My 2008 CRV was serviced at Page Honda Bloomfield yesterday for an oil change, and back today unexpectedly for a problem with acceleration from a stop or nearly stopped situation. Melanie Kochanski, Service Advisor, handled my situation both days. She was professional, knowledgable, pleasant, and prompt in keeping me informed of progress today for the unexpected visit. She and her people accurately diagnosed today's problem, and fixed it without me having an appointment. My husband and I value trustworthiness and product knowledge highly. We keeping driving from Sterling Heights to Bloomfield Hills, even though other Honda dealerships are closer, because Page Honda employees have proven to be trustworthy and professional in all our dealings with them.

I took my car in because the low tire pressure light appeared on the dash. Although I did not have an appointment, they quickly looked at my car. They determined there was a nail in the tire and due to the positioning of the nail in the tire, they could not guarantee that a patch would fix it. I decided to get a new tire, which they quickly replaced.

Our new HR-V purchased at Page last June is a GREAT vehicle and my wife is the primary driver and loves it. A couple days ago when the weather was rather warm, she turned on the air conditioner but it did not blow cold air. I drove it over to Page Honda late Friday, near closing time and spoke to Jason, the service manager, who always takes great care of us (I drive a Honda CR-V). He recommended leaving the HR-V overnight so it could be serviced on Saturday. He asked a porter to drive me home. Turns out, it needed additional refrigerant because it was not charged up enough from the factory. They pressure checked for leaks and now everything is fine and "cool" again. Thanks to everyone at Page Honda!

I took my 2015 Honda Civic in for it's first oil change & tire rotation. As usual, every employeeI came in contact with was cordial, efficient & pleasant. I brought a few things to read while Iwaited; but to my surprise, my vehicle was done in 20 minutes! I was only charged for the tirerotation; while I got a free car wash & candy bar from the cashier. What a great experience!

I drove 3 hours one way for a 2012 Pilot ex-l. It was the best deal after comparing 3 others and the only one that was certified. Bob took the stress out of making a big purchase, he was laid back and friendly. My car was clean and waiting with a full tank. She explained what was necessary and followed through. She kept me informed. Displayed a very dirty filter. Explained the purpose for it. She did not engage in a hard sell. On behalf of my wife and myself.I am reviewing our car buying experience and follow up for a premium wheel upgrade six months later First, we purchased our new 2016 HR-V from Page Honda of Bloomfield and Mike was my salesman. He provided us with a competitive price, plus we found him to be professional, friendly, courteous and patient. Mike provided us the opportunity to test drive a HR-V enough times so my wife and I could be certain it would be right for us. As a result, we purchased our new car from this dealership. Fast forward six months later and we are loving this vehicle so much that we decided to upgrade the stock wheels to the sharper, premium wheels to make our HR-V look even more special than it already did. I contacted the service manager Jason in the service department and he did an outstanding job to make this happen. Then, when it was going to take longer than expected when the day arrived to install the new wheels, he provided a free loaner car right away and call me when ready. When I arrived, the car looked wonderful with the new wheels and was also washed and clean inside/out. It felt as if I was taking new car delivery all over again! Thanks!

Poor service. Don't ever take your car here after it is out of warranty. I had a passenger side front wheel bearing going at 80k miles on my 2010 Accord. Went in to see if it would be covered by warranty. Ended up with a $1200 quote. They said both front bearings we in fact shot. They also said I had to replace the hubs and not the just bearings. So I went to the Local Muffler Man in Lake Orion. I purchased a Timken Bearing on Amazon direct from the company for $70. Muffler Man charged me a few hundred to install. He also had a stethoscope and analyzed the other four bearings on the wheels and told me they were fine.After a few months of owning the car it began burning just under a quart of oil per 1000 miles. Obviously this really concerned me since I just purchased this car. Every time I took it in they told me STRAIGHT FACED that it was completely normal for the Accord to burn 1 quart for 1k miles. What the heck?? They told me I should be popping my hood every time I stop for gasoline to check oil. What the heck??? Is this the 1950's?? I have never owned a car that burned any oil. So anyways, I suffered through this for about a year or more till I started having plug fowling issues. Finally, they agreed to put in a new engine - which subsequently has never quite run right. It surges when cold. Etc. The dealer says they will spray the intake with some cleaner... It took about a week and half for the engine to be installed. When I went to pick up my car they were hesitant to pay for the rental I had to use during this time... The first week of owning the car, one of the AC lines burst. They took another line off a car in the back lot. My cooling has never been the same. Took it in that summer and they said it is within spec. So I purchased some thermometers at AutoZone and took another new Accord for a test ride and monitored temperature from the AC outlet. It was considerably cooler than my Accord. Again, service said my car was within specification. So should I not expect my 9 month old car to have the same cooling as another new car on the lot? Ow well beware. Next Honda, if I ever consider again, will be from a different dealer.

I brought my Accord in for its regular maintenance service, and also for the airbag recall service. Melanie was great and gave me a extra 10 percent discount for my service even though i didn't bring the coupon. The service was performed quickly and my car was washed and I got a candy bar for a treat to take home! There was also free coffee and cookies available while waiting. there is also free WiFi and a few TV's to help pass the time! I have owned 3 Honda's over 25 years time. My current Accord is 10 yrs old and runs and looks like New!

Melanie greeted me immediately to see why I was in. I had received a coupon for the oil change and decided to do a tire rotation to with winter not so far off. My experiences are always positive. The write up associates are personable and thankfully the techs. work quickly. She came to the waiting room when it was done, (45 min.) and I was on my way. Roz was working the checkout and she's very pleasant and does her work efficiently and timely too.

Booked my 30k service appointment online, which was simple and extremely convenient.I showed up five minutes early and was quickly greeted and informed how long the service time would be, approx 1.5 hours.I decided to wait in the lobby which is spacious and includes WIFI.My appt only took an hour fifteen minutes and after paying I was quickly on my way.

My car died and had to be towed to Page Bloomfield honda. It was late in the evening and I did not have a ride home. I was literally stranded. I came across a man who was still there at the dealership. I told him of my predicament and he graciously offered to drop me back home. When he dropped me home, I thanked him and asked who he was and he told me that he owned Page Honda. Little did I know that he was the owner until he told me. What struck me most was that, he is a humble man. This is what I call modesty personified. No wonder he has become a successful businessman. He has all the good qualities of a good human being. He leads from the front and sets a great example for every around him. I will certainly recommend all my friends & family to his dealership. Page Honda takes excellent care of all their customers. I have always had a great experience with both the sales and the service department. They are the best!!

The last 2 or 3 times I have been in for service I have not received a car wash because it is out of service for one reason or an other, but my paperwork reflects that I did which concerns me. If the car wash entry was not correct then how can I know for sure the rest of the services were performed as stated on the service invoice ?

Worst service in town! I purchased a new car from Page Honda in June of 2014, and my experience with their service department has been nothing short of horrendous. Apparently, Page Honda doesn't believe that purchasing a new car is a big investment for most people. Instead, they believe that good customer service is a thing of the past. Here is why: My first experience with their service department was last year when I brought my NEW car in for service because of loud wind noise within the cabin, as well as rattling noise within the glove box. After five months of waiting for Page Honda to receive the replacement parts I needed, and calling them multiple times to check on the status of the parts, because they would never return my calls, I finally told them I will be writing a poor review regarding their service department. Magically, I received a call the very next morning from their service department that my parts were now in! How does such magic happen?!?! FIVE MONTHS of no parts and no follow up, and now the parts are in! They replaced the defective parts on my car, yet there is no improvement to either issue. I still have loud wind noise and my glove box still rattles. My second, and most recent experience at Page Honda was last week. I brought my car in for a scheduled oil change. The service tech offered to also rotate my tires, and I declined this option knowing I can have the tires rotated elsewhere for a better price. The service tech was extremely unprofessional and physically, and audibly, scoffed at me for declining the tire rotation option. I then waited at their dealership for the next THREE HOURS for a simple oil change. No one approached me during this time, and when I approached the service desk multiple times to inquire about when they will have my car finished, they simply told me, "It's being worked on, Miss!" I was the last person sitting in the waiting room that day and when I approached the service desk once again to ask about my car, they didn't even know which car was mine or how long I had been waiting. After telling this woman how long I had been waiting and which car was mine, she apologized and said someone from the dealership will call me and further apologize for the mishap. Of course, no one has called me regarding this issue. Furthermore, the unprofessional service provider who treated me so poorly and compromised my entire afternoon, was nowhere to be seen. Needless to say, I didn't receive an apology from him! Apparently, in a business which is built solely on customer service, being that it is a service department, Page Honda doesn't believe that providing good customer service is the least bit important for people who invest their money in their company. Furthermore, it is glaringly obvious that Page Honda doesn't hold their employees responsible for poor and unprofessional behavior toward good paying customers. There will be no "strike three" opportunity for Page Honda! Two strikes is enough for me! I will surely be taking my money elsewhere and will never do business with Page Honda again. I will also inform and urge my friends, family, and colleagues to avoid doing business with Page Honda. I will be sure to follow through with this promise via Facebook, Twitter, Linked-In, email, and word-of-mouth. The waiting room is clean and comforatable with plenty of seating and even tables if you need to get work done. The attendant met me at my door when I drove into the maintenance area and started the paperwork immediately. The work was completed in an incredibly short period of time even though they checked additional items and recommended minor upgrades or maintenance in the near future. Right from the moment you enter you are immediately greeted with a smiling service assistant. Before I could hardly get out of my vehicle, they already had the OBD tester on my new CRV to make sure everything was the way it was supposed to be. The whole process took about 20 minutes while I had a warm chocolate chip cookie and got caught up on my Fox 2 news in the warm waiting room (it's -7 this morning outside). Anyways, just as I was going to stretch my legs I saw my greeter come into the room and said my car was all set and ready for me to drive away. Have to say, I'm impressed with my new Honda dealership!!

This was probably the most pleasant experience I've had at a Honda service center ever. I've owned at least 6 Honda Accords in my life and I've had my share of visits for service. Melanie made this experience the best. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helped me to choose the work I should have done to keep my 2009, 35,000 mile Accord in good working condition so I wouldn't run the risk of problems down the road. I really appreciated that because I love this car and want to keep it for a long time. When I need service in the future, I will definitely ask specifically for Melanie to work with me.

I had a five year old battery that needed replaced and called the service bay to inquire about a quick replacement. The service representative was clear and helpful regarding when I could come in to the dealer for service. I arrived at the dealership and was quickly greeted by a service specialist. The service was quick, approximately thirty minutes, and I was back on the road. I purchased my vehicle at Honda Bloomfield and it's been my preference to also perform all vehicle maintenance at the dealership. I find the overall experience very good and the pricing to be reasonable. Despite having three Honda dealerships to choose from in the general area, I always choose Honda Bloomfield!

Needed oil change and door lock recall attended to. Was told before dropping car off it would be a 3 hour job. Dropped car off before 9am. Called at 12:15pm. Was told 45 minutes. Showed up to get car at 2pm. It's now 3:30pm and my car is STILL not ready. I am FUMING MAD!!! I will NEVER use this dealership again. Absolutely INCOMPETENT!!! Set up my appointment via online system, which was very easy and at a time convenient with my schedule.I received two reminders via email prior to the appointment.Vehicle drop off: many vehicles in the drop off bay but the maintenance crew managed well and wait time was minimal. Free hot drinks and snacks for those who wish to wait but I had errands to run.I received a call after the primary check was complete and advised some filters also needed changed. This added an additional hour but in three hours overall my vehicle was done.The pick up was quick and easy!Good job team and see you for my next service date.

To get the stated average 25 mpg, I would literally, have to glide well below the posted speed and never stop at a light or stop sign to even come close to the projected 25 mpg! I am lucky if I get btwn. 15 and 18 mpg (city), and 23-25 (highway). Shame on Honda!!!!

The service writers take good care of you, do an excellent job of explaining the mechanical issues in simple terms, and make good suggestions as to what service you need now, and what service is coming up within a few thousand miles-that is much appreciated as someone living within a budget. Came in to renew (pull-ahead) a lease and always Honda treated us very well. Honda absorbed our last few payments and some overage on the miles and made us a very fair deal on a new lease in a CR-V. I always have brought my 2010 Insight here for routine oil changes for the past 4 plus years. The prices are affordable and even cheaper than if I did it muself given what this 0W20 oil costs per quart. The waiting lounge is convient and comfortable and most importantly, the service department does NOT hound me with phony extra work that many other dealers would "discover" while performing their duties. Based on the reliability of this car (no repairs outside of maintenance in 5.5 years and 145,000 miles, I will definately be buying another Insight when it is time. It also helps I am getting an average opf over 43 MPG city driving.

Went in for oil change, but was talked into a tire rotation. What does this choice get me, an 1 1/2 hours later I get a broken bolt and lug nut, which equals loss of my time and add stress. They will fix for free but this adds more loss of time and stress because I have to drop it off and pick it up. Don't get your tires rotated here if you want all the parts on your car to still be there when they finish.

Just purchased a new Civic EX-L and it was the best car buying experience I've ever had over the last 40 years. The dealership went all out to find the exact trim and color we wanted, and ended up having to make a trade with a Chicago area dealer since there were none available in MI. Rather than having it driven here, they arranged to have it trucked in. Awesome! They also beat several other area dealers on the price!!Our salesman, Michael Hymes, was outstanding to work with: friendly, courteous and always available t/o the process. He spent a great deal of time explaining the technology and other things about the car to my wife. We would definitely recommend him and this dealership to others.

The service was good but when I walked in I agreed to pay a certain amount for them to check my engine light. They never said why the light is still on and it would cost me another 100 dollars to find out. I paid them $1100 for a new alternator and my engine light is still on. Also six moths ago they said it would only be $500 for a new alternator this time they charged me over $700. Why is this dealership so expensive

My car has been mysteriously losing copious amounts of oil. There is no oil leaking on my garage floor and no smoke blowing from my tail pipe. I've been stranded twice with zero oil in my car! I have to find out from my neighbors that this is a very serious problem and has potential to be very costly. I think I should have been told all this by the service departmentl.

I needed an emergency repair for my son's '04 Pilot so he could complete his South Carolina to Charlevoix trip with my four grandsons. I called the Page service department and was connected to TJ who recognized my name (we've purchased Honda's from this dealer since they opened) and call up the vehicle's data. Serious repairs were required and they did the work in one day and sent him on to his destination. I am truly grateful for the attention and expertise I received from the Page Honda Service Department.

I appreciate the inspection of my car during my oil change. I was told on inspection I had a bulge in my tire. I was able to replace the tire before other problems occurred. Thank you for being thorough. One suggestion. Most other places rotate tires and check levels of fluids, which is included in the oil change charge. That would be a great service to your customers.

A number of years ago Anderson was purchased by Roger Penske who changed the name to Honda of Bloomfield, and the new owner (Bob Page) has change the name to Page Honda of Bloomfield. REASON for SERVICE: "D" Drive light on and blinking. Told: (2) pressure switches (transmission/diagnostics) and flush of transmission fluid needed. They also diagnosed misfire (5) cylinders, needs spark plugs. They just replaced them 18 months before that, the maintenance program indicates every 100,000 miles. Shouldn't their records show that they had just replaced my spark plugs? "Oh", he said.I approved the repair for the (2) switches and transmission flush. "D" light came back on blinking within 24 hours after leaving the dealership. Back to the service center, "need new transmission". While I don't dispute this may be so, this code indicator (P0740) was on BEFORE they replaced the (2) switches. At the initial diagnostics - and the service manager agreed - they should have advised ALL code warnings, and that they could replace the switches but that may not address this other code which would mean a new transmission. Assuming the problem would be fixed with the first $625, it grew to an additional $3k and the problem still unremedied. Oh, and I was also told the maintenance light comes on every 7500 miles so, "you can come in and give us more money". SERVICE MANAGER was supposed to call me after he discussed all of this internally. That didn't happen. I called him - got a voice mail and still haven't heard back.

Service was excellent, Salah was always helpful either helping us find the right car for us (we were looking for used or new van), taking the time to show us what you have on inventory that would meet our expectations in style, and later when we sit together to choose a van, he was very proffessional, we felt he understood us and look for the best option possible given our expectations on price, lenght and monthly payment we requested. My wife noticed his friendly attitude and service he always had eventhough she had very specific requirements in both price and style. Salah's service attitud and understanding was giving us the last push to buy our Odyssey. The rest of the process was easy and smooth. No problems at all the transaction was very smooth, low pressure. Knowledge of the product was excellent.Only issues may have been the last second extended warranty pitch, I felt like I would like to have thought more about it.

Mike Ulrey was my salesperson and he was informative, personable, and probably patient with my hesitancy in determining the type of vehicle to purchase. This is my third Honda and I'm pleased with sales as well as service. I would recommend this dealership to others.

The team at Bloomfield did a great job. I bought a 2007 Honda Pilot and they fixed the few problems that needed to get fixed. They made easy and enjoyable. The parts department is awesome. Although my repair was far more extensive than I had imagined it might be, the repair staff was compassionate, kind, and professional, dealing well with my fiscal horror. The dealership needed longer than originally expected to complete the repair (8 full days), but supplied me a rental car at no additional cost to me. After the repair, I returned with some questions and was treated professionally, despite the fact that I didn't know how to operate my car correctl, though I'd owned it for 7 years!

I have never been to a dealer with customer service like Honda Bloomfield. TJ Engle is always courteous, accommodating, and willing to do whatever it takes to make things go smoothly. I've been to many dealers in my life, but never experienced this type of service. Normally, I'd go to a quick oil change place in order to save a few bucks, but TJ's crew makes it worth the visit. Richard Kirsch sold me my car, and he went above and beyond to get me the best deal. I CANNOT recommend Honda Bloomfield enough, whether to buy or for service!

Dealership has always been great - just hate breaking the bank at the service counter - sure wish they could provide some benchmark of service costs to I don't walk away feeling like I'd been taken advantage of....i.e. need brakes and rotors, here's what 5 other local shops would have charged and here's what we charged you.Also when I take it in for a big check up if the other things they find would be presented as 1) This is a safety issue - high priority, this is an optional repair but we strongly recommend in the next 6 months you have this worked on.I had a car warrenty purchased the car from that dealership, and it showed on my check in receipt, but the charges weren't checked against that warrenty to see if they were covered until I inquired...I will go back and purchase my next car from them and continue to get the car service there.

I gave the above rating a 5 (great) for my overall experience with them. I'm sure that Diane gets many responses and with overturn of my salesperson I may have been somewhat lost in the shuffle. I appreciate Tammy getting back with me, as I was returning her call letting me know she had taken over my previous sales persons cliental. Overall, I am pleased with this dealership and would recommend them.

When I arrived, I told them what I wanted and they worked very hard me to meet my needs. I was able to get a very good deal on a new car. Everyone there worked well together to make the buying process easy. There was a slight problem with the numbers but it was not intentional and merely the way it was entered in the computer. They immediately corrected it and I was on my way with the deal I wanted. Car was prepped very well and the salesman helped me setup the bluetooth to my phone and was very good at showing me the features of the new car.

Andy Haas and team go beyond expectations to provide great service at a great price. They help me solve big problems and no challenge has been too big. They are fast, thorough and get the done right the first time. They know how to treat a customer right. I never go anywhere else for my Honda service. No reason to when you are already spoiled with the best.

I WENT IN FOR SERVICE AND THEY TOOK MY VEHICLE RIGHT IN WITH OUT AN APPOINTMENT. THEY WASH AND VACCUMMED MY VEHICLE AT NO CHARGE AND I RECEIVED A FREE CANDY BAR. THIS DEALER SETS THE BAR FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

I have been a customer of Bloomfield Honda since I bought my CRV in 2005. Since then, my family has purchased a new 2007 Accord and used cars 2005 Civic and another 2007 Accord. Again, another great service experience at Bloomfield Honda. I visit the Honda service department 2 or 3 times a year due to my high mileage commute. The service personnel were always friendly, calls me by name, always deliver the car when promised, and always makes me feel like an important customer.

My Service Representative, TJ Engle, has gone above and beyond to answer all of my questions and ensure that I have received the best service possible. I came in for a Service on my son's 2006 Accord. Rodney from the service department was outstanding as my salesman Ron Sczumanski who also was outstanding. I always have questions and they answer them with no hesitation.

Tire rotation cost was twice that of the add-on price at shops I've used in the past. I had it done at Honda anyway because I had oil change coupons. I was a little disconcerted when the service individual seemed reluctant to honor my coupons which I had received from the sales manager -- stating they were only to be used for first oil changes, not for subsequent ones. He questioned why there was no note in the computer. I felt that was an internal Honda issue -- just honor the promotion without seeking explanation or justification. I simply stated that I wad unaware of Honda's internal policy for first oil changes and simply wanted to use my coupons. I bought a 2012 CRV. Had trouble with a part on the starter. It was found on the second trip to the service dept. They fixed it and explained it in detail to me. As frustrating as vehicles can be, the service dept makes it less painful to drop off a car for service. Thanks for all you do:)

I've been to your service departmen twice now. Jason was professional, polite and honest. He provided fair advice and never pushed me into service I could have used, but didn't need. Trust is the most important issue when dealing with auto service. Your department has earned mine.

Ive been to many Honda dealerships and Bloomfield Honda is hands down the worst I've been to. They are extremely over priced, and I feel like they rip you off even more if you are a women. I called them before I came to check prices and when I arrived I got an even higher price. I am extremely unpleased and unimpressed by bloomfield Honda, and I will never return there again!!!

The professionals at Honda Bloomfield, led by Service Manager Andy Haas, have made it a no-brainer for all service for my two Hondas. I have a 1999 Odyssey that has 300,000 miles, and a 2002 Civic that has 250,000 miles. Both cars still feel and look new to me. Although I have made the commitment to keeping my Hondas in the best shape possible, I could not have had the results I have with my cars without the professional and extremely friendly help of Honda Bloomfield's service department. Worst dealership experience I have ever had. Bought a certified used Honda and have had nothing but problems and nothing seems to be covered with 5 year 100000 mile warranty. Avoid this dealership. Had a 3 pm appointment, it was 5 before my car was touched. Overall terrible experience.

Top notch dealership with an emphasis on overall quality customer service. Need service? No problem they will shuttle you where you need to go, check to see if the repair is under warranty and properly take care of the problem in a timely manner. And be sure to get a free candy bar on the way out. Need a new or preowned vehicle? Their no pressure sales staff will explore all options with you in order to best suit your budget and needs. Have a specific need/want? Let them know and they will keep a look out for it until they find it(Robert is looking for my next Odyssey right now). As long as Bloomfield Honda is around I will continue to buy Hondas. Can't say good things about them.

I took my car here for service because the dealership I normally go to was super busy. The first time I went, no problems at all. The service was great and completed within a reasonable time. I thought I found a backup dealership. The next time I went in for an oil change, all was great again or so I thought. Two weeks after leaving the dealership, I went on vacation for a week. During that time, my car was parked in my garage. I came back when went driving around town to complete my list of errands. At the end of the day, I noticed an oil streak in my garage. So, I decided to go to my usual dealership to get it checked out. While I'm driving there, my oil light comes on. Now I'm slightly panicked because that never happened before. It turns out that some incompetent service technician did not take the time to screw my oil plug in correctly. Sometime while I was driving around town, it fell out. I was pissed beyond belief and called the service manager. He acted like he did not want to cover the charges because by that time I hadn't been there in three weeks. He did not want to take responsibility, but you bet your sweet little buns that he covered the cost to cleanup the mess and refill the oil. I don't change the oil on my car or anything else. That's what I pay the dealership for. However, I wouldn't pay this dealership one red cent to do anything to car after that fiasco. It's only a car, but it's mine. If you don't give a damn about the work you do, don't do it. And Honda Bloomfield is a Penske dealership, so they have ruined that name for me for good. Good luck to the rest of you out there who want to keep them in business.
