Generally don't have a good experience with service staff, but this visit was not just pain free, but relaxing. Service rep was courteous, nice and professional. Explained the service needed and got out of there before the timeframe that she provided to me at the start. Only negative was the layout of the waiting room. Big windows make it airy, but the sun just bakes.

I located the truck I wanted online. When we came into the dealership to test drive, we really expected to get the run-around like always. However, they proved us wrong! First dealt with this dealership as of October 18, 2016. I was very well pleased with low pressure sales staff, especially Aaron Rourk, Mike White, Adam Burke, and Financing manager Carlos Nunez. All staff members were very professional and courteous, and very knowledgeable of the product, and took great care and time to go over the vehicle with me thoroughly. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone interested in purchasing any vehicle, new or used. I rate them at 10 on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being THE BEST. For me to rate this highly, that is saying quite a lot. I generally have problems dealing with pushy salespeople. Thank you guys!!! Look forward to working with you in the future!

So I looked online and I liked 2 cars from this dealership. One was a Nissan Juke and the other one a Nissan Altima. I spoke with Angela Dibernardo, she scheduled an appointment for me for the next day in both cars. When I get there, the price of the Nissan Juke was $17.000 instead of $14.500 (online) and the Nissan Altima was not there It was in Boone, NC. Basically 2 hours away from Lake Norman. That is how they lie to customers in this dealership. They schedule an appointment to see cars that are not there.After my disappointment because I was decided to buy one of the cars there, the dealership told me that the price after taxes and plate was $16.500. ($2.000 in taxes)In the conversation that I had on the phone they said that the price was not going to increase, but guess what went you are at the dealership they increased the price so they can make more profit out of customers that drive an hour to get there. The next day Garrett, another guy working there, texted me for 3 or 4 hours. In the conversation he questioned me why I wanted to pay the entire amount of the car at once. He said quote I dont understand why you want to dump all the money into the car at once What if something happened to it and youd be out all that money?. Apparently Garrett knows exactly how much money I have in my bank account. He wanted for me to finance the car in order to make even more profit. This is how they operate, being disrespectful with the customer and trying to make the biggest profit. DO NOT COME HERE.

I currently live in Winston Salem, and I was looking for a car for my 16 year old daughter. I found a Nissan Juke at Modern Nissan of Lake Norman and began the process over the phone. Gil Bracy was my Sales Consultant, he was fantastic. The car was ready when we arrived for a quick test drive and final approval. All of our PPW was completed, and we were in/ out without any hassles. They were able to beat the finance rate of my credit union, so we handled the financing on-site as well. Overall, a great experience.

Today was the first time I went car shopping without my dad or husband so I was a little nervous. Everyone there was extremely friendly and personable. Chris Byers was my salesperson and I can honestly say I've never had anyone as helpful and nice as him. From the moment I walked in, he made me feel right at home. He really seemed to care about my happiness and he was able to help me get out my old lease and into a brand new fully loaded Rogue! just had the absolute WORST experience. The service manager, Jim, was so incredibly rude to me. They broke part of my door while doing a repair on my side view mirror and will not fix it. Though I reported it the very first time I drove the car after picking it up. He said I had only been there twice before and the car is 12 years old. What does that have to do with anything? It's in excellent condition and I just moved here. He and the service advisor were so mean. Jim handed me his card when I asked who his supervisor was and then he proceeded to walk away from me. In the middle of a conversation. I can't believe they refuse to fix what THEY broke. I left in tears. I will be contacting corporate. SAVE YOURSELVES THE HASSLE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A WOMAN. BULLIES!!!!!!

After (too) much searching for a vehicle I was so pleased to find such an excellent dealership and outstanding service from everyone associated with the deal! Did business with them couple of times and suggested to friends earlier but today experience I never forgot.. Worst experience with Alex moore and chris young... Here is my experience today.. I went to see 2015 nissan altima. On internet price of the car they showed as 24771$ Alex showed the car and take us to test drive. Until I speak about the price they r very nice. I asked for 22500$ OTD.. I know they wont give for that price for sure.. And I told Alex, if you got me that price I will take you to the dinner..he asked me to take their entire family of 8.. I said yes .. After that chris young came and showed us the door.. How rude they are.. Is this the way to do the business.. If they cant give tat price they should have tell their price.. Negotiate with customer.. But they havent told another price.. Be careful when you do business with them.. I will never ever do the business with them.. And I wont suggest to any too.. One of my frnd warned me about it. But i told dim they r gud.. But today experince confirmed.. They are not gud to do the business.. They r not customer friendly..

We have bought 5 vehicles and driven those for 12 years in a unbroken chain from Modern. We actually came to look at the Quest and found that my wife had trouble with ingress and egress on the Quest, Murano and Rouge. We were ready to depart when Gil Bracy convinced us to try the Pathfinder. He was right and we were wrong as my wife could easily get in the larger vehicle--but with a price that was well above our budget or so we thought. Gil and the staff worked the price and the trade out and away my wife went with her second Pathfinder. I bought my car from Jason Spruill in November 2015. The sales process was easy and seamless. He had the deal waiting for me to sign when I arrived. I got a great deal and also included a good price on an extended warranty that covered all services for four years, and also found that even without the warranty my first two oil changes were free! I brought my car in for its first oil change, and Joshua Spruill helped me arrange the time and date. He was friendly and professional, and he even offered a complimentary car wash! I felt very special. When I arrived to drop my car off the intake was quick and easy. After a quick lunch, I came back and my car was ready to go! I compliment both the sales and service department for their professionalism and their willingness to make sure the customer is completely satisfied. I purchased a used vehicle from another dealer and one day later the A/C quit working. I spoke to the other dealer and they referred me to Lake Norman Nissan for repair. I was ready for a fight until I met Alysia. She immediately calmed all my concerns and assured me that they would take care of any problems that I had. At 10am the next morning I arrived to get the A/C repaired. Alysia met me with that big smile, had my car repaired within 1.5 hours and I was back on the road with a smile on my face. This was the best car buying experience I've ever had. (I've bought several.) Aaron Rourk (Sales Consultant) was awesome. Everyone involved made the experience great. I was dreading buying a car because of the amount of time you sit in the dealerships "playing" the game of price negotiation, waiting the for financial "guy" to give you the "best" deal. It normally takes a significant amount of time from your day. That was NOT the case with Modern Nissan. It was the fastest and smoothest experience I've ever had buying a car. I have already told friends about this experience and recommended that they check out Modern Nissan when buying a car.

HORRIBLE! Never again will I step into this joke of a dealership! We were looking for a new car to replace our 2012 Sonata and went to Modern Nissan of Lake Norman. We wanted to get an appraisal of our car while on the test drive but the sales person said they did the appraisal, which sounded strange. After the test drive we went inside and after a few minutes the Sales Manager Chris came in and claimed they were having "printer problems" and we should come back. I said that were would appreciate an appraisal and some numbers so that we could look over everything. Chris said go on Kelly Blue Book and rate your car as good and that's your trade in amount. Mind you he is telling me this without ever looking at my car! I said we REALLY would like some numbers and we were interested in the rogue and also I had a VPP voucher for another car and could get one for this. Chris then again refused to do an appraisal and told me that the VPP voucher for the more expensive rogue we were looking at would "be a couple hundred dollars tops". Funny thing Chris, the VPP voucher was for OVER $1,500!At this point I was fed up with out treatment and we just left vowing NEVER again to go into this dealership. Reading the reviews about sales I wonder how Chris even has a job! I feel we were not treated with respect and I guess he thought we were not serious. Funny thing is I hope Chris reads this and I will gladly send him a photo of the $27,000 cashiers check I got for the car we did purchase!Modern Nissan of Lake Norman is a joke and unless you want to be treated with disrespect and flat out lied to avoid them at all cost. I sold cars previously and I assure you Chris would have been fired for his antics at the dealership I used to work at.

A very nice salesman showed me a highlander with a "clean" carfax. It was obvious that this can had been rear ended . It had a very shoddy repair and was held together with duct tape underneath. When I pointed this out to the sales manager he got rude, crude and very loud. He was down right nasty and embarrassed us both in front of everyone there. I will never set foot in this dealership again and i strongly recommend you don't either.

I've purchased my last three cars from Modern Nissan and can not say enough good things about them. I came out to look and Gil was exceptional with telling me all the options available. The next day when I had decided to buy, I called him up to work out the details. My goal was to spend as little time in the showroom as possible on the holiday weekend, and we did everything over the phone. This is my second time buying from Modern Nissan. The first time we had a great experience with Eric Carter who sold us our fun and very cool looking Juke. He made the process easy and was there to answer any questions. This time we needed something bigger so we decided on the 2015 Murano. Our salesman, Gil Bracy went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and sold me the exact car I wanted. No pressure and answered every question I had. This is the first time I have been back to the same dealership, usually you have a bad experience and don't want to return. I bought a car that I saw on the website. I thought I was getting a good deal but then I got home and looked at the website and saw that it had gone lower that day, I then called back 2 hours later to ask why I did not get the lower price that it had been marked to that day I got no answer. After 3 weeks and me having to call Nissan customer service just to get a call back. I was told by Chris that "the salesmen do not know the website prices" Yes I know that is stupid and a lie but that is what he told me. I know that it is not going to make or break me or them the difference in the price but it is the principal of it and it is all about customer service. I also realize that it won't make or break them that myself and my friends and family will never shop there again but I want everyone to know the type of people you are dealing with when you shop there.

Today I walked into Lake Norman Modern Nissan because it was time to purchase my wife a new car, and time was about to run out on our 1999 Mercury Villager. I had already been to several dealerships and could feel the pressure to sale and buy at each stop. Taking time to read ratings of dealerships in my area lead me to this business and the concept of "family ownership". The warmth and genuineness was evident as soon as I stepped inside. I was presented to Mike, who has only one year experience with Modern Nissan and my heart began to sink. I kept waiting for him to fall flat on his face...pressure me.....not know what he was talking about.....etc. instead he was calm and simply allowed me to guide the entire process while he supported with his knowledge and kindness. When he did not know an answer, he did not pretend to...he stopped and found out, and we resumed our discussions. There was no back and forth on the car over and over again with some mysterious person putting numbers down. They offered me a price, I counter offered, and the sales manager appears in Mikes office, sits down, and takes time to explain how they do business....and that they were giving me their price and if that did not suit, we would shake hands, be friends and go our separate way. He offered a small adjustment...but that was it. Done! ...and I was free to go. I was even holding my keys and that had not tried to trap me. I asked him to make the small adjustment, he did, and I bought the car! I al ways hate the finance end, but Ken was so laid back. His presentation of options was all laid out on paper for me and simply allowed me to ask questions and make decisions. NO PRESSURE! It was the most understandable and easiest signing I have ever experienced. Now to top all of this off, I took the car home and at 4:30 my daughter and wife decided they wanted a different car. I arrived back at the dealership at 6:00 PM and was still able to drive the car of our choice home as Mike and Ken stayed until all was complete. It was like I had become a part of their family and was meant to be taken care of. Best car buying experience I have ever had. A lifetime customer? What do you think?

These people know what they are doing. They make the buying process what it should be. Gil Bracy is excellent and so were the managers and finance staff. I would recommend calling ahead and making an appointment because the word is out about how great they are. They are always busy. Don't hesitate if its a long drive for you to go see them. It was 1:15 for us and worth every minute. Plan on going back for my next car. I only gave 4 stars for repairs because I don't have anything to go on other than how clean they made the used vehicle I purchased. Which was wonderful by the way. Everything else I can say is 5 stars for sure.

First time experience with this dealership was very positive. A demo 2014 Nissan Sentra S was initially found on Autotrader.com. An email to the dealership promptly resulted in a phone call and appointment. David Puchlettner greeted us upon arrival and was very professional and knowledgable in assisting with the purchase. Touch ups and body work on the used car looks real good.... except for the one broken headlight panel that didn't get replaced. Now I'm stuck with getting it done (3 hours away). Early in the morning, this past Saturday, 05 January, I got into my 2014 Nissan Altima 3.5 SL, cranked it up, and discovered that the power to my radio, navigation display screen, and most of the other bells and whistles was dead. A couple of restarts didn't correct the problem. I had remembered from my research on that make and model of auto that a few other owners of 2014 Altimas had experienced the same problem. I immediately drove to Modern Nissan of Lake Norman, where I bought the car last year, and arrived at its service department. I got there ten minutes before its scheduled time to open; nevertheless, one of the service people, Mr. Travis Goble, immediately waved me in, listened to my description of the problem, and took the car into a service bay.There was a bit of a wait, which I understood, because there were at least three people who had arrived with appointments and of course they had priority. But after a wait of about thirty minutes, Mr. Goble sought me out and explained it was simply a matter of pulling out the cognizant fuse and re-inserting it. However, they were reprogramming the system with a software upgrade and that's what I/they were waiting on.About forty minutes later, I was good to go. No charge, because it was under warranty. Most of my display settings had returned to the factory default and I had to reset them to where I wanted them. But I got an upgrade to a 2015 system in the bargain, so I wasn't complaining.I was particularly impressed with 1) my problem being addressed even though I had arrived ten minutes before the service department opened; 2) a turn-around time which I consider excellent, given the fact that I was a walk-in with no appointment; and 3) with the upgrade, coming out with a better car than when I went in. Mr. Goble was timely, professional, and did more than he had to do. From my observations of the overall operation, it's an efficient, courteous, and professionally run service department.

Two weeks ago---30 August---my wife and I visited the Modern Nissan of Lake Norman dealership to test drive a 2014 Nissan Altima 3.5 SL. As my wife will tell you, I don't buy so much as a stapler without devoting hours to researching makes, models, and the businesses selling them. The Altima 3.5 SL was on my very short list of autos I was considering, and the only one that isn't touted as a "luxury car". But from what I had uncovered in expert opinions and consumer reviews, the Altima 3.5 SL had everything I wanted in a new car.Of all the Nissan dealerships that had a 2014 Altima 3.5 SL, I chose to approach Modern Nissan of Lake Norman first. That, again, was because of research. On various sites, including this one, the consumer comments regarding Lake Norman Nissan were numerous and overwhelmingly positive.Now I know why.In thinking back over the experience, I don't find a single thing I can give a downcheck. The personnel with whom my wife and I dealt---Mr. Jason Spruill, sales consultant, and Mr. Chris Young, the sales manager---were thoroughly professional and knowledgeable. They were courteous and genuinely pleasant, with none of that phoney "friendliness" that I've seen car salemen use at other dealerships. There were none of the other red flags that people tend to associate with the car-buying process: no hard sell, no bait-and-switch, no interminable waiting while the salesman "consults" with his boss. Mr. Young and Mr. Spruill were respectful of the requirements and limits that I had set down for myself in making a purchase; they made no attempts to cajole me into spending more money or making more payments or going anywhere I didn't want to go.The single best word to describe it was professional---from the moment my wife and I entered the lot to being handed the keys to our new car. The negotiation part---the part which most people hate---was about as unstressful as such a thing can be. Mr. Young and Mr. Spruill were fair and above board. They worked hard to earn our business. At no time did they pressure me to do anything I didn't want to do.The deal which finally closed the sale was exceptional, and like Mr. Young and Mr. Spruill themselves, it was fair and above board. I've examined it every which way and there are no hidden "gotchas".My wife and I left thoroughly impressed. To be sure, this was business we were conducting with Lake Norman Nissan, but it was about as pleasant an experience as car-buying gets. If you're the kind of person who dreads walking into a dealership showroom, this is the place for you to go. You may or may not leave with a new car, but you won't feel like you've been bullied or had the wool pulled over your eyes. You'll be treated respectfully and---I can't stress this word enough---professionally.Oh, and the 2014 Nissan Altima 3.5 SL we bought has been an outstanding car! Granted, it's only been two weeks and I've put only four hundred miles on it. But so far, everything about the car has been marvelous. There've been no hidden "gotchas" there, either. You can pay more for a "luxury car" and get less.

Ended up with a brand new truck at great price. To prove how much we trusted them, we did not drive the truck until we drove it off the lot. Great team. Buying a car can be a hassle and generally I don't look forward to dealing with the salespeople. Both the salesman (Gil) and the sales mgr (Chris) were direct and fair when quoting pricing. I feel like I got a good deal on a 2015 Altima. Everyone, from finance to service were friendly. Even the guys in training were approachable and not pushy (thanks Will) Overall, it was a good buying experience.

My daughter test drove the Nissan Versa at a different dealership and loved it. However, they didn't have her color - Blue, and I wanted a cheaper sales price! I found the car on Cars.com across town and sent them a note to hold it for me. They emailed me back the next morning and gave me a call to set up a time when I could come check it out. I went across town by myself, and they offerred to let me take it home for my daughter and husband to check it out! That was awesome!! I was able to keep the car for a couple of days until I could arrange to bring my daughter in to close the deal! The Z has tricky little clips to extract the battery that neither Advance nor I was interested in breaking in order to change the battery out. From the time I stepped out of my car at the dealership until the conclusion of business, I was given every courtesy. There was no rushing to close the sale. The salesman that I dealt with was easy to work with. I picked out a car from the inventory and was on my way in very little time. Had a short wait for finance representative, but he proved to be very efficient and handled all the paperwork within 30 minutes once we got started. Good experience for us. My salesman, Aaron Rourk, must have learned sales from my generation. I have visited several places lately and discounted the other places due to the lack of service. Here I found a good looking, and clean dealership who believes in giving a great deal and great service. The choices there were outstanding and I found everything that I wanted. The service department was large and spacious as well as very clean. Aaron made it a point to show me the Service Department and extoll their virtues. I hope I don't have to use them too much but I found a great place where I can be very comfortable. I have HATED car dealerships since 1980 but today that changed. I felt like I was the only customer they had.

My first time buying a car was a great one! I think didn't think it would have been so easy. When we pulled in we were greeted by Mike Adkins. We told him that we needed a car better on gas but needed to have the space in the backseat for our son's car seat and room for his stroller in the trunk. We were honest that we weren't looking for a brand spankin' new car we wanted a certified pre-owned because we knew our credit was not very good. We told him we wanted to trade my husband's 06 chevy silverado truck in so we could get this car. He looked over the truck with us present and didn't try to hide anything that would decrease the value of the truck he marked anything he saw and pointed it out to us. He made sure we got top dollar for our trade it. He was very nice didn't push what he thought we needed for a vehicle. I told him we were looking for an Altima or Maxima something that was going to be good on gas. Since we arrived at the dealership late he didn't push us out the door when they closed at 8 just said they wouldn't be able to talk to a bank this late that we should come back tomorrow morning/afternoon to look at some cars to get a price that way they can talk to the bank. I told him before we left I saw an Altima on their website that I would be interested in looking at. He felt very confident that he could get us in a car even though we were trying to rebuild our credit. We didn't leave till 830 that night. So I went up the next day (without my husband since he was still at work but I took my mom with me) he remembered which car I was talking about and had the keys already for me to test drive. He offered to bring the car around since it was drizzling I told him that I would fine but thanked him for the offer. I looked over the car and drove it. I told him that this is the one I wanted. He didn't try to get me into another car he understood what I wanted and needed. We went in got the paperwork around and waited for my husband to get there so he could sign the paper work. They got us approved to get the car. While we waited he didn't push us out of his way to make another sale. He offered several times if we needed anything to drink. When my husband got there he wanted to look at the car before he signed anything and Mike took him out and showed him the car without complaint even though it was raining a little harder. He was very friendly and never once made us feel unwanted. Even the though they closed at 6 that day (Saturday) we didn't even leave till after 8. He stayed until we were finished with the finance guy. Asked if we had any additional questions about the car before he left for the night. We will be going back to Modern Nissan again for any other purchases in the future. As for Mike Adkins he was amazing! We kept him later at work two days in a row and didn't show his body language or tone of voice that he was annoyed with having to stay late! All around my experience was great! I highly recommend Modern Nissan as your next dealership and Mike Adkins as your Salesman!

I came to Modern Nissan on July 3rd because I had found a car online I was interested in, when I arrived I was greeted by Mike Adkins. Since it was hot outside Mike sat me in his office and walked across the car lot and drove the car to the front door and turned the AC on so it would cool down for me instead of having me walk around the lot and get into a hot car. When I didn't like the car Mike quickly recommended another car and repeated the process. During the test drive I noticed some road noise, instead of selling me the car then fixing the problem Mike and his sales manager fixed the problem then let me drive it again. Not once did they pressure me to buy the car before it was fixed. Mike even delivered it to my house on July 4th because I couldn't take it home that day. Mike Adkins and the entire staff at Modern Nissan of Lake Norman are truly professionals and I would encourage everyone to visit them if you are looking to buy a car.

I've been considering a new Nissan Leaf because of the distance I have to travel to and from work everyday and the amount of money I spend on gas. Even though the dealership worked out a great deal for me on the car and I was ready to buy, Jason Spruill insisted that I take the car home overnight to be absolutely certain I was comfortable with the car. The car's range on a full charge isn't much more than my drive to and from work, and he wanted to make sure I would not sweat the range on a normal working day.He was right, and I didn't have quite the range I thought I would. That is, the range on the car itself is fine, but I drive further on a day to day basis than I had previously thought. When I brought the car back, Jason completely understood my concerns and did not try to pressure me into finishing the sale and having to adjust my life around a new car, rather than the other way around. Where any other dealership and any other salesman would have been happy to just make a sale and xxxx the consequences, the integrity Jason Spruill and Modern Nissan of Lake Norman have is a refreshing change from the usual car buying experience.I did not buy a car from Modern Nissan. Not yet. But I would still recommend them as your first stop for an honest and fair car buying experience.

We went to this dealership after already checking out Toyota and Mazda. I was very impressed with everyone there; we mainly worked with Eric Carter, but we also spoke with the manager that was there as well as the finance guy, who were equally great. In comparing to the other dealerships, I found Eric and the staff there to be extremely respectful, patient, and were quite knowledgeable about the cars on the lot. Eric took great care in going through all of the features of the car we were interested in and answering all our questions. They were very helpful in keeping us within our budget, as this was unfortunately not a planned expense (last car blew up in the garage). I had never bought a car before myself and this was definitely an intimidating thing for me (luckily my husband has done this before), but they made it a relatively enjoyable experience. We will definitely be going back here for our next car and I have recommended them to my friends and family.

We visited the dealership on Tuesday in the heavy rain and were meet by Ray who was very friendly even though it was raining he answered my wife questions and let her choose the car she wanted that day. We returned on Thursday and were met by Ray again who introduced us to Mike another salesman who let my wife really get to feel the car she wanted he explained everything he could and got us a good deal on the price' Pat, who helped with the financing, got us a good interest rate and other little goody for service and warranties was very helpful and friendly. I first used Modern for service of a company truck. Service dept. was great to work with. We then used a groupon for NC inspections of our two cars and again the service dept was great to work with. When we decided to purchase a new mid size truck, Modern was one of the places we decided to look at since the service dept. was great to work with and we had looked at cars there before, but ended up going with a employer lease benefit. Not because of customer service, financial reasons we could not pass up. When we entered the dealership, Eric approached us and got some info as to what we were looking for. They had several trucks on the lot and the one we wanted to look at had just come in that morning. Eric found the keys, we took for a test drive and started talking numbers. In the meantime, the service dept took the truck and got it ready in case we bought. After some negotiating, we traded our 2005 van for a new Frontier. The truck was ready for us, cleaned up and fueled up. We were there for a few hours from start to finish, but that is part of the car buying process and we know it. I will continue to shop there and use the service dept. All in all, we had a very good experience and would recommend the dealership to others.

We were first greeted by our Salesman Eric Carter.... I guess the word salesman would be an in accurate title... I prefer to use genuine human being... Eric was by far the best representative of a dealership we have even encountered, caring, passionate and trusting... Yes, i know these words generally arent used inside a dealership, hence for the term genuine human being. Eric first welcomed us (wife and 8 year old and 11 year old boys) inside, sat us down and gathered information as to what exactly we were looking for, never once did he stray away from my needs to benefit his.... My wife and I located a vehicle that we really had serious interest in purchasing, however that vehicle was located at one of their sister dealerships in Raleigh NC, couple hours away. Eric would then explain to us that maybe we should test drive an identical Nissan pathfinder that has the same engine. The vehicle performed very well, which gave us a better feeling about the vehicle in Raleigh. Eric informed us that he could have that specific vehicle at his office the very next day so we could really see upfront and in person what we had interest in purchasing. Needless to say, we loved the vehicle that was brought down to us and began the financing and negotiations on the price. We had our bottom line figure right up front, we informed Eric this is what we want to pay, not a penny more, however a dealership is a business, they are there to make a profit as well, their employees are there to make a living, so draw your bottom line and stay firm, let them be the one to say we cant sell it at your price. Anyways, once we informed Eric of our number, with the going back and forth thing with his manager, finally a manger, not sure of his name, and wont call him out either came over to explain to us why he couldnt let the price go for what I wanted. He was a little pushy and a little arrogant, however I didnt let him take control of the situation, explained to him my bottom number and informed him that was it, not a penny more... Again, his attitude was negative, so be it, you need thick skin to deal with these guys. We attempted to leave just when he said hold on once again, and 2 minutes later Eric came back to us stating we got the vehicle at our price.... The place is great to deal with, other than that one manager, too bad for him.. I would absolutely buy another vehicle there and deal directly with Eric Carter, he was a great associate, went above and beyond for us, not only my wife and I but our kids as well.... It was a great experience, just too bad the manger put a kink in the whole experience. I will also be forwarding this review to Modern Nissan of Lake Norman Senior level Management staff and hope that any one reading this review doesnt get the negative impact from the manger that we received... Overall 2 thumbs up and the vehicle is a gem!!!!!!! Thank you again Eric, youre the man!!!!

I will not buy cars in the state where I live because the dealerships here add what is called a "local market adjustment" which is an addition of $2500 -$3000. I search online for the car I want, and that is how I found Modern Nissan of Lake Norman. The internet sales rep connected me with Mr. Carter, and we did the deal that evening over the phone. He told me what he would give me for my trade, left for a couple of minutes, and when he returned, he told me what my payment on my new car would be. I was at the dealership for a short time when I went to get my new car. It was well worth the three hundred mile drive, and I would do it all over again. Mr. Carter was completely professional and very helpful.

This dealership was wonderful. I saw the vehicle I wanted online and they worked with me thru email and on the phone to finalize the sale as I live about 4 hours from the dealership. When I arrived at the dealership to pick up the car it was late. The salesman was off that day but he came in and waited for me to get there. Before you buy a Nissan, you owe it to yourself to see Eric Carter at Modern Nissan of Lake Norman. After telling this mild-mannered sales rep the options we wanted in a Nissan Altima coupe, he seemed to morph into an over-protective dad searching for his teen daughter's first car. He gave us the pros/cons of every option/feature available, and pointed out things we'd given little thought to. We didn't find the right car on our 1st visit, nor the 2nd visit a week later; but by this time, we were so impressed with Eric's diligence & professionalism, we decided we wouldn't buy from anyone else without touching base with Eric. A few days later Eric found the exact car we wanted at a great price. Why couldn't this guy have been my Realtor?

After a lengthy period of doing the research comparing several similar vehicles from a couple of different manufacturers we decided on Modern Nissan of Lake Norman. We were not disappointed. Our salesman, Eric Carter, had an answer for every question and was very well informed on the details of our vehicle. He explained in detail everything we wanted to know - from all the bells and whistles on the inside to what brand of oil was in the crankcase. He even helped us with the bluetooth features which we had not previously used. When we met with the "finance guy", Mr Mezger, it was brief and friendly and he offered a ton of options. My wife and I sensed there was honest concern from both of these gentlemen for our satisfaction. I have purchased cars for over forty years and have never ended the experience satisfied until now.

In the market for a for a company vehicle and decided between GM, Ford or Nissan as my final selection. All tested fairly well but the Nissan and Ford drove a little more comfortably. Ashlee S. at Modern Nissan was wonderful listening to my concerns and answering confidently with good product knowledge and no pressure in moving the sale along at the speed I was comfortable with. She stays on point and when appropriate she mentions the advantages Nissan has over the specifics that were appropriate to me and my type of business. My experience with Modern Nissan was not a good one I would NEVER refer someone nor purchase a car from them. Two times we traveled from Charlotte for a vehicle from them. 1st time the salesman knew we where coming but never called to tell us the vehicle was sold. We called 30min before to say we where on our way. As I think back on the way they do buisness I don't believe the car was there anyway. Just a picture on internet to lure you in. 2nd time the car we desired to purchase wasn't even on lot let alone they told us via phone the deal was doable. When we got there it was a different story. They tried to sell us a car that had nothing of what we wanted. The saleman we spoke with was not there. We where lied to and treated as if we did something wrong. We gave Scott Clark our business. Got the car we wanted Certified and loaded. Modern nissan is not on my good business list at all. When you buy new car from a brand dealer (nissan, homda etc) it is not about the car for me. It is the people. The service. Modern was poor at their service with us. Even if I do no business with you if you treated me righr I STILL respect and will refer people to you. But after this experience they are off my list. Two times they fell short. Manager said he will take care of us from now on after those two incidents and we have yet to here back or even have an apology. No this is unacceptable. Done with Modern Nissan for life. My overall experience at Modern Nissan of Lake Norman was very good. There was no sales pressure at all. I was given a tour the service department. Everyone at the dealership that I had contact with was very friendly and personable. All the personnel involved with my purchase were very helpful. The amount of time from my arrival to driving away in a new vehicle was relatively short. I had a very satisfying experience.

I just purchased an NV200 cargo van through Modern Nissan's commercial department and I could not be more pleased. After dealing with other dealerships, I was wary of entering into negotiations about a new vehicle purchase. But everyone at Modern Nissan of Lake Norman was helpful, understanding and professional. Not once did I feel I was being "out-maneuvered" or taken advantage of. They were straight forward and, honestly, gave me the deal I wanted. the oil changed to a major motor mount repair. Brent the service member told me about it and I told him to fix it as I knew if they said something was wrong they would make it right, I was given a rental car to use till the next day. When I came to pick up my car it was fixed and drove like a new car again. I have a 06 Nissan maruno. They not only fixed my car but cleaned it thoroughly. It was a detail job and I was very apperceived. THANK YOU BRENT AND ALL AT LAKE NORMAN NISSAN FOR A VERY GOOD JOB AND NO WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING GOING WRONG !!

My husband bought a Nissan Frontier last week from Crossroads Nissan in Hickory. While we were there I test drove the new 2014 Versa Note. I really wasn't wanting to trade my '09 Pontiac G5 off yet, as it only had 54,000 miles on it. We had to make a trip back up to Hickory and while we were there my husband drove the Note and liked the way it handled. We had gotten a good deal on the Frontier, so we made an offer on the Note with my car as a trade-in. I wanted a Brick Red one, which they didn't have, so I checked on the internet and found one in Statesville at Classic Nissan to look at. We made an offer there, too, and couldn't deal. We went on down to Modern Nissan in Cornelius on Lake Norman and checked there. They were extremely helpful and we worked out a deal that beat both of the other dealers by $1200 at one and $700 at the other. We are very well pleased with both vehicles, but as for service or anything else we will drive the extra 30-35 miles to Modern and will recommend them to our friends and neighbors that are interested in purchasing a Nissan.

One of the repair men didn't tighten my screw when he changed my oil. My gasket busted when I was driving to work one day spilling oil all over the free way and other cars. Because of that I had to miss work due to an oil drainage. Told the service manager Karl Z about my situation brought it to this place and they inspected my engine for damage and repaired my oil pan and under neath my car. But everything came out normal. Thank God! Karl offered to pay 50% of insurance on maintanance on my engine if there was damage. He gave me $100 to use towards towards my car to get service. Ever since then I have had no problems. Daniel Parker, a great service tech always repairs my car and no one else. Who provids wonderful quality service. Makes you feel secure. This dealership employees fix minor repairs on my car for free and make it a point to keep me happy.

I started the conversation online and worked thru most of the negotiation process online and thru email. Whan I arrived at the dealership (by appointment), I was greeted warmly, the paperwork was in order, and the remaining finance details/options were thoroughly explained The Frontier I bought was prepped, gassed and waiting for delivery. The entire process took about an hour to complete including all paperwork and actual walk-thru of the truck's features. Even my 12 yr old daughter recognized we were having a good experience. Words like 'awesome', 'kinda fun' and 'these guys know what they're doing' were used. I explained that this is how buying a vehicle should be done, and it was the truth. I recommend LKN Nissan to those in the car market that know what they want, have invested a little time researching and can concisely explain to the sales staff what the transaction should look like and what is needed from their next vehicle. Do that, and the guys at LKN Nissan can make buying a car 'kinda fun'!

He didn't make me feel hurried at all. He actually said, "You've waited 13 years, you should find a car you will love to have for another 13 years." That's something a friend says, not a car salesman. He was available every time I called or emailed with a question. When I was ready to purchase, they walked me through the entire process. It was so low pressure, but such fast and fantastic service. I highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a vehicle. I drove away so happy, knowing I got a fair price and also received the best customer service in the industry.

I have been trying to get the outside molding of my car fixed for 4 months. This is a 2012 Nissan Altima that should not need any repairs since I bought it brand new. The first excuse i received from modern Nissan of lake Norman is they ordered the wrong part. The second was they ordered the right part but they would need to get it painted to match the color of the car. 4 months later and I'm still waiting for these people to get it right. How can anyone trust the maintenance of their car to someone who can't do something as simple as order a part and paint. I have spoken to Mike Guerriero on numerous occasions and the man should not work in a capacity that is customer oriented. He is clueless. I would not recommend service at modern Nissan of lake Norman to anyone. I paid for a service package when I bought my car......big mistake.

I looked at 4 dealerships to purchase my 2013 Altima and MNLN had the best price and selection for what I was looking for. Beware when they call you at home after dropping your car off. The Dealership called me and the gentleman told me they do a multipoint inspection and then lead into what additional areas of repair I should have. The multi Point inspection showed up on my bill as "Customer Request". I did not request the Mulit Point inspection. Make sure you tell them you do not require a Mulit Point inspection when the slip this into the conversation.

I spoke with Tyrone prior to arriving to the dealership as I wanted to look at a used car we happen to be looking for. I drove almost 3 hours to look at the vehicle and each time I called, someone was available to answer the phone and answer my questions. I was greeted by Tyrone when I arrived, and Tyrone and Jaye even stayed past closing to show me the vehicle and discuss financing. Tyrone answered all my questions about the vehicle, nothing was rushed. Jaye showed my typical finance rates for auto loans and beat my credit union rate. When the vehicle was picked up we received the same great treatment. I am highly satisfied with my experience with Modern Nissan.

My wife and I have leased or owned Nissans, excusively, since 1982. We owned a 2006 350Z, and we stopped at Modern Nissan to see if we could trade in our car for a pre-owned 370Z. We were greeted by Bud Neely, a sales representative. He showed us a 2010 370Z that had just arrived as a trade-in. He had us test-drive the car, and we loved it. Bud was able to get us a generous trade-in amount for our old car, and he worked out financing that easily fit into our budget. We wanted a day to think about it, and Bud even offered to let us take the car home overnight. We came back the next day and purchased the car. We were extremely pleased with the friendliness and professionalism of Bud and the finance department. We drove our new "Z" home after Bud patiently went over the operation of all of the features. This was a terrific buying experience, and I know that we will be happy with our new car for years to come.

We had a '07 Quest that served its purpose well and when it come time to upgrade we started out at Modern Nissan of Lake Norman. Although we were the second owners of the '07, it was purchased from Modern Nissan of LKN originally and had been serviced there for the most part. It is also the closest Nissan dealer to our house, and as being particular about our vehicles that was also important from the service aspect. From the time we entered into the dealership, everyone we encountered was extremely professional. I've been to car dealers that were pushy and just wanted to make a sale right now, throwing ethics out the window! Defintely wasn't the experience here. Matt greeted us and we were still undecisive as to what we wanted exactly. He was glad to pull out several models (Pathfinders, Quest) and go on a test drive as well as explain every function, option, and detail of the vehicle. He worked hard along with Todd, the sales manager, to get us the bottom line price we wanted. Let me reinforce this again, the most laid back and non high pressure deal I've ever experienced. Got a great deal and even better customer service. Deal was complete and were on the way home in less than 2 hours. They even stayed after hours to close the deal, and offered to stay and go through the entire delivery process, which includes going through the entire vehicle and answering any questions we had. Being reasonable and grateful for the service we received already, we opted to go back the next morning. Upon arriving, they were friendly to greet us once again and made it a priority to go through the delivery process and treating us as we were the only customer they had and taking all the time we needed, even though the lot was fairly full of customers. The salesman, Matt, even ensured we still had his cell number and said if we got home and had any questions at all, not to hesitate at all to call him. Will definitely use this dealer again and highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a vehicle. We drove away happy in our Quest, knowing we got a fair price and with the price we also received the best customer service in the industry.

I spoke with the internet saleperson Nikki the most professional person I have ever met, then I met Eric the saleperson, then Ken the person who handles the money and Todd the manager this team worked with me and within 2 hours I was out the door driving my 2012 Nissan Juke SV back to Raleigh NC, the drive was sweet.
