My son recently purchased a Colorado from Dan Kane. I am not going to lie. The dealership made a logistical error. We almost couldn't get him his first truck. The truck that he had his heart set on after doing lots research and comparative shopping. In fact it happened at another dealership and they said sorry, end of story. We came to Dan. Given our experience elsewhere, my son was very nervous. Danny assured him and gave his word that he would make sure he got the truck upon arrival. Unfortunately yes, someone made a mistake. But that is how you judge someone. Its when there is a mistake, what do they do to resolve it. Even Danny's manager told us that getting the truck back was all him. He spent two days(including his day off evidently) calling and getting the truck. He told us that "he had given us his word and that would exhaust every resource to get it back. He also apologized even though I have been assured by his boss that this wasn't his error in any way. Unbelievably, we got a call. The truck was en route. Danny was driving it himself back to the got dealership. I've been buying cars for 40 years. I've never been so impressed in my life. I can't imagine buying a vehicle from anyone else in the future.

I found this dealership on the internet and it is over one hour from my home but, they offered a great deal that I couldn't turn down so, I took the trip and it was so worth it! I loved the treatment we (myself and my wife) received. Everybody was very corteous, friendly and above all honest. I traded in my old car and they paid a very fair price for it. I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of. My sales person was Ernesto Rodriguez and this man took the phrase "excellent service" to a whole new level. He really raised the bar. He made us feel like family and again I appreciate the honesty with what everything was handled. I even saved his number in my contacts as I feel that I found a new friend. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone who wants a great deal on a great car. Do yourself a favor and go to this dealership before you try any other!

Its like what we oftem hear " don't give up, when the time comes, it will happen "Yesterday me and my wife bought our first car , after so many months dreaming about it and numerous places that we visit , we came across Pine Belt Chevy in Lakewood. Amazing location, display and staff ; since the beggining we were welcomed with smiles. Our "mission" then started when Ernesto Rodriguez( the sales consultant/ super hero ) begin to help us to find the best fit for our small family .. A very nice smooth process that he with all his experience and professionalism made it fell beyond pleasant. At the end of that afternoon we were going home on our Chevy Cruze with smiles that you could see from a mile away!!! After 30 plus years of driving Lincolns, based on a rave review from Consumer Reports, I decided to buy an Impala and went to the dealership closest to my house, that is Pine Belt Chevrolet in Lakewood. The show room is impressive and personnel at reception is polite, professional and friendly. Probably the thing that impressed me the most is that I did not have to haggle about the price, it was spot on to what I thought would be the best possible price a dealership would offer as was the price for the trade in. The young guy that I dealt with, Todd Boucher is very knowlegable, friendly and helpful, to the point that he has been twice to my house on his own time, to help me with details about the car, something that I appreciate very much. I may have found my new car dealership.

Working with BIll was extremely easy and without pressure. At first I told him what I was looking for, a new Silverado 1500 LS, and what my price range was. BIll was honest and up front with me about the pricing not being in my budget. Thought a new truck wasn't in the near future for me. I told Bill I would contact him in the future when I was ready, and didn't feel any pressure. The next day I contacted Bill about a certified Silverado they had in stock and within 3 hours I was out the door with my new truck and within my budget with no hassle. Hello Im Aleks !! So im going to start by saying that i am 20 years old who works off the books. It can be very difficult for this age group to get in to a vehicle you want unless you have parents to help you out. Well i dont, so i went through many many "craiglists" cars. I got fed up with all the mechenical problems so i decided to go to pinebelt....6 months ago Billy made it all possible and got me a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500. I was amazed that he made it possible with no paystubs and, tiny bit of down payment!! Unfortunately recently i started to work less and couldnt take the payments nor gas anymore. so i went to pinebelt after 6 months of having the truck and Billy wasnt there, the other salesman couldnt help me . The next day i go back and Billys there! Thank god. He lit up my day once again. i had no doubt he could work his magic and help me out.i wasnt wrong ( mind you it is almost imposible to get another loan in such a short time) . my credit droped, still no paystubs. And somehow today im driving a 2016 chevy sonic turbo. They covered the payoff on the truck and hooked me up and now i got my cute yellow car :D !!! But a little bit about Billy. To be a awsome salesman you need to connect with your customers and create a friendship. He will tell you the truth rather than make money on you. He is a people person , he will make the prosses a breeze. We weren't sure which option would be best for us to buy out our lease or lease a new Cruze. After explaining the options we decided to lease a new 2016 Cruze . Would HIGHLY recommend Ernesto Rodriguez if you are looking into purchasing a vehicle. Thoroughly took the time to explain everything not just about the vehicle purchased but also took the time to present the best options for me as far as leasing compared to buying and different cost options. I have a small child and really needed a safe and reliable car. Personally I always found going to car dealerships a nightmare but with Ernesto I felt like he was genuinely helping me not just trying to sell me a car. Made the process very fast and easy. I got our third vehicle from pinebelt Chevy in rt 88 Lakewood nj, first vehicle is 2013 Equinox in 2013, from our salesman Rob, now a manager , 2nd is a Malibu 2012 for our don who's in college and he's loving the car, our salesman was William Sherm aka Bill... I got my brand new truck, 2016 Silverado LT from Bill also... These guys listen and understand a buyers financial situation. Bill and Rob work patiently with us. Look here & buy elsewhere. Salesman, Adam, was disingenuous regarding delivery of offers to his manager. Manager refused to counter with anything larger than $100.00 Decrease in sales price when given a legitimate offer for a used car, 5 years old, and 100,000 miles. Why buy a used car where you can't bargain unless the inflated sticker price is what you want to pay?

Eugene was awesome. He found me the SUV I was looking with the important features I needed. He was respectful of my budget which was incredibly important to me. I didn't feel pressured to buy more than I need. He was patient while I measured cargo zones to be sure sure my dog crates would fit and even moved seats to show me all the options. He spent most of the afternoon with me and even set up my on star for me. I was very happy with my experience at Pine Belt Chevy and with my vehicle.

To make a long story short..Me and my wife visited the dealership in search of a new Malibu being that our lease was up soon on her car. We were matched with Brad a super nice guy and a pleasure to talk and deal with. My wife wanted the Malibu Premium but they didn't have the color in stock that she wanted. We put a deposit down for it to be ordered. They knew going into this that my wifes car had remaining paymnents on it.. so based on the payoff and the price on the car to be ordered we knew within a few dollars what the payment would be. We were told that it would take 4-6 weeks to come in.. we patiently waited and then were told the car was pulled off assembly line for quality inspection. Almost 3 months later to the day the car finally came in so we went Wednesday 5-4 to c and test drive it. Needless to say my wife loved it so restarted with the same #s were we left off, pretty much thought it would be a done deal.. to my surprise Brad came back to us and they wanted $50 more a month. I got furious and asked how that could be being that we made a few more payments on my wife's car in the meantime and if anything payment should have been lower because of it. We were told the incentives have changed therefor it called for that increase,, Needless to say say we left the dealership (me furious as xxxx and my wife very disappointed). The one good thing that came out of this is that Action Chevrolet had the same identical car (color and options except interior color) and we drove away with it that same night for the same price as we had originally negotiated with Pinebelt. I guess things happen for a reason. After this experience i will never step foot in that dealership again for my future vehicles. I still get mad thinking and even typing about it. Hope this was helpful to anybody considering going to dealership.

I had purchased a 2015 Silverado 3500 from Pine Belt. We were recently mailed a recall notice for a bolt on the brake and I know we only have 24 months for our free oil changes so I told the service department of Pine Belt to do a oil change even with the truck ONLY having 2,550 miles on it I figured get it done while its there. Well while it was there they dropped it 6 ft in the air off the lift. This was on 4/22. As of yesterday 4/29 I still have not heard anything about our truck if it's totaled are they going to try and fix it. I told the service manager that even if they try and fix it I did not want that truck back. I gave them a new truck that did not need X amount of work and that's what I want back. If they can find me a 2015 same exact thing that is what I want. I had not heard anything in a week so yesterday I sent a message to Pine Belts Vice President Ken Martin and 10 min later I did receive a phone call from one of the sales rep Ernesto to come down and pick out our new truck and they will take our old truck. Great then we go there today and tell us after us sitting around for a hour and looking at a truck that was $100 more on the sticker they come back and tell me that we have to pay them $7500 because the truck we picked was a 2016. And this 2016 didn't come with some of the stuff our 2015 seemed to have. Even after looking at the web site and the web site sticker had more than the actual truck had. After getting very upset I asked to speak to the manager Dan who relaying these messages to us and he would not come out and talk to us. Then told his sales rep to tell us to contact our lawyer. I have been literally sick to my stomach this past week. I can not sleep and when I do I have nightmares about this truck. We paid cash for this truck, so we are out this money. I just don't know what to do. We bought this truck with 3 miles on it and again it only has 2,550 miles. We had 2,000 in pine belt cash from all the work we had on other vehical so and other ins entices when we bought. I am on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

I just want to let everyone know that if you are in the market for a new car and you're looking for a Chevy, Pine Belt Chevy in Lakewood, NJ is your only destination. I recently had the privilege of working on a deal for a new Camaro with Pine Belt's Bob Penny. Ernesto is an honest, friendly and caring person. I had to write this review because I HATE buying cars, in fact I was trading in a car that didn't have the features I absolutely wanted and was lied to by the salesman (not from Pine Belt)!!! I usually avoid the process by sending my husband but he was ill. I walked in, met Ernesto and from that moment on he couldn't do enough. He searched for days for exactly what I wanted. made sure he went over every feature and every aspect of the deal. He kept in constant contact with me every step. He worked around my crazy schedule and was respectful of last minute schedule changes. What else can I say except that I will tell everyone I can to buy from him after this amazing experience. FRANK TROMBATURA and BRIAN BROWN Lied and added a extra $ 1,895 to the sales contract. We asked to speak to the general manager. Frank went and got DAVID KIDD. David Kidd introduced himself as the general manager. David Kidd wasn't a general manager. David Kidd was a sales manager. LIED. You would think the real general manager or higher up owners of this business would fix what there employees did wrong, but they didn't. Because of that they lost two more sales. We told our son DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM PINE BELT CHEVY LAKEWOOD, NJ Then I just went and bought another vehicle but not from Pine Belt Chevy of LAKEWOOD, NJ . I have to say that this is the first time ever buying a car and not having a headache after leaving!. My daughter bought a car from Eugene last year and highly recommended him. I talked to him on the phone before coming by and talked about what I needed. I came in and he had the right car pulled up and made everything simple and fun. Thanks so much!. As a first time buyer with little credit to my name, I was very nervous. However, I was immediately greeted by Russ before I walked into the store and felt very comfortable talking to him about what I was hoping to find. When Russ realized I would need help from the finance department he brought me to meet Jeff, who was very straightforward with me. I'm not sure exactly how but he worked his magic and together Jeff and Russ found the perfect car that I could reasonably afford. I'm very thankful to have met these two individuals as they made my car buying process very easy and honest. I would deffiently recommend the dealership, as well as Russ and Jeff.

I commend Bob Penny, salesman at Pine Belt, for his courtesy, professionalism and overall assistance regarding my auto purchase. Many years ago I visited Pine Belt and was so annoyed by the salesman's patronizing manner, I walked out. This experience with Bob was 100% on the mark. No pressure, he took the time to address all my concerns and patiently dealt with my indecisiveness regarding final auto choice. All salesman could learn from his attitude toward customers. Also, I give high marks to Robert Sambataro and David Kidd for their non-pressure to close the deal. It was actually enjoyable to negotiate with all of these men.

we have been dealing with Pinebelt since 2007 and have not had any problems. Our cars (5) have always been serviced by them and our experience is always commendable. We have purchased 2 cars since last July (a Trax and our Equinox) and Eugene Pascucci was our salesperson both times. He is quite familiar with the cars and their functions. He brought out 2 Equinoxs one grey and one dark blue and we chose the blue one. He has a great attitude and personality. All the people at Pinebelt are great to deal with and we will return.

Went into Pinebelt with my daughter to see the Equinox and was assigned Danny Kane. Well can't say enough about Danny. Took me right out for a test drive, showed me how easy it was to use the rear view camera (was a little nervous). Had a million questions and he had a million and one answers. Extremely knowledgable about not only the main features but also knew in detail about the extras. Really seemed to care about my budget and also knowing what I would "really" want as far as features. I feel he went over and beyond even arranging for us to take the car home overnight to show my husband, and made himself available to talk to my husband the next day. Decided to lease (which is what I had wanted) and we went back the next day and leased our car. Our entire experience was handled professionally but also felt like fun. Never felt pressured or intimadated or any question too small. Felt like we made a family friend tonight with Danny - my daughter and I had tons of laughs while also learning quite a bit about the car leasing experience. Nice to know that if we have any questions we are able to contact Danny - which we most likely will (hopefully we won't bug him too much - but no promises).Would highly recommend Danny to anyone looking to buy or lease from Pinebelt - you won't be disappointed. Prior to meeting Eugene for the first time, he had always stayed in communication with me via the internet (emailing) and was accommodating to my hectic and variable schedule. Being able to have a him at the "tip of my fingers" really speaks volumes about his accessibility. When I met him he was very laid back and attentive to my needs. NOT INTIMIDATING at all! This is something many people are always afraid of when it comes to buying a car and Eugene is not pressuring whatsoever. He truly looked out for my best interest. His attitude/demeanor was very positive.His knowledge of cars was very impressive! I own a Camaro SS (and have been a Camaro enthusiast) and he was able to tell me in detail every little spec about the car as well as the new line of cars coming out in the future. Camaro's aren't something that are sold everyday so for him to know that much about those kind of cars says a lot about his overall knowledge of more commonly purchased vehicles! He was very quick in getting the finance numbers sorted and paperwork processed. Communication between him and the other departments like Finance was smooth and very easy! They even have freshly baked otis spunkmeyer cookies and bottles of water at the front desk!!!!

Very disappointed in there sales department. I had put in a request for a certain vehicle. spoke with a sales person there and he said he would take care of everything. He had the vehicle for me. I drove an hour to get there and the vehicle was gone. They wasted my time. Would never purchase from there EVER..... Still waiting for the salesman to call me and apologize..... conveniently he had left for the day, when I got there. Worst service I have ever received from a dealership!!!!

I went in looking for an Equinox with AWD. Unfortunately, the only one in their inventory was not currently on their lot. Kwesi pointed me in the direction of the car I eventually purchased, the Subaru Crosstrek. Kwesi was a real pleasure to deal with. Very respectful and passionate about his job. I went in to this dealership looking for a 2016 Chevy Camaro, came to realize the payments were too high for my budget. Spoke with salesmen Ernesto Rodriguez, he was upfront, honest and straight to the point. With my credit, he worked tirelessly with the bank to get me approved. My husband and I went to Pinebelt Chevy of Lakewood to test drive the Chevy Tahoe. We met with Bob Penny who was very courteous, attentive and knowledgeable. He paid close attention to our needs and was excellent with following up. A few days after our visit a new Tahoe arrived and thanks to Bob's attention to detail he knew the vehicle met our needs. He even sent me a short video of the Tahoe which I greatly appreciated. We set up an appointment to see the vehicle and so happened to be on our Anniversary. When we arrived Bob was tending to another customer but he immediately placed us in good hands with Todd Boucher who was already well versed on what we needed. It was evident that there is great synergy at Pinebelt Chevrolet. We were also with our children ages 9, 7 and 4 the kids really enjoyed the fresh baked cookies and small bottles of water provided by the dealership (it's the little things that count) Todd was friendly, patient and also a great listener. He went back and forth communicating our needs until we were able to reach a reasonable agreement. Finalizing the paperwork and making our 1st payment was simple with no hidden fees or pushing us to buy unnecessary coverages. Todd stayed with us until everything was finalized. He explained all of the perks that Chevy provides including the awesome rewards program and the special touch was that very 1st photo of our family with our beautiful Chevy. Thank you Bob and Todd for wonderful experience in the purchase of our very 1st Chevy. We are beyond pleased and we absolutely love the Tahoe and all the wonderful little perks it has like Onstar and Lane assist. I recently bought a new car at Pinebelt Chevy. My sales guy was Danny Kane. He is a great guy. He never pressured me to decide what I wanted to do, like a typical car salesman. I would say he is anything but. He was actually actually able to put me in a better car with more features because he listened. I told him I don't put many miles on my car. Also,a huge Yankees fan. He got me a Cruze LT in Yankees blue" with a back up camera and touch radio for same price as a lesser one because I was ok with a demo with 2200 miles on it. Its not often that someone shows you how to get more for less just because he paid attention when we talking. In my life,it has always seemed like the salesman puts me in the car he wants to sell as opposed to finding what I really wanted and couldn't be happier with. He even came outside in the snow to put my plates on when they came in, even though I told him I could do it at home in the garage...I'd highly recommend him to anyone.

The salesman, Mike Chizhik and dealership were excellent. What is not is Chevrolets policy on zip code specific rebates. You cannot buy out of area at the same price as locals if an area specific rebate is in force. I have filed a formal complaint with the commerce commission and Congress regarding this restraint of trade issue. Plus I bought a four runner instead of a chevy. GM, smarten up! I would not hesitate to buy from this dealer or salesperson, I just think GM needs to back off and let the marketplace do its job, not some back office bean counter.

Great showroom, awesome chocolate chip cookies, but of course, I wouldn't be here if I hadn't had a top-notch buying experience. Bill Sherman helped me get out of my Ford lease (Ford makes it tough) into a great Chevy Cruze, and has followed up with me every step of the way. I couldn't ask for a better customer experience. I purchased my 2012 Chevy Equinox in July 2015, I had to bring it in a week after I purchased it for a noise in the brakes, they said it was rust and they cleared it off. noise went away I also asked to have my tire checked, it kept saying low, they said nothing wrong with the tire and reset the warning light, then the steering was making noise and light was on again for tire, they said it was the steering pump and said the tire was fine and reset the warning light again, within a week the steering was making so much noise I was afraid to drive it, they checked it and said I needed the steering column replaced, They ordered the parts and I brought my car back in again, after they fixed the steering column it was still making so much noise brought back again and they said their was air in the steering. Tire still not fixed warning light still coming on, I took my car to STS Tire and they pulled a nail out of the tire and plugged it, It's now fixed, Then my car started shaking when I would put my brakes on, brought it in and they said the had to replace rotors, I was charged for this $236.00. I only owned it for 4 months during all this. I'm still hearing noise in the steering, So I guess I am not feeling good about the service I have received. I love my car but I haven;t felt comfortable with the mechanics of my car, I keep feeling like whats next and they told me my warranty is expired now, I thought my warranty was for longer then 6 months.

I know he's Itallian but he was very helpful for this Irish Girl! Walked in with about a half an hour left before closing, and Dan walked me through the whole process with so much care and patience. Even though it was an hour and a half past closing by the time we finished our deal, he still took the time to go through all the details of my new car with me, making sure Onstar was set up correctly and that I knew how everything worked in the car.I very much appreciated Dan's patience with me as we worked out the financial arrangements and then final sales processes! I went in looking for help to make up my mind between a grand Cherokee and a wrangler 4 door hard top. I ended up getting an amazing jeep grand cherokee limited. Immediately when I walked in, I was greeted by Todd Boucher. Todd was extremely helpful and knowledgable about the types of cars I was interested in. Rich Lewis was a great salesman. He understood what we were looking for . He knew with a growing family we needed a bigger SUV and brought out a Chevy traverse and automatically pulled up with AWD and 7 seater knowing we needed the features for a soon family of 4. Todd Boucher is a professional! He was attentive to all my questions and concerns regarding the Chevy Equinox. I've owned Nissan Pathfinders for the past 25 years and I wasn't sure if I wanted to make the switch. Happy I did!!! Todd carefully explained all the features of the Equinox to me, as it was fully loaded to my satisfaction. I stopped into Pine belt one evening in November just to look around the lot as I was just considering a new SUV and met Dave Bizzagotti as I was browsing. To make a long story short, Dave answered every question I had, made the financing easy and got me into the Equinox I wanted. We recently bought a pre-owned Chevy Equinox from Pine Belt. My husband and I have bought several cars together and always dread the long process of negotiation. Bill made everything SO very easy!! From the beginning, he stated that he would do his best to make it easy for us, and he really did that!!! From looking at the car and features, to the negotiation, to the purchase and even follow through after- we had some questions about the car/maintenance after purchase and Bill took the time to respond to every voicemail, and even talk to us more in person the following week, despite it being such a busy time of the year. I went with my Dad to check out some cars I found on cars.com for my first ever car purchase. Dear God, I did not know what I was walking into. Daniel Kane approached me and not even 1 minute into talking with him he would not shut up and kept on running numbers after numbers until my Dad told him I am just looking. He gave me a headache and even asked us if he was being too pushy during this. If you have to ask customers if you are being pushy then obviously you are and I'm not that guy that will tell him off. But it's a damn shame because now I have to tell everyone off so I never run into this hell again. What pissed me off most was how Daniel Kane ALWAYS lies. I gave my information to Daniel Kane in the showroom partly because he said he needed it or he would get in trouble for spending hours with me looking at cars. The other part was because he kept writing numbers on paper during our visit about my monthly payments and said they were all hypothetical guesses in which he isn't allowed to do. So he wanted to check my credit to see how much it would really cost me. He assured me he would run a soft inquiry on my credit and it would not go down. It ended up being 2 hard ones which dropped my score like 15 points and I wasn't approved. I made it clear to Daniel over the phone after our visit that I just wanted to see how much my monthly payments would be. Because of the potential financial issues I was waiting on to find out the outcome of and to look up my future insurance costs. Dan also kept on talking about the 72 months free financing that they never do which I always see. So I end up going back to Pinebelt in like a month or two after being denied still mad from the constant lies and wasted time. I ask to speak to the manager David Kidd about my situation. He ends up being a liar too what kind of shit show are they running here? He said he's never heard of a soft inquiry even when I told him what it was. Dude is like 60 years old, were you born yesterday? You're in the business of selling cars you have to know what a soft inquiry is. So he says I signed the long yellow sheet called an easy purchase with my information saying they can run my credit. So I say prove it because I never signed shit. He ends up coming back with 3 papers and says okay you didn't sign it, it was over the phone. Which was a lie so I ask for copies of them to take to a lawyer. He says I don't have to give you them but I will. So he goes and makes a copy and says the yellow long sheet without my signature on it and information are copyright and he can't give them to me. He does make me copies of the other two papers saying they check my credit score. I'm not 100% sure but when David first brought out the paperwork I think one was run from TransUnion and the other sheet was Equifax. He ends up bringing me 2 copies of the same sheet from Equifax claiming they are different even though they are exactly the same. He must think I am either blind or retarded because they were the same sheet which said my credit was not run to Equifax. All I wanted is David to remove my hard inquiries because I did not give written permission to run my credit. If I wanted to buy the car I would of test drove it and I even received an email asking how my test drive went. The email furthers the fact that they were wrong and are trying to cover up their mistakes.Daniel Kane did say to my Dad over the phone after our trip at pine belt that he did see if I would be approved for a more cheap used car than a brand new one I was shown. Since I was lied to so many times I asked David Kidd while I was talking to him if he can find out if Daniel Kane really didn't lie about running my credit for a used car. After an hour of waiting to talk to the guy over the phone that apparently David Kidd said was going to call to talk to me, I left there for good.I didn't realize how big of a douche Daniel Kane was until later when I went to Lakewood Toyota and Honda Universe and dealt with their salesman. However, I ended up getting my car from Edines. It truly amazes me how everyone I've dealt with at Pine belt keeps lying. If I was in the wrong I wouldn't lie to protect myself. So now I understand where David Kidd, Daniel Kane, and Joseph Pagano get their lies from. It obviously must be a required trait to work for Pinebelt.If anyone doesn't believe what I say I challenge you to go here and deal with Daniel Kane and David Kidd afterward if you have any issue. Also, go to Honda Universe and take notes of the guy I dealt with there named Austin Popejoy. Then tell me otherwise and about your experience. Austin is the must chill, informative and helpful salesman I've dealt with. I wish I could have bought a car from Austin because he deserves the money.

On the morning of 12/14/15, our Equinox started to show "check engine" light. Not able to call at 6:30am and try to make an appointment, we drove from Barnegat to Lakewood to see if the service department could work on our problem. Our Service Advisor,Keith Basile is off on Mondays, so we were assigned to Service Advisor 204 Robert Domolki. We couldn't be more pleased with Robert Domolki and the manner in which he attended to our service need. It is because of the caliber of people like Robert Domolki and Keith Basile that Pine Belt employs, that has had us as customers for the past 35 years. Both the sales consultant Rich Lewis and sales manager Robert Sambataro were very professional and informative as well as friendly which made my experience in purchasing a new Chevy Colorado easy and enjoyable. Rich was great to work with and really went out of his way to show me multiple models and explain options and pricing. Robert was also very accommodating in working through the vehicle costs, trade in value and financing. I was able to get the same finance rate that my own bank offered which enabled me to close the deal with Pine Belt expeditiously. I attend Church with Ernesto Rodriguez and I was looking for a Used Car. The car I choose had some mileage on it and he told me are you exactly sure about this car. He told me the only way I am going to sell you this car if you purchase a extensive warranty package. I fought him for about an hour and he said I rather not sell you anything if you don't listen to me. Two weeks later I had some issues with the car on a Sunday Evening. He called Triple AAA from his own account and there was an issue with the Motor. I was initially upset and he said hold your cool and let me figure it out. He worked with Keith and Dan Ariel and told me what was wrong. I freaked out on him and was rude to him. He never lost his cool and Dan Ariel was awesome. They fixed my truck and Ernesto set up a loaner service for me and never missed anytime at work. I had my doubts and never will ever have doubt about Ernesto. He stuck by his word and even helped me up set up my account on line with Ally. He went above and beyond and his General Manager is a man of his word. I recommend everyone in the Church that Ernesto is Honorable man and true friend. I am a fan for life, This Dealer showed me that their are really good people still in the Auto Industry.

I tried to register for service online. It seemed easy enough but, the times associated with the service hours do not coincide. I showed up at the dealership (Pine Belt) on a Saturday morning around 10? My appointment was logged in but, did not fit the service hours. I was told they would get right on it. My salesman, Danny Kane has single handedly changed my opinion on this industry. I have purchased many different vehicles in my life, and hated it each and every time. Then I came across a guy who was genuine about everything he said. He told me it wasnt becoming a customer, but a member of the Pinebelt family. Boy was he telling the truth. Not only did he give me an amazing experience (unlike the people at Lester Glen, who remind me of every stereotypical cliche I can think of), but he has stayed in touch, reminded me of upcoming service appointments, even sen me a mass card when my mother passed. Its an experience I'll forget. I would highly recommend this gentleman. He's head of the class in my book.

After explaining what model vehicle I was looking to lease, he went outside with me to the large lot full of vehicles.He showed me every one with the colors I liked. Worst dealership I've ever been too. The sales guy was very nice but the rest of the dealership was horrible. The service department is the worst. I called with a question about my auto start before Thanksgiving, its almost Christmas and no call back yet. I called multiple people but no one will help. I was promised a rental car while they were fixing a problem with the radio that didn't work not even 24hrs after I bought the brand new car and they wouldn't give the rental to me so I had to walk home and had no way to get to work for a week after they promised me one. Wish I never went to this dealership. I only did out of convenience that I live close-I will never make that mistake again.

I went to BIll Sherman suggesed by my boss who has bought 4 cars from him already she assured me he's not pushy like the rest of the car dealers you would normally go to. And she was 1000% correct. Bill was great!! He literally took all day with me deciding, he's an extremely hard worker and it shows. He loves what he does. He's very personable with you and doesn't b.s you into buying a car just to make a sale. You feel like your talking to one of your friends. He's extremely honest friendly and kind. Another great 'bill highlight ' is he pays attention to the details you'd want in a car if it doesn't have a sun roof he'll tell you the second you say " ooh what's this car?" Etc; proof he's not just into the sale. Such a hard worker both at pinebelt and even on his days off he's always there to answer any of my questions. Everyone I dealt with there was amazing. And I will gladly recommend friends and family to BIll and staff. Our salesman Mike was the best part of the whole sale and of course we love the car. I was a little annoyed at the pushing for the gap insurance and so sorry we actually bought it. we found out later on, we didnt really need to purchase it. I think this was a tactic on the part of the salesman, who had to completely redo the contract after doing the whole thing on a different vin number. But he managed to talk us into the gap insurance...... Other than that we were happy with Mike and our car. Mike was so helpful and has always been to us. I only leased a 2015 Chevrolet Impala LTZ because of GM Dan Ariel. He is a very sincere, genuine, world class gentleman. That is truly an asset to Pine Belt Chevrolet. I only brought the car because of him. He really impressed me. I dealt with other sales managers Rob S and Daryl Popper. They didn't impress me not one bit. They were both very transparent, and very in sincere. They make it so obvious that you were only another sale, not a customer. Daryl Popper was extremely nasty and arrogant. I was trying to get more money for my 2014 Jeep that I traded in. He ended our negotiation by extending his hand out. I tried to negotiate further, he told me to leave the dealership. As you can see it wasn't easy for me to buy a car yet. I was so upset by Daryl's arrogance that I called and left a message for Dan Ariel. Dan called me back. We made a deal. I saw one of the other sales managers that I had dealt with earlier. He passed by me several times without acknowledging me. My wife and I went to Pinebelt Chevrolet and Mel Kling III was our dealer. David, the sales manager was clear that they did not play any games with going back and forth. It turns out that we were at the dealer for a large part of the day but that's only because after how great my experience was (Mel worked a deal to sell me a Certified 2013 Chevy Cruze), my wife leased a car. Pinebelt Chevrolet was able to buy out her lease and get her into a brand new Chevy Trax. We were both very happy despite spending more time at the dealership than anticipated. Did I mention they treated us to lunch while we waited.

I have bought and sold and traded many cars. This was by far one of the easiest deals I have done. They were very welcoming and helpful and informative from the beginning. My worst nightmare's have always been going to shop for a vehicle. And that is what I expected when I went to Pinebelt Chevrolet. Boy was I wrong, I worked with Mike and only Mike, not the normal manager coming in at the end of the deal to change everything around and tell you what a great deal your getting. No pressure from start to finish gave me a great price and when I told him the numbers didn't really work for me he went back and sharpened the pencil more and got within 20 bucks of my comfort zone which I was going to take until I saw the numbers on the lease and that worked much better for me. My wife and I are thinking of trading in her car for a small SUV, I think she got a little jealous when she saw my truck. Thanks Mike Great job

I worked with Daryl on the financing and learned some things about credit that I did not know before.The whole experience was far above my expectations. I called the internet sales dept and spoke to two different women who were very professional on the phone. First I went to Lester Glenn on 37 in Toms river and I felt like I was getting stroked .Ok I knew I was upside down on my piece of crap 2015 Ford Escape but I hated the car and wanted OUT!!!.I called Jasmine Monday morning from Pinebelt and told her I was on my way and did not want to deal with the back and forth bullshit .I walked in and was Greeted by Wendy I believe her name was very nice women and very pleasant .The sales manager set me up with Ernesto Rodriguez right away I knew I was going to get out of that Escape he was not aggressive he let me look around the truck I had my heart set on well let's just say I was late for the party the guy next to me was buying that truck my heart sunk Ernesto said do not worry we will make it work so back outside I went. I found a beautiful brown 4 door Silverado with his help and the tall dark and handsome manager who was plugging in the numbers it worked .I drove off with my 50th birthday gift to me .I will be going to Dover race track on Oct 4th to see the race in my new truck never did I feel like I was being pressured into anything .THANK YOU PINEBELT I LOVE MY TRUCK!!!!!!! I was looking for a lease of Chevy Vault through my company's Employee purchase program and was contacted from the dealership. I spoke with Taylor on the phone and I explained what I was looking for. She told me they had one car they can show me and quoted me specific lease terms over the phone and was invited to test drive the car. I showed up at the dealership tested the car and agreed to lease it with the terms I was promised on the phone. All of the sudden the sales people started to play the game with me offering me lease options that had nothing to do with what I was told originally. I made a compromise and agreed to give money down towards the lease, but was told that I am nuts and they will never give me the car on those terms. Eventually it came down to a $10 a month difference. I walked away and they lost a sale on a car that is been phased out by the new and improved model coming out around November. If I wasn't promised the specific lease terms over the phone, I would've never even wasted 2 hours of my time. I work for a larger corporation and am very active in the green car forums. People come to me for advice and recommendations on green cars as I was early adopter of other electric cars. I will make sure that they proceed with caution if they want to deal with Pine Belt Chevy dealership.On another note Adam was nice, but left me to believe that he had no control over the sale. David was the one playing the number games and arguing with me, felt to be a little rude too. I do not like writing reviews, but found it amusing that the invitation email said the following "Congratulations...the hard part is over...you are about to have the best and most hassle free purchase experience ever!". How far from the true.

I have to be honest in saying that I have had some awful experiences with Chevy dealerships. Before going to Pine Belt Chevy in Lakewood, I went to two other dealerships - Action Chevy in Freehold and Oasis Chevy in Old Bridge. Action Chevy employed some of the nastiest and creepiest people I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. I had the most horrific experience there with the employees and management on more than one occasion and would recommend for everyone to stay away from there like the plague. Oasis Chevy had a nice staff but I had the constant feeling I was being ripped off by the associates. It was uncomfortable and turned me off from owning a Chevy. However, this time my boyfriend was in the market for a new vehicle and was interested in the Chevy Trax. I was nervous for him knowing my experiences. We decided to go to Pine Belt because we were hoping there would be better customer service compared to the other places, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the experience!! When we first came in we were greeted by Pam who was such a joyous woman and made us feel welcome. She set us up with Renee as our sales associate and all we have to say is WOW! Those two ladies made the whole experience for us. Let me start by saying that we are a young couple in our mid twenties. It is common for couples our age to be taken advantage of at car dealerships and it is always recommended for us to go with our parents for support. We were not anticipating purchasing a vehicle knowing this fact, but we did want to get an idea for how much my boyfriend would need to save. Renee was amazing and is an unbelievable asset to this Chevy dealership. She was personable, kind, knowledgeable, and honest. I saw other sales representatives there trying to make hard sales and just seeming to have horrible attitudes, so we genuinely feel like we hit the lottery getting Renee. She worked with us and was able to get us an amazing deal on the exact car that my boyfriend had wanted - the Trax. She made sure that we left that dealership completely satisfied with the purchase and feeling so much less stressed! If I had gone to this Chevy dealership when I was in the market previously and had been helped by Renee, I more than likely would have left with a vehicle. The best part was when my boyfriend's parents came because they were all ready to negotiate with the sales person, and we were able to say that they didn't have to - that we were treated with respect and that Renee worked with all of our needs. His mother thanked Renee for "taking care of her son" before she left. It's just a great feeling to leave a dealership happy and without regret or concern. Thank you, Renee!!

It was fast, and problem free. Members of the service team were outside greeting customers and taking down service notes. I arrived at 8 am and explained I had a 2pm appointment and that I needed to be somewhere. The service team serviced my car in a fast and timely manner. Coffee and donuts were available to customers and everyone in the service center was kind, courteous and friendly. The fastest service I've ever seen.

After over a week of emailing dealers, Pine Belt was one of the only dealerships that would give me an out-the-door quote on a lease (meaning they'd include all taxes and fees so there were no surprises when I'd go to look at the paperwork). Personally, I just don't have time to physically visit dealerships, so this online service was huge.Not only did they give me an exact price, but after I forwarded them a cheaper quote I received from another deal, they agreed to match it even though Pine Belt's car had a slightly higher MSRP. Also, they didn't have the car in the color I wanted so they offered to locate one for me at no additional cost.As for the day of signing, they had all the paperwork prepared and the car detailed and ready to go. I was there for not even an hour; the longest part was talking to my insurance company.Through the entire process I dealt with three people from Pine Belt: Alyson Boyne (Internet Coordinator), Darryl Popper (Sales Manager), and Angel Vazquez (Sales Associate). Each of them were courteous and professional, always looking for ways to further accommodate me. If these employees are a reflection of Pine Belt as a whole, I would strongly recommend this dealer to any of my closest friends and family.

Eugene did everything he could so we could successfully close the deal on our new Trax. He realized we did not want a top of the line car and he worked with us to ensure we got the car we wanted and stay within our budget. It was great that he formally worked for Verizon Wireless and he showed us on how to load both my cell phone and my wife's cell phone contact lists in to the car's phone.He is the best salesperson we have ever dealt with at Pine Belt and at any other dealerships we have ever bought a car at. I recently came out of work one day only to find my rear passenger window had been shattered. I called the police and they told me it "just happened ". I searched to see if this could occur and found nothing to collaborate this. So I called several auto glass places and they also told me that this could not just happen. So I called pine belt and told them my situation. The head of the service department concurred but instead of trying to charge me to replace the window he told me that because I was a valued customer and that he had that window in stock that he would not charge me. I thought that was truly amazing and that they went above and beyond what I would have expected. Through the whole process they were so accommodating and considerate. I cannot tell you how grateful I am.

From the time I walked in till the time we left with our new car the experience was so pleasant. Every person we dealt with was kind and professional. Bringing children can be a pain being it can take some time doing paper work and all but they have a play area with a TV and kids had cookies and snacks. BUYERS BEWARE THIS DEALER IS A BATE & SWITCH DEALER AND VERY DECEPTIVE.....THEIVES.. Drove over an hour and half to the dealership to make a deal on a 2015 Chevy Sonic. Had an agreed upon price from the internet sales manager Alona including all rebates that I qualified for and the correct stock number to the car documented in a email from her. When I arrived at the car dealership, I was told by Darryl Popper that it was a mistake and the internet sales manager was "incorrect on quoting me a price and that I would never receive a car at that price." I showed him the documented emails from Alona and he said he did not care and would not honor our agreed price...I was left with checkbook in hand and had to drive an hour and half back home with no car. My advice is to NEVER SHOP OR BUY FROM HERE watch their business practices. They do not like to talk about the price of the car, rather than an monthly payment. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE. BUYER BEWARE! Do not waste your time with this dealership as they are THEIVES.& LIARS..I am fortunate that I saved all my paperwork and will forwarding my emails and documentation to the BBB, GM Executive Office and NJ Consumer Affairs Board. BUYERS BEWARE.....

Everyone was very, very helpful and friendly from the front desk receptionists to the Manager. I felt very at home with my salesman, Bob Penny. He was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and virtually bent over backwards for my husband and myself. We, my husband and myself, traded in a Chevy HHR and a Honda Odyssey. We bought a Equinox LT from you. Bob spent time to find the exact one with the features I was looking for and to explain them to us. I could not lift out the scooter my handicapped husband had in one the cars and when I traded it in, I asked if I could leave it in the Odyssey until my son had the time to come and get it. Bob actually drove the Odyssey to my house, lifted it out of the van with great difficulty, may I add, since it hadn't been used in quite some time, and manually pushed it over to my shed on the grass. Before that, when I made my initial visit to Pine Belt and brought in the HHR for a trade in, I discussed trading in the Honda with Bob, but was unsure. Bob allowed me to test drive the Equinox to my house, where he looked at the Honda. We hadn't started the Honda for awhile, since my husband was the primary driver of that car and had been in the hospital. Bob Penny attempted to jump start the Odyssey, but when it was determined that it needed a more powerful boost, he stayed with me until AAA got it started and I drove it to the dealership.Whenever I had a question, Bob was there to rectify it for me. There were scratches in one area of the car and it was noticed app. 3 days after I took ownership. Bob set up everything so I could have it repaired. Speaking of having it repaired: everyone I met across the street was just as nice as the people in the sales office. I was more than happy to get a ride home from the nicest gentleman while my car was being seen to. The person in Finance was friendly and explained everything in detail to me, as well. Today, I drove down to get my plates; it was late and Bob wasn't there. Eugene came over to offer his assistance and put on the new plates, paired my cell with the car (which Bob has already done twice for me)...and guided me with Onstar so that my questions would be answered with them.I never had a bad moment in this whole experience. In fact, a friend of mine is looking for a car, and I suggested she go to Pine Belt and ask for Bob Penny.Thanks to everyone for making this a very easy transaction. I feel confident we will be doing any future purchases/repairs with you.

I spent all of Memorial Day at the dealership looking at cars. ... Throughout the day I consistently kept changing my mind about vehicles and Bill was so patient and dedicated to getting me into a vehicle that I absolutely loved. I ended up buying that day. A few days later, for personal reasons I changed my mind yet again and contacted Bill about returning the vehicle I bought and getting something else. Not once did Bill or anyone else at the dealership make me feel like I was being difficult, Bill went above and beyond to help me return the original car I bought and get me into something that fit me just right without any difficulty. . I highly recommend this dealership and especially Bill Sherman as a salesman. .. The next vehicle I purchase will definitely be through this dealership and Bill Sherman!

We received a call while test driving a vehicle and we were told if the car wasn't what we wanted, we should come to their location because they can beat any deal or they give back $1000.00. At first this seemed like the typical sales tactic but once we arrived we were able to find a Chevy 2500 had with the specific items we needed plus some bonuses and still had a better price. And the trade in was respectable. The salesman Rich, was very knowledgeable and at every corner for rebates he was willing to look and assist us to get us in parents we could afford.

When I addressed their sales manager he took a lackadaisical attitude like it was not a big deal, he also tried to blame motor vehicle of which it was an out right lie. The sales manager also said I was one of those people who has a conspiracy theory attitude. I then gave them one more chance by calling the general manager He initially took my call and said he would look in to it, he left one phone message that the registration was now in the regular mail not even over nighted. Then he failed to return my next three calls. I would never by another car from them ever again. I hope this will save someone else the grief I had to deal with.

Pine Belt's service continued to be excellent. The visit was for routine maintenance plus brakes and tires. Bob Domolki checked me in and made some recommendations and then I went to the waiting area. Service was done quickly. Bob told me that the specific tires were not in stock. I went back in a few days and the job was finished. All of the work was done quickly and efficiently. I have always had a great experience with Pine Belt service and will continue to go there.

I always wanted a big Truck, but ever since Gas prices went up, well... So I was really just looking. Jayson Diurio approached me and without being pushy or in anyway dishonest he showed me around and discussed my financial options. I test drove the Silverado and really loved it, so it pretty much sold itself. However I'd like to say that Jayson changed that all too common opinion I held regarding " Car Salesmen"... I left there happily, in my nearly new Silverado believing I got a good deal, and I still do.

Our service consultant Andy was helpful and worked hard to assist us with warranty issue. The unsettling part was that we first authorized $1,500 for the mechanics to figure out what was wrong with the engjne, approximately 5 days later we authorized up to $3,500 because the mechanics still did not know what was wrong. We then received a call saying we needed a new engine and that would cost $9,600. Andy worked with GM to have a portion covered under the warranty. We are thankful for Andy's efforts and assistance. The whole experience left me wondering why I had to authorize charges for the dealership to figure out what was wrong. Understandably I don't know anything about car repairs but I would have expected the dealership to be better prepared.

I have recently purchased a 2015 Malibu LS from Ryan Concord. In 2012 I leased a Cruze also from Ryan and based on that most pleasurable experience did not hesitate to deal with him again as I consider him a true professional in every respect. I was in the somewhat unique situation of facing an upcoming job relocation to Houston, Texas and wanted to purchase a new Malibu but only if a solution could be found to an early termination on the Cruze lease. We spoke on the phone at which time I advised the maximum payment I would be comfortable with and he was confident a solution could be worked out. True to his word within 30 minutes of arriving at the dealership we shook hands on a deal. I would highly recommend Ryan to anyone.

Went to go "test drive" a Camaro, left there buying a "red" Camaro. :) Ahmed is great. Knows what he's talking about. Went back a few months later to buy my husband a truck. I went there with my father just to talk about getting a Chevy Colorado and I ended up driving out with a brand new Silverado.From the moment I walked in the door, the place just felt right. Everyone greeted us in a polite and professional manner. We were offered coffee and were set up with a sales person right away.Our salesman was Jayson. He was excellent. He was he one who showed us the Silverado that we ended up driving out with. He was kind and courteous. Not to mention he had no problem deferring some of the sales responsibly it's to a family friend that we didn't even know worked there at our request. That family friend was Ahmed Fayed.Ahmed was great. He really took care of us. He went out of his way to give us exactly what we wanted in terms of price. All in all, I did not expect to be driving a truck out of the dealer that day. I went there just to look and see what was up, but Jayson and Ahmed gave me such a good deal that I could not pass it up. A+++++ experience, dealership, and salesmanship. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in buying a truck.

Seriously if I had more thumbs I would definitely give them to PBC and Mr. Lewis. From the moment my 2 month old baby and I walked up to the front of the dealership we were met by Rich who didn't know he was about to sell me a great SUV! He carried my son's stroller up the stairs for me and got me settled while he went off to see who could help me. It ended up being him and I couldn't have been any happier. This is only the 2nd car I've ever purchased and the 1st was 10 years ago so I had no idea what to expect. I know what I didn't want. The ridiculous haggling, or to have the salesperson try and put me in a vehicle that was way beyond my set budget. Rich was knowledgeable, and he had no idea I did all my research on the vehicle (a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe) BEFORE I showed up so I know he wasn't blowing smoke. He was efficient - WHICH IS KEY when you have a 2 month old with you, and he has since followed up after my purchase and answered questions I had after getting home! I will ABSOULTELY encourage friends and family to pay PBC a visit. Specifically, I'll tell them to ask for Rich. HORRIBLE customer service is more common than we would like....so it's fantastic to have such a great experience. Sidebar: THEIR BATHROOMS ARE SPOTLESS!! A few months ago, my family and I went into Pine Belt to look at a used Suburban. Our sales person, Ahmed, introduced the idea that the with amount we were willing to put into a used vehicle, we could afford to lease a new Suburban, and at lease end, be able to buy OUR own suburban from the lease for for the amount we were initially intending to spend, or stay in the lease business, and keep driving a safe and dependable new car every 3 years. Ahmed told us he wanted to be "our guy". He was up-front and truthful with us and we plan on using Pine Belt and Ahmed for Chevrolet purchases in the future. We were very happy with our Pine Belt experience!

Made the app for an oil change online, showed up at my time they never got the app, my oil change took 1 hr and 1/2 because they didn't have my app. When I told them I booked it online they told me it doesn't work. Then why offer online booking if it does work. After I left from them performing an oil change and 17 point inpection I get pulled over for my brake light being out, after I just had them tell me that all my lamps where ok. Guess they only pretended to check all my lamps.

The salesman was not knowledgeable and lied about the towing capacity of the Chevy Silverado I recently purchased. Instead of fixing the issue the Sales manager was extremely rude and condescending. He agreed that the salesman was wrong but that it was my fault. They bullied me for days, dragging out the process, and instead of "making it right" like they promised, I ended up paying the difference PLUS double processing fees to get the truck with the proper towing capacity. I purchased from Pine Belt because True Car listed them as a "trusted certified dealer". When I filed a complaint with True Car the Pine Belt representative lied to them about the issue at hand, trying to save face and make me look bad. True Car said the lesson here is "Buyer Beware", that I could not take the information they gave me with 100% assurance it was correct. "Buyer beware"?!?!?! What's the point of giving a dealer a "trusted/certified" rating if they're not trustworthy!??! I'll never go back there and I've been telling everyone I know how they misrepresented the facts and when I called them out on it they were extremely rude and bullied me into closing the second sale.

Service did a great job with my 2011 malibu. Took it in for an oil change and to take care of a recall. They advised me I should have the brakes done soon, but were not pushy at all when I told the I have a friend who does my brakes for me. Waiting ares is comfortable with free coffee and snacks, magazines, plenty of places to sit. Overall a great experience.

This was my first time working with Pine Belt Chevy in Lakewood, and I can honestly say that it was by far the best car buying experience of my life! I had a "unique" situation and what I like to call the perfect storm of obstacles in getting me behind the wheel of a new vehicle. I had credit issues to start, I was upside down in my current lease ( the payout was $17,000 and the car was worth $10,000) which left me $6,000 in the negative, and on top of that I was 10,000 miles over on my current lease, which meant I owed an additional $3,000. My current lease was with Lester Glenn in Toms River, and I had actually went to them first hoping they would help me out. I was disappointed to find out that I was turned down for financing and told there was nothing they could do to help me. As you can imagine I was pretty disappointed with Lester Glenn, and honestly worried about what I was going to do about getting a new vehicle. Thankfully I decided to go to Pine Belt Chevy in Lakewood! I met with Ahmed my salesman who not only was extremely helpful and vigilant, but also very understanding about my current situation. Sometimes you go into these dealerships and worry about how you're going to be treated, especially with someone in my situation. Ahmed was on my side the whole time and determined to get me out of my current mess of a situation, and into something new with a fresh start. So Ahmed explored every option possible with me and together with his finance manager Jared, they somehow, someway got me financed and into a NEW 2015 Equinox!! I can honestly say that if it wasn't for Ahmed's diligence in exploring my various options and Jareds hard work putting together a finance package and utilizing his personal relationships with various lenders, I would be walking to work everyday not knowing what to do. I know they didn't make much off of my deal, but that didn't matter to them. What mattered most to them was that they found a solution for me. They truly do put the customer first, which is hard to find in that business. When I went into Pine Belt Chevy on 2/20/15 to purchase a specific car I saw online, of course I was told that someone already has a hold on it from earlier that day, typical. Then when I told the salesman about another car they showed they had on the lot, he went to the back and came back with the same car but a more expensive one, of course not the one I asked for. After about 35-40 mins of waiting for him to bring the car around I asked about, we were on our way for the test drive. When we got back from our test drive I had him run the numbers for me so we could get the ball rolling with buying the car. While waiting for Bruce to come back, we overheard 2 other salesman talking about how they were having a hard time getting some of the cars started and were having to use a "jump pack" on some of the cars, which would explain why it took so long to bring the car around for me to drive. When signing the beginning paperwork at one of the front tables with Bruce, he handed me the key to hang on to (yes 1 key because he said that Pine Belt Cadillac had the other one and that he would get it for me the next day), needless to say over a month later I still DO NOT have my spare key. Bruce had called me about 2 weeks ago telling me that he tracked down my key with the previous owner (which is a different story from it being at Cadillac but whatever). No matter how many times I have called the dealer and ask for Bruce or a member of Management over the past month, no one seems to answer their phones and there is no way to leave a voicemail with Bruce.. Oh and the girls at the front desk are extremely rude as well.I still haven't told you the best part of my Pine Belt experience.... Driving home on the parkway that night I noticed, what sounded like the front tires making a noise something like large truck tires, but by then the dealer was closed so I figured I would call them in the morning since I made it home safely. The next morning when I woke up to drive my new car to work, it was dead in my driveway, just another great Pine Belt experience right? I'm just going to assume it was the DEAD battery that no one warned me about the night before (but makes sense after hearing the other salesman the night before). I would have appreciated someone letting us know the night before that the battery would probably be dead in the morning, fortunately I had another car to get to work. When my boyfriend called the service department in the morning about the car being dead, they sent a tow truck to pick it up around 11am. When the car got to the service center at Pine Belt no one called or let us know what was going on and when we called around 2 the service department had no idea what we were talking about and that no one would be able to look at the car until Monday the earliest! Are you kidding me? You take my car from me on a Saturday and tell me they might look at it on Monday? Ok, no. We went and picked up my car because they told me that my car started when it got their? Makes no sense. Needless to say, after trying to get ahold of Bruce for 2 weeks about getting the front end of the car checked for whatever the problem with the tires is, they did nothing and the front is STILL making the same noise because the service department said "that's what Volkswagen must sound like".. OK! Oh and I still haven't heard anything about my key, if I didn't say that already.. Regardless of if my car is a Chevy or a Volkswagen, a car dealer is a car dealer, you bought the car to sell to your customer, which unfortunately was me.. you should have a clue about what your selling and when your customers want your service you should be there for them, not avoid them completely. I will NEVER buy a car from Pine Belt Chevy ever again and believe me everyone I come in contact with will know how horrible the experience I had was.I have never bought a car from Pine Belt before this and a first impression is a lasting impression.. It will never happen again.

I have a 2010 Aveo with 53,000 miles. The parts the were replaced are known to fail early, coil pack, and plugs. This is the second time I got burned on two different Chevy products, Although I consider myself a loyal Chevy man and am now in need of a new car I doubt I can buy a Chevy this time around. I cannot afford to do expensive repairs that should have been recalls. This being said the service was excellent.

Last summer my 2006 Chevy Equinox was rear ended and at first they thought it was able to be repaired. However when they took the rear bumper off they said it was totaled. I had less than a week to get a new car. So I immediatedly called Ryan Concord at Pine Belt Cevy in Lakewood, NJ. And explained my situation and set up an appt to see him on Saturday morning 2 days away. When I got there Ryan had some cars picked out, but he knew I wanted a Subaru. He had a loaner car 2014 with 3600 miles on it to show me. And I had my new Subaru Legacy a few hours later!! Thanks Ryan! A similiar situation happened to my dear friend this past week. Her 1998 car died. I told her I would call Ryan and see him on Sat. So we were there at 9 am and Ryan was waiting with a 2012 Mazda 3 with 37000 miles on it for Carol!! Two hours later she was driving it home!! Ryan you are the best!!

Michael Fein was the perfect sales person for me. I haven"t purchased a car since 1997 which is 18 years. I was very nervous so I asked Michael to drive the Chevy for the test drive. I drank plenty of good coffee over at Pine Belt and was able to go over all the numbers with Michael. Factory rebates are taxable.here in NJ. Once I got the formula for computing the tax, my numbers agreed with Michel"s. I decided to get 4 years of Registration and save plenty of time at motor vehicles. The origional trade in amount was too low for me so David Kidd, my fellow Navy Veteran, came over and sweetened the pie to my satisfaction. It was very difficult for me to let go of my 18 year old car. I read overand signed all of the paperwork with Brian. Paid my bill at the cashier counter. Got the car insurance with Michael"s help. Got the Plates removed from my old car and Bluetooth connected by Michael and drove off in my new Chevy Cruze.Thank you all at Pine Belt for a job very well done. I am completely satisfied. Jim M.

I badly needed to know what warranties my son had taken out on his Chevy Aveo which he bought from Pine Belt in Sept of 2010. My son was "stuck" in Indiana on a road trip for Spring Break when the Aveo's head gasket blew. I spoke with THE most helpful person possible - Mr Steve Stazko, the Service Manager. He listened carefully, he found the warranties and explained in detail what my son had to do next. He was truly the most helpful person during what was becoming an increasingly nerve wracking day. My experience at Pine Belt has given me a whole new outlook on car dealers. From the moment we walked in the door the service was outstanding. We were never pressured at any time. No vultures hovering or salesman trying to have you purchase a car on the spot. Both Frank and Darryl went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with our decision. It actually took us two days and two cars before we could decide. They were right there with us the second day. Even when an employee walks by they always say hello. Brian in finance and Bill Sherman were great. Bill wasn't our salesman, but he took the time to go over the car features and help me sync my phone since it was late and I had to leave the night before and Frank was with another customer. This was an easy experience. No pushiness, no bullat#$%. Buying a used car can sometimes be a nightmare, which we got at other places earlier that day. We traveled all around central Jersey only to come up empty handed and a little scared of what we saw. When we came here Frank came out to the floor and got us. I was a first time car buyer and full of all kinds of nervous anxiety. Frank Trombatura made the nervous jitters take a hike the second he told me I had to try the Dove hot chocolate. I walked in thinking the salesmen would be scary intimidating and just out to get a paycheck. It was not like that at all. Everything was reviewed over and over until he was sure I understood and was confident that purchasing my dream car was in fact possible. Frank dod everything under the sun to be sure i was happy with what I was walking away with and I can honestly say I have never been happier with a purchase! Frank was absolutely outstanding, he never gave uo on me or on me trying the dove hot chocolate. I eventually caved and tried it, that stuff is freaking amazing. So, Here I am. Car Totaled. Fractured Neck and wearing a neck brace. I am NOT in the mood to buy a car, but I have to start looking. Along comes BILL SHERMAN with a big smile and a cheery hello. I told Bill Sherman I really was in pain and didnt want to spend a lot of time today and it was my first stop and I am just looking and was not in the mood to haggle. He brings the sales manager DARRYL POPPER to meet me. Darryl was sympathetic and calming. He asks about my driving habits. I dont drive much but I need a car that can hold a walker and my wifes wheel chair. Bill Sherman and Darryl Popper pulled 3 cars to the back of the store for me to see. I didnt even have to try to get to the car lot. The 2010 Impala was a one owner and looked and smelled new. I said that I would think about it. My daughter asked if we could take it home to show to my wife. WHAT BRASS?????? They didnt blink and put a plate on the car. My daughter drove it home. She loves it. My wife loves it. I cant believe the new car smell. Also, its loaded. We go back. I am really tired now.. The price was too good to believe. I said that I would have to come back because I am hurting and had to rest. Bill Sherman takes my driver license and insurance card. He gets a few more bits of information. He says go home and rest??? I dont have to sit in the waiting room for an hour or more???. At 3 in the PM I get a call. Your car is ready. We go back and there is Bill Sherman, still smiling. I am greeted by RAY ROBINSON, the Manager. The car is ready and all shined up. I went inside and signed some papers in less than 20 minutes with Darryl Popper and BRIAN BROWN the Finance Manager. I am 73 years old and I never bought a car that easy. THANKS BILL SHERMAN AND DARRYL POPPER and RAY ROBINSON and BRIAN BROWN. I AM IMPRESSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The cookies were good too.

I brought my motorcycle in to see if they would take it as a trade in towards a car. I wasn't sure if I wanted new or used but I did want an SUV. My salesman was Bill Sherman and after speaking with him he assured me that I would be better off going with a new car with the incentives GM has. The entire transaction was fast and simple from beginning to end. Sixteen months ago I leased a Chevy Cruze, through Ryan Concord. It was the best car experience I'd ever had, and I thought Ryan was great. Unfortunately, that Cruze got flooded two weeks ago and was declared totaled. I e-mailed Ryan the day the repair shop told me it was totaled, and he called me that evening. Since it was a lease I had no idea what would would happen with the insurance, and I had been passed off to three different people by my (otherwise very good ) insurance company, none of whom could help me. Ryan explained exactly what would happen with the insurance. Two days later when the car was confirmed totaled, I made an appointment to go see Ryan again. He knew my main criteria for a car is "pretty/fun", and throughout the day, he texted me a picture of a "pretty" red Cruze, got the paperwork done, and had everything totally ready when I walked in the door. I was in and out in less than an hour for the second time in 16 months ! I had been worried about having no car to trade in, and no down payment... Ryan made ALL of that work. I have had 2 completely perfect experiences at Pine Belt, because of the excellence Ryan displays in all aspects of the car buying / leasing process. Best car salesman EVER !!!!

Darryl Popper came out to discuss pricing and was condescending, arrogant, rude, and combative. He is everything I remember disliking about buying a car. When he angrily began asking why I was there I became so upset I nearly left. I will never buy another car from Pine Belt Chevrolet and based on how angry just typing this makes me feel I likely will never again. He single-handedly took a good experience and soured it. I found his attempt to intimidate me offensive and insulting, his raised voice and pressing his face towards mine is an abhorrent practice if you want any business or repeat business. I don't ever expect to be treated like this by anyone, let alone someone who is trying to convince me to buy a car. Why would he raise his voice and begin to argue with me in the middle of the showroom? I guess this type of behavior is acceptable in the car industry since he appeared to be in charge.

My salesman, Angel, was very accommodating and courteous. He answered all questions and fulfilled all promises. I drove away in a 2014 Malibu LS for less than the original price that was quoted to me. Rob Sambataro also made sure that everything went smoothly. I'm happy to say that I am extremely satisfied with the way they handled everything and couldn't have chosen a better dealership to handle my business. I drove 6 hours round trip from New York to look at a car. The experience was worth every minute I spent in traffic to get there. Bill Sherman and his manager were great. They saved me a 5-6 hours round trip to pick up the car by transporting the car to me at my home. The customer service was impressive. There was always constant communication with Bill Sherman. Most people refer to buying a car as painful as sitting in a dentist chair having your teeth drilled. I have to say the experience I encountered from start to finish at Pinebelt was exceptional. I was first greeted with a video txt telling me that my vechicle was ready and waiting for my test drive. I though that this was a pleasant surprise and made me feel happy that they were looking forward to meeting me and my husband. Once I arrived I noticed that each and every salesman was a dressed in crisp while shirts and ties. They had smiles on there faces and appeared to really enjoy there workplace. Everyone that entered the showroom was offered a bottle of cold water and fresh baked cookies that made the showroom smell amazing. My decision was between two different trucks. In order to help me decide they parked them side by side so that I could sit, look, and see both of them. Unfortunately my credit is not the best, so I was concerned about the outcome of me leaving with the truck I wanted, but the Sales Mgr. David Kidd, said keep smiling and let me do my job Angel Vazquez (My Salesman) will take care of this and I promise we will make it work, and they kept there word. I left with the truck I wanted and I couldn't be happier. They all made the experience painless. I was happy with everything from start to finish. My husband and I even said if you make this happen I will buy you a cheesesteak and he said deal. So when we left the dealership with my 2014 White Suburban I made my first stop at the pizzeria to buy that cheesesteak. Angel was surprised that we held to our word. This place is awesome! I went here originally to look at a different car, but Darryl showed me a 2004 Ford Escape that was 2K cheaper and in MUCH better condition. It didn't need any repairs, unlike the other car. They told me that they wanted me to get the best deal possible, and I did. I ended up paying about $4,000 less than I had anticipated! The car is in great shape, and everybody there is so friendly! You could tell that they definitely want what's best for you. Darryl and Hoss took good care of me. I had been researching prices and safety of various cars while looking for a first vehicle for my daughter. I went to Pine Belt after seeing the car I was interested in on their website. I'd been to other dealerships prior and had poor experiences and had been treated like a "dumb woman" and was ready to have the same...BUT, at Pine Belt, I was shown the exact car I wanted to see..no one pressured me into looking at more expensive cars nor one they felt I "could afford". I was able to spend the amount I had predetermined. The sales associate, Frank Trombatura, made my daughter and I feel welcome and comfortable throughout the whole process....it was like hanging out with family. Where else do you get hot chocolate and cookies served to you while also getting a fantastic deal(car was offered to me at a price way below book value). I am a college student who was looking for a used car in the $8-10k price range after my Toyota Camry was totaled. My heart was set on a 5-speed manual Subaru Impreza, but the car had minor body damage. Pine Belt Chevy promised to sell me the car at it's advertised price, and told me that I could bring the car back in a couple of days for free repairs. After deciding not to follow through with the Subaru, I suggested a Mazda to the men who were working with me. The Chevrolet location did not have any on the lot, but Darryl made a few calls and had another location drive it over. I am now the proud owner of a 2012 6-Speed Mazda 3 Skyactiv iTouring sedan, and I could not be any happier with the car. 10 years ago I purchased a vehicle here and an awful experience. Not the case today, my salesman Angel V. was really nice and very imformative. While I have horrible credit him and his team did everything possible to get me in to a brand new car. Not only a brand new car but the car that I came in with the intent to get!! Even though it's not loaded lol it's still mine!!

Excellent dealership. The service is top notch. Everyone is very friendly and energetic. Everyone is very willing to help you with their services. I just leased a Chevy and I am very happy with my decision. Pinebelt Chevrolet is such a trusted organization that it is practically a bank. They have that kind of pull. But that's what your getting, quality. Quality vehicles, quality services. I very happy with my choice.

I couldnt be more pleased with the service we recieved at pine belt chevy lakewood nj both me and my husband purchased used vehicles which were in great condition. We were treated with respect at the highest level and both Mr. Trambutora and Mr. Wickner were great to deal with they treated us as if we were family members. I would recommend this dealership to anyone.

I was interested in buying either a Mustang or a Camaro, and after visiting both a Ford dealer and Pine Belt Cheverolet, I made the decision to go with the Camaro from Pine Belt. The customer service from my salesman Bill Sherman and overall the price of the vehicle was amazing, and far better than the customer service and pricing from Ford. I had a very smooth, quick and easy experience buying my new car and I am extremely satisfied with the decision I made. I came in with no intention of buying a new car just wanted to look at my options. After explaining to Dan Ariel and sales rep, Angel, they assured me they would do their best to find me the perfect deal! They worked with my prior vehicle and the numbers in my range, and where able to put me in a BRAND NEW 2014 EQUINOX! I went from thinking I was stuck with my previous vehicle and tons of high payments and landed up driving away with a beautiful vehicle with lower monthly payments. I would recommend Pine Belt Chevrolet to all, in fact I may be coming back sooner than I thought for my daughter! Thank you again, Dan and Angel!

Had a great experience at Pinebelt Chevy. My sales rep, Angle, was wonderful. He listened to what I wanted and put me in the exact vehicle I was looking for for a great price! The staff were friendly and helpful and the dealership had a great play area for my 2 year old to play in while I took care of the finer details.

I have work with pine belt chevy twice now. Both times was very good. But this last time Bill Sherman went way past the point of being great. He help me get out of a deal with bad credit and in to a new car that I love so much. He really work hard. I would tell my friends and family to go to him! Even if you have bad credit and can't get a new car there is a guy named Jeff who is there and will also be just as good as bill at getting you in to a car! Thank you pine belt for having great employees!! Bill Sherman is the man to see tho!

Came in to the dealer and was immediately greeted and asked questions. The salesperson did everything possible to ask all the possible and needed questions to ensure that he would find me the perfect match. From used cars to new cars, financing to leasing, he was patient and willing to work as hard as posssible to get me where I needed to be financially and fairly. Within no time, I knew exactly what I wanted and he knew where to find it. Great price, friendly and hopsitable. I left a happy girl......I recommend this car dealer 100%.....

I bought a car long-distance, paid to have the car shipped to me, but so far it has been 41 days and I still don't have the title or plates. There is virtually no communication: twice when I've called for status, I was told they needed something else from me (proof of insurance, Social Security Number). Nobody ever called to tell me that, they just let it sit. Calls go unreturned, and when I asked for the General Manager they routed me elsewhere. It is a combination of incompetence coupled with absent communication.

If there is a better car salesperson I want to meet that person. In my life, I have never met a more honest, sincere, thoughtful person much less a salesperson. If Chevy has any sense, they will never allow Noel Angel to get away from them. You have a diamond in the rough. He needs to be praised and taken care of so that he feels the genuine love that his gives to his customers. For the record, I asked if there was any way that I could praise his efforts to his superiors. To this business man, it shows that Pine Belt values the customer by the caliber of employee they own. Kudos.

I highly recommend going to Pinebelt in Lakewood! This is the 5th car in 20 years we have bought at this dealer. They are very helpful and our salesperson Frank Trombatura is the nicest. I called today and he had me come in look at a couple of cars and bought a 2012 Chevy Malibu at night. We have been a Chevy family for years and couldn't be happier with all that Frank and his crew did for us! Thank you so much! I will definitely be back in the future!!!!!

Angel was very helpful and explained all the features of the car to my daughter prior to the test drive and made her feel comfortable she was unsure if she liked the vehicle and when she came back from the test drive she loved it.. he was great....
