Service staff are always friendly, helpful and courteous. Waiting room is comfortable with a tv, beverages, snacks, magazines and comfy chairs and couches. Our salesman always makes a point to stop over and visit with us while we are waiting.

My salesman was Josh Mills. I had visited several dealerships and Josh was the only salesman to provide a complete overview of every function and feature my test drive had. He was the only one to go on the test drive with us. He selected a route that really gave a diverse sampling of how the vehicle handles different road types. He is very personable and was easy to work with. The sales manager and Josh had a no pressure sales approach. I did not end up purchasing the vehicle but I will be going back when I am ready to purchase.

My sales person, Jessica Bradford was wonderful! I was there with my son (4) and she was able to get me into the car I wanted while also keeping my son fromy dying of boredom. It's no secret that purchasing a car can take some time. That's because they wanted to get me the best financing possible and they did! While we were there Jess and everyone was so nice and pleasant. They were visiting with my son while we waited and gave him balloons, things to color, played with him while I was signing finance paperwork. I definitely will come to Montrose Ford for my next vehicle purchase!

My situation walking in to this dealership was a credit nightmare. Jess and Gus worked wonders and got me into a newer vehicle with a lower payment. They were honest and held nothing back. They got me approved and set me up with a better car that in the future set me up for the car I want in the future. Jess talked to me explained where they were in getting me approved and helped me print out items they would need right the on site. Britt made everything so easy even when she was technical issues with printing paperwork. She explained everything as I was signing the paperwork. She answered all my questions and concerns. Bill in service was a god send. He worked with me to get my new car into the shop and back to me so I didn't have to miss work. He addressed issues I listed and took care of the repairs as needed. I will definitely be back in the future.

My wife and I have bought many new and used cars from Ford dealers and none come close to Montrose Ford in Fairlawn.We had been to the dealer that we bought our last couple of cars from and had all our service work done at when we went looking at a new car. I knew the trade in value of our old car and we had a figure of what we wanted out of it. What they offered us was a total joke. Then the discounts on the new demo that we were looking at were not that good. I just happen to stop at Montrose Ford, They are a half hour from my house. I walked in and was greeted by friendly folks. I told them what I was looking for and what I had to trade in. After chatting a few minutes, they came with an offer. My mouth almost hit the ground. They doubled the amount that I was offered for my trade and discounted a new Explorer more than the demo I looked at the dealer I had been with. Again, they DOUBLED the amount of my trade. This amount was right in line with what I expected to get. The discounts on the new Explorer were just amazing. Something my old dealer said couldn't be done.To make a longer story short, the wife and I not only leased her a new Explorer but I wound up buying a used one for myself as well. We went looking for 1 car and came home with 2. For some folks it may be a longer drive to get here. You may pass several Ford dealers like I do to get there. It is a must for you to give these folks a shot at your business. If you want to be treated fair and get a great deal from friendly folks, this is the place. My sales man is David Cowan, the sales manager is Matt Palffy. Tell them what you want and they will make it happen! This IS my new Ford dealer and I am not afraid to recommend them to anyone!

I recently got a new job in downtown Cleveland and decided my F-150 would use too much gas and might be a tight squeeze in the parking garage too. I didn't give up my truck, but decided I needed a nice small car for the commute. I was referred to Bob McClure at Montrose. All I said to my friend was that I needed a no nonsense, fast, fair no trade deal for good used car. Don't we all? He said "Bob McClure". I went in to see him, and after a short "interview" he arranged for some test drives. I drove 2 cars and picked the Focus with 18,000 very clean miles on it. Bob made me very comfortable about the history and the deal. I had told him up front that I would be laying out my expectations and wanted no bouncing back and forth between the manager. No problem - completely met my expectations. That was last April. 7,000 miles later and my one free oil change later, I am very happy customer. THANK YOU Bob! Thanks also to the new car delivery team and the finance department.

My wife and I were traveling from Arizona to Minnesota to celebrate my brother and his wifes 50th Wedding Anniversary when our died 30 miles south of Montrose Colorado. Ford Roadside Assistance towed us to Montrose Ford Nissan where we were met by Mike Arendsee. I explained that we traveling and had to get to Minnesota for this special event. Mike said he would see what he could do and less than 2 hours later we were back on the road again!We want to thank the entire Montrose Ford Nissan staff for their excellent customer service and making what could have been a disaster for us just a small bump in the road!

I purchased a new Ford F-150 Patinum from Bob McClure and Jason Tomlinson at Montrose West. Both were incredibly professional. The vehicle was sitting out in front of the building ready for a test drive when I arrived. Bob was very knowledgeable and knew the product top to bottom. The entire buying process took only a few hours and was seamless. Bob also had a cache of Altoids which he readily shared during our brief but memorable verbal transactions. I saw a used 2013 Ford Mustang on Montrose Ford's website. They had just gotten the car in that morning so it hadn't even been cleaned up yet. From the moment I started working with my salesman Ray McMillan, I had a feeling we could get a fair deal done on my 2014 F150 STX. In the end, the folks at Montrose were able to work a deal on a new tonneau cover and do some additional cleaning on the interior. I've put 1,000 miles on the truck already and am very satisfied with my purchase and the vehicle itself. It rides and drives like new and I have the additional comfort of the Ford Certified Pre-Owned warranty. I will always keep Montrose Ford in mind when I'm looking for a vehicle.

After visiting the auto show I had a Mustang convertible on my short list so I visited Montrose Ford for a test drive. I met Will Sutton who went over all the bells and whistles of my new love interest and we went out for a test drive. Any question I had about this car, Will had the answer. I took the time (very little) to look at other models but returned later that week and had the car ordered in less than 20 minutes. I was told 4-6 weeks for delivery but I picked it up 9 weeks to the day after it was ordered - I don't fault the dealership, they have no control over the factory. Will kept me informed by tracking the VIN once assigned and he didn't seem to mind the crazy person texting him periodically to ask if a rogue Mustang showed up. I would have gotten a discount through my credit card company if I used a differnt dealership however that wasn't an option. Will worked on the price to make it comparable and still without a hint of pressure to buy. Will is so knowledgeable he made the whole process easy. When I arrived to take the new addition home Will was there to go over every feature and he made sure I could use everything properly. I had such a good experience I would recommend Will and Montrose Ford without hesitation.

After about ten years of faithful service, I had put about 100k miles on my dinky Ford Focus and figured it was time to retire the old girl before she started racking all kinds of needed repairs and other problems. When I asked about Montrose Ford I got a few referrals on salespeople and I was a little anxious about going in but wandered in on a Thursday. They were running on all cylinders. Lots of well-dressed folks going about their business. I barely even got in the door before I was flagged down and they started working with me. Josh Mills and I got it all squared out in probably a little less than two hours? Went on a little test drive and talked details, options, finances and such. They were even nice enough to offer me refreshments (though I had eaten right before I showed up) and all in all the whole process went really smooth. For spending a huuuuge chunk of cash, it ended up being a lot less stressful than I had originally anticipated. The car is great. They were great. It was a good trip. I'll keep in touch with 'em.

My sales rep, Josh, was great. I described what features I was looking for and he found several different options within my price range for a truck. He took the time to explain the pros and cons of all the features/options. A rental car was arranged for installation of my bed liner and bed cover. He also offered pick up and drop off at my house for a test drive, which really helped my personal schedule. Financing options were easy. Definitely would recommend to a friend or family member.

We went in for a recall notice we had received on my 2007 Ford Edge. Rick, the service technician, called and told us what the cost of other repairs would be. My husband and I went to the dealership and met up with salesman Bob McClure who helped us a great deal with finding a new vehicle to buy. We bought a 2014 Ford Escape from Bob and he was very helpful during the process and afterward in showing me how to operate things on my new vehicle. Dan Russell was excellent! He listened to what we had to say and paid close attention to detail. He was extremely knowledgeable. He understood how valuable our time restrictions were (having three kids 4 and under makes it difficult to get the entire process completed without a hiccup). We set up an appointment to test drive the vehicles, We then came back after we agreed upon a price, finance was a breeze; all of the paperwork was ready for me to sign and there was zero waiting. This has been the 4th vehicle that we have purchased through Montrose Ford. Not only was our salesmen a pleasure to deal with but, the entire dealership has been great to deal with over the years too. I would highly recommend Montrose Ford.

I turned in my leased 2013 Explorer a week ago. I wasn't too happy about it because I loved that SUV! Due to cutting back, I downsized to a 2016 Fusion. "Our" guy, is Rick Wallace. We've known him for years, and have gotten a few different vehicles off of him. He is absolutely wonderful! He's knowledgeable, helpful, and made this so easy! Knowing I was bummed about turning in my SUV, he assured me that I would love the Fusion, and got me one with everything in it that my Explorer had, with some additional things, for a great price, and was totally correct! CAR SAYS "Give em' a second chance." You know what they say, first impressions are lasting ones. If you read my previous post, you know I was not a happy camper. However, the car I desired was still for sale, and I must admit, after extensive research, it was a good deal. After the incident, a dealer contacted me asking for feedback. I explained the situation, and the dealer was very apologetic. He promised the car would be available to test drive and give me the attention I deserved. After thinking about the whole ordeal, I decided to give them a second chance and scheduled an appointment. When I arrived, Al, the general manager, and Julian, the salesman, were waiting outside for me. Julian was very professional and answered all of my questions. I inspected the car, and made an offer. The negotiation process was daunting, however, Dave, who I believe was a manager, agreed to a price in the middle and the deal was settled. While waiting for the paperwork, Al, bought us lunch and soon after, I was on my way with my 2013 Ford Taurus. By the way, it is loaded with all the newest technology and a nice sunroof. Al, Dave and Julian turned a negative situation into a positive satisfying one.

I did some research for a certified pre-owned 2013 Ford Taurus Limited. I viewed several websites and selected the car I wanted. The car was located at Montrose Ford Fairlawn, in Akron Ohio. I contacted their company and asked if the car was available for a test drive. I explained I lived almost 2 hrs away and I was looking to purchase my next vehicle. Customer service stated the car was available to view, ready to test drive, and suggested I schedule an appointment. I scheduled the appointment and was instructed to meet a particular sales rep when I arrived. When I walked in, I was greeted with a sales rep. I said that I had a scheduled appointment to see a particular person. The sales rep stated the person I requested was the general manager, and he didn't have time to see all of the customers. So he decided he was going to help me and began by asking personal information. I immediately showed him the Carfax report and the description of the car. He ignored me, until I stated I drove 2 hrs to see this exact car and did not have much time to waste. He say okay, requested my license, and then left to get the keys. I was instructed to meet him outside. After 5 minutes, he walked up to me and stated the car was not available, and it must be on a test drive. So, again I explained that I traveled far and had an appointment. I asked when will the car be available to drive. He leaves and then returns stating that the Owner's son is driving the car temporarily. (So, that indicates that someone's son is possibly racking up the mileage in the car which could possibly sustain more wear and tear.) The sales rep tried to pressure me into test driving other cars, and had the nerve to ask about my financing. I completely lost interest and left. NOTE: Please do not settle for what THEY want you to buy! After all, it is you who will be making the payments for something you really don't want.

Although I am a Chrysler Man, I purchased a 2015 C Max from Rick Hammer at Montrose Ford...overall, it was a good experience...Rick was very professional to work with...no games...in the end, I was able to purchase the car - in under an hour - at a fair price...the C Max is a great car...if you are considering a Toyota Prius, I would strongly encourage you to test drive a C Max...might be the best kept secret on the road...an American car - built in Detroit - that gets well over 40 MPG...we have gotten nearly 50 MPG during short trips in city traffic...unbelievable.

I was very nervous when I entered Montrose Ford this weekend to purchase a car. I have had credit issues issues in the past, and other dealerships have been pushy and condescending. When I walked in I was greeted by Will Sutton. He immediately put me at ease with his friendly demeanor and I began to relax. At no time did I feel pushed or that he was trying to "sell" me on anything. He was very knowledgeable and patient with me. In the end, I received a fair value for the car I traded in and drove out of there in the best car I have every owned! After finding the truck I wanted online, I set an appointment at the dealership and met with Jon Krupp. We drove the used truck I wanted to see and a new one for comparison. For the value I chose the 2 year old F150. It had all of the features I was looking for and Jon made the transaction smooth and seamless. It was a bittersweet moment to trade in my 2003 Ranger with 302000 miles on it, but my Wife & I decided it was time. This new F150 is my 7th Ford (Including my Wife's current 2 Fords). I have owned 24 cars so far in my life including Chevy's, Cadillac, Honda, Dodge, Jeep, and of course Ford. I like Ford's styling, quality and reliability and I don't care to every drive anything but a Ford at this point. Especially after my Ranger has been such a reliable work horse! My old Ranger still has some life in it and hopefully will provide service for someone else, but with my work, I needed a larger truck to keep driving the miles I drive each year. Thank you Jon and Dave for making this purchase stress-free and easy to complete. After starting out in Canada, this F150 will end up in Florida! Thanks again!

We stopped into the Montrose Ford Dealership to see the Ford Flex sport utility vehicle in order to determine if it would suit our needs as a senior couple with some mobility needs. We were greeted by a fantastic smile which belonged to Chris George, Sales Professional. He listened intently to our bucket list of wants and needs which included some issues with mobility and lack of agility due to medical issues. We "tried on" a couple of models including the Ford Flex and Explorer. We loved both vehicles but my 6'3" hubby, a Parkinson patient, had a bit of difficulty clearing the "floor lip" when entering the vehicles. Chris George recognized the problem immediately and suggested we try one of the models with a flat surface floor entry. In a very short time, Chris George found the perfect vehicle with easy entry access that met almost all of our "wish list". In no time at all the Montrose team banded together to make the purchase of our vehicle a rather seamless matter. I was amazed at how quickly the process was handled. Once we made the decision to purchase our new wheels, we witnessed a "well oiled machine" which included Chris George, Chris Mills and Rick Hammer go into action to make the dream vehicle ours. Chris George never left our side and facilitated the entire process. A big Thank You to the "Dream Team" of Montrose Ford.

I bought my Hybrid Escape 10 years ago from Montrose and have had all of my service done there. Aside from some body work where it was unclear if it would be covered under warranty, I have had an excellent experience each time. Even then time the guys in the body shop ended up making it right. Butch, Rick, Andre and the service department are great. Just went back to buy a new F150. Jonathan Krupp was my salesman. While he is just getting started, he is already very knowledgeable about his products, easy to work with and very friendly. Rick Hammer is taking over for Charlie Ault in accessories and was every bit as easy to work with and helpful as Charlie was. Trisha in the office had me done signing papers in 20 minutes, an event that has literally taken HOURS at other dealerships. Overall, a great team to work with.

I bought a Certified Pre-Owned SUV in May 2014. My overall experience with the purchasing of the vehicle was excellent! I have no complaints whatsoever with anyone in the sales department. The service department on the other hand...I was not happy. My vehicle currently has 23,000 miles on it. Two weeks ago I had it towed into the dealership due to my engine overheating. After 2 days of it being in there (and me having to keep calling to check on the status of it) they couldn't seem to find anything wrong with it. The only thing they could "think" could have been wrong was the cooling fan. I was charged the deductible for a new one. A few days later, it ended up overheating AGAIN and took it back. Something was mentioned over the phone to me about the thermostat and them having to order one. After another 2 days...they still couldn't find anything wrong with it and the thermostat wasn't replaced. They said if it happened again to bring it back in. NO THANKS...on to the next dealership for service next time! Then to make matters even better...I get in my vehicle when picking it up to find that the low fuel light was on and didn't even have enough gas to get me home. Thanks for galavanting around town in my vehicle trying to find something wrong with it, and not replacing the gas when it was at 1/2 a tank when I brought it in. They must treat thermostats like "gold" in that place. For $7 at the auto parts store...I took the liberty of changing it myself! I was obviously given the run around and will not be doing service there again!

Bob McClure was the best salesman I could have ever asked to work with! He catered to my needs, my knowledge and my budget. He was friendly, honest and helpful. I was definitely nervous going into such a big purchase but Bob helped make the experience as simple as possible - working to find the car that best fit what I wanted, while also staying well within my budget. Charlie Ault was great to work with on adding accessories to my car. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no forcible sales tactics. Just a brief overview of what was available to me and any further information I ased about! Mike Sandy was also just as helpful in getting my financing coordinated, and even worked to to get me keep me within my within my budget while still getting an extended warranty. Overall, it was an amazing car shopping experience and I will definitely be choosing Bob McClure and Montrose Ford for any future car purchases!

Overall, I've always been skeptical of the car buying process, as it usually connotes the need for wariness and skepticism. With purchases as large as a car payment, it is necessary to be overly cautious and defensive, as a person could easily find him/herself in financial debt. I recently went with my girlfriend to test a car from Montrose. She had found this car on the internet several days prior. We had previously agreed upon a monthly payment range in which she felt comfortable. Ready to barter and haggle, we went into the dealership, understanding that we might have needed to vocalize our resolve in staying within our range. We were anticipating several tense and awkward moments, ready to avoid the temptations to over-purchase. However, it was an incredibly easy and painless process. Our salesperson - Bob McClure - respected the entirety of our "wish list" in a car. He never once strayed from the limits which we had initially set - we ended the monthly payment at the exact level we wanted, and with a better car than anticipated. Throughout the entirety of the process, Bob was helpful, amiable, and even provided great financial insight into how to manage the payments. I truly felt as though he was interested in providing the best car for our budget, and spent a considerable amount of time in helping us do so. While I enjoyed the location, building, and selection of cars available at Montrose, the truly outstanding feature was indeed the personnel. I trust our salesman, and will undoubtedly be returning for another purchase.

Went in looking for a new pickup, which is not so easy to do when the dealership has several new 2015 Mustangs in the showroom and immediately outside! Tim Krupp, my salesman, knew right away what I was after; we cut to the chase and got to business. The dealership has a rather large selection, the showroom is clean and aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and the sales team know their product and wouldn't lead you in the wrong direction. I decided on 2014 F-150 and Tim and I quickly reached an acceptable deal. The truck has been great and I couldn't be happier.

I went in with transmission problems,it turned out to be major,n big time cost . But the service manager worked with me and matched the cost of another transmission shop,n got me a P U to drive when the work took longer than expected. He saved our Christmas!. But then 3 days later my back up lights went out I thought it was a connection,nope light scocket s where corrosioed. But Rick replaced a bulb clean the connections got them working, but then. Santa Rick wouldn't charge me! Did it for Santa shakes! Thank you Montrose N Merry Christmas!!! To you ALL !!!

I live in Wooster and work in Akron, I had a headlight go out for the second time in a year and no one in my hometown would go out of their way to help me. I stopped by to test drive a Ford Escape as I will be receiving one as my new company car and I wanted to know what to expect. Upon arriving at Montrose Ford, Andrew Krupp immediately greeted me and asked me how he could help me. My experience with Montrose Ford started out very well. I am not happy with the way I was treated by Mr. Kneebush and whomever the Owner or General Manager of the establishment. The deal was done, all the papers were signed and we were getting ready to walk out the door with Mr. Baker and I was approached by Mr. Kneebush that I needed a check or we couldn't take the car. I am the one who initially said I will put the deposit down now and we would do the paperwork and this was 11/10/14 and I would bring the remainder of the down payment on Thursday, 11/13/14 and we would get the car then. But, Mr. Kneebush insisted that I put the deposit now and bring the balance on Thursday, No Problem and he insisted and I finally said ok. But as we were leaving he said he had spoken with the Owner/General Manager and he was told to get a Good Faith Check. That made me very angry and I felt disrespected. I don't believe any other customer has ever been treated this type of way. I initially said wait until Thursday and for him to come back after everything had been signed and also I did not get the car fax report until after the papers were signed and he said that was not done intentionally. My son is happy with the car and if it was not for him, I would have not gone through with the deal. I can not put into words how I truly felt.

I was in the market for a van with certain features. Tim diligently checked everyday until he found exactly what I was looking for. He even brought the vehicle to my house for a test drive. I have small children and with my work schedule I could not make it to the dealership. Easiest car buying process I've ever had. I later returned for a oil change and the maintenance department was very courteous of my time (I had the kids) and was very accommodating. Tim has a good eye for quality cars. You'd think purchasing a car would be easier nowadays with all the information floating around on the internet. After making the rounds to most of the major dealerships in the Akron area, I was relieved when I finally met the folks at Montrose Ford. I worked with Ed Fender and, let me tell you, he certainly put my mind at ease when it came to buying my first new car in many years. Ed cut through the nonsense and sold me on my needs rather than feeding me lots of useless information like many other places have. He was able to show me what features in these new Fords can make my life easier and took his time explaining how everything worked once I bought my new Focus. That was another thing I really appreciated about the team over at Montrose - I didn't feel abandoned after I made my purchase. Ed spent a lot of time with me and was happy to work around my schedule. I feel confident in knowing that I would be well taken care of should I have any questions in the future.

I hate buying cars. I just do --- never been mis-treated, but hate the time it takes to compare, shop, negotiate, etc.. However, you could say I almost love Montrose Ford. Henry Baker made my car buying easy. I enjoyed the process, courtesy and time that he shared with me to help me make the best decision, based on size, style, affordability and timing for a down payment. Henry and I met a couple months ago. He was friendly, helpful and cheerful in explaining the features of SUVs such as the new model Explorers, Escapes, and Edges. He graciously shared his time allowing me to test drive several models. Henry stayed in touch until my time to purchase was right. I very much appreciate his thoroughness and non-pushy but attentive assistance. I never felt a strong need to shop anywhere else. In fact my final choice was a used ESCAPE, priced slightly below Kelly Blue Book---its so easy to price shop on the phone, you know. I really trust that he helped me make a great decision. Sales manager David also personally connected with me on two visits -- much appreciated. At the end, Henry introduced me to the service manager and set up a complimentary oil change. I look forward to visiting often for great service and seeing Henry in a few years to purchase a new Explorer or another SUV. BUYER BEWARE- was in process of purchasing new internet advertised vehicle today. I was paying full advertised internet pricing and after 1 1/2 hrs of dealing on when to pick up vehicle, the associate and manager Tom Mocarski came back with " cannot sell this vehicle for the advertised price". My wife phoned back and Tom stated " Maam you cannot expect us to sell this vehicle for that price, read the disclaimer that is why it is put on there". My wife stated this is false advertisement and he insisted that they could not do anything about the deal. Tom was very hesitant to give owners name after asking several times and finally stated " Chris Mills is the general manager and if you have a problem call him tomorrow". Contacting Ford directly as I am sure they would not appreciate this type of handling with their products. They definitely need to reconsider this franchise. Would absolutely make me choose a different brand for a new truck. Disgusted!!

Montrose Ford has the best customer service around. I brought my truck in for service and did not want to sit around waiting so I walked around trying to kill time. I had been thinking about getting an F-250 diesel truck and wanted to find someone to help me see if the truck is able to fit in my garage. I walked up to a sales person(Alvin) and started asking many questions. While he had told me he is new to selling cars, he was a big help as he asked around for the dimensions I needed. As I told him the truck needs to fit in my garage, he was nice enough to offer to bring one over if I had the time to drive it back home since I stay around the area. I ended up finding out it did not fit and thanked him for his time. I did not purchase the truck but I just wanted to let everyone know Montrose Ford has the best customer service around.

Alvin was a great help to me when I first walked into the dealership. I told him that we were just looking and unlike most salesmen we have dealt with he was not pushy at all. Our salesperson, Brittany Faix, was THE best experience with the Montrose Ford dealership. While I did find a car I am happy with, Brittany made the entire experience measurably better than it would have been without her. Brittany is extraordinarily kind, friendly and sweet. She is a true asset to the dealership and they should count themselves lucky to have her. She had a very good understanding of what we were looking for and knowledge of what she was selling us. She was not the typical salesperson trying to shove us into something we did not want or need, instead she worked to find something we would be happy with and able to afford. If there was ever an honest to goodness sales person Brittany would fit the bill. She kept a very personable conservation going on throughout the transaction making us feel as thought we were buying from a trusted friend rather than a complete stranger. After the purchase was made she continued to keep contact while the finer details were ironed out between myself and the dealership to ensure that she personally finished the sale. We had a TERRIBLE experience at Kerry Ford in Cincinnati, where we live, and decided to drive up to Akron to give Montrose Ford a look, since they had a car that matched our specs in stock. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by smiling faces and excellent service. Kyle was our salesperson, rode with us on our test drive and was truly amazing. he even took out of his way to see LeBron's house knowing we weren't from the area. Just an amazing experience overall. Though it is a 3.5 hr drive from our house, Montrose has earned our future business.

I just purchased a certified pre-owned Lincoln MKZ from Montrose Ford in Fairlawn and I have absolutely no complaints about my experience! My salesman was Dan Russell and he was very professional and competent. Dan explained everything thoroughly and made sure he answered all of my many questions. Bought a used explorer from Montrose Ford Last Week. I usually dislike the atmosphere at dealerships, but Montrose Ford and my Salesman Peter were both a pleasant surprise. It was friendly and they really seemed like they wanted to find me what I wanted not just sell me a car. When I first went to Montrose Ford I knew that I wanted a car with great fuel efficiency, but I did not know much about hybrids. After Jarod E (my salesman) explained to me the benefits that a hybrid provides and got me a lease that fit into my budget, I was sold! My car rides like a magic carpet and gets better gas mileage than I ever expected! The process was quick and easy, I never once felt any pressure to buy, and everyone from Jarod to Chris Mills (the manager) to Trisha (the finance manager) was very professional and courteous. I am 24 and have been working as an engineer for 2 years. Went into the ford dealer looking at the ford focus st. I am young looking, and they immediately asked if I was 18. Long story short, they wouldn't give me a test drive and showed no interest in me. They explained how young people come in all the time looking for joy rides with their "performance vehicles". While the ford focus st is a sportier commuter, I would definately not describe it at the same level as their rousch tuned mustangs, which they did. I have never been treated with such disrespect from any other dealer that I went into.

Walked into Montrose Ford in Fairlawn and was welcomed immediately. I worked with Kurt Wagner and it was one of the best experiences I have had in purchasing a new vehicle. Kurt had us sit down and go over everything that I was looking for and why I choose to walk into Montrose Ford that day. I was looking for a 2014 AWD Fusion. Only one model comes with that feature so it was easier in that way. Kurt got a little bit more information about me and brought the conversation from business people working together to friends talking about cars and other topics. I enjoyed the feeling that it was more of a friendship instead of a sales pitch. Took a test drive and loved the car and happened to mention that I was curious about an Escape also and he asked me if I wanted to take the test drive instead of me asking him. Never mentioned anything about if I was going to buy or lease the car just wanted to make it an enjoyable experience. Once it was determined what car I wanted of course we had to narrow down the choice. I went with leasing and had a trade as well. Brought me the trade value and price of the car and worked with me to get a price that was more comfortable. After all that there was an incident and instead of not telling me or just trying to cover it up the manager came up and was completely honest with me and went above and beyond to make my experience the best. Everyone I worked with was fantastic and would recommend Montrose Ford to anyone and everyone. Ask for Kurt he will make sure your experience is great! Let him know I sent you!

I saw an ad on TV called Crazy 88. It said u can get a new car or used for $88 Dollars down & $88 per month. I called the 800 number and it connected me to ford in Montrose. I said this cant be true they, said it is.I said the whole 6.5 month term it is $88 dollars he said yes it is no joke. I drove an hour to get there. The nice sales guy said I was lied to it is only the 1st 3 month. its 88 then it goes up to full pymt per month for the rest of the term of the. Beware of this scam.I cant believe they get away with stuff and people put up with them. I guess its called the American way... How rude to lie and waste my time!

I received a coupon in the mail from Ford and was curious about a new Fusion. My wife's VW happened to be in the body shop at Montrose Ford for some repair work and I decided to go upfront and look at a Fusion. I was greeted by Amedeo who showed me all of the features of the new Fusion and then allowed me to take a test drive. I fell in love with the car on the test drive. When I got back to the dealership Chris, Amedeo, and Tom made the sales process painless and dare I say, even enjoyable! My kids left with balloons (thanks Charlie), where treated to popcorn and beverages, and even enjoyed their time at Montrose. After we arrived at agreeable numbers, Charlie and Keith helped to finalize my purchase. My information was treated with care and respect the whole time. Financing was quick and very fair. I have purchased several new cars and this was one of the best experiences I have had. If you are looking for a New Ford or a nice pre owned car, I would go see Amedeo at Montrose Ford. They also do pretty awesome body work if you need the services of a body shop as well!

I went in over the weekend to look around and see what my options were to purchase an Escape or an Edge. Kurt was the first to greet me, and he made me so comfortable from the start. I was making my first car purchase completely on my own (which is very nerve-racking!!) After test-driving a few options, Kurt recommended that I go home and sleep on my decision. He was not pushy in any way, and I felt no pressure to hurry and make a decision. I returned the following day and Kurt met me before the dealership officially opened. Kurt worked so hard to make sure that I was comfortable with my payments, and that I was making the best choices for my situation. I never once felt like he did not want to work as hard as he could to find the right car for me. I absolutely LOVE my new car, it has everything (and more) that I could ever want, and I was thoroughly convinced that wouldn't happen unless I bought completely new. Here I am in a used vehicle and from the greeting, looking at options, test-driving, negotiations, signing papers, to pulling out of the dealership's driveway inside my new car, this experience was made easy with Kurt. He has a great, easy-going personality and was an absolutely pleasure to work with. Kurt has just earned a long-term customer for all my future purchases.

Being new at this I was a little nervous and not sure what questions to ask. Dave got to know me and my needs and used his knowledge to help narrow down a few cars that are right for me. I had been searching for a new Super Duty in my price range for over a year. Finally, I found one at Montrose Ford. I stopped in to look at it on a Friday. Antoinette Marotto greeted me at the door & we began what is the usually painful process of buying a new vehicle. It was anything but! Antoinette was extremely helpful & answered all my questioned. Even questions that she didn't have an answer for or was unsure of, she never once just said that she didn't know. Within minutes, she would have a definitive answer. We worked out a deal on a truck & I left with the plan to complete the transaction the following morning. Antoinette was leaving for vacation that evening so, she passed me off to Dave Hooser. He was just as helpful! That evening I began to regret my choice of trucks. I wanted the one sitting next to the one I had decided on earlier in the day. When I came back the next morning, I dropped the bomb on Dave. He didn't miss a beat, he redid the paperwork in no time and passed me off to finance. The folks in finance were no less helpful! I wish I could remember their names, sorry! Last but not least was Jennifer in accessories, she set me up with everything I wanted & gave me prices on a bunch of stuff I want to buy as my finances will allow. One rarely walks out of a dealership with a new vehicle feeling like they got the deal of the century, I did walk out feeling like I got a fair deal.

I showed up at Montorse Ford when I thought they would be closed to start my car "research" process. They opened and I was approcahed by Kurt Thomas. He was very courteous (no pressure what so-ever and no hard sell tactic at all), very knowledgable about the cars, was obervant as to what I needed and what would be my best option to fit those needs- could answer all my questions- and could even explain many options to finance in the event I needed them. What a breath of fresh air! Even further, the remaining staff from the finane team (making the actual negotiation very pleasant) all the way through the after-market, Jennifer, where so pleasant to deal with, I was pleased to buy the car right then and there! What a breathe of freash air from other dealerships I have dealt with in the past. After sitting at many car dealerships for the last few months, I went into Montrose Ford last week and left with a brand new Ford Fusion! Let me just say, I love my new ride!!! On top of my awesome ride, was the absolutely wonderful service I got from Antoinette, the saleswoman who helped me through the whole process and the rest of the Montrose Ford team. I went into the dealership expecting the worst from my past experience, but the people here were fast, honest, funny, altogether great people to go through this process with! I asked a friend for a reccomendation on a car dealer and without hesitation he said, "Montrose Ford in Fairlawn." When I arrived, I was greeted with a smile and a handshake from one of the sales reps. He had an appointment on their way so he directed me to his co-worker, Antoinette Marotto. Antoinette was happy to help me in selecting cars, doing tests drives, and tuned into what I really liked and needed in a new vehicle. Within a couple hours I had made my decision. Chris Mills and Steve in the finance department helped to get the best rates available for me. Carlie Auth walked me thorugh warranty information and items that would protect my new car, and Tricia graciously walked me through the rest of the paperwork. Unfortunately, I had the engine of my VW Jetta seize up on me as I was driving home from work one day on a busy Cleveland highway. After I had spoken with Dave Miller at Montrose Ford in Akron, I knew that I could trust him to find a vehicle that would be a perfect fit for me. My main concerns were to find a small 4 door sedan that had great gas mileage and would be affordable to maintain. A couple of days later, Dave called me to tell me that he had found the perfect car for me, It was a 2005 Ford Focus. Though this car had been used, it had new tires and the front brake routers had just been replaced by Montrose. It was in great condition and very easy to drive. I was pleased with it. While I was at the dealership, I was treated with VIP status. I was offered plenty of refreshments and everyone was very friendly. At the end of my visit, I was spoken to about all of the additional warranties that I could purchase for my car. This associate was very easy to talk to. She seemed more concerned about engaging me about all additional protection programs, rather than having me purchase additional warranties before I left that day. I really appreciated that and would really like to take part in some of those additional warranties in the near future. I am not very well educated about cars and car terminology. I was happy that she was very understanding and still capable of answering all of my questions. Once I went to sign all official paperwork, the last associate that I spoke with was also very helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed speaking with her as well. It was brought to my attention that I would have a 36,000 mile or 3 year warranty to accompany my new vehicle. I was surprised but very happy, that they offered that. All of my former cars either came with no warranty or had one that only lasted 1 year. She also confirmed, but Dave had told me this previously, that if I chose Montrose for all car maintenance needs, that my first oil change would be free. Dave also gave me a booklet filled with many other maintenance offers. I really feel like Dave went out of his way to get me a terrific vehicle. I could not thank him enough for all of his help. I will definitely be back.

Montrose Ford GM Turns Down My Ford A Plan BusinessHorrified by our experience at Montrose Ford. Couldn't tell if finance guy Al Morse was arrogant or just incompetent, but after giving us our Ford A-Plan price quote, called and said he was off by $150 - per payment. When we returned to talk to him, he crumpled up the quote, put it in his pocket, and told us we were done there. A true professional! We reached the store GM, Chris Mills, by phone and he literally told us he did not want to do business with us. We have the Ford A-Plan; God help regular customers! Buyers stay away from the unprofessionals employed at Montrose Ford in Fairlawn, Ohio!

When I first entered the dealership I saw a popcorn machine and thought "where's the peanut vendor for this Circus"? I don't mean to be demeaning but my past experiences with auto Dealerships are to blame for that. Once inside I was surprised to see how roomy, well lit and clean it is. I was also surprised to see two motorcycles that caught my attention (yeah... I ride). I was introduced to Amedeo and after a few minutes we were headed to the car for a test drive. Once back inside the dealership Mr. Marino put together some numbers that I found acceptable long story short, this dealership was able to help ME,( a massive stroke survivor who is putting his life back together) by getting me financing! I also enjoyed sitting with Charlie and listening to music while we looked over options for the vehicle. In summary, their motto is ""You've got friend at Montrose. As I left the lot (in my new vehicle) I truly felt like I had a friend, and they have a customer for life

I went here for a simple oil change after purchasing my pre-owned Focus in late 2010, and ended up waiting for 2 HOURS on this simple procedure. They kept calling my boyfriend's name instead remembering that I was the one who brought it in, and then when I asked about my trunk latch not working (also something I brought up while on my test drive with Rich), their service manager (Rick Thurman) attempted to send me on my way without explanation. I went back and was told he couldn't get the problem to occur. I got one of his guys to test & vouch for me, at which point Rick lazily wrote my info down & promised to call. He never called, and the latch is still faulty. I would never visit their service department again, and I called them to this effect only to have some manager there (Randy Dorco) defend his repair supervisor & tell me noone complains about him, he's been there for years and years, and that he's not concerned. No joke, that's what he said. WTH? Then I wrote a letter to the facility manager (Mike Thompson Sr), who never even bothered to reply. Now they continue to spam me with promotions and will never call back when I leave messages (for someone named Vinnie) about being removed from their databases. They won't even call me back about having my social security number in their computers (which they carelessly left out one day in someone's unlocked desk attached to a set of keys I was picking up). Bottom line, they were ok to buy from - if you can handle not being able to view prices while in the lot - you have to play "the game" to the fullest extent at Montrose Ford, as they won't even tell you openly what the price is. But I feel like I got a good deal and I do love my car. However, I would never trust them to have any sort of follow-up or customer service after the fact. Once you buy from them, don't expect them to ever talk to you again. Honestly. Sorry, but there's no "friend in Montrose".

I purchased my 2013 Titanium Focus Hatchback and I am happy at the pump. It is a lot of fun to drive. It is a big change from my Ridgeline and I did miss my truck during the last snowstorm. I had a good experience with our Salesman Mike Wonov for the purchase of my new vehicle. The used car sales manager made the entire process a bit more drawn out than it needed be in my opinion. I understand everyone has a bottom line, but at the end of the day it is the customer's bottom line that makes the sale for the day. That was my only complaint for the sale. Charlie the accesory salesman was kind enough to deliver my all weather mats to my sister's house so there would be no further delays. Thanks Mike and Charlie.

I had been to several dealerships beforehand, and driven several variants of the car, so I had a pretty good idea what I wanted going in. Dave was VERY thorough, if anything too thorough as I was already pretty familiar with the cars, and extremely nice and responsive. Went for a thorough test drive, and really let me control the experience, which isn't true for many dealerships. If I had a question, he answered it directly, and if he didn't know off hand he found the answer. The price was also very competitive. If you're looking at a Ford, used or new, I'd really recommend Dave and the dealership.

I stopped into Montrose Ford to test drive the new 2013 Fusion. I saw it at the auto show and really wanted to try out that new eco boost engine. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door by salesman Jeremy Gray. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We went for a test drive and I was really surprised about how well the engine accelerated on the on ramp. I didn't know a V4 could do that kind of get up and go. While searching for an used Ford Excursion on Cars.com. I found an vehicle at Montrose Ford Akron. I emailed them they responded with an email and a call. We set up an 6:00 appointment for the same day to look at the vehicle. After leaving work i drove to Akron which is an hour and a half drive from my job to the dealership. Upon arrival i asked for the saleslady in which i spoke with earlier that day. I was told " she had left for the day". Furthermore the vehicle in which i was inquiring of had just been "sold"! I was highly upset that the dealership did not have the decency to contact me before our appointment letting me know the vehicle was gone. Seeing that gas is 3:60/gallon. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone who is searching for a Ford. Search other establishments.

I been to this ford dealer a few times and all the times i went i had great salesman that really honestly try to get you exactly what you went i had noel that would keep me updated about the cars that came i to the lot that fit my price range and my family then i had a guy named john take the time to teach how to drive stick shift that was really awesome then there mr cooper he can work his magic and get you in a car being i been up there a few times and my credit is not the best he knew what i what working but at the same time wanted to get me in a good car but some how some way he was able to and most time if you got bad credit your looking at a 2006 112,000k car but not here but the salesman who sold me the car that i have now is carl great salesman i send five hours with him because i test drive about 4 cars that day and the whole time he let me take my time didnt rush me really help me find what i needed and wanted and the thing is too is alot easier listen to a salesman when they talk to you like a uncle or so because then you forget they are trying to sale you a car and think that they come with you to the lot as someone who you ask to come as friend to help you find a car thanks to carl and if your gonna but a used or new car go to montrose ford they got a great team

My wife and I visited Montrose Ford and were immediately greeted by Jeremy Cook who opened the door for us and showed us he wanted to help us. We had a deal offer from another dealership on a car we weren't 100% about but knew we had to take the deal if Montrose Ford couldn't get us into what we actually wanted for the right price. Jeremy took charge of the situation and did everything he had to do to make sure we drove away in the car we needed. I was also impressed by how willing he was to go and get the answers we needed if he didn't have them right away. Perhaps most important to me was that he made sure I always had a fresh cup of coffee! Lastly, his follow up with us after the sale has been outstanding. He really wanted to make sure we were happy. This experience was really pain-free and I will likely be back to talk to Jeremy when I am ready for another purchase.

Jeremy Gray at Montrose Ford really helped me out with my purchase of a new Ford Fusion Hybrid. Getting close to 40 mpg on my drive to work and seems to be creeping up a little each day as the engine gets broken in. The ride and handling are great and the interior space is great. The transition from EV to regular mode is seamless and the only real difference from a non-hybrid that I notice is that it is quieter. A couple of people that I know that are generally anti-Ford have told me that they really like the styling of the car, especially the redesigned front end and the lines down the side. People dont expect a sporty design with low profile tires on a hybrid. I think you will have a great sales year this year with the new Fusion design. Thanks!

I came in looking for a vehical with a certain price and monthly payment in mind when I spoke with Tim. Tim was able to show me vehicals in my budget that I would get the most bang for my buck. We decided on a Jeep Sahara. We then proceeded to crunch the numbers without that high pressure car salesman persona. Unforntunatly I was unable to get a fair interest rate due to my credit report. The best part of my experience was that Tim was able to make me feel good by explaining other options, that its not the end of the road. Our salesman was Noel Drach and he was pleasant to work with and he was down to earth with us. I like salespeople that talk honestly and respectfully. He didn't pressure us and gave us a fair deal that we were satisfied with. Everyone wants to feel like they got a good car for their hard earned money.Before looking at this dealership we almost bought somewhere else. In the end I did not like how I felt I wasn't getting the best deal at the other dealership so I decided to drive to Montrose Ford. They were open to giving us a deal with some wiggle room which is what nailed the sale for us. The car we bought at Montrose Ford was clean in and out when we picked it up and they followed up on my questions. Finalizing the sale was friendly and organized.I have purchased about 10 new cars in my lifetime and Noel Drach was my favorite salesperson. The car buying experience was definitely to brag about and I got a good investment. This was my first used car purchase ever and I was a little hesitant to buy used. Noel gave us the confidence by showing us the data on the car to make us feel confident in buying it. Thank you.

I have been debating about getting a new car and stopped in to look at a new Ford Fiesta. From the outside the dealership looks a little dated, but this isn't an architecture review. Right when I walk in I am greeted by Jeremy Gray. I had a great experience at Montrose because I never once felt pressured. He asked me what I was looking for in a car and we ended up looking at a Focus instead. I needed something bigger and with a little more power. I never felt like I was being sold something. Or listening to a sales pitch. It was like I was talking with a friend. We just talked about the cars and what would be the best fit for me. I didn't end up getting a car that day but when I am ready to buy I will certainly be heading back to talk with him. For once...I didn't feel pressured or like I was being sold something.

I went to Montrose Ford to browse their selection of 2013 Ford Escapes. I was approached by a salesman named Chris George. I told Chris what I was interested in, and he showed me a large selection of Escapes to choose from. We went on a test drive, and I was totally impressed !!! Chris was very knowledgeable about the car and explained everything, which made my decision so much easier . So therefore I purchased one and I absolutely LOVE IT !!! Thanks Montrose Ford. Bought a new car from them. Had a pleasent buying process over all. Went back to look a used car for my self and I was treated like crap. They offered below what Blue book rated my car. The price of the car was at least $2500 over what it was worth. Would not budge on price. Car was no where as clean as the price suggested. Other dealers had the same car much cheaper. I have lost all repect for this dealer. STAY AWAY.

I went to this store to browse their selection of the Focus. I must admit I don't know much about cars and wasn't too sure about what kinds of things of I should be asking about. I was approached by one of their managers, Dave Hoosier (not sure about the spelling). He was VERY knowledgeable and made the process much easier on me. I was impressed by his professionalism and how he seemed to be genuinely interested in helping me out. As for the store itself, there was a professional atmosphere and seemed to be ran very well. I can honestly say this process was surprisingly easier and less stressful than I expected. I will be recommending this store and Dave for friends and will consider both in my own future car shopping.

I was very impressed with the service I received not only from salesman Bob Titus, but from the Business Finance Manager Keith Laramore. Bob searched for a specific car for me that wasn't in the inventory, but was able to steer me in a different direction, one with which I am grateful. There was "0" pressure tactics that occurred. His professionalism is fantastic and I look forward to purchasing from him in the future. Keith was insistent on me purchasing an extended warranty, although I was at the upper limits of my available money. My 84 year old mother and 85 year old Father wanted a new car/lt truck. They were looking for a vehicle that would be easy to get in and easy to get out. The Ford Escape was perfect for them as was the Salesman Ed Fender. I tagged along to make sure they were happy with the vehicle before they wrote the check. Ed was very patient and kind and respectful with my parents as was Keith in Finance and Charlie in after market products. Having elderly parents one often worries about them being taken advantage. Everyone working at the dealership when we arrived were friendly, courteous and caring. Asking to bring coffee, showing us were the restrooms were and guiding us to comfortable seating areas. Ed was so gracious answering questions and showing my parents how all the new electronics worked and how to 'talk' to the car. A far far cry from when the only color available was black and AM/FM radio and A/C were the big choices as well as power locks and windows! Thank you Montrose Ford! Many more years of success to you and your wonderful employees!

He made the idea of buying my first car not so scary. I just told him I was all about the bottom dollar upfront. I had to call the dealership numerous time about a SUV I bought 6 months ago.the car has been to the dealership twice since I bought it . I finally talked to Chris Mills the GM who basically said that he didn't believe that I called numerous times.I spent over 20k on this vehicle I explained to him that the SUV was still having issues he said why don't you bring it in and we will see if we can help you out. I had already had a quote from a Certified Cadillac dealership. When I went I told him I'm sure you don't care Chris said that's not true we will help you out . He had Ricky from service come and talk to me he asked me what was wrong I explained the issues . Ricky said let me look at it and I will call you back he called me several hours later and guess what it was $879 and my quote from the cadallic dealership was $497 that was parts and lobor. Way to take care of me Chris and Ricky sold me a piece of garbage SUV can't pass emissions they lied to my face and I can't afford to fix it. I would hate to see how bad it would have been if Chris Mills didn't care!!!!!!!! Lesson well learned never go to Montrose

I was able to get a good amount for my trade in. We were able to work out very affordable payments. My new truck was glowing clean when I came to pick it up, I am so very happy with it. Last year 2011,I bought a Ford Fusion Hybrid from salesman, Dan Russell. I had done some research on hybrids and test drove practically every hybrid car on the market. I was trading in my Lexus ES. I was thrilled when Mr Russell was able to find my exact specifications on my new car. He was expedient, patient and knowledgable. I felt confident with my purchase. Bought a dealer trade '13 Edge. The salesperson was the most knowledgeable of all the Ford salesman I had dealt with in the process (of at least 4 other dealers). But once the paperwork was complete, customer service and follow-up declined to nearly nothing. That is, until I completed my customer satisfaction survey with Montrose and Ford. Calls were being returned almost immediately after I hit the 'submit' button. But that contact was short-lived. Managers behind the desk were not helpful and almost appeared indignent when I asked for help at a post-sale visit since my salesman was with other customers. They brushed me off onto someone else, as 3 of them stood behind the desk with nothing to do. Still don't have all my issues resolved and will definitely not purchase from them again in the future.

I currently manage the maintenance and service on 14 fleet vehicles (Fords & Chevy) Six months ago I decided to start using Montrose Ford to service all 14 vehicles and what a great choice that was. The service at Montrose is over the top, they are always accommodating my fleet and things are done right the first time. For over two years I used another dealer and all it took was one bad customer service rep and they lost my business. I am a firm believer in building relationships in business. I've dealt with many dealers in the past but Montrose Ford has been over the top with sales and service. I bought an 2011 Escape from Rich Chansky..he was very knowledgable in the new and used Fords. He was also very down to earth and honest.He didn't push me into buying and showed me all of my options i had .I was concerned about the dealer paying off my trade in a reasonable amount of time so I wouldn t have to make another payment. It was paid off in 8 days!!Rich has restored my trust back into a car dealer..I think they are great and would buy again from them.

To be brief, I brought my trade in to be evaluated and nothing more, because I was working with the internet department on purchasing an Explorer. I came in on April 30th, and being in sales before I understand the end of the month phenomenon. I explicitly said that I was not going to buy that night but no matter, I was pressured by not only the salesperson but one of the managers present with the age-old question "What's it going to take to get you in a car tonight?" NOTHING!!!! That took Montrose Ford off my short list, and I will not be returning in the future.

I had a horrible experience with the salesmen of montrose ford. They were rude, condescending, and completely unprofessional. They would make us wait almost 1 hour before speaking with us, and even when I said I was interested in a brand new car, they still would not help. I have never seen such poor customer service in my life, and I know several other people who feel the same. I would never recommend montrose ford for anything. Especially not to work with billy Edwards. The way he speaks to customers should never be allowed! Do not go here!

I took my car in for an oil change. They said they checked my coolant and brakes and both failed their test. They said my coolant was contaminated and the brakes and rotors needed replaced. I took the car in to another Ford dealer for a second opinion. That Ford dealer said both were in great shape and needed no work. I feel completely taken advantage of. I purchased the automobile here and will never trust their service or buy another car from them or any other Montrose Dealer. I walk away from this experience believing they have a culture of deceipt.
