I had come in for a scheduled service and was greeted by Nick and Lance . I elected to wait while they performed the service. Nick came out to the waiting area about an hour later and offered me a service loaner. My muffler had an issue and he didn't want me to be sitting around a few more hours. I accepted and did a few errands and had lunch. I returned and everything was spot on. I realized that every time I've come there, it's been smooth sailing and painless. It's refreshing to find a service facility at this high level. Keep up the great work!

I dropped my car off for what I expected to be a big problem. Graham took excellent care of me and offered me a loaner. I received a phone call a few hours later saying they found the problem and fixed it. They even did a program update I didn't expect. Everything was covered under warranty. My car was clean and ready to go. I'm going back here for everything!!

I purchased my Mini at a used car lot 8 months ago. It had low mileage, 34,000 and the clutch needed to be replaced. My maintenance warranty had just ended. This sounds like a bad story, but wait. Mini of Peabody contacted the factory and received a one time good will warranty to cover the entire job and they included a number of other services and updated my spark plugs too! We will be purchasing our next Mini there.

I call up Mini of Peabody about an advertisement they had listed for a GTI for sale. When I call the number listed on the website the girl answer the phone, "hi." Thats it. I say hello back, she then again is like, "Hi." lol. I finally get her to clarify that I am in fact calling mini of Peabody and get transfered to the sales department where a gentleman answers the phone at least acknowledging where he works but with no more friendliness than the girl.

Every car before my MINI, I was afraid I was getting ripped off when I took it in for service. MINI of Peabody is trustworthy and professional when it comes to repairs and service. I bought my first Mini Cooper in 2003 from Mini of Peabody. The buying experience and subsequent service experience were both stellar. After 13 years and 253,000 great miles in that Cooper, I've just replaced it with a 2013 Coupe S. Brought it to Peabody with a faulty blower and they not only took care to make sure that was fixed, they also replaced a second part when they discovered that it wasn't performing to spec. You can count on Peabody to take every step in making sure your MINI experience is as optimal as possible. And MANY of the people I first dealt with in 2003 are still there 13 years later. That says a lot.

Everytime i come to this dealership, i feel like home. the staff makes a really good job making sure of that. the quality of service offered here is none in comparison as the one in Boston for example. i dont know if it is the demographics, but the people in Boston really need to look at the costumer service model that peabody employs. The guys a peabody do everything they can to accommodate your needs and make sure that you are taken care of at the end of the day. Great job guys!!

Last week I bought a MINI Countryman S ALL4. I traveled 20 miles to this dealer rather than the one 2 miles away for better selection and, as it turned out, service. Adnan, salesperson, and Kevin, sales manager, were thorough, straightforward, and responsive. They went out of their way to get a good price for my trade-in. No pressure to get extra add-ons at time of sale. Helpful in explaining car's features. All in all, a much better car-buying experience than most.

Mike Ciano was our Sales Rep and he was EXCELLENT! He spent over 3 hours with us on a Saturday, going over all the different options available, showing us a range of equipped mini's and never once rushed or pressured us. Since the number of options seemed overwhelming with our first mini purchase, we couldn't come to a decision that day, so Mike continued to search for cars with the specific options we wanted throughout the week; he followed up with numerous emails and answered all of our questions. From start to finish, Mike exuded a high degree of knowledge, patience and professionalism and ultimately, he found us exactly what we were looking for. On the day we picked up our mini, Mike even spent another couple hours with us going over all the functions of the car and we left fully informed of everything. I would send anyone I know to Mike and cannot say enough great things about him. You can tell he truly cares and enjoys what he does, and that makes all the difference!

One of my pet peeves with most dealers is they have you sit around forever waiting to get the right car "talk to my manager" or other hassles. In my searching, I walked out of two different dealerships because of this failure to treat my time as valuable. Mini of Peabody did none of these shenanigans. They were awesome.

I was in just after Thanksgiving to search for my absolute first car ever! (Congratulations, me!) I had my boyfriend, and my trusted car expert best friend with me throughout the whole process, not that I needed them! I searched around for a while, and was about to settle for a Toyota or Honda, when my boyfriend reminded me "YOLO." I have wanted a Mini Cooper since I was a little girl. Why not?!I happened upon Mini of Peabody somewhere in my search, and sent a few very prompt, helpful emails with Wayne. I have to say, he is the most efficient, knowledgeable, FRIENDLY, and trustworthy salesman you could ever hope for. He was patient with me, and even drove my car down the road to a place of my choosing for a pre-buy inspection. He made sure the car was completely fixed and shiny and like-new before I drove it off the lot. Wayne was so helpful, and so far, I absolutely LOVE my car. He made sure I was very confident in my purchase, and is always a text message or an email away. Once I signed the paperwork, he didn't disappear. Wayne is there when you need him, even though he is surely drowning in clients eager for his 5-star customer service!! For right now, my little Chili Red 2008 is the absolute perfect fit for me. I could not be happier! Thank you so much, Wayne!

Overall Getting a new car can be stressful, thankfully it wasn't for me. Ryan Turner was my sales guy and did a great job, no BS. Yes you want the most for a trade in, and want to pay as little as possible, getting to a comprimise with the dealer's price. Ryan was a straight shooter, and I would deal with him again if I bought another mini. no pressure to buy the extras. Ever see "Fargo" where the customer filps out over the "tru-coat" getting spring on him? nothing like that here, want a Mini, get it from these guys.

I was looking for a used convertible. I saw a 2006 Mini Cooper S sitting outside the dealership. I went in and talked to Wayne Altavilla.Wayne and the rest of the staff were very friendly. The transaction was very easy. I was treated fairly on both the price of the car and the price for my trade. Financing was effortless.The dealership did about $2000 worth of work to the car after we made the deal. They did not charge me for this work. Several days after I bought the car the battery died. The dealership took the car in on a Sunday morning, gave me a loaner, and replaced the battery at no charge.I have been back for service one more time. The receptionist, the service writer, and the rest of the staff were great. Service was preformed quickly while I waited. The waiting areas are comfortable and stocked with drinks and snacks. Wifi is availableI would recommend Mini of Peabody and Wayne Altavilla

Although the $100 Mini of Peabody offers for every referral is tempting, I cannot in good conscience recommend this dealership. There are countless dealerships in the area, go to any of them or buy from craigslist or ebay! The customer service here is atrocious. I recently purchased a 2013 Mini and told my salesman, Luis, that I worked for the government and would be stationed in Europe starting in April, which is why I wanted the Mini because its practical for Europe. Despite stating this, neither Luis nor the finance staff thought it important to tell me that Mini would not let me take the car abroad if I still owed money. I have to refinance through USAA because they will allow me to take the car overseas. When I told Luis I was upset that I wasnt told this initially he replied that I never said I planned to take the car with me because otherwise he wouldnt have recommended I finance through Mini or that I even buy the car. His response is a lie. We had conversations about why I thought the car was good for Europe and yet he didnt say anything. Unless he didnt listen to anything I said, theres no way he didnt know I was taking the car abroad. He further told me, Common sense dictates that [I] had all the details worked out about my move to Europe and whether I could bring the car. As nice as it is to not only be lied to, but to also have the salesman question my level of intelligence, which is the basis for sound customer service, I would think common sense should dictate that when I say I want to bring my car abroad, and the salesman knows it violates the loan agreement, I should be told. Further, Luis made no attempt to rectify the situation no offer of lets look into other financing options he just lied and insulted my lack of common sense. I reached out to the sales manager who apologized for the inconvenience and asked to speak to me about it over the phone the next day. I gave him my number and available times; I also said I could call him if it would be more convenient and to let me know. I received no response and no phone call the kind of stellar customer service one expects after purchasing a $20,000+ car.I cant speak for all the salespeople, but I had a horrible experience. I was misled, lied to, and then ignored. I recognize my situation doesnt apply to many people, but car buying can be stressful enough as is without having to worry whether the salesman is even remotely concerned about your interests after you sign the loan. Again, they were very nice while I was buying the car, but once I signed the loan the wheels pretty much fell off the customer service wagon. If you dont care about customer service or being treated with respect then I suppose its fine to go here. Personally, I do not recommend buying a car from this dealership and if you do I hope for your sake nothing goes wrong because then youre screwed.

I went to several used car dealerships looking for a cooper s in my price range, but couldn't find the right one or a salesperson that knew anything about the car. Went to MINI of Bedford (NH) where the staff knew their product, but didn't have the car I was looking for. The MINI dealer website put me on to MINI of Peabody and the online inventory suggested that there might be a car for me there. Turns out there was.Wayne was a top-notch sales person from the beginning. He had the answers to all my questions and, since his personal car is a MINI, Wayne had more insider knowledge than any other sales person I talked to. Wayne really saved me on the financing. I had planned to go through a credit union with a co-signer but their offer turned out to be not as good as I'd hoped. Wayne processed my app super quick and offered better terms than I could have expected. Awesome.I just picked up the car today. Loving every minute. Big thanks to Wayne.

It's rare when you have a dealer that consistently does everything right. The guys at MINI of Peabody made buying a new car so fun and easy that I found myself stopping by there whenever I was in the neighborhood just to say hi. I walked into the dealership interested in a Mini, but not sure. After spending time with Luis, I was won over to the brand due to his extensive knowledge about the cars. He was easy to deal with, and not the least bit pressuring. I ended up buying the car because I was so excited about and loved the car....Luis didn't badger me into buying a Mini Cooper S Countryman All4, he just sold me on the car and let me take my time. We are thrilled with our new Mini Countryman and Wayne provided expert, valuable, low-key advice on our purchasing options (e.g., various models, options within a model). We are not ones to make rapid decisions and Wayne was patient and supportive as we worked through the process of deciding which car and which dealership to choose. This is the third Mini I have purchased and the second from Mini of Peabody. Both Luis and Brig did a gtreat job together, They worked with me through my indecision on whether to buy or wait for a 2013. They gave me an good price on my trade in and gave me all the time I wanted on a test drive. In fact they let me re-test the car the day before it was to be delivered because I wanted to make sure I was ok with a regualr Mini instead of thenTurbos I had had before. No high pressure sales (guess they didn't need to as this was the one of the last 2 or 3 Roadsters in New England). But the icing on the cake as that Luis delivered my car to my house on a Friday afternoon. We went through all the paperwork on my kitchen table and went through the car in my garage. Now what could be better than that... I'll tell you... the enjoyment I am getting out of driving my new Roadster... It's the best !!!

Went to test drive Mini Cooper Countryman. Everyone who we encountered working at this dealership was very friendly and very helpful. The amenities at the dealership were also exemplary, which is important if you are planning on using them for service and potentially waiting there for service to be completed. I am not ready to buy at this time, and I did not feel any sales pressure at all. Would definitely go back, and would consider purchasing from this dealership.

I bought a Mini in 2008 and had nothing but problems with it. The salesman told me there had been some damage to the vehicle because it was dropped when they took it off the boat. He "assured" me it was purely cosmetic. I had to replace the clutch almost immediately. Tires were never right and the tire moniter system constantly detected a problem. The service department told me that was because every time I hit a bump I was knocking air out of the tire. What, is that a joke?? The sunroof constantly squeaked. The heater didn't work right. Air conditioner was warm. The most recent problem was the timing chain that went at about 30,000 miles. I went to sales to look at a new one (convertible) and the salesman brushed me off because all he had were standard transmission vehicles and obviously in his opinion women are not interested in them. I finally traded it for an Audi and discovered in my carfax report that the "cosmetic" repairs Mini "revealed" to me included replacement of the frame rail and that the damage was caused by a front end impact accident with another vehicle. This dealership lies and their cars suck.

My friend and I went to visit the Peabody Mini dealership and we were extremely impressed. We were kindly greeted by Evans and he explained the ins and outs about everything Mini. He was an extremely nice guy and who knew everything about the cars and was honest and truthful. We each were able to test drive a mini and it was amazing. Then we asked Evans if he could take us for a test drive to show us what the car was capable of and boy were we impressed. Evans made me feel at home and relaxed, and did not once pressure me to buy a car. This was an extremely enjoyable experience and I highly recommend you ask for Evans if you decide to go to Peabody Mini... you will not regret it.

This dealership is one of the main reasons I decided on getting a MINI. I had never owned a MINI before but was curious and decided to check them out. I wasn't disappointed. MINI of Peabody is in a gleaming new building that reflects well on the cars that are on display. The staff are professional but informal and friendly, and they quickly responded to my interest in knowing more about MINIs and in test driving one. I had decided that same day to buy a new Coupe, in no small part due to their excellent support in my making a decision to go for a MINI. At no time did I feel pressure or assertive sales tactics, the staff addressed my questions honestly and directly. Probably more than any other car, there are a thousand possible variations and options when purchasing a MINI, so it's really important that a dealer assists in understanding your needs and interests in owning a MINI. It certainly is a car with personality, so this needs to be taken into account when finding the right fit. Once I decided to purchase a Coupe they had on the lot, the process leading to my driving away with the car couldn't have been easier. MINI of Peabody quickly and effortlessly put the sales documents together, they even picked me up after work to finish the sale and take ownership of the car! Even after the sale was completed the spent a lot of time patiently going over all aspects of operating the vehicle and in making sure I knew how all the vital functions worked. It was pretty obvious, by the time I drove away with the MINI, that the dealership regarded the sale as only the beginning of a long-term customer relationship as a MINI owner. I couldn't recommend MINI of Peabody highly enough, it's a sharp operation. And besides, is there any other car as fun to drive?

Best auto purchase experience to date and I have purchased over 25 vehicles in my life. From the moment I walked into the dealership to the delivery of my new Mini it has been a first rate, fair and fun experience. My sales advisor was Mark Foresta. He did a great job of helping me to spec th vehicle I wanted and Shepard my vehicle through the manufacturing and delivery process. When my Mini arrived he walked me through the vehicles important features and has done a great job of following up after the sale.Joel Mesiti handled the financing and made me aware of favorable programs that came into place after we reached our initial deal. Because of an original purchase/ delivery snafu (not of Mini of Peabody's doing) I got to work with Brig Currie, the sales manager. Everyone of these guys was professional, user friendly, honorable and efficient with my time. I cannot say enough about how great they have been to deal with. Their passion for their work comes through in each phase of the purchase transaction. I actually look forward to my first experience with the service department to see if the quality of the experience is maintained.If your in the market for a new Mini, Mini of Peabody should be top on your list.

I've been a customer at MINI of Peabody since 2003, when I purchased my first Cooper S. I live in Quincy, and at first balked at the distance to the dealer. After a very brief visit to the "other" MINI dealer in Boston where I was treated quite rudely, I met my motoring advisor Joel Mesiti. Little did I know this would be the beginning of the best relationship I have ever had with a car dealership - period. Everyone here is friendly, considerate, and ready to address any and every need you may have. Car ownership is never a perfect experience: Sometimes things go wrong mechanically, or you have an emergency arise (like a smashed drivers side door on a Saturday morning!) If I have ever run into a problem, these guys have taken care of it quickly and correctly. When that window glass was smashed, I was at the dealership an hour later (remember this is a Saturday) and they had my window replaced within an hour.gary King has a top notch service staff, and they too always take the time to be sure your MINI is repaired or serviced properly. The few times I had a service issue, gary immediately took any worries off the table, providing me with alternate transportation as long as I needed it. They even drove my car from Peabody to my workplace in Framingham after a repair was completed, as I had no way to get there to retrieve my car (the loaner was being used by my wife)I have just taken delivery of MINI number 5, a 2012 Cooper S Coupe. I placed my order with Joel in early July. The car was scheduled and built in late September, and delivered to me the second week of October. Joel had become the Finance Manager during this period (Congrats!) and he handed me over to Motoring Advisor Mark Foresta. Mark followed my car along the path from Factory to dealer, and kept me updated along the way. If I came up with a question about the operation of the car (like how the new H/K stereo worked) he would promptly email or call with an answer.When the car came in, he emailed a picture of it just off the truck! They had it ready for me a few days later, and I'm happily motoring! In fact, it was tough to get out from behind the wheel to take a moment to write this.Bottom line - MINI of Peabody have treated me like I am an extended member of the family. They share in the enthusiasm new car buyers have (especially MINI buyers - we are quite unique in my opinion!) and they genuinely take care of you from sale to service and sale again (you WILL be buying another MINI - trust me!)I cannot recommend them highly enough!

some weeks ago i went into mini of peabody to test drive the mini countryman base. after the sales guy mark asked me when i was buying and i responded in a month or two, he quickly handed me off to the new guy Sam Duff - it wasn't a good feeling but i went with it. between the new sales guy and the sales manager, i felt very pressured to take the deal presented since this is a deal according to them "no one gets". under great anxiety i gave a $1,000 deposit. after leaving the dealership another dealership contacted me (i had contacted them earlier)and said that they would beat the deal substantially...so i went to the other dealership (can you blame me?), the next day, and sure enough they did beat my deal by a lot. so i called sam at mini of peabody to give him the opportunity to at least match the better deal...he said he could do nothing (i didn't have to call but thought it was the considerate thing to do). i then told sam that i was canceling (this was the next day) the deal and wanted my deposit back. to make a long story short, a week of games ensued..no one at the dealership would return my calls (kevin sales advisor, kim finance dept, nor even her boss) and when i finally got sam on the phone he said "oh, you want your deposit back?", later in the week the sales manager said "it's our policy to refund deposits but what if i don't?" (i couldn't believe what i was hearing) i went on to tell him that he would be breaking the law and that i would call the attorney general's office, etc. anyway, after a week had gone by of games and my refund not processed, i called and headed to the dealership. brig seemed genuinely disappointed (understandably)and sam seemed okay (apologizing in the showroom for the deal not happening)...little did i know i was being setup as i followed sam to the corporate location in peabody where sam went in to get my refund, he tapped on my passenger side window, handed me the check and then went on a very sarcastic and vindictive tone insinuating that i knew exactly what i was doing, that i wasted five hours of his time (was only there for 2-3), and how he was "so happy" for me (repeatedly saying that)...i couldn't believe at the ambush that Sam had planned for me. i was so upset i went right into corporate and complained to the comptroller, since the owner Waugh was not available. i did get a call from Brigg apologizing but still waiting to hear from corporate. i am an existing customer of the ownership groups's terrific acura dealership and absolutely rave about their people and service. also i've heard great things about mini of peabody's service, but the sales tactics of mini of peabody were so disgusting, i still feel anxious and stressed about the entire situation. Sam Duff should be ashamed of himself and i hope nobody has to endure the horrible time that i went through. i will update if i hear from the ownership group. UPDATE 10-28-11: Received a very nice apologetic letter from the GM of Mini of Peabody, assuring me that my concerns have been addressed and that I would be treated right should I ever decide to bring my car in for service. I appreciate the gesture.

Most enjoyable car buying experience of my whole life (this is my 11th car). I'm used to the tried and tired: "what will it take to put you in this car today..." or "let me talk to my boss..." and the classic "oh, you need the extra bumper fluid at a price of one kidney..." All of these were delightfully absent in Mini of Peabody's approach.I'm one of those people who doesn't just threaten to leave a dealership as a tactic if I'm not happy with how things are going, I literally do get up and walk. What I'm trying to say is, I'm a tough customer and I don't react well to bullying or shady sales tactics. As it happens, I brought my game face for no reason. This was pleasantly, unlike any other auto purchase I have ever made.I walked in on a Sunday afternoon, and was allowed to walk aruond the lot and inside the dealership looking at cars for what I perceived to be the exact right amount of time. When I was approached by the greeter, he wasn't imposing, merely asking if I needed anything. I asked to speak with a sales person and one immediately appeared (Evans). I had his undivided attention (save for a few handshakes here and there with returning customers). At no point did he try to put me into a car I was not interested in. At no point did he badmouth the competition. When talking about the cars I was comparing to the Mini, he engaged in a fair discussion of the ups and downs of Mini ownership as compared to the other cars I was looking at. It was not just "attack attack attack," and "close close close." I spent a couple solid hours with him and left the dealership, having not once broached the topic of putting down a deposit, signing any papers or anything. It wasn't "no pressure" per se, it was that they were sensitive to the fact that I was not at deal-making stage yet. It was pretty obvious from the traffic there that these cars were selling themselves, so I didn't feel a whole lot of "quota pressure."Having made up my mind to go forward with a purchase, I returned on Monday night with the vehicle that I was looking to trade. Evans (salesperson- AKA "Motoring advisor") came in from a day off to work with me. Sure, he didn't want to miss the sale- but still and all- it was his day off. The actual deal-making piece, though fraught with compromise was short and painless. I got what I needed for the trade to make the deal work, and the price of the Mini was pecked away at to a satisfactory degree for both sides. Financing was arrived at through the dealership at a rate lower than my own bank could offer (and I have excellent credit). Props also to Joel Mesiti for running the numbers a dozen ways to make it all work out equitably. The Business Office is flexible and responsive.I picked up the car the next day, and though I bought the entry-level vehicle with precious few bells and whistles on it, Evans spent over an hour making sure I understood all the on-board systems and helped me set up my vehicle preferences in the computer and integrate my phone into the car's systems.I'm hoping service will live up to the standards set by the Sales and Financing staff- but that's a review for another day.

Gary King, the Service Manager, is awesome--always willing to please, willing to work with you, and very, very good at problem-solving. He is regularly recognized as the top guy in the country in MINI service.Brig Currie, who is the new General Manager, was my original salesman in 2002. He knows the dealership from the ground up and is easy to work with and fair. My latest MINI purchase is a new Countryman, which I am loving. Luis Velazquez was my sales rep and did an excellent job in every way through the test drive, info needed for decision making, knowledge of the car, and in making the deal. He's friendly, straight-up, and didn't rush me through the process, but let me think it through. I've owned a number of cars over the years, but buying a car at MINI of Peabody is the best experience, by far, I have had. I have often recommended MINI of Peabody to others, and I wouldn't hesitate to do so any time anyone is looking for a good car and good people to work with. They remind you that car buying and motoring are fun!

My experience with Mini of Peabody was nothing but positive. The facility is new and nicely-designed. While I was not there to get a Mini, they have an impressive lounge area to showcase the latest cars. I actually got a used car from them- a Ford Escape that was a recent trade-in. While they freely admitted that Fords are not their area of expertise, Evans was very informative, pleasant and patient. The manager, Brig, was also very helpful, as was Brian who took the time to explain the workings of the Escape when I came back to pick up the car. I feel like they gave me a very good price on the vehicle. They matched, and even beat the price that another out-of-state dealer had offered for a comparable vehicle, and saved me a long trip. I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a Mini- or even another car. They are well-informed and helpful. And they genuinely seem like they want the customer to be satisfied with the experience.

-I purchased our new Mini-S from 'Mini of Peabody' back in 2003. It was certainly a pleasant adventure back then, however, I had no idea at the time how our kinship would develop over these past 7 years and how blessed I was to have found such a dealership. I give nothing but the highest of praise to each and every staff member I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I have always been warmly greeted during each visit by all those I encounter as I would be enthusiastically welcomed by a close family member. They have always gone that extra mile to ensure my satisfaction. By doing so they have nurtured me into one loyal customer. During all this time I have never felt as though I was being taken advantage of and have had no issues whatsoever in any way, shape or form. -Management has somehow succeeded in hiring and maintaining highly capable personnel that simply have a unique quality within them all that exudes warmth, confidence, enthusiasm and team spirit.-None of us enjoy shelling out our hard earned cash in exchange for poorly performed services, overpriced parts, an unpleasant atmosphere and less than the best of attitudes from all involved. This certainly has not been my experience with 'Mini of Peabody'. Each and every time I am scheduled for either a service or a repair, even though I must navigate over an hour to get there, sometimes not in the best traffic and weather conditions, I look forward to knowing at the end of the road traveled I'll be rewarded with a most fruitful experience. It is obvious to me that they all know their jobs, do it to perfection and make a concerted effort to make me feel like family during my stay. I would be surprised if any customer would have a dissimilar history or hold a justifiably conflicting opinion.-A car can be a great vehicle on its own merits. However, the service representative that provides high standards of maintenance for that vehicle and successfully meets customer's unique needs with consistency can and will propel the marriage to a new level of excellence. Clearly this is what is happening at 'Mini of Peabody'. -I am so happy to have been a benefiting partner in this relationship.

It's probably enough to say I left the dealership feeling like I got a good deal and did not get screwed. The salesperson did NOT come out to snag us as we looked at vehicles on the lot.They gave us the price advertised on the web site.They didn't make us look at any other vehicles other than the one we came to buy.The salesperson did NOT write the numbers they were proposing on a sheet of paper and slide it across the table to us.This is the second MINI I've purchased from MINI of Peabody. The process was totally painless. I had done all the regular online research and the price they were proposing for the 2010 MINI Cooper (w/ 1900 miles) as a used car was already a good deal. They didn't give me a hard sell, didn't try and up-sell me on a different car than I came in to see and gave me a great deal on my 2003 trade-in. Honestly, I dislike car dealers immensely and don't give them the benefit of the doubt in any situation. MINI of Peabody was NOT HORRIBLE!I left smiling.

I visited Mini of Peabody on a Sunday afternoon because their online inventory indicated that they had a red Clubman S in stock. It didn't have exactly the equipment I wanted, but I thought I would at least see how it looked and drove. I walked in the door and was greeted by an extremely unlikely looking person named Hrach. An hour later, following the most memorable test drive of my life, I was signing the paperwork. Sadly Hrach is no longer with us, but any dealer who employs someone as passionate and eccentric as he was has to be supported.Later I realized that Hrach had never given me the second key, and I called the dealership to see if it could be found and sent to me. Kevin was most helpful, and ordered a new key immediately. When it arrived, they had found the original and included it, so I have two spare keys, one for my wife and another for when she loses that one ;^). Great customer service!

His reach-out to me in the cafe while I was waiting for my '02 MINI to get serviced the week before was so genuine that I knew he would be able to get me to a "good place" to make the decision to buy a new MINI.I am floored by the great deal I got, and how quickly the team was able to pull together and get me in my new MINI. Nicki was so helpful and tracked down the insane bank with their terrible records for my last payment on the 2002; even the service department didn't give up on me and my old MINI all those times I've been in over the past 12 months. My wife and I recently leased a new mini from Mini of Peabody. Before entering the Peabody store we spent our time visiting other mini dealerships around New England. The experience was terrible. Financially speaking after the deal was over, the numbers, were very close,the sourness of the visit is based on the lack of integrity at the other dealerships. One example; the finance manager and I were negotiating the net cap cost of the car based on the printout he just printed, when I asked him if he was able to print the numbers we where discussing, he told me his printer was broken and walked out of the room. When he returned I asked him if it was ok for me to write the numbers(money factor/residual value/cap cost) in my notebook. The finance manager did not have a problem with this so I wrote the numbers down thanked them for their time and left.My wife and I were willing to leave the New England area in search of a decent dealer, to lease our car from. We decided to stop in at the Peabody dealership. To say the least we are both very happy and it was a good choice. When we walked into the showroom we were greeted by the sales manager Brig Currie. He was very polite and listened to our needs. My wife asked him a few questions about the cars and he was very happy to provide answers, without overloading us with his desire to sell the car. Brig and I sat down to negotiate the cap cost of the car, during this time I explained to him what had happened at the competitions dealership. He ensured me this would not happen at the Peabody dealership and he was correct. We spent a short amount of time talking about price, money factor and residual value before agreeing on a price that would work for both of us. The experience was easy and painless. So we locked in the numbers and ordered the car. Delivery was on-time, the pickup and lease signing experience was great. Motoring Advisor Evans Tsiaousopoulos was there to greet my wife and I as we walked into the showroom with our car ready. Because of our work schedule we picked the car up late, close to the stores closing time. Evans did not hesitate to stay late and walked us threw every feature of our new car to the smallest detail. The lease signing was informative, professional, and progressed at our speed not the dealers. After the lease was signed Evans made us photo copies of paperwork we wanted copied, not required items. He opened the showroom door, had my wife drive out, then he came out and went threw the setup once again before putting her out on the road home.The overall experience at Mini of Peabody is one of the best I have ever experienced and I highly recommend to anyone who wants to get a fair price with outstanding service.

I found Luis and Kevin to be professional, informative and completely accommodating. Luis allowed me to drive a s version and a cooper and took the time to explain the differences between the two. This is our 2nd Mini. The 1st, a convertible sold us on the vehicle, but the dealership and Brian totally sold us on the second. Brian even put a mini red bow on the steering wheel, knowing it was a Christmas present from my hubby! We actually waited until we knew Brian was in to talk about our 2nd Mini. Have to admit, though, all the other sales folks we had any interaction with were equally nice and low key. They do seem to make the customer first and the sale second. This dealship has sent us updates on our first purchase since inception. I truly appreciate their low key sales approach and the total commitment to after sales response. They have been patient and understanding when we have called just to ask questions. The Roadside Assistance folks have lived up to the high standards of Mini of Peabody. We used the service department for the first time today and found that they do call to let you know what's going on with your car. Rich has been wonderful letting us know what is happening, what to expect. We also used the parts department for the first time. Dave didn't hesitate to go and find the answer I had about a part I had already purchased AND PAID FOR for my brand new 2011 Cooper S Clubman which I took delivery of on 11/30. . . didn't hesitate and apologized for the wait (duh-h-h 2 minutes) while he found the answer. I have already recommended this dealership and Brian to several friends who are looking at a Mini purchase (after listening to our glowing reports about our first one and experiencing it) in the next 6-12 months. . . NO I won't let them drive it - it's too much fun to share!

I just purchased a 2011 Cooper S from these people.They were some of the most competent car sales people that I have ever met. They bent over backward to satisfy me.Joel Mesiti was my sales rep.,Brig Currie was the sales manager. I requested changes both on the car and on the financing before I was done and they complied without complaint. The price negotiation was accomplished in a straightforward and honest fashion without any of the chicanery I experienced at another dealer. Joel and Brig are extremely knowledgable.Any questions they could not answer were referred to the appropriate persons. The facility is the nicest I have encountered. It's deservedly a bustling place with an unpretentious and friendly atmosphere that is obviously an enjoyable place to work. Everyone is highly professional, friendly, and enthusiastic about their marque.I travelled 120 miles to come to this dealer, bypassing one a lot closer to me, and I'm happy to do so.

Visited on a Sunday. They were very busy so they let me take the car without a salesperson. Got to take a very good look at the car without anyone looking over my shoulder. Sales people were very friendly and not pushy at all. Would like to have seen a discount oferred but the Clubman was in short supply. Joel was a great salesperson to work with. He was thorough, and worked with us for several days until we were both able to come to a price that we were comfortable with. The day of the sale, Joel was thorough, efficient, very friendly, and very knowledgeable. It's great to buy a MINI from someone who actually drives one. You can tell he has a passion for the car.Nicki the business manager was thorough as well, but turned a bit cold when we turned down the extended warranty. As soon as we told her we didn't want to purchase the extended warranty, her answers turned curt and her smile disappeared.But overall, the service from Peabody MINI was wonderful, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

When I purchased a new MINI Cooper, the Sales reps could not have been nicer. However, my experience since the purchase is where things went downhill quickly.Like any dealership, they want you to get your car fixed there and in their words "not have some grease monkey work on your car." While I bit my tongue and got a few $80 oil changes, I decided that I could not afford the $120 per hour that they charge for service, much less the imported parts. I mean come on, $120 is what some attorneys charge per hour!After a few expensive repairs, my axle broke and I had it towed on a flatbed to MINI Peabody for an assessment and rented a car. I received a call the next morning explaining that it must have been caused by the independent mechanic who replaced my clutch. Rather than have MINI Peabody repair the car, I decided it was time to trade it in for a new, more reliable car...a Honda. I contacted AAA and had my MINI transported on a flatbed again to the Honda dealership, where the manager was waiting to inspect it. Obviously, with any trade-in, you want the car to be in the best possible condition. To my surprise, when the car arrived at the Honda dealership, the car was leaking fluids, my glove compartment had been pulled apart, there were screws and parts left on the floor of the car and worst of all...my battery was MISSING! At this point, the Honda dealership wanted nothing to do with my car.I contacted MINI Peabody and demanded that they send a mechanic to the Honda dealership to get the MINI running again. While a mechanic was sent the next day, he got lost on the way and I wound up wasting over 2 hours of my day waiting. Fortunately, the car started and the trade-in worked out, but this experienced really showed the lack of professionalism that MINI Peabody gives its customers.While I loved driving my MINI Cooper, my experiences dealing with MINI Peabody were not only very expensive, but left a horrible taste in my mouth about ever purchasing a MINI again.

I live in Maine and MOP is the closest dealer and it is still 2-1/2 hours away. I called and spoke with Mark Foresta.They had a car in the color I wanted and a manual transmission. I really wanted to check out the color and test drive a manual. So I made an appointment for later that day and when I got there the car I was there to look at an test drive was not there. So at this point I have driven 2-1/2 hours to look at a car I was promised would be there. Their explanation - "the owner took it home, and it will not be back until tomorrow, You can come back then". Well I figured I was there so I should at least take a test drive. So i told mark that i wanted to test drive a manual transmission car. He went an retrieved keys and we went out to the parking lot. He opened the car and I got in to find it was an Automatic not the Manual I wanted to drive. Mark told me "You don't want the Manual they are really hard to drive, You want the automatic". I explained to him that I was NOT going to purchase an automatic and that was that. I then told him agian that I wanted to test drive a manual transmission car. He then told me "We do not have a Manual for test driving purposes we do not feel that customers have enough knowledge or experience to drive a manual so we only have automatics for test drives". I told Mark :i have driven nothing but standards since i got my license 30+ years ago, and I will not be purchasing a automatic so unless they can come up with a manual car for me to test drive I was leaving. I also found the other staff to be very pushy on the subject of automatics as well. I will never do business and will not recommend a dealer that refuses to listen to the customers needs and wants.

MINI of Peabody is the best. Their sales staff is great. Not pushy and honest. They really want you to enjoy owning a MINI. A test drive w/ Hrach is an experience to remember! They are also generous to the MINI owner community w/ events and support of MINI owner's clubs and fundraising events. Service dept. is second to none. Gary King and crew have gone WAY beyond what I would expect in helping me w/ service.I have purchased two MINIs from MOP and both experiences were great. The only complaint is on my second purchase I traded in a very well maintained sports car and they stroked me hard on the trade in value. I have heard that's par for the course though.Overall they are top notch.
