Justin did a great job explaining all of the different vehicles that we were interested in. He went over and above all salesmen standards to ensure we were purchasing the vehicle that best fit our needs. He was very knowledgeable and patient. The sales manager and finance manager also did a great job keeping the car deal very smooth and streamlined. We were just beginning to look for a new car so we stopped by Nelson Mazda just to see if the Mazda would be worth considering. By the time we left the dealership we were the proud owners of a new car. We never felt pressured or uncomfortable, our sales representative, Nick Odnoralov, answered all our questions, took us on an excellent test drive and basically let a great car sell itself. Every step of the process from the decision to buy the car to closing the deal was relaxed and pleasant. Everyone we worked with at this dealership seemed to go out of their way to make sure we were happy .

I have never considered buying a Mazda before but decided to stop in and see what vehicle options were available. I was very impressed with the Sales Associate, Justin Galloway, from the moment he introduced himself. I wanted to test drive the 2016 CX-5 Touring and Grand Touring, and Justin knew all of the features that these SUVs had. When it came down to pricing, the Sales Manager Jeff offered me exactly what I wanted for my trade, and the deal was too good to pass up. I went with a different brand, but I will definitely go back when shopping again.

After deciding on a vehicle, my husband and I searched the internet for the best deal on my new Mazda CX-5. We found a great deal on a the year, make and model just a few hours drive away. We worked with Justin Galloway over the phone and email sending pictures and discussing details. He was very honest and upfront about everything! When driving 300 miles for a car sight unseen, his honesty and personality made the process easy and took away any uneasiness of working a deal long distance. Everyone at the dealership we worked with was spectacular and customer friendly! We looked the car over, went for a test drive and handled all our paperwork in about 30 minutes. He even took care of our rental car so we weren't driving 2 cars back! Great experience! We were very pleased with the process!!!

I had the best experience with Nelson Mazda! I came to them two months ago to purchase a car. I told Ty exactly what I wanted and he found a car that met all my requirements! It was super easy and hassle-free. Unfortunately the deal didn't go through because of an issue on the bank's end. Ty and Patrick both worked tirelessly to make sure they found me a deal with a car that didn't compromise anything I wanted. They ended up getting me an incredible deal on a 2016 Mazda 3i Sport and I'm absolutely in love with it! The car fits all of my needs! As impressed as I am with the car, I am way more impressed with Nelson Mazda and their staff! They worked so hard to find me the perfect car and were so great the whole way through! They kept me updated along the process and even allowed me to continue driving the original car I purchased while they worked out another deal for me. They could not have been better! Cody made the financial side of things super quick and easy to understand. As a first time car buyer with horrible experiences at other dealerships, working with a Nelson Mazda was like a walk in the park! The whole team is so great and so transparent! They truly listen and do their best to find you exactly what you need! They are transparent and trustworthy! Being a woman, car buying has always been akin to a root canal, so when I say purchasing a car from Nelson Mazda Cool Springs was delightful you KNOW it was great. I wanted a 2016 Mazda 3 Sedan in that gorgeous Soul Red but with manual transmission. Jana Williams dug right in and found one on the lot. Told me everything about it, explained their transparent pricing and the lifetime Powertrain warranty and was so knowledgeable about the cars and helpful and just friendly. Never felt pressured, always felt I was getting facts not fluff. Everyone we talked to in the buying process was the same: helpful, friendly, fact based. If you need a car, come see these folks. Nelson Mazda offered market competitive rates in TN area. Combined with their "Nelson Mazda' promise (no hidden costs, lifetime power train warranty) I had a positive experience buying from this dealer. After I had selected a car from their inventory, and planned a trip from Memphis to Nashville ( ` 3hours) to buy the car, Ty from Nelson Mazda called to tell me that the car on their lot was a demo car with 1000+ miles. He was late to realize it but I appreciate his honesty in sharing that information ahead of time. A different salesman could easily have let me find that out AFTER I had visited the lot. Instead of doing that or trying to nudge me towards a similarly spec'd car on his lot, he ordered the car in the exact configuration from another dealer and bore the dealer trade cost. My in-store experience was excellent. Ty was prepared with all the paperwork so I was able to take delivery of the car in under 30 minutes. Most importantly, while going through the buying process, Ty was reassuring and helpful, he gave me advice, not always which would financially benefit the dealership but ultimately, was key for me buy the car from Nelson over any local Memphis dealership.

Ty and Matt were wonderful! Ty had a vehicle pulled around and ready for me to test drive when I got there! Test drive was simple and went through many different areas, allowing me really test all aspects of the car! My car buying experience at Nelson Mazda in Cool Springs was the most enjoyable it could have been. I called and explained to them that I only have one day a week with my wife, and we have to crazy toddlers. Justin Galloway got everything set up for us over the phone. we showed up, picked out a vehicle, and I entertained our children (by the way they have a separate playroom for the children equipped with toys and movies!) while my wife signed papers. we were there about 1hr and 45 min. That is what car buying should be like. People wouldn't be so weary about "car dealerships" if they all treated their customers like they do there. We couldn't be happier with our car either. Stopped in Tuesday morning to drop my car off off for a scheduled service; oil change, tire rotation, etc. While waiting for their driver to give me a ride to work, the tech came out and said my car would be finished in 5 minutes! They were done before I even left! I have total confidence in the Cool Springs Mazda dealership and their service! This is my second car from Mazda, and I couldn't be happier with my car or the service I receive!

The Buick Enclave has been my dream car since 2011, when I drove a rental for 3 weeks on a work assignment. It was love at first drive. I recently took a friends car into a dealership for service and saw one on the used lot. Curiousity took over and I inquired. I knew what I could afford and it didn't take long to determine it was not doable. That was OK because there were just some things about it that I wasn't thrilled with. However, I had the fever!! Yesterday I brought my 2016 Mazda3 in for its first (5000 mi) service. While it was just a simple oil change and tire rotation, it was so painless, I hardly felt as if I'd been to a car dealership sales department! I think that's why I had to give them 5 stars. I've never been a fan of buying used vehicles. The negotiating process and the numbers game can be exhausting. I found Nelson Mazda to be very organized, professional, easy to understand, and a no nonsense type of dealership. The sales reps were knowledgeable and helpful. They were patient to explain how the vehicle worked and were up front with everything, nothing to hide. No issues with me taking the vehicle to my personal mechanic. Overall, it was a stress free process, no headaches and a dealership that bases it's reputation on honesty and backing up what they say they are going to do. Very pleased with the vehicle and very pleased with the dealership!

I got the sense that they truly do care about their customers, and want them to find the car that is right for them, even if it ends up not being a mazda. I never once felt pressured or cornered into the typical "car dealer spiel" and I greatly appreciated that as this was my first time buying a new car. When I made the decision to purchase a Mazda6, the process went very smoothly and efficiently. They worked very well with my bank and made the process quick and painless. Colin Walls is the associate I worked with, and he did a wonderful job! He is very knowledgeable about the inventory and was very professional. I bought my brand new Mazda 3 Hatchback in March 2016. I owed a used one serveral years ago but only had it for a year before I was in an accident that totaled it. When I made the decision to purchase a new vehicle, I knew I wanted another Mazda. I was nervous about the whole car buying experience and being pushed into spending additional money that wasn't necessary for warranties I didn't need and fees that weren't legitimate. My experience was the complete opposite at the Cool Springs Mazda dealership. Their staff was so friendly, open and honest. They made sure I was informed about everything I needed to know and answered all of my questions without hesitation. They got me a fair dollar amount on my trade and the financing was a breeze. They offered me an extra warranty that was only going to cost me an extra 40 cents month, so I added it, thinking I would probably never use it or have an issue that was covered. After turning just 3,000 miles, I hit a piece of metal that put a 4 inch long gash in the tread if my tire (didn't know what caused the flat at the time). I called the dealership and took my car in after changing the tire myself (not knowing that warranty I bought covered towing to the nearest dealership for free!). They told me to bring it in. They called after finding the problem and said they could not fix my tire unfortunately, but the good news is that warrant I bought covered the damage. As in, they put a brand new tire on my car, for FREE! Not even a charge for labor, no deductible or anything. I was in shock. It gets better though; the warranty isn't a "get one tire for free and that's all" deal. If this same exact scenario happens again, they replace it again! No one offers warranty service like that. It covers so much more too. I just turned 5,000 miles and got it serviced for the first time. The service was just as awesome. In and out in less than 30 minutes on a Saturday! They even wash your car for free when you get it serviced. I was concerned the cost of service at a dealership would be expensive but it wasn't; the price was very affordable. I continue to be impressed and amazed by this dealership and its staff. I've not had one bad experience and I honesty don't anticipate one. I feel like the entire staff is my family. They remember my name. When I took my car in to get the oil changed, Pete was at the service counter. As soon as he saw me, he said, "well did you hit another piece of meta or something?" and laughed. It had been 2 months since I was there last and remembered me just by seeing my face, not my name or my car. That kind of service makes you feel special. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Alyssa, who took me on the test drive and helped me every step of the way on day 1. She has been so helpful and has become a friend. She gave me her number that first day and said I could call or text her with any questions. Which I do every time I have one. She always helps me, even when she is on vacation! Above and beyond all of my expectations. I'm only 6,000 miles into this journey with my new Mazda, but I have been so impressed I can't see me purchasing anything else from any other dealership in the future. If you have never bought a new car and are hesitant about the process - go see these people at Cool Springs Mazda. I imagine all of their cars are just as awesome as mine; but I highly recommend the Mazda 3 Hatchback GTS. I love mine!!! It's so sporty and yet still fuel efficient. The interior is so nice and the exterior is equally as sharp. It looks like it's moving sitting still. And the car is SO smart. It does so much. My friends who have been in it with me are most amazed by the headlights that move as you round a bend to se into the curve better! Fully loaded and well under $30k. An exceptional value.

I had a week to car shop in the Franklin/Cool Springs area. It was down to a Honda Civic and a Mazda 3, based on my research for a compact car. I walked into Nelson Mazda expecting the typical whole high pressure buy today guilt trip regret mind game play yada yada, but was genuinely surprised by the courteous no pressure environment. Justin greeted my parents and I in the lot. He was friendly, professional, and informative about the Mazda 3. The test drive was comprehensive getting the feel of the car, one of my favorite parts in the car buying experience with Nelson Mazda. Other favorite part was finally getting my new car! Negotiation process and pricing were fair and spot on. It was raining when I went to pick up my car with a wait due to the Saturday busyness. However, it didn't faze me since folks did acknowledge and apologized for the delay, which was totally understandable. Overall, I'm happy with my Mazda 3 and highly recommend this dealership!

When I stepped into Nelson Mazda Cool Springs I had been to several dealers already, including Nelson at Antioch. I was not expecting much out of the visit given my previous experiences, from being constantly hassled by sales representatives to not been taken care at all. I was gladly surprised to discover how different it turned out to be. Alyssa was kind and she promptly let me know of all the options regarding the vehicle I was interested. She and Patrick worked out through several simulations to give me the best leasing option, being honest, upfront and not pushing at all, letting my wife and I to decide. When it finally came the time to make the deal, they were really good at walking us through the process in a timely manner. Matt clearly explained to us all the conditions and clauses when signing off and he made sure we understood the whole thing. Summarizing, I could not be more satisfied with my experience at this dealer, totally recommended!

I can't say enough how amazing our experience with Nelson Mazda, especially Colin Walls, has been. My husband and I were in the market for a new vehicle because a tree fell on and totaled my beloved 2000 Rodeo. Instead of being excited about a new car, I was anxious and a little bit sad. In addition, my husband had extensive shoulder surgery right before our purchase. Colin was super patient, positive and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond in his communication with us (He texted!!) but more importantly, made sure we were purchasing a vehicle that was right for us. When I arrived for my test drive, I was met and worked with Alyssa Bruce a Product Specialist. First, we sat down and discussed what my priorities, must haves, and nice to haves were. We test drove the model, trim level, transmission I wanted and I loved the car. They did not have the color I wanted, so they called around to make sure they could find the color...they found it! The great thing is, there was no pressure, just test drive and information. Once I made the decision that I wanted the car is when they jumped into action to find the exact car I wanted. When me, my wife, and my crazy toddlers first arrived we were approached by Cody Schomber, who at first seemed to be like any other salesmen, "there to help you. sink into debt." Cody gave his spiel on how he's there for us, there for yada yada, of course I wasn't listening cause I've heard it all before. Once the spiel was done, that was it. Cody didn't talk about anything other then, "what's you're preference?" "does this one suit you?" "want to drive the other one to compare?" "can I run some numbers" "I'll run an assortment of numbers just to give options." Cody was the real deal, trying to touch base on every option, seeing as we were a little iffy on how we could purchase our dream SUV with the anchor of a car we owed a bit on. Cody and the finance team ran every number I asked and couldn't be more helpful. There was at no time any pressure whatsoever. I couldn't believe it. Once he printed out numbers he'd hand them to me, tell me to discuss it with my wife, say a funny quip to my kids, and exit. After a few hours of looking, running numbers, we were out and about in our incredible Grand Touring CX9. My wife and I couldn't fathom how easy that went. There was absolutely no haggling since the prices were at KBB's lowest, and THANK GOD we didn't have to deal with normal car dealer extras like, "Paint protecting coat" "interior protectant coat" and "transfer fee" for God knows what. All that was on the sales ticket was, "Car, Tags, License, and Tax." The whole team had such a relaxed vibe, no pressure, just there to make what we needed work, and they did. While in Nashville, or nearby, I won't go anywhere else, Cody and his team that day displayed true customer service. Save yourself the high blood pressure and go to Nelson Mazda, everywhere else seems to be on pins and needles. Nelsons business model has it right.

Just an all-around good experience. Ty Johnson listened carefully to my priorities and never pressured me me to buy a certain vehicle or buy that day. When they didn't have the car on the lot that I was seriously interested in, they had the car available the next morning. This wasn't just for show; he remembered what I said and followed through. Like most people I always dread the car buying process. Read a thousand reviews, compare prices and amenities, in the end you are so confused! I narrowed my search down to two vehicles, the Mazda CX-5 and a Hyundai Tuscon. After driving them both I opted for the Mazda, it had a few less bells and whistles but the way the car handled impressed me and the warranty is hard to beat. The guys at Nelson Mazda in Cool springs were fantastic (shout out to Patrick, Ronald and Matt!) I never felt intimated and they sat with me for over 2 hours going over every feature of the car, maintenance, financing, locating the car in the color and option package I wanted, etc... Absolutely NO hard sell and after I made the decision to purchase they gave me a demo until mine could be brought in. When I picked up my car today they helped me set up everything and had already programmed in my favorite radio stations! Great place to do business.

When I finally narrowed my new car search to either a Mazda or a Toyota, I came to Nelson Mazda to test drive their product. They happened to have a slightly used Toyota Rav4 and, trying to be frugal and please my husband, I bought the car. The next day I returned it and bought a Mazda CX-9. Don't get me wrong, the Rav4 was a great car, just not for me. The CX-9 is AWESOME!! My dream car! And the whole experience with Nelson Mazda was easy and fun. My salesperson was Ty, a super nice guy, very knowledgable and extremely patient. The money guy was Matt and he was fast yet also helpful and nice to deal with. The whole team was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend this dealership highly to anyone!

My husband and I were trying to decide between a Mazda CX-5 and a Toyota RAV4. The RAV4 offered a hybrid that got a little better gas mileage than the Mazda, so we thought that was the way to go. The original sales person we worked with at Beaman Toyota in Nashville, Tennessee was nice, but we had some miscommunication with the manager before the deal was finished. He was rude, and hateful instead of just apologizing about his misunderstanding. We left there and went to Nelson Mazda in Cool Springs/Franklin, Tennessee the very next day. The sales person, Cassie McCabe, was wonderful very helpful and answered every question we had and was very nice to work with. I will never deal with a Beaman Automotive dealership again. We left Nelson Mazda with our beautiful new CX5 just about an hour and a half or so after we first walked into the dealership. It was an excellent experience in every way. They seemed truly thankful for our business. And we were glad we decided to do business with them. I highly recommend both the CX5 and the Nelson Mazda dealership!!!!

Sales person Brandon Westor was very helpful, very patient. I appreciate that the sales people are on salary so they seem to enjoy selling cars. This dealership also took me on a great test drive, Brandon also invited me to drive it further if needed. This is the first dealership I went to in a long time that didn't have the gas tank down to empty! Brandon answered all my questions on the car, it was a used Mazda that just came in so explained the detailing. I had a few concerns and the mechnics checked them and fixed without charging me more. They installed a new clutch in the auto also to ensure safety, I drove it before the new clutch and some lots would have left it. Brandon also gave me technical information about the car which I appreciated. They actually gave me the clutch without cost because I already had decided to purchase the car, then they found it needed a clutch the honored the price they advertised. Down the street at another car lot I was told I could not get a quality auto for under $10k, with lowever miles. . . I did at this dealership.I met several staff members, all were courteous and helpful.

It was long past time for us to get a new car, and Mazda was not something originally on our radar. However, we heard great things about the dealership itself, as well as the people you deal with there, and decided to go out and check it out. We were SO impressed from the moment we walked in. We were not swarmed by commission based people who want nothing more than to get me into a car we can't afford. We were introduced to Cassie McCabe who deserves her own review as she was absolutely amazing! Cassie asked us where we want to fall payment wise, and she went to WORK! Daniel, (Finance) and Patrick (Sales Manager)- also amazing!! Every member of management made their way to us at some point during our visit to introduce themselves and let us know they are there if we have any questions. SUCH a different experience from other lots we had visited. Between the way we were treated, and the overall experience at the dealership, we left there with a 2016 Mazda 3- and we are happy as happy could be with it. LOVE IT! Any dealership that runs on non commissioned sales people, and is closed on Sunday's so that their employees can be with their families has my respect. I would like to give extra commendations to Cassie. Our deal took several hours (not Nelson's fault- ours), and by the time we got out of there, the lot was closed. Cassie had done her job. Car sold- time to go home. But Cassie didn't do that. Instead, she stayed (in the pouring down rain mind you), and got in my car with me and helped me program my phone and Bluetooth, explained all of the little options and features, etc. Cassie did not have to do that. She chose to- and to me, that speaks volumes!! On top of all of that, I have lifetime power train warranty, and 6 years, 120k miles bumper to bumper. When my 12 year old starts driving, I will be able to put her in a car that is still in great condition, and under warranty! What a relief that is!!! Nelson Mazda is now my official dealer of choice, and I would recommend them to anyone, any time.

I searched several months using multiple car finder web sites to find a 2012 Toyota Tundra. My initial contact was Cody and my assumption was he would be one of several folks I would deal with through the buying process. However, he was the only contact - in addition, he was a rock star! My husband and I went in expecting to have to deal with someone who was more concerned with their own pockets than our needs, but at Nelson Mazda of Cool Springs the sales people don't work on commission. I had already researched at home what I wanted and knew that it had one in stock. We were helped by Colin Walls, who was easy to talk to and very reasonable about what I wanted. He made sure that we were able to stay within our monthly price range and have a good financing rate. Over all I was extremely satisfied and I don't feel like I need to second guess my decision. I had been looking for a car for quite a while that would fit my budget, and found a used Nissan Altima at Nelson Mazda. I had first called and was later put in touch with Landis who gave me a great once over of the specs, offered advice for upkeep, and gave me honest answers on the condition of the car (which was great condition by the way). I decided to go in and met both Landis and Ty. Both are great guys, very open, very straight forward with information for new buyers. Ty gave me all the information on the car that I had asked for in order to ensure I was comfortable with what I was seeing regarding the condition of the car. After looking under the hood, walking around the car, we hopped in, got gas, and took it around a track for some fun. Go in the daytime when it's sunny, there's a hill that you'll go down that has an absolutely gorgeous scenery. During the ride Ty and I had a great conversation and some good laughs, and putting the car through its paces I knew I found the car I needed as my next ride.Matt took me through extra options for warranty repair, and although I declined the options, he gave me a thorough review of what was available and was very cool about it.Bottom line: It didn't matter that it was a used car, they treated it like it was new off the shelf, and treated me like I was one of their own. They understand that car buying is very stressful and they'll do everything they can to make it as smooth a process as possible.

I went to Nelson Mazda to purchase my first car, and I would recommend it to anyone else interested in doing the same. After doing some in depth research online, I pretty much knew what type of car I was interested in purchasing before I arrived. Upon my arrival, an employee greeted me before I even entered the building and assisted me immediately with finding the car that I had researched - which made my decision even easier. I test drove a CX-5, fell in love just as I knew I would, but insisted to test drive a car at another dealership just to be certain. Not only did the car at the other dealership fall short, the customer service did as well. So, I went back to Nelson Mazda the same day to strike a deal. Though they did not have the color I wanted on the lot, they stayed with me even after closing to ensure that the car I wanted would be delivered by morning. Not only was my car available the next day, when I showed up to sign the dotted line, Nelson had taken care of the vehicle so that I could drive it home.The CX-5 is an above satisfactory vehicle for my needs, but I had done enough research to know that beforehand. It was my personal experience at Nelson Mazda that blew me away with their attention to detail and customer service. Never did I feel that they were trying to pressure me into purchasing something I didn't need, nor did I feel pressured to rush into the purchase at all. Instead, I was listened to, my opinions were considered, and I was provided with the vehicle that I loved with the features that I wanted. I would absolutely recommend Nelson Mazda to anyone in the market for a vehicle. Their inventory is both quality and quantity, but what sets them apart from other dealerships are their employees. Everyone I encountered was friendly and knowledgeable, and for someone in the market to buy their first car, that is exactly what you want.

It's a beautiful car that drives incredibly smooth and I couldn't be happier with the entire process. We ennjoyed working with Ty, who treated us like friends, and not simply customers. I highly reccommend purchasing a car from this dealership. There was no pressure to put me into something I couldn't afford. I already knew what I wanted from browsing the website, but I'm sure this would be true if I was simply browsing the lot. All add-ins and bells and whistles were clearly lined out for me (Gap coverage, warranty, etc) and there was no pressure to choose them as add-ons. They took special care to make sure that the car was perfectly clean before I drove it off the lot, and they were very helpful showing me all the buttons and things. I even got a full tank of gas out of it!

I had an older car that had 213,000 miles on it and I was needing to get something newer that would last me longer so I went to Nelson and was shown a beautiful Mazda 3 by Ty Johnson. He went ahead and determined my trade and financing before looking at vehicles to ensure we wouldn't waste time on something that I couldn't afford. After approval I took a test drive, which was a great test drive route encompassing stop and go traffic, back roads, and interstate, and decided to complete the deal on the car. After that wonderful experience I received a call from Nelson that the financing was causing an issue with the add on of the extended warranty. Instead of saying I wouldn't be able to get it or I would have to pay more Nelson worked it out so that I received more for my trade in order to take care of financing. When they say they stay true to their word they are not lying. It was a refreshing experience to deal with such an amazing dealership and salesman who went way above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. They have gained a customer for life!

In all of my previous car buying experiences, I don't think I've ever felt that the team was "on my side" or that they really cared WHAT car I was in - only that I spent my money with them. However, the Nelson Mazda Cool Springs Team really flipped those preconceived notions on their heads - from making contact originally and speaking with Lisa, to the shopping process with Cody, and finally closing with Matt in financial - I felt like I was surrounded by people who really wanted to work with me. They didn't pressure me into a package or addition I didn't need or want, and I felt like they cared and had my back. These folks understand quality customer service. They listened to what I said I needed from the start. E-mail's/Texts were timely, polite and informative. They were super busy, but I didn't feel rushed or lost in the shuffle. Service was personalized to my wants and needs. I tend to ask a lot of questions and am cautious on how I approach financing, and they understood where I was coming from and were accommodating. People in general (customers and employees) looked relaxed and happy. Would recommend them to anyone, because based on my experience, I believe they're on top of individualized customer service.I was shopping with a teenager...asked her what she liked about the experience and she said she was thankful for the water and they had great TV shows going.

I was almost to the point I was just going to ride the bus everyday. However, when we met Alyssa and spoke with her about needs and wants. She truly cared about our purchasing decision. She took the time to work with us and really gave us knowledgeable information about the vehicles. She did not start out the first question like how much money do you have. Like all the other dealerships I dealt with did.She is a true expert at her job. She is really good with people. It was between a Mini Cooper and a Mazda 3, and a lot of my decision came down to the dealership experience. Having had a less than satsifactory experience at Mini of Nashville made my experience at Nelson Mazda even more notable! Lots of car dealerships may say they're all about customer service, but I found Nelson Mazda really "walked the talk"! Ty Johnson was my Product Specialist, as I think they call them -- he was low-key, ready to answer any questions (or find out the answer). I had some numbers I needed/wanted to meet, and he and the dealership made it happen. While not without its hiccups (the car/colour I was told I'd have became unavailable), the whole process was the smoothest I've ever experienced. I was amazed at the lack of high-pressure tactics and their willingness to "make it right." I am looking forward to developing a continuing relationship with this dealership. The car (I've had it a day and a half now) is FANTASTIC, and there was even a woman waiting for her car while I was trying to make up my mind, and she gave them a glowing endorsement! I was made to feel welcome from the minute I walked in the door -- a far cry from the Mini of Nashville experience!

The people were friendly and helpful. I did however, have some problems with the interior needing to be cleaned. They cleaned it but the stains came back through in less than a week. We've had it cleaned twice and the stains still exist. Everything mechanical has been great. The outside is very nice. I do think there should have been an offer to purchase seat covers for our car to make the overall appearance match the value of the car, but it was never offered. I would recommend Nelson of Cool Springs but will be telling the story of the stained car seats. I received good customer service (they tried to clean the seats but they were beyond cleaning). Excellent customer service would have been to offer car seat covers to make me a satisfied customer. I would still be bragging on you if you had done that! I feel we paid much too much money for dirty seats.

Yesterday 4/24/16 my husband and I purchased a used vehicle from Nelson. We are returning customers-I'm currently leasing a 2015 Mazda 6 Touring (which is the amazballs). My husband has been driving me BANANAS for the last month, nearly two wanting a truck. "GMC this, Denali that-babe look at this!" We happened to be in Cool Springs getting my rings looked at at Shane Co. We planned to do some shopping at the mall, but we never made it. Nelson had BEAUTIFUL silver Denali on their lot, just sitting there needing a new owner. My husband test drove it, and I'm fairly certain he melted a little into the seat. He fell in love. Patrick, Landis and Chad worked with us, and we said "good-bye to our 2008 Tahoe, and Hello to the Denali." Daniel the finance manager was a trooper through all the paper work and answered all my questions. Everyone there is seriously great. After My leasing experience, I knew that we would do business again with Nelson. We had a wonderful time purchasing our truck and visiting with everyone. I had considered purchasing another make / model but once I saw the quality of vehicles and staff, I was sold! I was interested in the MX-5. When I arrived they had both the manual and automatic transmission vehicles ready to go. The test drive was just informative enough so that it took away from the experience of driving. I don't remember asking a single question that couldn't be readily answered by Cody. I was offered and took a second test drive later in the day to make my final decision. They gave me a very fair value for my Jeep trade-in. Pricing on the new vehicle was straightforward. The orientation before I drove off the lot was thorough and I was encouraged to contact Cody later with any questions. I cannot imagine having a better experience than what I encountered at Nelson Mazda. I plan on keeping this vehicle for the long haul but I will recommend them to everyone I know. I am confident that my experience from this point forward will continue to be pleasant. They are just that good!

I leased the very first car sold by Nelson Mazda in Cool Springs, a red 2014 Mazda 6, and I've been back every year since. Like so many of the review say, these people really treat you like family and genuinely car about you. My wife and I were looking at the Volkwagon Passat and just drove through the lot before our appointment across the road. As we drove through Matt (then a salesman, now finance manager) flagged us down and insisted we come back and drive the (then) new Mazda 6 before committing. After a less than perfect experience at VW, we did indeed come back and are extremely glad we did. I am in the process of upgrading my lease for a third time TODAY - woohoo! Everybody at the dealership, from Chad (the owner) down to the service people are friendly, courteous and helpful. It is certainly true that great leadership permeates an organization. I could go on and on about them, but you get the idea. If you're considering a Mazda, definitely go see them. Even if you're considering other makes and models, you owe it to yourself to experience the difference. They make car buying fun! Thanks guys and gals!

Instead of feeling the high-pressure sales tactic of the typical Dealership... I was put at ease and felt comfortable as soon as Ty started talking. He explained to me how they are not commission driven. This allowed him to take the time with me to help me find the perfect fit . I drove both vehicles and was torn between the two. I chose the Mazda6 and then the next day decided I just had to have the Mazda CX-5 instead. This dealership went out of it's way to make that happen for me. They were able to answer several questions about the used vehicle we were looking at as well as the purchasing process. Communication prior to the visit was also helpful. We don't expect car dealerships to be "gold-plated palaces" but the facilities were very well maintained, clean, relaxing, comfortable and kid-friendly. I came to the dealership just to look, and not happy that I was having to, and it showed. I came in because I was in an accident that totaled my Mazda earlier in the week. So needless to say, it was an emotional rough week. Collin came and greeted me, not sure if he was going to get yelled at lol. Which was pretty accurate. I asked him if Chad was in since I knew him from the Nashville store. I spoke with both of them and Chad was certain he could get me into a brand new Mazda. Showed me how to operate a lot of the computer screen, and has even requested I text him with any questions. I haven't had time for the full delivery of my new car, and today Collin has offered to pick my car up from my work, and put in a full tank of gas and full detail and bring it back by the time I get off work! My daughter had her car sideswiped a couple of weeks ago. Being it was a 13 year old car with over 120, 000 miles on it, I came down from out of state to help her with getting a upgrade. I first talked to Lisa in internet sales and explained our situation and that I was flying down to help her with a purchase and didn't want to spend a lot of time hassling with pushy car salespersons. We set up a time to come in on Saturday 3/5 and we had told Lisa what she was looking for. We were greeted by Patrick, the sales manager who had us work with Jeremy. He had her look at the cars she expressed interest in, and test drove a 2016 CX-5. After a good long test drive which she put it through the paces, she decided that was the car for her. Jeremy got her a great rate on financing, got an extended warranty on it and we were able to drive it back to her home in Franklin by 3:00 that afternoon. Really professional staff who made her 1st car buying experience a good one. She had looked at a car back up here in my home town a while back (just curious more than anything else), and was called by them for about 6 months. I was impressed by everyone and everything at this dealership, and was sure that she would have been treated the same if she had walked in here by herself.

I was not able to buy from Nelson Mazda simply because I'm so picky, but this staff worked to try to get me in the car that was right for me and I am so appreciative. Ty and Patrick were the absolute BEST.I went to test drive a Mazdaspeed 3, and their test drive experience is top notch. They've got a route laid out that gives you the opportunity to experience the car's handling, power, braking...the whole nine. Unfortunately, I realized that the Mazdaspeed 3 wasn't what I wanted, and I respect and appreciate that they didn't try to push any other car that they knew wouldn't be right for me. They tried to help me find the used vehicle I really wanted (a needle-in-a-haystack Subaru), but it just didn't turn up in time before I found a car sitting on a lot in Alabama. I'm sorry I couldn't give Nelson Mazda my business; I certainly would have been happy to reward their friendly, welcoming staff and atmosphere and superb test-driving experience. I will most definitely be recommending Nelson Mazda Cool Springs to anyone I know who's in the market.

Was just out driving around & knew I needed a new replacement car. I wanted a 4WD & never thought they would have one in stock. Not only did they have one at their other dealership, they let me drive another employee's so I could make sure that's what I wanted. The experience was one where I, the customer, was put first from the very start. Jeremy sat me down & asked me a series of questions about what I needed in a vehicle & did his very best to fulfill my needs & wants. What really impressed me was that I was given the opportunity to choose what I wanted & not have things thrust upon me in a 'take it or leave it' type transaction. When I contacted Nelson Mazda in regards to the truck I was very much interested in, there's always that concern that a dealership is full of salesmen that just want vehicles sold for quota. Well, when I called in and spoke to Lisa, she was very understanding of my situation and eager to help me get started on the purchase of the truck. She sent me the necessary information to get going, then Cody Schomber took over from there as my financial aid in the matter. Cody went to bat for me and made the deal of a lifetime on the vehicle I wanted. They were able to knock my current interest rate in half from what it was when I purchased my last vehicle and get my payment less than what I was paying, for the truck that I've wanted for years. Just wanted to say that early February 2016, I received a very nice surprise via UPS Express-a second set of my car keys to my beautiful Lexus Convertible from Farrah Bates. I was so hoping the second set could be found and sure enough the key arrived in its leather case. What a a beautiful surprise from this GREAT dealership. We've normally dreaded dealerships in the past. The constant harassment and unwillingness to negotiate always made the entire car purchasing experience difficult. At Nelson Mazda, we didn't run into any of that. The salesman we had, Cody, was very polite and easy to work with. I've bought many cars during my driving years and as I searched on the internet for the car I was looking for over 6 months there it was a gently used Red Lexus Convertible, IS 250 C in perfect condition and fairly low miles. It was on Nelson's Cool Springs web page and several different car finder sites. Knowing that car salesmen will and do pester people to the point many just walk away after the first trip, I called and spoke to the Inventory Manager I believe his title, Landis was his name. He told me about the car which I already knew and said I want to see the car on Saturday. Can you hold it until I can get there from out of State? Ok, we get there and to our surprise there were no salesmen rushing out in droves to see who could get to us first- no one. We go in and at the door, there was someone to greet us and asked if we had the name of someone or just needed help. We had the name, Landis(first name) as well as his last name . He comes and greets us very nicely and said, "I have the car out front and the white one too, that I told you about on the phone and Jeremy is going to help you with the car." WOW, NO PUSHY salesmen, was I in the land of cars or what? Unbelievable! This was just two days after the phone call, but we touched base again on Saturday morning as we were driving from out of state to see the car, but oh my goodness here is the unbelievable part-the car was not there. How could this be? You have to get that car back. Reply, "I will do my best, but it was taken last night without me knowing it, along with several others to another lot, which is locked and no way to get it out". I was devastated for I knew I had lost my dream car, but he said he would do his best to get the car back. About an hour later, he called-"I have the car".We arrived to a pleasant setting with very nice people and it was on a Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016 - perfect. We just couldn't believe the show room, it was full of people buying cars. The price they tell you IS the price or at least it was on my car. So after seeing the very large showroom full of happy people buying cars WITHOUT being taken into a partitioned areas or a little room(everything is an open floor plan), we went to look at my "new to me car"(Used). We drove the cars, but the Red Lexus won due to lower milage and later model-everything was just perfect, but yet we were waiting for the Hurry up and don't miss out on this car, you really need to buy this car, you look great in the car and it really makes you smile-NONE of that junk-nothing, except let's drive it and away we went. Oh my goodness-what a nice experience-never had that before. So,after driving both cars, I did get, "Well what do you think out of Jeremy". My reply was I need to think and figure this out, so he and my husband both went inside and left me alone looking. I finally decided on the Red which I went to get from the start. I went inside, said it's the Red one, I love it. We were seated. I whipped out my check book, wrote a check, Landis checked with us to see if everything was going well and I was handed the car keys, sent to an office where we were given all the papers to sign. I drove the car home and LOVE IT. I am still wondering how Nelson's can sell so many cars without salesmen running out to fight over who is going to get to help a person. This is how they do it - the salesmen, to the best I know are NOT on Commission and as a person comes in, the greeter or a salesman will send a person to help you with NO pushiness. WE LOVED THIS DEALERSHIP. THANK YOU NELSON's, thank you Jeremy and thank You Landis and the final man with the paperwork(forgot his title) was nice and professional as all the the other people and I love my used Red Lexus Convertible. I am telling everyone I know to come see you for this was one of the most pleasant experiences I do believe I have ever experienced. Thank You once more and I am going to recommend you to people I know.

Patrick Robertson and Cassie McCabe took the pain out of the whole buying process. We went in with lots of questions and wanting to research all of our available options. They were very patient, and eager to answer all our questions. I had done some pretty extensive research of the car we were interested in and we were very pleased with their honesty and sincerity. We had the occasion to re-visit the dealership several days after the purchase to pick up some accessories and that was a very positive experience as well. Went looking for a new M3 with manual transmission. Had a good recent purchase. The Sales Advisor (Ty) had excellent knowledge of the product. The test drive track allowed for adequate time with the car and exposure to different road conditions. Was offered my desired trade-in value and all worked out well. The M3 was actually delivered from another Mazda dealership having the desired options. A few issues existed with the car that required repair, however, customer service knows how to make things right that work out for the best.

As a single woman, I have had my share of bad experiences with car salesmen either they are too pushy or they don't take me seriously. I don't appreciate that and it doesn't earn my business. At Nelson Mazda, I had an excellent car buying experience. They don't have salespeople at Nelson Mazda. They have "product specialists". While Cassie McCabe didn't instantly know the answer to every question I asked, she was more than willing to go find those answers. (As a professional buyer, I ask a LOT of questions before I make a purchase.) I also found her to be very warm and personable. She didn't push me to make a decision. She just asked if I was ready to buy and waited patiently while I weighed the pros and cons before coming to a decision. I would highly recommend Cassie to anyone interested in buying a Mazda in Middle Tennessee.

Of all the car buying experiences I have had over 50 or so years, this was clearly the easiest and most straightforward. Patrick appraised my trade, Elijah helped me find the right car for me, and Kyle took care of the pricing provided by TruCar. Josh was the guy at the end who did the paperwork. Everything was done without a hitch, and everyone took care of their part of the transaction in a very honest and straightforward manner. This was by far the quickest and easiest negotiating experience at a new car dealer for me. I started out by emailing the internet sales manager asking for the best quote on a car I was interested in on the Nelson website. Jonathan responded promptly via email with a great offer on the specific CX-5 I was interested in. The price negotiations were as easy as that. About a week later I came in and met with Elijah and Patrick. They honored Jonathan's great email quote and also managed to throw in a few extra options that I wanted. Colin is awesome! Honestly the crew at Nelson really rallied together to get me in the car I wanted at a good price. I was selling back my 2013 white Mazda Grand Touring CX-5 mainly because at the time that I bought it, (from a different dealership) I was upside down on my trade in and it made my payments high. I loved my car so I downgraded very little to a 2016 Touring and received a much better deal. Colin was great about looking at my situation from different angles and making sure my many questions were answered. We came in to this dealership wanting to test drive a vehicle I found online. We called ahead to confirm it was still there, and when we arrived they had it pulled up front and ready for us. We ended up test driving several more vehicles and we were stuck between two. Ty & Patrick both spent a TON of time with us trying to help us evaluate which was the best fit. We even took an extra day to do some more thinking. When we called Ty to let him know we had made a decision, he was so helpful. After going to 2 other dealerships, my husband & I went to Nelson Mazda in Cool Springs. At the other dealerships, I dreaded getting out of the car because their sales people were waiting to "pounce" on us. We entered the Nelson Mazda dealership & were greeted by Ron Mayfield, who later explained that he is a product specialist (I think that was the term he used), not a commissioned salesman.Ron took us to his desk & sat & talked to us concerning what we were looking for in a new vehicle. Afterwards, he made some suggestions of vehicles we might like to test drive & we did drive several. We decided on the Mazda 3 S Grand Touring hatchback, but wanted a different color. They were able to find the color we liked at a different dealership & brought it in. The whole experience was very low key - almost relaxing - no stress at all.While we were there, every employee who passed us, stopped & spoke & they actually looked happy. If we were standing alone, the employees asked if someone was helping us.The customer service was amazing! There was no pressure. This is the way car buying should be. They did a great job! Especially Ron Mayfield!!

Loved that the test drive lets you really feel the car in numerous situations. No three right turns and back. They also showed interest in making sure I got the best car for me and let me test drive other brands on the same route to compare. Also they are market based so didn't have to play games the initial offer is line with the market so haggling was out the window! This is how all car buying should be a dealer who has passion for what they sale and don't play games with pricing or trick you into paying full MRSP.

I was in a wreck earlier this month (Oct 2015) and ended up totaling my car. My insurance company gave me a week to find a replacement car. When looking for new cars, one of my staff members at work actually recommended a Mazda and showed me the 2016 Mazda 6 iTouring. It was love at first site. Originally, we had intended to go to the other Mazda dealership in Antioch but the GPS took us to Cool Springs and I am beyond grateful. We showed up without an appointment while they were extremely busy on a Friday evening at 5pm. Regardless, the staff was beyond understanding and found someone to assist us. Collin was very understanding and supportive from the get go; from understanding the wreck, my new apprehension of taking sharp curves, and how this was truly a life experience for me. During the test drive, Collin was even coaching me through the sharp curves and hills to truly get a feel for the car, and it was 10x better than my Altima. Besides the great customer service that was given to me, the dealership stayed open on Friday night for about an hour after closing to ensure all my questions were answered by Josh. Josh was absolutely fantastic to work with and I appreciated how he got to know me as person and vice versa. If you get the chance to work with him, take it, because he's going to make sure you get a fair deal. In addition, he was great to talk to in regards financing (GAP, warranty, etc.). I have done this twice now, once at 21 and now at 24. What I experienced here was beyond fantastic and beyond better than what I experienced my first time around. I am so thankful for their help, specifically Collin and Josh, and their ability to take a really unfortunate situation and turn it into a major blessing.

Never during the buying process did I feel like there was any sort of pressure tactic. The salesman really wasn't a salesman as much as a product specialist. He helped us find a vehicle that fit our needs. When they didn't have a color combination in stock that suited us he found one for us. Then we were able to get it for a really good price and even though we didn't intend to do a trade-in, the price they offered us for our old car made it worth it. Oh yes, and their product is top-notch. We love our Mazda3.

I was in a wreck roughly a month ago and my rental expired this morning of 10/23. My wife and I need two cars so I literally had one day to make a purchase. Deciding I wanted to test drive the CX-5, RAV4 and CR-V, I went to Mazda first and drove the firsts vehicle I saw which was a used model. I had a great experience with TY, he was helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the product offering. I spent copious time researching all three vehicles and actually knew more about the CR-V and the RAV4 than the salespeople there, kind of annoying. After going to Toyota and Honda I weighed the options with my wife and we felt that the Mazda provided the best value, best drive and the lifetime warranty on the power train was definitely important as well. Being a motivated buyer generally makes the sharks come out at dealers but Ty understood my position and worked with me. I felt the pricing was fair, the APR quoted was exceptional and the paperwork process took under 90 minutes, which is quick compared to past experiences. I had a Mazda from Nelson in the past, bought a Toyota and am now back with Mazda, would definitely recommend stopping by to at least take a drive.

I did most of the pre-work myself. I wanted a specific car, with a specific year/mileage and searched the internet in a 500 mile radius to find the FJ Cruiser I wanted. Car guru's listed a "Good Deal" in Franklin Tennessee, and I loved the photos. So I spoke with them for a few days, making sure they would work with my bank as I had financing lined up, and they'd take that payment without issues (other dealers won't, and throw a fit if you don't use their financing options). They assured me they could. I worked out everything from the bank side, and waited for the weekend, praying they didn't sell it. When Saturday morning arrived, the car was still there, so they held it for me while I drove in (arriving 3 hours later). They worked with me on my trade in, despite knowing I probably wasn't going to say no driving in from so far out. Josh introduced me to Cassie, we drove the car around, she was awesome. Engaging and informative. Helpful with everything. I loved the car, and took it home 2.5 hours later. Chris took me through finance and gave me some free national tire service since I wasn't close enough to take advantage of the "routine maintenance on the house" package they give the locals!It just felt nice, nobody pressured me, but at the same time they were accommodating and helpful. They are even mailing me my garage door opener that I left in my old car! (oops!)One note, says that I considered a Mazda, I didn't. There isn't an option to say I was buying a pre-owned Toyota FJ Cruiser. I was, I love it. Drove it back, it was the smoothest ride I've ever been in. Truly a great vehicle that was taken care of! They get 5 stars because I cannot give them 6!

This is my first Mazda purchase and it was honestly a pleasure (who can say that about car buying, right?). After visiting Mazda, Honda, and Nissan, the Mazda difference was extremely evident. The staff at Mazda are quite knowledgeable about their vehicles and in my experience, were quick to find answers to questions they didn't know. They allowed me to test drive the CX-5 twice with each test drive lasting 20 minutes through surface roads, winding country roads, and the main highway. Other than in the finance room, which was a little overwhelming, I didn't feel like anyone was trying to hustle for my business. I left and came back a few times and they allowed me to leave without making me feel like I was losing "the best deal ever" and welcomed me back each time with recognition of who I was and what I had been looking at. Chad and Cody were the salespeople we worked with and they were wonderful with the whole process, including the negotiations. Thank you very much for the great experience!

From the moment I stepped on the lot I was greeted by warm, genuine smiles and never once felt bullied or coerced. Everyone was so nice and Elijah was a wonderful "product specialist". He never made me feel pressured to even buy a car (though buy it I did and I love it!) After I purchased the car, they were more finicky than I was about the detailing! I have to say, this experience set the bar. I found a car online at Nelson Mazda I really liked, but live over 200 miles from the dealership. I wanted to make sure it would be worth my drive. Cassie emailed me numerous pictures of the car in question and was so friendly. Not ONCE did she put any pressure on me to rush down and buy a car, nor did she make me feel like she was too busy to help. I was some what hesitant to travel such a distance to look at a car, but I should have drove down and started my day here. I had just left another dealership (walked out of a rude/horrible situation) and was in foul mood by the time we got to Neslon's location. They still had the Kizashi I had saw online, but it hadn't technically made it to the lot yet, as it had only arrived 4 days earlier. My husband and I browsed the lot, undisturbed for a while. WHICH WAS GREAT! I was not swarmed the minute we drove up. A young man asked if we needed help, and went back to his work once we told me we were looking. It was great to be able to walk about freely without the normal "leeches" latching on. Once I spotted the Kizashi they allowed me to browse, crank it, test it however I wanted even though it hadn't been processed. It was such a relaxed no pressure environment, I was comfortable asking questions and shopping around. Long story short- I loved the car (at first sight) and decided to buy. Here's where it goes from great experience to - omg is this really happening, I love these guys!.... So, we go inside and I'm ready for the pressure and blah blah sale pitches. I told them the payment amount I could work with, knowing full well that would be below the price I figured they wanted for the car... and you know what they said? .... "Ok, let me work this out". ....BAM. No arguing, no fussing, no paper pushing, let me talk to my boss, etc. They made it work for me. Got my payment exactly how I needed it. So, technically the car wasn't ready to be purchased, they need to realign the window, which I knew was no big deal. No problem, we will be traveling back through in a few days and we can pick it up. Well, on the pick up date, the car still wasn't ready. (I know - you think hah! here's the punchline right? .... WRONG! Once again Nelson Mazda went above my expectations. I was trying to figure out a day to go pickup my new toy, when Cassie emails me. THEY BROUGHT THE CAR TO ME! Yes. read that line again. True story. They delivered it to me when it wasn't ready at the appointed time. HOW CAN IT GET ANY BETTER???? I got the car I wanted, the price I wanted, AND exceptional service. Isn't that the way it should be? They have set the bar high, and have high standards for themselves. I am more than happy. (which is a feat in itself really - I'm so picky). I know the next time I am looking for a car, there's no reason to go any further than here.

Nice buying (lease) experience. We were test driving numerous makes and models in search of a small/medium SUV/crossover. We did not get pressured for the sale when we left the dealership to complete our reviews of the other brands we were looking at. In the end the CX-5 was the most value for the money. We came back to the dealership and drove the actual car we were interested in (different color than first test drive), worked with the sales and finance staff on the right pricing.

My recent purchase of a Launch Edition Miata was surprisingly low-key, pleasant and upbeat. When I told the salesman that I did not want any high pressure attempts from the finance department to purchase add-on features, there weren't any. I lived in Trenton, Tn and drove from there to Franklin (at220 miles) to check out a used vehicle that they had for sale. I set an appointment and they were ready for me and had the vehicle I had scheduled to look at ready for me. Jeremy and the sales team made the purchase process fairly seamless. The test drive was specially designed by the dealership so a prospective buyer can experience city, rural, hilly, and highway driving. I found the test drive course very helpful in experiencing the vehicle. Mazda seems to be going through a renaissance right now and really is designing top notch vehicles. After my test drive I was sold and purchased a 2016 CX5. Jeremy set up the navigation, programmed my favorite radio stations, and helped pair my phone to the vehicle. He couldn't have been more helpful. The gentlemen who assisted with the appraisal of my trade in vehicle and with financing the CX5 were equally helpful and very friendly. Overall I had a very good experience at this dealership and purchased a wonderful vehicle.

So, my boyfriend and I decided to drive to Cool Springs and look at the Mazda 6 on Saturday (5/9/15). I just wanted to get some information on leasing. Scott was my salesman, and he was knowledgeable and funny. He laughed at all my jokes and sarcasm. It was great! I felt like I was hanging out with a friend at the car lot. He went over to Patrick and worked some numbers for us to see. All while STILL not pressuring us at all. They totally listened to the fact I wasn't looking to do anything yet. BUT then, Patrick that clever man, gave us a reason to drive away in our new 2015 Mazda 6. He knew the price range I wanted, and no money down (I didn't think they would even get to where I wanted) and he comes out with the perfect price and payment. We had a great time buying this car. Seriously. They were great. Cutting jokes with us and they all just seemed to be genuinely happy to work at Nelson. We even heard stories about Mr. Nelson, and it made me happy to know that this company is like a family, and they extend it on to their customers. I think the best part was, I was indeciseive, and they just rolled with it. Worked with me down to the color. I ultimately didn't get the color I wanted, but I am not at all unhappy about that. I got everything I wanted in the car and some. I can totally link my Pandora to my car y'all! Like WHAT?! It's totally dope! Other than driving it home, today was the first I've driven it since buying it. My boyfriend hogged it all weekend. He totally loves it.

I went into Nelson Mazda 3 months prior to buying my dream car and met my salesperson Aaron. He was amazing and showed me all the great features Mazda had to offer on their extremely well built cars. I decided that night to hold off and wait on the car I wanted to which Aaron was extremely kind about, which is the reason I came back. When I came back 3 months later I met the other salesperson Cassie. Nelson Mazda knows how to pick great employees because she was incredible as well. The car buying experience was great and when I realized my navigation chip was missing they had the card overnighted to the dealership even though I stressed that it was no big deal. After setting up an appointment to take a test drive, I wasn't sure what to expect. Other dealers will typically let you drive a car up the interstate and back, so you're not getting a great idea of how the car actually handles.Nelson Mazda has a predetermined, 15-minute route through a variety of roadways (city, highway, hills, curves), which really gives you a great feel of the vehicle. I even drove two different vehicles and they had no problem with it.There was also no pressure, as I explained I wasn't in the market that day - no cornering me and interrogating me about why they couldn't make a sale that day. Definitely not your average experience.Cassie McCabe was my primary sales contact, who was extremely helpful in the process. From sending quotes to answering e-mails and phones calls, I was able to get the info I needed to finally make a purchase about a month later. They were even able to a dealer trade to get me the exact car/color I wanted.From a simple internet inquiry to final delivery, this was most definitely a great car-buying experience!

My husband and I visited Nelson Mazda after one of our vehicles unexpectedly broke down. We were in dire need of a replacement vehicle and had no clue what to do or where to start. Since we are relatively young, and have very little credit, we thought that would really deter car dealerships from wanting to help us. We were also afraid they would use our young age to take advantage of us. Our visit with Nelson was completely stress free. We walked in thinking we were just going to look at some options, and we walked out as owners of a brand new Mazda 3. The staff at Nelson went above and beyond to make sure we got the best deal, and they gave us every piece of information we could possibly need to buy a car. They are very up-front about everything, so you will not be left wondering what surprises you'll encounter down the road. We would definitely consider visiting Nelson again for any future car needs we may have.

I recently leased a Mazda CX-5, and I am beyond pleased with the car and customer service I received from this dealership. I first spoke with Jonathan over the phone, who was extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions without pressuring me to come to the dealership. A couple of days later, I called back and spoke with Jeremy. He was also very professional and knowledgeable. I mentioned that I wasn't sure what time I could make it to the dealership, because I had to attend a funeral. Jeremy went out of his way to make sure I was okay (regarding the funeral). It was extremely geniune. I was late coming to the dealership, so Jeremy was a bit busy when I did arrive. Aaron began helping me with the process of looking at the CX-5. Again, Aaron was very professional, extremely friendly, and very knowledgeable. Aaron then introduced me to Cassie, and she assisted with the final sell. Cassie took my parents and I on a test drive. She explained the Sky-active technology, the benefits of Mazda, and different features of the vehicle. She was very friendly. I feel like my student loans became an issue when trying to approve the deal, but the staff working on it fought for me to get approved. That meant so much to me. They also looked for many different deals they could give me. They really did have my best interest at heart. I would like to thank Cassie, Jeremy, Aaron, and Sam for making my experience a phenomonal one! Bottom line: It's generally never fun to purchase a vehicle. But the Internet has changed our lives, so take advantage of it. I found Nelson Mazda's website to be up-to-date, which is really helpful. Our purchase process took 3+ weeks with little pressure from the dealership. We had several cars we were benchmarking against the Mazda 3. We actually upgraded our final decision from an I to an S Grand Touring, which may not have happened if we didn't feel like we could come back to the dealership several times to talk about the vehicles AND test drive them. Between my husband and I, we test drove at least 4 vehicles.

I have been car shopping for 12 days by myself because my husband's job is very time consuming and I needed a car fast. I had been through some REALLY bad dealers and car salesmen trying to pressure me into buying fast (even one that had oil in the anti-freeze!). Well, I had almost gave up until Saturday evening, my husband had two hours before closing time at Nelson Mazda and we rushed out there. Josh was at the door, we told him which car we were looking for, and he grabbed the keys to take it for a drive. He was so honest with us and laid back, there was NO pressure at all. The car we went there to look at ended up not being the right fit, and he really did his work with asking what all was important in my vehicle search. He showed us a few more options and then we took a test drive with one that I would have never thought to be on my list! It actually was the best one I had driven all week, GREAT price, and the whole time, Josh never once pressured us into making a decision that evening. He actually ended up telling us to take it home, think about it over the weekend and then just come back Monday morning when we could. Of course my husband couldn't come Monday because of work, and I ended up having our 2 yr old son with us. He made the entire transaction so easy (especially since I had a kid asleep in my lap the whole time!). I had to leave the car for some minor service repairs and Josh arranged for a rental so I could get my little man home. He filled it up with gas for me, since home wasn't close-by, put my son's car seat in the rental, and even emptied out my cup holder of change and hand sanitizer into the rental car just in case I needed it! It's the little things that make me smile, and he sure did do a great job of taking care of us! I will definitely keep Josh's card handy, and would recommend anyone car shopping to just save their time (AND MONEY) and go to Nelson Mazda of Cool Springs! Thanks you guys, really appreciate it!!!

I'll admit two things; I'm a car nut, and I tend to strongly dislike the car buying experience. When my wife and I rolled into Nelson Mazda's Cool Springs location with the intention of replacing our SUV with a smaller vehicle, we were greeted by salesman Aaron Gray. From the instant he approached us I could tell he was not going to be the kind of person that usually makes us so averse to the car buying experience. He was genuine, personable, and knowledgeable without seeming like he was disconnectedly reciting specs from the product manuals. I had many questions and tend to be very spirited when it comes to car conversation, and Aaron was just as enthusiastic in his responses. This was the case all the way through our several trips out to Cool Springs before buying the 2014 Mazda6 GT that we ended up with. It's nice to work with someone who just 'gets it'.When it came to dealing with the sales managers (my least favorite part - no offense to them), I did get a bit of the typical push back (they're in the business of selling cars), but I ultimately felt like we got a fair deal on a 'loaded' car, and it included a lifetime powertrain warranty, which is now a standard item offered by Nelson Mazda. This is our third Mazda in a row, and I couldn't more highly recommend the brand, Nelson Mazda Cool Springs, or working with Aaron Gray.

I own a Mazda Speed 3 which I had hoped to trade in on a new Mazda 6. I had purchased the Speed 3 from Nelson and had kept it in immaculate condition. It had less than 10,000 miles and no issues. That being said, the salesman stated they could not offer me more than a couple of thousand dollars less than Kelly Blue Book Trade In if the car was as good as I represented. If not when they inspected the car, it could be less. Further I was told the Mazda 6 is such a popular car, they would not discount it from the listed price. I tried to research this on the Mazda website but could not get any further information. All I got was a call back from a second Nelson who just reiterated what the first salesman had told me. Needless to say, I am pursuing another make. I have lost interest in trading for another Mazda.

Currently advertising a Black 2012 Toyota Avalon Limited with a whole host of options such as:Heated and cooled seats: Not actually on the car.HID lights: Not actually on the car.Power sunscreen for back window: Not actually on the car.Rain sensors: Not actually on the car.8 way passenger seat: Not actually on the car, and many other things as well. When I test drove the vehicle, I asked the salesman and his manager about the missing features to which they had no explanation. They apologized for misrepresenting the car and yet 4 days later it is still here on the internet doing the same thing, attracting other un-expecting customers into driving 30 or more miles out of their way to see a car that this dealer knowingly is MISREPRESENTING. they should have their dealership license removed. I believe this is completely unethical and underhanded. I am not a lawyer but it is probably even illegal. I would NEVER buy a car from such shady folks. I see they have now added a line at the bottom in fine print to read: *see description above for actual features of this vehicle. The before mentioned features are listed above. SAD, SAD, SAD!

I was looking to buy a new car and have been a long time Toyota Corolla man. I wanted to see what Toyota, Honda, and Mazda had to offer so I went test-driving the Corolla, Civic, and the Mazda 3. I was not happy with the dealerships at Toyota and Honda for pricing and not sure about the new Corolla CVT trans. I test drove the Mazda 3 and liked the performance and handling. I started out on line and found the 2013 Mazda 3 I wanted White I GT with black interior but it was out of state. I was ready to drive 300 miles to go get the car because its what I wanted and the price could not be beat. I went to Nelson Mazda in Cool Springs to look at a car they had on their lot. I was greeted buy Jonathan and right off the bat I knew this was not your normal dealership that is just out to sell a car and make money. We went on the zoom zoom drive that took you on hills, curves and on the highway. This test drive shows you how a car will handle on all road conditions. I like the car but it was not what I wanted. Jonathan evolved his sales manage Kyle and they looked for the exact car I wanted. They not only found the car I wanted they would go get it and match the price on the car out of state. I bought the car from Nelson and at the end they not only sold me a car they developed a relationship. So if you want to buy a new or used car go see Jonathan and Kyle at Cool Springs Mazda.

My husband and I had a great experience with the team at Nelson Mazda in Cool Springs. They were very attentive to our needs and seemed to be more concerned about finding a good fit for us rather than just selling us a car. Jonathan provided great customer service and followed up with us a number of times during our week-long decision making process. They were very patient with us and took us on a number of test drives despite it being cold/dark/late at night. We love our CX-9, really enjoyed the experience (as much as you can possibly enjoy forking over $32k for a car :)) and have no doubt that they will have our business in the future.

We had a good experience here, both Jonathan and Josh are great sales guys, patient with our questions, friendly, and allowed us multiple test drives. Also, they have a really good test drive route, not just around the block and back. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the sort of hard-sell on the extra vehicle coverage and paint treatment during the financial contract discussion. I know that most dealers do this, it is not unique to Nelson, you just have to endure it. But that was a small part of the experience, overall, I thought it was much better than most other dealers I have dealt with.

I went to this dealership to test drive a used vehicle. The salesperson I worked with was Doug Craig. He is an outstanding salesperson! He was very helpful, friendly, approachable, and down-to-earth. His goal, in my opinion was to provide the best vehicle for me be it at Nelson Mazda Cool springs or another dealership. He followed up with a phone call after I left. He also called the next day to see if I had decided which vehicle to purchase. Ultimately, I purchased another vehicle from another dealership and I called him to let him know my choice. I thought I wouldn't hear from him again after that. I was absolutely floored when I received another message from him AFTER purchasing another vehicle! He said he was happy that I found the vehicle for me that fit my needs and if I ever needed anything or needed the vehicle serviced, to call. That is beyond PHENOMENAL customer service!!! Dealership worked with me to get the price of the lease down to a payment that was reasonable and what was given on the phone. I was am still am a little disappointed with the way the car was presented to me as it was covered in glue and had swirl marks all over it. They were very quick to take it back and help remediate some of those issues, but overall the car could have looked much better even after the second presenting. I did have to get some secondary accessories installed and they were very quick to do so, as well as provide a loaner car so I could get to work when the work was being completed. After the fact however, one of my accessories was installed incorrectly and I am still waiting for that to be fixed. Overall the staff was very helpful and very friendly. I am constantly in contact with Jonathan as things come up or to simply see how things are working.

We decided to try Nelson Mazda for honesty and reliability. That wasn't the case for us...sales associate assured us that if we purchase this car it had been completely checked out, serviced and in great condition as well as telling us the car was under the Nelson Mazda 3day return/7 day exchange policy. We bought the car and the salesman gave me $20 cash and apologized for leaving the car on empty. I went to get gas and was driving home only to find that the gas gauge was faulty and was reading empty after just putting $30 in 10 min earlier. I called the dealer immediately and told him the issue with the car and that we wanted to return the vehicle since we were under the 3 day return policy. To our shocking surprise the manager tells us the car in fact isn't covered! so to make a long story short the dealer did service the gas issue, but now we have a car that keeps losing coolant and Im afraid we may have a major issue on our hands. Im pretty sure now that the car hadn't been through service at all.

I had gone to several dealerships including, toyota, honda, subaru and was offered serveral options but none as good as Mazda. This made what could have been a stressful experience, and enjoyable one. Craig made me feel at ease and was willing to answer any questions I had. I am enjoying my new car, so Thank you Mazda of Cool Springs...and it has the best gas milage without being a hybrid.. so no loss of power 155hp with 40mpg!! great car love it. The car I wanted to test drive was blocked in by several other cars. They went to a lot of trouble to move all the other cars so I could drive the one I was interested in. I did not feel like I was getting a sales pitch at anytime during my visit. I don't have much patience for waiting. When I made the decision to purchase the car, I expressed to Craig that I was in a hurry. He and the staff at the dealership worked very hard to get me out in the shortest time possible. I recently decided to purchase a secondary vehicle from Nelson Mazda and saw on their website that they had a 2000 4Runner Limited for sale. The car looked very sharp in the pictures and when I showed up the car looked fantastic. It was well taken care of and cleaned up very well. I looked at the car and waited about 5 minutes before anyone came to help. They brought the car up, I looked at it and then drove it around for about 10 minutes. I came back and noticed the antenna was making a horrible noise and they said that they would fix it before I bought it. We agreed to a price and I said I would be on my way the next day to pick up the car at 6PM and they said the antenna would be fixed by then. Up until now, I was ok with how I was being treated. As I am about 10 minutes away from the dealer, the salesman calls me and tells me the antenna isnt fixed since they ordered the wrong part. I told him I was on my way and they could fix it tomorrow. He offered to pick the car up from my work, fix it and then bring it back to be. Sounded great! So I picked up the car with the antenna still broken and headed on my merry way home. The next day they came and picked up the car and returned it within 4 hours of taking it. I got back in an noticed the antenna worked great but the clock was not working anymore. I called the sales man who sold me the car and he said he was busy but would check with the tech and get back to me. I didnt hear from him for 2.5 hours so I called him at 6PM and he said the tech had gone home but he would call first thing in the morning. Morning came around and went. I called the salesman around 10:30AM and he didnt answer. At this point, I am pretty peeved that after they got their money, they are not being as customer friendly as they once seemed. I decided to call the manager and asked him if this was acceptable. He said it was an accident and I should drive down so that they can take care of it. Mind you, each time I drive there is about 60 miles round trip for me. Not easy on gas, not easy on time. I told him that going back and forth every time was a hassle for me and he needed to help me out since this was their fault. I asked that he compensate me with gas and/or a meal somewhere and the manager blatantly hesitated claiming that it was an accident and that they will only fix what they broke for free. All the rest was up to me. I asked him to call me back in 2 hours and he said that his technician might not be in by then. Mind you, it is about 11 at this point. I pointed out to the manager that if he has no tech in the building at 1PM then he has another problem with his business.Alas, the problem was finally resolved close to a month after I bought the car. This is the worst car buying experience I have ever had and will never return to this place.Bottom line, these people are great up until they get the money from you. At that point, they are done with the sale, have a horrible customer service department and on top of that a rude manager who basically hung up on me. While I should have gotten the name of this manager, I know that I will never again come near this dealership to buy a car.

My wife and I were in the market for a Mid Size SUV and ultimately chose the CX-9 due to reviews by Edmunds and it's performance compared to the Pilot, Highlander, and Pathfinder. I used the Internet to search for the Mazda line of cars, specifically looking for a 2012. I had a quick response from JJ Parsons who continued to answer any questions I had quickly.I went to the dealership and he was responsive to what I wanted to have. The Mazda 3 i Grand Touring Hatchback met all my requirements. He located the color I wanted (about 600 miles away) and arranged to have it brought to Cool Springs. I wanted aftermarket wheels and I was able to have them shipped to Cool Springs where the service department will change them out. Everything was very smooth throughout our dealings. Should have the car with new wheels two days after we closed the deal. I was introduced to all the service personal and the facilities by JJ Parsons, a no-nonsense sales person that responded quickly to what was needed. A painless experience!

I bought a new Mazda 3 hatchback at Cool Springs from Craig F. on 9/22/12 and it was a fun and pleasant experience. The last time I bought a new car was 1994 and I'd been looking off and on for a new car for 8yrs or so. No, I'm NOT an impulse buyer! There was no pressure from Craig and he likes to laugh and so do I. He encouraged me to drive a couple cars with different options and allowed my brother and I to go out alone. There is nothing worse than having a salesman in the backseat telling you this and that when all you want to do is experience the feel of the car to see if you like it. Thanks for that Craig! Most new dealerships don't like to dicker anymore, I guess they took a lesson from Saturn and Car Max, but Craig was able to work with me to get the price where it needed to be to make me happy.

BUYER BEWARE - About a year ago, I received a letter in the mail from an address in Florida that had a Mazda logo on the envelope. I opened the envelope and inside was a letter from Mazda of Cool Springs offering me $3,500 over Black Book pricing if I would trade in my car. I am a current Mazda owner, so I assume that is how they got my address. The letter said they had a strong demand for used Mazda's and that's why they sent me the offer. I went to Mazda of Cool Springs and showed them the letter when I arrived. The salesman said OK, and we then proceeded to drive a few cars. I picked out a new Mazda3 that I liked and then the sales manager drove my Mazda3 trade-in. At the time, I had researched the value of my trade-in online, and I had a pretty good idea what it was worth (about $8,000). So, with the with the extra $3,500 added in, the offer for my trade-in should be in the $11,500 range. The salesman came back with the initial numbers, and the offer on my trade-in was $5,000. I asked where was the $3,500 I was supposed to be receiving due to the letter I received. The salesman said it was "in the deal". I asked, "where is the $3,500 - in the deal, since I don't see it". I also asked if the $3,500 was included in the $5,000 trade-in offer since that would mean they were only offering me $1,500 for my trade-in that had a KBB.com trade-in value of at least $8,000 at that time. The salesman said "no, we are not offering you $1,500 for my trade" and he walked off. The salesman brought the sales manager over to speak to me. The sales manager told me their offer of $5,000 for my trade was the best they could do. I again asked about the extra $3,500, he said there was a "problem" with the letters that went out. He did not elaborate. I asked why I wasn't told of the "problem" when I arrived, since I told the salesman that I was there in reference to the letter when I arrived. He did not answer me and walked off. I left Mazda of Cool Springs (for the last time...) and e-mailed the General Manager of the dealership when I got home. I explained everything that happened at Mazda of Cool Springs that day, but I never received a reply.In my opinion, the letter was a ploy to drag people into Mazda of Cool Springs to see if they are stupid enough to buy a car from them. I have bought a lot of cars in my lifetime, but I have never been treated this way before. The letter was nothing but a lie and everyone that I talked to at Mazda of Cool Springs knew it. In doing some research into Mazda of Cool Springs, I found out they are owned by a company in Florida (remember where the letter was sent from???) called the Tennessee Automotive Group. In the Nashville area, a bunch of former Alexander owned dealerships were purchased by this company.Based on the fact the letter I received was from the main office of the Tennessee Automotive Group, I highly recommend using caution with ANY of the dealerships in the Nashville area that have a yellow swoop near the name of the dealership. BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE AT MAZDA OF COOL SPRINGS, I PERSONALLY WILL NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS AT ALL WITH ANY OF THE TENNESSEE AUTOMOTIVE GROUP DEALERS IN THE NASHVILLE AREA.I appreciate you reading through my description of my VERY negative experience at Mazda of Cool Springs. Mazdas are great cars, so if you are interested in buying one, and you live in the Nashville area, I would HIGHLY suggest that you find another Mazda dealer that does not use the sales tactics that Mazda of Cool Springs uses. You and your hard-earned money deserve better than doing business with Mazda of Cool Springs.

I had never considered a Mazda before, but I went to this dealership because my son recommended them. Although I was not looking to actually buy, the Sales team was friendly, knowledgeable and let me take my time really looking and test driving vehicles. The pricing was very straight-forward, with no pressure and no 'let me talk to my manager' dickering. I am definitely not an impulsive buyer, but they offered me a great deal on a Mazda 5 and we drove it home the same day.
