As a first time car buyer, I must admit the customer service was amazing, Both representatives Niel and Luis were very attentive and made sure all of my questions were answered. Not having much knowledge about cars, they offered their best recommendations and made it possible for me to purchase my first car. They were very informative, patient and made it as comfortable as possible for me to take my time to look through the variety of cars. They were extremely helpful! Manny the sales representative in the used car department was flawless with my purchase. I bought a 09 corolla a couple weeks ago and he really helped me get out of my previous situation with my car. I was a little nervous about buying a used car. I have always purchased new vehicles and just wanted to see what my options were. Aladdin showed me a couple of Honda Civics and Accords he went over the Certified Vehicle warranty and what the differences were between a non certified vehicle. The price point and the certified warranty drove the point home for me and because of this I'm a proud owner of a 2014 Honda Accord.

I called yesterday to inquire about my account and a vehicle that I have financed with Honda. A gentleman named "Rumney Corvalan" in the FINANCE department assisted me with my brief questions about my vehicle. Unfortunately, he was extremely sarcastic, rude and unprofessional. He offered me an "illegal" way of dealing with my situation, which I was in awe with! As an employee with Honda, everything should be LEGAL! Please be on the look out for representatives that don't know how to do their jobs correctly and can't offer information/guidelines in a professional manner. PLEASE UPGRADE PLANET HONDA!

They had only three in stock, but it had only been one day since the announcement was made that they were for sale in the United States. Richard Osuji who was my salesperson was very knowledgeable in the features of the new Hatchback and the differences between the LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, and Sport Turbo models. So I was looking into trading my Acura MDX in for a 2008/2009 Honda Accord coupe. I spoke to a woman Monica who kept calling me to try to get me to come in. I told her that I didn't want to waste time and told her my situation she said we can do that. She had me come in. When I got there Monica gave me over to a salesman named Aladdin. So we took a drive in my car. He took down my payoff Amount and gave it to the finance guy. The finance guy told me that they wouldn't of the car off and that I would owe $8000-9000 and they could only bury the amount of the car I wanted to buy was more expensive. I was heated at this point because I felt like I had completely wasted my time. So I asked to speak to Monica's manager. A woman named Delia came out. I proceeded to tell her how upset I was with Planet Honda NJ for wasting my time. She was trying to make it seem as if it were my fault. Anyways we all know that customers are "always right" this woman was very rude she got up walked away from me and in my opinion was very unprofessional. I might have been a little loud but she is a manager of a car dealer that I was going to to do business. I do not recommend anyone to go there. They do not know how to treat their customers and you will totally be wasting your time.

Never before have I been as appalled at a business as I am by Planet Honda in Union, NJ. My employee had gone to return her car and came back crying because of the way she was treated by ROBERT "BOBBY" WINDICH. In order to have the situation addressed and notify management, I called Planet Honda to speak to the president BILL FEINSTEIN. Within minutes it became clear that the disrespect is pervasive and comes from the top. While being screamed at by this man, he proceeded to call my employee a liar, would not allow me to get a word in edgewise and continued on a rant, screaming for a good twenty minutes. I will clearly never enter this establishment and would recommend that others run far away. I hope this is not representative of the larger Honda organization but encourage all potential customers to visit Planet Honda's YELP reviews before going. It is clear from the mass number of negative ratings and customer comments that this is an example of a much larger, ongoing problem and you are truly entering at your own risk.

DO NOT GO HERE! Biggest rip off ever and they try to scam you. My CRV was making a loud noise and they tried to tell me it was the water pump causing the noise and it needed to be replaced for $800 (along with a bunch of other things for a $1450 bill in total). I ended up taking it to Tony's Auto Repair in Scotch Plains where I was told there was absolutely nothing wrong with the water pump....something else was causing the noise and my bill only came out to $320.

I had a worst experience with Planet Honda. I live in South jersey and its around 90 min drive to this showroom. I had a call Tanisha who is a client advisor in the day and I had told her about my expectation since I had already visited local Honda dealers. I was told to visit in person to work it out on the numbers for Civic EXT. After hectic day at office me with my family and friends drove 1.5 hours to reach the showroom. Tansiha met us and introduced to someone (I dont remember the name) and the person was not aware of what car we are looking for. But when I had spoken in the morning, she had told that team will be aware of all details regarding my requirement and it will save minimum hour time to complete the deal.He asked the same questions again which I had already updated in the website Presented some number and we saw some extra charges getting added which was already covered in total MSRP. when I quoted other dealer price, he was very rude, he said my current quote with the other dealer is good and asked me to go there and closed the conversation (online they had given better, that was reason we drove all the way). All these happened in just 3 to 4 min and he was not ready to continue the conversation. We spent 3 hours in driving and paid tolls to talk to this guy for 3 min. He was behaving like they are giving car for free. Next day when I called back and explained the experience I was told that they will call me back and I did not hear anything after that. I have visited multiple dealers and this is the worst of all, definitely I will not recommend this dealer.

I went to Planet Honda 1st & then went to 8 dealerships after, only to return to Planet Honda & made my purchase of a certified pre-owned 2014 Honda Pilot. Ash handled me with respect, displayed patience & complete honesty. He honored the True Car Pricing with no problem & he made my experience the best experience EVER in purchasing a vehicle. I have purchased 5 vehicles in my lifetime & this was BY FAR the best experience in my entire life. I am very hard to impress & he surpassed the others sales persons in skill & professionalism. When I arrived June 30, 2016, I didn't know what to expect. I left PA and drove the 2 hours to the Union, NJ and was overwhelmed by the inventory. I ALWAYS buy used and certified, so I was excited and happy to see that what I had researched was available and at a great price. Ash was a very easy salesman, was not pushy, and worked with me to find the right information, if he was unsure. I did not feel pressured, but knew I was leaving with a car. I was happy to find out my credit was acceptable and payments were lower than I anticipated. I returned two days later to pick up my 2013 Honda Pilot and expected an easy transition. Admittedly, it took longer than I wanted as my car wasn't clean, but I had the opportunity to complete my paperwork in the meantime, while I waited for the detail. I was hoping to return to PA earlier, but either way came home with my shiny new SUV. Thanks Ash! And I would return again for another purchase in the future. They had great prices...and easy transaction.

Went in for my first service. Made an appt in advance for what amounted to an oil change with tire rotation. A 15-20 minute service. Was told when I first arrived it would be 1hr 45min wait. It was later in the afternoon so most of the early services should have been done. I have never had to wait more than 1/2 hr at any place I've gone to for an oil change. When I asked why the wait was told the service would take an hour!!! It may be a "free" service as part of my purchasing the car there, but would rather pay and save my time. I will not be going back for any other services.

I returned to Planet Honda for 2 simple reasons. First, I was interested in looking at the 2016 Pilot and second I was extremely impressed by the high level of customer service that I received 2 years ago when I purchased my first Honda vehicle (my CRV) from Kaleem Wyne. It was exactly as I expected. The level of service and attention that I received was once again spectacular. Kaleem is a truly seasoned professional. He worked tirelessly to help us find the right deal, one that worked just right for us. His attention to detail was spectacular. He demeanor, tone and work ethic was spot on. Unethical; unprofessional; inconsiderate of your time; rude; scheme; shady; one lie after another. I'm an architect with 780 credit score who runs 2 businesses each with there own small fleet of vehicles. When I needed to replace one I tried the TruCar website.What Planet Honda does is it buys (or is given) my contact information from trucar and sends me a quote for a vehicle in writing (via email but NOT via a certificate through the website) that they don't intend to actually meet. It's likely far below invoice but they will tell you anything just to get you in the door.I called to ask about hidden fees and was of course lied to. Yasmeen yelled at me and tried to give lecture me on some made-up law that says that I'm not allowed to send in my financial application via email so that they could prepare a contract and quote me a percentage rate for my corporate purchase. Obviously not true since this is done every day when you apply for a credit card by mail or by phone. She also pointed me towards their own online trade-in appraisal calculator that told me that they would give me $2,500-4,300 for my trade in. This is right from their website.Anyway, I cam in and all was a sham. They offered me $300 for my trade. They never intended to honor the emailed price since after that they want to add all these dealer options that you can't refuse such as window etching and nitro air for your tires (another $1,000). All a sham.

I lease every 3 years for the past 8 years and this time I didn't want to wait that long so I called Planet Honda and they scheduled me with Francis Duah, a senior salesperson. He was pleasant to work with. He has a great sense of humor, very attentive, knowledgeable. Along with him, Diana, his protege whom also was nice and knowledgeable and Chigbo whom I leased my very first car with and he has gotten promoted to sales manager since then due to his great work ethic. If you ever need to lease or finance a car, speak to no one else but these 3 people.

they are scammers ! they will explain other things than whats in the contract and then when you complain latter , they will say first proof that we said that then if you proofed it, they will say you have signed the contract. they lie straight in your face !! they can hang up on you ! give you an attitude or even leave you alone at the desk ! once you have signed the contract , they wont even smile at you !! find someone else !

It is not a fluke that in recent months Planet Honda is abashed across internet with one star. I was skeptical but, I gave them the benefit of doubt (It's Honda after all, how bad can they get!). Their bait of low pricing (which was just another lie!), was lucrative enough for me to walk into their showroom. Dealing with Planet Honda was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. I would like to call out that I am not a person who gets easily bogged down. I have dealt with tons of unpleasant situations in my life, but this was nothing close. I was threatened, bullied and even made to feel as a hostage in their showroom!! If that was not enough, they insulted my friend and my wife. Long story short - I was FORCED to lease a Honda CRV from them in May16. They refused to pay back my initial deposit of $3000 leaving me with no choice other than sucking it up and finalize the deal. Every car transaction is different and hence no point trying to parse out the individual details of what happened to me however to ensure that customers like you do not go through such an ordeal, let me pen down the key points of my experience:1.Advertise a package that they never plan to givea.What you see in the advertisement is nowhere where they even start. In fact the sales person does not even try to check whether you are eligible. My saleperson Immany on the face mentioned that no one gets these deal. So lets start with something practical. You tell yourself I travelled 20 miles for this xxxx.b.So bad is their reputation that not long back NJ Attorney Journal filed a suit against Planet Honda for multiple violations of the states Consumer Fraud Act. 2.Force you to accept their conditionsa.Key learning for me, never ever take the vehicle out of their premise, before you have the financial paper documents signed. I did the biggest blunder of doing that. And when I returned with my documents they said that Honda has changed your clause and hence we would have to increase your monthly lease by 16%. b.Dont take my words, google and you will find the undoctored reviews3.Extremely rude behavior to the extent of threatening a.I can understand that things/ deals may change sometimes however there is a way of communicating it and trying to work around it. When I tried to see how we can work around the new developments so none of us lose money because of this change, they simply passed their oversight on me and said that I have to go ahead with the 16% increase. They can't help me in anyways. b.When I ask them time to decide, they mention that We cannot let you leave this premise with our car. If you want to go, we can drop you at the next bus stopc.They made my wife and 4 yr old son come down to the showroom (we have only one car in the family so they had to take a hitch). Planet Honda asked for her documents at 7.30pm, she was in showroom at 8.15pm. Once she got in, they refused to process the papers saying that the Finance dept is now closed (didnt they know that at 7.30!?!?). My wife demanded why they asked her to come if the finance dept shuts off, they looked down upon her and smiled sarcastically. Not even a word of apology. It was extremely agonizing. d. When my friend, tried to make some middle ground between us, they shouted at him Who are you. I will throw you out of this dealership right now!! We were shocked at their language at audacity to bully their customers. 4.Lie on the facea.I am pretty detailed in my car purchases and have spoken to atleast 10 Car dealers in the past. I know that Car salesman are tough nuts to crack however most of them are not dishonest and bad people. The problem with Planet Honda is that some of their team members are extremely dishonest cheaters. Beware if you ever get to meet a sales manager named Sal. I would say he was 90% of my problem. b.One of the examples - Sal gives me an option of exiting the lease and tells me that I have to decide before the end of the day. I spend the whole day seeing how will I arrange for my travel if I have to handover my car that night and when I come back in in the evening loaning my friends car for a few days, he tells me that I no longer can exit the lease and would have to forfeit my complete advance ($ 3000). What a waste and that too he tries to play around with words pretending that he is a smart xxx.5.Unprofessional service 0% customer orientationa.Would ask you to come down multiple times. Once to drop your paper, once to drop your wifes paper, once to confirm your documentation etc.b.They even forcefully kept one key of my car till the time I did not sign the final financial papers6.Personal derogatory comments: This is finally what got me off. Being an immigrant is tough particularly when you have to go through so many documentation and processes. And then you have people like Sal who says it on your face I did not tell you to come to US. I was shocked and was furious but had to control myself. But if you have a temporary immigrant status like me do not ever go to Planet Honda. They know that you are tight handed and would not leave any stone in exploiting you.If you are reading this, please stay away from Planet Honda. Please heed to others' experiences and dont give them the benefit of doubt, like I did. They are not worth your time or money!

HAPPY! Ryan Mckenzie is a fabulous sales professional. My husband and I looked at CR-V-EX-Ls at a number of NJ dealers. I went in on my own to test drive and get a quote. Ryan was super friendly and gave me the best quote for the car I wanted (and Planet Honda had the color I wanted in stock). He made sure I was happy every step of the way. I told Ryan I would come by with my husband the next day, (on a super busy holiday weekend), so he said to call him so he would be ready when we arrived to see the car. He had the car ready to go (with the AC on as it was 90F) for our 2nd test drive. He didn't try to sell us any extra items or push us into anything we didn't want. Today, the 31st of May, I decided to get my first car especially since I am going back to school in the Fall. Kaleem, the representative who helped me, was absolutely amazing. Not only was he patient, understanding and answered every question that I had but broke things down to me in the simplest of ways not leaving out any option that could be applicable to me. We went outside and took our time choosing between the two models that would be best suited for me. I ended up leaving with a brand new Honda Civic LXP with features I didn't even dream of having! My 1999 Mercury Tracer gave out on me and I was in desperate need of a car. Wound up at Planet Honda after reading positive reviews on the internet and there I met Ash and trainee Carl. I couldn't have asked for more. What started out as very overwhelming and surreal experience turned out to be one of the best experiences. Very comfortable atmosphere, very friendly and helpful almost as welcoming as family. I went from my 1999 Mercury to a 2012 Honda Civic that I absolutely love and all thanks to Ash. Thank you Planet Honda for fulfilling my desperate need. P.S. Carl seems to be a very up and coming salesman. Much luck to him!! So here it is 3 months later and while I do like the car I see now I overpaid by a lot and the fact that they will sell you a car and not even replace the nasty floor mats that I was promised and then just blown off by not only my salesman Ash but by others namely Sue Lerch who wont even return a phone call and Esther whatever her name is. All they want is the sale. Thats it!! So when they say they strive for excellence thats a joke. So no I DO NOT recommend this place. Sad :(

We were pleasantly surprised at how helpful and expeditious the experience turned out to be in buying a new Honda Accord XLE with Navigation Screen. Although we knew pretty much what we wanted to buy and went prepared with information from Consumer Reports and Kelly Blue Book, we were open to considering other brands, wanted specific information on the new safety features available on cars, and of course, wanted a good price. We started our search at a dealership for a different brand of car, so that we could compare style and price, but we soon left there because the salesperson was neither knowledgeable, nor especially interested in answering our questions. The experience at Planet Honda was the complete opposite. Our sales person, Carlos Crispin, was friendly, knowledgeable, patiently answered our questions, and showed us a car that turned out to be exactly what we wanted on the first try and at a good price. This is the third time we purchased a car from Planet Honda, but this was the easiest of the three experiences. We went out today to begin the car search process, expecting that we would need to make several different trips and visit lots of different dealers, but it turns out we got what we wanted, at the price that we expected, in one visit and were able to drive away with our car after only a few hours.

I've gone to Planet Honda for a few service calls now. Even with the first appointment of the day, an oil change takes about 1.5 hours (7am - 8:30am). On my visit (5/26/16), the service rep told me "the mechanic says you need to replace your air filters". I had just replaced both the cabin and air filters myself in the last few months! When I told that to the service rep, he sheepishly said "Oh, you replaced them yourself......" Also I had just installed brand new custom floor mats, and there was a shoe shaped oil stain on the driver mat. Not a stellar visit for Planet Honda! At least I had a coupon for tire rotation.I'll probably continue to go to Planet Honda because it's convenient, but at least I know to take their recommended service with a grain of salt. Caveat Emptor.

I purchased my fourth Honda from here with Francis Duah. He is the best sales representative in the building. He is efficient and caring. He remembered me since I graduated from undergrad and he is very caring and determined to please me and make sure I walk out happy. Francis along with Chigbo Mbaekwe sales manager tries to make sure I leave with a car. Chigbo remembered me from my last leased car and made sure I left happy. Also Maggie Russ called me to convince me to stay with Honda for my fourth lease and that she would work a deal and have me out in a decent amount of time. This was my first experience at planet Honda with Mr Kaleem Wyne who helped us. It was greatMe and My Friend were searching Car for last 2 months. It was my first Car.Last Saturday when I went to planet Honda with my friend we are not in hope that we will car that day but when we met Kaleem Wyne, this person made deal in 10 min. I was in the market to purchase a car and have always owned a Honda. However I was in an 03' Honda and definitely wanted to upgrade. I researched all Honda dealerships in the surrounding area and noticed that planet was not too far from me. The first thing I did was Google planet to look at their reviews and ratings and came across Tony's name quite a few times about his care, attention to details, and his professionalism... Upon reading all his reviews and the reviews of other's, u decided planet sounded like a place that I would gladly do business with. Let me tell you. Those reviews, some over exaggerated and some on point... Did not disappoint me. i walked into planet Honda and when I was asked if I was being helped, I told them that I was looking for a car and asked if I could meet with Tony. Tony Ruiz was very courteous from beginning to end. He greeted me and made me feel comfortable about my decision to purchase a car as I was nervous. He listened to exactly what I wanted in a car and showed me a few. He went into detail about all the car gadgets and how they work and took his time. He was friendly, enthusiastic, professional. The entire process was easy and smooth and everyone treated me great. I came out with a great car, at a great price and a huge smile! I would recommend planet Honda if your are in the market to buying a car. And seeing as a shopper never knows what they're walking into, I would recommend you see Tony!

My Mother wanted a new CRV. Being busy at work I asked her to go test drive a CRV so she could be sure it was the car for her. She went to another dealership and had a bad experience from the salesman. He seemed not to care, as she stated because "she was a woman and older". She asked me to accompany her to another dealer. We went to Planet Honda and met Frank Talarico. He took his time and explained every feature of the vehicle, even programming her phone into the Bluetooth. He took great car of my Mother, beat another price I had gotten online from another dealership by $250, and made the whole experience painless. When I arrived at Planet Honda I was greeted immediately by Ash, who ended up being the salesman that helped me find my car. We had some difficulty finding the car that I had originally come in for, but when we found out that the car had been pulled off the lot for body issues, Ash helped me find an equivalent vehicle (same year, almost the same mileage) and worked with me and my family to work the price to fit my budget. Ash was very friendly and put my interests first. He also worked with my timeline in terms of picking up the vehicle, coming in on his scheduled day off to help me finish the paperwork. A++ service.

I would never go back to Planet Honda.First of all, before I came to Planet Honda, I called them and made appointment for 3 pm. When we came, they only started talking to us 2 hours later. Then, when we start talking to the salesman, he said that they don't have the same promotion for leasing a car as they have on their website. We were returning 2013 Honda Civic and getting 2016 Honda Civic for lease. We had overage for miles which we had to pay. During signing of paperwork our salesman, his name is Jesus Olivares asked my husband if we want to pay for miles and we agreed to pay. Jesus went to check how many extra miles we have and we paid. Two weeks later we received a letter from Honda Finance and the bill for extra miles. I called Honda Finance and they said I have to talk to the dealership. I called Planet Honda, they transfered me to 5 different people and I was trying to explain the same thing to all 5 people. Finally, one of them said that our manager will call you back and she did. I spoke to Sue Leach and I explained to her what happened. She said that she has to review all paperwork and called me back the next day saying that after reviewing paperwork nothing can be done. She said "it looks like you didn't pay for miles'!" I requested a copy of paperwork where shows that we did not pay. She sent me a copy and something was scratched. They lied to us. This is the worst place ever. Now we have to pay to Honda Finance again.

I went into Planet Honda just to find out what I needed in order to lease a new car. I'm 22 with a very light credit history so I knew my chances were slim on coming out with anything in my budget. My first contact was Monica in Internet sales. Pleasant and professional, she got me into the dealership. I met Anthony in the parking lot as I was walking in. The biggest smile and friendly greeting was my first impression from him. The test drive was underwhelming because it was only in the back roads around the dealership. Since we had already test driven the vehicle that was acceptable but probably would not have been if it was my first test drive. The negotiation process went smoothly with the help of Anthony Hartley and Joe Krynski. We worked with an "out the door price" so I didn't get caught up in all the miscellaneous fees involved in buying a car. They met an incentive offered by another dealer I had talked to. Most importantly I got the message that they wanted to make a deal from the start. They worked with me on a 2016 Honda Civic Coupe. I shopped around and got mixed comments about availability, demand, negotiability. Planet Honda had two models available to test drive when other dealerships had only one or were still waiting for delivery. Unlike other dealerships I contacted, there were no comments about how popular, new and hard to get this vehicle was. They had a "can do" attitude all along. After more research I needed to renegotiate the price we had agreed on when I put the deposit down. They worked with me on that as well. I felt treated fairly and like they wanted to do business with me. I would definitely come back to Planet Honda.

Upon walking through the door to the Planet Honda dealership on route 22, my brother and I were greeted with a handshake and soon after began our inquiry about the cars available that would meet our satisfaction. To no surprise the salesman who was showing me what the dealership has to over was very understanding with my specifications and very pleasant to deal with. Patient with my interests and although I expected to leave with a good car I was surprised with an even better offer which then had me leaving with a car that I'm 2x as happy with than the one I had intended to buy. Not to mention when I had difficulties using my ATM card for payment I was offered a ride to and from my bank to make the appropriate withdrawal twice without the slightest sign of irritation from Mr Ashraf Ghobrial, a very good man to see if you're ever to visit Planet Honda on NJ state route 22. I am Dwayne and I highly recommend you take a visit.

We been trying to purchase a very particular vehicle which was almost impossible to find. We dealt with a different dealer that said they can get the vehicle and gave us the run around for a week and never came thru. Initially, I had walked into Planet Honda just to inquire on prices and deals available on the 2016 Accord Sport and Accord V6 Coupe (both in a manual transmission). Stick shifts are slowly on the way to becoming extinct with all the advances in technology but Carlos Borbon made it happen for me on the Accord Sport. I must say, for someone who just walked in with no intention on buying a vehicle, my experience was very painless. This is my second time buying a vehicle from them since 2009 and the renovations that were made to the place are immaculate. You walk into the dealership with a very inviting atmosphere that ensures you'll be taken care of. Monika Kaszycka, went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied with my experience, from the time we spoke on the phone all the way to closing out on the deal with Carlos and Sal. She's very pleasant over the phone and even more so in person. Definitely ask for her and she will without a doubt point you in the right direction. Sal, who's part of the management team, is a straight-shooter and he's going to give you the veggies before your dessert (which I expect from any dealer). With that said, that doesn't mean he won't work with you-quite the opposite. He let's you know what you have to work with and then what he's able to do. He has my respect and I highly recommend him at the closeout of your deal (you know the part where your fate is decided by those magical 3 numbers aka credit score). He'll make it happen for you to the best of his abilities. Carlos Borbon, I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new vehicle. I had a good vibe since we first introduced ourselves to each other and it carried over all the way to us closing out and shaking on the deal. He was professional, realistic, understanding and most importantly, honest. He went out of his way to make sure I got the best deal he knew he could offer-considering the scarcity of the type of vehicle I wanted. This place has come a long way since 2009 and it shows by the staff and how operations are ran under the management team.

I needed a dependable car since my old one was 14 years old. First thing I thought of was, buy a Honda. So many are on the road and everyone can't be wrong about Hondas. I was greeted outside by Ahmad Radwan when I got out of my old car. It was on then for Ahmad to get my information and show me the right vehicle. I was not desperate to buy that day and wanted to look around at other dealerships, but I really liked a particular 2015 CR-V and knew certified was the way to go. Radwan's customer service was excellent and his knowledge of the cars he was selling sold me. Spending a lot of money is not a good experience, but when you have to, you want the best customer service you can get. Go Planet Honda!

I've been coming to honda for many many years , had some good experiences , got bounced around a lot , treated like I wasn't important and just a number only , I finally had the pleasure of meeting the twins who i found out no longer work here , great honest guys, I've yet to meet a service rep till I met Steven D who treated me with respect and made me feel at home and ease about my expenses with my car, he didn't try to shove a long list of repairs and sometimes unnecessary repairs down my throat, he took the time to break it down and helped me figure out what was best for me. Besides the twins I've never met such a knowledgeable and emphatic young man such as Steven Delafe in all my years of being a customer at planet honda , he is one of the key factors to the success of that place, honda is lucky to have him. Getting your car serviced at Planet Honda is a three to four hour wait no matter what you are having done, from a tire change to an oil change . Yes the people are courteous and friendly, but sitting in that waiting room is a nightmare with every salesman saying F.......?? The waiting room should be a friendly quiet place, knowing you are sitting their waiting three to four hours. Instead you are listening to the sales people talking about other sales people or talking a customer. I am not saying the quality of the work is not exceptional. I always return to Planet Honda for service, but I do dread sitting there.

Steve Delafe Service Advisor was courteous and was extra attentive to my needs. I services my vehicle on my only day off, which means I needed to take my 1 year old with me. Steve was extremely friendly and helped me until I was out the door. Provided some drink vouches for myself and my little one and even took my paperwork to the Kid zone area ( by the way, excellent idea) so that i wouldn't have to drag my child plus my belongings back to the service area. Really excellent service and so attentive to my needs. Thank you Steve!

We were in the parking lot and a sales guy met us there on March 5, 2016. He was a young sales person. He took us inside and was taking all our information, made copies of it, didn't once went over figures with us. Gave us a tour of the car and when we all came back inside he left the desk and we were just waiting, when we looked over he was sitting at another table with other customers helping them while we were patiently waiting. We got up and left and never returned. Would not go back there, end result is we purchased a new vehicle at another dealer with a good deal.

I was very disappointed and felt insulted at this story. I was looking forward to lease a car with Honda. My mother and I decided to go to the store on Rt22. Consultant Immanuel Grant approached us, In the beginning he was very polite. As soon as I said how much I wanted to spend the whole scenario changed. Immanuel stated that he wasn't able to give a quote and showed me the deals that they had, unless I was serious about taking the car home today. So I stated that I was going to take a vehicle home today. Immanuel stated he would only show me the deals if I take the car home and repeated "only if you are serious and going to take the car", so I felt insulted and left. I went next door to Hyundai which got a great service and ended up leaving with a car. It shouldn't matter if I am shopping around or if I am taking the car home the same day, I believe customer service should be equal. Concerned customer.

OUr experience was great, our sales person Eduardo Huaman, knew exactly, what to show us and was able to match what we were looking for with in minutes. After test driving the car we knew it ws meant for us. We were able to workout a deal that was comfortable for us and it all happen extremely fast. The "I'm spending the whole day buying car" ordeal, was over in about 3 hrs. It's a beautiful dealer and we are very happy!!

My salesman was Kaleem Yuyne and I found him to be extremely nice, professional and courteous. Unfortunately I had no choice but to bring my boys with me and he was very nice about it we had to be there quite sometime and he went out of his way to make them happy and content which isn't the easiest thing to do with 6 1/2 year old triplet boys. I did think it was a little ridiculous that you had to buy your own coffee and such especially since the process of buying a car does take hours waiting around dealership. But overall having such a caring and patient salesman made it worth while. He worked with me on what I could afford and didn't feel over pressured by him at all which would of made me walk out no matter how long I was there.

Helps to have your homework done in advance using TrueCar and the Planet Honda inventory listings. This is our third purchase from the dealership and all went well. Minor thing is that they forgot to remove the window sticker. Liam showed me the newer CR-V features before turning over the vehicle.

Simple. I email and get no responses. I emailed "bill" after receiving the spam saying to contact him for help. Eventually I do get return email so I again ask for out the door pricing to compare to other dealers. I get an email but no response to my question. Again i ask and this is the response. Now it would maybe be ok if they were there cheapest but they are not...But if you like this hard sell method then go hereHe basically said we are the cheapest, so why should I negotiate . Again problem is they weren't and he had no way of knowing either.

I came in today to planet honda believing that I would get a great deal from this place. I was actually looking forward to the vechicle. However I was severly disaapointed. I was helped right on the spot. However the car was not as described.I looked at the honda civic lx blue exterior and gray interior. I saw online that the car was in mint condition. I looked at it today and it was not in mint condition, there was a large scratch on the backside of the bumper. In addition there was a stain in the car interior with a scuffed up wheel covers and etc. The car many be inspected but it had more damage that expected. Also as I was shown to the vechile, the vechile apparently had dealership accessories added. Which Kero Rofail insisted was on the website. I asked him where it was and he was unwilling to show me. I just checked and there were no mention of it at all.When I mentioned that the price online if the car as described would be a price I was willing to go for. Not only was it different as described I was being ripped off by the nitrogen filled tires and safety features for the car, which is provided everywhere for free.I was going to switch to try a honda but now never again. This place was scummy and lying left and right. I will never come here again, not will I refer anyone I know.

I just purchased a new 2015 Honda Civic at Planet Honda of Union, New Jersey. I'm from Monmouth county and originally went to local dealerships in my area. I scoured Route #9 endlessly, from Honda dealership to Honda dealership only to end up constantly haggling over prices, and finance options. The dealerships in Monmouth county quoted me payments from $420 - $550 a month. Thankfully, Planet Honda has a reputation that precedes them. The service, salesmanship, demeanor, financing, and the all around, "Let's do the best that we can do to make the customer the priority attitude." I have never had such a heartwarming and just all-around great experience purchasing my new Honda Civic. Oh...and I should also add, that I got the exact same model, brand new car, with the same down payment that the other dealerships quoted me for only $260 a month. This was a purchase... not a lease - and I sure you this is a true story. Thank you Joe Krynski, Sales Manager, for all you did to make this happen. I just purchased a new 2015 Honda Civic at Planet Honda of Union, New Jersey. I'm from Monmouth County and originally went to local dealerships in my area. I scoured Route #9 endlessly, from Honda dealership to Honda dealership only to end up constantly haggling over prices, and finance options. The dealerships in Monmouth county quoted me payments from $420 - $550 a month. Thankfully, Planet Honda has a reputation that precedes them. The service, salesmanship, demeanor, financing, and the all around, "Let's do the best that we can do to make the customer the priority attitude." I have never had such a heartwarming and just all-around great experience purchasing my new Honda Civic. Oh...and I should also add, that I got the exact same model, brand new car, with the same down payment that the other dealerships quoted me for only $260 a month. This was a purchase... not a lease - and I assure you this is a true story!! Thank you Joe Krynski, Sales Manager, for all you did to make this happen. Thank you also to Tony Ruiz, Car Sales Associate and U.S. Veteran, for all your help to make this happen. Woo Woo!! Gotta' go now. It is with much pleasure that I update my first review. The car has been repaired and is in good working order. A huge shout out and thank you goes to David Bennin (Sales Rep) who by the way should be a Sales Manager. Although he was off the morning the incident took place he has been deeply involved in making sure we were satisfied. He is extremely professional. He has followed up with us on two occasions. I've been buying Toyota's since 2003 (5 in total) until my brother to told me to look at the new Honda Civic 2016. There is no comparison with Toyota (inside out). The car is phenomenal!!! (the trim, the ride, the body..it rocks!!!. I also want to thank Planet Honda to make this deal as smooth as it could. It was not easy due to my trade-in (2013 Toyota Corolla S). Had to jumpstart car over the weekend. Came today to Stephen Delafe at Planet Honda for help. I came without appointment but I was helped anyway. I followed Stephen's advice to have preventive battery service done to extend battery longevity. All service steps were explained to me, Stephen found out that repair was covered under my warranty, which I didn't know. Service was professional. I've leased and financed 6 cars from Planet Honda. I promise that I will NEVER do business with them again. 1. They took 3months to payoff a trade in. I wrote a review about that and low and behold I received an email from Eddie Amorin offering a free remote start and a free detail if I would remove the revie. I did but didn't get a chance to schedule installation of the remote start... I eventually emailed Eddie requesting to schedule an appointment and he never responded. 2. I'm being stalked by the female telemarketers wanting to discuss options for my leases...I've asked them well over a dozen times to stop calling me...guess what!? I just got a call from Glenda 908-922-4058....Planet Honda only cares about making a sale!

I met the sales person his name is Eric Flores very friendly and helpful. I just leased a 2016 Accord with Planet Honda Rte 22, and it was the most pleasant experience I have ever had dealing with a car salesperson. The salesperson who handled my lease deal was Emmanuel Grant, and I felt comfortable with him the first time I sat at his desk. I had lots of buying experiences from various car dealers since 1990, and every time I was done with my car buying/leasing, i came out exhausted from them, and always dreaded going back to a car dealer whenever I upgraded. Dealing with Emmanuel Grant was the only time that I felt really happy coming out of a dealership. Dealing with him was stress-free. He was not pushy, and was very honest with me (unlike previous salespeople I dealt with who would try to fool me). When you go to Planet Honda Route 22 to buy or lease a car, look for Emmanuel Grant. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed at all. Excellent, excellent customer service.

Nicole Gil was the first person who contacted me when I expressed interest in buying a 2016 civic touring and she was extremely helpful without being pushy or overbearing. She was really nice about getting me the information I wanted and followed up with me before I got here. I called December 22, 2015 I spoke to Monica on the phone I told her I am interested in the Certified inventory vehicle they I asked questions she kept giggling and saying oh you guys think the car is worth that much and giggled and said wow so besides that I still have scheduled a visit since I am traveling a far distance I didn't want to waste my time or theirs, I scheduled a appointment same day then I searched the vehicle online again to show my fiance it was listed as sold. Very disappointed!!! She then called me today which was December 26, 2015 asking to come in that we didn't that day yea because you guys sold it and I got the confirmation by another person there that day when I called to make sure, so I told her when she called I was very interested in that car we both discussed to hold for us to look at because we were planning on buying it that same day she then was arguing raising her voice and saying we can't hold a car for you we will not do that its your loss you guys didn't come (but then if we did, you guys sold it that same day) so we sold it she's very very very rude bad costumer service rep Monica is very very rude I been to this rodeo before with these people but I always try giving second chance but I will recommend them never to go there!!! They will not hold their promise or theirs prices! Monica is the rudest most attitude person there!

After having a bad experience at a different Honda dealership, I walked into this one very skeptical of all the salesmen. However, this place has been unlike all the other Honda dealerships I've seen. I had someone greet me right in the parking lot, before I even got into the building. At some points, I felt as though I was the crazy client with so many questions and requests, yet Amir was able to help me out with all of them. He went out of his way to set me up with a great car that was exactly how I wanted, and even went beyond my expectations by adding in a few bonuses on delivery (without me even asking). When my car was ready to be picked up, he even came in to work on his day off to make sure that I got my car as quickly as possible! And Levie was a great finance manager. It was my first time financing a car, so I also had a lot of questions in this department, and he was so patient and honest with everything. He took his time to explain every last detail to me, making sure everything was perfect. Overall, I had a great experience here, and would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the future.

Planet Honda cars certainly must be selling themselves. I walked thru your dealership last night like a ghost, since nobody even acknowledged me. When I asked to sit inside a CRV, the salesman didn't even want to go fetch a set of keys. His coworker suggested I climb up on the big rock where one CRV was parked saying that those doors were open. He wasn't joking. If I were a sales manager, these guys would be gone instantly. It wasn't even a cold night out. But anyway, the Hyundai Tucson next door looked really nice on the inside!! Their guy greeted me and walked to the back lot and pulled up the car for me. Imagine that! A car salesman trying to sell me a car!!

I helped my parents with the purchase of their first EVER new Honda. This is going to be their retirement car as they zip around everywhere in their "golden years." All of us are long-time multiple Honda owners, so we knew the next car has to be a Honda also . Anthony was very patient and respectful toward my parents and answered all my questions throughout the process. I appreciated that Anthony showed courtesy and professionalism. Walking into a car dealership requires stamina, since one expects to be automatically assaulted by the screaming, overzealous, jumpy salesperson in a bad suit and a loud tie we all see on the TV commercials that make us cringe - so opening a door to a car dealership is an act of bravery of sorts. Don't do it if you aren't feeling too well, lol! That was not the case with us however! We came in on Saturday, and talked with Anthony. It was a conversation rather than a sales push. We weren't sure so we we decided to come back on Monday. My parents drove away in a brand new Honda that evening - Anthony was the opposite of what I described above. I appreciate the attention and the help.He also helped me with several details after the purchase and I received an immediate response to my request for help. Overall, excellent!

I would normally go to Hillside Honda in Queens NY to do my business but all that changed once I went to Planet Honda,I had a very nice experience working with Carlos Borbon "sales rep" and Joseph Harrison "finance rep" the two of them made buying my 2016 Pilot very simple & easy.I live in Astoria Queens but I'm looking forward to driving back to this great dealership when I get my Pilot serviced for the first time. So I called 15+ dealerships to get our new Pilot for our arriving baby, I mean its an expensive affair and requested out of door price quotes. 99.9% of them gave it in 1 hr. Planet Honda refused to do so, I kind of understand their rational that certain fees are calculated at time of sale but we as buyers do understand these are estimates and help to price compare. It was also the way they put the communication. In this highly competitive and internet savvy market if you cannot offer that, its a loss or a failure. I also said that other have given just as FYI, the rep goes I dont work else where and this is how we work at Planet Honda. I dont remember the name of the lady who picked up sales call. She was also super fast.

Let me start by saying I have been to this dealership before in the past, and had both good and bad experiences with a number of different salesmen/saleswomen. This is a difficult environment for some people to purchase cars from, because they pump out sales like nothing I've ever seen before. It can get very hectic and the wrong salesman can hang you out to dry very quickly, and fail to show interest if you aren't ready to make a purchase immediately.This is where Anthony stood out from the rest of the salesmen I have dealt with at Planet Honda in the past - or at any dealership actually. He was very attentive, very understanding, and tried a number of different approaches to come to a deal that worked out for both sides. In an industry that is riddled with fakes and liars and schemers that parade around as salesmen, Anthony is a true diamond in the rough - a genuine person, not someone just trying to make a quick buck off of me.The car that we purchased was for my girlfriend, but I am strongly considering purchasing my own Honda through Anthony as well. The guy is a godsend - its no wonder that he is one of the top Honda salesmen in the country. Do yourself a favor and ask for Anthony specifically if you ever go to Planet Honda - you won't be disappointed.

After a long and terrible day of car shopping I ended with planet Honda on 22 in Union, I pulled in and was immediately shown where to park and walked through the dealership by a young man named Anthony I have never been treated with such respect, exspecially after the day I had with other sales man he wasn't pushy or rude he helped me get down to a do-able payment that wouldn't make me go completely broke. At the end of the day I walked out with my head held high and feeling very accomplished. I took my brand new Honda Accord with me that night and have never been happier.

I purchased a new Honda Pilot from this dealership. At the time of the pick up, I noticed that there were couple of pieces missing from the vehicle. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt to address these issues. The repairs dragged on and took several weeks to address. They also promised a loaner which never materialized (twice!). The Sales guy promised roof racks in exchange for positive customer svc. reviews (which they relay on heavily). I contacted the customer svc. mgr and president, and have never heard from them. This leads me to believe that this is their usual protocol to gain good reviews. I would really stay away from this dealership. And they never fixed the wind noise issue when exceeding 60 MPH - the sales guy returned the vehicle without even looking into it but saying to drive it for a while to see if still makes the noise. It really wasn't worth my time to address any issues with the car as they had no interest in fixing it.

Theres nothing more I can say... I am speechless. Never less, the sales man who took care of me from the moment i walked in till i drove away in my new pilot. The experience is like no other. Finance took a little long. But Frank Talarico, did his best in expediting the process and it was all worth it. Read many negative reviews about PH on this site and others but I tried anyway, because they are close by. I did an online quote for a EX-L Pilot Navi. I receievd my price and the old "let's make an appoinment line" I had other prices for same car and PH was not the best. A few emails more they sent about stopping by and then I asked about out the door fees. Thats when the attitude change in tone of emails. I couldnt get online breakdown of fees after sale like other dealers had provided. Why internet shop, If I have to go there? Any seasoned car buyer knows going there gives them the leverage for the good cop bad cop routine and then comes the mauling in the finance office. Lastly received email from internet sales manager dude with a condescending tone, telling me how great PH is and I should "come in to see what he can do" Bottom line do your homework and have your ducks in row before "stopping by" Check out fightingchance.com, Mr Bragg is car buyer consumer advocate who provides much needed info when car shopping. Just my .02.....

Going to a car dealership on a Saturday? Sounds like xxxx. But this trip, was the complete opposite. My main purpose of going in was just to get a ball park figure on a car. Calculate what a car would cost me, what my insurance quote would be, etc. Basically, everything you would want to know before getting your first car. Walking in I was instantly treated like family. My grandmother -a long time Honda owner- being there was an extra plus, but that little fact aside, everyone was welcoming and friendly. We were pulled aside by Steve, who was super helpful and extremely knowledgable. He helped me find the right path to go down, while getting me the best deal possible. He was extremely patient with me, while I figured out where my grandmother wandered off to, and while I called everyone in my family for opinions. At the end of this 4 hour visit, I ended up leaving with a brand new 2015 Honda Civic LX and Planet Honda ended up with another satisfied, life-Long customer.

I called to schedule a recall with Planet Honda however I also wanted some extended warranty work done on one of my pistons. The woman I scheduled with couldn't get me in for at least 6 weeks which put me out of date on my warranty. The woman talked to the GM who assured me that they would still honor my warranty and take of me. When I got to the dealer they told me that they were not going to honor the warranty nor would they make any effort to talk to the GM or let me talk to him.......oh, and by the way we're not going to do all of the recall work we said were going to. I went back and forth them for a bit but ended up leaving VERY ANGRY and DISSATISFIED WITH THEM. I have purchased 3 vehicles from Planet Honda in the past but WILL NOT BE DOING SO AGAIN. As it is, my vehicle had the piston issue when I purchased it but Planet Honda did not bother repairing it before selling the vehicle. I will also not be referring anyone to them ever again. I will be selling or trading my vehicle as well.

At first I was very skeptical, it was my first time buying a car and have heard many stories of how people get ripped off. Well that was definitely NOT my case. My salesperson (Eduardo Huamen) was very patient with me and I felt he was really trying for me to get the best deal. I think I made him go back and forth like 10 times with his manager until we came to an agreement, and he never even seemed frustrated, always had a smile on. Everything else went smooth, met the manager and also a great person, finance department also very friendly. When I told all my friends the price I'm paying, they all said it was a good deal. I received a call asking if I wanted to turn in my leased car. I wasn't even thinking about it, but was told to just come in and see if "we" can find something better. The car that was offered was a downgrade - no sunroof, no heated seats, no tilt steering no leather - But it was a 2015 as opposed to a 2013. I was told at the sales desk that I would be paying the same amount as I was for the 2013. When I finished signing the paperwork in that backroom I was told that my payment would be sixty dollars more. When I questioned why, I was not given a clear answer nor was I offered the chance to rescind the deal --which I stated I wanted to do. I am so unhappy with this new car and feel I was highly taken advantage of. Yes, the salesmen were very nice but I feel they took great advantage of me. For this reason I would never go back nor will I ever recommend this car dealership to anyone. I wish I never got that call. I can't stop crying. I am so unhappy.

The Service Manager(Matthew Papol) and Head Technician(Dominic) both assisted in resolving an issue with a part that I hadn't received due to my being out of the state for several months. Once the problem was recognized the part was re-ordered and without an app't they saw too it that the issue was resolved. I made an appointment for an oil change at Planet Honda, Route 22 on 8/31/15 at 9:45AM, When I pulled into the service area there were eight cars ahead of me in the drop off line area, (I thought to myself this is going to be awhile). A gentleman took my name an escorted me inside, where I checked in and within a few minutes was greeted by my service advisor Steven Delafe., He was polite, courteous and promised me that he would have me in and out as quickly as possible. Within 15 minutes Steven Delafe came to the customer service lounge and said my car was ready! Let me start by saying at 41, I have always had a hand me down or used car in my 20 plus years of driving. I met Joe K when he worked at another dealership, and he said "Gene, when you're ready for a new car, let me know". Well, I guess thats been heard by every car owner who's been to a dealership before with the added "I'll take good care of you". Again, nothing uncommon with that statement either. Well my time had finally come and was going to get what I've always had another Toyota, and let me preface this by saying when you're new to this dance everyone in the showroom smells it and no matter how much research you do, its never enough...I was reeling and went looking for Joe K, and found out he had moved to Planet Honda so I reached out to him, and he said Gene, I will help you. Let me start out by saying I knew nothing about Honda's I was a Toyota Guy. I did some looking on the website and went to Consumer Report's annual auto issue and found the Civic was actually rated better in every catagory then the Corolla and I was like well perhaps its time for me to broaden my horizens. I called Joe and told him my story and how this would be my first lease and like a great quarterback he took it from there. Joe K, and Matt who I met via Joe treated me like no joke I was thier best friend or member of the family. Anytime I had a question they called me on the spot. I had a little hiccup with my credit which was embarrasing because I am the Director of Client Support of a National Credit Repair company, however I had never had an auto lease before which was working against me. Joe assured me he would not let me down and he didn't. Matt who I hadn't met before was making sure everything and detail I wanted was met. I picked up my first new car this past Thursday my brand new Civic LX. I pinch myself every morning when I see it to make sure its real. On the night of delivery Matt stayed till 10pm setting up my Bluetooth with me. All I have told anyone I have bumped into the past few days is how amazing it was to be treated like I was not only a person and not a sale but a member of their family. I will forever sing the praises of Joe K, Matt and Planet Honda. On July 23, 2015 we walked into the showroom of planet honda and what was supposed to be a shopping experience turned out to be a buying experience. Our salesman, Daniel Angeles who welcomed us into the facility did a great job in patiently showing the cars we were interested in and explaining the features of each car shown. Daniel was very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating to us throughout the process and guided us every step of the way until we closed the deal on a 2015 CRV EX-L. He even went the extra mile in driving to our house the new car because there was no one at that time who can drive it for us. We are very happy with the purchase and our friends have been raving about our new CRV. This is my second vehicle with honda. My first was the 2013 pilot now I'm driving a 2015 black on black honda crosstour. Believe me this car is a head turner. I received plenty of compliments the first day I purchased it. It's nice and shorty. I love my new car. I had a service scheduled for 8:30, upon arrival i gave them my keys and was waiting in the waiting room. at 10:15, i went to check on my car and that is when they inform me that they have lost my keys. this entire hour plus i was waiting and no one came to tell me they had lost my keys.after that i requested a courtesy car so i can atleast go to work, they refused to give because I had a debit card and not credit. then they offered to pay enterprise but they were unable to give me a car because I am not 21. When i was dropped off by enterprise. they found my keys and the service manager ignored me and offered no explanation or apology, so I had to just take my car head to work which i got written up for because of their incompetence and lack of customer service. NOTE: As good as this dealership sounds, as soon as you sign on the dotted lines.... everything called customer service goes out the window. Poor service after purchase was given to me and two other friends. The least the manager could have done was atleast apologize .

Our experience with planet Honda was very pleasant. The staff was very friendly. Our sales consultant, Pierre George, sold us a 2015 Honda accord sport. He was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond. Pierre answered all of our questions we had accurately and consistently. His price was the BEST in the metropolitan area. Pierre was very courteous and attentive. He made sure all our questions were answered while leaving with the car and also made a few follow-up calls to see how everything was going. To begin with, i loved the location, Planet Honda outlet and most important their inventory. Esther who was the Sales representative greeted us warmly and introduced us to Mr. Alfonso. He was thorough with the current inventory status and helped us test drive the car, i was looking for. I had a budget of 14000 and the car i liked on the internet was listed at 14,400. Unlucky for me that i reached a bit late and some other customers bought the car, just before Alfonso could take my offer to the Sales Manager. Later he had to jump on some other sales deal and he asked us to check other cars in their inventory, we were not attended for 30 mins, but saturday being the busiest day we could understood the situation. Eventually the car we liked was priced at 15,000 however the price i could stretch was 14,500 which was eventually denied by the Sales Manager. i would definately recommend Planet Honda to new/old car buyers. Honda have lived up to every person's expectation, who owns one. Thanks a lot Esther , Alfonso and the cool new junior sales rep for all your help.

I have recently leased a Honda CR-V from Planet Honda. I had a great salesman by the name Pierre George. He was very helpful through out the buying process. The overall experience is good. The only disappointment was that they didn't deliver the terms that were advertised. Ended up paying little more than what was initially promised. Yet it was the best deal that is available on the market. Even the finance department staff were very helpful. The fiance person Jason has taken ample time to explain the terms of the lease. The person that made the appointment for us (sorry i could not remember her name) connected me with Mr Kaleem Wyne, what a pleasure to work with Kaleem. I worked with Josh Webster and Carlos Crispin who are both extremely professional and knowledgeable. My goal was to terminate my '13 Accord LX lease (also purchased at PH through Stephen March) and begin a new lease for a '15 Accord EX. Both representatives worked around my finances in order to get me into the new car. There was no pressure to buy and both Carlos and Josh worked with their manager to get me the deal. I didn't even need to call the insurance company to put new coverage on the car - they did that for me - I just had to verify my info over the phone. From start to finish, you couldn't ask for more kind, courteous, and professional guys. The car was delivered to me after it was detailed, and Carlos expressed to call him with any needs. Recently purchased a Honda Accord from Ash. Friendly salesman as to be expected, however he did take the time to help us find what we were looking for and doing some serious # crunching on the sales price. All in all after many hours of negotiating and test driving we left with a pretty sweet deal which netted $5k in savings including free warranty for 3 yrs b2b & 7 yr PT & 1 yr free maintenance. As a dealer my only concern is doing the finance discussion first so customers are aware of final payment. Vehicle is great and dealership was good. Also recommended better insurance which save us $700 yearly and in the event of total loss we get non depreciated value for payout which is rare. If car is stolen we also get $2500 from Honda on top of insurance check. Not bad not bad at all.

Exhausted of going to three dealership where they treated us poorly, we found planet Honda on 22 hillside, where we found someone who treated us with respect, Nelson Mandela. He was an exceptionally great salesperson. He does not assume things about the customer, he simply aids them in finding what they were looking for. He is the definition of customer service. This was my first time with Planet Honda. I had a quote from Edmunds.com and hence I didn't have any issues with my Sales associate Mr. Jeremy . He was very quick with all the information that I required. Jeremy helped me with all the required paper work and took care of a minor scratch that was there on the door. He scheduled the time with body shop and got me a rental car. The car was ready the same day. Antonio Matos is awesome! We came in with a set amount we wanted to pay for a car and he made sure that we only looked at vehicles that were in our price range. Before meeting him, I had a lot of doubt about car dealers and was very cautioned about the things they would say. Antonio had the best customer service and was sincere about the sale and the costs. Service has become problematic since the service center was made bigger. Every time I go for even just an oil change they would recommend at least 2 other things to be done for exorbitant prices like changing a simple cabin filer was gonna cost $110 w/c takes 10 minutes to do. And when I would decline their recommendations, there was always something wrong after. One time 2weeks after i went for oil change, I discovered my oil level was down to almost nothing when I only drive 15 miles a day.Another time , when I declined, oil was dripped on my driveway. Last time I went after I declined my air filter cover was not latched in, no wonder I was loosing power.. They have become untrustworthy.

My wife and I bought a Honda CRV on 5/6/15 and the experience was friendly and relaxed. The Dealership had come well recommended. Joshua Webster was great. Even though he only had started with Planet Honda three months prior he was informative and was interested in helping us get the car we wanted at the right place. Horrible, horrible experience. I walked in with my 15 month old son and wife. I was in to purchase a car and told them that i did not want financing and was almost ready to purchase if got a good deal and am a reasonable person.Not only they did not greet us well, we had wait for a long time in the wind and cold outside till he found the car keys, he got wrong car keys 2-3 times never offering us to sit inside till they found one.Also, when i said i liked the car and was ready to test drive, he said 'hold hold' we cannot allow you, there is a whole lot procedure before you can even touch the car.He was super rude and kept bragging that we are the No. 1 Dealer in NJ and we have so many cars in our lot.When we went in to complete the 'procedure' he comes and tells me i cannot drive it since the car's insurance and my license did not permit me to drive. That is the lamest thing i have ever heard.They did not even offer a chair to sit, we had grad one of our own from a different place to sit. They dont have any courtesy for kids or mothers or anyone.Worst place ever. NEVER VISIT, AVOID. Try another Honda Dealer - about 15 minute drive from there.

Quick, Efficient, Friendly, & No Games. I was impressed with my sales rep Josh Webster. Josh took the time to work within my budget, and help find the right model Pilot for my family. Planet Honda and Josh treated me with respect, and really made the process smooth all the way through the process of finding the "right" vehicle, negotiating the price, working with finance, and the of course delivering the vehicle that my family and I wanted at the price we felt was fair. The entire process was efficient, and clear. This was my first dealing with the Planet Honda dealership, but not my first Honda, and I left in the new SUV feeling satisfied with my purchase, and was happy that Josh Webster was able to assist in getting my family the right vehicle. I look forward to working with Josh again when my second needs to be replaced, or the lease on this Pilot runs it's course !

Overall I'm happy because I got the price I wanted. David Brown was very friendly and reasonably knowledgeable. My only gripe it the amount of time it took to get through the process. We were there twice, once to negotiate and another to pick up the car. Each time we were there for three hours. A lot of that time was spent waiting for things to happen.I'm from CT. I emailed/talked to Honda dealers from Boston to north Jersey and Planet Honda gave me the best price. It was worth traveling.EDIT: I've downgraded the customer service and overall experience. Since Im out of state I have a NJ Non-Resident Temporary Plate. Its good for twenty days. I wanted to register it myself but my salesman (who is no longer with Plant Honda), his manager, the finance guy, and another manager all told me that since Im financing part of it that they had to do the registration. They assured me that Id have my plates within twenty days and that they would overnight them just to make sure. After several discussions I relented and let them do the registration. Well its twenty one days and still no plates. Starting 10 days before the temp expiration I started calling and sending texts to my salesman (not knowing he wasnt there anymore) and the dealership. Nobody returns my voice mails or texts or got back to me when they said they would...or at all for that matter. I had to call them everytime. At the eighteen day mark I called the State of CT. It turns out they received the application from a titling agency they day before (day seventeen). They processed it that day and overnighted to the agency and I was even able to get the plate number (there is currently no backlog so there is currently a one day turn around). I was actually surprised that it only took about ten minutes to get the infoAfter calling CT I called the dealership to find out whats up. I started to get the run around and nobody had the answer. First Im told the person who does out of state registrations is out. I had to request to talk to a manager twice before I got one. He said they didnt have the plates and because they use an agency (not sure how the person who does out of state registrations fits into this) and had no way to check the status. I explained thats completely untrue because I got the info from CT in about ten minutes. I figure that since I dont know the process for this but was still able to get the info so quickly they should be able to easier than I can.I explained to him the time line and how CT didnt receive the application until three days before the temp expires. He said if thats the case they should get the plates the next day (day nineteen) and theyll overnight it to me. I asked what I do about the expiring temp. He said to just keep driving and if I get a ticket theyd pay it. Yes, a manager at Plant Honda told me to drive illegally. I explained I need to travel out of state this weekend and Im not willing to drive across several states with an expired paper plate. He promised they would overnight it today so Id have them tomorrow before I go on my trip and that he would call me this morning. Well, big surprise, he didnt call. Again, I had to call them only to find out he isnt even today (or doesnt come in til later today...not clear on that). Apparently he couldnt be bothered to ensure someone was taking care of my plates knowing he wasnt going to be there. The person that answered the phone said the plates were there and they would send them out in a couple days. I had to go through the whole explanation again. The woman told me it usually takes up to 60 days to get out of state plates so this was pretty quick; which makes no sense because the temp is only good for 20 days and cant be renewed. Either the people (multiple) who assured I would have them within 20 days lied or the woman on the phone was misinformed. Since the non-resident temp plate is only good for twenty days, Ill give them the benefit of the doubt and go with the latter.Well she told me they would overnight them and call me with the tracking number. Well see if that happens.It appears once the sale is made they dont put much effort into customer service. They should track all registrations to ensure theyre done on time. Once my salesman left there should have been someone checking sale to ensure everything is complete. Theyre very disorganized and are very poor at returning calls once the sale is done.

I bought my CRV used in New York, but now live locally. I recently brought it in for 60,000 mile service. I had my 3-year-old with me and Carmen was amazingly helpful (and quick!) with getting us set up. I thought we would need to take a shuttle home and be without our car all day but Carmen arranged for us to get a loaner car. Then he kept in touch with me throughout the day about the status of my car. Kelvin also helped me carry my heavy car seat around from our regular car to the loner, which was a big help, being alone with my toddler! Everyone was very friendly and helpful, from the reception staff to the cashiers. They made this a pleasant experience and I'll definitely be going back again.

Moe Rahmoun was the man! We went to Planet Honda pretty much knowing what we wanted. Moe took all the time we needed to decide. We could not believe his patience. I have to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude! Kristin and Mr. Stephen March took customer service to a new level. Friendly, courteous, attentive, understanding and timely are just a few words I can use to describe my experience with these two great people! My day started off bad, but I was assured that it would soon turn around. I explained that my daughter was in school and needed to be picked up by a certain time and again, I was assured I would be done in time to get her. Before I walk in to planet Honda I went to open road and viphonda. I was surprised by the deals they have on Honda Accord and cr-v. It will $1500 difference. Still I bargained and they reduced another 250$. The sales person Stephen March was friendly and he explained everything patiently and answered all my questions and clarified all doubts. My salesman, Jeremy was great. Although the process of negotiating took long time, Jeremy consulted & introduced his manager to get the final deal done. The location is not on the best route, it gets very congested after 10 am. The dealership is immaculate & it has all new models to view throughout the showroom. I've been to several dealers looking for the right price and car. When I came in I was greeted by Ali Salazar. he walked me threw the whole process, listened to my concerns, worked with my budget, went above and beyond to help me and my family get in a car! He was very polite and really worked hard with my budget. Which I know isn't easy.....(past experiences with other dealers turned into nightmares fast!!!) He was very patient with us.. and especially our kids. We had a great experience. We are very happy such a sigh of relief!!!

The customer service at Planet Honda is exceptional. I was able to purchase my 2014 Honda accord within two hours for a great price that fits my budget. My salesman Ron was very knowledgeable about the car as well as competitors pricing. Before coming to PH, I had already been to two other dealerships and was not comfortable. When I came into Honda I was approached by Joe (tall, bald, wearing a suit). He shook my hand, was polite and friendly. I felt he listened to me and worked to keep me within my budget. His boss (Jimmy? Jaime?) was also very nice. I look forward to my future with Honda.

My salesman, Ron Rajnai was great! Helpful and professional I was struggling with a car needing repairs, and Ron helped me go home with a new car with almost the same monthly cost, minus all the worry about break-downs/driving safe. I didn't feel pressured or rushed, and he made sure I got what I needed for an affordable price. He took all the stress out of the process. For anyone worried about hard-sells and bad choices at a dealership - and that's most people - I fully recommend going directly to him.

This was my second time doing business with Planet Honda. I worked with Ryan McKenzie (Sales) and Levie Frank (Finance) both times, and their professionalism was a big reason that I chose to come back when I decided to trade in my Pilot for a CRV. I feel that this dealership provides excellent customer service, and really shows appreciation for repeat customers. Their pricing is also fantastic. I really like this dealership as a whole, but the quality of service and committment to full disclosure throughout every step of the process by Ryan and Levie are the main reasons that I will continue to come back to this dealership and refer them to friends and family. Our salesman was Aladdin Agina & Kero was the sales manager. They were both excellent & I recommend them highly. Aladdin gave us an excellent deal on our used 2012 Honda Accord LX-P. We got a good deal on the trade in of our Oldsmobile. We have no complaints. I had to call back at night about the wheel locks & Aladdin answered my questions. I had to go back to get something out of my old car & Aladdin helped me again. Ask for Aladdin !! He is knowledgeable, efficient & easy going !!

Never do business with this dishonest & liar people. They put their internet price for used car competitive, when you ask them to give you out-the-door price on phone or email, they ask you to come to their showroom. We spoke to Estar & she said that their will be taxes & registration fees, nothing else and asked her to come to showroom. Believing her word we drove 40 mins & after test drive & everything else, the salesman "Danny" mentioned that there is $695 appearance fees in all their cars+$99 nitrogen tire fees+$399 documentation fees apart from taxes & registration fees. We didn't negotiated price, we were ready to pay full listed price, and take the car same day, but all these fees threw us off.If they would have told us about all these fees on phone itself, it would have not wasted our time. They don't have value for anybody else time & they don't feel sorry for that.They also play cheap sale trick with you, where they try to call some other dummy interested party in front of you on speaker & tell the other dummy person ( one of their own) that they can't accept their offer & price is not-negotiable. Worst sale trick ever, what they think that we don't have any brain.Please take your business somewhere else & save your effort, time & money.

I walked into the Union location no knowing what I am going to get. Withing minuets my sales consultant Alfonso Douriet was on point, he took his time and walked me thru inventory until I saw some cars I liked, completed my test drive, paper work the whole nine yards :), needless to say I am very please/happy with my purchase and with Alfonso's assistance. I entered the dealer with my nephew, who raved about the salesmen and the managers at the dealership. He convinced me into going to the dealer because the people were kind , respectful and above all worked with their clients. After a wonderful experience with the salesman Francis Duah, I knew I made the right choice. I was satisfied until I had to work with the finance person, Richard Scott. I was taken by surprised when he started to lose his temper, when my nephew explained I did not need the extended service. He asked my nephew not to touch the paper and stated: "who is the car for ?" (knowing my name was on all the documents), frustrated by his approach my nephew stated: "I AM". My Nephew explained he did not have to sign any extended services this morning when he leased his CRV. He responded maybe because you were not approved. We moved on as my nephew speaks to me in my home language and Mr. Scott says: "excuse me", with a deep stare, "are you talking to me?", I responded and said "No, he is talking to me" and Mr. Scott says: " I thought so". I asked him to please stop and move on. He then looks at me and says, "You need to tell me right now who will be driving this car, I don't want any false documents and you are being recorded. I looked at him and said , I will and he stated that is not what he just said, you can not lease the car and have him drive it". I looked at him and said sir, he did not say that. He keep going on and I said I am getting frustrated now and he says me too. I stated my nephew has four cars, and does not need to drive my car. He continues to carry on and I then stated: "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus". He respond with: "So we are bringing Jesus into this?" , I respond: "Yes, because I am trying to defuse this, and you just won't stop." Mr. Scott then states: "Oh I was trying to protect you, because the camera is recording." I stated: "Thank you for protecting me." He ask me to sign the papers and read them because people come back thinking they brought a car they leased. My daughter was with us and started to laugh and he says yes some people think leasing is buying. I proceed to sign my papers ignoring all additional comments he made. It was terrible after leasing four cars and referring me my nephew was being disrespected in my presence. Because of this experience it is hard to score all areas a five. I spoke to one of the managers and he apologized.

I did not have the best experience, the whole thing was frustrating and stressful, but Ahmad, my salesman did his job, and helped me as best he could. Jason the finance guy was awesome, the only positive thing about the situation. Boss man is a jerk and only feels the need to be nice to make the sale.

Wasn't looking to terminate our lease early, but Planet Honda called and luckily Ron was the salesman. He is easy going, extremely knowledgeable and a great guy with whom to work. He worked very hard to meet our requirements, answered all of our questions and was never pushy. He only wanted to please us and make sure we were satisfied customers. AND WE ARE!!!! We would recommend Planet Honda to anyone we know. Dave Brown was working with him. He was a very interesting gentleman and definitely has good potential. He, like Ron, knows how to talk to people. That is half the battle. This is our 4th Honda Accord and we keep coming back.

Have you ever been verbally assaulted in a car dealership? I have. Read on: Planet Honda is a greedy corporation that only cares about you until you purchase a car. About two months ago, I bought a CPO vehicle. Part of the deal included a written agreement that the service department would cut an additional key for the car. I've been struggling to get this accomplished for over a month. On my most recent attempt, I followed the instructions given to me by the salesman and drove to the dealership on a Saturday to have the key made. Upon arrival, I called to let them know I had arrived. On the phone, I was told that they couldn't help me today because it was too busy. Then, the used car manager took the phone and started telling me that they couldn't help me. Then, he hung up on me mid-conversation. I proceeded to enter the dealership to inquire about having the key made. At this point, the used car sales manager verbally assaulted me in the used car showroom. He was yelling at the top of his lungs to the point that customers and employees in the room were all looking in his direction to see what was wrong. "We've never cut a key for a CPO car before!" "It's a Saturday and I don't have time to deal with you!" "LEAVE! Go, we're not helping you!" This man was red in the face because he was yelling so loudly.To make a long story short, I will never return to this dealership. EVER. I would rather overpay by a few hundred dollars than allow this company to receive my hard-earned money.

Ok first of all if you go to this place go to Ali. He was the nicest salesperson I have ever had in my life. I actually bought 2 cars from him in 1 day. A odyssey for my wife and a accord sport for myself. He gave us a super deal which no other dealership could have beaten. This salesman was not pushy, or gave us any pressure like the other sales guys at this place. Go to Ali, I promise you won't be disappointed. Thanks for your help Ali.

I came to this Honda dealership dejected in my mind i wasn't going to get the car i wanted i was goin to get the run around and end up wit some used Honda that i didn't want base on my credit history which was far from great i had counted myself out before i sat down. I said my prayer and started to converse wit the dealer and 5 min into our conversation i knew God had put me in the right seat. He ask me about the car and the features i wanted afterwards he took me downstairs to pick out the car i wanted and they were all 2015 models and i saw this 2015 Accord Sports Model and" yes it was love at first sight " now on to the banks and let me tell you this dealer and the finance ppl went hard for me meaning they went back and fourth nonstop doin everything humanly possible to see me in that car. Inclosing i drove away in a 2015 Honda Accord Sports Model wit 2 miles on it. It's been 5 days since i drove away in my brand new car and i'm still on cloud nine I LUV THIS VEHICLE!, my car notes are affordable to my budget And i'm so very grateful and i thank God for this dealer Kaleem Wyne.....Thank you Kaleem you made my expreience at Planet Honda nothing short of wonderful and thank Planet Honda for you caring hospitality and i would recommend this dealership and especially this dealer Mr. Kaleem Wyne to anyone even thinking about purchasing a honda vehicle ask for Mr. Kaleem Wyne it would be one of the best decision you could make.

I have been with Honda for over 9 years now. I have always been treated with the upmost respect from Kaleem. He always listens to my needs and I am able to always find a viable solution. Kaleem is the only person I will deal with as he treats me like I am one of the family. I just purchased a 2015 honda Accord. I thought I was in love with my Toyota Camry until I drove the Accord. Agustin Olivera did an excellent job in helping me with the purchase of a new 2015 Honda CR-V. This was my first Honda purchase and Agustin was patient in answering all my questions. I'd never bought or leased from Planet before, but I've had both my Hondas serviced there, both for the reputation and proximity of the service department. My previous sales experiences there had been less then stellar. This time around, that all changed. I went in torn between two models, and Jeremy eagerly and patiently helped me arrive at a decision, putting up with much waffling on my part. Once I reached a decision, we arrived at a mutually agreeable lease deal, and he walked me through the paperwork. What usually is a long, protracted, and highly unenjoyable process became (relatively) painless and easy. When the time comes to replace my other Honda, my first call will be to Jeremy, to see what kind of magic he can work for me.

I just purchased my new 2015 Honda CR-V. I am definitely in love with my new vehicle. This car drives very smooth, it is excellent in gas.
