Went for my oil change on 7/24/12 and the young lady working as the cashier was amazing! She was able to answer all my questions. Also, the service did not take very long because I wait because I drive from Seaford to Preston to get my services done.

This edit is because the service manager had my vehicle towed back the day after I called. Further, the company did donate the service to charity so I hate that I had any problem at all. I still need to make sure that the engine was not damaged by being driven over 25 miles with at least one quart too much oil in it. The lack of communication by the service advisors is inexcusable. I took my car in for an oil change I won at a charitable auction. They called and said it was ready. When I arrived to pick up, they stated I need a new oil pan in the future because the drain plug was stripped. Strange since I do my own oil changes and use a torque wrench to secure. They also said it was okay to drive home. The next day I found a pool of oil on my garage floor. Checked the oil level and it was way above the fill mark even after leaking so much oil. They towed back to dealership Wednesday morning and I had to call Friday night to find out what was happening since they never bothered to call me. They said they put in an oversized drain plug. Really? What about the oil being dangerously overfilled which can damage the engine? Oh, they didn't know anything about that. Next stop, consumer affairs. I was a service director/manager for multiple dealerships and owned my own repair shop for 16 years and Montgomery County consumer affairs would have my shop investigate complaints for them so I know just a little bit about automotive service. This experience was pitiful.

I went to Preston because I bought my last 2 vehicles from them & was satisfied. Not the case this time. Paid for a remote start which was not installed properly & had problems with from day 1. They had to send me to a car audio place to get it working properly. Then they want to charge me for a second key fob which they ruined by using it to initially install remote start (had to be placed in dashboard). And I probably already paid for this key fob in the initial price. I will never do business with Preston Mazda again and will never recommend them to anyone. Lost my business for good.

I went to preston because of a good previous experience. Even though I chose to purchase elsewhere at that time - I decided when it was time for a new car I would return. What I expected to get was above average customer service and average customer pricing. Instead I got average customer service with above average pricing. I paid $200 below MSRP for the car, I knew I should have haggled but I'm just not a haggler and in the long hall 1k or so doesn't make a huge difference to me. When compared to ten of this vehicle purchased, I paid the most - including people with higher models and options. Don't go here if you aren't ready to haggle; they do have a great selection but you will probably feel like you are going to a used car lot the way the customer service is. I also called b/c an item that was supposed to be included was missing; its been a week and the sales person said they would get back to me and never did.It was a very minor issue but for someone that just dropped 16k on a car and seeing as they got a very decent check out of that you think they would spend the 15 mins to figure out what happened and ship the missing item. Bottom line, sorry preston - you got the sale this time and I'm happy with my car but I will not be back.

My first interaction with the Preston dealership came when I went to test drive the new Ford Fiesta. When we figured out that the Fiesta was not the car for us, there was no attempt by the salesman to try to convince us it was, or to sell us something different. He just asked if he could do anything else for us. When we said no thank you, he thanked us for coming out, gave us his card, and went back inside. Absolutely no pressure at any time.Second I went back to their website to see if there were any promotions on any cars that I would be interested in. I sent them an email to ask for more info on one and Derek emailed me back quickly with the information I was looking for. He asked if I was interested in coming to test drive the car (Mazdaspeed3). I responded that I would love to, but did not feel very comfortable driving a car with a manual transmission. He made arrangements to drive a loaner car until I felt comfortable enough to test drive the car I was actually interested in. He was not able to be in that day so he set me up to work with Karen, who was polite, energetic, knowledgeable, and very helpful. She ended up letting me take the Mazdaspeed3 home with me overnight to see if it was the car for me.After I got comfortable with the car and decided it was the one for me, it was time for the part of car buying that nobody likes. I brought the car back, met Derek, who I had only talked to via email and over the phone. He was very courteous and helpful. My wife had to work, but we decided that if they were unable to meet a specific monthly payment at 60 months, we would walk away. There was what seemed like a tiny bit of pushing to get me to go above our preset number, when it came obvious that I wasn't going to budge on my number, eventually they made it work. Overall it was the best experience at a car dealership I've had. After buying my first car, even just looking at a car dealership made me nervous. The people at Preston did a great job at making thing work for me and being very accommodating.

This dealer was very worth the purchase. The sales person (Effie) was a little over worked (was waiting on 3 or more customers at one time) but we were not unsatisfied. She was very good and was worth waiting for. The price we recieved was exactly where we wanted to be.I originally went to Kia of Felton and wished I started at Mazda of Hurlock.I will definately go back to Mazda of Hurlock. Effie Malec was great! The most important thing to me when purchasing an auto is having the salesperson listen to what I want and attempt to make a perfect fit. Effie did this! With no high pressure tactics or push to get into something pricier. My last purchase last year wasn't nearly so simple. This time, the vehicle I wanted was in stock and at the right price. She even entertained my 8 1/2 month old son while I concluded the financing with Jamie.Mary Jane was great in the pre-visit phone contacts and promptly replied to any questions I had and assured me they would find a perfect match. Couldn't have been any better.Jamie was very helpful and got the financing done the same night. Then he was able to revise the financing when I found a better rate at my own bank. Its this level of service that made me consider coming back to Preston. My last purchase was made in frustration at not being able to get the car I wanted when I wanted it (mainly due to it being the end of the Clunker Program and short supply)I'll be back, but I think I'll wait more than just a year between cars this time. I got what I wanted now.

Derek and everyone else I came in contact with at Preston Mazda were extremely helpful. They worked with me to establish a great monthly payment, stayed later than closing to assist me, and even worked beyond their scope of responsibility to help me achieve affordable car insurance. Derek went though every part and button on the cars interior and exterior, thoroughly explained the deals Mazda was offering at the time, as well as explained warranty information and the owners manual.

I talked with Derek Krucelyak at Preston over a cx-7 turbo that I had purchased from Pohanka of Salisbury. Pohanka was trying to make me pay $1600.00 for a fuel pump and egr valve that was still covered under warranty. Derek placed me in a new cx-7 at around the same price with more features. The guys at Preston were AWESOME. Great experience, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The service dept. was great and explained everything to me. The Preston guys renewed my faith that people are honest and want their customers to be happy. These guys treat you like family. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM PONANKA OF SALISBURY, THEY ARE CROOKS.

I recently made my second purchase at Preston Auto with the same salesperson, Karen Shirey. Very personable and easy to work with. She went out of her way to accomodate my needs for a tow vehicle to make sure that what I bought would do the job. Since I was looking for a used truck, some research was required which she pleasantly did for me. I was also very impressed with employee morale at this dealership. Every person I made contact with was very pleasant and helpful. They really seem to enjoy what they are doing.

After finding the car we wanted in the inventory on Preston's website, we submitted a quote request. Within 10 minutes Loren had called to discuss our request and confirm the availability of the car. Loren worked with us to get the price we wanted. Loren, Megan, and Dan (I think) were all great to work with, very helpful, and made us feel very welcome while we were at Preston's. The deal was exactly as Loren and I discussed on the phone, without any "up sell" attempts. We will definitely look at Preston's for future car purchases.

When I showed up at the dealer Christine Paulino had the car that I was interested in already pulled up to the front and was ready to be test driven. She also showed me other cars that I test drove. She wasn't a pushy sales women and was honest with me, which made the sale for comfortable for me. The finance manager Megan Ruark was also very informative and very easy to talk to. I traded in a 2009 Corolla at Preston and purchased a Mazda3, and it's a gem. I went to two other Mazda dealers, who were mediocre at best. Preston had the exact model, color, and options I was searching for and at a price I couldn't find anywhere else. I worked with Loren Mayr, and he was outstanding! I wasn't pressured to buy anything and Mickey really worked with me based on my needs and wants in a new vehicle. We contacted Loren by phone and asked for a price on a Mazda 6. He quoted us a price including all possible incentives and zero percent financing that was a bit less than we had been quoted from another dealer. It was late in the day but Loren said he would stick around after closing time if we wanted to make the drive in to look at the car. When we arrived the car was parked out front and ready to test drive. Everything went well and we purchased the car. Even though it was two and a half hours past closing time when the deal was wrapped up he was positive and friendly the whole time. It was a pain-free buying experience.

Christine was pleasant to work with. This was the second Mazda we have bought in the last 3 months and the main reason we returned was the service we have recieved in the past. Mickey really helped me figure out the ideal car for me, taking into consideration what I could afford and special features that would benefit me. He was very kind and cheerful, not pushy at all. He wanted to make sure that I was happy with what I was purchasing. It didn't matter how long the process took because he was devoted to me the entire time I was at the dealership. I told him exactly what I needed and he made it happen. Earl even made the trip to my house on his day off to discuss financial options with my family. Ive been to 10 different dealerships through out Maryland and Virginia in the past month or so and I never thought to look right down the street. This spring I decided to start looking for a small car that got good gas mileage. My station wagon was getting old and had a lot of miles on it. I also wanted something that was fun to drive as traveled back and forth to work. I liked the Mazdas and was attracted to the Miata. I was interested in one that was located t a small independent dealer near my home. I test drove it but it needed a lot of work and I decided against that car. I then test drove a few in York PA, they were very nice but the price wasn't what I wanted. I looked on line at Preston, I hear many ads on TV about Preston, and I saw that they had a couple of used Miatas. Preston is not too far from my home so I took a little venture up there. I need directions so I called and that is when I first spoke to Christine Paulino. She gave me clear directions and sounded very happy, welcoming and pleasant over the phone. Upon arrival she greeted me and offered a cool drink and snack since it was a hot day. It seemed busy in the shop but she and all her co-workers were very polite and mannerly. I looked at a few cars and Christine was knowledgeable and professional about the details of the vehicle. She offered her opinion and suggestions to help me come to a decision, but was never pushy. Christine seemed very relaxed and confident at Preston. She and her co-workers seemed to get along well, offering help for their customers and support for each other. I looked at, talked about, and drove this particular car, then I went home and decided to bring a friend up to Preston in order to get his opinion. Christine was very understanding and gave my friend and I time to look more carefully at the car. After a time I decided that I was happy with this car and wanted to purchase it. The cost was also debated a bit and Christine worked with me until I was satisfied with the purchase price. Then it was time for the paper work to be done and Christine handled all of that in a quick but careful manner. She went over all the details with me, answered my questions and we got the deal done! Christine Paulino made my experience with Preston a very positive one. I felt comfortable with her and would recommend her and Preston to others. She seems to have a lovely personality that would be a valued asset to Preston!

Great experience! They let me take home to try out two cars that I was interested in back-to-back and I finally settled on the second one. Christine was delightful and even had a smile on her face when she had to stop eating lunch to come and jump the car I was testing down the road, which was my fault. The people at the mazda dealership were who I dealt with and were great. In no way "in your face" salesmen, they were very real and laid back and always helpful. If it was not for Christine's knowledge of insurance I would not have been able to afford the car I am driving today.

I set my sights on a rare Mazda 6 wagon (they don't even manufacture them in the U.S. any longer!). After months on extensive online searches and even a road trip out of state that resulted in a "sale gone bad," I decided to call all of the dealers that had a Mazda 6 wagon listed online to see if they could get one of a different color, less miles, etc.Harry, the Preston Autoplex sales Manager, informed me that a member of his own family traded another one in a few days ago! It was the right color, had the right upgrades, meticulously clean and maintained and still had factory warranty!I was thrilled but, as a young girl supporting myself financially, I could not afford much on a car at all. Harry gave me an outstanding price! Furthermore, he offered to have the car delivered to me (I live 3 hours drive away) when I told him I would not be able to convince my Father to drive me out of state again because of the "sale gone bad" in the other state. These people are down-to-Earth. They know how to do business, especially when the economy is in the gutter. I feel like I paid exactly what the car was worth and their processing fee was very small compared to other dealerships. I did not feel scammed or conned, as I felt all of the months before test driving cars at other dealerships. These people are so friendly and straightforward. They don't go back and forth on the price with the higher ups. They really work with you.CONCLUSION: Best dealership in the Mid-Atlantic region!

I gave Preston Mazda all 5's because they have met more than anything I have asked for. When I first bought the car I was under a time constraint and I made the dealership aware of this. When I arrived, they had the car ready to go and the paper work layed out ready to be signed. It was quick, easy and very pleasant. The service department has also done an excellent job. When I needed to get my oil changed, I called in, made an appointment for that day, and when I arrived, it only took about a half hour. I recommend the Preston dealership to several people and I will continue to shop there because of the friendly service I have recieved.

Recently had to have my Mazda serviced at your location. Although I have purchased multiple cars from your dealership, I have at times found it less than convienient to service at your location. There have been different service advisors who were less than helpfull when it came to my needs (bent the key to my CX-7). The I met Jo-Anna Sparta. Not only did she work around my schedule and make it convienient and easy for me (she picked up my vehicle for a nominal fee and returned it). She made the entire experience a pleasant one. Our second purchase came about after meeting Earl while I was there for a complimentary new owner's seminar. At this time I let Earl know that we may be interested in buying a second Mazda. He stayed in contact informing me of inventory and incentives. When we were ready to buy, Earl was the man. He did everything he could to make the buying experience as pleasurable as it could be. Since then we have stayed in contact. I consider Earl a good friend and hope to be able to buy another vehicle from him in the future.

Mr Murphy was very pleasant and informative to deal with. I was comfortable with his explanations etc. The vehicle I selected is perfect for my use. My daughter has a 1992 Mazda that she is still driving and would not consider trading! This is why I was interested to start with, and the years service sealed the deal.

Im writing to share my experience of purchasing a Mazda3 at Preston Mazda. I cannot say enough good things about my salesperson, Karen Shirey. She was knowledgeable about the vehicle and took her time explaining each of the features. Karen was never overbearing and never tried to push us into purchasing the car. She listened to our questions and didn't make us feel as though we were wasting her time. When we purchased our Mazda from Earl last year it wasn't the typical deal with a "car salesman" Earl wanted us to have the car WE wanted, not the car he wanted to sell. The whole process was fun - he is the best sales person we've ever dealt with - honest, trustworty & all around great guy. Even though we've moved away from the area, we'll be back to buy. My Mazda 3 is the best. My salesman, Selbe Hubbard is the best also. I had so much fun at Preston. I never knew buying a car could be such an enjoyable experience. Selbe walked that lot with me until I decided which car I wanted. I must say, the mazda 3 was the correct choice. Selbe even played the "Zoom, Zoom, Zoom" song over the load speakers just for me....Great dealership....Great Salesman!!

My husband and I searched and searched for a good deal. During these hard times, getting the best price was top priority for us. We were online and noticed great deals at Preston. Shortly after disconnecting, I received a call from Selbe Hubbard. I must say, from the first moment I spoke with him, I was impressed. He found out what we were looking for and the amount of money we were willing to spend. Mr. Hubbard went to great lenghts to make sure we were satisfied. I bought a Mazda CX-7 from Preston about 6 months ago. When I first had set out to buy a new car it was because I was pregnant and needed a family car. I was greeted by a nice salesman named Ricky Lynn. I explained to him that I didn't know much about cars or what car would be best for a newborn. He took me on a few test drives while explaining every detail about each car. Eventually I decided that I liked the Mazda CX-7 the most. It had good gas mileage and had lots of space. After I decided what I wanted he explained all of the extra features I could get as well as the specials that the Preston Dealership offered their customers. He helped me get a moon roof, Bose sound system, and leather seats while keeping my payment down to what I needed it to be. He helped me a great deal and made my car buying experience easy as well as informative. If I had not had his help I probably would have settled for something I didn't like and would have paid a lot more for. I would recommend this salesman to anyone that wanted to buy a car. Not only was he the best salesman I have worked with but he goes above and beyond expectations for his customers.

My husband and I purchased a car for our daughter who was at college. Selbe was fantastic. He gave us lots of options based on our daughter's needs and was able to put her in a vehicle that was safe and economical. When she comes home for breaks, we call Selbe and he arranges for her vehicle to be serviced during her visits home. How great is that!

Customer service was excellent. I got a great trade-in deal for my 2003 Nissan Pathfinder when no other dealership was willing to work with me. The payments on my 2008 Mazda6 are about $100 less. All my questions were answered and Howard was extremely helpful. He brought the car to me to test out for a few days and took care of everything for me for the trade-in. I would come back again.

I purchased my CX7 from Preston. At first I was please with service and the vehicle. Shortly after the purchase, I began having problems with the car. I immediately phoned Mr. Hubbard. He provided me with another car to drive while the service center found the problem. My car was returned to me quickly and I haven't had any problems since. All in all, I will say, I am satisfied with the service I received at Preston. I will recommend Selbe Hubbard to my friends and family.

I met Christine and she was right off the bat honest and got me a deal from previous dealers. She listened to what I had to say and respected myself, my girlfriend, and her brother that accompanied me on the trip. She also went through the trouble of keeping us company and occupied as we waited for the paperwork to subside. She even dropped the car off at my house!! My experience with Preston made my car buying experience very pleasureable. The gave me many options and were very honest about which cars were really the best deal for me. The entire staff was pleasant, honest and friendly.
