I purchased a 2016 X3 D. Found exactly the car we were looking for. Used the Costco discount plan. Great car and dealer was easy to work with. Adam Locke was great.

My Husband and I have just bought our new 2016 M3 from Peter Pan BMW. This is a car that is very hard to get a hold of. We worked with a sales person Ray Alcini on the entire sale. He was very professional, and very informative about the entire process of ordering the car and gave us regular updates on when the vehicle would arrive. I would encourage anyone to go to Ray! He is a perfect example of what a professional car salesmen should be.

The salesperson and I had agreed to a price on a 7 Series BMW that was approved by his manager. As I was applying for financing, the salesperson calls me back and says another manager rejected the deal and they asked me for another $1100. This is why car dealers get a bad wrap. They do things that make them look dishonest.

I purchased my BMW in San Luis Obispo California. I had driven up to San Francisco and the car broke down. Not only was road side assurance terrible, Peter Pan never seemed to get old on how horrible they could be. (Pun intended) My 2012 528i with only 50,000 miles on it gets towed in for a fuel malfunction. They refuse to look at it or even help. When I explained I live 4 hours away and need to go home tonight they simply just said well you can leave here tomorrow and we can probably look. (I just said j need to be home tonight) Now, I understand they were busy but no loaner car was offered. Even if I had to come back next week to get my car as long as I had a loaner car to drive around in while my cat was being serviced I don't mind but this dealer did of course. So I offered to come back when the dealers about to close and I could try and take a loaner there since hopefully there would be one available. Basically was told there is no way to help me and I need to get my at out of there an go somewhere else. I called AAA to get my car out and it won't go into neutral now. Finally I demanded they help me get it in neutral when they replied "We have to go under the car and would have to charge you for it," to which I had to finally yell and scream and finally they did it. Got my car out and towed all the way home. And basically explained to my dealer here thanks to the experience of Peter Pan BMW I will no longer purchase another BMW. I'm going back to Mercedes purely cause the service was so piss poor. Thanks Peter Pan, I'll enjoy my ultimate driving machine on the back of a tow truck while dealing with you! The Ultimate Screw You Over Dealer.

The worst service from any luxury car dealer I have ever used. I have worked with Porsche BMW in East Bay and Jaguar and have never had a problem with the manager of the dealership honoring the promises to the customers.I made an offer on line with the sales person and scheduled a test Drive to make sure I wanted the car for the next day. The price was agreed upon before I went in to test drive, so all I had to do is drive and pay for the car. When I arrived my sales person told me another couple wanted the car but I had first place because I arrived first for the test drive.I drive the car and returned to purchase it. When I went in to buy the car they had already sold the car to the other couple even though they arrived after me.The manager was terrible, he acted like it was just "too bad" they already started the paperwork for the other couple. My salesperson was very surprised and even brought the other salesperson that agreed I would have first choice to talk to us. He did say he had agreed that the first one in would get first choice but didn't really give a dam, he obviously is just as bad as the manager when it comes to honoring their word to the clients.I would never recommend Peter Pan to anyone interested in a BMW. Go to Waterford BMW in Berkeley or Mt. View BMW.I expected them to be at least honest.

I want to express my complete customer satisfaction with Raj Poorjay in purchasing my new car at Peter Pan BMW. Raj was very courteous, kind, professional and had in-depth knowledge about the car I was purchasing. It was obvious he cared about the product he was selling. He was not pushy and took the time to explain and answer any/all questions my nephew and I had. Ive never had such wonderful experience in buying a new car. Raj, thanks again for the Excellent service! B. Bryant

Here's my story. I took my 2001 325i in to get an oil change and to get my passenger airbag recalled. The service was done quickly and well. My issue isn't whether they can service a BMW, because they can. They service my car quickly, and my car even looked clean afterwards. My issue is more focused on their management and how they handle themselves when things don't go well. To put it simply, while my car was being serviced my radio knob was broken. When i discovered this in the parking lot, I walked back in to talk to my service advisor, John. He brought the car in the back and looked it over. When he returned, he did so with his manager David and an apology. "Sorry, sir. We didn't break your radio." He went on to explain that none of the service technicians touched the radio as the oil change and airbag replacement didn't require it. Manager David didn't even want to get in the car and look at the knob. After going around and around with David for ten minutes, even me going so far as listing the NPR headlines from that morning's commute to prove that the radio was working when i dropped it off, he ended the discussion with the mantra "I'm not going to buy you a radio." My radio was working wonderfully that morning. But, when I picked the car up, it wasn't. They wouldn't accept responsibility and called me a liar. As someone who is new to the Bay Area, and is looking for a place to get my car reliable and responsibly serviced, the search for professionalism continues.Oh, and Peter Pan also pays for their 5 star reviews on Yelp with a travel mug. So, if you feel like taking a walk on the wild side by trusting the word of someone whose opinion can be bought with a travel mug, enjoy the Peter Pan moronathon you may inherit.

I took my car in for service here several times and asked each time if they could fix a recurring issue with the "Powertrain malfunction" that seemed to be happening more and more often. It would put the car in limp mode, then be fine after a restart. Over and over, I take it in, no response and no issues found. Finally the car just dies on the way into turning the lease in, early, to just be rid of it.. They just left the car on the side of the road for 4 days while I thought the car was being fixed. I finally intervened and had the car towed to Fremont who actually did the proper troubleshooting and had the car fixed within a day, so I didn't have to turn the car in early and enjoyed 3 more months of having the car. Peter Pan will do nothing but the most basic troubleshooting. They are the least competent BMW dealership I have ever encountered in my 9 BMWs I have owned across over 10 states. Absolutely terrible. They simply bank on the fact that they are close to all of the customers who don't know better, and take every opportunity to upsell their goods. Whatever you do, don't give them your email address. You will never get off of their mailing list. It's a sad fact that you'll just have to get used to driving to the east bay when you need service to have it done correctly.

What can I possibly say about these xxxxxxxx that isn't already mentioned. I've owned BMWs exclusively for over a decade and I've been to dealerships all over the country. Nowhere will you find such incompetence than here. I brought in my 2012 335i for a maintenance and an infrequent "Powertrain Malfunction". It wasn't a big deal, it just popped up, you'd pull over, stop, restart.... it's going great. This happened once or twice in a few months time. I chalked it up to some recall or electronics or even getting some bad gas. (Though, always premium.)Cut to months later, I can barely drive the car 20 miles without it coming up. And the car goes into limp mode when it happens, so on the freeway, I gotta maneuver out of the way. Bring it in... they all but call me a liar. Finally, after getting video, they offer me $2k off the purchase of a new car. You can get better than that on the website. However, they never failed to try and upsell me when I was in on a service. And, despite their dogged troubleshooting techniques, they never drove the car more than 1-3 miles. Really bang up job guys. To top it all off, I just want rid of this thing so I barely drive it for 9 months just waiting for the lease to expire. I finally get the option to turn it in early, at my own cost, for the problems their warranty should have fixed. But I was just sick of taking off work to go get it and deal with them. On the way to literally drop the car off, it dies completely. I was told by their "General Sales Manager" that there was nothing that would be done. They didn't honor their warranty... oh well. And proceeded to try and sell me another. Unbelievable. The real shame is that it was a wonderful car until this. And I've been a loving owner of so many for so long. Now they just have me looking at other companies. Well, that's enough for me. I needed a hobby. And my new hobby is telling everyone how terrible Peter Pan is. Shouldn't be hard.

They may be good at selling NEW BMW's But used cars ? I would NOT Recommend them to my mother-in-law I went there to buy a used car I saw online. I found a "Pretty Obvious" Mechanical Prob. They said they would look into it and let me know. I had to call them repeatedly to find out what was going on. Then I was arranging to come there the salesman did not call me back and then they sold the car to someone else. I am not convinced even fix the problem I found. I pity the person that actually bought that car.

I had a pretty good overall experience in presales. But after I ordered a 2015 X3 the support dropped considerably. First they delivered the car to me with a dent in the bumper. The dealer offered to fix that one. Then I got the car back and discovered two small pictures in the ceiling. They declined to assist in correcting the issue. The sales manager wouldn't even come out of his office to even speak with me about the issue. You would think they would be a little more courteous given the fact that they had already given me a dented car and then made me drive back and forth to the dealership several times to sort out the issue. I have had to escalate this problem to BMWUSA and even the service reps there are not very accommodating.

It was my first time to visit BMW Peter Pan and I am amazed by the friendliness and accommodation of the staff there. They are very convincing and knowledgeable of what they are selling. I already know what I wanted but their client advisor, Eugene Masalitin, right away went through with the pros and cons of buying or selling a BMW X1, the computations and possible discounts until we came up with the best deal. The follow through with another adviser, Danny Villa, went so smoothly that I ended up bringing home my first BMW sooner than I expected. The BMW X1 has all the features of my dream car. With its ultimate package - panoramic moonroof, keyless entry, power front seats, voice command, BMW online, very reliable navigation system, satelite radio, among others, this car is quite fascinating. I have never been as ecstatic to drive. Danny, thank you so much for your time in explaining the details of all its usages. You have been very nice. I will definitely recommend BMW X1 and Peter Pan to all my friends.

Within most possible short amount of time, we test drive, finish paperwork, and get the exact car we want at a reasonable price. Bob is highly recommended. Thanks!

I take my BMW cars to Peter Pan BMW for service all the time. Over all I have been pretty satisfied with them. The best service adviser is Mr. Kenny Lew. He is very courteous, he patiently listen to you while you describe the problem, he is very polite and very friendly. He does not rush you or give a hand gesture as you should hurry up, I need to get to my next customer, as I have seen this type of behavior from other service adviser ( to be remained anonymous). In general, Kenny really takes care of you and your car. It is good to know him in this establishment.

Even though I purchased both my current BMWs; a 2007 328i Sedan and 2008 535xi Sports Wagon from different dealers pre-owned, with different warranty programs, my service experience with Peter Pan has been excellent. Okay, I once had a complaint that my loaner car was pretty dirty; so I had to clean the windshield on my fully optioned,335i free loaner car all by myself. Perhaps I was being a little "testy" that day, due to events unrelated to my loaner car. After all, the reason for my visit was a free scheduled service that Jordan, at Peter Pan, reminded me to have done. Again, did I mention for free?I bought my first new BMW in 1998 in Las Vegas. But it seems that the BMW experience, for me at least, has been a positive one ever since. Sales people are sales people. However, BMW sales seems a cut above, and care about their product. Service and Parts have always been helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive. I have the N54(the supposedly notoriously unreliable)engine in one of my cars. My doctor, and his wife have the same engine in both of their cars. My dealer fixed mine with very little discussion at the first sign of discontent, and the doctor and his wife have had no problem. If we own BMWs I hope that it is because we appreciate pushing the driving experience to a higher level of enjoyment, engineering innovation, safety, and value. There are a plethora of inexpensive forms of transportation that do not require a lot of cognitive interaction with either people or the machines. Life is choices. I choose the BMW experience. But to address the constant complainers, I have found that conversations with intelligent people generally move forward faster when there is more light and less heat.

One is minor and basically an annoyance but I think it's a telltale sign that the dealer is not very careful. I was searching for 6 speed manual transmission cars and found several listed by Peter Pan. After I looked through them, I found that all of them are actually automatic. I want to believe that this is not an act of fraud but in that case, it just shows their carelessness. If they can't even be careful about something as important as transmission when they list the car in their own ads or listings, how do they conduct business is questionable. In some cases, they may even use pictures unrelated to the actual car which I think is misleading. The other thing really is their arrogance in doing business. I was considering buying a car with European Delivery as a potential option but the salesperson I talked to acted all pompous and disinterested when I mentioned that I may want to delay the delivery in consideration of winter. He also had this "if I don't make a killing on a deal, I don't want to waste my time talking to you" attitude which I found offending.

Based on previous reviews on this and some others web sites I almost decide to go somewhere else to have my 328i's scheduled service done. Since this dealer is very convenient to my home I decided to still go there, besides I checked for th first available appointment in other dealerships and this was the one with less than 48 hours wait. I went there and even after making a mistake on the time of my appintment (I showed up 40 minutes late) I had to wait only a few minutes. Starting with the car in taker, the receptionist and Mr Kenny Low EVERYBODY was extremely friendly, professional and helpful. The car was done in less than 2 hours, they washed it for me, and they did not try to sell me anything or pay to fix anything, all covered by wonderful BMW's service plan. Finally, I read some comments that they woud treat you badly if you ont look like a buyer or extremely wealthy person, well, I went ery erly in the morning, in my sports attire, sweat pants and T-shirt, nothing fancy nor expensive, no jewerly nor any sign of my status, and they still treated me very well, like a appreciatedcustomer, nothing less of what I have been used at BMW. I just moved from Florida while they were nice and good there as well,I definitely don't miss them and I will come back to Peter Pan. Great service and experience

There was a flaw on the door panel of our brand new X3 (bought in Mountain View because the salesperson at Peter Pan only offered a $500 discount from sticker). We did not bring it in until the first service a year later. The flaw had gotten worse and we were told they would not cover it because it was due to the seatbelt hitting it.(?) They refused to acknowledge that this flaw was clearly a manufacturing issue and never replaced the door panel. We were fought on every (only three) attempt to get any defects on the vehicle worked out. I echo the many people that dislike this service department. They never had a BMW for us to drive, I always had to rent from the Enterprise desk in the dealership and PAY for the car they rented to me.I have been treated better at our local Toyota dealer.

Only reason visited Peter Pan is service and location... Send my car in for service ( under warranty) and informed service advisor of the problem, have to pay for part which is not covered, no problem but the issue still exist. Informed service advisor of the issue, was requested to return to the dealership that same day. After checking with service technician, I was informed that it was okay... drove my car about 1000 feet, along El Camino Real (intersection at Hillsdale) the issue still exist. Telephone service advisor, no response, only thing to do is to leave a message. It has since 2 weeks, no return call....problem still exist even though I had to pay. Left another message to service advisor today (4-8-08, 3:15pm) Still awaiting for return call!

They act like they are doing you a huge favor to service your car, instead of treating you like a valued customer. They are arrogant and not at all helpful. I bought my car from them and would rather take it to the gas station on the corner than let them touch it again. I have written to tell them of my experience and give them a chance to make it right; they have never bothered to respond, which is a response in itself.

I use this dealer for scheduled maintenance on my 04 330CiC (and soon my 07 335i when it's due for service).Never a problem to get a scheduled appointment, and it's close to work. The shuttle service is convenient, and for major inspections, an Enterprise rental is arranged. And I don't insist on a new BMW replacement car, as I would only drive it 5 miles roundtrip.

IT was the worst experience I had ever bad. Does not even deserve a star on the rating. I was shopping with my friend for a BMW 3 series. So we went down to dealship. first. we try to ask him to tell us something good about the car, he said, every thing. everything is good. What a answer. very helpless, to me, it seems that guy has not be trainned. so no instruction on the car, before we test drive it, he come straight to the price, he is wonder if he can sell us the car today. HELLO, WE DID NOT EVEN SEE IN INTERIOR OF THE CAR, NOR TEST DRIVE. What is in his mind? just try to force us to get the car? DAh....after test drive, we friend doesn't like it for some reason. You know what he told us.... I should notice you guys are not the people that shop in Macy's and northstrom, you guys just shop in Kmart. you guys should stick with driving JAPANESE CAR? HELLO? what the??? just because i drove a Honda CRV? he said to us. IS THAT THE WAY OF DOING BUSINESS?

I visited the Peter Pan dealership many times to buy a high end 5 series and have also dealt with their service department both in person and on the phone.I found their service to be extremely lame, both in terms of friendliness and quality. I have been left unattended looking at cars many times and had to come back. The main sales person (a guy with a strong Russian accent) was rude and unfriendly asking me on my first visit a 'What do you want?' without any introduction. The second time he said 'What do you want this time?'.I dealt with him again during the sales process when the sales guy I was with asked for the keys of a car to do a test drive. He gave us a grumpy look and said 'You'd better be sure you want to buy the car.' I was wearing a suit and a tie as i was on my way to work but maybe i didn t look like i was meaning business.Their service department was equally bad. I called them to enquire about the details of a service and maintenance contract. They put me on hold twice, dropped my call and eventually... gave me the wrong information. I had to call again to check on an extended service contract associated to my car and this time around they outrightly lied, insisting the car did not have it, that it was pending and was not applicable as i had bought the car per owned (from them!).On the sales side, i dealt with a so so sales guy called Roger who was quite patient but left our conversation a couple of times only to come back ten minutes later. Once I managed to get a test drive he was quite good and friendly.

As many others have noted you can wait for a long time at Peter Pan BMW before someone bothers to come by and provide assistance. I was interested in a 328i Coupe and wanted to test drive one. Hal (the salesperson with the strong eastern European accent) basically told me he wasnt willing to provide me with a test drive unless I was positive that I was going to buy a vehicle that day. At this point, I proceeded to tell him what he can do with his car. (I would understand his reluctance to test drive if the car in question was an M5 or M6 but taking that attitude with garden variety 328i Coupe is ridiculous!) Even by the notorious standards set by most car salesman, these guys (and I include Victor) are so slimy! I cant believe I actually bought a vehicle from Peter Pan several years ago. Obviously they have no interest in repeat sales!

I have visited this dealership to inquire about a car purchase, sale, and service. All times the service was awful. The sales people were offering deals with huge mark ups, offered 10k less for my car than any other BMW dealership in the area. I live close buy and occasionally have to service my car there. The service personnel never follows up, they are rarely friendly and do not seem competent.

I am 51 years old and have never received such substandard service in my life! I took my 540I reluctantly to Peter Pan but it is the closest to my home and a ride home was the problem. I had unpleasant experiences purchasing a car there before, but I had no option at this time because my car needed it's normal sevice and an oil change. I took it in for a normal service and an oil change. I walked out owing them $1000.00 not to mention the $1,000.00 my warranty took care of. They replaced a theremosat that I later on found out had no problems anyway. And they put a big complete nickle size whole in my driver side black door seal on the floor. This seal was basically brand new but they denied they could have done it and said I did it w/ a high healed shoe. I think I would have remembered that one.. I had to pay to replace it. After replacing the perfectly fine thermostat they did not reattach the hose correctly, so half way home my car ran out of coolant completely and was HOT!! They denied any wrong doing there as well. So now I am faced w/ a beautiful car that may have a serious engine problems as I keep having to put in more water and coolant then I should really need to. This outfit is unprofessional and shady and will deny any bad work and take it to their grave. If you like to give away free money this is a good way. Also, I received my newly detailed car back w/ an extra 22 miles on it, which I though was quite a lengthy test drive and it looked like it ahd been 4 wheeling w/ all the dirt on it. This was one of the worst consumer experiences of my life. Run from these people, dont walk!!

I did my initial research and test driving here. Henry was a great salesman. He gave me enough space to explore the car and offered other vehicles for me to check out. I was looking for a 325 Convertible but Henry let me test drive the new 530i and I was hooked. But here's the bad news, I tried to buy the car there and they never followed up on my internet request or phone calls. I was put on hold once and left a message that I was ready to buy. The other sales man never called me back! Plus their pricing is higher than all of the other Bay Area dealers.

My experience with this dealership has been halfway decent.
My family and I have bought TWO cars from this dealership,
at good prices, and with cooperative dealers-
but I am hesitant to continue to get them serviced there in future.

Sales is good. If you wanna get the best, hassle-free buy,
go to Victor Hung. He's the man, seriously.
The other salesman we dealt with turned out OK
but he was trying to sell us on a very crappy lease deal initially,
which irked me a bit. Also, he kept forgetting to give us
our all-weather floormats. Buyers beware!
Make sure to get your mats! :P No really, go get them guys.

Service here on the average is mediocre.
On my brake pad change, the car sat uselessly on the lot for a day
and was only worked on the next day. That is simply unprofessional.
And that was WITH AN APPOINTMENT, mind you.

Last year, when my engine died on me, which is whack,
since it's an automatic, they called it a freak accident.
They dismissed it coz they couldn't duplicate the event.
A few months ago, they said it needed an ignition coil change.
Apparently it took them that long find the prob.

Maybe I'll try getting Service elsewhere. I'm sick of incompetence.
Or you know what? Maybe I'll go trade to a Porsche.
Apparently, they're more reliable than BMWs.
Just see the (ADAC) GERMAN Customer Satisfaction survey.

Survey results:
1. Toyota
2. Subaru
3. Honda
4. Mazda
5. Nissan
6. Mitsubishi
7. Suzuki
8. Porsche <==================
9. Saab
10. Hyundai
11. BMW <==================

Enough said. If you want BMW, and you buy here, look for Victor!
DON'T, I MEAN DON'T, GET IT SERVICED HERE!
I will weep for your BMW if it gets (un-)serviced here!
God awful dealership.

My wife and I are ready to plunk down $50k to buy an X5. We went to Peter Pan San Mateo to shop for a car. We walked in, started looking at the X5 on display, and waited for 20 minutes. During the 20 minutes we waitede, *noone* offered to help us, and everyone, including and receptionist/admin in the back of the show room, tried their hardest to ignore us. While we were waiting, other people showed up to look at cars, and they were immediately shadowed by dealers. Us, nothing.

I went in for warranty service work with a printed out service bulletin detailing the exact problem I had, but was denied because I had an OEM BMW part installed which the SA said was an "aftermarket" part. Despite me telling him it was a part I bought from their parts department and provided the part number, the SA said they could not do anything even though it was clear by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty act the "aftermarket" part was not to blame. The SA even had the balls to tell me that if I came back with the same problem, he'd charge me JUST to look at the problem. I went to another dealership with the bulletin, and the had no problem fixing it under warranty.

I've been to this dealer twice. The first time I dealt with this Asian guy named Victor Lee. My friend wanted to take a look at the then new 740i's. The sales droid was completely unethusiastic. There was hardly any stock. When we finally located a vehicle we wanted to drive, the sales droid replied "if you insist." My buddy and I felt like leaving right there and then, but we figured, what the hell, might as well drive the damm thing since we came this far. The test drive was uneventful but this sales droid was just a stooge - arrogant and of no help. My friend (a doctor) was so turned off by BMW at this point that he went and bought a Mercedes SL500. I did the same thing a few months later.

Second experience with Peter Pan. Salesman's name was Manfred. I was looking for a pre-owned 540 with low miles. Manfred, with his arrogant German accent, kept showing me cars with 80,000+ miles. When I complained, he replied "on a BMW 80k miles is low miles." Sorry dude, go rip someone else off.

I was also present in the showroom listening in on another customer and their salesman. This young couple was looking at a used 3 series. The salesman was basically quoting them an outrageously high price and hard selling them.

I will never purchase so much as a spark plug from this $tealership.

On July 1999 I received a recall notice for my car. The recall Campaign number is 98V-178. I made an appointment at Peter Pan BMW in San Mateo, California to come in on August 13, 1999 at 8:00 am. I dropped my car off at Peter Pan in San Mateo at 8:30 because I was running a little late. I parked my car at first and proceeded inside. At that time a gentleman asked me to pull my car up to the stop sign, so I ran back to my car a pulled up to the stop sign. He asked for my keys and I told him the car auto-locks and starts. Then I said so dont leave the keys in the car or just put the windows down. He said yeah ok. I went inside and talked to Tom Ziegler, a Service Consultant. I informed him that I was coming in to get some recalls done on my car. I gave him the notice and he said there is a brake light switch and another for throttle cable bushings. I said sure those too. Tom asked me when I would like it done I said noontime and he said ok. I went back outside again and told the gentleman who told me to drive up to the stop sign that the car was low so to be careful. He said yeah. I waited for my car to be parked and asked Tom Ziegler what the process was to get another key made. He said go down to San Mateo Lock and get it done there. Then I asked him if I could get a ride down the street to work. He said sure and asked the gentleman who had parked my car (the same one who I gave the keys too) to give me a ride. I arrived at work and about 20 minutes later Tom Ziegler called me back saying that the car will be ready for noontime pickup. I called at 12:30 and talked to Tom Ziegler and asked if the car was ready. He said yes and to come down and pick it up. I waited for 20 minutes because I was waiting for a ride from a co-worker. Then Tom Ziegler called me back and said that there had been a problem and that the car auto-started and ran into a fence. He also said to come down right away. I asked for a ride from the same co-worker and we proceeded to Peter Pan BMW. When I got there Tom was frantic and said that we should look at the car. We went around back to where they wash the cars and the front right fender of the car was crushed inwards, the right turn signal was shattered, and the front bumper cover spoiler was cracked and lifted up slightly. I was extremely depressed. I asked what we do from here and Tom said that I would have to talk to the Vice President but he wouldnt be in until Monday August 16 1999 and he would call me at 9:00 am. I said ok. He assured me that everything would be taken care of. He also asked if I need some transportation, I said yes, and he called for a car. I signed a paper for the car and proceeded out the door. Tom had already gone outside to open the door and get the keys for me. I went over with him again the sequence of things that were going to happen and he assured me that the Vice president would call at 9:00 am on Monday, I said ok.

The end result was that Peter Pan said it wasn't their fault and to come get my car off their lot. Tom Ziegler said "That it what insurancce is for". Very rude... My insurance company picked up the bill but as you can see it wasn't very fun dealing with Peter Pan
I've gone into the parts shop several times to purchase items for self repair--both expensive items and small items. In all cases the personnel in the parts shop are borderline rude. They generall key in the part description, get their number or show you the picture of what you're buying, and run back and get the part. Often the parts guy does this without really talking much or while carrying on another conversation with a dealership employee. I feel like I"m not a cusotmer, just a bother. Last time he snapped at me when I realized I needed another item after he fetched the first ("Coulda told me that before I left"). I'm gonna make an effort to buy my stuff elsewhere from now on.

Two experiences: on the first I brought in my 2001 X5 4.4 for the 15K service, and complained a bit about the rear hatch not always closing properly (and sometimes complaining about coming open while driving). The service went fairly quickly, and they ended up replacing quite a few parts in the rear hatch assembly. It's better now, though they didn't adjust the bushings that hold the door in place (so it was rattling), which I ended up doing myself.

Second, I went there looking for a new 3-series for my wife and received a lot of attention and help from one of the senior salesman...we sat in and talked about several cars on the main lot, then walked across the street to their other lot just to take a look at another car. Overall we spent probably 1.5 hours together, and he wasn't pushy at all. I ended up ordering a new car from him the next day.

Talked to a salesman and told him that I wanted a test drive of 530i5sp and 540i6sp. He told me that I could only test drive one. I said 530i5sp. Sales guy went to get the key, disappeared for 20 minutes, finally came back and I could only test drive an auto, no 5sp. Got in the car, out of parking lot, the sales guy asked me to turn around at the first traffic light and returned to the dealership, saying that's all the time he had for me.

I was looking for a vehicle with my family at Peter Pan BMW but not a single person came up and offered to assist us. A reason for the poor service maybe the fact that it I don't dress up when I go out , but Jeans and a t-shirt are most comfortable to me. Also it might be that we were looking on the lot and not in the showroom. Nevertheless I purchased my 2001 740IL at another dealership who treated me better.

I gave the dealer a 5 on quality and accuracy to give them the benefit of the doubt. I have not used they're service facilities so do not trust that part of the survey.
