The original car I inquired about, she told me she was unable to sell me because it needed repair and they refused to sell it in its current condition. That is integrity! Gotta say these guys have top of the line vehicles and top of the line service. Went to see an Acadia and left with an Audi A7. Rick and his team went above and beyond to get me approved with a great monthly payment, 100,000 mile warranty + GAP. I wouldn’t ever buy another car elsewhere. The car is as beautiful as it was shown on the website!! It has a few things to be finished up on installing a 3rd row, but the people were very appologetic as to how much longer than expected it was going to be. It was exactly what I have been looking for!! It took me over 2 hours and 15 minutes to get there, but it was more than worth the drive and we may just make that drive when we look for other cars in the future even though it isn't convenient. Thanks to cars.Com for the easy use of the app to find what I wanted!!!

Buyer Beware!! Horrible experience!! Buying from them was the biggest mistake!! My vehicle had issues The same week I bought it, along with more after just a couple months and they did nothing to help. John is a unprofessional owner, and everyone in place for that matter. Mike the salesman seemed genuinely interested in matching me with the right car and went the extra step to make me feel comfortable. I never felt so at ease with car sales people before. Once I found the vehicle I liked, and we agreed on price, they found me a great rate financing as well. . I was very happy with John and Simone.. I purchased a 2015 Ford Edge and have had my car for two weeks. It was missing the navigation SD card. I was ready to buy a new vehicle...I have owned a mini-van for the last 8 years or so. My kids are now grown and wanted an SUV. I went to several dealerships and at one place not one salesperson was to be seen. I left a little discouraged. Finally my hubby said "let's go to Motorcars of Lansing". My son had purchased a vehicle about a year and a half ago. He was very happy with it so I decided to check them out. This was on a Saturday the day after Christmas. I seen several nice SUVs but I had my eye on a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude. I test drove it and by Monday evening during an ice-storm I picked up my new ride! They worked hard to get me into this vehicle.

I was looking for a Porsche Panamera for my wife for Christmas. I went to the Porsche dearer for a red Panamera. They could not locate one and said that there was only 2 red ones coming in the country and they were both spoken fore. I then google the Panamera and the exact car I was looking for was sitting at Motor Cars of Lancing. A quick e mail and Mike Badawi, the general Manager, called me in the morning. He assured me that the car was perfect. After a quick 2 minutes of negotiating a price. We were set. The only problem was I am in Independence, Oregon and the car is in Lansing Michigan. Mike agreed to meet us at the Detroit airport. Sure enough we walked out of baggage claim and this perfect Porsche Panamera rolls up. It took 5 minutes to inspect the car, get the keys and we were off for the adventure home. At the end of the 2,700 miles home, two things came to mind. I was in need of a new car and didn't know where to go, so I asked my dad who is a retired Fisher Body foreman, to help. So first we went to a dealership in Jackson where he knew one of the mechanics. I wanted to get a GMC Yukon Denali and they kept trying to push me into an Impala, which I didn't even like. After doing a price search online I found one that I fell in love with at Motorcars of Lansing. So I called and spoke with a man named Ryan, and he told me to come in and take it for a drive. When I got there that afternoon they were all having a big lunch and invited my father and I to eat with them. It was John (the owner) Simone (his sister) Michael (his brother) Ryan (another family member) and John's wife and beautiful little daughter. Before we even took the Yukon on a drive I felt like we all knew each other for years. It was just an overall great experience and environment there. Long story short I love my new Yukon Denali and anytime I need anything with any vehicle my family owns we go straight to Motorcars of Lansing. Doesn't matter if it's to get a detail, get serviced, or buy a new car. They take great care of us, I still feel like part of the family!!!

I searched for a long time to find the right Jeep Wrangler, I thought this one was close and I figured I'd check it out but it turned out to be at their other dealership. Even though it was close to closing time, Michael had the other dealership bring it to Lansing just for me to look at! He proceeded to show us the vehicle and try to make a deal. He gave us the exact deal we needed after hours of working with us (it's long past closing time by now) and he got past every difficulty we had! Micheal was wonderful and actually put in more effort to help me than any salesperson I have ever worked with! Great job in customer service and flexibility Motorcars of Lansing!

I was promised that this car I drove 2 1/2 hours for would be in excellent shape and ready to go, after making the trip this car was complete junk! Beat up and lots of things didn't work, sales people were shady and not very friendly! Felt deceived and lied to about everything! Save yourself and don't even think about this shady dealership! I would put zero or negative stars if they would let me!

I have recently purchased a car from Motorcars of Lansing, and we had a very positive experience. Thanks to Doug Chandler's helpful, courteous, and honest approach to his customers, the whole process went very smoothly; starting from selecting the car, test-driving it, taking care of few minor issues that the dealership fixed before we finalize the purchase and received the car. The whole process (including the repair and detailed cleaning) took less than 24 hours. I would certainly consider going back to this dealership in the future, and especially to Dough Chandler.

After a brief conversation, she handed me the keys to a beautiful, fully-loaded, black-on-black 2007 Cadillac Escalade as if I already owned it.A few hours later and a lengthy test drive, it was mine! What made this no-pressure experience memorable was that Simone worked with me as if I were the only customer she had. She answered every question, offered information about the SUV and provided me with a CarFax report. Simone later introduced me to the owner of Motorcars of Lansing (and Kalamazoo), John Badawi. Both Simone, John and I seemed to instantly feel as if weve known each other for years. After looking around for a used car I saw the ad for Motorcars in the Wheeler Dealer and checked them out online. After reading the review a I decided to give them a try. Needless to say I was not disappointed. Simone worked with me to get me in a car with payments that I could afford. My family was looking for a specific vehicle and Motorcars searched for weeks to find exactly what we wanted. We appreciated the patience and time spent by Simone and John to make sure we drove away in our perfect vehicle. Motorcars took care of all the minor and major repairs making sure we were in a safe and reliable vehicle. Working with Simone to finance and transfer plates was super easy and stress free. I have taken my other vehicle into Motorcars to be serviced by Tony and I have been equally impressed with the work and repairs completed on my vehicle. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and with Motorcars. I am excited they are expanding and beginning construction on a new facility in Lansing. After many pleasant dealings with other dealers, MOTRCARS had some big shoes to fill. Without a doubt , they did just that. I dealt with Micheal Badawi from day one and thoroughly enjoyed working with him on my trade , buying the car they had offered for sale and the financing . He was always very punctual in getting back with me rather it was after hours or weekends. The car I bought from them was exactly as described with no games or false advertising . I have bought many cars and I can usually sense if there is dishonesty. Definitely not the case with Micheal or Motorcars. Micheal worked strides to meet my request for shipping the car and was 100% satisfied with the enclosed shipping co. he uses. I felt they were fair with my trade and with the car I purchased from them. I would definitely recommend both Micheal and Motorcars for your purchase of any fine automobiles. I plan on using them in the future if I am still able to afford my toys. Thanks again !!

Purchased an Audi, drove home and immediately had engine problems. I thought that it would be okay after I spoke with the owner. He offer to replace the engine for just the labor cost. $1100. Replaced it with another bad engine, now I can't get a hold of anyone. I got ripped bad!!!! don't go there. you'll be sorry.

Was dealing with a dealership out of Fowlerville, who would not negotiate a single dollar on price. Found the same year car here at MotorCars of Lansing, with only a few thousand more miles on it, for the same asking price, negotiated with Mardee over the phone within 5 minutes of talking to her, within 3 hours of speaking with her I was at the dealership with check in hand to check out the vehicle. With minor scratches/dents, as any normal car will have, I was very happy with every step of the car buying process that had been such a complete headache with Fowlerville Ford. I do have an issue with the remote start on the key fob, I can't seem to get it to work, but I have not contacted Mardee about it yet as I just bought the car yesterday and am still loving everything about it! I'm sure if I take it into Lansing she would be able to set it straight. Family run business, that cares about their customers.

He isn't you're average used car salesman, when stonewalled by his boss on price he offered to split the difference and pay it himself! I am unable to delete my previous negative review but I must admit I posted it prematurely. I did have a negative experience with my salesman and was frustrated with some issues I ran in to with my car. But I kind've jumped the gun and gave up too soon. I ended up reaching out to the owner of the dealership, John. I shared my experience with him and he was more than helpful at finding a resolution for me. He was unaware of the issues I had with my vehicle but it could've happened with any car from any dealership. After talking with John on the phone for over an hour and even gettin invited to meet with him in his office, I left feeling like a valued client. The car had already been sold months prior and John had no obligation to help me because he did fulfill all of his obligations to me. But he still worked with me until he could see I was truly satisfied with his suggestion. You're taking a chance when you buy a used vehicle no matter where you go because it's not brand new BUT you can rest assured that the owner of this dealership cares about his customers and if you have ANY issue, just go to the guy in charge. Really is a great guy and wants you to be happy with your car purchase. Thanks for all your help John.

I drove 80 Miles to Lansing to buy a white Dodge Charger they advertised on Cars.com, when I get there I immediately noticed trim missing around the exhaust. Then plastic rivets missing, the shroud is just hanging, white over spray, inside the rear wheel well, the back bumper is loose when you grab it. They claimed in the ad this vehicle has a clean carfax, but it's definataly been in an accident. There is a body shop there onsite where it appears they tried to fix it. I guess that's why there's no pics of the rear end. They just seem like a shady mom and pop dealership. I would steer clear, and go to a real dealership.

A while back I was looking for a Mercury Mountaineer, that a decent plain 2004 one posted on the website, so I drove there to check it out, well I get there and I could not test drive the vehicle for some reason the one day, there was obvious things about the truck wrong, and the mileage came back from Carfax wrong! Then I called on the truck, they told me to come check it out, get there again (60 miles) and its been sold, waste of my time, and for months kept calling me asking if I had found anything,which I actually did,,A newer 2007 Mountaineer Premier with same amount of mileage but has everything for close to what they were asking for that peice of junk. And now I look on here and they have a 2005 Colorado Z71, seems like a good buy until you look thru the foggy pics and it says in big letters on the window sticker 2007,,when you get there, trust me, it wont be the same truck you thought it was. They overpriced and shady!

This is something that i should have done a long time ago, as well as taken to court because I do have everything in writing by Jon. Jon comes off as a really great guy that will do anything to help you and tell and write any thing down on paper. I purchased an Avalanche off of him and had a bad shake no key fob and missing some plastic pieces o the inside. I would not have bought the vehicle from him because of it but he put down in writing that what ever the problem was in the front end he would fix, he would get a new key fob replace the missing plastic and have it cleaned. He did take the truck back 3 different times on the last time he said he was done with this truck and tossed the keys to me and said that he had done more then enough. Really nothing I could do at that point got in the truck and went home and then noticed what I thought was tree sap on the windshield. It was actually over spray from the body shop at his place that also cost me another 300 to a detail shop take of. Bottom line do not trust this dealership. All he sells is a bunch of lies. I have read a lot of other complaints very similar to mine, I just wish I would have read them before I went to his dealership

John and Keith helped out very much in finding me a vehicle that was dependable and affordable on my budget. I have been very satisfied with the service I have received at Motorcars. They have been very polite and helpful with any questions I have. I was pleased with the great selection of vehicles on their lot, they have a large selection from Cadillac to Mercedes and Range Rovers. I have almost paid my vehicle off with them and am getting ready to look into getting another vehicle from Motorcars of Lansing.

We went to Motor cars of Lansing to look for a van. Upon arriving we asked to see a Kia van that they had. We took it for a test drive but could not take it far due to it being out of gas. When we returned to the dealship we told Michael that we would like to come drive it again tomorrow when it has some gas in it so we could take itr on the highway and drive it a little more. Michael told us the best thing to do is fill out credit apps on myself and my husband,leave a deposit on the van and he would have many payment plans for us to choose from when we called him tomorrow between 11 and 12. We wrote them a check for 200.00 dollars after asking if the money was refundable if we changed our mind about the van or the deal fell through. He told us we would just get our check back if it did not work out. Myself and my husband both called him the next day and was told he was not in the office and that he would return our calls when he came in. My husband called 2 or 3 hours later and was told Michael was gone for the day. My husband called the following day and was told there was nothing they could do for us. Never gave us any options. My husband told him that was fine we would just come tonight to pick up our check. Michael said ok. Upon arriving at the dealership we were told that they deposited our check and we had to wait 7 to 10 days for our money back. We told them that we were not waiting that was not what we were told, we were told we could come pick up the check. Michael got angry and began yelling about the check. They were other customers on the lot, they began to walk toward there car and I yelled DONT BUY A CAR FROM HERE, THIS IS CRAP. Then Michael said that just cost us our deposit because you drove our customers away and told us to get the F*** off his lot. The owner John came out and said he had just deposit our check today and that he would get it for us. He went to the bank and it wasnt there, then he changed his story. He said our check was at his house. It took us 3 more time and stopping payment on the check before we finally got our check back. I would not suggest this dealship to my worst enemy. Do not shop here.

After shopping around for a new van I found everything i was looking for online at Motorcars of lansing the price was right and the van was exactly what i was looking for. Because I lived so far away I called and spoke with John to get more information on the vehicle. John was more then willing to answer all my questions and email me additional information plus the carfax. I felt really good about taking around a 4hr drive to lansing and for great reason, the Caravan was exactly as described with some added extras like Stow and go seating that were just a plus for me. Overall this was a great experience the whole staff was wonderful and John made me feel very comfortable. For any other single mothers or anyone else looking for a great vehicle at reasonable prices I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND MOTORCARS, they were GREAT!

I searched around the Lansing area for about 4 monthes for a car before finally settling with Motor cars of Lansing. I was looking for a specific vehicle, a black dodge charger, and all I had found up until that point were too high of prices and/or too high of miles. I talked to John and told him exactly what I was looking for and within a little over a week he had found exactly what I wanted. I was sceptical at first since I had shopped around for so long and had only found rediculously high prices everywhere. Especially for the about of miles that was on the vehicle, but John gave me an amazing deal, that was around $4,000 cheaper than any price I had found throught Michigan!Overall, I had great experience at Motor Cars of Lansing and would recommend their services to anyone. I still take my car there for oil changes and feel like I'm treated like a family member everytime.

Staff was shady and manipulative from the moment we got there. The car looked sharp and appeared to drive decently with few minor issues. We were repeatedly told that there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with the car and John was very adamant about not negotiating the price down whatsoever. We took the car to get inspected and were told that this vehicle was in a severe front end collision!! Furthermore the bumper was severely damaged inside the car and there was no protective mask for any of the wires beneath the car. We were told that this car is extremely unsafe because of the exposed wires and this issue needs to be fixed immediately. After speaking with John, he changed his story a MILLION times about why he did not disclose this information to us. Plus, he increased the price on us with conditions that we buy the vehicle and his 'promise' to fix all the issues. What kind of compromise is this?? Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. These people will screw you over. They will do anything for your money. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Don't waste your money here. Buy somewhere else. You won't regret it.

We have just realized that the transfer of plates were paid for by us but never taken care of. We were told numerous times that the day after getting the vehicle home , all of the damages on the car would be taken care of. We have waited as long ad possible for this to happen along with numerous phone calls its not being handled. I am making one more call tomorrow. If we do not get the car back in legal driving condition there will be a law suit as well! It's unfortunate a 21 year old paying cash for his dream car gets treated like this. BUYER BEWARE. The dealership sells nothing but junky cars. I should have gotten a clue when there were more returning customers in the lobby complaining about the car they purchased from this dealership than new customers. I returned a used 2006 Suzuki Verano because the mechanics found paint chips in the oil. John misled me by failing to tell me that any time you change the oil it costs minimally $60 for this model car and the parts are impossible to find. He looked me directly in the eye and lied to my face. I paid John $300 down on the car and he did't return my money until I told him I filed a complaint with the Secretary of State who investigates dealerships and that I was filing suit for the return of my down payment and court costs. I have filed official complaints with two agencies on-line because Motorscars lied about the rate they alleged I would be financed at and they also lied to the lender about how much I put down. I was also going to file a suit to get my money back but John finally returned it. Don't give them a dime; they are real sweet until you return a car and ask for your money back. Get everything in writing like I did so you have the evidence you need to file complaints. Don't begin signing any loan documentation without first seeing in writing the page that shows your interest rate and how much you put down. I am also contacting the service that works between the dealership and the lender to provide proof of what they said I put down and a copy of the actual check I wrote them. I received a very nasty email from John the owner for writing this complaint. Shame on a dealership attempting to take advantage of a single mother looking to buy a descent car for her son. You be the judge.

I saw a 2006 Pontiac G6 on autotrader.com at this dealership but I lived all the way in Saginaw so me and my Husband drove all the way to Lansing to check it out. We got there at 6:10 pm and they had been closed for 10 min but right away John came out and greated us at our car and asked how he could help we said we drove here to see the G6. I notcied the lot was very well kept and very nice cars were lining the outside of the lot and I felt very comfortable right away because it seemed very professional. We went in the office and even after they were closed all three salesman were still helping out customers that were buying cars that night as well. It was a very clean and comfortable office that was very busy we sat down to talk about the car and he had already put the plate on the car and said heres the keys lets go for a ride. The car was very well taken care of not one thing wrong with it at all and I told my husband I wanted the car! I was very excited now we got back to the lot he showed us his full service auto center that was just as nice and told us that anything we need worked on the car he could do here. I was sold on not just the car but the level of customer service was nothing like I had experienced any where else when buying a car. We went in and it was quick, easy and very painless and within 30 min I was driving my new car! The car was the lowest priced anywhere and the best quality I had found as well. Buyer beware. Get everything they promise to have done before you write the check. Over 20 calls not returned. My only option was to due for what they aggreed to fix on the purchase agreement. Too bad because I really liked dealing with the owner (John) until I tried to get him to deliver on what he promised. Eventually I just ran out of energy - guess he figured I would.

I found everyone to be very helpful and willing to do as much as possible to help get a deal done. John was very accomadating in his willingness to add or remove parts (Sunroof,Wheels,Tires) to get the look you want and offered to sand and paint a scuff that other dealers I had gone to said things like oh it's a used car what do you expect regarding, scuffs and dings, Mondo was willing to come in 2 hours after closing for me to sign paperwork since I had to come after work and had a 1 hour drive, and Janet did everything possible to get me the best rate on financing. All in all they were patient and professional and I will do business with them in the future.

Horrible customer service. They were not only very rude but dishonest, untrustworthy, irresponsible, and disrespectful. I bought a vehicle from them and paid for a warranty. When my car became undriveable only weeks after the purchase I went to a auto repair shop only to find out the warranty was invalid. I got the run-around for weeks just to talk to someone about the issue! Therefore did not have a vehicle to drive for weeks. Finally after hours of my time and much frustration the car was fixed...however I still had to drvie an hour out of my way to pick it up...they did me no favors even though they had made multiple mistakes. I didn't even get my new plate for over a month! I was driving on an expired temporary plate b/c they lied to me multiple times saying they sent it...the postmark doesn't lie. All in all, unfortunately a horrible experience. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone. Not only did they sell a vehicle that was not working properly but they had HORRIBLE customer service. Check out other websites! There are MANY bad reviews.

The sales agreement was signed on February 5 for a 97 VW Jetta, & as a condition for purchase, new front brakes and rotors be installed. Mike noted this on the sales agreement. I did not get a receipt for this. The brakes grind terribly so, I believe that the brakes have not been replaced. <br><br>Since the Jetta would not shift into gear within the first 12 hours of picking the car up, I took the vehicle to a transmission specialist for evaluation. He told me, This transmission has major issues. I tried to bring the car back to John on Saturday, February 19th. I felt it would be best for everyone just to return the car and receive a full refund of my purchase price since the original sales agreement had not been honored. When I arrived John told me, I didnt get a chance to go over the car like I wanted to and offered to make things right. <br><br>John promised to replace the transmission and fix the items on the list below. He would make it right. He was very believable and I wanted to give him the chance to make it right. He agreed to fix the following items & provide receipts for all work completed: <br><br>1. Replace the transmission we would contribute $350 <br>2. Fix the passenger side lock <br>3. Fix the (-) battery cable connection & tighten the (+) terminal <br>4. Fasten down the battery<br>5. Replace the passenger side headlight<br>6. Replace the grill & front VW emblem<br>7. Reattach two brackets under the hood that are just hanging<br><br>John said that he would deliver the car to Grandville on either Tuesday, February 22nd or Friday, February 25th. The car was not delivered on either of those days. When we called to follow up, he said he had trouble getting a transmission. After at least 15 calls, Mike and Monte from Motorcars, finally delivered the car 2 weeks later than promised. When Monte got out of the car, he said the brakes are going to need fixing! Not only did he not know that the car was supposed to have new brakes, he is the one who told me they needed to be fixed. From the list above, here are the results: <br><br>1) Replace the transmission only partially <br> a) The gear shift indicator shows N when the car is in Drive. <br>b) When the car is in park, the release button on the shifter doesnt release unless you wiggle it. The button has to pop out to get the key out. <br>c) Because the linkage to the transmission is adjusted incorrectly, the alarm can be easily set off as a result of the PRNDL assembly being in error. <br>2) I purchased the additional 90day / 3000 miles warranty and have not received a copy of the warranty.<br>3) I have no the receipts for any of the repairs that were to be completed. Without receipts I have no proof that the work has been done.<br>4) Fix the passenger side lock = repaired<br>5) Fix the (-) battery cable connection tighten (+) terminal = repaired<br>6) Fasten down the battery NOT repaired<br>7) Replace the passenger side headlight - NOT repaired <br>8) Replace the grill VERY POORLY glued instead of replaced <br>9) Reattach the two brackets under the hood - NOT repaired and now there is an additional bracket that is just hanging from the transmission area!<br><br>I tried to reach John by phone many times since March 11th, to resolve this matter. He would not return any of my calls nor would he return any calls from the Dispute Resolution Center. This is a free service for Mediation as an option to going to court.<br><br>I have now filed a law suit against Motorcars of Lansing. <br>

Went to look at some of the cars advertised for sale by this dealership. The car that was advertised had a broken windshield (that the advertisement photograph did not show), had to be jumpstarted and it barely moved when it was running. Saw some other cars at this dealership and most of them were in terrible condition.<br><br>The salespeople did not know what they were doing and one of them was rude and reluctant to go out in the cold and show us anything.<br><br>Since I have been looking for a used car I have visited many dealerships around the Lansing area and I found this one to be the worst.
