It's been 13 yrs since I purchased a car and I wouldn't have chosen a different place to go. Extremely friendly, professional, and their willingness to help find the right vehicle was beyond amazing. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a new or a "new to you" vehicle. I can't say enough positive things about the staff and company! Midwest Auto is the best place to buy a car. I have bad credit and if it wasn't for Ramone and Kevin Lowe working as hard as they did to get me my beautiful car that i so desperately needed, i don't know what i would have done. I called ahead to let them know I was coming and wanted to test drive a car. I drove 40 miles there. I arrived and the car was running and looked ready to go. I asked to drive it and the salesman said you can't. I drove it and it almost stranded me so you can't drive it. ....... Well gees man. He didn't even offer an apology.

I came in to Midwest Auto Store last week to see if i could get in a newer car. Kevin Lowe was my salesman and was super nice and vary helpful. Kevin made sure to get me in something i would like not just what the bank would give me. My credit is right on the line of beeing good so it was harder for them to find a lender but they stuck with it and got me in a car the same day and i love my new car.

I would definitely not recommend this dealership to anyone. The salesman and finance manager we worked with were very shady and dishonest. The place smelled like a dumpster soon as we opened the door, and the process was long and drawn out. Thank god things didn't work so we didn't get ripped off. I understand you make 120 sales a month apparently, but at least you can be more considerate and honest, not worrying making another buck.

My past experience with buying a vehicle has been mostly terrifying to say the least. You spend hours in a chair only to buy a car and pay more for it than it was worth new. I did not experience this at Midwest Auto. The atmosphere is very calming and each staff member helped each other as a team. Kevin Lowe was my salesman and let me just say he is a very honest person and trust me that is hard to find when your buying a car. This place was terrible. I went in very interested in a car. NO ONE CAME OUT TO HELP ME! I had to go in and find someone. Then I bought the car and it needed Ohio inspection and approval. They instructed me that they would take care of it along with a burnt out turn signal and to come back in the pm the next day and it would be done. Went back, they didn't do the inspection and no turn signal. I had to wait FOR 3 HOURS for them to install the bulb (wouldn't pass inspection without). Then I had to take it and pay for the inspection myself. I will never go back here. I was stuck there for 3 hours and the staff wasn't great either. STAY AWAY!!!

We dealt with Kevin and he was fantastic. We came in on a Friday night for a test drive and really liked the car but wanted to see it in the daylight. We told Kevin that and he said that was no problem. He said to give him a call in the morning and he would have the car started and warmed up for us when we got there. Took it out for another test drive and came back and he worked with us on our trade-in and got the price right where we wanted it. Great service at Midwest Auto Store. The store was clean and they offered refreshments while we waited. Our sales guy, Kevin, was very friendly and helped us in a "no-pressure" manner. The vehicle we bought was very clean during the test drive and they cleaned it up even more when we bought it. Kevin handed us $40 to put in the tank since it was on empty. I contacted Midwest concerning a 2007 Dodge truck via e-mail and got a return call from a salesman who asked me to come take a test drive. I tried to explain that I live an hour and a half away and am evaluating between three trucks all different directions from my home. I prefer to get the deal figured out ahead of time. Some small price or service concessions also make me feel appreciated but this truck was on the top of my buying list so I didn't need much to go ahead and do the deal. I think at that point the salesman decided I wasn't a buyer because he started saying he wanted copies of two years tax returns and pay stubs and independent employment verification, license, and proof of insurance before we could move ahead. I told him that i'm an 800 credit rating and could buy truck with cash if I choose, this will be a filth vehicle for my house just to pull a horse trailer. The salesman was very direct in insisting that nothing could or would be done and they would decide if i was their type of buyer if and when i come in. when I again asked for the manager he told me that he spoke with the manager alone and they both decided he had done a good job of managing the situation and that I should shop elsewhere. If you like this arrogant and aloof attitude and the feeling that your business means nothing to the people you plan to spend thousands of dollars with then this is the dealership for you. Consider this; the service is always best "before" the sale, what would it be like if I had a problem with the truck after the sale or a problem with the bank or anything after the sale and needed their support or service?

My Aunt and I came in with a few cars in mind we viewed on Midwestautostore.com. I gave Kevin(Lowe) our list of cars, he was very quick to pull the cars up and had them ready for test drives! A week later we came back and bought cars for each of us! The over all Customer Service was perfect, NO pressure NO haggling at all. I first got there at opening looking over the truck I was interested in and Kevin the sales rep said it was sold . My heart fell into my boots. A fellow from Michigan was coming in to buy it. We left our number and told Kevin if something happen to give us a call we was going to grab a bite to eat .An hour or so went by and I texted Kevin and the Michigan buyer had decided it wasn't what he needed. If you need a used car, this is the place to go. We had a great experience buying a 2012 Jetta. Robert (the Older gentleman) was our sales man. He was helpful, attentive, and made the buying process a breeze. We needed a car for my daughter and after months of research and visiting various dealerships looking for a Jetta we finally found Midwest Auto. The Midwest Auto Store is about an hour and a half drive from my home. When we arrived we were greeted by Robert. We told him we were looking at the Black Jetta and he put a plate on the car and we were off. This was the only car we drove. Upon returning to the dealership, there was very little negotiation as the price was fair, and any of our comments were taken seriously and addressed. We feel and believe that we paid a fair price for the Jetta. They accepted our check and didn't give us a hassle even though it was an out of state check. At no time during the entire process did we feel pressured or treated unfairly and it was easiest car purchase we ever made. We felt welcomed by all the staff, even ones that weren't directly working with us. . Each staff member was friendly, down to earth and professional . The automobiles and prices were below what we had priced at other locations. They use a direct sales technique, thus making it easier and more pleasant to do business with them. Went to Midwest Auto in Florence, Ky on a recommendation from my daughter who had purchased a car from them about a year ago. After losing my car in an accident and needing to replace my vehicle pretty quickly I decided to give them a try. My husband and I were met on the lot by Robert (the older gentleman) who gave us keys to the vehicle we were interested in and told to be safe. When we returned with vehicle there was no haggling or hassle. Car was exceptionally clean and any concerns we might have had we're taken care of before we purchased vehicle. Purchase went just as smooth as the rest of our experience and I would highly recommend them to both family and friends.

I didn't expect the experience that I received at the Midwest Auto Store. First, this is not your typical auto dealer. With that being said, there is no high pressure sales tactics, no tricky finance schemes, a fair price for the vehicle you are trying to purchase and best of all, a fair price for your trade-in (unlike most dealers!!!). Now, if you want to experience the same, please visit, Robert "The Older Gentleman", at the Midwest Auto Store who sold me a 2005 Buick Rendezvous, which made my fiancee, Ronda, very happy!!!!! Plus, the next time, I need a vehicle, I will look first at the Midwest Auto Store to satisfy my needs, instead of buying new, and once again have Robert, "The Older Gentleman" as my salesman!!!!!

We called about a week before we went to look at a vehicle. We ere assured no major accident. Vehicle pics did not display all the minor interior damage. They agreed to match price shied car check not car fax. Long story short we should have taken car to be checked before purchase. Front end reck with major damage and thousand in repairs within 3 wks and extended warrantee is a must purchase but be carful doesn't always pay if issue happens too soon. Don't trust their word!!! Buyer beware. Don't sign until vehicle is ready to take home.

I found my dream car here, and got it for an extremely fair price. Although i had some issues with banks and payment, my sales rep Skip was there with me from start to finish no matter how often i bugged him. Overall had a very pleasant experience once we determined that the payment problem was a simple banking error. A month in and i still smile every time i get into my car. I was shopping for a car for my daughter and after hours of research I had settled on two cars that just happened to be at the same dealership. The Midwest Auto Store is about a two-hour drive from my home, but I called to verify the vehicles availability and my wife and I were on our way. When I got there was a little snow on the lot but I was greeted by Coach Mike and he immediately offered me something to drink and I sat down. I mentioned to him that we spoke on the phone earlier and he took me out to the first vehicle that I wanted to look at. It was already warmed-up (it was very cold that day), he put a plate on the car and my wife and I were off. After driving it for a while we returned and drove the next vehicle on our wish list. The car was in excellent condition and very, very clean. This was the car that I eventually chose to buy (2005 Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible). Upon returning to the dealership, the negotiation started but was never adversarial and in the end I feel and believe that I paid a fair price for the specific car that I chose. Since I had planned on paying cash for the first car I drove I didnt have enough in hand to pay the difference in the purchase price. Joe (great finance guy) and MJ (owner) went out of their way to work with their credit card company and my bank so I could pay the rest with my check card out of my account even though it was much higher than the typical amount that they accepted. At no time during the entire process was I pressured or treated unfairly and it was as transparent a car purchase as I have ever made. I would absolutely return to Midwest Auto Store to make another purchase and I would recommend them to anyone. Coach Mike, Joe, and MJ made the entire experience very easy and enjoyable. They even jumped my wifes car when she ran down the battery in the parking lot! Bottom line, great people, incredible value, and super customer service.

I went to Midwest after going to Jeff Wyler Honda in Frankfort. Both had a 2011 Honda Ridgeline for sale. The salesman at Wyler took me on a 2 min drive that he dictated the whole time. When I got back, I had the typical "How can we get you into this car today" type of thing from a pushy sales manager. I had done my research on this truck and even knew it had been in a wreck on the front. The sales manager gave the lines of "the price is what it is and we cant talk numbers till you commit. Cue me leaving the dealership. At Midwest, I met with Robert, we talked for a full 15 minutes on what my needs were before anything else. He let me take the Ridgeline and a Tundra for a test drive by myself with the line of "turn right on that road there and see what you think... see you later!" That got my interest in him and the dealership as a whole. When I decided on the Ridgeline, the pricing process was normal with the back and forth, but Robert was truly on my side explaining why or why the price would or would not work. He even got me more for my trade in than I asked for. Aces! I bought the Ridgeline and am very happy with it and would refer anyone in the area to at least check them out.

This was my first buying experience and now I know where not to shop for another vehicle. It was pretty lousy service but I stuck through the process and still bought a truck. Within 3 months I had already paid 500 dollars and after owning it exactly 4 months, I found out I had to get over 1000 more dollars in repairs. The truck was a 2004 and when I got it home there was no oil, so within first week I had to put some in it. Really disappointed in the entire experience.

We found their Toyota Vensa on cars.com. It got on our short list of cars we considered. It was listed a couple thousand less than comparable used Vensas in local Greater Cincinnati. So once we got there, Joe warmly greeted us, then got the Vensa ready for the test drive. After the test drive we applied for financing then went home. The next day, Joe let use know our financing options. By the weekend, we came over to sign our documents and drove off in a great 2009 Toyota Vensa. Couldn't be happier.

My husband, daughter and I visited Midwest Auto on 25 July 2013 to look at a VW Jetta. The salesman leaned against a car the majority of the time we were looking at it and could not answer any questions. He simply acted as if he was not interested in selling a car that day. My husband started the VW Jetta we initially came to look at and turned on the air conditioner in the process. The air never turned cold. My husband asked the salesman what the problem was with the air and he shrugged his shoulders and said, "I don't know," while continuing to lean against the car. The car has been at Midwest Auto for quite awhile, therefore, I would think that the salesman should know what the issue was with the AC. We then started looking at another VW Jetta right beside it, which was higher in price, but seemed to be in better condition. We took it on a test drive and actually liked the car, however when we returned to the lot, my husband looked under the steering column toward the floor board and noticed that a metal bar that was present was rusted, which raised a red flag since we thought it may have suffered some type of water damage that somehow did not make it on the Carfax report. The salesman did wake up when we voiced concern of water damage and stated that it would have definitely been on the Carfax report, however, when we mentioned that the Carfax report stated that the car had been in an accident and had structural damage he downplayed it by saying that the reports can sometime make a problem seem worse than it is. Though, we did see a good-sized gap in the inside portion of the trunk where it had been replaced due to the rear impact it suffered. Due to these issues my husband asked the salesman if he had any authority to negotiate price and he stated that they do not change prices. My husband gave him his card and told him that we already had a check in hand since we had been approved for a loan and told him to call if the manager was willing to consider lowering the price. Since Carfax has a guarantee that they will buy the car back if it was discovered that it had suffered water damage we would consider purchasing it. Apparently, the manager was not interested. We ended up purchasing a VW Jetta in excellent condition from Kerry Volkswagen at the tent sale they were having that day and drove my daughter's first car back to Indianapolis.

Being a single mother I was having trouble finding a dependable used car that would fit my budget. I had been to multiple dealerships and nobody would even try to find anything within my budget due to a bankruptcy sitting on my credit report. The sales associate was very polite and was quick to get the keys to whatever vehicle I chose to test drive. When I did find the vehicle I wanted I noticed a couple of minor things. Once it was brought to their attention they agreed to fix whatever with no questions asked. When discussing payment arrangements and what I could afford the sales associate got my payments exactly where I needed them to be along with an awesome interest rate to boot. I was so extremely happy with everything during my buying experience and can honestly say this was the best experience I have ever had with any kind of dealership.

I recently traded in my 2004 Jeep Liberty for a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta. The service I got while at Midwest Auto Store was outstanding. They got the keys immediately for me to take it on a test drive. Once I got back, I knew I wanted the car and Brad sat with us for over an hour after closing to get me the car that day. They paid for my car to get inspected and also checked the tire pressure a week after I had taken the car home. I would recommend that anybody come check Midwest Auto Store out. They have great staff and the best deals around.

Buyer Beware. I recently test drove a 2004 Hyundai Sonata (maroon) at the Midwest Auto Store. This is a very nice looking car and the engine runs good. Unfortunately, after taking the car to a very experienced mechanic for an inspection, I began to suspect that this car has had water damage. I had noticed a fair amount of rust in the interior of the car (the radio was out initially when I drove it, later replaced). Also the outer door handles looked rusty. There was an intermittent electronic problem with the anti-theft feature on the car which was activated and deactivated by pushing the door lock button. The mechanic told me there was obvious damage to the front wheel wells. This is not normal. 25% of the wheel well on both sides was ripped away. The under carriage of the car appears weathered, he said. I also noticed an unusual amount of rust when I took a glance at the car on a lift. When I got home I reread my Auto Check file and found out that the car was in Staten Island NY prior to being repossessed 3/19/2013 in VA. It was then sold at an auction in May 2013. I suspect this car was in a flood possibly during hurricane Sandy in October of 2012. Something has happened to create so much rust. Electronic problems are often associated with water damage. What really bothers me is that the initial salesman l talked with was comparing this car to other 2004 Sonatas on the market. He said this is a good price for a car with 89,000 miles. Yes, it would be a good price if the body of the car was not water damaged!! The engine of this car has been entirely cleaned. I wonder what it looked like when they bought it at the auction! Also, the interior was missing the middle arm rest or top to the storage compartment. Possibly it had mildew on it or was water damaged . I find this kind of deception in business to be unethical. I cannot prove it but it appears to be the case.

We bought our VW Rabbit few weeks ago and were impressed with the entire experience. I took the vehicle for alignment afterward(they don't perform alignment at Midwest Auto Store) and the mechanic was trying to cheat out additional repairs, then I called Midwest Auto Store complaining that these items were not serviced prior to purchase. I was invited to come back and we went through the items one by one and they showed me the actual condition and MJ recommended that I get a third party opinion. So, I took to VW and they mostly agreed with Midwest, I guess the other place wanted all the $$$$$$ for uneeded repairs. We took out a 2004 Ford Explorer for a test drive & the vehicle ran terrible off the bat & then flat broke down on us not 1/4 mile from the dealer & would not start at all. The small dealers get these vehicles from the auction & then just throw them out on the lot without even checking them out. The vehicle stalled on the salesman just trying to bring it around to the front door for the test drive.

This dealership is just fantastic. I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking to buy a car used or new. I did get the best service and advice. All the people I dealt with were honest and professional. I really did not have to do anything once I found the car that I liked, I checked to make sure I am getting a good deal which I did, they took over and did it all. I drove away a happy man. The owner was great.

I shopped around and compared their value and it came out very competitive. What I like the most is the one low price no haggle policy and straight forward dealing with no games.

I have had multiple dealings with Midwest Auto Store now and still feel confident with them for their service and detailing. Winter Special on my Toyota Pick Up. This was the first time using them (found out about them for a detailing Groupon) and was very happy with they way they worked with my schedule even gave me a lift home and back. Used the Groupon on my wife's 2005 Tahoe. We have had it since brand new and it was showing signs of being the family hauler. Worked with MJ and Trevin on everything I was concerned about and ended up asking for them to do more detailing services to get the results over what the Groupon offered. MJ essentially traded services in the packages so I wouldn't waste money. While there found out the are a dealer for WeatherTech floor mats. Ordered a pair for the from and am in love with them, (time to order the middle row to protect from kids) even the wife isn't complaining about the price I paid for them now as she understands the value after having them in. Last visit was to diagnose a check engine light that came on while coming through the cut in the hill. Come to find out it was my down-flow O2 sensor. They found the right part and haggled the price down for me (California emissions vehicle). Truck is running so much smoother now...must have been going out for awhile now. MJ and Trevin do a great job for me.

I recently purchased a truck from Midwest auto store in florence. I didn't try to negotiate a lower price, and purchased the truck at asking price. The truck didn't come with a spare tire, sales person said he would get one for me. I was also told that they would take care of getting the tags and getting the taxes paid, my temporary tag was due to expire within the week and I still had no license plates, or had received a call. I finally called the dealership, and was told that I would be contacted and a plate would be mailed. I called two days later, because I still had not been contacted. Then I was told, I would have to come pick up the plate and that I would have to pay for a spare tire for the truck. Now after having the truck 2 months, it shakes when I drive it and I bought 4 new tires and had it aligned, and it still shakes. More than I bargained for this purchase. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone.

I wish I had started at this place, instead of it being my third dealership of my day. I left the first two "high pressure" dealerships with a nasty taste in my mouth. Dealing with the owner (I believe he goes by MJ) and a sales guy named Trevin (I hope I spelled that right) were a breath of fresh air. Zero pressure and they could answer all the questions I had for them. I asked to see two different Civics, which Trevin could quickly find and bring to the front. Both salespeople seemed more like "carnuts" than smooth operators. They knew their cars and their inventory, and I never got any of that normal used car runaround that I had gotten earlier from the bad dealerships. Driving away with the contract in hand, I felt relieved and contented that I had gotten a fair deal on a solid car. I immediately called my parents and recommended the place, and I will recommend the dealership to any friend or coworker who is thinking about a quality used car.
