Staff at Middletown Honda are friendly and very competent. I purchased my 2011 Pulot from Ryan Dino. He was great and did not pressure me into the sale. Thank you Ryan! Hassle free, one negotiation, only took 90 minutes to take the car Home. Salesman Gus Cabrera was very professional and he knew what I wanted, he made it happen.I will continue to purchase from there in the future. Worst experience ever. I purchased my first Honda CRV there back in 2008 at that time customer service WAS impeccable. This time I went to see The salesman who sold me vehicle. Unfortunately service was not the same. He made no effort to help me out. He had a this it it attitude and was not serviceable at all. Gus C you should consider retiring. I was extremely dissatisfied and will not return.

I would like to recommend Honda Middletown to all. The sales person Gus and manager, Jorge was professional, honest and most important didn't pressure us on releasing or buying a new car. The process of returning a leased car was quick. The sales manager took it upon himself to do the paperwork. When you treat people the way he did it makes me want to come back and send others to him. Jorge, is an asset to this industry. Will be recommending Honda to my family and friends.

I was told my differentials were bad on my car, front and rear as well as muddy transmission fluid. I called 3 other dealers and they said that with only 60,000 on the vehicle, something must be wrong or their screwing me. They wanted to charge me $775.00 plus tax to weed out what was wrong and if flushing them didn't work then Honda care would cover a replacement but I would NOT be refunded. I picked up the vehicle and 2 hours later I became the proud owner of a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee. No thank you Honda, I really can't afford to weed out the problems on your check list. Good riddance, I've never had so many problems with a car.

I brought my car in for the auto butler service. While it was there I had my tires rotated and oil changed. They also inspected my car after they spoke to me when they called to let me know my car was ready to be picked up. They went above and beyond.

I went to Middletown Honda in mid-December 2015 to replace tires and do other maintenance work on my Honda Pilot. About 3 hrs. after I left the car for service, I received a call from my customer service rep (Mary Valdez) saying I had a power steering fluid leak and that I needed to replace my steering rack for approx. $1,600. Ms. Valdez told me that I would not pass my next inspection (due in March 2016) because of this leak. Her manager, Mike Grasso, told me the same thing. I retrieved my car to check for the leak myself and to get a second opinion. I monitored the steering fluid reservoir for about a week, and there was absolutely no sign of any leak. Not a drop. A second mechanic, on two separate visits, did not find a leak. My car passed the inspection in March 2016 with flying colors.I noticed that another woman who posted a complaint on this website had the identical issue with this dealer and the same rep (see November 9, 2015 complaint).I've used this dealer to service my car for about 10 years. They always took too long to do repairs, had disorganized customer service and sometimes I had to bring the car back a second time to complete the work. But I used to feel that, overall, my car received good service and because of that I put up with the other drawbacks. I also brought a family member to buy a new Honda there and was going to buy my next new car there. The dealership has changed, however, and they now appear to be overcharging. I see no other explanation for their conduct with me except that they attempted to defraud me of approx. $1,600. I gave them one star, but would give them no stars, if I could.This is a textbook example of how to drive away your most loyal customers.

If you want to be treated rudely, talk to people who can barely be bothered with addressing your Takata airbag problem and don't have time to help you with questions, purchase your next Honda from Middletown Honda. They are the best at not answering their phone, disconnecting after several tries, and when you get through with the help of Honda of America, showing how annoyed they are with you that you could possibly want to know which car you might get if you chose to use a rental until your airbag was fixed...sometime in August! Last Honda for me!

If I could rate this dealership a 0, I absolutely would. The sales associate that was working with us was very rude and acted as if we were bothering him. Me and my boyfriend are young so when we went into the dealership (as serious buyers with money in our pocket) we were treated very poorly. I asked if we can get a certain color of vehicle shipped from another Honda location and we were told NO, which I know was possible. Even the woman at the front desk wasn't very pleasant. I will never return to this dealership again.

Be careful and do not get tricked by Managers to buy new car or by their service department. They will talk you into bringing in your car . They will never say there is a diagnosis charge .They will trap you to spend money even after they talk you into bringing car and let them check it out. There is always a catch. Their quote for example just a $10.00 A/C Relay switch was approx. $400.00. ( I fixed it myself, it cost me less then $15.00 dollars including NY tax) Every time you bring your car for an oil change they use their scaring customer technic and talk you into premature services, which ends up in few hundred dollars to couple of thousand dollars out of customers pocket.

Brought my 2008 Honda Accord in for service. Told them what I wanted done (Oil change, tune up and check the emergency brake). They found several other problems and had them fix it. Paid a premium price, expecting premium service. Turned the car on the next day and the car was idling very fast and the check engine light was on. Had to bring the car in the next day so that they could look at it. Turns out the car computer needed to relearn the idle. This should have been done when they tuned the car up. I expect premium service when I'm paying a premium price and did not receive the service I was charged for.

I took my Pilot in last week for a recalled seatbelt. After I dropped it off I was told they were going to do their complimentary multi-point inspection (whatever). I got a call from Mary later that morning telling me that their mechanic found that my steering rack was leaking very badly, it was dangerous to drive and the repair was quoted at $1560. I played the dumb wife card and told them I would talk to my husband about it and picked my car up later that day and took it the next morning to my local mechanic. He tells me there was nothing wrong with my car: nothing was leaking, not even a drop, and all the fluids were full. He couldn't make it leak even after taking it for a drive. I called Mary back to report this to them - I was furious. She apologized and said she would "Look into it." I'm still waiting for an explaination of how they were going to rip me off for $1560. I think I may be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I think the BBB might be interested in this. A few years ago I had to bring in the same car for a different recall. This was my first experience with this dealer. I dropped it off at 9am I told them I needed it back by 4 because I had reservations to an event that night. My car wasn't ready til 5:40. I was late to my event. All I got was a "sorry" for the delay. The only reason I got it back even then was they closed at 6pm. There was an article in the Times Herald Record a few months ago how this dealership was ripping people off for $500 each on lease turn ins. New York State got involved they owed a lot of money to many hundreds of people because they had been doing this a long time. Never Never go to these people.

I own a nice 2007 Toyota SR5 4Runner and I am the original owner. I received a trade-in offer from a Pa Honda dealer of $7600 against a 2015 CRV-LX. The LX was priced at dealer invoice. In order to test the waters with one more dealer I visited Middleyown Honda. They offer me $2100 LESS on my Toyota trade in and the same CRV was priced $1100 higher. What a ripoff offer!! You can kill me on one side of the deal but not on both sides. It's a shame that Middletown Honda seems to have lost sight of good salesmanship and good business dealing...perhaps because Honda makes such a quality car they think they can get away with this. I strongly suggest you compare Middletown Honda pricing (and attitude) with other Honda dealerships before you buy there.

The whole team actually worked with me to get my credit approved and the deal that I wanted. I had a radiator hose recall on a 2007 accord. After driving it and experiencing smoke from radiator fluid being sprayed on the exhaust manifold. I opened the hood and discovered flames were shooting out of the engine compartment so the car was not drive able. Called Honda of Middletown for a simple tow and hose replacement and the fun began. I had a service adviser and a service manager promise to call me back after they consulted with their service adviser on a game plan and not one time did they call me back. They set expectations for the customer that they have no intention of adhering to. When i picked my car up the cashier had to leave her office area to search for my keys and paperwork. The service adviser once again dropped the ball and she stinks at her job. I would not allow Middletown Honda to service bicycle. The owner Adam Malik could care less his pockets are full of money and he could care less about creating a positive customer experience. One would think that they would have demonstrated a positive interaction to gain repeat business from me and my Honda owning family. Nope. They could care less. Never again will i pull in to their lot to purchase or service a vehicle. Oh did i mention, the accord in this review was purchased from Middletown Honda brand new back in 2007 and i am getting ready for a new one. You lose Middletown Honda!!!

I was recently at Middletown Honda, I still feel the pain, and I will not go back to this location, and also not buy a lease a honda any more, this is what I feel after my experience.My story going back from last repair on my vehicle, I came in for a oil change and a plug for my tires, the service person advised me it will take a couple of hours so I waited went shopping, then I took my care and the plug was never done, and paid 65 bucks for oil change and 45 for plug what wasn't done, came back the next morning with a low tier, so ask why my plug wasn't done, he said because I need new tires, so asked why I got charged for not doing a plug he didn't know why, so had to buy new tires because he refused to do a plug for that tire, so I asked to refund my plug charge, he didn't want only offered a free oil change for next visit, so after 3 months, I came in with my vehicle for a oil changed and tire adjustment, went to this same creepy service manager because I could only got a free oil change from him, and he advised me it will take about 2 hours, didn't had a choice and stayed and waited, after 2 hours i went to ask him what the status, then he told me that they are working on it, they probably started to working on it then, to make the long story short I was waiting there for more than 5 hours, spend a entire work day for this silly honda, and this vehicle is not old, has very few miles.Will not recommend leasing or buying a honda and especially from Middletown Honda

I had my car 2 days and the battery went . so It was a little bit of Work on my end to get the problem fixed because one of the employees told me that I had to Pay for the Towing and buy the battery and then that i'd be reimbursed HOWEVER I have bumper to bumper Warranty on it . AND I was capable of getting a hold of Matt V. who PROMPTLY FIXED the problem he had given me his direct number for anything further , however my cell crashed and I lost my digits in it / so I need to get his number again . OVER ALL RATING FOR MATT V. ( SOLD ) Me the car . HE'S VERY professional , was very NICE when I introduced him to my daughter who had cancer / couldn't have been more compassionate to her , she's just 18 //// so OVER ALL , GIVE MATT V . I recently brought in my 2008 Honda Accord to be serviced for a check engine light I had. It turned out to be for a purge valve in my fuel tank. I was in a few weeks earlier because the check engine light was on, but when I had it checked at Auto Zone first they reset it, so I had to wait for it to come back on. I dealt with Chris Burba the entire time my car was in Honda's care, and he was very professional, respectful and courteous to deal with. He even checked and verified that the work being done on my car was covered under the emissions warranty (15 years / 150,000 miles). I only had to pay $29 for another service I had done (that was after the $99 vehicle evaluation fee was deducted). When I picked up my car the check engine light was taken care of, and I am very satisfied with the level of service I received. Chris and even the cashier women were all very friendly. I highly recommend Middletown Honda for the outstanding service I received.

My salesman had quit on the day my car was supposed to be delivered and nobody in the dealership had called me and let me know what was going on or anything! i went to the dealership to find out what was going on with my car and my salesman i had dealt with and i know everything was all messed up because of that but nobody even called me. They had put me with another salesman and i did not care for him at all, he was trying to locate my car, but he had also said that the type of car i wanted was unpopular which i thought was very unprofessional to say to me, after that i just got discourged and decided to go to another dealer which was morehead honda of newburgh, i'm very dissapointed with middletown honda i will never have dealings with them again.

This was by far the most pleasant and easy experience buying a car. I bought a 2008 Honda Civic LX and it is beautiful. I dealt with Ed Folkl and I hope I don't have to tell you more than say he is the salesman you want to go to. He was professional and honest and the negotiating process was simple and I couldn't have been happier! Took our spare and old 1990 Honda last year for service on the FRONT automatic seat belts which was a lifetime warranty issue supposedly covered by Honda corporate. Made an appointment and waited 90 minutes after that time to get the car inspected. They said they don't have the seat belt tensioner motor but they will order it. We made a follow up appointment a few days later and brought the car back in. This time I waited 2 hours and when I didn't hear anything, went up and they said they haven't worked on it yet - though I saw 2 other NEW cars get in before me. That means they forgot about me.I waited another 2 hours and they said it was done. Went to try it out and the front seat belt was STILL not working. They said they worked on the back seat belt and put in a new one (????) There was NOTHING wrong with the rear seat belt. Then they said that the car was too old and they could not get that part in to fix the front seat belts. No apologies, no nothing.I spent over 8 hours waiting for a repair that was ultimately never done. With no apologies and no adequate explanation for the multiple goofs, I would highly NOT RECOMMEND them performing any repairs or business.

Took our spare and old 1990 Honda for service on the FRONT automatic seat belts which was a lifetime warranty issue supposedly covered by Honda corporate. Made an appointment and waited 90 minutes after that time to get the car inspected. They said they don't have the seat belt tensioner motor but they will order it. We made a follow up appointment a few days later and brought the car back in. This time I waited 2 hours and when I didn't hear anything, went up and they said they haven't worked on it yet - though I saw 2 other NEW cars get in before me. That means they forgot about me. I waited another 2 hours and they said it was done. Went to try it out and the front seat belt was STILL not working. They said they worked on the back seat belt and put in a new one (????) There was NOTHING wrong with the rear seat belt. Then they said that the car was too old and they could not get that part in to fix the front seat belts. No apologies, no nothing. I spent over 8 hours waiting for a repair that was ultimately never done. With no apologies and no adequate explanation for the multiple goofs, I would highly NOT RECOMMEND them performing any repairs or business.

Well I am have said this before, I have never used Middletown Honda before and was not sure what to expect in January 2012. I was very happy with the service of my Jeep even though I felt like I became part of the furniture at the dealership. everyone got to know me and when it was time to say goodbye to my Jeep they made the transition so easy for me...it is now 2013 and me and my new Honda CRV are doing great and that is all thanx to my wonderful salesman Tito and his boss George. They are two very good people and very dear to my heart. I will continue to take my car to Middletown Honda for any oil changes or services needed, I go where I feel like family...for that I could not ask for anything more.

In connection with my previous post, I am now withdrawing my complaint. Unbeknownst to me initially, the service manager, Mr. Jeff Lucca attempted to reach out to me as soon as he got word about my dissatisfaction with the price I paid. When we did make eventual contact, he understood I was looking to get a concession for the diagnosis fee and without hesitation expressed his willingness to honor this request. My complaint as originally posted was only with the price I was charged with the last servicing. It did not reflect the quality of the service done at this dealership. The Middletown shop has always done top notch work and because of this I'm glad we were able to come to a reasonable resolution. I really did not want to burn my bridges with this dealership. So this issue was resolved and I intend to return in the future for servicing.

Do not purchase from this dealership! They did not specify the term length when they gave a payment estimation. They also tried to get me to use Honda financing which was 2 percent higher than the best available in the area and when I told them that my bank offered a much lower APR they acted shocked even though they deal with this bank on a regular basis. When the vehicle was delivered it had a quarter tank of gas, the rear two tires had no tread left, the key fob was dead, the headphones for the DVD player did not work and it was missing the rain guard on the front passenger window. I will never buy a vehicle or service my vehicle with this second rate dealer ever again. I will buy Honda again but I will use a different dealership.

I brought my Honda CR-V in for a recall service.... I had scheduled the service over the phone, and the person I dealt with on the phone seemed unfamiliar with scheduling as it took her a while to navigate their computer system. No big deal.However, she never indicated to me where to drop the car off for the service.I arrived early to drop my car off for the service, and parked in a very tight, packed parking lot and entered the building, proceeding to the back of the building where I thought the Service Desk was.I did not- find any counter labeled 'Service' so approached the Parts counter... 2 men were in line ahead of me, but the woman behind the counter leaned over to look at me and asked if I needed help.When I told her I was there to drop my car off for a recall, she said I had to go to Service. I stated I did not know where that was and she said something about drive up to the garage doors 'Haven't you ever been here before?' she asked condescendingly.Seriously? Why ask me that or comment in a way that made it seem like I was stupid for not knowing where the Service Dept. was?And as a matter of fact, no I have not had my car in there more than a couple of times for service, and those times I was not necessarily the person who dropped it off. While there are a million of reasons, none of them that should be any of her business, this could have been my first stop in. Trust me with the attitude I experienced there, it will be my last.When I approached the guy servicing my car about her comments he was incredibly rude, one-upping my comment that I was having a bad day [it being the holidays and having recently lost my father] with a comment that his house burned down... and later commenting that 'the customer isn't always right'. What?! Are you kidding me? These people need a seminar in Customer Relations and how to deal with an upset customer in a way that makes the situation better, not worse.Incredibly unprofessional, and not customer oriented.I can tell you when it's time to trade this car in and get a new one, I certainly want another CR-V, but I will not be buying it or getting it serviced at Honda of Middletown.

I had a bad experience with the person who did the scheduling for service. When I brought my car in for service, everything I had asked for was not done. James Hadden was my service advisor and he tried to correct the situation and I was very pleased with his service and assistance. When I mentioned to Mr. Hadden one item that had not been completed, he apologized and had it taken care of very quickly. I did not mention to Mr. Hadden that I still had requested services that were not completed because I did not have the time to wait at the dealership any longer. When I got home, I called the service manager, Jeff Luca, he apologized for my inconvenience and told me if I came back in to have the other services done, it would be complimentary. When I went back for my second appointment, Jeff Luca approached me and again apologized and oversaw the service on my car. James Hadden also assisted my in this service and I cannot be more pleased with these two employees. What started out an unfortunate experience ended up being a very pleasurable experience because of Jeff Luca and James Hadden.

After a test drive with a very pleasant salesman, he was able to locate the car I wanted nearby. I called back in a few days and negotiated the deal I wanted over the phone. The financing application was done online. The car was ready in a few days and the roof rack was installed--ready to go. I was very pleased with every aspect of the car buying experience at Middletown Honda. It was my first car purchase and being a woman, I was hesitant to approach a car dealership by myself. I recently had a new baby and while I needed a good deal, I did not have a lot of time to haggle. I found Ed Folkl straightforward, honest and he was very fair in the price. He also "held my hand" through the entire process. He made the experience enjoyable and fun and even went so far as to help me program my phone. He really went above and beyond when I was not even at the dealership. It was finally time to replace my beloved Saturn and I had heard great things about the Honda Fit. I actually drove one last year before I knew that I would be shopping soon. I met someone recently who has a Fit and she told me to look up Ed Folkl at Middletown Honda. When I met Ed for the first time I was impressed by his gentle, yet direct manner. He immediately put me at ease. After talking for a very short time he realized that this was a big step for me and his easy manner and patience allowed me to stay present and ask the questions that I had come in with. He's also very knowledgable and able to answer questions in a very staightforward manner. Ed has a way of speaking that is authentic and uncontrived. He doesn't have "lines" that are delivered automatically to every potential customer. And his memory is incredible! I know he takes notes, however, when I came in for my second meeting with him (2 mos.later)our conversation flowed as if I had just talked to him yesterday. He remembered things that are important to me. What a gift. In addition to all of this his sense of humor is outstanding and his laughter is contagious. This quality helps put people at ease and with that comes a sense of trust.Ed was available when he said he would be, he called me to stay in touch, but was neverintrusive or pushy. so far i love my new little civic, it has only been a few days but i feel i have made the right choice. I went on a sunday afternoon to purchase one, which was great that they were open.Ed and Sean worked with me a seemed like nice friendly genuine people. The only thing that I did not like was that when i called the dealership to ask the difference in price between leather vs cloth. Ed was off so I just wanted an answer to the generic question and they would not answer it because my specific salesman was not there to answer the question. I know it is commission driver but there should be a generic person to answer questions regarding pricing .

When I first met Sales Representative Ed Folkl in Middletown Honda, I told him I was comparing my two preferred minivans, the Honda Odyssey and the Toyota Siena. Ed was very patient with me, and he answered ALL of my questions. I experienced absolutely no pressure from Ed, even though it took me over a week to finally choose the Odyssey EX-L. I was very close to buying a CR-V from Conrad. The car they found me ended up being a color I did not want. Their manager Robin called me and was pretty rude to me on the phone, telling me how much work it was to find the car and that I was not telling the truth when I said it was a color I didn't want. I said I was not interested in that car, but would actually be interested in the new model instead. No one called me back. I ended up buying my 2012 Honda CR-V from Friendly Honda in Poughkeepsie. On several occasions I have taken 1 of my 3 honda's in for service. Wait time is long, service is expensive but thats expected when servicing at the dealer. One of my problems was with my Honda Accord ex 99. I needed a new key. I was not given thorough information. After I paid 100 bucks for getting a copy made I needed to pay to get it programmed. On a different occasion with the same vehicle I took it in for tire rotation and other work. They lost my tire lock. After explaining to the service rep that I didn't notice the missing lock for 2 days he agreed I should bring car in. They had not found the lock so they had to break the old and replace. I waited 4 hours for this blunder. Another occasion with my 2009 cr-v, I took it in because my air conditioning was not cooling. After being told it's probably due to my driving habits and pebbles somehow damaging my airconditioning unit and that it won't be covered under warranty even though I had purchased the extended warranty, it turns out to be a hose and thank GOD it was covered. Nothing more annoying than giving me a pre diagnosis thats false. Then, my 99 Accord went in for an oil change and the cap was left off. I was on the road to NYC when smoke started coming from the hood. My oil was spilling. My son traveled up from NC in his 2003 Acura for the holidays. His transmission began to falter. Wasn't taking 5th gear. Took it to Middletown Honda where they diagnosed a very expensive transmission problem. I advised him to take it to my old Honda dealer in Paramus NJ. Thats where I moved here from. When my son went to pick up his car the service people lost his car key. I love my Honda and have been a loyal customer to Honda for over 15 years. But Middletown Honda leaves much to be desired in Service!!!

My wife and I recently puchased a new CR-V. This is not the first new car we've purchased but this was by far the best experience we've had. It was mid Nov and we were not in a position to purchase a new car but a car accident with my husband's car lead us to my favorite car dealership-Middletown Honda. So we purchased a new car for him with the help of of Ed Folkl, a salesman I wouldn't want to be w/o!!! There was no pressure and his expertise lead us to a great car. We had such a great experience we traded my car in for a new car too, just a few wks later, but it didn't end there. It was a snowy day and our daughter was coming home from work and totaled her car so we went back to Middletown Honda and leased a new car for her, again with Ed, who once again came through with a great car and perfect deal. You won't believe it but we ended getting a 4th car as my mom now wanted a new car too! It was mid Jan and for her birthday, wow, what a deal for her too!! Needless to say 4 cars w/i 3 mo, who would've thought. I can say enough about Honda being #1, but our salesman who is also #1 in my book! We couldn't have done all of this without the help of Ed, and then Joe and Sean, who made those deals a final posabiliity. We love each and everyone of our cars and now we're known as the honda family. They sure live up to their word and even our son has a 96 honda. You ask how do we like the honda dealership and staff? We love them, and it got better and better with each car purchase we made. Ed, Keep em comin' as leases come to an end and we will be needing new ones once again. The moment I walked into this dealership I felt welcomed and was treated as "family". My salesman, Ed Folkl, was extremely knowlegable and went out of his way to assist me. After doing my homework online I went back to Ed and worked on a deal. His first and only offer beat any other offer I had for the exact same car at other dealerships. Needless to say I accepted the deal. I was then directed to John the finance mgr who completed the paperwork for the loan and and offered the extended warranty and several other items. At NO TIME was I or did I feel pressure to purchase these add ons. At the time I closed the deal I met with Jen. She explained ever piece of paperwork in detail and requested that I read each and every one to ensure I had no questions. When we completed the paperwork she took over an hour of her time to go through the vehicle from how to work the rear seats to setting up the bluetooth in two phones. I could not be and have not been happier with a car dealership in my 25 plus years of driving. Thanks to all.

To whom it may concern,EVERYONE with whom I interacted was pleasant, helpful, efficient, and upbeat. I did not expect to enjoy the experience of spending money, especially since this was my first time trading in a used car when purchasing a new car. Imagine my surprise when I actually had fun with the transaction. Most importantly, they were in touch with me immediately, kept in touch with me, gave me pricing guidelines over the telephone instead of expecting me to come in blind, answered my numerous questions, made every effort to give me what I wanted, and...... STUCK TO THEIR PROMISES!!!! I even, for the first time in my life (gasp! from those who know me)..... 'joined' a warrantee program (I forget exactly how it was phrased, but it sounded better than my usual perception of "spending a lot of money for nothing") - without feeling cheated!!! All in all, I would actually highly recommend Middletown Honda to anyone, and only wish I lived closer so I could drop in for every ding or rattle - Ha! Ha! Ha! So - those in power - give these guys some much deserved lunch! As a matter of fact, why don't you consider going whole hog and giving them each dinner (with their wives/husband/significant other)!! They deserve it! Keeping it local, and all that....I even, most shockingly, did not feel taken advantage of in trading in my 2008 Royal Blue Honda Accord LX-P. My mom and I went to Middletown Honda to take a look around and test drive some cars mothers day weekend. We were approached by a very friendly and personably sales man named Ed Folkl. He took his time with us and really made us feel comfortable with making this big decision. We ended up driving away with two brand new Hondas. Ed even took the time out of his day to call a few days later to see how I was liking my brand new civic. This was my 4rth Honda but the first one that I could get all on my own. A majority of the time, Mike Carlock has been my service advisor. He is always friendly, efficient, helpful and patient when I've been in for service. I'm usually in for regular maintenance and know what I want done. He'll advise me of recommeded scheduled maintenance based on my mileage;if I have a question about any suggested service, he is knowledgeable about it and explains it to me in easy to understand terms, yet does not pressure me into more than I want or need done at the time. I appreciate that. He'll also go out of his way to accomodate my last-minute service request when I failed to plan ahead and schedule an appointment. I recall one time that I was there for service when numerous customers were waiting to be checked in. The shop was short-handed that day; apparently some staff had called in sick. One woman was extremely upset about the wait and very rude and unrulely. Mike waited on her and handled her very professionally as she continually, yelled, critized and vented her anger on him. He deserved a gold star that day! I try to get Mike to assist me whenever I'm in for service.Ray was our salesman for the last 2 Hondas that my husband and I purchased. Having owned 3 Hondas prior to our purchases, we pretty much knew what we wanted before we entered the showroom. We knew what we were willing to pay, and Ray did not pressure us to purchase more options that we wanted. He was very knowlegebale and worked hard to give us the best deals possible at the time. I like his style; if he had been pushy in trying to sell us more, we would have gone elsewhere. Ray still stays in contact with occassional emails, and comes to say Hello when I'm in the shop for service. We keep our cars for a long time - usually around 10 years. Last Accord was traded in with 280,000 miles; the one before that 297,000. My current one only has 130,000 miles so it will be a while. If I choose to stick with Honda for my next car when the time comes, I'll ask for Ray.

This is the 2nd Honda we have purchased from Middletown Honda and the 7th Honda we have owned not including our Honda lawn mower and weed whacker! Both times we have had the enormous pleasure of working with Art Anuszkiewicz. It was wonderful to be able to work with him again and after 4 years he still remembered every detail of our previous purchase. We were looking for a car for our daughter whose plans for college and her very important color choices were constantly changing. Throughout the whole process, that lasted several months, Art was accommodating, knowledgeable, extremely prompt in answering all our questions, and very patient providing us with numerous quotes as the monthly deals and specials kept changing. After the initial test drive everything was accomplished via email or phone call making the process much easier and less stressful. Art genuinely listens to you and makes recommendations based upon your needs. He never pushes or pressurizes you just gives you expert advice and the best deal he can right up front. Art managed to find the exact car we were looking for within our budget and we couldnt be happier. Hopefully when we return to Middletown Honda to buy our next Honda, as we certainly will, Art will still be there to help us again! I was undecided on the model or whether I wanted a new or used vehicle. Scott was very knowledgeable about both vehicles. Despite our limited budget in these challenging economic times, we needed to replace my wifes vehicle, which we had literally driven into the ground. A new car was out of the question, and my wife had spotted a used Honda Civic on the Middletown Honda website. Last Saturday we decided to visit the dealership to see the car. As we pulled out of the driveway my wife remarked, Are you ready to be pressured by the salesman? to which I grimly replied, No. We arrived at Middletown Honda and entered the showroom to inquire about the vehicle. Surprisingly, no salesperson approached us as we looked at the cars on display. That was a relief. When we finished looking, we approached a salesperson who immediately asked if he could be of any assistance. We then had the pleasure of meeting Art Anuszkiewicz, whose pleasant and professional demeanor made us feel very comfortable as we explained the reason for our visit. Mr. Anuszkiewicz took us to see the advertised vehicle and actually gave us some tips on what to look for when purchasing a used car. Although this was the very first place we visited and the very first car we looked at, it seemed adequate for our needs. We returned to the showroom to work out the numbers. After arriving at a price, we asked Mr. Anuszkiewicz the cost of a new Civic. He gladly went over the numbers, and immediately began to discount the price wherever he could. At no point did we resort to haggling because we both felt that Art was doing everything in his power to give us the best deal possible. We were very pleased, as well as surprised, with the price we received. We then accompanied Art back out to the lot to see the vehicles that were available. Incredibly, one was a color my wife loved, and after a test drive we were sold. The following is primarily the reason I am writing this review. While working with Mr. Anuszkiewicz, I realized that even though I was in the middle of a major decision, as well as a major purchase, at no point was I apprehensive or nervous. I believe the comfort I experienced during the transaction was due to the confidence I developed in Mr. Anuszkiewicz, and the belief that he was doing all he could to get us the best deal, without us even having to ask. We would like to thank Middletown Honda, Mr. Anuszkiewicz, and also, Joe Cerreta, for making the ordeal of replacing our old vehicle such an easy and enjoyable experience. We still can not believe how smoothly everything went. I recommend Middletown Honda and Art Anuszkiewicz to anyone looking for a vehicle, and it will be my first stop when the time comes to replace my car. Michael & Donna

I found the entire service experience to be a pleasure. Mr. Carlock greeted me when I arrived. He listened to the concerns I had about my car and asked questions to make sure everything was covered. Since the service was expected to take two hours Mr. Carlock arranged for a free shuttle to take me to the local mall. He called me when the service was done and the shuttle brought me back. Every time I take my car to be serviced, it is a great experience. They do what is necessary, and if I don't know, they tell me. But they never look to do more than what's needed. In other words, they look out for my car--and they look out for my wallet. Plus, they're work is always great! I never have to worry that it's been fixed incorrectly. And they get me in--and get me out. Always, with a carwash and a smile.Most important, they're always there when I need them. I put 150 miles or more on my little Civic every day, and with Middletown Honda taking care of my care, I never worry that the car will break down because of something that should have been repaired. When I take the car in the shop, they check everything! Everything!Oh, and by the way, I bought my car here, too. And the sales people were just as great.I guess it's the trickle down theory--because the owners are pretty great guys, too.I love this place--and so does my Honda.

I went to many dealers before I bought my car here. I live in Jersey City but still bought here and bring my car here because it is the best experience I have had with a car dealer.(I am 50 and this is my 5th car!). I live closer to Manhattan, Hudson Honda and Metro Honda and I will only come to Middletown Honda even with the higher gas prices and needing to travel about 70 miles. The service is great, the people on the floor are lovely and do not pressure you to buy a new car(as one of the places in NJ did even though I had just bought mine and it was in for servicing). The waiting area is lovely vs. having to stand at one of the New Jersey shops I went to. They take you to and from a mall so you can use your time feeding the economy. I feel like they care about me and my car. AND..the complimentary car wash was great this time!!!!When you care about your car and the maintenance of your car you want to be in the hands of people who care about the same things as well as your comfort and loyalty. I would tell anyone interested in buying a Honda to come to Middletown Honda!

I first called about the car because i saw it on line and Ron answered. 2004 Honda Element $9993 and 27 miles.Wrong it actually has 88000 miles. Came in next day Joe was right at the door couldn't find my name because Ron spelled it wrong but, Joe was great.Test drove the car decided to go forward with purchase. Met with Sean for credit signing who also was great and comical,(but i didn't get my free oil change)But i did get extra car protection and clear coat.We now own our fourth element. Would we be back? When I was last there, John gave me excellent service-I needed to be out by a certain time and he kept me up to date on what was going on and helped make sure everything was completed as quick as possible:) On a previous occassion, I came at closing on a holiday weekend with a branch stuck underneath my car. Everyone had left already. Jose was on his way out however, he went outsode and spent about 15 minutes until the branch was out of the car. He had to go underneath and pull it out (this was not an easy task). I cannot explain how thankful I was that he helped me!!!! After going to other dealers, I went to Middletown Honda and sppoke with Conrad Miller. Conrad heard what I was saying and treated me with respect. He is the first sales person that I trust. before Conrad I thought all sales reps were not to be trusted. I have been a customer of Middletown Honda since 1996. The service and professionalism displayed by dealership employess is excellent. I have purchased 3 new vehicles from over the last 15 years, which are maintained by the service shop. I have never had any concerns over the quality of service performed on each auto. I purchased my first vehicle from Middletown Honda about 5 years ago, a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer. I had alot of issues with it, 'transmission slip' issues to be exact. Luckily, I totaled it (a tree jumped out of the woods and bit the front end). Then, my 1999 Chevy Tracker (which no one in their right mind would take as a trade-in) finally bit the big one in December 2010. I decided to give Middletown Honda another shot, but this time I was not going used, I went new and purchased a 2010 Civic. Ed (on the advice of Conrad) was told to 'take care of me' after the last mishap with a different manufacturer, and he did. Good job guys, you'll get my business again when I come in this summer to trade up!

Ed was very personable and easy to get along with. He made it a very pleasurable experience and it seemed more like a personal visit than a business venture for me. He seemed to know everything about the cars I took a liking to, 3 different Honda models, without having to tell me to hold on and look into things. I WENT TO MIDDLETOWN HONDA BECAUSE I WAS LOOKING TO GET OUT OF MY CURRENT LEASE WITH CHEVY. I WENT TO CHEVY EXPECTING GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, SINCE I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN IN FANTASTIC STANDING WITH THEM, HOWEVER, I WAS TREATED LIKE MY BUSINESS DIDN'T MATTER AT ALL. I CAME TO MTOWN HONDA AND THE SECOND I WALKED IN THE DOOR WAS A 200% DIFFERENCE. ANDY WAS STANDING RIGHT AT THE DOOR TO GREET ME. AFTER EXPLAINING TO HIM MY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, ALL HE DID WAS LISTEN AND WAS NEVER PUSHY AND HE NEVER TRIED TO HARD-SELL ME. THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE WAS FANTASTIC AND EVEN I DIDN'T BUY A CAR, I WOULD HAVE STILL BEEN EXTREMELY SATISFIED WITH THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE.

Michael Carlock is an excellent service adviser that is both very knowledgeable and helpful. He always treats you with respect and tries to get you the best deal he possibly can. Middletown Honda is a good overall dealership, Ray Irizarry is a great car salesmen, and I have even steered my extended family to Middletown over the other Honda car dealerships in the area.

I have used this dealership before for my 2008 accord but I never knew they sold so many accessories like Bluetooth and iPod kits. A simple conversation with the assistant service manager helped me combine everything I was looking for in one quick visit. I was able to have it installed while i waited and he showed me how to use the functions of the unit. The display in the waiting area is kind of bland and boring but this gentleman (jose) Was able to show me what they offered and gave me a demo of his own Bluetooth/iPod kit. All dealership staff should be this helpful and accommodating! Kudos to Jose!

I came in with a few issues with my CRV and Michael listened to every concern of mine. He advised me of what my options for the various services my car could use at the moment. Mike kept me informed of all of the findings and what the cost could be also the urgency of getting each issue corrected over time. He understood in these tough economical times, not all issues could be corrected at this time and advised me of my next service option that could address the minor issues. All in all I was very pleased with the communication, friendliness and sensitivity. He was not pushy at all which made for an even more pleasent experience. My car is running great and I feel safe driving again.
