Picked this company randomly out of a line of companies who had the part that I needed. Ordered 9/28. Kept checking to see if had been shipped. On 10/6, it still had not, and I called to nudge them. The voice on the other end of the line said it would go out immediately. I left town, returning 10/13, and still it had not arrived. I tracked the package, but other than leaving the dealership, the tracking showed no progress. I called the dealership for help, but they said once it left them, it was not their problem (I paraphrase, but that was the attitude) - to deal with the USPS. I did begin that process, but you know how the post office is. They say they will get back in a few days. I have disputed the charge on my CC and purchased the part locally, which is what I should have done in the beginning. Will pick up the part this afternoon and save a few bucks.

Nick got me into a beautiful used mazda and I am so happy! This man answered every question and never made me feel like I was asking too much, even on his days off! I didn't feel like I was just another sale to them. He was super patient with every request I had and walked me through the entire process, as I am not the most comfortable with cars...he was helpful from multiple test drives to even adjusting my license plate frames when I couldn't make them fit!! The detailing and inspections on the car were so thorough, it feels like I got a brand new one off the lot. So glad I found Mitchell Selig and that Nick helped get me into my dream car (and kept me under budget!!).

I emailed interest in a f150 wed. Nite Anthony called me within a 1/2 hour answered some questions and told me the truck would be up front by 9AM next morning for me to test drive after looking at it (great looking truck)and looking around I saw another truck I liked talked to Rodney about it he pulled it up front, went for a test drive ,decided that was the one I wanted ,worked with both Rodney and Anthony until we worked out a fair price ,both were great guys to work with very patient and no pressure at all Thank you guys Steve

After searching high and low for a black 2017 Shelby GT350 with the options we wanted we took a ferry, train, bus and car to buy it from Mitchell Selig! They were honest, fair and professional and made the whole process easy! They were super responsive to all our questions. We gave them a deposit without seeing the car on Monday and picked it up Friday. When we saw the car for the first time it looked (and sounded) AMAZING. The car had the best detail job EVER and even had a full tank of gas. Their tech guy explained all the features. The whole transaction was completed in less than an hour. We were smiling the whole drive home! :-) Special thanks to Jason, Craig and the impeccable detailer from Jamaica! We might have to drive from NY to CT to get the car serviced just so we can have it detailed there.

Okay folks, here is the deal... We went purchased a new/used Explorer from the folks, here at Mitchell Selig. We are so thrilled with our new investment. More bells and whistles included in the price than ever expected. Dwight Harrison was our sales guy and did an excellent job. We kept him hopping and he showed us three different Explorers in 100 degree heat. Even introduced us to his mom... (Dwight knows what this was about) who was as awesome as he is. Thank you for your car sales service Dwight, and to you for Serving our great Country as a Marine, God Bless! We wanted a trailer hitch installed. The hitch was ordered and installed in a very timely manner. Then a loose tail light connector made another trip necessary.... Mitchell Selig is only a 15 minute drive from our home, but I must remind everyone of the old saying - you know, the one about the "Grass being Greener". During our search for a car, we visited a lot of dealers and web sites. And you know what happens nowadays once you give someone an email address, it is like you won a million dollars and the relatives start calling. Well one of those dealers was still contacting me after we picked up the car at Mitchell. I told them we had made the purchase elsewhere, but asked if they would service our Ford if necessary. This was a sales rep, mind you, "Of course our service center would love you as a customer". Okay, here is the greener grass I was talking about. This Ford dealer is about a half mile from our home. Won't give the name, but I live in Glastonbury...... (LOL) I called this FORD dealer in Glastonbury, or tried to. The menu doesn't seem to allow you to talk to a receptionist. It gives you a bunch of service techs names and extension. So it was hit or miss if you got through to anything other than a voice mail.. After three voicemail requests, I decided to drive the half mile to the Dealer in Glastonbury.... This beautiful totally renovated building had room for several reps, but only one was at his station and he was busy putting remotely controlled shades across the showroom windows. Finally I spoke with a rep, who referred me to someone to make an appointment. That person asked me the phone number on the vehicle purchase. That was my mistake.... I would have to wait until Friday. So after an hour and a half of time spent calling (trying to) the Glastonbury FORD dealer and waiting in line, I returned home. I arrived at Mitchell Selig Ford this morning at 7:05 a.m. and was back home in Glastonbury with my tail light fixed by 8:15 a.m. Kudos to Mitchell Selig Ford!!! They truly "Get It"! Folks, the grass surely isn't greener all the time.

My husband and I just recently took delivery on a 2017 Ford Explorer Sport from Mitchell-Selig Ford. I was introduced to Mitchell-Selig through TruCar.com. Anthony Andeen, the Internet sales manager, contacted me almost immediately. Unfortunately, they did not have the vehicle I wanted on their lot, however he searched surrounding states to find an exact match!When my husband and I went to the Mitchell-Selig to put together a deal, we were introduced to sales associate, Rodney Franks. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive to our needs. He worked with sales manager Jason Gunn to provide us with a deal that they promised could not be beat. Since Mitchell-Selig is quite a distance from where we live, we continued to contact other dealerships to see if someone could do better. In the end, Mitchell-Selig Ford beat every other dealers best price by thousands on both the new vehicle and trade. Because my new Explorer was coming from out of state and was sight unseen, I had many questions throughout the purchase process. Rodney kept me informed and even provided photos of the car when it arrived on their lot. When we took delivery of the vehicle Rodney went above and beyond to make sure the vehicle exceeded our expectations. He spent over an hour explaining all of the vehicles options, the new features of Sync 3 and made sure the vehicle settings were set to our preferences before driving off the lot. Hats off to Mitchell Selig Ford! We are extremely satisfied with our experience and look forward to doing business with them in the future. We would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new vehicle.

We took a day off work to visit 4 dealerships in the local area. The first dealership was good but they did not have the truck we were looking for and didnt seem to want to do any searches to find one.The second dealership was your typical stereotype salesmen. We walked out of this dealership after 30 minutes.Not feeling very enthusiastic from our first two visits, we pulled into the third dealership, Mitchell Selig Ford. We were greeted by a car sales person who asked appropriate questions and decided to refer us to the expert truck salesmen Sean. After discussing our situation and needs we were delighted to hear Seans answers. Scheduled several service appointments and extensive work on my Mercury Mariner. The Service Manager, Tony P., scheduled the work before and after a holiday and made sure I had transportation to get me back and forth to work. Been wanting a new Ford focus for some time. Did some internet searching of local dealer stock in the area and noticed Mitchell Selig had a decent selection. My wife and I stopped over on a Wednesday and met with Rodney. We test drove a grey color focus, but I really wanted Ruby red. Rodney went out of his way to get the color I wanted. By Friday he had it at the dealership and on Saturday I drove it home. My wife and I were very happy with our experience and plan on returning to Mitchell Selig to do some business in the near future when she needs downsize her current vehicle to a Ford escape.

We recently bought out our lease on our 2013 Ford Explorer and worked with Rodney Franks at Mitchell Selig. Rodney worked hard to help us get where we wanted to be so that payments would be comfortable. The staff felt sincere and eager to see us satisfied; however we were a bit disappointed when we finally picked up the vehicle that the Service Dept did not wash or vacuum the car. The general manager promised that we could make an appointment to have it detailed at a later date. We also spent quite a bit of money to purchase the lease and in the process the car needed new tires and some work (it has a LOT of miles on it, we were over our mileage with our lease). While the car was being looked at in the Service Department, which is protocol if you are purchasing your lease, we were frustrated to discover after the fact that the Service Department never bothered to change the oil (as it was due for an oil change), nor did they ask us if we wanted the oil changed, while they were looking over everything else, so we had to make another appointment to have the oil changed and need to make a third appointment to have the car detailed. It would have been nicer to have everything done all at the same time, but, sometimes it just doesn't work out that way. Again, Rodney could not have been more helpful and I would recommend him to anyone, just a bit disappointed with the overall purchasing process regarding the Service Department.

my wife and I have been looking for a new suv, we have visited my dearlerships and test drove many models. we even took one home over night. my wife really fell in love with the ford escape. after many trips to several ford dealers I drove to selig ford and met Rodney one of the salespersons working that sat morning. I felt very comfortable with him and the entire process from the test drive to the many questions I had about the escape. Dwight Harrison is a helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable gentleman. A "no pressure" salesman with a great team backing him up to resolve all questions or concerns. We went in for a check-up on our 2004 Taurus, which we also purchased from Selig before it was part of the Mitchell Family. While being assessed they shuttled my husband to A Dr's appointment, and picked him up when he was done! He went to check on vehicles to possibly purchase or lease one. Dwight took him on a test drive and picked me up at home! After loving the previously owner 2013 Fusion, we tried a 2016 Fusion. The Team worked with us on what we wanted in a lease and met our requirements without a blink of the eye. We drove it home a short time later. All prepped and registered, with a full tank of gas! When you e-mail a dealership to get a competitive price quote for a specific model and trim of car, you expect to get a reply with (a) a price that is (b) competitive.What you do NOT expect is to get a reply with no price, not even an MSRP, but instead a question: "when can you come in?" The entire point of using the Internet to seek out car quotes is to avoid coming into the dealership.Mitchell Selig Ford doesn't understand that.Not only did I get that reply to my query, but when I clarified that I was not coming in, I had test-driven the car, and I had no questions other than "how good a deal are you willing to give me?", the response was: We'll beat any price, when can you come in?That was where they lost the sale.But when they followed up by calling me at 6:30 p.m., when you would expect anyone to be eating dinner, to ask when I could come in? After I had explicitly said I only wanted to be contacted by email? That guaranteed that I would share the experience far and wide.The part where the Mitchell Group's Internet sales manager sent me a follow-up form-letter email asking if he could help me in my search for a "2015 N/a N/a model" (I was looking for a 2016 Ford) pretty much permanently associated the word "incompetent" with this dealership in my mind.My experience shows that Mitchell Selig Ford's sales staff is firmly stuck in the previous century, and they are still using the previous century's hard-sell techniqueseven when they're counterproductive.I bought my car from one of the many other dealers that gave me a prompt and useful reply to my e-mail with a competitive quote; I suggest you do the same.

Decided to explore the Range Rover line and found this dealership in the greater hartford area. I am a "to the point" negotiator and sales and business manager could not have done anymore to make sure deal went through! Professionalism and excellence at its best!! Also had bad luck flat after only 3 wks (tire hit nail) but they had a car delivered and exchanged back and forth to my home within 24 hrs and fixed and returned the same within 48!!! So far although it's early, this is by far a dealership that has excelled at all levels and is exactly what I look for in building a long term relationship with.Staff should be commended and recommend to all !!!!!

We asked for a diagnosis of problems we were having before any repairs. After a phone call with the results we asked to come down for an on-site explanation. The service manager and service technician brought us to the car and showed us everything that was involved. Putting the car on a lift so we could really SEE the problem areas requiring service. The technician was very knowledgeable, articulate, professional, and courteous. He exuded a confidence which only comes from extensive training and experience. He and the service manager answered all our questions without hesitation. They let us know which repairs were immediately necessary and which we could hold off on safely. Because of these unexpected expenses we couldn't afford to do everything at once.This was the most positive experience my wife and I have ever had at any service facility or dealership. I've purchased a number of vehicles over the years and have had dealer experiences that went from great to terrible. This time, I wasn't sure if I wanted another Explorer, an Edge, or an Escape. Our salesman, Rodney Franks was wonderful to work with. We looked and test drove most of the afternoon. Rodney listened to what we were saying about each model and helped us settle on a 2015 Escape. He genuinely wanted us to buy the car we would be happy with, not the most expensive one, not the one with options we didn't need/want. Also, we felt that the dealer gave us a good, fair deal and we went home with our new car that day. I examined the facilities and both the showroom and the service area were very clean and orderly. Nothing negative to report.

I was a little apprehensive after sitting in the car at the dealership, running the system check and seeing the screen read "54% oil life" after having The Works completed. Hello. I was going to call today anyway about the excellent service I received last week on our big old dump truck. It is our business plow truck that all of a sudden started acting extremely weird. I call you guys and expressed my concern with the snow coming that we desperately needed the truck running if possible. It was having what seemed to be tranny and engine problems. Brought my Ford Crown Victoria in for a recall, got it back with no heat working, they claimed it wasn't their fault and told me to send it in and PAY for them to diagnose the problem.Fast forward to 2015:Ford released a recall #14V704000. Which claims the recall I previously mentioned wasn't correctly repaired and will need to be reserviced. My car "matches the details" according to their corporate but isn't included in the recall for some reason. The dealership *refused* to look at my car unless I pay them. "Tom the service manager" told me he will take one second to look at my car to see if the previous recall was performed and tell me "ok the recall was performed" and not even inspect to see if I need more repairs without charging me. I filed a BBB complaint, I filed a NHTSA complaint. "Tom the service manager" hung up on me after a 10 minute length phone call telling me that my car had the recall performed and they don't care if it was incorrectly performed or not since my car isn't on the latest recall. Well, Tom. How do you know it was incorrectly performed? FORD doesn't care about their customer's safety - EVEN IF THERE IS A RECALL ON THE CAR - All they care about is money, even though they make an hourly wage anyways like the rest of us.I once took my car in for their Car Care Clinic, they found a bunch of little things wrong with my car and tried to persuade me to buy a new car. No thanks.

I took my truck to another local dealer to fix a vibration I felt coming from the suspension. They did not find a problem and returned the truck to me unfixed. I took it to Selig Ford the following week and they found the problem and even ran further tests to make sure it was the only issue. I'm VERY happy with the service and friendliness of the Service Department. And the courtesy shuttle is so convenient!

I know I was going to be needing 4 new tires as was told to me on a previous visit for oil change, etc...and they've been watching them.....I called ahead 2 weeks ago to ask Bob B the process, and to make sure the tires were in stock..........so I read the #'s on my current tires, and he advised I call the Parts dept, so did that and spoke to Ralph, who assured me the tires would be in by Thursday Sept 18th when I could be available. I waited for them and was out in 2 1/4 hrs...Bob and Ralph were very professional and answered all my questions and concerns (felt a pulling when braking) Brakes were also checked and found to be fine...I love going to your service dept and have been doing that for many years. Bob B, Tom and John have all been great to work with. Thanks for the great team you have there!-Joan

I was given a call and told what the problem was with the vehicle. I asked what the cost would be to fix it. After getting the cost I gave the ok to do the work. When I went to pick up the vehicle the cost was much higher. I was not told what the total cost would lucky I had my card with most of the time I pay cash. It would be nice if you could be told to total cost.

I brought my 2014 Escape in for recall repairs and a tire rotation while it was there. I dropped the vehicle off and they shuttled me to work. I was called promptly when the vehicle was ready and I called Dennis the shuttle driver, who picked me up and brought me back to get my vehicle. Bob the Service Advisor and Dennis the shuttle driver were very friendly and courteous.

I have always had excellent service at Mitchell Selig Ford. My only complaint about the recent service is minor - I had a left front control arm replaced, and while the alignment seems fine, the steering wheel is now turned slightly to the left when I'm heading straight. So, I will bring that in for correction at some point.

My wife and I are longtime customers of Mitchell/Selig Ford and have always been treated with courtesy and professionalism. We truly like the Escape, but have to say I felt like a traitor trading in my 2006 Ford 500 as that was really the best car I had ever had in my lifetime of driving. Ford Escape 2014 6 cylinder .The day that i received the car and proceed to drive home aproximately one mile the car literaly stoped in the middle of the road.I thought may be that i accidently shift into nuteral,however nothing that i did placing into park ,shutting off re starting,putting into reversed etc.worked.I call the sales person and within minutes they were at the location.We were unable to figure out what the problem was .I was driven back to the dealership given a loaner and the next day offered a different Escape without any further cost.Yes the service staff was very helpful

Bill was attentive from the outset helping me understand lease vs buy options to get me the best deal possible and working to keep me updated on delivery once we agreed on the vehicle type and had ordered it. The team at Selig Ford even went out of their way to get the vehicle cleaned and prepped so I could take delivery early despite their regular detailer being out sick. Second vehicle I bought this year and the 6th i have bought from Selig Ford and I wil continue to use Seligford Ford for my servicing. I used to be a Chrysler guy but now all my family drive Ford cars mainly due to Seligford Ford being a great local dealer.

I first visited Bill Selig Ford to test drive the Ford Focus ST. Mike was kind enough to drive it for me, as I didn't have a lot of experience driving a standard transmission vehicle. I simply loved the car, but I still hadn't made up my mind on which car I would ultimately purchase. After a lot of research, I visited Bill Selig Ford again looking to purchase the Focus ST. I made an offer to Bill, and he matched it (something I was not expecting as a first time car buyer, especially being a young female). The price simply could not be beat. I talked with Mario who promptly had all of the loan paperwork completed for me within half of an hour. I picked up the car 2 days later.The entire process was quick and simple, and the staff is extraordinary. I can honestly say that we "bought" this car as opposed to it being "sold" to us. From the initial test drive to final purchase there was absolutely no unnecessary pressure to purchase vehicle or extras. Excellent follow up and attentiveness to questions. Both Kevin and Mario were extremely personable and knowledgable. We were offered an honest deal with our trade in vehicle. Even though after hours pick up, was still given a tour of service area and what to expect. Kevin already called to check up after a couple of days and to offer additional assistance with any questions of car or Sync features.
