As a first-time buyer, I never expected to purchase a fairly new car. I went to Modern Auto Sales and looked around at some vehicles when I met the manager, Kevin, who introduced me to one that I absolutely loved and fit my price range! He worked so hard and called numerous banks until he finally got me an even better deal than I could have ever expected! He made my first-time buying experience a great one. He seemed to really be more interested in making friendships than other car dealers who just care about the dollar and not the person. I would highly recommend going to Modern Auto Sales! They are great people with amazing service. You won't be disappointed!

I was looking for a good low mileage vehicle. After looking at many sites I settled on Modern Auto Sales. What impressed me was the quality and cleanliness of the vehicles. The vehicle I chose had a couple of items I wanted fixed before taking ownership. Without hesitation, Joe said they will be taken care of and they were. After I received the vehicle I was contacted several times by Joe to ensure I was happy with my purchase. I also found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I live quite near Modern Auto and have seen them grow over many years from a tiny shack to an impressive and professional facility.

Every interaction I had with staff was professional and caring. They went above and beyond to find us the perfect car! I recently purchased a car from Modern Auto Sales for my wife, the experience was great! The salesman, Rob Whittaker made the buying process relatively easy and hassle free. He and the other staff members were curtious, professional and hospitable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone seeking to buy a vehicle. Very great setup, the place is clean and inviting. The only experience I had however( not a totally bad one), was with the owner. I felt he was pushing me too much into buying and not giving me enough time to think my decision. But, I do understand! Every salesman wants to close the deal and that's the nature of the business. I am happy I bought from him as he turned out later to be a very a nice guy, and really down to earth.

The whole process when super soomthly thanks to the staff. At no point did we feel pressured to buy, as we did with other dealers. They were able to answer all our questions and address our concerns. I would like to start by saying that Modern Auto Sales seems to pride themselves on seeking out higher than average quality cars. They talk about it, and it seems like the truth. Most of the cars on the lot seemed to be in good shape and lower than average mileage. The car I bought was low mileage and in beautiful shape too. The salesmen weren't pushy, and they weren't rude like some other places that I have been. Everybody there was kind and willing to help me out in my first real time buying a car. I will say that the numbers on price seemed to be pulled out of nowhere at the start. I am an engineer, and the discounts, price evaluations, and lumped categories started to make my head spin. I finally had to stop the numbers game and do the math on my own to get a reasonable starting point in starting the back and forth talk on price. After some debating I did end up getting a good price and a great car. I probably didn't get the absolute best price ever on my lancer, but I definitely got a good deal, and an extremely nice car.

Keith and the staff are amazing! Car buying is always a tricky event. However, at Modern they treat you like Family. No pressure sales, and while I test drove a vehicle, the staff was trying to find me a perfect match. I went in thinking I wanted one truck, but they were able to listen to what I needed and helped me find the Perfect Truck. It's been a week to the day and I couldn't be more happier with the truck they helped me find. If your looking for a great vehicle, Modern has the selection and staff that are second to none!

By FAR the best car buying experience I've ever had. Joe spent TONS of time with us, making sure we got the right car at the right price, then worked to lower the cost even more, and then gave me his cell # so we could call "at any time, day or night" with questions. And I did! We wanted to try out countless cars, so while we test drove one car, he got the next ready so we could move as quickly as possible. There was NO pressure - just a good, calm car guy who really knew his stuff and wanted to help. It was a great, easy day and I love my new car!

After visiting many other dealers and either being offered junk cars for choices or told we can't help you. We went to Modern. Where Leo was there to help us. He showed us cars we liked and could afford , helped us get financing and was patient with us while we were getting cash together for a down payment. After I decided on the car I was looking for, I searched the Internet. After sifting through several dealerships, Modern Auto Sales bubbled to the top. I was impressed with the website, and the amount of information available on each of the cars. Once I decided on the car, I used TrueCar and KBB to find a fair price. The car was in like-new condition, and while it didn't have all the options I was looking for, it was a fairly low-mileage vehicle and that was my primary concern. After a short negotiation, we agreed on a price. I paid a few hundred more than what I thought was fair, but I was satisfied. If you're looking for a good used car, I would recommend Modern.

They are bringing trucks and cars from Canada to sell in states all rotted you buy and after two weeks everything starts fall apart this people are Awful I boug a truck and I can't fix because everything is in French computer speaks in French I hate this people they sold me a truck saying that was all check they didn't even had oil change done my brakes were all gone after 6000 miles if they can't afford give you new brakes and oil change please close doors

Excellent!The customer service from Tony Luna from moment one was excellent! I had contacted the dealer via email where Tony was quick to call me back. After answering a few questions, Tony needed to confirm a few items. Tony called back and confirmed the last of my questions, we then negotiated a fair selling price for the vehicle. Once we agreed on price I asked to hold the vehicle until I could arrange to get there, he agreed to hold for a small deposit. I made arrangements to fly out to Boston from Chicago to pick up the vehicle, where then Tony emailed me to say "I would be glad to pick you up from the Airport if that will make it easier"Well to say the least, Tony made my day easier, picked my son and I up from the airport, drove to the dealer to find the vehicle having its last clean-up details being done. I was then greeted by Keith DiRocco who was finishing those details. Keith and I handled the last remaining paperwork in about 10-15 minutes (spot on!)My son and I had a great traveling experience on the 1,000 mile road trip back!If only ALL other dealers could be this way!I have purchased many cars, trucks, (new and used) and picked up many Company Cars, but the experience through this place was awesome! When I arrived at Modern Auto Sales I was immediately greeted by Tony Luna. I liked him immediately because he approached me with a smile. When my boss, Elkin McCallum, asked him to show me around the lot, he did not immediately go to the more expensive cars; instead he very patiently showed me every car on the lot and was extremely knowledgeable about each and every car. I did not feel pressured nor did he steer me towards a certain make or model. I felt secure that the decision was mine and that he offered nothing but courtesy and assistance and I immediately trusted him. I ultimately chose a 2014 Mazda 6 and although I have only been driving it for one day, I am thrilled with both my choice and my salesman. Thank you so very much Tony. Hi I was greatly happy with my experience. But there was a couple of issues like they left the bed full of snow. Ok they didn't go over all paper work I had to deal with three or four people instead of the one I start with I no tony was not feeling good but the other one didn't finished with me he let some one else take care of it.

I can be tough to please especially when spending money. My wife and I were not looking for the vehicle Leo showed us, he had listened to the details of our needs and presented something frankly I was skeptical of. I did some research and discovered it was all he said and more. Long story short it is now four months later and this is the best vehicle I have owned. It did have a couple of problems that came up but how they handled them was a pleasant surprise. Never in my life have I dealt with an auto dealer like this, it was a simple process, a fair price and what they delivered was beyond immaculate. They know the product and it looks like the selections are carefully picked.I look forward to buying my next car from them.

Found a truck at Modern through Cars.com. Visited the shop and from the beginning was surprised by the staff. Friendly and knowledgeable. No pressure. A little back and forth on price which is to be expected. Bought the truck at a price I could live with. Here is where it got better. Being new to Massachsetts I really didn't know the rules and laws regarding insurance and registration. They walked me through the process even providing phone numbers for my insurance carrier. Printed all of my documents and helped me secure a tow of my new truck to my residence. I would definitely shop there again.

My family, extended family, and I have been giving business to Modern Auto for several years now; as they provide quality vehicles and service, at fair and reasonable prices, and they always stand by their product/work! I was in the market for a car some years ago, and my Uncle recommended Modern Auto to me, saying he had a good experience there. I went down and worked with Joe, the owner, and found a vehicle that was right for me. I enjoyed my experience so much that some years later, after having moved back to New England from living out of the region for a few years, I went back to Modern Auto and Joe helped take care of me again finding a vehicle that met my needs both in function and price. With any vehicle I have purchased from Modern Auto, if I ever found any fallow up concerns after the purchase, I was always taken care of with timely repairs and no cost billed to me. They worked really hard to help us get the car we really really wanted, even though it was a little above our price range. They gave us extra incentives and a great interest rate through a credit union. Tony followed up afterward and was available to consult and lend a caring ear when someone stole my don's mini bike, also bought at Modern Auto. The car I was driving was ready for some major work right away. I decided it was time to stop dumping money into it and wanted a new car but my budget was very limited. I looked online and found the exact car I wanted but was worried about the price. As soon as I pulled into the Modern Auto Sales parking lot, I was greeted by two friendly and helpful salesmen. I told the salesperson, Tony, that I wanted to test drive a car and I knew which one. He immediately got the car ready and off I went and I was sold! Tony and I discussed my options and things fell into place. I was honest right away about my money limitations and they were honest about what they could do for me, which made things go a lot smoother and there wasn't a lot of back-and-forth discussions. They were very attentive, but not overbearing. I would definitely go back to Modern Auto Sales and would recommend it to anyone.

After buying a vehicle at Modern Auto in the summer, I recommended to my co-worker to come here for her own purchase. As we pulled up to the location, Leo greeted us with a smile and a wave, as he recognized my car pulling up. Just like with me, he worked with my co-worker's needs and found a car on the lot which fit her. He put in an extra amount of work to get her loans approved, and she is now the happy owner of a Ford Fusion.Both of us appreciate the work Leo put in for our purchases, and appreciate his hard work. As I said in my last review, he is not just a salesperson, he is genuine, honest, and a great help and stress relief in the car buying process.The people at Modern Auto are so kind and helpful, I will continue recommending them when purchasing a vehicle.

The experience with modern auto sales was very assuring. They walked me through the entire process step by step and allowed for me to take the vehicle offsite to be inspected. Everything checked out great. Financing was a breeze and I am very happy with my experience. I would recommend modern auto to my family and friends.

I purchased a used vehicle at Modern Auto Sales recently. Many times I had passed the dealership and always admired the way their vehicles appeared; although used vehicles they appeared like new. Leo A. our sales associate who worked with us could not have been more accomodating. He was very knowledgeable of the two vehicles we were interested in test driving. His down to earth, no pressure approach, was welcoming and refreshing as I have been looking for a vehicles and test driving many for over a year. I feel I was treated fairly and respectfully through the entire negotiation process, no hassle, no pressure and my end price was affordable. Leo even took the time in the snowy weather we have been having to wash the outside of my vehicle. It looked terrific when I picked it up a few days later. The dealership as a whole, as well as the service department, is very professional and clean and I would recommend Modern Auto to others who are interested in purchasing a vehicle.

Our daughter purchased her first car at Modern Auto two years ago. She has been a very satisfied customer. Earlier this month, we had the unexpected necessity of a car replacement. The staff at Modern Auto was able to find us the loan appropriate for our situation. After going on there web site looking for a car for my son Joshua and seeing all the reviews that Leo Allgaier had on this page I knew who I wanted to deal with for a car. I can say he went above and beyond to get my son Joshua into this car.. I would recommend Him to my family and friends.. Never dealt with a dealership that did not have a sales person breathing down your back and I can tell you that did not happen here. They do what they have to do to get you in a newer car. Overall, buying my first car at Modern Auto Sales was an excellent experience. Just by browsing through the lot, you can tell that the cars are kept in great condition. But what truly impressed me was the staff. Not only were the people I worked with very personable and respectful, they worked very hard to find me great financing as a first time buyer. Due to their efforts, I am now driving a beautiful Toyota Camry that has exceeded all of my expectations and needs. I am absolutely sure I made the best decision in going here. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to other people as I am positive they would have the same great experience I did.

I bought a used Honda Civic from Modern and it was a very good experience overall. Leo was a pleasure to work with and was knowledgeable about what he was selling as well as at justifying the price (which was fair given the excellent condition of the car). At no point did I ever feel pressured into making a deal, even though it took a few days to agree on a price. The car was well presented and very clean inside and out. While considering the purchase I looked at several other cars and was impressed with the quality of every car I saw. I believe every car on the lot is of the highest quality youll find in a used car, and have recommended Modern to friends and family.

I was in the market for a new car, an I hate dealing with car salesmen. I always feel like they are breathing down my neck and are trying to push me to purchase something I don't need/want. I just purchased a 2009 Chevy Malibu from Modern Auto Sales, and they were amazing! It was by far the best auto purchasing experience I have ever had. They are friendly, honest and really go to bat for you! When I need another car, I will absolutely go back!

I was very nervous when I walked into Modern Auto Sales, it was my first time buying a car by myself. Leo was great, he listened and then told me what they could do for me. Kevin made the financial process much more comfortable then I thought it would be. Finally Keith went over all the paper work, organized everything for me and gave me the keys! I have gone to Modern Auto for 2 cars now. My own, and my girlfriends, and both times, I was more than satisfied with the service we have received from Leo and all the other guys at Modern Auto. I have a Mazda 3 that even when it had a small issue, it was fixed, and I had a free loner car to help with the inconvenience of the repair. I would recommend this dealership to anyone that is looking for a fair price, great service, and cars for all people.

Originally I came to this location when my boyfriend needed a new car. Leo took care of us for that purchase. When my car finally gave out, Modern Auto was our number 1 choice. Again, Leo took care of us. He remembered us from my boyfriend's original purchase (back in January) and even remembered who we were as people, not just as another client. Leo is personable, kind, and honest, which you really can't say about many car salesmen. I know when I need a new car (hopefully not for a while) Modern Auto is where I will go.

My husband and I were treated extremely well by both Leo and Kevin. Leo was very professional and friendly. I threw some pretty difficult questions at him and he handled every one of them politely and respectfully. The day we went down to actually purchase the car, Leo received my paperwork by e-mail and had everything all set up and waiting for us - even when we arrived 45 minutes earlier than expected. We would absolutely purchase from Modern Auto Sales again.

I went into Modern Auto on July 12, 2013 to have service done to my Mazda 5. I found out that I needed break pads and break calipers for the rear but, also an emergency break cable. The whole job would cost $736.61. I talked to Joe, I told him that I thought I had extended warranty, he said "I did not get it when I purchased the car through them five months ago." Joe and I sat down and talked and he said "Don't worry about it, we will make it right and you will be happy when you leave out of here." When the job was done, he said, "Would it be far if you to pay a hundred dollars?" I said yes but, I don't have it. He said " don't worry about it." So Joe paid the whole bill for the service of my car. I would say that this place is the best place for anyone to get the services done to their cars. Also if you need to get a great car for a great price here is the place. My name is Doug and I would trade my cars in here, buy again here, and get my cars serviced here any time now.

I was contacted by the owner of the dealership Joe and he addressed my issues. He was more than helpful and willing to do whatever it took to make me happy. Joe Pelletier was the best car sales person I have ever worked with. He was Friendly, knowledgeable.He didn't pressure me into any one car over the other.He Listened to me and found the best car within my price range with everything I was looking for and more.Not to mention it is gorgeous and has all the options I wanted plus more options I dreamed of but didnt think I could get within my price range.The car is 6years old and looks brand new from the under carrage to the inside/ouside and the motor.It runs awesome and is beautiful.Joe Pelletier made this car buying transaction a breeze.I love my new car and have toild all my friend if they are looking for a car talk to Joe Pelletier.

My car had a lot of miles and I needed a new one.I seem one at this dealership I wanted to check out. When I arrived I was just looking. Leo came out and didn't try to get me inside to fill out application which was awesome. Wasn't pushy at all. I test drove 6 cars which can be annoying. Then I chose a Mercedes . My bank gave me a loan when I went to pick up check it fell thru . I was devastated but Leo had offered to put me in a more affordable vehicle . He ran my credit thru his finance dept and I was approved for the car I wanted! I now own my dream car. And they took my trade in no problem. Thank you so much for all your help.

No pressure sale, quality car, detailed better than new. Provided all of the available paperwork, work done prior to sale and complimentary CARFAX report for the vehicle. The prices seem high, but run your comps and negotiate with them. I would buy from Modern Auto again
