I looked on Cars.com at this dealership and called in advance about exactly what I was looking for. The particular vehicle that I was looking at seemed to be priced under market value but had an excellent write-up and nothing bad on CarFax. The above listed vehicle was no where near what they described. The front hood had extensive damage from what appears to have been from a hail storm or left out at a golf course driving range. When I inquired about the other several remaining vehicles in my price range, they had all been sold just at that minute but they still had others available that were well above the prices I was quoted. It was at that point I demanded my keys back and left the dealership, never to return. I think they have a poor sense of how to conduct "honest and fair" business. Shop there at your own risk.

Well, I should know better. My wife and are were interested in possibly trading our truck in for an SUV. I have a lease (through this dealer) that I would have traded in early. My wife called on the way to the dealer and asked if the salesman I had spoken with was available (who I felt was honest during our first conversation). They told he was and that they had "4 hemi powered durangos on the lot". We then find out not only do they have ZERO hemi durangos...but only one durango at all, which was not even close to what we wanted. My wife and I got to the dealer to find the salesman busy with another customer (not his fault). We then were shopped around to two different "sales people" the second of which in my opinion needs to find a line of work outside selling cars, she is clueless. They never ran our credit, never offered to show any vehicles. Just offered that either buying a dodge journey (not even close to what we wanted), or to "buy out your truck right now" were our only "realistic options today". I receive my late fathers employee pricing, which they never really acknowledged. I feel that fact that they will not make as big a commission selling us a car or truck as they would with someone else, a tactic I have witnessed at another local dealership in barberton. Honestly I felt this visit was a waste of time and in the future will take my business elsewhere. I did receive a phone call today (two days after) from the last salesperson asking what could be done for us to get in a car. Further proof that this place was a one-and-done for me.

Don't waste your time here, go to another dealer that know what they are doing. I made an appointment on Friday to look at a van on Sat. morning. They sold the vehicle on Friday and never told me after I specifically asked them to call if the vehicle sold before my appointment. So I drove over an hour total for nothing. When I got to the dealership they could not even find the van for over twenty minutes. If this is how they treat a prospective customer I would hate to see how they treat their current ones.

My husband and I just purchased our second vehicle from Progressive and are so glad we came back. Once again, we just called Mr. Gordish, and he and Francesca found the perfect SUV for our family. It was completely hassle free. Dan listened to what we were looking for and his knowledge of all the different cars helped us make the best decision. Fran took us on a test drive and helped us figure out all of the new bells and whistles our old Cadillac didn't have. We LOVE our new Dodge! It has every option we could ever want and there is plenty of space for a family of five with two dogs. We felt they did an excellent job giving us our financing options. One more thing I would like to mention, we live over an hour and a half from the dealership. We came back again because our experience last time was just a good. We have recommended others to do so as well. Completely worth the drive every few years. They have another customer for life!

My husband and I went in to trade and ended up with two vehicles instead of one! We worked with Tom Farkas and had a very pleasant experience (even with our 3 year old running around). Well, shortly after, circumstances dictated that two vehicles were not going to work for us. So I worked directly first with Craig Sanders and then Tim Sanders and had another great experience. It is not often in business that the owners themselves care enough to work directly with the customer. They were polite and friendly and personally addressed my situation with the utmost professionalism. All and all, CLASS ACT at Progressive! When working with Tim Sanders, you know you will always be in good hands. Not only is he a dealer "for the people" he makes you feel as though you are part of his family by always personally taking care of the customers. I have purchased several cars from Tim over the years, and I have never been let down. Shane Clark also took his time in showing me cars and was a great product specialist. I went to check out cars at Progressive Dodge and only intended to get a quote for the car I currently owned however, as I entered the doors I was greeted by a friendly smile and hand shake by sales representative Fran Gladman who promptly worked through my requests and then continued to offer any other services as we looked around the lot. Wow what a relief no pushy salesmen just a knowledgeable staff who was willing to work with my concerns and if she could not give me an answer her manager Frank Longo was around to give a suggestion on a new Journey which we ended up buying the following.. My experience with Progressive was very positive. Our first contact over the phone was with Jackie Roseman. Her help and support convinced us to come in and look at Chryslers and Chevys. We looked at the Chevy first, but much preferred the Chrysler 200. Our visit resulted in the purchase of a Chrysler 200 Touring with the great help of Rachel Guerra and Frank Longo. They were very knowledgeable of their products and spent time getting to know us. I will recommend Progressive very highly to my friends and family. My experience with the dealershipo and the sales person who worked with me was nothing but excellent. Monteal Watkins was so knowledgeable and so professional. He explained everything about the Jeep even before I ask him. He anticipated your questions before you ask them. We took a test driv e which included every possible things that t=an individual coulsd imagine. He was polite, kind and was interstged in what was going on . Our car buying experience lasted many months due to problems finding the model and options we wanted. The Chrysler factory also delayed production because of a part out of stock. Frankly Frank....I am Impressed! I was not High Pressured. I was not given assistance by a car salesman that didn't know JACK about Trucks! I was VERY Fairly shown my Trade value without having my trade in with me. Then once they saw the truck, even though the new value showed lower...they held to their original estimate VERY close! I bought a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara from salesman Mark Hastler and it was by far the best experience I've ever had! Mark was able to trade a car from Progressive for the one I wanted that was in another dealer's inventory. They delivered mine within a few days, inspected it, detailed it and made sure I was completely satisfied. I really liked the way Mark negotiated the price with my trade-ins without beginning the process by asking me what kind of payment I wanted. Thank you Mark and Progressive! After looking at different dealerships and doing online research, decided on Progressive Dodge. GREAT experience. Jason Allman helped us out on the sales side and was great to work with. We made 3 different trips before we finalized our decisions, and there was never any pressure (well, not a lot) to make a decision NOW. Would go there again, and highly recommend Jason and the dealership. Only complain would be the price negotiations - that occur at all dealerships. That aside, 5 stars.

For a while I was thinking about upgrading from my 1993 Cadillac Coupe DeVille and buying a new car. I shopped around and found so many dealerships that would have loved nothing but to sell me a high priced, subpar vehicle, leaving me with a high intrest rate to pay off. However, after speaking with the owner Tim Sanders I was given the opportunity to build my credit with a 2009 "Deep Water Blue" Charger. Progressive did a fabulous job helping me buy my used 4wd Toyota 4runner! I found the car I wanted on line and they had it waiting and ready when I got here! They even let me take it home over the weekend and really test it out! And when my trade in broke down on the way in, they even made arrangements to have me towed here! I was in the market for a newer Dodge Truck, so I called Progressive Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Massilon OH. I was already to a Dodge dealer ship in Alliance and they didn't seem interested in selling me a used vehicle, after I had already purchased my last two trucks from them. I just purchased a new 2012 Dodge Cahllenger in white. My salesman Russ Ryder was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond on finding me my new vehicle. He located it at another dealership and arranged a transfer for me to be able to get it. They had a great selection and Tom was very knowledgable about all the different models I drove. Even took us on a great test drive that had varied types of turns, roads, bumpy, uphill, etc. Ended up with exactly what I wanted. To top it off, I almost forgot my sunglasses in my trade in and they were sitting on my seat of my new vehicle when I got in. Would've been horrible! But it proved they were honest. Thanks again!

My experience with the Progressive Dodge location in Massillon, OH was excellent. Everyone there (not just my salesman) was very nice and offered water and stopped to say hello if they weren't with another customer. My salesman, Kris Reinhart, was very patient, friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions, plus a few I didn't think to ask, and made the buying experience very pleasant. I would definately recommend asking for Kris to assist with your purchase if you go to Progressive Dodge.

When Jason is done finding the car you want and it is time for financing, go talk to Jim. He is the numbers wizard. He will go to every bank in the book and get the best price he can for you. Lastly, your gonna want to sign with Caleb. He is kind and will explain the millions of paperwork so that you understand and don't have to worry about getting a bad deal or anything you don't need. I had the pleasure of being helped by Mark Hastler, when I was looking to purchase a used car for my son. We had his car in the Dodge garage, as it had problems. With that, the service dept. was really nice and understood that the repair was going to be a ton of money, and the car may not be worth fixing. I started working with Mark on Monday of that week, and by Thursday we had a deal. There was never any pressure from the service dept. to make a decision, as they knew it was a big deal to me. This was important. I have been dealing with Progresive all my life, and I am 51 yrs old now. All the sales people, from the late Joe Chaterelli to Mark have all been top drawer. This characteristic is carried throughout the entire facility, whether you are buying in the Dodge lot or the Chevrolet lot. I will never shop for a vehicle at any location other than Progressive. We are blessed to have a first class operation like Progressive in our back yard. My hats off to the Sanders family for withstanding the storm and contiuing to build a great team..

D'Angelo was very patient as I decided which Wrangler I wanted to purchase, color, options,etc. Building my dream vehicle! I was at the location 4 hours becoming hungry. Frank Floor Manager bought me a granola bar to help my stomach growling. Later, as I worked through the details he brought me over a slice of pizza. What a guy. Tim searched 300 miles! What a team effort! Today I am driving my 2012 brand new Silver Rag Top Wrangler Unlimited Sport! I have been a dissatisfied owner of a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country that I purchased at Fred Martin Superstore in Barberton. I have had nothing but problems with this vehicle and more problems with Fred Martin's service department. I contacted Chrysler for help. Chrysler sent me to Progressive Chrysler to have a second opinion on the repairs. The service department at Progressive is professional, friendly, and courteous. Oh, I forgot honest. A salesman at Fred Martin called me 5/30 saying that Fred Martin wanted to help me with the problems that I have been having and get me out of our van. I thought this was an attempt by them to make right their wrongs. Not so. They insulted me with a trade offer and did nothing to help me. I had a service appointment already scheduled for 6/1 at Progressive. While I was at Progressive waiting for my van, I talked with Jeff Staib, a sales consultant, and told him my story about Fred Martin. Jeff asked for me to let him try to make things right with Chrysler products. I had nothing to lose. Jeff worked extremely hard to find the vehicle and options that I discussed with him. The sales manager worked hard to make a great deal. He offered a suitable trade in value and discounts to make the deal work. The finance manager worked equally as hard to meet my payment needs as well as search for the best rate. I was extremely happy working with Progressive's service department. I am now pleased to have purchased a 2012 Jeep Cherokee from Progressive and to never have to go back to Fred Martin again.

What can you say about a dealership that tells you with a straight face that the price listed on Cars.com was NOT the selling price, but actually their cost? Then they tried VERY hard to get me to pay about $3000 more than the price listed on Cars.com. After we haggled about that little conflict for the better part of an hour, then they claimed that I should pay for the vehicle having gone through their 21 point (or whatever) service checklist by their crack team of professionals. The only problem was that when I opened the radiator cap, the coolant was a beautiful shade of burnt orange! Nice job guys, you earned this rating.

Jeep Liberty listed at $16,960. Had a good condition Impala for trade-in. there first offer was $21,500 with trade. I finally bought the Jeep for well over listed price. In return they charged me $200 for a second key and an end to pre signing courtesy. Would not recommend Progressive Dodge, Jeep to anyone.
