.An additional bonus as this was a used vehicle was that they had the original owners manuals and both keyless entry key remotes where many locations only have the one key available and sometimes don't have the owners manual.The result of having to perform the required repairs made any reduction in the asking price for the vehicle impossible, but this was a trade-off I was willing to make. The go ahead on a deal to make the repairs occurred Monday late in the afternoon and repairs were completed Saturday. The vehicle computer to regulate oil change intervals was not reset, but they will take care of this at no charge when I bring back.Richie was very friendly and accommodating. The test drive route was sufficient to get a good feeling for the vehicle. Some functions were unknown by the sales team as it was a used BMW at a Mercedes dealer and this is to be expected. When I finally did come to pick up the car on Saturday, Richie had some limited availability as he was also trying to work with other customers at the same time.Overall, the dealer could streamline the sales process slightly as there were times I was waiting doing nothing, followed by time I had to spend filling out a credit appllication, which I could have done while waiting on answers during the negotiation phase, etc.There was some intial confusion in the purchase process because I identified the inventory of the vehicle originally on line. The Aristocrat Motors website consolidates the used vehicle inventory from the Kansas City, Missouri location and Aristocrat Motors on the Kansas Side. Since I was on the Aristorat dealer website, I originally drove to that location only to find out that the person I spoke with on the phone and the vehicle was at the Kansas City location. I'm sure I missed something on the web, but this aspect caused some confusion and extra driving and I mention this in the case they can take a look at making this distinction of inventory more obvious somehow.Presentation of the delivered vehicle was good as they had it detailed and indoors for inspection and the tank full of gas. Overall, I'm happy with the experience as the sales team met my requests and expectations before I left.

This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I have been working with Ernie for about 9 months to get the right Sprinter. He has always been friendly and I never felt pressure to buy before I was ready. He would check with me to see how I was doing and if I was still interested, about once a month if I hadn't talked to him. He called me to say the dealer was ordering in a Sprinter with the equipment and color I was interested in and that I shouldn't feel obligated to do anything. When I was finally ready to buy I wanted a different color and Ernie was able to get one from a dealer in Wisconsin with the equipment that I had to have.

Been going to this Dealership for over four years. Each time my experience has been awful. They never have my car ready when promised. I have to hunt down someone after having made an appointment to find out where my car is when I arrive. NO follow up on if repairs are needed after them having the car over 7 hours. Charged me for serivces they forgot to perform had to go back and get item fixed after being charged for them fixing the requested repair. They do not care after they sell you a car!!!!!!!! Each time I let the Manager aware of their customer serivce issues there are many apolglogizes and excuses. Can they not run a dealership with reliable customer service and proper documentation on their invoices? My invoice shows my warranty expires in 2012 it actually expired in 2011. I had to call the Headquarters to get correct information and I purcahsed the car from them new?????

I will never go to this dealer again because of the finance manager. I never seen a finance manger work so hard against me, I felt like I was working for him. I had to call him to check on my loan. He waited two days to get back to me, and if I had'nt called him, he would of never called me. Although Keven Kious was a great salesmen, after dealing with Tony Allen, I would advise anyone to go to another dealership.

During the car search process Kevin provided the facts about car options, went over all the features, options and advangtages of the car. Kevin's approach was finding out what I was interested in, answering questions and being helpfull to me when I was looking and driving cars. When I took possession of the car Kevin explained how to operate all the features in great detail, and followed up to make sure I didn't have any other questions.

My experience at MBKC was overall very good. Pricing on the car was agreed to with a minimum of back and forth, and Andy's follow up on questions has been excellent. The car (pre-owned) needed wet sanding and polishing. It looked like new when delivered. I am very pleased.Only negative, a small one, was to $199 dealer fee they tried to lay into to the deal. They gave in without hesitation, but I am amazed that a dealer of this quality would have an add on like this. Where else do you negociate a price and then have the retailer tack on a fee?? It is just dumb.

We came over from Olathe to simply test drive a specific C350 Sport Sedan with no expectations of actually buying. Our previous car had been totaled in a collision a month previously and we had not decided on a replacement. Dave Sherman took us for a test drive in the M-B and then since I have a preference for a Coupe body style, he had us drive a '08 BMW 335i. Both were very nice cars as one would expect. We decided to purchase the M-B due to a good price and the extended warranty provided by the Mercedes Certified Pre-Owned program. Dave was able to also provide us with fast loan approval and a very good interest rate. We were able to drive the car home that very same night. I highly recommend this dealership in general and Dave Sherman in particular.

Dave Sherman was a very likeable, knowledgable and honest person. We were in the market for a new or used automobile, and our decision came down to the E350 we eventually purchased, or a brand new vehicle from another dealer. I can honestly say that Dave's excellent work in selling us the E350 and getting us financed is what made the difference, and resulted in our purchase of the used E350. In my past experience, buying a new car has been an unpleasant experience, but Dave made it enjoyable. With regard to the dealership, it was new, clean, roomy, and the service bay was incredible. I was very impressed with the post-sale services available, such as the free car wash, and other service options.

Experience purchasing my new car was one of the best I have ever had. I was treated with respect, always greeted when I walked into the dealership, and was given as much time as I needed to make a decision. Dave spent a lot of his time finding just the car I wanted with my requested extras plus helped me get a very fair price. He spent over 1.5 hours during delivery of the car to make sure I understood everything and offered to spend more time if needed. The issues I have is the quality of a new car lease. I have hail damage, my windshield is damaged and a hook on the inside of my car was broken off which I didnt see till the morning after I bought my car. The day after I bought my car the battery died so I needed to have my battery jumped and then I had to drive around for 40 minutes wasting both my time and my gas.3-days after buying my car the "Service A" light came on saying it needs service with only 2oo mile on the car. I think when you are buying a $60,000 car you should be able to drive it off the lot with no issues. I also believe that I should not have to waste my time at the dealership dealing with so many small problems. The dealership should make sure that the new cars on their lot are ready to be sold!

I already had my mind set to purchase a Smart Fortwo, but wanted to do a test drive to be 100% sure. Dave was more than helpful on one of the hottest days of the year. He understood that I had already researched what I wanted on the car and did not try selling anything more. I LOVED the fact that he was just as excited as I was about putting together the color and options that I wanted. I was honestly pretty shocked that, after saying I would be back the next week to sign papers, he had full confidence that I would. Most other salesmen would look at that as a customers excuse to leave. The overall experience was so fantastic. The other members of the sales team were very friendly and stopped in to chat as we waited on phone calls. The team at MBKC treated me like a guest at their home. Courteous, Friendly, and Helpful are just a few of the words to describe them! Great Place!! 5 stars!!

I am from St. Louis, MO and was in Kansas City visiting a friend. Went to MBKC just to see what inventory they had. Had been shopping off and on in St. Louis for 4 months with no luck in finding the car I wanted and I did not care for the experience at all. St. Louis has 3 MB dealerships and found that MBKC had the model I was interested in. Took a test drive and went in to get more information with Fernando and found that they worked with the USAA purchase program. After they explained the offer I really got interested. They offered me a fair trade-in price for my car and next thing I knew I was driving a new E class back to St. Louis. This was the best buying experience that I ever had with a dealer. Fernando was very professional and knowledgable. I felt they wanted to make the sale but were concerned with how comfortable I was. Tony Allen explained the offers after the purchase and I never felt that I was being "sold" in any way. I would refer any of my friends to Fernando anytime. Am very happy with the car and the whole experience.

I worked with Fernando Ricci at Mercedes Benz of Kansas City. Both he and the finance manager Tony Allen were great to work with. They were straight forward, honest, and very personable and professional. My preconcieved notions of going to a Mercedes Dealership in that area of town were completely wrong and off base (if you are from outside south JoCo I think you know what I mean). I was probably buying the cheapest car on their lot, and I felt like I got the same treatment as someone who was buying a top-end Mercedes. They worked with me on my trade and got me the best finance rate available, and I enjoyed the perks of buying from Mercedes even though I bought a Toyota.
