Just a few words regarding my overall buying experience at Phillips Chevrolet. I stopped in and began browsing the parking lot when salesman Ferlando Batts came out to greet me. Ferlando was both professional and pleasant. We went for a test drive and then came in to talk business. I am retired but worked in sales for years, so I am very familiar with how the sales process should work . Ferlando did a great job of gathering information and pulling things together to get the deal done. I was impressed with his professionalism and his attitude, I would highly recommend him to my friends who are looking to buy a car. Thank you Ferlando, well done.

I am retired and have five Grandchildren under the age of six. My old car was eleven years old and no longer met my needs. I needed a car that could get me and the Little Ones with carseats to an event all together. Daarina recommended the perfect car. She was outstanding. She was very patient and considerate. I pulled up into the dealership and TJ was standing outside waiting which meant he was the one to put me in a vehicle. I had an idea of what I wanted but wasn't sure it was there but TJ showed me a vehicle that was actually better than what I wanted. He was real pleasant to me and my spiritual father. I was in the market for a newer vehicle. I was specifically looking for either a Chevy Equinox or a GMC Terrain. I visited several dealerships and wasn't too happy with the high pressure I received from a few salesmen. That all changed when I visited Phillips. I met Barth Eastman one morning and I said "All I was doing was looking." Barth said "Ok, and if I had any questions, just ask." I did have a question and we spoke. He gave me his card and that was it. I then decided on 2 different vehicles from Phillips huge inventory. I visited the dealership once again. Barth and I spoke. A few days later I called Barth and said I was interested in 1 of the 2 we spoke about. The Terrain was at the Frankfort location, but Bart reassured me he would pick it up for me to look at. He picked up the vehicle on his day off!! Talk about dedication. I came in, drove the Terrain and was immediately sold on it. From the initial visit to the closing of the deal with Mark Hawkins, I was dealt with nothing but professionalism and both Barth and Mark made sure I was at ease with the deal on the Terrain.I would MOST DEFINATELY recommend the fine folks at Phillips to anyone in the market for a new or pre owned vehicle. Barth and Mark BOTH went above and beyond with me . Thank you guys for the excellent deal and also for the no pressure to buy attitude.I am DEFINATELY going back to Phillips Chevrolet FIRST for my next vehicle purchase.

It was a great experience with Barth Eastman from the time I walked in the door from the time my daughter drove away in her brand new beautiful 2017 Chevy Cruze. His personality and warm smile immediately made us feel like family. He answered all of our questions no matter how small or repetitive. I am so incredibly impressed with Chevrolet...especially Phillips Chevy in Lansing Illinois. Just retired...Chevrolet is budget friendly first...but that's just the beginning. The Selection is there...the Safety features are there..the Style...the Technology...the Quality. Just purchased a 2016 Chevy Trax LTZ Midnight Edition...I am so so satisfied with my selection. Did my research...my homework..looking for the most for my money. Previously been with Lexus since the 90's..riding RX 350..first luxury smaller SUV..ok so I'm used to bells and whistles, this Chevy has won my heart. The driving experience is smooth..the interior...the leather...heated seats..the space capacity. The four cylinder engine picks up on the highway..just like the big dogs. I could go on and on. I was searching for a new 2016 LS Tahoe and began corresponding with Jorge Rios via the internet. Jorge was great. He wasn't pushy and kept me informed of new internet deals as they were published. One of the deals was unbelievable and I scheduled a date and time to test drive the vehicle at the Lansing location. That is were I met salesman Eric Pickett. Eric too was great. He knew what I was interested in and closed out the deal. Eric was welcoming, very professional, knowledgeable of the product and most importantly he wasn't pushy. I highly recommend Phillips Chevrolet and if you decide to visit the showroom in Lansing ask for Eric Pickett, you won't be disappointed.

My husband seen a truck on line the night before and we had a very busy day so we stopped in to look at the truck and was greeted by Shawn. We told him we wanted to look at the particular truck and we went for a test drive and liked it. We went inside to discuss price, and I told him we wanted a backup camera installed in it and if he could do that for the price he quoted we would take it. He came back with an offer to split the price of the camera and I asked for $100 less and we would put a down payment on it and come back and purchase it, because we had plans made with friends, he came back and he said yes and I put down $7,000.00. We came back later and filled out more paper work and we would be back tomorrow to pay the rest since the banks were closed today. Everyone was very nice to us especially Shawn. Thank you very much.

My salesman, Mr. T.J. Pacocha was waiting at the door when my wife and I drove in the lot. He is a very good salesman who was very patient with an old man and an old woman. He explained everything and answered every question. He spent a lot of time with us not knowing whether we were going to buy or not. We were supposed to pick up our car at 12 noon on Wednesday October 5, 2016 .Mr. Pacocha did not start work until 1:00 pm that day but Mr. Troy Ivory got us started on our finishing paperwork as if he were our original salesman. Mr. Mark Hawkins, the finance manager, painstakingly explained everything about our financing. Mr. Henry King explained all of the aftermarket car necessities. The problem I have with this dealership is that I was lied to several times and was almost strong armed to stay in a deal that I could not afford. Went in bought a car on 9/27. I called on 9/28 and told them I could not afford to keep the new car. Was told my car was sold and since I signed electronically I couldn't return the car. Never was offered to come find anything lower just no and that was final. Once the finance company called I was honest I told them I loved the car and would love to keep it but it didn't fit into my budget. The dealership then told me to just tell them I wanted it and then come back and they would lower it after the deal went threw. When I refused to do that they said my old car was sold they wasn't giving me anything for it so I would have to leave with nothing. No old car, no new car, and no money for the value of my old car. After 7 days I told them to take their car and it just wasn't fair they couldn't do nothing about my car. I began to leave told them I'll just have to hire someone to help recover my car they said your car is in the back and gave me my old car back. Been lying for 6 days to keep me in a uncomfortable sale. Sad part this has been my dealer of choice for2 years now I sent in 3 ppl 2 bought cars. I am never going back not even for a oil change and I never will refer anybody else.

We were on a tight budget and our salesman, Phil Derkacy, did a great job working with us and didn't try to push us into a higher priced car at all. We drove out in a new car that the wife and kids love and stayed in our budget. We were there late (after the dealership closed) and Phil stayed til after everything was finished to help my wife with all the features in the car. He even set the radio stations for her. Everyone there was very nice and the finance representative, Tom, was also exceptional.

Needing a new car as ours was destroyed three weeks ago from a driver suffering a medical emergency., my wife and I ventured to the dealership. Barth Eastman met us at the door enthusiastically ready to hear our needs. He spent a lot of time showing and explaining features of the cars that we desired to check out. We picked out the exact Impala we wanted over the internet. When we got to the dealership we were greeted by Nestor Urrutia. He arranged a test drive and we were impressed with the car and Nestor's helpful knowledge. He explained the new technology very well. Once back at the dealership we settled on the price quickly. We went to lunch and when we got back the paperwork was ready. We set up the OnStar right at Nestor's desk in comfortable air conditioning. Tom Kernagis and Bill Goldrick helped with the paperwork finalization. We left with our new car and we are very happy with the whole experience.

I walked into the dealership to inquire about a buying a new car. Mike helped me out from the time I walked into the dealership. He did everything he could to help out my mother and I with financing the car. I went in for a used car and Mike talked me through the benefits of owning a brand new 2017 for a similar price. He gave me some great information on a past experience I had at another dealership to help better my situation. I appreciate all the help at Phillips Chevrolet in Lansing and will highly recommend the dealership to anyone. To complete my experience, I drove away with a brand new 2017 Chevy Spark.

Stopped in Phillips Chevrolet for info about a trailer hitch. I spoke with Barth Eastman & he took care of it right away!! While Ryan & his crew were installing the hitch they discovered a tire pressure monitor problem & repaired it. They washed the ar too!! The sales & service department are just great. I spoke with Jackie over the phone and via emai, she was very helpful. We were able to reach a very competitive price for the vehicle, this was important to me because I was traveling over 150 miles to get the truck. I was disappointed to find out that although I had an appointment to meet with her she had actually made this appointment on her day off. Eric stepped up to help me and was amazing. Truly one of the best salesmen I have ever delt with. He went above and beyond in every way, even paid himself to put fuel in my truck for me. Unfortunately the truck was not exactly as advertised and lacked the tow package that it said it had. Eric was very helpful although management was not willing to help me with this. Fortunately the friendly sales staff made up for the unfriendly management.

Shawn did an awesome job of clarifying everything and answering all of my questions and then some. He was very friendly and showed me the entire store. I saved over $3,000 off MSRP (which definitely made a 90mi drive worth it). While I was waiting he was kind enough to fire up a Z06 I was drooling over. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming and just made the entire process very positive! I will definitely be looking to Phillips Chevrolet for my next purchase.

Overall, I had a good experience at Phillips Chevrolet. It was a quick and easy process. I left with the car I wanted. Nestor Urrutia was my sells person. He was very friendly and down to earth. Most personable sales person I've ever met. On the other hand, he didn't throw in any deals for me. :-( lol! In addition, it was great working with Henry King and Angel Santana. Good Evening,Just want to take the time out of my day and just say THANKS to MICHAEL STRAMAGLIA here at PHILLIPS CHEVROLET OF LANSING. For my 1st experience here at Phillips Chevrolet, it was just CRAZY AWESOME!! Stacy our sales person was excellent. She answered all of our questions very efficiently. She was able to match the online deal. She made sure we knew we could come back if we had any questions. She will even help us during our service appointments.The problem that we had was with the dealership's process. We waited and waited to go to all the different people. I took my girlfriend to Phillips Chevrolet in Lansing Ill because that"s where I bought my car last year. Barth Eastman was our salesman & from our 1st meeting I liked him immensley. he was very down earth & did not try to talk my girlfriend into just any old car so he could make a sale. In fact he stayed later than his shift yesterday just so we could be our salesman. He gave up his whole evening off to help my girlfriend find that perfect car. I don't know many sales people who would do that for a new customer. My girlfriend was looking for a used car with in her budget & Barth tired & tried to find something that would work. But unfortunately he was unable to find her a used car in her price range. So he went to his manager to see what other options he could offer her & he came back to us & told her that he had 1 car left that he could give her 20% off the list price & that could be added to her money down. So we test drove a 2016 Sonic LT which is the same car I have & absoultley love it. She really liked it as well. So we went back to Barth"s desk & he wrote the sale but the monthly payment was more than she could afford so he asked her what was the absolute most she afford to pay a month & he would take that offer back to his manager & see if that"s a workable price. Well they accepted her offer & because she hadn't gotten car insurance yet he got her a good porice w/a company they use. But because she had to put down a deposit to get started she was unable to do that last nite. So Barth went to his manager again to see what they could to to help her drive away w/her new car lastnite. Well he came to us & told us they take care of that deposit & gave her 2 oils changes as well. I would highly recommend Phillips Chevrolet in l=Lansing, Il & to make sure to have Barth Eastman as your salesman.

Just as a side note, my dad is super apprehensive about car salesmen, but Josh surpassed my dad's opposition. My dad actually thought that he was very helpful! Phillips had an outstanding selection of vehicles. Even on a slow day, the chances of you being the only person waiting to get to the finance people are slim to none. I arrived at 4pm to look at new cars, I had no idea that 4pm was Josh's quitting time on that day and never once during the entire process did he make me feel rushed to make a decision or that he had some place better to be. He answered my questions and asked question of his own to get me what I wanted. Four hours later I had what I wanted, the color I wanted and I was a happy new car owner. Not sure how car sales people get paid, but Jpsh earned overtime that.day.

I called right away when my check engine light came on in my brand new 2016 Chevy Malibu. Jonetta was able to get me in right away in order to resolve the issue. My service advisor Sean was EXCELLENT! He provided me with specific details pertaining to the recall call of the check engine light on my vehicle and ensured me that my vehicle will be taken care of PROMPTLY!! It was a very hot day and our salesperson TJ made sure we had water to drink while he was showing us the new cars. We ended up buying an Impala and trading in an Equinox. My salesman, Floyd Brown, and the negotiator, Phil were awesome in helping my to reach a deal that was in my budget. I worked with Smitty and Paul during my visit to Phillips Chevy. From the moment I walked in the door to the very end of my deal they were both outstanding! Smitty was very patient with me, he answered all my questions, he was very helpful and knowledgeable. I was nervous about purchasing a vehicle because it had been many years since I had done so but Smitty made me very comfortable. In fact when I sat in his chair, he told me to relax. Our salesman, Barth Eastman, couldn't have been nicer or more knowledgable about the car we were interested in. He also had a great sense of humor. He made us feel as if we were old friends. We ended up purchasing a 2016 Trax LTZ from him. The sales manager, Mark Catuara, came over to welcome us and introduce himself. A fantastic person, bubbling with energy and warmth. We then met with Henry King, who counseled us on various options that were available for our new car. Again, great guy, very professional and knowledgable as well. Finally, we met with Paul Kay, the finance specialist. If the other three gentlemen were an "ice cream sundae", Paul is the "cherry" on top! We LOVED him! He was a joy to work with and, because we were on a tight time schedule, he covered all the details quickly, yet amazingly he was able to offer us the perfect solution that met all our needs. Having had experience with car-buying being a hassle, I was putting off buying a new car. Went to another dealership first where I immediately felt pressured. Left quickly and came to Phillips. I am glad I did. Salesman Phil Derkacy was patient, knowledgable and courteous. He could not have done a better job working with me and even drove the car to my house as I did not have a trade-in! The finance manager was also both efficient and thorough. I have not never had such a great car buying experience. My product specialist Barth Eastman took his time to understand what I was looking for and they made it happen. I drove away with a 2016 Malibu LT which is what I wanted. They took their time and I was in and out in only a few hours. The follow up has been great. I went in to trade my 2009 Malibu and was first recommended to test drive the 2016 Chevy cruse. I knew right away it wasn't the car for me and unlike other sales men Josh wasn't pushy and didn't try to sell me on 100 reasons on why the car was perfect for me. Instead him and manager Phil worked on getting me into the 2016 Malibu I wanted. Overall Josh was very helpful and understand and had great patience with what I was looking for and made it work. I inquired on a vehicle though internet sales from the Phillips website. Their internet price was approximately $500 less than any other dealer for the same exact car within 75 miles of my home. When comparison shopping, another dealer located a few miles from my house, told me that the dealer (Phillips) won't honor their quoted price and that you will waste a trip - and that they are only quoting that price to get you in the door. So I traveled 35 miles from Elmhurst (where I have 2 other Chevy stores less than 10 miles from my house) to see if Phillips would honor the price. They did honor the internet quote and I was able to negotiate a slightly better price with my salesperson Troy (and the rest of the sales managers). The experience was a pleasant one - and everyone I met were not like the typical car dealer "types". Henry in the accessories/aftermarket team worked out a fair deal on a vehicle protection plan.And the Finance experience was highly streamlined.Overall, buying a car is never a "fun" process, but these guys walked the talk, and minimized the normal and expected games that occur at many dealers.I am very happy with my experience at Phillips and will recommend others to give them a chance to earn their business.

I am not into bashing other companies however I went to a Hyundai dealer near where I live and the experience was horrific. I spent 4 days with them just to not receive a car. I got a news paper on Friday and saw Chevy had a special for their new Trax. So Saturday morning I went there and was greeted by Mike Stramaglia and from there it went AMAZING!!!. I mean this guy went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable with the car I was getting and make sure he stayed on top of things. He and his manager Justin worked together to get me a good deal since the Trax I seen in the paper had already been purchased. I was on a fixed amount due to what I was approved for and they worked their magic. Mike was very patient throughout the entire process. I know everyone says they never write reviews however I never have until now. Mike was not the kind of sales person that hounds you or play games so that he could benefit from it like most dealerships. He had my best interest in mind and he delivered as promised. I definitely recommend going here, everyone is so friendly and kind, they definitely put their customer's first. Please see Mike when you do :)

My salesman, Mr. Eric Pickett and my GOD made everything possible on my new car purchase on April 20, 2016. They both were my genies and made all wishes come true and then some. Eric was very friendly, nice and helpful, as well as he kept his word throughout the whole process. Mr. Pickett was not pushy at all unlike most salesmen. He was professional throughout the entire ordeal. I traded in my 2013 Chevy Malibu with nearly 90,000 thousand miles that I've had for 4 years. Let's just say that I'm now driving a brand, new 2016 Chevy Equinox SUV/truck; GAP insurance included (not a previous benefit that I had on my previous purchase); no money down; I'm not upside down from my Malibu (owned $9,261.00); they gave $7,000.00 for my Malibu; $3,000 rebate which means that ate up the $2,261.00 that was left over from the Malibu); there is only a $67.77 difference in between my car note and my now truck note; my credit is not A1 and my monthly payments are still under $500 per month. Also, Mr. Pickett even got me a remote starter without any additional cost or increase in my note; and my note went down from the original amount which was still under $500, so that was very refreshing to hear! Oliver Marin set me up an appointment to come in and even answered some difficult questions on the phone. Mr. Derkacy was very friendly and explained all the features of the car and all the information I needed to make the appropriate decision in buying a vehicle. Henry King was great also explained everything I could add to my car and pointed out some items are essential to owning and keeping your car in top shape both interior and exterior. Finally I went into Tom Kernagis office where we talked the final numbers and warranties this is usually the most scary part but he made it easy to understand and found the best options for me. Overall the best car buying experience I ever had.

I walked into Phillips Chevy in Lansing on a fact finding mission and left with a brand new car! I have bad credit so I was just hoping to get info on what I needed for a new car after other dealerships told me I'd need astronomical funds to get anything decent. While the price of my new car is not ideal, my salesperson told me that once my credit goes up in a year or so, I can refinance to get the rate I want. He did everything he could to get me in a reliable car that I like without draining my wallet in the process.

I began with their internet dept since I live 150+ miles away; and I was professionally handled by Sierra & Jackie to arrive at a price suitable to visit the dealership to test drive the pre-owned vehicle I'd selected. I was approached by a salesman Philip Derkacy, he was very friendly and knowledgeable , he explained to me my options of trading in my car for a new one. Overall an excellent experience and the we're definitely looking to work with you. They were very flexible with negotiations as well. I was in my new vehicle within 5 hours. I just wish they would have presented a more reasonable initial price, I spend a few hours just haggling the price.
