My 1st experience with a different Rep at Plaza Toyota was not good. He made me feel rushed and seemed more concerned about my rating on the survey than my car. My car was purchased & usually serviced at Toyota of Manhattan. Eventhough I didn't like my first visit at your Brooklyn location I returned this week to do my inspection. Kelly was friendly, personable and professional. She didn't try to force me to add on anything extra. She also didn't mention the survey which I loved. Due to my interaction with Kelly I would return. Only when she is available. Side note: Toyota of Manhattan doesn't rate their employees on surveys and they still provide EXCELLENT customer service. I think your survey program needs to be revised and not linked to wages or compensation unless it's a bonus. Find a different reward program for your staff and they will focus more on the actual customers. Normally I don't respond to surveys at all but I'm doing it because you need to know you have a gem for an employee named Kelly. If you don't find a better way to reward your employees you'lol lose them.

It was easy to get an appointment online and the schedule was very flexible. One at Plaza I worked with Michael and for drop off, status and pick up. It was a smooth process, no complaints. He caught a recall that was announced and the part was in stock which was great. Overall very happy and will be back in the future!

Dropped my car off in am and it was ready in a couple of hours.Drop off and write up procedures are much faster than in the past. An improvement can be made in the pick up procedures - usually wait too long and need to tell the cashier to call for the car more than once.I never received the report on the multipoint inspection.

My sales person was Tarek Hussein. He seemed very friendly and patient with me. He was very helpful and understanding so i thought. They sold me a Toyota Corolla 2015 LE for 16,210 when the online price for the same exact vehicle and Vin # was 11,284. Another paper shows unit price 14,075. I didn't realise all of that until I went home and read all the paperwork. I came in with a capital one auto loan offer but the Finance Guy convinced me that their offer was better. He didn't show me any proof. I was there for 5hrs with my 4yr old son and he was acting up and I was ready to just go. But I really needed a car. Im regretting my decision because they only care about making a profit. How could they lie and take advantage of me. I would not recommend anyone doing business with them. Make sure to read before you sign. Do not trust them.

I WAS THERE BECAUSE MY MAINTENANCE LIGHT IS UP, WHEN I CAME, THE SERVICE GUY TOLD ME HE DID NOT SEE MY APPOINTMENT FOR A CHANGE OF OIL. HE ASKS ME WHEN THE LAST TIME I DID SERVICE ON THE CAR. I DID TELL HIM I WAS IN SC THIS YEARAND DID 30.000 MILES SERVICE: THE ODOMETER READ 36.340 MILES, NOW THE ODOMETER READS 41440 MILES. HE INSISTS HE DOES NOT SEE THE COMUTER OF THE OTHER DEALER, I NEED MAJOR SERVICE FOR $649. NOT EVEN THAT I CAME TO YOUR DEALER AND DID ALMOST THE SAME SERVICE, THEY DID. NOT COST ME $649 HE DID COST ME ABOUT $200, THAT WAS ON 9/23/2014 THE READOMETER WAS 25364 MILES. THEY SAID THEY DO A MULTIPOINT SERVICE ON THE CAR, THEY DONT EVEN GIVE ME A REPORT BUT THE LAST TIME I WAS THERE THEY DID. I AM VERY DISASTIFIED WITH THE SERVICE NOW.

My trip to Plaza Auto Mall started off a little rocky. The actual Toyota sales building was under construction so it was a little difficult to find a sales rep for Toyota. After finding one I was able to get the car I saw on sale on the website at the price it was shown at. It took the Salesman who seemed a little under informed compared to other salespersons I've dealt with in the past som time to find the car for a test drive. After being satisfied with the vehicle, the long wait began. The process seemed very disjointed. Several hours later, without guarantee about the financing, I first had to buy insurance, got registration and plates and then waiting even longer to see the finance manager. After finding out I was approved for the financing I was quoted for, and signing tons of paperwork, 5 hours later I was driving away with the car I wanted at the right price. Only issue I did have was I didn't receive the full tank of gas I was suppose to (luckily My new Toyota Prius is highly gas efficient) so may sure you check before leaving. Overall It was a good but not great experience. My advice know what you want before coming.

You service area wanted to charge me more than double (over $600) for simple fluid addition because you wanted to drain all the fluid first which is totally unnecessary. Second you mechanics totally missed my broken rear shock absorber which could have caused additional damage to my car. It was not something that just happen a few days ago. There was a huge buildup of road dirt sticking to the leaking fluid on the absorber that the naked eye could see including me. I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this. The incompetence is more serious in my mind than the attempted rippoff. You can kill people for such poor performance

DO NOT PAY FOR THE DMV PLATES, TITLE, AND REGISTRATION NO MATTER WHAT!!! Go to the DMV yourself. After paying hundreds of dollars for this dealership to provide this service, it took over a month for me to receive them. As a result, I was unable to drive my car because of the expired temporary plates. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP!! I would hate for this to happer to someone else. Worst experience I ever had as a car buyer. READ EVERYTHING VERY CAREFULLY! THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!

I am a long term customer at Plaza Automall. I've met wth many different advisors since I've owned my 2007 Corolla. Some of these advisors were great but too many were just ordinary. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Jimmy Michel, he was pleasant and personable. I'm always uneasy about the servicing of my car, as I always wonder how much will the repairs cost. I knew I needed quite a bit of work on my car. Jimmy explained everything that I needed done and why. He was very patient with me and really made sure I was comfortable and understood everything he said. He even introduced me to the mechanic that would be working on my car. He was also pleasant and informative. I really felt I was in good hands! Jimmy called me at my home to Keep me abreast of other issues that were found by the mechanic. He even stayed late so he could be there when I picked up my car. I love it when people go the extra mile! Basically, Jimmy knows how to treat a customer and this customer really appreciated it!

Some of the employees were very insensitive to the customers waiting on line for service. Cars were double parked which prevented drivers waiting to enter the service area an adequate lane to enter. Traffic was backed up and interrupted on both sides of the street. Of the the years I've gone to plaza auto mall, this was the worst and I want to do whatever necessary to never experience anything like this again

Confusion dominated the entire process. We were brought down to this dealer far from our home, only to find out that the car we were promised through a buying service did not exist. We were then given limited/misleading information throughout the ensuing negotiation. While we ultimately negotiated a satisfactory compromise , it was not an easy process. This experience serves to reinforce my dislike of the car buying process.

We hear of pressure tactics and aggressive behavior causing purchase of things you do not need.Well my experience was to say the least a very comfortable one indeed. I was treated with dignity and respect. All questions answered politely. Most of all not made to feel silly. I was asked what I needed in a vehicle and what I would like. A balance was met in line with my budget. This was a stress free environment.

On Friday 8/12/16 I took my 2013 Toyota RAV4 with 15,239 miles for a routine oil change and NYS inspection. After about 2 hours I inquired about my car and was told the inspection couldn't be done because of a nail in one of my tires and "low" brakes (?) and it would cost me $789.00 to remove the nail, fix the brakes and do the inspection and that would take another hour! I told him to forget it just do the oil change and get me my car. Something is very wrong with this picture. There is nothing wrong with my brakes. I believe they were trying to make money that day. I won't be going back there to buy a car or service the one I have!!

I would recommend to go see Phil when ur looking into buying a car. He was very helpful. he communicated very well and explained all that I needed. When I walked into Toyota I was passed off to Phil via another dealer. Blessing in disguise. From the moment I met Phil, I knew I was in good hands. I was a single hardworking mother buying my first car from a dealership I was terrified. Immediately after shaking his hand, and exchanging names , I said this. Phil I really need your help. I am putting all my trust in you. I hoping you won't take advantage of me or my situation. He said with direct eye contact. "Monique I am gonna do everything in my power to help you. Let me tell you he did just that... from that moment till the moment I drove off the lot. You just don't meet people like this nowadays. Especially people that for lack of a better term, your at their mercy. I never doubted a thing he told me. By the grace of God after running my credit , I was granted a loan. (My credit sucks). After going over my budget somemore we decided to go with a 2016 Toyota Camry SE. Now let me tell you I was driving a 2000 Chevy Malibu that was on it's last leg a year ago. Finally after overheating and getting stuck on the road for the last time I decided it was time to let Bessie go. I trusted everything he said and am not sorry. I wanted a sunroof... He said nope you can't afford it. " you gotta crawl before you can walk, remember you have no down payment" I wanted black he said nope Cosmic is a great color, and you'll love it. Cosmic is a kinda blue/black color... It's gorgeous. P.s. I love it,,. Lol.It was a Sunday so I had to come back the next day for certain paperwork. Phil said I'll call you by 10 am... My new car arrived at 3:30.Now here is the greatest:- I got $1000 for my 2000 Chevy-I got a $2500 rebate- I paid 0 down- Nothing out of pocket- They even factored in Registration, inspection, and put my old plates on my car saving me a trip to Dmv.- washed/vacuumed it- they included a full tank of gasPhil walked a block away in the rain, got my old car and parked it next to the new. He did that so I could transfer my belonging out of Bessie before she went to Chevy Heaven. I watched this man walk back and fourth in the pouring rain to help me. I signed my papers , it was a done deal Phil then went outside with me and gave me a step by step tutorial. Remember Bessie had no Bluetooth or backup cam. Let me say this... My payments are heavy.. Listen ... That's just a burden of having bad credit....my fault.But I have piece of mind.i don't have to worry about breaking down or overheating anymore. I'm just grateful I found both Toyota and Phil. I'm gonna tell everyone I can about my experience with Toyota. After a year of making payments and working on my credit, I'll be back. Toyota for life. Peter was efficient, friendly, and very helpful. Outstanding! Make sure he is appreciated so I can call on him next time. The only missing link is the period between "your car is ready" and "driving away" and that is a systems issue, not a Peter problem. If the car is ready and the paperwork is complete, give it to the people who collect the money so there is no searching for the service rep., hanging around waiting for someone to pick up the paperwork and get your car. This could be made more efficient by having to deal only with the office staff. I moved here from Richmond, VA--and that's how it's done at McGeorge Toyota. Give them a call. It'll make a big difference in the congestion around the service entrance.

He told me come the following Monday so he can have a mechanic take care of everything. I was there bright and early on Monday was greeted by Kelly Ann (nice smile). I let her know I saw Albert the previous Friday. She took my car in and said he would see me as he got in. Their team work is fantastic, and I mean the entire place. Bought it in 2010 at Plaza and we've been very happy with it since. I believe it has been running well because of the maintenance it's received at Plaza service. Jimmy was very friendly, but I could tell he needs more experience. With time I think he can be an outstanding employee for you. Of course I was surprised that our Toyota needed so much work since it had been running smoothly for the past year. I guess a car is like the human body, you never know what's going on inside. That's OK, but I found the labor charge (which was $706, while the parts were $168) a little on the high side.Even so, I'll be bringing it in again in August for the State Inspection.

Initially we worked with 2 different salesmen that were not so nice. I planned on taking my business elsewhere, even though Plaza is so convenient to my home. I came back due to Jasmine's decency and persistence. At that point we started working with Oscar. He was a gentleman, knowledgeable, professional, and honest. Oscar had Anthony draw up the contract. Anthony, also was a pleasure to work with. When I picked up the car I met the Business manager (can't remember his name) and another gentleman who prepared, and explained the car to me. When I went to this dealership for service a couple of years ago, I had to wait for over an hour just to talk to someone and tell them what I wanted to have done to my car; and I couldn't even change my mind about staying, because they had already taken my car! However, I needed to get service performed for two recalls, so after procrastinating for several months due to my previous atrocious experience, I reluctantly went online and booked an appointment to go back. When I arrived for my appointment this week, Kelly met me at my car as soon as I pulled up to the service entrance and cheerfully took my information and service requests, checked in my car, and quickly got me over to the courtesy shuttle for a ride home. I was in and out, and frankly I was shocked! Night and day difference - for the better! Once my service needs were further diagnosed, Kelly called me herself to explain what needed to be done and she patiently listened while I adjusted what I would approve in order to keep my costs manageable.There was a glitch with the courtesy car being sent out to pick me up after my car was done, so I did not get to the dealership to pick up my car until almost closing time. To my great surprise, Kelly met me herself. This was nearly 11 hours after Kelly had checked me in - and Kelly had waited for me. That's like going the extra mile plus!Kudos for your improvements - and for hiring Kelly!

My time was 1.15 was seen at 1.40 . 4.25 hours for normal maintenance and two tires. The waiting room could use an upgrade and the wifi password could be more noticeable. The place seems very busy with everyone trying hard not to stress and why is there a constant turn over of advisors In three years I have never had the same one twice.

After leaving my car over night I had to call about 3 hrs after your business open next day..Customer need to be update maybe every 15-30 min depending on the service. Customers vihicle should get an external wash after service. This is the second time I had to bring to the attention of the advisor that all cosmetic parts weren't, be replace.

Oil change and state inspection....should not take 3.5 -4 hours with an appointment !!! Not only is there no one who wants to help you and zero communication. You have to track down someone and then they act like you're annoying them just to get help?? when I asked what was taking so long after the "couple of minutes" they said at hour 2...I had to keep waiting I was told they were Just starting it!! After 3.5hours my car wasNot even started? When I said that is ridiculous the response I got from "John " was ..." Lots of things are ridiculous. "Are you kidding me? How about sorry and we should give an accurate estimate about length of time. Never ever going back here.

Other then how busy the street they're positioned on I have no problems with this dealership. When ever my car needs servicing it's done fast and they are very polite. I've been using this dealership for years and have seen a great deal of change some of it good and some of it not. Service, for me has always been a hit or miss. During my last visit I spent 4hrs waiting just to get an update on how long it would take for someone just look at my car. That's not great customer service!!! Once I got a report on what needed to be done on my car and when it would be ready then things speed up but it was a while before that happened. I live in Bedstuy and despite being a long time customer I still have to negoitate to get the shuttle service which then forces me to wait to find out when and if I can get my car. I was offered and received a loaner which was greatly appreciated. For future reference, it would be helpful to give a custormer an idea of the wait so they can make better decisions on how to use their time when waiting for service. Frustrated long time customer

My cigarette lighter fuse blew so I came in for service. Wasn't sure it was covered under my warranty. Found out it was the car adapter that I bought blew out the fuse. The sales advisor, Alan , said this will be fixed but please don't use those adapters anymore otherwise I won't be covered the next time for this problem. I was very happy that this took place. I highly recommend plaza automall to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I was in for my 2 year or 20,000 mile service on my 2003 RAV4 last Sat. Alan greeted me like a professionally, asked me if I needed anything else so I told him about noises in the rear over bumps. His team did the maint, check out the car and order the rear shock for me. The service was done quickly and Alan just called and said the shock is in we just made an apt. Overall, I am very happy with the car and this service department.

I had received a recall notice from Toyota instructing me to call dealers and schedule an appointment. I called Lee's Toyota and they told me that they were not participating. It was all different at Plaza Toyota. They took me in, explained the process, got the parts and scheduled me for an appt. Work was done in hours that same day. I could not be happier. The attendant, Rachel was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional.My appointment was for 7am and was told when I was in the waiting area that the mechanics do not start working until 8pm. I wasn't told that when I made the appointment. I arrived before 7am, waited in the street until about 7:18am, then cars were called to pull into the service area. My car was finished just before 9am..Also, the waiting area could be a little nicer.

Manal sold me my vehicle almost two years ago. She was an amazing sales woman. She was informative and honest. I appreciated her perfessionalism when she sold me my car. I am a woman and I felt so comfortable with Manal. She listened well and she was able to meet my needs. I had no intentions of getting a new car the day I met Manal, and the next thing I knew... I was driving out of Plaza with a brand new car at an excellent price. I couldn't resist the deal. Recently I went back to Plaza with some questions and I saw Manal. She actually remembered me. Wow! She took care of me and answered all of my questions. She was still just as wonderful and as professional as the day we met. After having all of my questions answered.... I felt good!!! Total wait time was an hour which was very much appreciated since I was only able to make the appt. the night before. (Also, for those outside of NYC, an hour is considered quick due to the number of people who have cars here.)

This guy came in and just wanted to shove a car down my throat had to ask him who his name was because he didn't even have the class to introduce himself. Not to mention that he must have taken at least 4 calls on his personal cell phone. On one instance he told an apparent customer that right in front of me that he doesn't give money back. "I will take your money but I won't give it back." What a loser.Forget about a test drive his qualifier was, "you're already familiar with the car right"? Then he demanded my I.D which I gave to him. Total ghetto never ever ever do business with this dealer or this sales person. Unless you are a masochist and like to be treated like crap. I brought my vehicle for recalls and 15000 miles maintenance service. Repeated a couple times what I need. In three days they finished recalls, but no maintenance at all. Had to go to another body shop to change oil. The staff is quiet unfriendly, no signs where to pick the vehicle. I asked a guy in the small office how to pick up the car, he said he will be with me in a moment and never left his desk. I was staying and waiting for someone to help, but nobody paid attention. No idea about their names since nobody in introducing themselves when you drop off or pick up the car. Never, never again!

After the service Technician finish working on my vehicle, I ask the advisor. if my car is finish and he said he is waiting on the technician (untrue). I walked to the parking area and saw my vehicle parked up with other vehicle blocking it. They did that to charge me more for labor. The work that got done on my vehicle should not cost $400.00 for labor. My time at the service station is from 7:00 am-11:00am.

This dealership is great on trying to please there customers. We were difficult since we wanted a specific type a car they had but not in the same color and same year so they were able to give us a better car so instead of a 2015 Toyota 4 Runner we got a 2016 Toyota 4 Runner with all leather seats. Since they had to get it from a different dealership we did have to wait a few days to get it but it was worth the wait.

I am incredibly happy with my service experience. The service advisor, Alan, kept me informed every step of the way and my vehicle was repaired earlier than expected! The technician repaired my vehicle perfectly, topped off all of my fluids, put air in my tires, performed a multi point inspection on it and did not leave one dirty finger print! However, at this place I was able to purchase my car the same day, fast and no headaches. The employees were VERY friendly. I've always been satisfied with my service experience at Plaza Toyota. Have never had and issue and this is my 6th year using them to service my last 2 leases. I did have a minor billing error where a $20 oil change coupon was not removed from my invoice but the service manager Robert Brown resolved it very quickly for me. He was professional and courteous and made me feel valued. It was the first time I worked with him at Plaza and I look forward to working with him again. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

This time my Salesman was Eric Roseboro. He is a great guy who works hard with you to make your vehicle affordable. He understands that selling a vehicle is a process which requires Patience and Understanding. My finance associate was Jack Bankson who was also great, He very clearly explained the financial end of the deal to me and answered all my concerns professionally. Overall, I actually enjoyed buying my vehicle. I left the dealership feeling I received a reasonable deal which makes driving my new sienna even more enjoyable. ALAN MOK was superbly helpful, knowledgable, completely comfortable and easy to work with. I've had long-term relationships with advisors since 2001 when I always had my 2001 Toyota serviced at Plaza. After they moved on, the last being Arnie Kravits, I had terrible experiences with inconsiderate, inarticulate, nasty advisers who were markedly unhelpful. ALAN MOK fulfilled his role perfectly and I dearly hope that he will be there when I come again in 3 months for further service. Because my recent experience was so negative I had been looking for a different place for service. Having experienced ALAN MOK, I will gladly and enthusiastically return for my next service appointment--but I only want to deal with him.

I brought my car in for an inspection and for them to look at the front brakes since I felt some shimmering in the front on hard stops. I was welcomed and the car was taken in o the shop at about 8 AM on 10/23/15. About 30 minutes later I was called to the service adviser's office and told that there was a lot that needed to be done. We looked over the list and settled on what had to be done. I was told it should be ready in about 2 hours. I said I would wait which should be about 10:30 AM. Around 11:20 AM, after almost 3 hours of waiting, I went to the service adviser and asked about my car. He said it was done but he had to do the paper work. He showed it to me under a lot of other customer's paper work. After another 20 minutes (11:40 AM), I went back in and asked again. He said the same thing. I asked if he could do the paperwork of those people waiting for their cars versus those who were coming back at the end of the day. When the time reached noon, I asked one of the other adviser's where the manager's office was. I went to it and my service adviser, John, was in the manager's office. I did not want to talk to him in front of the manager. I have been coming to Plaza for many years with other cars also. Finally John left and the manager came out of his office. I explained the situation. He said John was new and needed his help to do the paperwork, but he was too busy to help him. So I had waited an hour for my bill to be done because of this. Then after I paid my bill it took another 20 minutes to have them bring my car up. And now the last issue. When I got in my car to drive away, I turned to put the paperwork on the passenger seat and there was a full cup of black coffee that was left on my middle console by the driver. Just as I turned, it fell on the console. I grabbed it and there was minimal spillage. I don't think your drivers should be bringing food or beverages into customer's cars.

I was not told about my Financial deal till the last moment and then lured in to a very high APR. I was told that I have no other options other than go with the deal offered. The agent Mr Dexter Thompson had excellent knowledge of car and very professional in his approach but financial manager was extremely pushy and did not give me more than one option. I wanted to window shop and price a few cars I was interested in . As we approached, it started to drizzle. There was no available parking so I rolled down the window and glanced around. A gentleman, with his lunch in his hands was darting in the door and when he saw me lower my window, asked if I needed help. I explained I wanted to look around but needed parking. He orifice himself, told me to wait for him, returned in about half a minute and walked in the rain to secure a spot for me. He then became my salesperson! Shahar was able to answer all my questions,especially those dealing with pros and cons of each vehicle, showed me various vehicles, and secure me a cup of coffee! I was able to drive off in my new purchase. He was extremely patient and I'd recommend him to anyone!

Marie communicated with me excellently. However, the rest of the organization lost the customer and the service. Why should I have to call for complementary shuttle service in which I have to be transferred numerous times to schedule the pick up. I also had to call more than once to get the pickup. Then, after paying for services rendered it took another hour to get my car. No one ever communicated to me that there was a problem until Marie explained what happened. The final straws that added insult to injury: 1 my sticker on my windshield that deals with my tires and nothing to do with Toyota was removed; 2 the seat cover, foot mat and my service tag were crumpled up and left in my car on the seat like I was unworthy to have such removed and 3 I received this survey in my email before I even received my car. I have been calling your dealership since I left with my car and I am either getting voicemail or I was left on hold for over an hour waiting to speak to a manager. I'm thoroughly disgusted.

This vehicle was represented as never having been in an accident. It was CLEARLY in an accident bad enough to rip out the splash shields under the engine, in one wheel well, and damage the splash shield in the other wheel well.The salesman, Aron Chervin, claims that because this does not appear on the carfax report, this damage does not exist. It most certainly does exist and will cost me over $1000.00 to have it fixed.Next Plaza Motors wants to claim that it can all be fixed on the cheap and that I am EXTORTING them for money. I have all of this in writing, as I have saved every email between my self and the salesman.If a car dealership takes a car as a trade in and does not inspect it, and even a cursory inspection would have revealed this damage to any self respecting mechanic, then they should not be licensed to sell cars in NY State.

Being at the Toyota Dealership at Nostrand was my worst experience EVER! After wasting 2 hours of my time, I gave them a price of what I wanted to pay for a 2015 Sienna. The sales person goes that could be doable. Since it's near the AVERAGE price for it. Manager comes out and told me he could only give it to me for the MSRP...and MAYBE $400 off. I felt insulted. I'm like truecar.com says AVG is $30K and you're telling me I need to pay MSRP of $32,500? and MAYBE $400 off? This is not the first time I bought a car. After a whole lecture of what MSRP and average price is going out, please don't try to sell the car to me at full price. By the way, they need to know what the word "average mean". If average price is $30,000 that means people are buying it from $32,000 to $28,000. and you're telling me I need to pay $32,500? no thank you.

Due to his interaction with us we ended up becoming good friends. He reassured us that anything we need we can call on him. He interact with my husband and even with my kids very well. Every time we go for service we always stop in and say hi and he will always ask about the entire family. This people are good for nothing, i had a recall from toyota on Air Bag module.and took my car there to fix the recall, 2 days after i had 3 different light came on on my dash board, when i google it it says it is caused by the air bag module. i had to pay $589.76. they are good for nothing but a reap off, they added to the problem,so that they can make some more money out of people

Worst experience Ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!found a Toyota camry for 15588$ at this dealer, emailed to verify posting at 5am, I had a call from the first sales person who said the posting is right.called again at 11am talked to sales person Jay, asked him if they will honor the price previously posted since the price was changed to almost 20,000, he replied by yes and he assured me that the car is in good conditions.I live in Frederick MD, took me about 7 hours to get there, after which the manager is telling me somebody had put money down on the car which is still in the lot, but he is willing to sell it to me for 18,500.Lies, lies, lies The car is still listed for sale on cars.com for 19,988.I will never deal with them again and if you do proceed with precautions

I had to trade in my 2013 Scion FR-S to get a more practical car because I just got a baby.David worked really hard to give me a good deal on the 2014 Corolla + my trade in value, and beat the offer I got from "Toyota of Manhattan" - excellent dealership as well - where I bought the FR-S back in may 2012 and did all the mechanical maintenance and inspection.David did not pressure me at all, he actually tried his best to understand my needs in terms of car model, options, and lease terms.The dealership is supposed to close at 5PM on Sunday, but David and Tony stayed late until 8PM to make sure all the paperwork was done and the car ready so I could drive it home the same day.Very professional and courteous, I highly recommend this dealership, and don't forget, ask for David Lau or Tony Yao.

I has an appointment with the dealer on 9:30 am sat morning. Once when I walk in I was greet by their friendly staff Sunny. She help me on my selections and arrange a test drive right away. After we went back to the dealership she start use her professional knowledge to help me though the paperwork. I was out of the dealership's door by 1:00 pm with my brand new leasing Toyota Carmy. I purchased a used vehicle in 2009 and was pressured into buying an extended warrantee since I got such a "great price." I was entitled to a 13% refund on the unused portion upon selling the car. I have triedTHREE SEPARATE TIMES TO GET MY MONEY BACK but each time either the transaction wasn't processed or was entered incorrectly. The manager has yet to call me despite several requests. I currently lease a Toyota from there but will end the lease early just so this dealership doesn't get a penny more from me!

My experience was for the most part a good one. I was recommended by my son to come to this dealer and see Steve Shimel. He was a pleasure to work with. The part of the experience that was upsetting to me was not being told what the steps were and thinking I was meeting with someone to go over the car and all the features after meeting with Karl and doing the financing. Then we were brought up to the front desk where a woman who was very disinterested in working said she would call Adrian because he was up next. I thought Adrian was going to show us the car and features and we were taken into another room to talk about the payments. This was extremely misleading and was more time consuming and could of been taken care of with Karl. Unfortunately at that point we were pretty upset at feeling misled and like this was a sales tactic to sign up for something else which it was. Not that it might not of been in my best interest to do it and shave off some time but I am still paying a service fee which you are making money off of. So basically my experience was a good one but I felt the communication was lacking between Karl in finance and Adrian - Don't make me think we are doing one thing and pull me into a room to do another. Also the process is too long. Three hours to come and pick up my new car which wasn't eve gassed up. Also when I went to first see cars etc. that process was too many hours long unfortunately the people ahead of us had bad credit and it was taking too long.We are very happy with the car and the experience in general. Adrian & Steve were very informative and a pleasure to work with.

The service we received was excellent. We were greater as soon as we walked in the door. Everyone was busy with other coustomers so we were told to look around and someone would be right with us. With in 5 min Karen came and helped us. She was very personable and found us exactly what we were looking for. Loved the fact that Plaza Toyota is an All in One Dealership. Karen walked us through every step, from insurance, financing, et al. She even took care of the registration and DMV for us. Jamal was excellent with financing and found us an excellent loan at a great rate. Having an insurance broker on premises also was great for us.The found us a great insurance plan.To Finish up Adrian M. walked us through all the features of the car and helped us set up some of them. He was Friendly and knowledgeable. He even showed us a few things we didn't know we were getting. We never expected to drive off in our new car same day and thanks to Plaza Toyota WE DID!!!! I don't think I will go anywhere else for a car ever again.

Me and my wife came here to by our first car, and we were expecting we would need go to many dealerships to find the right car for the right price but we were sooo wrong we were able to really quickly find the car we were 100% sure about and with a great deal im only 23 so my credit history isnt bad but its a very short history but Antonio made sure to get me approved to finance a brand new 2013 honda accord and as my first car i couldnt be happier! Malik helped me pick the car with the perfect features and rims and color for me. he also helped me gather all the paperwork i needed to get approved for financing. he didnt pressure me to buy any car he was just informative and helpful and even though it was late and freezing outside Angel showed me all the features and helped setup all of my settings. it was overall a great experience i would recommend everyone to come to plaza auto mall.

But when my vehicle was being checked in he came and said hello and told me he is now assitant manager and over looks the work in the shop, and don't worry he will make sure my car gets done fast and the right way, which made me happy. Extremely unprofessional and poorly organized. After spending almost an hour on phone w/ a sales professional, I went to showroom and the sales people had no record of me speaking to their staff-was forced to repeat everything from initial phone call to a sales trainee who knew very little about the cars or pricing. When I expressed my frustration about the service Oscar Soto raised his voice at me as if the problem was my fault. Mr Soto, as well as the whole experience, was like a parody of buying from a used car salesman xxxx-bent on giving you the "bait and switch" treatment.

I have been trying to locate the person I originally conducted business with but an annoying woman keeps returning my calls. I would not recommend my worst enemy to this dealership. Antonio was an absolute doll in walking me through everything I needed to know about my newly acquired vehicle. I have a family of Toyota Camry's, but this acquisition was my first new one, or my first leased one for that matter. When going through the final stages of the process, Antonio walked me and my daughter through every nook and cranny, making sure we understood every piece of paper I put my signature to as well as all the things I was and was not entitled to as a holder of this lease. He made sure that we were on the same page, and stopped to reiterated anything that we were unsure about. Brought my car for service after collision. The car was relocated to another body shop without my consent, and they were trying to hide it, saying all repairs were done in toyota body shop. When got the car back, there were dots of paint from spray everywhere on the car, the trunk was scratched all over the place, Paul and his colleague were rude and used inappropriate jokes about my accent (English is not my first language). Thought I could trust Toyota, not any more! Awful service!

When I went into Plaza Toyota my intention was to lease a Corolla. All I needed was a car that was fuel efficient and reliable. Now, having lots of prior experience buying cars, I completely anticipated that my sales person would try to up-sell me into something more expensive once I disclosed my income. It had happened to me before, so I came prepared to deflect any notions of buying anything other than what was comfortable for me. Surprisingly, my assumption was totally wrong! James Lalanne listened to me, provided a good amount of information about the Corolla, took me for a test drive, and most important to me; he never suggested I consider a different Toyota! When I switched to the financing part and had to deal with Antonio Figueroa, my experice was even more comfortable. His personality was approachable and eased my anxieties regarding the costs and monthly payment. He was thorough in explaining the details! And, considering my credit was questionable with some negative items, Antonio reassured me that the deal could be done... Well, he delivered! I left the same day with my new Corolla, a full tank of gas, and a very very good feeling that I was taken care of. ***Good job, Plaza Toyota!!

I started searching for my new car in September. I was looking for a 2013 RAV4. To my dismay, Nana told me that they had not come out yet. I returned in May to bring my 2005 Camry for an oil change. While waiting, I decided to visit the showroom. I asked for Nana because I remembered his demeanor when I visited previously. I also asked for a test drive of the new RAV4. We walked in Plaza Toyota a few minutes after they opened on a Monday and Mr. Nana Sono, who was talking to another sales person stood up and meet us. He explained everything about the vehicle we wanted - Toyota Sienna. We let him enumerate the features, safety and standards not because we wanted to be impressed or that we don't know but because we want to know how sincere and truthful he is in the explanations. Then, we wanted to know the most important fact: the NUMBERS. Honestly, we already had previously knowledge on the numbers and our expectations are already set. We came in with a so-so trade in vehicle with a huge upside down. We still sat in there pretending we were naive and excited to drive a new vehicle. We were supposed to go to New Jersey that day and meet with the dealer we spoke to who offered us the best deal but with some cash out. So we informed Nana that we want to drive out with a new Sienna with no money down. After inspecting our trade-in, contacting our lien holder, etc. he asked if he can give us the better deal we can do business with him. I dreaded that part. I knew what that means: if you say yes then you are screwed and it's hard to get out. Nana looked at me in the eye and promised to even take out part of his just to make the deal with me. And boy, he actually delivered much more than we expected. We came out of the dealership 5 hours later not even knowing it was already five hours. Nana made us feel comfortable and spoke to us as if we were best of friends. He even toured us around the dealership, service and parts area and introduced us to anyone from the techs to the managers. We felt like we belong to the Toyota family even if this is our first Toyota vehicle. The hours just went by so fast! When we got home, our friends asked us the numbers (of course) and we were so proud to say a little over a hundred a month, the same exact insurance premium as before and we are driving a new Toyota Sienna. They were so amazed that we were able to pull it through with no money down. If anyone is looking for a new ride you can drop by Plaza Toyota and look for Nana Sono. It may sound like Nana paid us something to write good about himself. YES he did. He paid us with his EXCELLENT SERVICE and FAMILY-oriented approach to the bad side of business!!!!

I found Greg to be knowledgeable,, friendly. He worked with me on the price, options, He went the extra mile to save me time and aggrevation.even before I picked up the car. He called the Insurance company before I got there to help cut down the waiting time. The car was ready to go when I arrived.When I picked up my new 2013 Corolla LE he patiently showed me how to operate the radio, Bluetooth items, phone, etc. He listed all the extras (free maintenance service, etc). and even set up my first appointment in four months! I even got a phone call from the dealership while I was on the way home, and Greg told me to keep his phone # so that I could call with any problems. I felt no pressure to buy.The gentleman with the financing was very patient and efficient. I found this to be a very pleasant experience.

Worst Toyota experience ever! I leased a car from them 3 years ago, first they made returning my lease the most difficult experience ever. I no longer live in NY and when I tried to contact someone I was given every run around you could think of. When I came in to return my lease and finance a new car I received one price with all the bells and whistles, they ordered my car, I paid a $500 deposit (non refundable). I returned to the dealership when my car was ready and the price went up. Convenient that they didn't write my details in the agreement and told me all this after I paid the deposit. They did not answer my texts after our deal started going bad. So I shopped around, and it turned out they gave me the worst/most expensive deal. I took my service to Bay Ridge Toyota and it was a major difference in my experience. So now I am out $500, which isn't even the worst part, a month after all this has happened I receive a letter stating the "damages" and "missing keys" from my leased car. This is all after I signed a paper from my sales person after he looked at the car and stated the car looks great. THIS DEALERSHIP WILL DO ANYTHING TO SCREW YOU OVER AND MAKE YOU REGRET GOING THERE EVER!!!! I took great care of my leased car, and not to mention returned everything from the keys to the mats. I can't believe a company would allow someone to represent them in such a manner. Makes me regret ever leasing a car with Toyota. If I can save one person from this experience I will be happy!!!!!

Mr. Sono was very friendly and I almost got the car I wanted. I had researched my car very carefully and knew exactly what features I wanted. In fact, I had a written list of the features I wanted with my car and I did not get one of them. Possibly, Mr. Sono could have been more careful in his processing of my request, but I now have to either go back to the dealership to get this item, or try to order it online. For the fact that I repeated to him many times during our deal that I wanted the tourneau cover in the cargo hold and did not in the end get it, prevents me from giving him straight 5 ratings. When you are very clear about what you want and instead of getting the thing you requested, you get many (entertaining) stories about salesmanship, you do not walk away from the sale totally happy. It also took 6 1/2 hours(!) to complete the sale and he never once offered us a snack or water. Another salesman even asked us if we wanted anything because we had been at the dealership all day, but Mr. Sono did not seem overly concerned with my or my young daughter's comfort. But he was honest about his price although other dealers probably would have added more accessories with the price we paid. Overall, if you want to do business here, shop around and go into the sale with your price set. And if you do a trade-in, do your research and figure out what your car is worth first and stick to your amount. I was offered $500 less than the car's worth, but Mr. Sono, very nicely, gave me back the $500 in the sale price. So I give the overall experience a 4.5.

A few Years ago I bought a problem from Plaza Auto Mall and vowed never to return to this dealership because my efforts to have the issue resolved were met with a lot of rebuffs and scorn. I was even asked to pay for the repairs to the defective vehicle that I bought. However, as I was browsing on line, I saw a vehicle on the Plaza Auto Mall website and just filled out the inquiry form for laughs. It was my intention to schedule an appointment and never show up based on my experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the professional nature of the call from Mr. Jay Finisterre Contact Center Representative. He did not attempt to sell me any cars but listened to my horrible experience and asked me to reconsider shopping at Plaza Auto Mall. When I visited on Saturday June 30, 2012, I was met by Sales Manager Angelo Sciascia who took the time to listen to me before assigning Sales Representative Oscar Soto to me. Oscars patience and knowledge was exemplary. Throughout the process, Jay kept in contact with me via telephone. I left the dealership a very satisfied customer and have since called my friends and encouraged them to visit Plaza Auto Mall. My experience this time far exceeded the previous horrible one. Even though Jay Finisterre remained a voice on the phone,he along with Angelo and especially Oscar made my visit worthwhile. Kudos to the afore mentioned gentlemen.

I went into this dealership to look and price and I a sales person who made me feel at home and who was able to have me drive out of this dealership in a new car after trading mine in. Maged told me not to look only why don't I check out getting a new car. I said no he said yes and then the process began and he did it all and he is great at his job and he makes you feel at home.He is an asset to this team and thank to the general manager and finanical manager it all worked out.Thank Maged Gerges.

I was met by Mr. Gerges at Plaza Auto Mall . He did a great job in finalizing the deal to terminate my current lease of Toyota Venza and start a new lease for a Toyota Highlander. From the second I drove in for service I was approached with Courteous Knowledgable and Caring personnel. Mr Earl Daniel, one of the new Service Advisors introduced himself, and asked what I needed to have done. Most of this was already on his computer from my calling in the night before to make the appointment. Everything that I asked to be done was accomplished. As a Matter of fact I forgot to ask that an Inspection be Performed and when I went back to ask the Advisor he took care of it right away. Mr Mike Alvarez, the Toyota Service Manager, recognized me and came over to say hello and asked if everything was OK. I said everything and everyone were wonderful. The Lounge area where I wait for the car to be serviced is very clean and has Vending Machines and free Donuts for all customers. Every person of the staff that I met during my Service experience, was Informative, Knowledgeable and Polite. In my overall experience, I felt that everyone couldn't do enough for me. The price of the service was excellent, because I heve free service as a result of my purchasing the 2011 Toyota Avalon. This is my fifth Toyota Avalon, in about 17 and 1/2 years. Nano was extremely helpful and patient. He took me to have my car checked by my relative who could not leave his job to come to the Plaza. He arranged a comfortable payment arrangement with me and fixed all minor problems that were observed ie: loose emblem on front hood and replaced missing fuse box cover without hesitation. It was the friendliest experience I have ever had at a car dealership. I came in to trade in my six month old Honda for an SUV. We are expecting a new baby so our Insight got very small very fast. When I went it I explained the situation to Justin and he referred me to Ernest. His demeanor yelled courteousness and care. I was very impressed. Being in sales myself, it is sometimes hard to find decent people that want to help you for your needs and not their compensation. He and the Plaza team worked with me for five hours, going back and forth with the bank and afterward got me the monthly cost I was looking for and I left with a new Rav 4. I will definitely be back for my next one and will recommend them to everyone.

I came in plaza toyota with an offer to trade in my toyota yaris and i asked Sean Robinson would this offer really be honored and he said yes.I then explain to him that i was very unhappy with my Yaris,that its too small for and i wanted a bigger car.I also expained to him that i came to toyota last year with an just like the one i showed him and it was not honored and i left very unhappy.Mr Robinson told me the my new offer will be honored.Sean then took me around the show room and asked me which car did i want and i told him this toyota camry and he told me that i would leave with it today.Sean was very professional,courteous and made me very happy with my new car.I would recommend all of my family and friends to plaza toyota.

On Thursday April 26 2012, I visited Plaza Auto mall shopping for a new car. I was greeted by a wonderful sales associate named Maged. He asked me few questions about the reason of my visit and what I'm looking for exactly in terms of model and size of car. I felt that he was very intelligent in his questions in a very smooth non-pushy way. Trying to find me the best choice according to my needs and budget. I informed him that I'm not ready yet to make a purchase but we agreed on few things and that I would come back to him when I'm ready. i just want to say that, Plaza Auto Mall are very lucky to have a very knowledgeable, friendly, easy going, patient salesman. Mike Alvarez, service manager at Plaza Toyota, Brooklyn, NY is an outstanding service manager who has taken care of my previous Corolla which I traded in yesterday for a new Corolla. He is courteous, efficient, knowledgable and trustworthy. He helped me through the process of trading in my car and purchasing a 2012 Corolla by introducing me to the sales manager, Angelo, who then assigned a salesman, Nana Sono to me . After the transaction went through, Mike took time out of his busy schedule to show me the various operational aspects of my new car, for example, how to set up and use the Blue Tooth which I never imagined using before due to my limited knowledge of technology. He also supervised the installation of the body molding which I purchased from the dealership. In summation, it was because of Mike Alvarez that I chose to trade and purchase my car at this dealership, since, as we all know, the service department is actually the most important department of any dealership for all the obvious reasons. When I walked into the dealership, I was ready to buy a new car. I had no idea of what to expect, but I was welcomed by the friendly and courteous service of Mr. Shawn James. He was very knowledgeable and gave me valuable information about the car I was about to purchase. He was very professional in his approach to dealing with customers and I would recommend him to my friends, family, and co-workers. Shawn did such a great job in explaining the features on my new Toyota Corolla, that when I drove off I was very comfortable with everything. Shawn made me a deal I could not refuse and my fears about creepy sales men went out the window because was very easy to speak to. I was quite aggressive with him at one point and he was a true gentleman. I am absolutely thrilled with my car and would recommend Plaza Toyota - Go see Shawn, he' s great.

I recently bought a Certified Pre-Owned Toyota Camry LE V6 from Plaza Toyota in Brooklyn. I must say this is the best car buying experience I ever had! The sales rep Nana Sono helped us without the pushiness you find at most dealerships. He was able to answer all of our questions and was very knowledgeable. Before I tell my story, I would like to point out that this dealership has received an "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau for having received 68 customer complaints in the past 12 months.Overall, my experience purchasing a car from Plaza Toyota was afwul. The staff was not knowledgeable, made many mistakes, and worst of all, were extremely rude. In a conversation with the Sales Manger, Aladdin Ibrahim, over the phone I said, "Toyota is a major company, how can your customer service be like this?" To which he replied, "We sell a million cars a year, we don't care if one customer isn't happy."My Experience:After agreeing to purchase a new Toyota, I told the salesman to call me in when the car and the paperwork were ready. I left to get a check and documentation. I was called back in. Nothing was ready. I waited almost 3 hours and filled out a few forms but no car was ready. I left and told the salesman to call me back when the car was ready. I was called back. When I arrived, no car was ready. I waited nearly 2 hours to get my car. While the salesman was explaining to me the features as I was taking the car off the lot, it was clear he knew very little about the product.The following week I received a check for the trade-in value of my car. The check was in the incorrect amount. I came to the dealership to speak to the Sales Manager, Aladdin Ibrahim, to tell him how my experience could have gone better and to correct the issue with the check. From the start, Aladdin was very rude and aggressive. He started making accusations because I didn't bring the check they sent me (even though they confirmed their mistake on their computer during the conversation). Our conversation ended with Aladdin literally shouting the 'F-word' at me exclaiming, "I'm not sending you your check at all now! Leave before I call security."This is how I was treated after making a major purchase at this dealership. No person, let alone a customer, should be treated this way. I encourage everyone reading this to pass this along and not to do business here.

The transmission on my Camry stopped working. With only 39,000 miles on it, this is covered by the powertrain warranty. When I called Plaza Toyota to get it fixed, it took me hours and multiple calls before I could even speak to anybody.Finally, Mike called back, identifying himself as the foreman of the service team. After hearing my description of the problem, he told me that it wasn't the transmission, but the fusible link, which I must have broken when I improperly boosted. Since this was my fault, I would have to pay for all testing and repairs.Knowing that I hadn't boosted the car and that the battery should anyway have nothing to do with the transmission, I was smart enough to know that he was lying through his teeth and sent my car to East Coast Toyota, who replaced the transmission at no cost to me.It's sad that my local Toyota dealer is do dishonest and lies to avoid honoring Toyota's warranty. I would never trust Plaza Toyota to do any work on my car.

My husband, daugther and I went into this dealership to browse, but we knew what we had in mind. After speaking to Nana we liked the deal, but decided to come back at a later date. Nana and his Manager talked with us about their Presidential sale (last day) and what was available to us at that time. After a "family meeting" we decided to go for the Rav4 Limited ... they made us a deal we could not refuse. We drove our "baby" home yesterday evening and we are so thrilled. Not only did we get the color, my hushand wanted, but some great perks, i.e. back camera, lojack, push button start, etc.Thank you so much for taking the extra time to talk with us, but also not being too pushy. We love the car. Nana is a true gentleman with a great sense of humor. Again, thank you for everything.

SUMMERY: Bait and Switch is standard practice here, and the people you talk to on the phone are paid to lie to you (as explained by the salesman i met with). If you want that special feeling of rage and impotence, this is the place!I am looking for a used RAV4 and they had 20(!) listed on their website. I was interested in 2 b/c of the price.I called on Sun. to make sure the 2 were on the lot. Jasmine said yes, come on in, we have a lot of RAV4s. I asked her to make sure they were there. She said she would call me right back but didn't. Hours later I called again and Jasmine told me they were not on the lot but she would talk to the manager and call me in the morning. I called the following morning (mon) an hour after they opened, but Jasmine said it was still early and she didn't want to 'bother the manager's yet" really? ok. she told me she would return my call in 45 minute. i called back 3 hours later and asked to talk to someone else. enter Ben. Ben tells me the cars are being stored elsewhere - which of the two would i rather see? i explain again that i'm traveling 1 hour to get there so i would like to see both. Ben doesn't know if this is possible but promises to try and "will call me back" ... exit Ben.(wednesday) no call back and I'm over it, but my fiance calls again and talks to Kevin. she gives the stock#s and he says, yes! they're here. come in and ask for Kevin. she explains the long trip and he assures her they are onsite. so i called back and asked for Kevin, explaining that i was told before that they were not onsite, is he sure? Oh, now Kevin realizes they're not there.... he calls back later and says that they will be onsite tomorrow after 12. just come in and ask for Jasmine.I called Jasmine on friday - expressed my doubts and asked her to make absolutely sure the Rav4s were on the lot. "Yes, yes, she repeats the stock #s and says they're here, come on in."I get there after over an hour of travel and there is no Jasmine and no RAVs I requested. in fact there were only 2 used RAVs as opposed to the 20 listed online.Unreal. the sales guy who didn't give me his name told me Jasmine's job was just to get people into the showroom so that's why she said the vehicles were here. Wow. the sales guy 'didn't know where the vehicles were' and talked to the manager who didn't bother to walk over 15ft to apologize. all in all, a giant waste of time - try to ignore plaza's online prices. next stop - BBB!

I had called before coming to make sure that the exactly car model was available on the lot, and we were told that it was. When we arrived in the showroom, there was nobody to help us for some time. Not only that, once someone did come by, we found out that Danielle, the person we spoke with on the phone, had "made a mistake" and there was no such car available. She was also unable to explain what had happened. Despite this great annoyance and inconvenience, I agreed to sit down and talk with Andrew. He made us a decent offer and we came to an agreement. From that point on, we had a good experience at Plaza Toyota due to his courtesy and customer service. He is a very skilled salesman and made us feel quite comfortable and happy with our decision to stay and conduct our business there. Eric helped us when we came back to get the car a few days later, and he was polite and helped us get in and out quickly. I have to take issue with the manipulative sales tactic that was used to get us in the store. That is why I cannot give 5's in my review. Overall I am pleased with my purchase,

Marcus did an outstanding job in rapidly finding the exact vehicle (Rav 4 with third seat) that i needed. He was a consummate professional with superb interpersonal skills. We came to the Toyota Plaza without strong idea to buy a new car (especially same day). After review of inventory in the showroom and conversation with Eric Roseboro, who is friendly and professionally trained salesperson we decided to buy a new car, so few hours later we left Toyota Plaza on new Scion. We traded our old car; the paperwork went fast and was explained. They showed us everything we would need to know for the beginning. We are really happy we went by chance to that dealership! I would like to mention that they did not have a standard radio for the car in stock and offered me to come by next morning to get new radio installed. Next morning another salesperson - Anthony Thompson took me to the train station on his personal car to help me to get to work on time. Good experience, I would definitely recommend Toyota Plaza to anyone.

Customer Service: When I spoke with Luis Simeoli over the phone, he gave me accurate pricing as well as answering any questions that I had about the car. He asked when was the best time for me to come in to look at the car and test drive it. He followed up with several phone calls to help coordinate a good time to come in and answer any other questions about the car.Quality of Work: Top of the line. Luis Simeoli is the most hard working and honest salesman that I've ever met. He really knows everything about the vehicles in Toyota's stock. He is very detail oriented and wants you to know what's in the car you're buying. Friendliness: Super friendly! He is like your best friend. He is so helpful and has a positive attitude towards you. He tries to fight for you with the sales managers to get the best price on your car (while still keeping his commission at a reasonable rate). There is no shady salesman tactics with him. He's as honest and upfront as you can get. He made my buying experience a breeze. There is no other salesman like him out there, trust me, I've been to other dealerships in the NYC area, and those salesman couldn't discern their behinds from their elbows less likely tell you what car has what features. Also, most other dealers, usually in NJ, tend to be pricks towards the customers. I mean, come on, what ever happened to "the customer is always right" mentality? Luis Simeoli IS the living embodiment of that mantra. Overall Experience: Superb. It was the most easiest decision my wife and I have ever made. Luis Simeoli was as professional and kind and sincere as you can get. Don't get anyone else to help you purchase your dream car. The other salesmen at the lot are ok, but Luis seemed to hit the mark with us particularly. He is truly a cut above the rest.Price: Plaza Toyota gives you the most competitive pricing in the tri-state area, hands down. They know this, that's why it's so hard to talk them down in price, because they usually offer the best prices out there. Actually, they even knocked off the price of our car a little bit after some haggling. Keep in mind, they're a business, like any other, so they need to make a living also (even though most of their revenue, like any other dealer, comes from their repair shop). Bottom line is to treat them with the same respect and honesty that they show you, and they will really appreciate it to the point of being more open minded to bargaining over the price. Again, they're salesmen (but still human beings that need to bring home a paycheck to take care of themselves and their families), so do your homework and fight for the best price you are willing to pay. In the end, if you're not happy, just walk away. There will always be another "dream car" out there somewhere!

I came in at about 9am with my out of comission Prius 2005, thinking I would either repair or trade it in. Decided to trade it in by about 10am. "Have you out of here in an hour or so. I left at 5:30 pm. with my new Prius. Service had fixed my car quickly and for a very reasonable price (better than my Mass. price for same problem a year ago). Paper work was a problem for the sales folks - I live in Mass. and q=wanted to register car there but after a few hours back and forth, they figured they couldn't sell it to me if I reg. it in Mass without me coming back at a later date and with i don't know what else. So I reg. it in NY as we have a apt. there. Then things went a little faster, but I left without the aerial being attached - and didn't find it in the car dash compartment as suggested. I agreed to pay $3000 on the new car (charged 12/12 on my credit card) but later realized it wasn't necessary so requested it be refunded. Still waiting for the refund to show up on my citi account when it should have been done the next morning. All in all they did a good job except for a timely return of $3000 and the the lack of an aerial (it was late by the time I left). Sales person helpful and easy to deal with, but not as informed as one would hope. Price and trade-in for my 2005 Prius seemed fair, esp. since I had not shopped around because of the need to make a fast decision. We were to have returned to Mass. the night before so were in a bit of a spot. Overall I gave the the dealeership a good rating, but staying with that will depend on how soon my $3000 is credited and whether or not my aerial arrives. They have a complete operations there and had I snot been in a rush and were a NY resident things would have been faster.

He was kind, courteous, knowledgeable and tried to keep my payments as close to my budget. Although I came in at 7:30 in the morning and didn't leave until 5:30 It was not a horrible experience. Both Thomas and Al were extremely helpful. Thomas had sold my previous Toyota to me. Prior to purchase Thomas insisted we take a test drive. My wife loved the car as I did. The manager was fare in his appraisal of my trade-in and helped to get the best financing rate. WhenI came to pickup the car, Thomas explained all the details and suggested if I have any additional questions about details to contact him. Thomas also setup an appointment for the installation of the Toyoata alloy wheels with wheel locks. It has so far been an excellent experience.

The moment I stepped into the dealership, I was greeted and and immediately received help. As I was looking at different cars the sales person was helpful and informative but not pressuring which is a big plus for me when I'm car shopping. We were introduced to Sales managers and they were also very friendly and were quick to be sure we were getting the help we needed. Our sales man was quick to offer a test drive on the Camry we were looking at and when we decided to purchase it was very knowledgeable on the paperwork we needed to fill out and took care of the paperwork in a very timely fashion so that we weren't needlessly wasting our time standing around waiting for paperwork to be processed, which is again a big plus for me.The price was very acceptable and in what seemed like no time at all we were on our way, the proud owners of a new Toyota Camry!!In my opinion they aced your above criteria, and I will be returning to Plaza Toyota for my next car purchase. Overall my experience was great and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.I gave quality of work a 5 based on the individual performance of the salesperson. However, from my obersvation I think there needs to be a better system. If a salesman is working with a client he should not also have to stop to attach plates to a car, take it to be detailed, take it to the gas station, etc. I am sure there are employees there that work under this capacity. The time that my salesman had to take out to attend to all the little things was time that could have been spent paying more attention to the needs of customers.

I live in Central Jersey, I visited a few dealerships in the area with mixed results until I was referred to plaza toyota. It isn't very local but I did feel it was worth a visit. The first impression I had was no one was pushy, and I felt comfortable talking to the people there. I did however quickly decide on a car that I instantly fell in love with. After that my day was made very easy for me. All the handy work was taken care of in a timely fashion and I did feel like I was being taken care of and I trusted them. As an update, I have been driving my car for a few months now and I love it! It drives great and I was assured by the dealer that if I needed anything that I could just call and they would take care of it for me. I would definitely return to plaza toyota do to business in the future.

The sales persons were great, especially Shak Butler. He went above & beyond. The service department leaves alot to be desired. The car was detailed twice but still has residue on the body. The inside was dirty from putting in a sun roof & was not cleaned. I took 4 hours to get the car & I still need to return for another trip to get the auto start put in which they did not have in stock. Will probably go to another dealer for service. But I have more than great praise for all the salespersons in the dealership. They did not know what to do for me & Jose the financial person was also a great help & explained all the details which made the paperwork a breeze.

While the prices were fair, and the salespeople were friendly, they were disorganized and my cash transaction took an inordinately long time and my initial paperwork was lost. I left my new car there for after-sale installations, and was not contacted for a day and a half and was given the run-around until finally someone called me back to give me the status of my car. There were items still not installed, however, I realize that parts had to be ordered. It remains to be seen whether I will actually get those items I paid for installed, so I am not ready to rate that as yet here. I have dealt with other dealerships in the past and they were far better organized. No one seemed to know what the other party was doing and communication was very poor. Overall, I am happy with my car, but the initial salesperson I worked with was very young and inexperienced and couldn't answer many of my questions. I also felt that several of the packages offered online were not made available to me. For example, I had wanted the Sports trim of the Rav4 with the enhanced performance package but did not want the appearance package with the run flat tires. I was told that that was the only available configuration for the Sport version. I was also told initially that the red exterior did not come with gray interior. That, too, was not the case. Overall, the salesman tried to give me what I wanted but I am not sure that I couldn't have gotten exactly what I wanted from another dealer.My biggest issues are the lack of communication and wait time for transactions

My personal experience was very plesant I walked in and instantly Mr. Givins appeared and was at my service, it took me all of half hour to decide what car I wanted and whyMr Ben Givens was truly a plesure to work with, he thinks very fast on his feet. it was the utmost satisfying experience I have had so far in leasing a new car.The atmosphere was wery curteous and prefessional. The dealer was very helpful and the management has been very appraochable and professional. I give this rating because the entire experience was truly pleasant. From the moment I made the call the sales agent [Charlene} was very warm and caring she answered all myquestions and politely invited me into the showroom. Once there I was introduced to Andrea Drumgoole she was also very pleasant and took care of all of my needs. Once everything was decided and we picked the vehicle we liked the payments was a little higher then we could afford Andrew & Al worked with us and we came up with a payment that wasn't painful and that was comfortable enough for us to work with. Needless to say my husband & I drove away that evening in our 2011 White Toyota Camry I was smiling all the way home. Yes I would recommend this dealership to all my friends & family. They were able to negotiate pricing as best as they could. Overrall rating is pretty good. The only disappointing part about it is the pricing. I got a good APR but the monthly payments are a bit high. I wasn't to satisfied with trade in price for the 2007 camry and secondly when i went back to the dealership with the 2011 camry for them to put the remote start and alarm in, i was notified 3 hours after when the alarm and remote start was installed.

The name of the employee who assisted my husband and I, is Shawn. He was extremely knowledgeable about the product we were interested in purchasing. We were not forced or coerced into purchasing the vehicle we ended up buying. Shawn was very patient while assisting and informing us about the product. I needed a car for my job and I couldn't decide what car to chose. Eric helped me with choosing a right car in my price range. He also gave me a discount and helped me to get approved for a loan. He has very good knowledge of Toyota products. If my next car is also a Toyota I will buy it from Plaza Auto Mall. The place is very convenient as they have Toyota service on the same block. RECOMMENDED!!!

DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM HERE EVER!!! They are all liars, pass-the-buck, beat-around-the-bush people. They rip you off and are so insensitive. I fell in love with a pre-owned 2010 Hyundai Elantra, my very first car ever. I decided this was the one, signed all the papers needed to be signed, got a bank approval, got my plates, got my insurance, all the good stuff. They also made a deal to detail my car and install an active alarm. So, my car stood in the shop for THREE DAYS, and low and behold, THREE DAYS LATER, after thousands of phone calls, I was told by PAUL (stay away from him!) that my CAR WAS SOLD!!!!!! Thank goodness no money was lost in this unfortunate experience, but it was the worst experience ever!!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! SPREAD THE WORD!! THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! THEY SEEM "NICE" BUT ARE RIPPING YOU OFF!!!! This place seriously needs to be shut-down!

I go to this dealer tring to find the best certifed used car for my wife this sales man luis help me to find the best car in the lot we spend close to 2 hour to help to buy something good for my wife now she is happy and im happy because i dont have to deal whith her in the morning, the financial maneger Jose is so professional he talk to you honestly and whithout tricks like luis is he tell you something is that the way it is no rodeos not to much complication.

Gave best deal for trade in so far. But tried to have me insure a Highlander I possibly wasn't gonna buy, because that is they only way they could do the financing work, they said. They said if I switched my vehicle, for the Highlander on my insurance, that if I didn't but the Highlander, my insurance wouldn't collapse on my current vehicle, for 5 days, and if i didn't buy the new one, just call Geico back. I had them call Geico to ask about this, of course this wasn't true. I would have no insurance on my current vehicle if I didn't take the Highlander. 1st strike. Second, the vehicle I wanted, and what was suppose to be written up, was one on the showroom floor. They wrote up another, with a different color interior, but same color exterior. Second strike. Then they tried to get me with a 71 month financing at 7.9% APR, which would have been over $9,500 in finance charges. I said no, then they did 2.9%, at 60 months, which would have been just over $3,000 in finance charges. Same monthly payments though. Why not do that in first place? Tried to get an additional $6,500 from me. 3rd strike, and they were out. As I left, the finance person followed me, and was trying his best to get me to buy, along with the salesperson. I told them, I was not interested, as they had tried to con me three times. They had me park in the valet lot, and the salesperson followed me there, saying the finance manager would like to talk to me, just give the manager five minutes, that's all. I said no, and left. They did give best trade in value so far for my 2008 King Ranch Expedition, but those practices were a huge no no, especially with the financing. No matter where you buy, MAKE SURE YOU READ PAPERS. Make sure the payments make sense. Bring a calculator, so you can get the difference yourself, for what is financed, and what you will pay at the end, of your payment terms. Make sure when a vehicle is written up, you go and check the VIN number and stock number, to what they wrote on the papers. Salesman was honest, and helpful, for some things, then deceptive at others (switch of vehicle, and insurance thing)..........

I am currently looking for a 2011 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD and unfortunately I have visited Plaza Toyota's showroom. On my first visit I had dealt with a sales person name Carlos and the sales manager, unknown name (Heavy set, male, Hispanic). Carlos that day was professional, but I couldn't say the same for my encounter with the sales manager. The sales manager's demeanor was very insulting. I am a potential buyer ready to purchase a vehicle, but instead of working with me he gave me the run around. Due to the price difference I left the showroom. I returned on August 28, 2010 after speaking with Carlos again. I asked if he had 2011 Toyota sienna XLE AWD in Pre-Dawn Gray. His response was yes they do and that I can stop buy the showroom anytime after 9am. I went back to the showroom with high expectations and only to find out that Carlos is not at work and no one can seem to find him. I then approached the sales manager on the floor about my interest in purchasing the 2011 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD, Pre-Dawn Gray color without the DVD and Navigation package for 34,000.00. He refers me to another sales Thomas which was very helpful and informative. I then repeated what I want and can they get it for 34,000. If they can do it, I will put a deposit down. Thomas comes back to tell me that they do not have the vehicle in stock and it will be in the showroom within 90days. But they do have a similar vehicle in a different color and the price will be 35,499.00. Once again the dealership has failed to provide the service it promises. I then had to speak to the sales manager who then aggressively tried to sell the vehicle I did not want. My experience with Plaza Toyota is so negative that I will advise anyone I know not to purchase vehicles from the dealership. No one should have to endure the poor, aggressive, conniving sales tactic that happens at Plaza Toyota.

Huge rip off & unreputable. They were paid over $5,000.00 to repair a theft recovery. They caused more damage to the car and never repaired the car properly. Rueben claims they have an on site state of the art body shop. That is a lie they use an outside shop MG & Sons located at 9313 Ditmas Avenue. They are butchers and hacks which should be stripped of their franchise rights. I would never patronize Plaza as a result of this experience. Moreover, had I known back then what I know now...I never would have gone there in the first place.

Anthony Scifano-Toyota General Manager at 2721 Nostrand Avenue Brooklyn NY 11210 refuses to return a deposit of $3000 dollars that was taken out of my account without my approval. It has been two weeks and I am getting the run around. It took the salesperson 2 seconds to debit the account but I am still waiting for my fund. I was unable to purchase the vehicle due to the high insurance rate I was quoted. They are very shady. If I would have read the negative comments on this website I would never stepped foot in this dealership.

I made an offer on a toyota, the floor salesman himself was nice enough, then he asked for my credit card i guess to make the offer seem serious to bring to the sales manager, the sales manager came to me with the most disgusting arrogant attitude, as if trying to intimidate me, then tells me he doesnt want my business, and yelling at me, asking me whats wrong with me because I didn't accept his price. And accused me of assaulting him, which his coworkers denied. So I asked him to give me back my information which he refused to give me me back my papers. Absolutely terrible service, my second choice was to buy a honda across the street because they ahd a car in my proce but i didnt bother because they were owned by Plaza also. BUYER YOU WERE WARNED. GO TO A REPUTABLE DEALER, BEFORE YOU HAND OVER YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND YOU CASH.

I had the most horrible experience here. They lied to me, over and over, about how much my monthly payments would be, the APR for financing, and the fact that the car was not under warranty. I am still too upset to discuss more details. Now it's been a month, and they still have not processed the registration for my car. I called DMV and they have no record of this being my new car.

They have way too good price on internet, which is lower than Edmund price.And the internet sales say they have the car I want in stock..For a special reason, they e-mail me the price quote of '09 Toyota with '08 Toyota!Not only me, but also my wife got the same e-mail with WRONG YEAR of the price quote.When I went to the dealership, There is NO CAR I want in stock.and the low price is ONLY for the in stock car.they tried to charge me "new car preparation fee $800"!!!

I had a ver bitter experience with Plaza automobile. I wanted to purchase a new car. The sales manager was very rude, when we started negotiating the price he came across as a very unfriendly arrogant and an aggressive person and gave the least importance to being respectful. He finally agreed for a price and the next day when I approached him he refused to sell the car for the price he promised. It was so obvious that he did that on purpose. I have a written proof of the price he promised to sell the car for....I wish I could scan and upload it. I would never recommend Plaza Automobile to anyone.

I went in on Sunday to purchase a new Toyota Corolla for my daughter and found the dealership through Google. I have also visited Bay Ridge but was given a hard time when trying to find the right fit. The Salesman named Steve was very helpful and professional at getting me the car in a timely fashion. It took a few hours and when I got home my daughter was extremely happy with the car. I want to thank Plaza and let everyone know that they have some quality people willing to help. Ask for Steve he will be willing to help you.

The person that spoke about the phone incident is telling the truth but then again so many sale-persons know exactly what to say to save themselves. Keywords: "misunderstanding", "Miscommunication"They can get away with this according to lawBut the devil is in the details!!if you talk to someone over the phone get a very detailed email, stating everything from the year, model, color, wheel size, rims, spoiler, side moldings.You have to tell them there will be no appointment until this email doesn't come through.try to make them send everything in one email...this is the trick they will try their best to send many emails with everything you asked for but every quote they send you will be for a different car model(V4, V6).I also went down to the dealership on chistmas eve to get a good deal but they also tried to scam me. I spoke to about 5 different dealerships and about 10- 15 sales representatives they all said side moldings are standard with the sports edition (se) but when i went to purchase the car and after about an hour of negoation I was ready to sign but something made me ask if the side-molding were included but just then they say no it is an additional $400.00 then I knew they were a scam. How did I know b/c invoice price for side molding is about $115 to $120 something like that...this it the cost to the dealer and the consumers price is $200.00. Another tip is if they are going to charge you a document fee tell them to charge this fee as well "document me walking out on you" b/c there is no such thing as a document fee.

So we go to buy a Sienna (with 4 wheel drive)<br>and put down a credit card deposit.<br>On the day of pickup, we notice that our Sienna<br>does not have 4 wheel drive. They attribute<br>this mix-up to a miscommunication. We're<br>pretty upset because our time was wasted<br>traveling to this dealership and call off<br>the deal. We are told that our credit card<br>will be credited with a refund either that <br>Friday or the following one due to their<br>policies. Fine.<br><br>Nearly a month later there is no sign of the <br>credit. When we call them about it, they said<br>they were waiting for us to call them to <br>remind them to credit us. We were incredulous.<br>Along with not carrying out what they promised<br>to do, it was simply a ridiculous notion to <br>expect the customer to serve as a reminder for<br>a basic refund transaction.
