The service department was amazing, the guy (I'm forgetting his name at the moment) worked with me, listened to my concerns, (just a couple things making noise) and was generally very helpful. I felt like he was genuinely interested in helping me maintain my vehicle, not trying upsell me on a bunch of unnecessary extras. Terrific service!!! Also, their prices on the service they do is very fair, they aren't trying to charge $400 for just changing a cabin air filter, etc.

A problem with my vehicle was identified at 2 separate visits and brought to my attention immediately. I was aware of an abnormal sound, but had been told by the dealer I bought the vehicle from (NOT Power) that it was a non-issue. Despite my visit being for a simple oil change, my vehicle was immediate moved to the service dept. where parts were exchanged in an effort to identify the problem. It was found to be a faulty alternator. The part was ordered and I was scheduled for repair the following week. All of this under warranty and with excellent customer service. As a business owner, I'm impressed by both staff and management. Staff provides excellent service. I've not seen integrity in business like this in quite some time. Management allows the freedom to identify problems and inform customer, even if it's for warranty work and the customer is unaware of the problem. I operate a mobile surgical business and buy vehicles regularly. Our next vehicle purchase will be from Power Kia.

I was a drop in for an oil change where I expected to wait at least a few hours. The service waitig room was quiet and coffee was available. Instead, the service dept. took me into the days service queue. The actual job was done in a mere 45 minutes instead. And that was including the wait from other customers. Employees are always prompt, professional, and easy to talk to regarding any issues or concerns. They all take exact notes, so that there is no confusion between what the dealership might think is the issue and what the consumer is looking. The process was simple and painless. CJ our sales person and D.J our finance person could not have impressed me anymore than they did. The experience was so good that I took my parents in 2 days later and they bought a new car. I have bought many new cars and this was by far the best experience ever. i was so impressed with your sales lady Brandi DeAngelo. She made it so easy to find the right car for me. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and she went up and beyond to help me get the car i wanted, even picked me up at my house when i couldn't find a ride to the dealership. i'm very happy with my new car and i would say that she is the reason i bought it from Power Kia. i would definitely tell all my friends to go see her if they need a new car.

The staff was very helpful in working out a purchased oil change service agreement for this oil change. When I purchased my Chevy Truck in June of 2012 along with the warranty I purchased an oil change and service agreement which included 9 oil changes. My truck is used as a second vehicle so it is not driven many miles per year so in three years I drove my vehicle 21,112 miles. When I had the oil changed this last time, I was advised that the Oil changes ended with the end of the warranty which means I was not able to get any more oil changes even though I had four or five remaining. I thought this was not fair. One of the oil changes during this time was done at Oil Can Henry's because I had my kids needed to use the truck immediately to go to California. The staff was understanding enough to provide the oil change for free because of the misunderstanding.

Everyone we spoke to was extremely friendly. Everyone was smiling and they looked as if they were happy to be working there. I have two small children and we were able to sit in a room with full on TV options. This is huge considering small children usually get bored easily. It made the waiting time go by quickly it was a very pleasant experience. And the coffee was pretty good too thank you.

I always appreciate that they wash my vehicle for me after servicing it. And I wish I could remember the name of the service rep who helped me. He is a GREAT representative for your company. He's very nice, positive, let's me know what work I need to have done coming up, but is not pushy or condescending about scheduling it. He's one of several reasons I'm a repeat customer. He had styled silver hair, glasses, slender build, a little taller than average perhaps, and probably somewhere in his late 40s, or 50s. Anyway, I don't know him, or even his name, but he gets five stars in my book.

Great customer support and quality of service. We like pointing out things that need attention and keeping you updated on the prograss of your service. It is nice when we come in Eric knows who we are and remembers things we have told him. Great asset to your dealership. Both Erics are great to work with.

The service writer was polite and knew exactly what my car was there for, how long it would take and was right on the money with both. I was offered beverages, a place to sit and watch tv while I waited and my car was washed when it was returned to me. Very positive experience

They washed my car, and did everything I asked. The only problem was I never received a call about my vehicle, I had to call, and check on the status. Even the last call to see if it was done. Other than that they were great.

Mom purchased a new Kia Optima in September 2015. She thought she would take her first solo road trip since Dad passed away. En route to Lincoln city, she got a flat tire. She had roadside assistance so we thought she would be ok. The roadside assistance guy shows up and says that she does NOT have a spare tire. Guess Kia no longer includes spare tires. Dealer never mentioned this to 82 year old lady driving by herself. She now is trying to get her car towed some where. Out on the highway for over 2 hours. Don't think she is going to recommend Kia to anyone. Had we known, we would have purchased a spare tire or at least negotiated that as part of the sale.UPDATE: only fair to mention that Kia dealership did loan her a car to get home. She broke down at 1 pm and finally got back to dealership after 630 with service closed. So they gave her a loaner car and then charged her over $300 to get her a new tire and a spare donut tire. She says she no trust Kia ever again.

My husband and I bought our first brand new car mainly because Wayne Ronke was anything but the typical car salesman. He was personable and friendly and we felt like he was being straight up with us from the moment we met. His laid back approach set us completely at ease and even though we didn't intend to buy a car, he helped us understand how affordable it could be. First, I am greeted with a smile. The Service Reps. listen to all problems and explain what might be causing them. If any work needs to be done (besides what the vehicle was brought in for) the Service Rep. brings this to your attention and will not proceed without your permission. I have always been very pleased with any work done on my vehicle. It's even better now that I get my vehicle washed as well. I would highly recommend Kia vehicles and Kia Service to all my friends.

I was so happy when Jim took over and went over all the goodies this car has to offer. He explained so many things that I did not know even existed on the Soul. I owned my Kia Sorento for 10 years and am now happy to be driving a Kia again.

Staff is very friendly. While I was waiting a salesman chatted briefly; several walked through and smiled. The service was done in the amount of time they said it would take. He explained the work that was done and that I should be aware brake pads are getting low. All staff was friendly and helpful

Eric Lindeman, service rep and Doc, technician. They Repaired my car to perfection. Eric is an amazing service rep. He is the epitome of an excellent employee! His consideration, timeliness, courtesy and caring to make sure everything went well with the repairs definitely makes me a life long customer of this Nissan dealership! Doc, the technician also did an amazing job in a quick manner to make sure my car was repaired and returned to me within a few days! Eric even made sure I had a nice clean rental to use while my car was being repaired.

#1 reason is that price of service is reasonable. I honestly wouldn't come in if it weren't. Staff is friendly, can arrange service via Kia's website and it lists the price of the service upfront, overall it's a good kia dealer

Service people were helpful in answering all questions I had. They pointed out unforeseen problems (cabin filter that was way overdue to be changed). Answered questions regarding how to deal with inclement weather, such as what to do in case of snow. Pleasant and helpful. They also washed the out side of my Soul!! That was awesome!

They did exactly what they said they would do. It must have been the kid that washed my car on last service job had broken my side mirror. Kia bought a new one and replaced it, free of charge to me.

The dealership said my credit union was not part of their cudle system? I called several other dealerships the next day and my credit union was in their system. Power Kia tried to sell me the car threw their finance department with a interest three times what my credit union approved me for? I went and bought a vehicle somewhere else the next day. The sale person was good, the finance department was terrible. I bought two other vehicles in the past at Power Mazda, that experience was great.

I want to first off start by saying this was by far the best experience I have ever had this is what car buying should be. With that said we have bought 2 cars prior from power Kia and the only thing I could ever say about the experience was at least I got a car, the service was always a nightmare situation. However this last time really was amazing. Rebecca and Jim and David were everything that Power should have been for years !!! had just come from another dealership in Salem after wasting 2 hours with them I was in a horrible mood, went to power only because well I could probably get a car was my attitude. Was met by Rebecca explained what happened at the other dealership and our situation she started by pre approving us so we didn't get our hopes up about vehicles, so she brings a car to show us a beautiful blue 2016 Kia Sorento we thought we could never have anything like that between her and Jim and David in a short hour and a half we had a reasonable car payment brand new car a full warranty and amazing interest rate and I walked out of Power still talking about how amazing that whole process was. To this day I still think about that day and go god I wish I would have went in sooner that experience was amazing. Jim and Rebecca and David are amazing. We had the kids with us and they were losing patience Jim even gave us a 5 dollar bill for the vending machine to get snacks for the kids you guys are amazing the new building has made a truly new power Kia

Rafael was able to take a bad situation and turn it around into a positive one. We had been on the lot for over 20 minutes and were not approached for assistance. We were entering the showroom as Rafael came out the door and asked us if we needed help. He had just finished with someone else, while others were just sitting in the showroom at the desk. My husband was already irritated and Rafael was able to defuse the situation and got us into a 2015 blue Kia Soul while trading in our 2013! Rafael's leaders need to know that he is a true asset with his customer service skills and ability to work with difficult customers.

My wife Tina and I went to Power Kia of Salem looking for a Kia Optima. We were greeted by Michael Verton one of the sales professionals. Michael was very friendly, didn't pressure us to buy and was a wealth of knowledge about Kia's cars. There were many new models to choose from, however a pre-owned car was what we needed to find as we had a budget to stick to and wanted to pay cash. Michael showed us a 2013 Kia Optima EX they had just taken in on trade that was parked by the service department for detailing. The Optima drove great and the price was in our budget. Perfect fit! Michael and David (the finance office guy) gave awesome service! I will definitely be looking to Power Kia of Salem for my next vehicle purchase!!! Thanks, Randy L

I have purchased 12 vehicles, 6 new and 6 used, in my "car buying career". I have bought cars at dealerships in Beaverton, Portland, and Salem. My Son and I just purchased a certified-used Kia Forte Koup at Power Kia in Salem, OR today, and it was the best car-buying experience I have ever had.There was a variety of great quality, competitively-priced used cars on the lot (Market at I5 in Salem). Nice facility and friendly, helpful staff. The whole process was hassle-free. We told Dwayne Shaver our financial guidelines and he quickly identified the the perfect car available. They worked up the paperwork while my Son and I grabbed a quick lunch at the Newport Seafood Grill (just a minute away). I was impressed by one Sales Consultant (Jim Roden) who, though not involved in our purchase, took the time to congratulate my Son on his purchase and shared some words of wisdom regarding how to improve his credit rating.David Becken, the Finance Manager, completed the signing process with us in a very efficient and orderly manner. He quickly explained each document and made the process simple for us. My husband went to Power Kia to trade in his truck. The first truck he test drove dies on him, the second one he wanted wouldn't start. The third one he liked and asked to make a deal. He told them he only wanted to go through his own credit union and no deal if they couldn't. They said they could make it happen and he left with the new (used) truck. Two days later the new truck started to to have transmission problems, so he called them and they said to bring it in. My husband had to leave town on a trip so I took it in, and they gave me a loaner car (note that his car also had mechanical issues...) Two days later my husband called me to say that Power had called to say the financing had not gone through.I took the loaner car back and they pulled up the old (05 Dodge) truck. It then died as it sat there. I was shocked as it had never done this. It had a few other things that needed work, but had never done this. They said they would have someone come over and jump start it. When an older guy came out to ask what was wrong and I told him the story. When I said it hadn't ever done this, he got defensive and then told me it took them a half an hour to get it to started before I got there. He then said I shouldn't try to jump it and drive it home because it wasn't safe. (So they were fine with me doing that before it died??? and had to ask what was wrong first, THEN told me they had problems starting it???) I understand how a part can fail at any moment but I felt a little jerked around and they were not honest from the beginning. When I went in to ask for a ride home, the I asked the guy why he didn't tell me the truth to start with and played dumb when he came out to see me - he said he just didn't know, and said we will do whatever you want with it... what???They gave me a ride home, and I called a tow truck for the Dodge. I then called (Larry) to tell him they were on their way and asked if there had been any personal belongings left in the other truck. He said they would keep that truck locked up tight and that my husband had to sign something when he got back, and could pick them up then,When my husband got home, he had letter from 4 different banks where they had tried to get credit. FOUR... (not their fault that he didn't qualify, but he had asked to only check with his bank) When my husband went to get his things, there wasn't anything to sign, and all of the stuff has been thrown in a box - wet. CD's and other personal belongings were at the bottom, and on top were items from the bed of the truck.

My boyfriend and I went to Power Kia never really thinking we would be able to leave with a new car. That is exactly what happened! The entire experience was great. No on was pushy and it really felt like they wanted to get us the best deal and the best car we could. From start to finish the entire process took about 3 hours and they next day we went back to sign paper work because they dropped our interest rate a dramatic amount! (YAY POWER KIA!) I would recommend Power Kia or any Kia dealership. I actually looked into KIA because a friend of mine in Bend, OR said how amazing they were. So don't let student loans (which I do have) and being a first time car buyer scare you away. If you are unable to walk away without a car, they will help you complete the steps you need to able to walk away with a car in the future. Thank you so much for the experience and the chance to drive away in our New/Used car.

Jim was simply the most open, informative, pleassant, and personable gentleman I have had the honor of working with to obtain a new car. This experience has redeemed my opinion of car dealers! There was NO pressure. Finding the right vehicle for my needs was quite easy and painless. We were able to agree on payments to fit my budget, so that I was able to purchase a New Car!! Something I did not I would ever be able to afford. I highly recommend that anyone looking for to purchase a vehicle visit this dealer. They definitely are there to assist their customers in a friendly, courteous and open fashion!!

Dwayne was very helpful. I've always had horrible experiences when it comes to buying a car, this was completely different. I pretty much picked my car out online, I saw it was 'on sale' and fell in love with the car, however, in the back of my mind I was thinking, "yeah right!".... I thought it was just some gimmick to get me to the dealership. To my surprise, the vehicle I purchased was the price listed online. Not only did I get the car I wanted at the actual price listed, I got a lower rate and payment than i expected. I would definitely suggest this dealership!

Dwayne Shaver was absolutely amazing. He worked so hard to get me exactly what I wanted. I kept the poor guy busy for over 2.5 hours getting my deal just right. I connected over internet to start off and made a appointment shortly Dwayne was picking me up at my residence . I decided I shouldn't put more money into my 99 Blazer ,although with a little touch it'll be a excellent vehicle for someone wanting a 4x4 of good cared for babied,etc. I felt it time to upgrade and it had to be non-radical choice ,this happen in Dwayne helping me find a 2003 Saturn Wagon mechanically taken care of by Power Kia. I needed a good car for some future time and excellent for my 104 lb. service dog. I'm referring a friend to go through Dwayne this coming year.

We saw a 2014 Kia Rio on the Salem Oregon Power Kia website, with 360 degree pictures AND it was on sale at a great price. We know it was a great price because, before we decided to buy it, we went to a local Treasure Valley Kia dealership to get a feel for the roominess, comfort, features, etc., and their base sticker price was $3k higher for pretty much the exact same car. We loved everything we saw about the 2014 Kia Rio. As we hadn't actually physically "seen" our car yet, we had to put a lot of trust and faith in Dwayne, from Salem Power Kia Internet Sales, that our car would be just as pristine, clean and undamaged as the one we sat in at the local dealership. All the paperwork was handled via e-mail and FedEx, at their cost, and when we picked up the car the next week, it was washed and clean inside and out, filled with gas and ready to drive. The drive home from Salem Oregon to Nampa Idaho was just long enough to be a good test of the car's handling and ensure we didn't buy a lemon. We bought the 6 speed manual, so going up and over the mountains was a blast and the car didn't miss a beat in get up and go. The whole sales transaction took, beginning to end, 6 days, and that was only because we couldn't take off until the weekend to pick it up.Would we do it again? We are already trying to talk our other daughter here in Idaho, into buying her new car from Salem Power Kia too, so...YES!

All my life I have wanted to own a Jeep or a Toyota 4x4. They were my dream cars. I finally got into a Jeep at Power Kia, thanks to Dwayne Shaver, Jr.. Now my wife and I can hit the mountains on our anniversary. Looking forward to it! I've always hated to buy cars from dealerships because of the hard sell. However, Dwayne is a man of integrity and does right by you. Easiest experience I have ever had with a dealership.

Everyone was very friendly, and the only issue we had wasn't with Power Kia, but with our trade-in that had apparently had some shady background issues we were unaware of. It made our experience less than ideal, but we are very glad that Power Kia brought it to our attention.

Some how Jake Ray, was able to get us into a brand new Rio for a great rate & payments we could easily handle. I am very pleased, not only with the car & the deal, but with Jake & Dwayne. Dwayne was the best easiest sales man ever. I automatically hate car sales men in al my 42 year they are slimy. Dwayne was likable and delivered on his word from the start. Deserves a raise. Because he is your best sales guy out there.

The vehicle I wanted had to be located via a dealer swap. Jim worked extremely hard for us and found me what I had asked for. He was professional but not too formal and made our whole experience of buying a new car pretty easy. I would not hesitate to recommend Power Kia and especially Jim as a sales person. We have dealt with a lot of the local car dealerships and sales people. I joked about him being the hardest working salesman in the area, but it wasn't really a joke. His dedication to the customer is very much appreciated. I wish them much success as they move to their bigger and better new location.

I bought a car from a local dealer, great little car but it didnt take me long to realize Im not much of a car person. I started talking to Dwayne in March 2013 about getting me out of the car, I owed more than it was worth. He was patient with me, guess Im a little picky, I wanted an SUV, one I would like; it had to have all the cool options, and be in my budget. That wasnt such an easy task, after about nine months back and forth texting I told Dwayne maybe I wasnt ready, he didnt pressure me or make me feel bad for all the work he put into looking for a vehicle I would like, he just told me to let him know when I was ready. About three months later I was ready, had a new phone number and forgot, I just started texting Dwayne again that I was ready. After he figured out who I was he started the search again. March 2014 I went to Salem to meet Dwayne for the first time and pick up my new SUV. I love it and couldnt be happier with the service and support I received from Salem Power Kia and their sales rep Dwayne. As my luck has it 40 days later I notice there is a strange sound from the rear end, I called and talked to Shane. He was on the ball and got it into the shop the next day. Thank you!

When I started car shopping I checked out a lot of brands online and found that the Kia Soul was very well rated for safety and dependability which was of most importance to me. It was affordable and had great gas mileage. So I had narrowed my choices down to 2 or 3 brands and styles and started checking on the best deals and planing a test drive of each. I found the local online ad for Power Kia in Salem. It offered a great deal but warned that there was only one at that price. I went in anyway, figuring it was a "come on" ad and the car would be gone when I got there or would be so stripped down that it would run the price up to make it worth having. I figured I would at least test drive the soul and then continue my search and make a choice later. I was amazed to find that Jim Roden (the salesman) was quick to show me the car from the ad and give me a test drive. The Soul was not stripped down but came with lots of great features. The 6 speed transmission is fun to drive. The air conditioner is a plus I don't usually get. The sound system is up to my husbands standards and that is rare. The gas mileage is great (and living up to its promises). It has lots of room for my long legged husband and It sits up high enough that I can see everything around me. The 10 year warranty is wonderful. Jim Roden was happy to show me our options. (I had to check out the Red one - way cute - but not as great a deal) and then we sat down to deal. I was ready for the usual run around and was amazed when Jim laid out the price as just exactly what the ad had said. No added hidden cost. None. Nada. No time wasted. No run around or pressure to buy a more expensive model. No need to look any farther. We bought the Kia Soul that was advertized, at the advertized price in a fast and pleasant manner. We are very happy with the car and very happy with the deal and the dealer and the sales man, Jim Roden.

My mom and I visited Power Kia in search of a new vehicle for me. We came to the dealership with a very unusual situation/problem. Jim took his time to dig into the root of what we needed and thought outside the box when coming up with a solution. Jim made what would and should have been a very stressful situation into a fun and light experience. There is not a single thing that Jim or the team at Power Kia could have done differently to improve the experience. I couldn't be happier with the experience of buying my first new car nor with my 2014 Kia Soul. Thank you Jim and everyone else at Power Kia!

Jim Roden was very friendly and did not pressure the sale. Jim was very knowledgeable about the Kia line of vehicles. I feel Jim went above and beyond with helping us transferring items from the vehicle we traded in including removing and cleaning the license plates we were transferring to the new vehicle.

This was the best car buying experience we have ever had. David Albers was able to answer all our questions and gave us plenty of time in private to make our decision. When it came time to discuss a price we did not have to go back and forth to negotiate. We made a reasonable offer and they accepted it.

I had a great experience with Power Kia. David was great to work with. He was not pushy at all. I told him exactly what I wanted and he worked very hard to make it happen. What I loved is when it came to financing he gave me a lot of options to pick from. He was very honest and fair too. If you are like me, and are a first time buyer you should definitely work with David he will get you the best deal. He really cares about the customer and their needs,not like other dealers who are just there to make $$$. I was out the door with a great car at a great price before I knew it! I had been shopping around for a New Car, I had made the decision to go with a KIA since I had owned the spectra before and loved it. I first started talking to Jake Ray through the online instant messenger and he was very nice and answered every question I had. I went into the shop a few days later after a little bit more shopping, and test drove the KIA Forte, I instantly fell in love with the car, it was perfect. Jake went over every detail with me in full and again answered all the questions I had. Few days later I decided to purchase the car and he was able to find the perfect one I wanted, color, options, etc.. Took 2 days to get here and it was flawless when I received it. I would shop here again and recommend it to anyone, the customer service here was beyond excellent. Thank you again!

So I'm a first time car buyer but this experience overall wasn't too bad. The sales consultant was helpful and willing to help work with us on the price when we showed him we did our research on the car with the internet price,kbb and the fact that we had a price for another similar car if the Honda place in Salem. It wasn't the most awesome deal but it was a good fair price for what the car was. The worst part was the waiting around to even go in and sign the papers which took longer than looking at the actual car. Another thing that we weren't happy about was the fact that when we did decide to get the car after originally having no intentions of buying that day, they were very adamant about us bringing in a down payment check that same day to hold the car for us as well as being very iffy on whether they'd be willing to wait a month or less for us to get the money for the remaining balance. Overall, nice people, good cars that you can negotiate the price on if it is reasonable. The only word of advice is to know what you are going to do about paying for it before hand and making sure they understand your plan and agree to it and abide by it. Besides these little things I have no problem recommending this place.

This is my second Kia I have leased through Power. I returned based on my first experience, however, Dwayne and Phil have raised the bar. I live in Tigard and would rather drive 30 miles than deal with the sharks at my local Kia dealerships. I dealt with everything either online or by text, I spent less that 45 minutes in the store from start to finish. Most if that was the delivery and explanation of the vehicle. Can you say that about your last dealership experience? Power is my dealer of choice for life! Thanks to all...I love my new Kia

Dwayne was amazing! I gave him a basic idea of what we were looking to upgrade to, and he hit it out of the park on the first try. He gave a personal level of service that is not often found in other dealerships, and he is the reason we will be coming back to Power Kia when we are ready to purchase or trade in again.

The one thing I hate is a pushy salesperson. Jake Ray was everything but that. He was very knowledgeable and what he wasn't sure of, he sought the answers until he found them. Jake was courteous, friendly, and went out of his way to make you feel comfortable. He took his time with you and listened carefully what you were looking for. When he found the car I was interested in and I went for the test drive he explained all the new technology that came with the vehicle. I had no idea some of the technology that was available today. The last time I looked at anything was in 2007. When I decided to buy this Kia I wanted a spare fob for the ignition. I was to come in the next day with my husband to pick up the car. Jake drove me over to the parts department so I could pay for the Fob and set up the appointment to take the Kia in the next morning for them to set the Fob to the Kia. Since I live an hour away he is doing this himself so my husband and I wouldn't be sitting around waiting on this to be done when we pick up the car in the afternoon. How many sales persons do you know that would do that? Now when it came to the financing office and the business manager I also am so impressed. I gave them my expectations and limits and they went out of their way to give me what I wanted. In some ways, very creative but the knowledge they had they knew how to make it work. Phil Dalton the business manager was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, took his time to explain all the paperwork and when something I needed changed in the paperwork he didn't bat an eye, he got the job done. A very pleasant man to deal with. All in all, I couldn't say enough about my great experience with Power Kia Dealership in Salem. I would recommend them to everyone.Doris P.

My wife and I were looking for a completely different type of car than we were used to so we visited many dealerships of all of the manufacturers of small SUV's. I went to look at Kias because of recommendations of independent mechanics that I know. When I showed up at Power Kia in Salem I was greeted immediately by Jake Ray and he listened to my questions with respect and helped answer all of my questions. Jake was enthusiastic about showing us the vehicles and helping us find the answers to our questions. I think we drove the Sorrento three times. He also brought in a Ford Escape from another Power dealer because I had expressed an interest in it. My wife and I spent a month on this process of car-buying and Jake checked in with me twice. I don't think I met any other salesman at the probably nine other dealerships we visited that so clearly made our finding the right car his real priority. When we were talking about price the guys at Salem Power Kia were quick to respond to our questions and concerns. It was very nice working with the people at Power Kia. Thanks

We were looking for our next car as our 2005 Chevrolet Malibu had 240,000 miles although it is running strong we felt we need to get another vehicle and have it paid off before retirement. Dwayne was very helpful listening to us and put us the Kia Optima hybrid that we bought. Dwayne also informed us of the discounts available for this vehicle and worked a very fair price for us, no haggling or headache. My experience at Power Kia with Jake was "on point" and warm and professional. Jake knew the two or three brands I was looking for and we only needed to test drive two cars. Jake was fun to be with and prepared. I decided on a Toyota Highlander and the negotiation was smooth and Jake handled the process very well. Beat any previous experience I have had with a dealership in 48 years of driving! I will come back and highly recommend Jake and the Power Auto dealerships.

Last month I came in to purchase my 2012 mazda 3. Thanks to jake I was able to drive off the lot with the vehicle I had falling in love with! He was very helpful. Had all information ready for me. I can't say enough great things about all the gentlemen that helped us! I have had horrible car shopping experiences in the past and I was very nervous and all my fears and nerves were put to rest very quickly! They treated us like friends and family, we really felt like they cared about what we cared about and wanted to see us in a car just as much as we wanted to be in one and really did everything they could to make that happen. We drove off the lot with the perfect car and huge smiles on our faces and they were smiling too! The quality of customer service that Jim gave me and my father (whom he was working with a month even before I decided to buy) was absolutely AMAZING. This was my first experience buying a new car. It has been two weeks since and I still have the biggest grin on my face. I love my new Kia Forte EX! After visiting four other dealerships, Jim was the only salesman willing to fit me into a car that was right for me -- and most importantly -- with payments that I was comfortable making each month. We received a flyer that offered us a free turkey if we went in. Having been driving a 2011 optima it was easy for us to make the choice to consider a new one. We were impressed with how easy the deal came together and it was very nice to be able to work in a no pressure atmosphere. After only a couple of hours, we ended up in a brand new Kia Optima, got our turkey certificate and my nameis in the drawing box to win a free car. Since this is our first new car I can confidently say that I know we made the right decision to by the Kia.

Because they were very friendly. All who addressed us. We started with Dwayne he had another call and turned us over to Jim. He was not high pressured at all as we stated many times we were just looking. Then as things progressed we were asked if we wanted to see what the payments would be and we were very surprised and in the end bought. Previous to our experience at with Jim Roden at Power Kia, Salem OR, we had considered getting a new car somewhat like a visit to the dentist, necessary but unpleasant. We were very surprised at how much we actually enjoyed our day. Jim was authentic and knowledgeable. The truly unique aspect is we felt respected. Our needs were heard and met. We had saved cash for this purchase and each dollar was important to us. Jim found us the perfect fit. We love our car and best of all, no buyers remorse. Even though we are not frequent traders of our cars, we will go to Power Kia from now on and look for Jim!

For the first time ever, my husband & I had a totally positive car shopping (& car buying) experience, thanks to Power Mazda and Jeff Crites, the internet sales manager. There was no pressure or hassles whatsoever -- just a listening ear and friendly, patient, knowledgeable help in choosing the car (a 2014 Mazda 6) that best suited our needs. When we finally decided exactly what we wanted -- in a color and package less readily available than most -- Jeff left no stone unturned in tracking it down for us. It was still at the port and destined for a dealership in Kirkland, Washington, but we got it in just a couple of days. My husband and I are in our 60s and have had some really, really sour experiences with previous car shopping over the years, so this was a wonderful turn of events. Definitely, Power Mazda will get our future business, too! (P.S. We LOVE our new Mazda!)

My husband and i went to look for a van for our family since our current car didnt have the room we needed. When we arrived we meet bryan aka salesman number 1 he showed us the van and then relized how much we owed on our car. And we sat at his desk for a hour and waited as he was helpng other customers. Ben was the sales person. Very knowledgeable about the vehicles. Assisted us in finding what we wanted and was able to get a price that was agreeable. Phil was very good at getting us the financing we needed.

Jim was perfect, it would have been nice to have some automatic souls on site and to get a better deal than msrp on the automatic, if both of these had been possible, I would have upgraded. A friend paid a final price of 15,000 at Beaverton Kia, I would have done that. I was offered a final price of 16,500, and there were none available to drive away that day:(

I was interested in one of two vehicles- either a Subaru Forrester or a Kia Sorrento. I went to the Subaru dealer first. My experience at Subaru was not very good. I waited a long time to talk with someone at Subaru and finally the sales manager came out to talk with me. He was not able to answer any of my questions, and was a bit abrupt. I felt like I was annoying him. My experience working with Jim Roden, of Power Kia was exceptional. I was greeted immediately upon arrival and in a genuine "can I help you way." He is a nice guy, a regular person...doing a job. I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. Jim was professional, funny, and knew a lot about Kia's. What Jim didn't know he was honest and willing to get the information for me. I also really appreciated that after the sale, Jim took the time to go over my new car with me. He reviewed the manual and how to find information when I need to. He showed me how to program my car, and took the time to make sure I understood each feature of my new vehicle. I wasn't planning on purchasing a car on the day I went in. I was going to "shop" for awhile eventually getting my new car. I was so impressed with the caliber of professionalism exhibited by Jim, I went ahead and bought one. Please let Jim know that his efforts are appreciated. I am very happy with my new car purchase from Power Kia because I liked Jim.

I had a horrible experience with another dealership and was very unsure about trying again. Power Kia treated me with respect, completely understood what I was trying to do and did their very best to meet my requirements. I walked out extremely happy with the price of my new Kia, the trade in value of my Sorrento, and the financing agreement. Michael brought me in by phone with reassurance I would be treated like a person and David went out of is way to make me comfortable. I thank them both very much.

Al made the experience of buying a new car effortless. We were extremely pleased with his knowledge of the vehicle, financing and his willingness to help us through this process in a very timely way. We didn't want it to take 3 hours and he promised it wouldn't. In fact, it was about 2 hours total. His honesty and integrity when we first visited, brought us back a week later to purchase. Al is a top sales representative and we will recommend him to friends and family who may be shopping for a vehicle. I stopped at Kia first and went back to Kia last - best car best price!!! I spent my Sunday determined that I was not going to fill my SUV tank again. The first stop was Kia and Ben Phillips came out and asked what I was looking for. He only had to show me 1-2 cars and then he brought out the Kia Optima Hybrid which was very stylish, sharp, does not look like the same car everyone else drives and had the power that I love. I test drove that, told him I had a few other cars to look at that I was interested in and went on my way looking. Each car is test drove, I kept comparing each to the Kia that he had brought out, and each car I test drove, I drove by the Kia dealership to see if the Optima was still parked where we left it. After 4 cars and a couple dealerships, I went back, the car was still there. I was out of my range a little however he lowered the cost of the car , I was sad however to take a loss on my SUV the way that I did but the savings in gas will quickly make that difference up as I am quickly finding out, and the assurance of having a new car and being able to finally take my family places will be priceless. Thanks Ben!! Oh by the way,,, That could be your next commercial! Yes I drove by with each test car to make sure the Kia wasnt going anywhere. I love my car, the only thing missing is a moonroof and tinted windows which can be added down the road.

I had a good experience when I went and bought my used car. I was shown a variety of options within my price range, everyone there was friendly, and I was especially happy that I never felt any pressure. The reason I am most impressed with Power Kia is not just because they were helpful when I bought my car, but because they were just as great when I had a problem with the car. I stopped back by the dealership a few days after my purchase with a concern and they immediately sent me over to their service dealership, made sure my car was checked out, and took care of the repairs needed. I didn't realize this kind of honesty exhisted. I didn't have to stress about the expenses or being without a car, they really took care of me to make sure I was completly happy with my puchase.

Our Salesperson Ben Phillips was not pushy,he was friendly a very likable person, he asked us alot of questions about what we were looking for,had us sit a quite a few cars till we found the right fit for us. May 3 I bought a Pt cruiser ,before I bought it on the back window it had painted on the window parts on order ,my freind took a picture of the window, I pointed out the tires are bald ,the dealer said he see what they could do ,when he came back he said oh te parts on order are the tires . We looked at each other thought that's odd it was 12:30pm they took the car to change the tires why did the paper work ,I sat there till 3:30pm when finally the car came back with only two new tires ,then one week went by and I had to take it to the service center due to the radiator was bad and went out ,gee keep thinking about that window parts on order ,after they change the radiator the manufacture alarm goes off as you use key to u lock the door they did not give me the fob or have the alarm disable te alarm,all still not been thiry days since I signed papers to buy still see the window with parts on order. This all is why the Lemon Law was written, I like my Pt except for they never took care of issues they knew it had parts on order still have that photo of window on my car.so I would buy a car from them but be cautious if te car as on the window parts on reder make them tell you what parts on order take picture of window just incase you are thinking they are not being honest to you,just p,ay t safe take the picture it's worth a lot in court,if you have to ate them, so far they taken care of things but the car alarm they have yet to give me the fob for the alarm if they do not then taking car to attorney to video what it does then off to court lemon law covers me big tine

We bought a new KIA in 2012 but this dealership although extremely helpful, friendly and professional... was not able to obtain the color we wanted - we had to purchase at another KIA dealership outside of Salem. The moment I walked into Power Kia I was greeted by a friendly Al. I had never bought a car through a dealership and had visited a few others before Power. Al, after hearing what I needed in what price range, lead me to a few cars on the lot and then proceeded to drive me to TWO other lots just to help me find the right car. Al treated me like I was his own daughter and made sure I was getting a car I could handle and take care of. Made me feel at home and comfortable. I came back the next day ready to buy. Had the pleasure of working with Phil and he explained things clearly for me!! No mumbo jumbo or heavy jargon. I appreciated being treat like a person, a young women new to car buying, and more than a $$ sign. My sister brought me here because she had a similar experience with POWER. I was recommended by a family member to talk with Shane to purchase my new Kia after contacting Shane everything went smoothly. We worked our deal over the phone and via email and Shane worked exceptionally hard so that I only had to make one trip to Salem. I wanted a 2014 Kia Sorento V6 with the third row and Shane worked hard to find me one that I liked in a good color. I got a great deal on my trade-ins and was very happy with the service at Power Kia. Hello all.... Please see my previous review below. Back for the second new Kia; this time for my Aunt. Once again, another outstanding experience with Power Kia, primarily due to service "above and beyond" the call of duty by Al Severs.When my Aunt was ready to purchase her new Kia Soul, we met Al at the dealership, and she selected "The One" for an extended test drive the next day. Al encourages his customers to simply take a vehicle for a test drive, on your own, for as long as you like. This is notable, as it allows you to candidly (and privately) discuss the merits of the vehicle with your friends or family. I've never heard of a dealership doing anything like this before.In this particular case, "The One" turned out not to be "The One" as my Aunt decided to opt for a different package and options. No worries, as it turned out... we checked in with Al and he immediately set to finding a vehicle to fit the bill. We continued the test drive, went to lunch, visited family, etc. The point being, we were gone for hours, and this was not an issue at all.By the time we returned to the dealership, Al had located several Souls that might be "The (new) One" for my Aunt. However, as we began to finalize the deal, it became evident this selection of vehicles was also not precisely what my Aunt was looking for. Yep... we sent Al back to the well again. Success this time! "The One," and as it turned out, the only one to fit the bill, was availble at a dealership in Portland and we grabbed it. With the deal finalized... my Aunt was the happy new owner of a Kia Soul. However, this isn't the end of the story. By the time the deal was finalized, it was late Saturday afternoon; the vehicle scheduled to be delivered Monday morning. My Aunt was disappointed she wouldn't be able to drive her new Soul to Easter Sunday Mass the next morning. As a surprise for my Aunt, Al told me he was willing to go himself to the other dealership that night and personally bring her new Soul down to Salem, just so she could drive it to church the next day. Unbelievable! But true!! Later, Al called me around 8:00 PM, and I brought my Aunt back over to the dealership (which was closed by this time), and there it was.... her new Soul, ready to go! My Aunt was thrilled beyond words.... THANK YOU AL SEVERS!!!

My entire experience with Power Kia was really good. David was a pleaure to work with and I would recommend him to friends looking for a vehicle. I also appreciated Mike, Jeff, and Phil (I believe I have the names right). This is saying a lot coming from me as I am not a big fan of car salesmen in general. I don't mean to be unkind, it's simply a fact. These gentlemen worked with me this weekend and I drove home in a new Kia Soul. They were all very professional, they were not pushy, and were all very accommodating. I highly recommend this dealership.

Went into the dealership to look at an advertised pre-owned Sorento and left with a great deal on new Kia Soul. David was great, no pressure, walked us through all the different models of soul and features, drove a couple vehicles all the while it was cold, dark and raining. David answered all of our questions and then some. David at Power kia has followed up with us a few times since the sale to make sure we are satisfied and we are. My wife's favorite car of all time. We will and have recommended David to 1 friend already as well as the dealership as a whole. Finance Mgr was also great and we purchased Gap insurance.

David made this a very positive experience for us. He even drove out 30 miles to bring us into the dealership! We never felt any pressure to buy a car. He was friendly, caring and answered all our questions. There was a long wait to get the final signing of the papers done, but that was not really anyone's fault. It was just the way it worked out. So I've given it 5 stars across the board. And now after having driven our new Kia Soul for a week, it far exceeds our expectations. From the moment Luke Andre met us in the parking lot, I knew we were in the right spot. Luke was friendly, kind and very pleasant. He totally listened to what my wife and I explained to him, then responded appropriately. His ability to identify with us was excellent and his attitude was superb. Luke's easy going nature was a big plus for both my wife and I. Luke's knowledge of his inventory was very good and when he did have a question, he got an answer immediately. When we went for the test drive, it seemed more like we were 'hanging out' with a friend than being sold a car. In fact there was no point in the process where Luke seemed to be selling us anything. He just listened, responded and educated us. Even the process of agreeing to terms was easy and pleasant with Luke. He was very relaxed and made what can be a painful part of the deal a pleasure instead.When it was time to sign papers with the finance manager we were pleased that our good experience was pretty seamless. Even though we had to go off-site to another dealership, Luke happily drove us over. I believe the gentleman's name was Glen, who we met to sign papers. He was fantastic. Like Luke, Glen was freindly, kind, and uniquely pleasant. The paperwork process was quick and easy. We actually had fun with it, and left Glen's office laughing.Luke drove us back to the Kia dealership where our car was waiting; clean, full of gas, and ready to go. He went over a few essential items with us, then turned us loose. ALL GOOD. Every moment of the process with Power Kia was good, because of Luke and Glen.The icing on the cake happened a few days after we'd had the vehicle. Luke called and asked if I'd be willing to stop by and re-sign paperwork, as a decision had been made to deliver a better finance rate! He called me, for the purpose of saving me money!!! Never before, in my experience with car dealers, had any dealership worked to actually save me money, especially after the ink was down! This was proof, their entire business model was designed to please the customer vs. what can we get 'em for! Amazing.There are two important points I'd like to make:1. I am now a loyal Power Kia customer. Thank you, thank you.2. Luke Andre should be the model for training all other car salesman, as he defies the label of "car salesman." He's a cool hand, Luke is.

My Aunt is in the process of shopping for a new car.... We (Mom and I) stopped by Power Kia with my Aunt so she could check out the 2013 Kia Soul. Al greeted us warmly and showed my Aunt and I around the lot, allowing her to "touch and feel" several Souls while he explained the differences in each model to my Aunt. Afterwards, we went indoors to get some brochures and discuss a few particulars while exploring a nicely loaded 'Plus" model on the showroom floor. Here we met Mike Verton, which was fortunate as by this time my Mom was also actively interested in the Kia Soul. Well... Al and Mike were kept pretty busy for awhile showing the vehicle to, and answering questions from the two ladies. Al and Mike were consumate professionals, fully answering each and every question, while at the same time applying no pressure whatsoever. I rather enjoyed my role as a "spectator," especially since I had expected to be a "referee." My Aunt had experienced "pressure tactics" in the past at other local dealerships; I was there to intercede should that occur. What a pleasant surprise this was NOT necessary at Power Kia. At the time of this writing, my Mom has completed her purchase of a 2013 Soul. Al Severs handled the transaction, and he did an incredible job. Mom knew what she wanted on her Kia, and as we matched that to what was available; Al was a shining star. Mom doesn't get around too well, so Al brought each vehicle to the showroom door so Mom WOULDN'T HAVE TO STRUGGLE WALKING AROUND THE LOT. We didn't ask Al to do that... he just did it. I've never heard of such a thing happening at ANY dealership before. Thanks Al, and thank you Power Kia!

We were in the beginning stages of looking for a commuter car to travel to the Portland area with. On arrival at the lot, I was not pressured or immediately assaulted with salesmen and this was nice. At my liesure, I met the salesman, Jim Haytus, and he listened and showed me exactly what I was looking for in a car. I decided to test drive and he was very professional. On leaving the lot, he did not pressure or hound my to make any decisions, but offered his card and said the he would be happy to help whenever I was ready to purchase. On return to the lot later with my family, he was just as easy going. He listened to my wife and showed her a car that fit her wants and needs as well. Largely because of his professionalism, we decided to purchase two new vehicles at the same time. In purchase negotiations, he again listened and ensured that we did not have lot of back and forth, getting us reasonable deal in good order. This was clearly the best and easiest experience I've ever had with a car dealer. I dealt with Ira Cohen, the Internet Sales Manager. I enquired about a new Soul via the Web and negotiated a price via email. No sitting and waiting for the sales manager; no phone calls. Nothing except email. The process took a few days, but it was not unexpected because I was negotiating hard for a very low price. One Kia dealer in Portland routinely advertises a few cars a week at a price that most of the local dealers won't usually touch and Power Kia actually managed to beat that advertised price by a little bit.I live in Portland and have found that some of the Salem dealerships will give you a good deal to lure you to Salem to purchase a new vehicle. After all, they can't really offer other incentive other than price for out of town buyers. But obviously price is a pretty big factor for most purchasers.It was nice not to deal with all the crap that most dealers put buyers through. Ira understood my needs and took care of me. I would be very willing to use Ira again and to use Power Kia again. I hope others might have the same positive experience that I did.

I came in fairly late in the sales day and they were still patient when I had lots of questions and needed time to think before taking the sale.The car was as advertised in features and price. The salesman was very accommodating.

This is our third experience working with Al. We contacted him regarding a new car purchase, told him the 3 vehicles we were interested in, what we were looking for in the vehicles and stated when we would like to meet with him. We were very pleased - he got all three vehicles, selected colors very fitting for us and had them all ready for us to test drive upon arrival. He was very concerned with what we wanted out of the whole experience and ensured we had a positive outcome. There was ABSOLUTELY NO PRESSURE which we found FANTASTIC! We would totally recommend his services and would definitely contact him for any future purchases. Each sales transaction with him has been done with concern for what we want and not pushing what he thinks is best. That's hard to come by in a car salesman.THANK YOU VERY MUCH Al.

I was surprised at all the discounts I received.$1,500 customer cash,$500 previous Kia buyer,$500 military,and $1,200 trade in. Will highly recommend this dealership to friends.A pleasant purchasing experience. David was courteous and answered all our questions.

I was shopping for a used car for my daughter and after several horrible experiences My husband and I were about to give up. We stopped at Power Kia to look at 1 more place before we gave up and we had the BEST experience ever! Al was not pushy did not make us feel like we were nothing. He wanted to work with us. We had such a great experience that we wound up buying a brand new Kia Rio. So now my daughter will get my old car and I am a happy new owner of a Kia! I was in a bind - needed a car, had poor credit, but good job and home ownership, etc. Lisa worked with me kindly and generously, did not push me anywhere I didn't want to go - Mike was a great back-up. I am especially appreciative of the Finance Manager, whose name I couldn't catch, who found me a good interest rate, a good loan, etc. The staff there is outstanding, that's all I can say. The most pleasant and stress-free car-buying experience I have ever had.

I have nothing but good things to say about Ira Cohen, the sales person who worked with us on buying our car. He was very personable and was willing to help us in anyway that the could. He never pushed us into buying anything and was there to help in anyway that he could. Now in the future when I need service, and the service dept. is as good then I will be very happy. But for now I would recommend Power KIA to anyone who is going to buy a car. And ask for Ira Cohen.

I went in looking at a specific car I found online, and during the test drive both Jay and I determined it wasn't the one for me. We picked up a newer model at the second dealership, and it was just what I wanted. The team was able to finance me within my budget, even with a bankruptcy less than a year ago.It was a positive experience and I recommend them for anyone looking for a used or new car.

I contacted the dealership on a Saturday regarding an add I found on the website and on Sunday we were driving and up ready to buy. The salesman greeted us as we arrived and got us in the car for a test drive right away. The price was right and the purchase was fast and easy. We were out of there within 2 hours. Follow up was great.

Shane did a great job getting my girl into a new car. He was able to locate the car that she wanted. He had it brought to the Salem store and offered to send a driver down to pick her up if she couldn't find a ride. It turned out that I ended up taking her up there. Shane and his staff did a great job with the whole process, including taking care of the financing.

I was very impressed with the customer service I received at Power KIA/Mazda. I was able to test drive the Mazda 3 in my home town and was ready to purchase the car, when a friend recommended Power to me. Boy was I happy I waited and contacted Shane Mathey. Not only was he super friendly, he was sure to return my calls in a timely fashion and answer all my questions. Shane was able to beat the price quoted in my home town and he also had the car I wanted with exact color and specs I wanted brought in from another lot to Power. He even offered to have one of his drivers come and get me at home and drive me to Power in Salem when I was having trouble getting a ride the hour down Interstate 5. After finally getting to Power to purchase my car Rolo Cifuentes went over all the gadgets and gizmos of the car with me. He was very knowledgeable of the Mazda 3 and answered any questions I had. He even programmed my phone to my blue tooth on the car for me. Everyone at Power was extremely friendly and I would definitely recommend them.

This is the 2nd car we have purchased from this dealership. We enjoy the people, had a great time, and we plan to come back soon for another purchase. We have 2 friends that we recommended there also.Lisa really went out of her way to get me what I wanted and make sure I was happy. She's not at all like a typical car sales person. She's someone I'd enjoy just hanging out with anytime. In fact, I'm a helicopter pilot and I've already arranged for a free short scenic flight for her!!! LOVE YOU LISA!!!!!

Got the best price possible for a Kia Soul. I bugged them a bunch about price and they did't get irratated lol. They made me happy knowing I got the lowest price possible at a very low interest rate that beat the interest rate I searched for myself. I would recommend them highly. This was my first car purchase and I would buy from them again.

Michael and Larry worked hard to get us in to a Kia. We were not easily converted from our Toyota history. We were impressed with the Optima on several levels - Aesthetics, quality, warranty, and comfort while driving. We visited Power Kia to look at Optima's. We had spoke with Al last weekend about Sorento's. He was friendly and very informative on the vehicles. We settled on the Optima and he worked with us so we bought and left happy with our purchase.

We stopped in to look at the Optimas just as they were locking up for the night. Jim came over as my wife locked on to a color she liked and talked to us for several minutes with no rush for us to leave. We asked for his card and told him we would return the next day which we did. He went for a ride with us the next morning and we were sold on him and my wife was definitely sold on the color. We received a good price for our 12 year old trade-in, a dealer reduction to msrp and an incentive for a competing car (the list is large) and arrived at a workable price for a car with far more options than we thought we would be able to get. Jim is an upbeat sales person and we would go back to this dealership or recommend it to others especially if Jim is there. No pressure.

I have a 2 year old son and I work full time, I don't have the time to spend all day on a weekend away from him. When I called a few days prior to going in to test drive the Sorento I spoke to Jim. He was so helpful and even gave me rough quotes based on my wants. I setup an appt Sunday to test drive the car, he was so friendly and helpful. The first offer that came from finace was insulting (like I was an idiot who did no research before coming into the dealership). I told Jim this and explained to him I was not going to inch closer to my bottom line a hundred or a thousand at a time. He relayed my feelings and the second offer brought to me I accepted. I appreciated so much the no BS attitude. Jim was very thorough explaining the features of the Sorento and the pro's and con's to AWD. I usually do not trust car salesman but Jim I did. He truly seemed to be on my side.

Lisa was extremely friendly and easy to talk to, and she answered all of our questions perfectly. She gave us information via e-mail before we came in, then had the vehicle ready for us to test when we arrived at the dealership. I highly recommend that anyone who visits Power Kia asks for Lisa!

The car was a great price to began with ,then after some talking with Lisa ,she got the price down significantly from were it was to began with . She also went a step further and put a half a tank of gas in the car out of her own pocket .i never felt pressure while i was there and my experience was fantastic. Lisa was more like an old friend . She walked me through all of the power lots in the area and had a car brought from out of town for me to look at .so over all i would give my experience a 10/10.

My husband and I are on a tight budget. He is the only one working and I stay at home full time with our 1 year old. The employees were very kind and empathetic to our situation. We weren't able to obtain a brand new Kia Soul which we had hoped for, but we were approved for a substantial amount that landed us in an amazing car. They worked within our price range and we drove away happy and satisfied with our purchase and our experience

I went in on Sat 3/10 to buy a new Kia Soul. There was one on the lot in the color I wanted. Took it for a test drive and liked it. The sales person was very pushy. I felt very pressured during the whole process. At initial contact I explained I was LOOKING to buy a new car and only wanted to get some numbers to compare and work with. During the test drive the salesman kept asking what it would take for me to drive off with the car "today". I explained that even if he gave me the car free I was not interested in buying today only looking to get numbers to compare. He commented that if he let me leave today without a committment he might not see me again. When we got back to the dealership and sat back down at his desk he pulled out the sale and financing paperwork and started going thru it with me. About half way thru I realized what he was doing and told him I was NOT going to buy today, I only wanted to get some numbers to work with. He finally went to the sales manager and got the numbers I wanted, price of new car, estimated allowance for my trade, finance interest, etc. On Tues 3/13 I went back in to the dealership and told salesman we were ready to buy and could get the paperwork going. I explained to him that I wanted to have all the paperwork done today and my wife and I would be in the next day, Wed 3/14 to sign and pick up the new car. He and I spent an hour or so completing required information and getting the deal done. Once again he started pressuring me to "sign and take the car home today". I explained again I only wanted the paperwork done and ready to sign the next day as I needed to take my trade home and clean out all personal property. He insisted on "doing the delivery today" because he would be off tomorrow. My thought was 'enough already, you got the sale, someone else can deliver tomorrow'. Then, the next day my wife and I went in around 10:30 after a Dr. appointment to sign and get new car. No paperwork was complete! The F&I guy had to assemble the "deal" and get things ready before we were called in to his office to sign all required documents. Another hour of waiting. Unfortunately, this has been a fairly typical experience of past car buying episodes. Fortunately I have to deal with car salespersons only about every 5 or 6 years!

nice customer service. friendly sales people. I did not like starting with one sales person and ending with another. It was a little frustrating finding a lender with reasonable terms. I am satisified with my purchase, however my mechanic found a repair needed at $535 the week after I purchased. I will look to Kia Salem again when I buy another car because the sales people were easy to work with.

My experience at Power Kia was absolutely fantastic! This was the first time I ever bought a used car from a dealer and the staff was incredible. Any question my wife or I had, they answered completely. Our salesman, Michael Verton, is a no-pressure, no games kind of guy. We knew what we wanted and Mike delivered 100%! The finance guy, Lars, found us a great financing deal...and then found us an even better one.I am definitely looking forward to buying my next car from these fine folks!

Michael helped me get the car I wanted for the best price. I appreciated his sensitivity to my request to make the process quick and painless while still ensuring that everything was taken care of. From the time that we walked in to the time we left, we were treated with sincerity and professionalism. Bob explained all the details of the car with us and talked us through each step of the purchase. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The last step was financing. I cant remember his name, but he was great. He walked us through this last step with the greatest of ease. This is the third car I have bought from Power Kia and I will be back to buy more in the future.
