So overall I liked the service. I dropped of my car and the person taking care of me Susan was really good when it comes to understanding the process as I had prepaid maintenance. She was telling me about the changes and I was really happy about it and Stevens creek was really able to give me a mid size SUV when I told them I had back problems which was very considerate. Overall I will give them a 4.5 stars. I think the only place I felt a little improvement would be needed is communicating when the car will be ready or is ready. I had to text to figure out if my car was ready which I felt was an extra step. But apart from that I liked the service and would definitely come back

Since I pay cash for new cars, I have to rely on investments for timing. During 2016, I thought I had a relationship with the internet/fleet manager. In July 2015, came in to order 2016 C63s w/o stupid bling. I thought we had a deal, after building the car to order. Sales manager intervenes, refuses to take the order, unless I throw on $3k "entertainment pkg". He was fine with me walking out the door, with the remaining $77K in my pocket. I stopped by the fleet mgr's desk, thinking he'd want to save the sale. He didn't try real hard because . . .Month or two later I get an email; "Sales mgr is history.". I replied, that because of the way I was treated, I expected a better price, to compensate me for my time. The fleet mgr quoted $81K (MSRP) or no deal at all.Well, no deal it is. I thoroughly enjoy my 2016 BMW 550i, with M sport pkg. Plus, with 1 button, I can turn off all the Nanny State interference features, that MB requires hoops to jump through, to disable.

My wife and I were looking at Q7 and Mercedes dealerships for a SUV. Both nice cars with advantages on either side. What really made the difference in the end was the client focus, super attentive service, listening to what we needed and offering/suggesting the right car without doing a "hard sell". This is true for Slava, the sales person but also goes for all other people in the dealership we interacted with.Great Experience. Will be on the top of my list for the 2nd car we'll buy

But couldn't get it back until Saturday, and we did not have a loaner for all that unexpected time - rather annoying for multi- S class Mercedes owner.

Fun time picking up the first one and only launch edition of the C-Cabriolet in the Bay Area. I drove by MB of San Jose earlier to look at white S-Cabs but they only had matte white which was a deal breaker for the wife, too cool I guess. She's also transitioning from an E-Wagon/S-Class and current SL and preferred something around the same size as her SL. I'm not sure I would've ever thought to order a car with red interior and a matching soft top but this car is simply beautiful with the AMG body mods. Shout out to Kamil & Kim at MB of Stevens Creek for making our purchase seamless. This team made our whole experience at this old Smythe smooth and enjoyable. Thank You so much, she loves it... but make sure you order your C-Cab with the hands free trunk release, these models doesn't come with a way to open the trunk without the Key-fob.

We arranged the test drive ahead of time, for a pre-owned vehicle that was a trade-in. All of the info was available, including the Carfax report. The car was in the very front ready for us when we arrived. It took barely two hours to complete the entire process: test drive, trade in value process for my car, negotiating the price, the finance process, and left with a three day trial period to make sure we were satisfied.

I showed up for an appointment to get my tires replaced and get an alignment to find somehow my appointment, which I made by phone, was never confirmed. That's OK, they took me anyway, honored the price I was quoted and even saved me the cost of a tire when they pointed out I had an unrepairable screw in one tire which they replaced under the tire and wheel plan. They even had a loaner. Nate is amazing and I'm truly impressed by the service here.

My agent is Geoffrey Gervacio--he's friendly and sincere when I first met him to see the cars. He was willing to show me around, explained to me about the different types of Mercedes, and took me to the test drive. I didn't purchase right away but he followed up with e-mails. The 2nd time I took my parents to see Geoffrey Gervacio and the car I wanted--CLA250. Geoffrey Gervacio was very patient, and was truthful when I asked him the details on the fees that might occur after I owned the car, such as maintenance and repair. Upon my arrival at the Mercedes-Benz of Stevens Creek, I was greeted by Jim Duffer who was assigned to help me with the Service B and the repair of the rear seat belt buckle. He told me he had checked my service record the night before and noticed there was a spark-plug change was not done in the previous maintenance services. I had a great experience. Charlie Fish and he spent some time to make sure everything was working properly, what items need replacing. He pointed the condition of the tires, answered questions from my wife and myself. He provided a car for me that got me to my workplace and also to some meetings I had to drive to to that day. The car was washed. Everything was done well, on time and Charlie was very pleasant and helpful. The car was also washed for free. I will return again for at the next Service Appointment. We got a flat tire on Friday around 6:30pm, the road assistance came around 9:30pm! they towed the car, they had to change the tire but they ran out of tire! and our car was ready on Tuesday afternoon. usually you shouldn't wait this much for a flat tire! since then I don't feel safe driving GLA. what if I had this flat tire at 11PM in a highway?

I had Mercedes come pick up my car for tailgate repairs. Just had surgery and could not drive. Made apt for Mercedes to pick up car for repairs on July 7, 2016; Mercedes picked up car at 8:30am and returned repaired car at 2 pm same day. I was very surprised that all went so well and was very pleased. I am NOT pleased that Mercedes closed Park Ave Motors Service Center, Palo Alto, CA. Mercedes should REOPEN Park Motors in Palo Alto. We used Park Ave Motors for over 20 years as service and people were great. Park Motors location was very convenient for us. The other two locations for us now for service are nightmares to get to. I am NOT PLEASED with Mercedes for closing Park Motors - so much so that am thinking of NEVER buying another Mercedes!!

After the service B complete, I drove for 30 miles and then the engine light went on. I then drove back, and requested another check. Two hours later, the service guy told me some air was trapped in the engine during last service, probably because the oil fill was too fast. Sounds to me the service was in a very hasty and careless manner.Then the car was apparently fixed, and I drove off. After 2 hours, engine light went on again. I have to do the service for the third time. Luckily this time they probably got all the air bubbles out, and engine light did not go on again.

I just want to know if I want to replace a key part of car like side view mirror than where should I order it from. Dealer. I did same a week back. I ordered from Mercedes Benz of Stevens creek , California . It's been a week and still have not got it. I was told that I can collect it from showroom today before 5pm and arrived there at 4:30 pm and I was told that they cannot find the part. This all happened when I have already paid for the parts upfront. Is this common with Mercedes. If yes then this is definitely my last Mercedes and I am going to switch to better company like bmw or Audi. At least there dealers don't make fool of customers. My question to you is how long am I supposed to drive with broken side view mirror. Really disappointed with Mercedes customer service .

After searching for a new vehicle at several dealers, I selected MB of Stevens Creek. Of course, not only is the product terrific, the internet sales process was easy, and there were no surprises. After exchanging several emails with Jake, our internet sales contact, regarding features and price, we ventured to the dealership, test drove the car, and we were out the door quickly with the new car. Jake was courteous, engaging, knowledgable, and very pleasant. Jim in Finance, was entertaining and thorough. This car is the third one I have purchased at Stevens Creek MB, and I know they have excellent follow up service and maintenance as well.

Omar was my salesman I need comes across very friendly and helpful.. But let?s be real.... This is about business..... The objective in business is to make money....... I found the car that I like and they went so far as to let me take it overnight to my dealership 50 miles away to have it checked out......... We found some things that need attending to like the back tires being worn out.... Spark plugs with almost 100,000 miles on then... They broken door latch inside the car.... Loose floppy molding outside the car..... Missing the owners manual..... Before I even took the car they lowered the price...(They wanted to sell it pretty bad).. After I spent $150 to have the car checked over at my mechanic.... They said they would work with me on some of those things... But when I got back up to the dealership the following day... First problem Omar was nowhere around.... I called him four times that morning and he never returned my phone call... When I got there I complain to the sales manager.. And he was able to get home on the phone immediately after about another 10 minute wait Omar showed up and I presented my proposal that was a lot of talking back and forth between him and his manager and after about an hours delay they told me the car is for sale as is.. The best we will do is take off another $300 from the price...... Things I found wrong will cost me about $1000 to fix...... At this point I was tired and worn out (their plan worked) and I agreed... I just wanted to go home.... I was hungry and tired..... Then I had to go through dealing with this finance manager.. He spent about an hour trying to sell me extended warranties.... I arrived there at 11 o?clock in the morning and didn?t leave until 3 o?clock in the afternoon..... It took me four hours to close the deal.... They do have a great selection of cars especially if you?re looking for A new vehicle or one barely used... I like the car and I will spend the money required to fix it up but it took way too long to close this deal

My experience began online. Martin Do, the Internet Sales Specialist responded promptly and was excellent to deal with. Those I interacted with were all friendly and attentive without making me feel "pushed" into a decision. The dealership atmosphere was upscale and made me feel that I was dealing with a reputable dealer. Once I completed the process and left the dealer, there was a minor mechanical issue involving a brake light. The dealership took care of the issue, allowing me to have it repaired in my hometown so I wouldn't have to return to San Jose. I highly recommend this dealership. They also carry quality used cars which is what I purchased.

I had absolutely no intention of leasing my car from this facility. I was 400 miles away from home just visiting. The salesman came to me with an offer I refused right away. He passed it on to the finance manager and made me a deal I couldn't resist. I was looking at the same car at the dealer I've been dealing with for the last 5 years and Stevens creek Mercedes was $300 a month cheaper on the lease. They also threw in a jacket and keychain something i wouldn't get at my usual dealership. Everyone from the salesperson Fred to the finance manager Bryan and everyone else employed there were very easy going. I would definitely go back.

Had a windshield replaced at a Safelite dealer. Safelite recommended Mercedes recalibrate the cameras embedded in the windshield. Stevens Creek did it while I waited and was able to 'fix'' some of the harnessing that Safelite had incorrectly installed. Not to dis Safelite but the mechanics at Stevens Creek really know the car.

From experience I know that purchasing or leasing an automobile can be frustrating, arduous, stressful and exhausting. Not so at Mercedes Benz of Stevens Creek! I had the easiest and best experience ever in leasing my new e400 convertible last week. I had a pending order on a car at another dealership but there was a delivery delay. I walked into Stevens Creek one evening to scout alternatives and found a car I liked. My salesperson, Danesh, said they wanted my business and thus would try to match my other deal, which was aggressive. I braced myself for hours of painful negotiations....which never happened. Instead, I presented the deal information to Danesh and the dealer manager Vlad and in 10 seconds, they said they would match it. That's it. No haggling, no getting the run-around, just that easy. I returned to complete the transaction and all went smoothly, and efficiently. Danesh and his co-workers were extremely professional, accommodating and respectful of my time. They put all other dealerships I've ever experienced to shame with their integrity and customer service. I'm a repeat Mercedes customer and will most definitely return here. I recommend Danesh and team to anyone considering a Mercedes Benz!!

Prior to my purchase of my Mercedes Sprinter, I have never bought a brand new car. I had Mr. Mac Suliamani help me with my purchase. Mr. Suliamani was, in my opinion, 75% of the whole experience. Sales people were all over me trying to make the sale, but when I discovered 4 days after purchasing this new car that the extra key did not work, I had to drive back, go through the service department where a couple of techs basically just looked at me and scratched their heads before another figured out that that was not the correct key. I finally get sent back to sales where it was eventually discovered that I had been given the wrong key. Worse still, one has to be made and eventually shipped to me. Just not very happy with this experience; It took a large chunk out of my afternoon to get some sort of halfway resolution and it eroded my confidence in the dealership.

I was in the market for a CPO ML350. I found one that had the options I was looking for on the Stevens Creek MBZ site. I contacted the sale person Charlie Shen to get more information on the vehicle. Charlie was great, very knowledgable and helpful. I made the 30 minute drive to the dealership and met Charlie. His great service continued as we looked at the car and went on a test drive. I wanted to move to purchase the car, but needed to see about my 2008 ML350 and if there was a good trade in opportunity. We successfully worked out the terms, great loan and rate and made it happen. I went there and bought a new c300 last Saturday. I am completely fine with the new car and the sales person. He has actually done a great job.One star is only for the finance manager. When I bought the car, I also purchased the extended warranty, the maintenance plan and the wheel & tire warranty. The finance manager said at that time those items are fully refundable if cancelled within a given time. So this week I changed my mind and decided to cancel some of them. I called the finance manager dozens of times, but never got answered or got any call back. I also called Mercedes USA, but they said these plans can only be cancelled by the finance manager.So I guess once you bought the car, you are done with them. You can never expect to reach out them again.

I called to this dealership and asked if they have a GL450 with specific options I was interested in. There wasn't such car but they promised me to call me as soon as they get it. Overall, the process of ordering and purchasing the new S550very easy and pleasant. I went on line to find out exactly the model, color, optionsI like. The web specifications are very intuitive to follow. I printed out thespec and completed the ordering process at a local dealer within an hour. I was kept informed of the progress and took the delivery within 4 months.The car was exactly what I ordered. I was given a very friendly walk-through ofthe operation. That was extremely helpful to get me familiar with many nicefeatures. The new S550 is an incredible sedan full of safety features and luxuries. The style is much better than the last generation, which I deliberately skipped.

This was my first Car, Mercedez CLA 250, and it goes without saying how much it matters when it is the first one. I visited couple of other places, and then came here. In general when you are buying a Mercedez, your experience of buying a car is always special. That is at least how I felt when I was visiting dealerships.But coming to Stevens Creek, they really make you feel happy, whether its just the deal they are offering to you, or the way they make you feel about the car. I was dealing with Mushtaba here, and he was a delight to work with. He knew what I was looking for, and how I only cared about that. He was the kind of person who tried to arrange for me what I wanted, and did not push on me other deals just to make a sale happen, which was really cool. Even after I had already decided to go ahead with this dealership, the relation did not get over. They helped me in figuring out everything; from first time complicated paperwork, good financing, to out of the door assistance, it was perfect.Till date, Mushtaba is always available for any help that I may require. I have been a loyal BMW customer for over 20 years and my heart was set on getting a new 328i xdrive. Deciding to entertain another option based on a friend's recommendation, I test drove the new C300 4 matic. It was like a magic carpet ride! Needless to say I went back and forth between the two cars, literally driving them within minutes of each other. Hands down, Mercedes won. It was a much smoother ride and I still had the necessary acceleration (sport + mode) to feel as though I was in a BMW. The only difference I noticed was in the braking, not as tight, but still handled with plenty of control. (also, the auto hold brake feature is perfection and not offered on anything but X series in BMW)

I went in to buy a used 2012 Jeep Overland Summit, It was advertised for sale on the net.The staff was not very helpful and looked down on my appearance and brushed me off and told me the car wasn't for sale, I called the dealership on my cell and Grace Wong answered the call, she was a great help.She was helping two other customers while the other sales staff was on their cell phones texting, when we agreed that I wanted the Jeep, the man writing up the paper work didn't even want to do his job, so I told Grace to call me when the paper was done and left, the paperwork was done the next day at 10am, It shouldn't be so difficult to buy a car when paying cash. I am a minority that wasn't dressed nice but Grace didn't treat me like a nobody and brushed me off.

On a Sunday morning my wife and I decided to go out looking at new cars but with the intention of not buying. This was the third dealership we visited and we asked the receptionist for a brochure on a certain model. She stated that they were out of brochures for that model. Rather than leave we decided to stay and look and sit in some of the showroom models. A Sales Consultant(Fred Saboori) soon approached us and asked if he might help. Since I had some questions I asked about some of the features of the C400. BIG MISTAKE!!! We purchased the car.Mr. Saboori was very accommodating. We test drove two cars because my wife was not quite happy with the ride quality of the first car but satisfied with the second car. Mr. Saboori was quite friendly and very knowledgeable about the cars. In our opinion Mr. Saboori is an asset to the dealership.Although we went over our budget to purchase the car we have no regrets and enjoy the car very much.

Overall we were pleased with Mercedes-Benz/ Stevens Creek - due to the service we received once we got a sales person. Unfortunately, we went in on the President's holiday weekend and they weren't staffed adequately. We waited around for an hour to even talk with a sales person and get a test drive and still no one was available. So we went across the street to BMW to look at BMWs and test drive a car. We were ready to make a decision and purchase a car that day - so it was risky having us walk off site. We did come back an hour and a half later and a sales person was finally available then. Now it was around 5:30pm and we needed to get out of there to see my son off on an international trip. It ended up that we were stuck in the queue and did not conclude til 9pm. Make note that we originally arrived at 2:30pm. This was an excessive amount of time to purchase a car for busy people. Through all this, the sales person was attentive and supportive - but I would have liked to see us get bumped up in the queue due to our personal circumstances. My husband raced home to take our son to the airport while, I stayed to conclude the contract. I did not get to see my son before he departed..

Each of the managers that I met and dealt with were truly interested in making sure that I was pleased with the product as well as the sales & service process. What a smooth purchase process! I couldn't be more happy with the way I was treated. I'm sure there are many good sales people within this dealership. However, I had the pleasure of purchasing my car through Fred Saboori. Fred was fantastic. He knows the product line top to bottom. He knows how to guide a buyer through the process of confirming which product is best suited for you and he knows how to structure a deal that met my requirements. Again, I couldn't have asked for better treatment as a customer. Fred took care to respond to every request I had and always showed genuine interest in making certain that I was pleased and satisfied. So I bought a used S550.I traded in my Lexus GS 300. Because I owed on the Lexus I had to wait for them to pay it off and get the title before getting the balance in a check to me.Long story short 35 days later they still had not paid my Lexus off. and I still did not have the balance check sent to me. I found out because I got a late payment notice from Lexus !!! On top of that because I assumed they had taken care of things on there end I missed a payment for the first time in my life !!! After two calls and an on line web message no one called me back. I call again directly to the dealership and demanded not to get a voice mail and that I needed to talk to a human being.The operator twice sent me to two different voice mails. Twice I hit zero and got her back.I literally pulled up the staff list and started to ask for people on the list till she finally realized I was not going to go away. She put me on hold until she got someone.When Vlad got on the phone he told he was not sure why my car was not paid off and why I did not have my check. (he was not my sales man) he said he would call me back which he did. he proceeded to tell me that yes they did have my car, yes they were suppose to pay it off and yes I should have received my check. It was a "computer Error" Really!!

I live 100 miles from Mercedes Benz of San Jose. I had talked with a salesmen on the phone, we discussed inventory and price on a new 2015 S550. I immediately received an email with their current inventory. Called back an negotiated a price on the car we were interested in. Drove to M-B of San Jose on New Year's day, the car was sitting waiting for us. The dealership did take a lot of time to process all our information and get us into the Finance Department to complete the paperwork. I appreciate the fact that everything I was told on the phone was honored. There were no games played. The dealer had advisors to demonstrate all the features of the new car and answer our questions. The showroom, salesmen and facility were all top notch. I would strongly recommend this dealer !

We emailed a few dealerships around the area asking for an initial offer. Only 3 of them responded with a discounted price: one Audi dealership, one BMW dealership and this one - other Mercedes would not want to give us discounts over email. I really liked the way I was treated over email and the premise of better offer if I came over. So we decided to stop by this place first. Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to try other places, the offer was so good and so well suited to our needs that we could not refuse. Lawrence was our sales representative and did a great job for us - he made it very clear to us that we were his highest priority. BTW, their new building is simply amazing! Great coffee too. I just wish they had some food to snack on, it can be a really long day.

We purchased our Mercedes B Class EV last week. The car is fantastic (we test drove Tesla, RAV4 and Volt and MB-B is by far the best ride, best visibility and best features. People at MB of Stevens Creek (Sales, finance, and car feature training) were fantastic, but the process to get the car was painfully slow-- 8 hours over 3 days of which about 3 hours were spent waiting for people to be available or to get answers for you. Also the process isn't over yet because you have to fill out all the paperwork for the State EV refund and EV car pool lane yourself and you have to call a third party to get the 220V charger installed.

From the minute that our family walked onto the lot, he was there to greet us. What we loved the most about Sam was that he was so kind, so nice and so patient with us. We didn't feel at any time that he gave us any pressure to purchase a car or a certain car. Instead, he showed us the cars that we were interested in and explained the differences with each and made suggestions based on what we were looking for. We didn't purchase a car on our first visit and he gave us know pressure about it, but we did make a secondary appointment to visit and possibly purchase our car. On our second visit, Sam was as gracious as ever and patiently test drove cars with us and at the end of the visit, we were the proud owners of a new ML350. The entire process was so smooth, seemless and so kind. We never felt any pressure at any time and we are confident that we made the best decision at the end with Sam's help. He also introduced us to our personal maintenance serviceman at the conclusion of the purchase and subsequently, met with us one more time to teach us the functions of the car. We arrived mid afternoon on a Saturday and they were quite busy, so it took half an hour and a couple of inquiries before we were introduced to Shawn Abhati, our salesman. He was very patient and helpful as my wife decided between a GLK and the new GLA 250. She test drove both. Meanwhile I had been looking at a Jaguar XK or a Maserati for myself when I saw the beautiful SLK 250. I test drove it and a CPO SLK 350 not nearly as nice, and decided to get the S Salesman Shawn Abhati was great, new facilities are beautiful. We bought two cars, one in stock, the other on order. It took way too long for the finance guy to do an all cash deal as he kept pressuring me to buy seven different sorts of extended warranties. By the time he was done it was dark and I couldn't see the poor washing job done by the vehicle prep folks. We'll see how we do when the other car gets here. I do love the SLK 250 I bought, Only glitches so far are with the seat memory and the voice recognition system that switches me to the phone or navigation when all I want to do is change the radio station. lk

Later, found the car was involved accident before..... not a joyful experience to deal with the sales Glenn, his manager PJ, and the Dealership General Manager, Mark A... Learned a lesson that CARFAX does not cover "self-insured" car.

Even though my purchase this time wa a 10-year old 'AS IS' vehicle, they fixed every fault I could find, at substantial cost to the dealership. My customer relations manager Elizabeth Pierce, my pricing consultant Gretchen Springer, and my service advisor John Stansberry provided the ultimate in superior service. I see no reason to ever shop anywhere else and they will continue to have my service business as well as my future car purchases. If you go to buy a car, ask for Kamal - he has been there 20 years and cannot be beat.

They sold me a car at advertised price plus taxes & fees. Assured me that loan is approved and I signed the deal. They lost the car keys, and I could not get home with car. They handed me the car keys on next day. It's 3rd week, I am still getting calls and emails from finance department and other bankers regarding loan approval/decline etc etc. Its very irritating and disgusting thing to be lied by Mercedes professional dealer to sell their stuff. Also the uncertainty regarding loan is a headache, and keeps me tense. I read online that some 3rd class dealers use this tactic, called yo yo financing, to sell cars but this was not expected from mercedes professionals. I am now in waiting mode from 3 weeks. Their professionalism is worst and there is no honesty and transparency as supposed to be with other merceded dealers. Buy from any other Mercedes, but not from smythe.

One afternoon I casually went to Smythe European dealership with my wife and son. The experience was literally awesome. One of the Sales Manager introduced me to Glenn Hartzheim (Internet Sales Mgr), Glenn was terrific. He took us on a test drive for 2014 ML350, explained us all the various packages, models, etc. No rush, no pressure, pure facts. We made the decision the very same day and made the deal. I ended up buying a used bmw from the dealership in Dec 2013, from what seemed like Grace' first rodeo. She failed to sell me the car at first, but then when my friends battery died at the parking lot as we were leaving the lot and we had to ask their mechanics for booster cables, the finance manager came out. He gave dropped the price Grace gave us to a much more reasonable amount and thanks to my friends' stalled car, I ended up buying the car from the dealership. Then, the customer service, or lack thereof, started to unravel. First, Grace and the finance manager assured me that they took care of all the paperwork and filed an application for new licence plates for my car (i had just moved to the US and did not have licence plates), so I took off thinking I'll get the plates in the mail in a couple months. Fast forward two months later, I get an engine light in the car and decide to take it back to the dealership for inspection. I called the dealership and left a voicemail asking to call me back with available times to schedule the appointment. The call was never returned. So i ended up taking it to the BMW dealership across the street instead. Fast forward a couple more weeks, its now 2.5 months after buying the car and the plates have yet to arrive in the mail. In the past couple of weeks I also started to get pulled over more frequently by cops asking for my licence plates, as they usually raise an eyebrow when I tell them i bought the car in december and have yet to get the plates in the mail. So I decided to call the dealership and confirm that the application for plates was indeed sent 3 months ago and inquire on the delay. It turned out, they forgot to send the application in December and instead sent me a blank form to fill out and send back to them, to "fix" the situation. Now, i'm expected to wait another month or two until I actually get the plates in the mail.I'm sorry to say this, although not really, but the lack of customer service stinks the entire place, from service to sales. I will never set foot in that place again and I would recommend anyone to do the same, unless you expect to deal with amateur sales associates and crappy customer service. There are better places to take your car for service on Stevens Creek, as well as a better selection of cars. The staff at Beshoff Mercedes was a lot more helpful and responsive when I had to deal with them and would gladly recommend that dealership for new/used cars.

Two things I look for in an automobile dealership is product knowledge of their sales staff and level of service post-sale. For the past year I checked out many different cars/dealerships, it was important for me to make sure the next car I purchased had everything I wanted and within my budget (I was not going to be an easy sell). Shawn at Mercedes was the only sales person who made it a point to follow up with me periodically to see if I had any other questions or if I needed to take another test drive to see if that would help me with my decision. I am so glad that I have purchased my first Mercedes from Nordean Felix at Smythe European recently. He is the most wonderful guy I have ever come across in my experiences with car dealers including Toyota, Honda and Lexus. I really enjoy my new 2012 ML 350. It's spacious and quiet.I definitely recommend Smythe European based on the following reasons:Nordean is very patient and professional My wife and I went to test drive a C-class on the first Saturday. Nordean spent over an hour and a half with us. However, we found out that we have to place an order for the model we wanted and it will take 2 months to deliver. We didn't want to wait for that long and we told Nordean we needed some time to think about it. He was very professional and didn't give us any stress. Then we went to test drive in the next Saturday for a GLK and ML. Nordean is still very patient and professional to help us.Nordean is honest and not pushy He asked me if I owned a Lexus and that could be eligible for a $2000 rebate. I saw a review from the internet that one other dealer in Seattle area told the customer there was only $1000 rebate.Jim in Finance department is very easy to deal with During the process of financing, Jim went through all the options that I could purchase with the car but he gladly took NO as an answer for the options. Most dealers (eg Honda) will keep talking you into buying more options such as alarm, extended warranty, wheel locks, etc. Even Lexus will also hard sell the options.Favorite features:* Quiet and spacious.* The ride is smooth. The car seems to handle bumpy roads quite well.* I like the Premium 1 package - 10GB of Media Storage is convenient to transfer my audio CDs there. - The rear view camera is quite wide angle and it's very useful. It's also very clear even at night. - The voice COMMAND control is very useful to enter destination for NavigationImprovement suggested:* The rear mirrors should be bigger* Fuel consumption is high

I established my relationship with Goran Muftic, Smythe European Sales Consultant, when I built my Mercedes Benz E550 2012 in July 2011. He had been keeping me update regarding the status of the car. Finally the car arrived at Smyth European Dealership and Goran called on Nov. 2. On Nov. 3, I picked-up the car. He was very friendly and hospitable. He explained in detail the purchase of the new car and the trade-in of the old Mercedes Benz C350. He also explained the items included in the package. After the car was paid, he came to the car showed and demonstrated how to operate the different features included in the package. This is my 3rd Mercedes Benz, so far only Goran who took the time to explain and demonstrate the advanced features of the car. I'm updating my previous review because the sales person I dealt with went out of his way to take up my case again and gave me the vehicle at the verbally discussed price.The price I got for my SLK280 is surely a great one.Overall Experience:Sure there were hickup's but once I got back to dealing with my sales agent things were back to smooth flow.Customer Service:With regard to scheduling appointments and tracking them they are surely well organized. But there are always times when things get mixed up. But once I touched base with Omar things went smoothly.Our experience was slightly short of the excellent just because of the confusion that ensued for a day.

I was looking on line for a Subaru Forester and a national website they advertise on was were I found the one I wanted....very interested in this one and wanted to see if they would do trade in for 08 BMW 335i convertible in excellent condition with 40k miles....manager came back and said he wouldn't do a trade out of state.... What dealer says that!!! even if they low balled me it would have been a good deal for them. They are part of the "Auto Nation" network...what part of Nation are they not getting? Told the rep to forget it...who wants to deal with someone who doesn't give a crap about your business

Wow..where do I begin?Sales- Certified pre-owned C280, according to Auto-nation there is a three day satisfaction guarantee. The Sales Mgrs tried to pretend they didn't know about this. Don't buy the Service A & B contract, purchasing it when you need it was less than buying it up front. Rude- The moment after I bought the car, I was told "we lost money" on the car we sold you. Ahh yeah..never in a million years would a dealership do that!! The first six months my car was constantly being repaired..I drove it for a total of two months max. It was always in the shop for a week at a time and getting a courtesy vehicle took an hour each time. They once gave me a car where the trunk lid kept flying open multiple times as I drove less than a mile away from the dealership.My car was certified as "ding free" yet there was a ding on the roof. My car was supposed to be "detailed" which I postphoned till later since it was going to rain. When I brought in for the replacement of a cracked Burl wood trim on the door they just ran it through the water rinser in the back and after pointing this out to the service advisor Jay x 3 it was finally taken care of. Btw, The "new" Burl wood trim had a chip on it. When I brought it back in for replacement they bumped my car into something & damaged the front bumper that had to be REPAINTED! All the while, my car had been making a loud "ticking" noise coming from the right rear side of the car that sounded like roulette wheel slowing down when I came to a full stop & a rattling noise when accelerating at a slight incline. I was told they couldn't determine the problems so basically as far as they were concerned there weren't any. I insisted they test drive & check it again the morning they wanted me to pick it up & low & behold they found the problem (the fuel line was twisted?! When I picked up my car one of my chrome rims was damaged! Of course, they denied it & after alot of hassle they agreed to replace it...they took a used beat up one off another car & put it on my car without my consent. This was completely unacceptable & they reluctantly shipped a pair from the "chromer." Which arrived scratched because were not packaged correctly. Four more were sent with imperfections & scratches which I was forced to select from because I was told "there weren't anymore available." I was so disgusted with Smythe European at this point I just wanted to get it over with. The rattling during acceleration & slight inclines was not resolved until now. They had a service technician with poor hearing ride along with me who "didn't hear anything." I requested a different technician and finally had it resolved...broken piece of Fuel pump in Cadallitic converter & adjustment of Octane sensor. Against my better judgement I took my car there to have the Service A completed and they DINGED my front passenger side door of my "Ding Free" car!! Big surprise they denied it..stating that Jay & Mike (Service Mgr)had documented (after I dropped off my car and left) that my car had other dings, etc. Neither the Service Mgr or Service Director were there so I had to get the General Manager of the dealership involved because there was no way I was driving my car off their property without aknowledgement of the ding. I challenged Jay to show me the other dings, etc they documented & he could not show me one!! The General Manager's opinion was that my car was very clean!! He reassured me that they would take care of it...oh my gosh when I went to go pick it up it looked like they put "White Out" on it!!! It went back to the Body Shop..still could see it but it was much better. They offered to send it back and after all the drama I had been through I just wasn't willing to risk them damaging my car further!! I spoke to Rob Meiter on multiple occasions about their carelessness & incompetence and asked him why I would return?? He just made excuses. Obviously he doesn't care about improving their service or their reputation.

I took on my E320 for service B. during the repair, they told me that I should replace my break. When I ask them how much wear i have left. "well it is pretty low" when I ask for a #, "well, it is only 20%"I will leave it up to you on if that is the right time to change breaks.

I had my ML-430 serviced through Smythe for 6 years until my last incident with my power steering. Apparently they had two recalls on the ML's power steering hoses/attachment point. One of these recalls was performed on my car, the other was not, even when they were aware of it. As a result my power steering hose disconnected/leaked heavily when I was driving home one day and I lost my power steering as I exited the freeway. When I had the car towed in Smythe attempted to not pay for the tow even though MB Roadside service said it was covered. As I left dropping the car off I had it resolved that they would pay, yet when I went to pick up the car, they tried again not to pay! So I was not happy with them for blantly not handling the recall item proactively and then trying to avoid the costs. The tow truck driver said he was picking up a lot of MLs for the same defect and there was a tug-o-war between MB USA and the dealers over the tow coverage.Additionally on smaller services, I had to bring the car back because they forgot to do something. Example: I had the central window switch replaced, and the tech forgot to plug in the mirror cable to it.Something has been happening at Smythe over the last few years, a change in managment or something, as customer service has declined in my book.

I purchased my SLK320 from here and had it serviced by this dealership for the past 3 years of ownership. The sales went rather smoothly, the price they gave me the second time around was reasonable, so I just signed the papers and picked up the keys within 2 hours time frame.On the service side, I'm quite satisfied with their work. I won't say they are the most friendiest people on earth, but they do get the job done and done it right. If I really have to complain, it would be the below-par complimentary car wash. They sometimes sublet it to the car washer across the street, which is known to be one of the worse car wash places on stevenscreek.Overall, they do everything by the book, if your car is out of warranty, don't expect them to treat you the same way they did when your car was still under warranty.

Another very poor MB dealer. I submitted an online request for a quote.They didn't come back with a quote, but set up an appointment where I could come in to test drive the car.They said they didn't have an SLK55 in stock, but just come in, they'd have one by Saturday.The lady I had an appointment with wasn't even working that day. They palmed me off on some other guy that knew absolutely nothing about the car, he couldn't even identify the COLOR correctly where I could (Firemist Red vs. Mars Red).They refused to even consider going below MSRP on the vehicle, so I went with MB of Oakland where they gave me $1700 off MSRP.I simply cannot understand how dealerships like this can stay in business with abysmally poor customer service.

Smythe European is a horrible dealership in general. They charge you inflated prices, and they often do not fix what they say they have fixed. And they are snobs.<br><br>The Park Ave. branch in Palo Alto is bad as well. I sold my car to them, and I can't decide whether they are lazy or incompetent. Overall experience was bad. They said they would Fedex papers the next day--they didn't. They said the check will be cut on a Thursday--it wasn't. Then the next day we were told the check was in the San Jose office. We wouldn't get it until Monday. Then on Monday we were told it still wasn't in the Palo Alto office. We ended up driving to SJ ourselves. The worst part was Mr. Oneal was unapologetic throughout.<br><br>Too bad for Mercedes--I won't be buying (or selling) one again.
