I went there to purchase a car my son had found at cars.com. It was better than the pictures and at the stated price. We had traveled 200 miles and were treated like local people, very fair, friendly and honest to work with. I am recommending this place to people here in the Effingham area.

I just bought a car from this dealership. Had my heart set on a SUV. I knew this was going to be tuff in my budget. After searching many dealers, I was recommended to Mr. C's Auto Mart. I found the SUV I wanted and Chuck was so helpful that I was able to drive away in my new SUV. He honestly said it drives as nice as it looks and he was absolutely right. I would highly recommend Mr. C's Auto Mart to everyone. Chuck and Bob are awesome. Thanks for making my dream come true.

I was searching from lot to lot trying to locate a car. I ran across this lot that had excellent looking cars and all cars had Carfax sheets in them. Although it was after hours a gentleman politely assisted me by answering questions. I had the pleasure of working with Bob and Chuck. Although I had less than excellent credit they worked very hard to find the best financing for me. I am extremely happy with my purchase and will visit them again. This was the best experience I've ever had purchasing a car. Thanks Rhonda

I just received the gift of a new used car from my grandmother along with my aunt and uncle. It's a beautiful 2009 Hyundai Sonata and it is no fib when they say it runs and drives as nice as it looks! The service was excellent and friend, my family has also bought many reliable and beautiful cars from Mr.C's throughout the years;I'm very thankful to finally have a beautiful and reliable car that I love!

After a long search, I found the 2014 SUV that I had been looking for, with exactly everything that I wanted in the SUV. I had a great experience with this small dealership, and Bob (super professional and honest) didn't have me purchase unneeded "extras", and answered all my questions, and SUV was a very fair price. I had driven a long distance to see this vehicle and I'm SO GLAD I did. After I purchased this immaculate SUV, I had to drive back the next day to pick it up, and they had it in their garage, with my new registration card already tucked in the glove box, new plates in place, and they shined up my SUV and wheels even more. (which they didn't have to do).

After a long search I found the SUV that I have been looking for. It was everything I had hoped. I had a good experience with the dealership. I had driven a long distance to see this vehicle so I wanted to be sure it was the right one for me, Chuck was very honest in telling me all about the SUV, even about a little scratch on the fender. Bob was very helpful and courteous. (P.S. I like the model cars on your desk, ....but maybe they could be aligned a little different? Ha Ha.)

I had a good experience working with Mr.C's to purchase a used vehicle. He is a no pressure, honest dealer who obviously has many repeat customers due to the positive buying experience. I have bought many cars in the past and this was definitely the fastest process I have been through anywhere.

We recently purchased an Infiniti QX56 and couldn't be happier with the vehicle and the dealership. Chuck was very quick to return calls and answer and questions that we had. We drove 4 hours to get this vehicle and it was exactly as he had described over the phone. The vehicle was fairly priced as well. I would highly recommend this dealer. We received everything just as promised.

I have been looking for the right suv for a month. I called about a QX4 that was online from Mr.C's, this appeared to be the one! I was told by the salesman that his wife was driving it and it would not be available for 3 weeks. My question is why advertise it until it is available. I was very interested in the vehicle. It raises questions about the dealership!

I recently purchased my first used car from this dealership and it is beautiful - practically new. Shortly after buying the car, there was a minor issue but to my surprise they were nice enough to take care of the repairs as well as pay for them, even though I bought the car as is! The salesmen are very honest and sincere, and this is the absolute best service I could have asked for in a dealership. I highly recommend going to Mr. C's.

This was the first time dealing with Chuck (the owner) and it was a very pleasant experience. He is very honest and forthright. He really wants the best for his costumers. Obviously, he is trying to make a living but not by pricing his cars so over the top ..the prices are fair. His follow up was good and the overall the experience was great. I will go back to Mr. C's even if it is just to say hi.

Anyone who has any dealings with the owner Mr C ( Chuck) knows he is one of the best car guys in the business. This dealership has been in the same location and owned by the same family for over 25 years! That's something all in itself. I have purchased personally over 15 cars over the years from him and he always discloses where the cars come from and what if anything they need. Most of his cars are ONE OWNER vehicles that were traded in at high end dealers ( Lexus, Mercedes ) ect . He always offers a car fax to see the history of what your buying also. It may not be the prettiest dealership on the block but who cares I want the best price not an espresso while I look around. The negative reviews on here are a joke. You want to be schmoozed go to a big box car dealer and get put away with a $2-4000 add on to what they got on the trade in your looking at. You want an honest man to do business with ( Mr C the owner himself) stop by and see him personally !

First of I would like to say I had previously visited Mr.C's lot my times in the past years I was lured by the impressive selection of classy vehicles everytime I showed up and say "JUST LOOKING" I was always treated with the utmost respect never leaving with the feeling he was just another guy looking but not buying so when it came time to buy these guy's were the first thing to come mind ,When I came to the lot I was surprised to find out Chuck actually remembered me the sales experience was very pleasant the guys were great we came to a very fair price so far I'm very pleased with my dealing here I would recommend this business to my friends.

I had wonderful experiences at this dealership. I am a repeat customer and have purchased 5 vehicles here. I am surprised to see the negative feedback, though I guess that's what most people post and don't take the time write positive comments. I also read the responses to the comments and that sounds more like the people there. One of the cars I purchased had an issue shortly after I bought it. I knew I bought it as is but thought it couldn't hurt to let the guy know. To my surprise, he paid for the repair and apologized for any inconvenience. Thereafter and the rest of the cars have been very good to my family. They were all very clean and well maintained. These guys don't buy junk. I have found them to be honest and helpful and quite frankly, they always have the best prices. It's not a big, fancy dealership but who needs that? I don't need to pay their big electricity bills for huge showrooms. I would definitely recommend Mr. C's if you are looking for a good deal and clean car!

I would do my homework before buying a car from this dealership. I found a nice vehicle on their website that I wanted to buy right away but the price on the internet was not the price they told me in person. As soon as I told them what vehicle I wanted to buy they immediately said it's $1000 more. I had the printed webpage in my hand but they still didn't want to honor the internet price. Their explaination was that they didn't know what they actually had and that they already spent $300 on detailing it and that there may be some mechanical issues. They were not able to supply me with a list of the mechanical issues at the time. HHHMMMM!!!! Gets you thinking, huh? A week later I go back to see if they want to deal with me and honor the internet price from before. Nope! Well by this time they said that they had to replace the compressor because it was making a little noise. Which is all the mechanical issues they fixed. By my calculations that's a $700 repair. Wow! I guess that's where the $1000 bump came from. These guys can see the future!! Or at least see a fool coming from a mile away. So, like I said I'd be careful buying a vehicle from this dealership. If you know what your looking for and you really want it then go for it. But as the old addage goes, "Buyer beware".

After finding a particular car online.... I sent an email. It took more than 4 hours to reply. I was out of town and my only form of communication was email. Obviously they didn't understand this. He replied that he wanted to work out a deal and I responded right away. Took over 8hrs to reply and said he needed to see my trade. (Which I understood but was out of town) I gave him all the particulars of my vehicle and no response. I sent another email telling them I wanted to leave a deposit and to work out a deal but if they don't want to work with me, I'll look elsewhere. They sent an email back that said thanks. I now no why small car lots like this don't make it. They have a very small inventory so I'm sure he wasn't busy. We are well advanced in the technology era to work deals via the Internet. Guess this whole in the wall lot still has dial up. Go elsewhere please. Don't give them your time. Thanks the dealership that did sell me an FJ. Via the INTERNET!

I had an excellent experience buying a car at Mr. C's Automart. This was my first experience buying a used car and I had to purchase a car due to the breakdown of the one I had. I wasn't planning to buy a car and it had me pretty anxious. Tye did a great job answering all my questions and was fantastic about working with me. Ii was able to purchase a used car with low mileage at a fantastic price. He followed through on all his promises and my own mechanic confirmed all the information he had given me about the car. I would recommend stopping by if you're looking for a painless car buying experience.
