Another great purchase experience without the high pressure tactics found at many dealers. I have purchased multiple vehicles here and have always been treated fairly and respectfully. I actually went to another local dealer because they had a trim/color package on the lot I wanted. I could not believe the sophomoric high pressure “sign here” type commitments they put me through trying to get to a price. I left and will not go back. I recommend riverfront for purchase and service needs.

Edit: Just purchased yet another vehicle from them. The easiest purchase I’ve made yet and I got a great deal. I literally wouldn’t buy anywhere else. Frank the manager gave me a very fair deal on my trade. Bob, our sales rep, went above and beyond and found a supplier discount! And last but not least, Vinnie the finance manager, made sure my payments were where I wanted them to be. ALSO, EVERYTHING was clean and sanitized and you could tell that they go the extra mile to keep customers safe in these crazy times. It was very much appreciated! Edit: my wife and I bought 2 more cars from Vinnie and Frank last evening. Service and deals were once again excellent! Vinnie and Frank were awesome. My friends and family have now purchased 5 cars in 2 years from them. Always a great deal. Always a great experience. Wouldn't buy anywhere else!

Everyone was so nice and helpful in the service department! Jessica in the office was exceptionally accommodating and answered all my questions! The technicians/mechanics were amazing too! I don’t even live near this dealership anymore, but I will never go to a different one. It’s worth the longer drive to receive great service. I’ve been to many of the other Jeep dealerships in the surrounding area and my experiences have been awful. Bring your Jeep here for all services!

Last weekend, I brought my car in to have the oil changed. As I stepped out of the car, I realized I had forgotten my purse. My mom had recently passed and I had been on very little sleep. I wasn't surprised at all that something like this had happened. As I was calling an uber to bring me back to grab my purse, Nathan noticed my dilema. He approached me and offered a solution. He then went above and beyond until my situation was resolved. I have always appreciated the excellent service I have gotten at this dealership. Everyone here has 'always' made me feel like 'more than just another customer'. For this reason I continue to drive out here from my current home in Oak Park. However, what Nathan did that day to help me out made me also feel like 'family'. Do not get your extended Chrysler warranty from River Front Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. They will over charge you! You can go direct to Chrysler... at 1 888 352 6103 number and save hundreds of $$$$ on the manufacture extended warranty. Don't get taken to the cleaners like me... I was over charged by $500. They report the $500 overcharge to Chrysler as vehicle prep, which was never done, nor does it appear on my paper work. River Front Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram has shady business practices. You should stay away from this dealership!

We saw a Jeep Patriot on line and sent an email asking about it. Brandon Huff was quick to get back to us. I then had to make a phone call to see if we could come look at it, he had the Jeep already for us to look and and took the time to show us other vehicles on the lot even though we didn't arrive until 7pm. He was very patient, thorough and very friendly!! We had a small issue with a paint chip that we discovered the next day and Brandon went above and beyond to fix the paint and made sure we were not inconvenienced!! A very pleasant experience from start to finish!!

I purchased a new 2016 Grand Caravan from River Front Dodge. Three months later I get a recall letter, so I called service to get the transaxle oil pump replaced. I talked to Mike... he was inconsiderate and condescending... telling me the repair would take 2 to 3 days... he could not give me a loaner... I had to wait 6 days to get an appointment. The recall letter stated "could cause a crash without warning". I told Mike I will call the general manager hoping to get better service. I never got a call back from the general manager? River Front Dodge has horrible service after the sale and does not care about customer safety!

Before coming to River Front we had a terrible experience at another dealership and the whole thing left a bad taste in our mouths. My husband requested appraisals on our vehicles and that's when Chris VarHagen stepped into our lives. He knew what we were looking for, what our price range was and catered to our needs. He walked us through the steps and explained everything in full detail. The whole process was painless and pretty quick. The previous dealership we were at jerked us around for 5 days, we were in and out within 3 hours at River Front. I HIGHLY recommend River Front and Chris VarHagen! I just bought a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee from here less than a month ago. When I left the lot there was less than a quarter tank of gas when I left the dealership.... I called to ask and they said no they don't fill up gas tanks when you purchase a car. My mother called my salesman and he offered if I brought it back to fill it up, which was nice I just think as an over all dealership if I'm buying a brand new 37,000 car they should atleast fill up my gas tank. That was a big disappointment

Not only did Chris and Phil go out of their way 2 years ago when I bought my Ram Truck to make sure I got everything I wanted, but they went out of their way today. It was my son's 16th Birthday and all he wanted for his birthday was to ride in a Dodge Challenger Hellcat. Chris talked to Paul & Dave and they made that happen no problem. He sat in the driver's seat and then Dave took him for a spin so he could see what it felt like to ride in a Hellcat. My son was so excited and they were very gracious with their time. I recently purchased a 2016 Dodge Challenger from River Front and had a great experience. From start to finish they were very different than any other dealership I went to. Nothing was "high pressure" or "let me bring over my sales manager". After days of car shopping and getting frustrated with high pressure sales people, cars that didnt have the features the dealerships said they did online, poor financing offers and low ball offers for my trade in I went on line and looked up reviews on dealerships. I decided it would be easier for me to pick a dealership with great reviews/reputation than to drive all over looking for the car I wanted and getting frustrated with the experience when I got there. (I knew if there was a car out there I wanted River Front could get it shipped to them.) I selected River Front because they were local and had great reviews on their sales people, finance office and overall great buying experience. In addition to looking up dealerships I also looked up reviews on the sales people at River Front before going. I worked with Chris VerHagan and Vinnie Mazany but Vinnie was the main person I worked with on this transaction. Vinnie Mazany was easy to work with, listened to what I wanted in a car and the budget I was looking to spend. Vinnie found the car I wanted at another dealership and had it shipped over. Vinnie worked with me on the price and gave me a great deal on my purchase. In addition to the buying a car I was trading in a car. I went to several other dealerships who were trying to low ball my trade in. I had done a lot of research on the value of my trade in and wanted to work with a dealership who was going to give me a fair price. I know the dealership needs to make money off my trade in but I didnt want to get ripped off either. River Front gave me a fair price for my trade in too. I would also like to mention that the finance office at River Front was very easy to work with as well.After the purchase was done Vinnie spent probably an hour going through the car with me and all of the features. If you are in the market for a car I highly recommend going to River Front and working with Vinnie Mazany! Vinnie is a great guy and he is very different than the average "high pressure" sales guys.

When I decided what type of vehicle I was going to buy, I spoke directly with Chris V. in their internet sales department. Chris was helpful in finding the exact vehicle I wanted and worked with me to schedule a drive, and make sure that wheat I said I wanted was actually what I wanted. Chris made it clear that every customer was important to him and the business. When there was something Chris had to tend to, his partners Vinnie and Brandon on the internet sales team were able to pick up where he left off. I always felt valued from when I stepped into the dealership to when I drove away. I understand that things may not always be perfect, I'm realistic. When there was an issue with the final delivery, each member of the team recognized the issue and took the appropriate measures to rectify the situation, all the while understanding my frustration. We found River North through an internet price search. Despite being about an hour away from our home their price and inventory caused us to make the trip. We sat down and discussed my needs and wants and looked at various cars on paper and then in the lot that would meet my expectations. I then was able to test drive the car and get a thorough explanation of the options and technology in the car. When I decided the car was for me Chris secured a phenominal trade in value for me and a good, honest, and fair discount and rebate off the price of the new car. I could not have been happier. I passed two other Jeep dealerships to go to this one from my house and it was well worth the effort. I highly recommend this dealership and specifically Chris VerHagen. Happy shopping!

I recently bought a 2013 Grand Cherokee at a very fair and reasonable price from this dealership. What I was most impressed with was the sales representative Randy Celaya. I called Randy from a internet sight which featured a fairly rare model of the grand cherokee(Laredo X) and River front had one. From the moment I hit the lot Randy was a gentleman as well as a businessman. He had a firm handshake, friendly attitude, was knowledgeable about the vehicle, and had the keys ready.The vehichle was, clean, had low mileage, and drove well. I bought it! Two days later I noticed red fluid leaking, I took a look see and it was a power steering line.... Immmediately called Randy the next day and with same professionalism he took care of it. I drove the truck back, was given a decent loaner vehicle, and the repair was free. The truck was ready the next day. I picked it up and after a 50 mile haul home, as I was ready to pull into my garage, I realized I had left my garage door opener in the loaner. xxxx. I called Randy and again, it was good. The remote was sent via UPS the next day to my home. Great cars, great service, and good people can be found at River Front-Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram. Ask for RANDY!

I've always been a lover of Jeeps and have always wanted to own one, so when the time came to replace my 2011 HHR I knew what my next purchase would be. I started researching Jeep dealerships and having just moved in the area I didn't know what to expect from each dealership. I looked at some Jeeps and online and inquired about them at several dealers. Rob Goldman the internet salesman from River Front, followed up on my interest right away and let me know they had several Jeeps I may be interested in. I let him know I had a trade-in that I still owed money on and he let me know it was no problem and he would give me a fair deal. So needless to say I went in a week ago today and came out with my new 2016 75th Edition Jeep Patriot! Rob was an awesome salesman and was very knowledgeable about the whole car-buying process, and about the several Jeeps I was interested in. We took a couple of test drives with a Compass and Patriot and I finally settled on the Patriot. He made sure I was getting the best deal and all the rebates, and when an issue came up about the HHR that I never knew about, it was handled in a way that made me feel very comfortable and positive about the deal I was getting. Chris was also very helpful and knowledgeable and made sure I understood exactly what I was getting and all that was involved. Even Darren in financing was very kind and talked me through the whole financing and warranties and made sure I was getting a payment that was well in my budget. It was a great and positive experience...and to top it all off I get a lifetime of free oil changes from them...awesome!! If any of my friends or relatives are looking to purchase a car I will definitely recommend River Front...thank you so much to Rob, Chris, Darren and all of the great people who work there!!

My 21 yr old son purchased a 2011 Honda Civic over the weekend, and of course he is very happy with his new car. He said that Rob Goldman was extremely helpful, professional, yet friendly. That Chris in Sales recognized him (probably from one of the other times we've been there to purchase 3 other vehicles from them) and made small talk with him. This kid is pretty smart, he mentioned that he noticed that although he's only 21, he was treated with a lot of respect and everyone was genuine and had his best interest in mind. I traded in a 1997 Acura ( worth $300) and left the dealership with a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 75th Anniversary edition. It was a fairytale. I also was privileged to work with a man named Darren in financing and warranties, and he told me an uplifting story about how he killed all of his grass first thing this spring. The camaraderie of the staff made me feel at ease and I really enjoyed my first car buying experience! If I buy again I would definitely return to this dealership, however I will probably have this car forever and be buried in it. Also important to note: this dealer has incredible selection!

One year ago, I had the pleasure of going to Riverfront Dodge and procurring my first new vehicle, a new Grand Caravan for my growing family. The salesman that stepped up to the plate and helped my experience be incredible was Randy Celaya. He took the daunting task of buying a new car and made it as easy going as he possibly could. He waas incredible, knowledageble, and above all patient with my needs. Fast forward one year and one totalled minivan later, I found myself needing a new vehicle yet again. I stop in Riverfront and it was Super Randy to the rescue. I was so depressed about losing a vehicle that meant so much to me and my family and Randy literally saved me. He walked me outside and showed me mulitple vehicles (and on a ridiculously snowy and windy day), took the time to exmplain everything, answer all my questions again, but above all, he made me feel happy and safe once more. He got me into a brand new Dodge Caravan again, worked with my budget, worked with our time, and stayed almost an hour after closing to make sure that I was 100% satisfied and taken care of. Awful finance department and management team. Don't go to River Front Chrysler unless you want to sink your credit score overnight. They'll promise you they will only run your credit once, but its a lie. They shotgun your social security to multiple lenders and the next day your credit score drops. Mine dropped literally 25 points by the next morning after visiting River Front Chrysler.I'm not even upset they undervalued my trade by at least $2k. The fact that they told me they would only run my credit once, and didn't is appalling and reason enough never to trust them or buy a car from them. In the meanwhile, it will take months to bring my credit score back due to all the hard inquiries.

We very recently purchased a beautiful Jeep Cherokee. I feel the pricing was great, but not as great as the customer service we experienced. We have some credit issues and were on a tight budget as we weren't expecting to be purchasing a vehicle for another year. They were so helpful and made it happen! The salesman (Chris) who we worked with was so personable and fun. He never once tried to push us in a direction we weren't completely comfortable with, which I appreciate more than words can say! This is the first vehicle that we have purchased from River Front. Randy allowed us to browse the lot and let us know that he was available if we needed him. We greatly appreciated that. There is nothing worse than somebody that hovers. We left and looked at other dealers and then came back to test drive the 2007 Jeep Liberty. We noticed some issues with it and Randy assured us that they would be taken care of. I am a no nonsense person, and very straight forward. I know I put him on the spot a couple of times, and he rolled with the punches. He made us feel very comfortable talking with him and he went above and beyond to make sure that we were satisfied. Where can I start. I purchased a 2015 Wrangler in January of this year. The car had some after market work installed on it before I purchased it including a lift and bigger tires. Within the first two weeks of driving the vehicle, the wheels almost fell off. I know what you are thinking, wheels don't fall off cars. My back left tire was down to 1 lug nut that was barely attached. More than 1/2 of the remaining lug nuts had fallen off the tires clearly they were not properly installed. Particularly more frightening is that I almost lost the tires while driving on the highway with my kids in the car. I contacted the dealer and they gave me several reasons why this happened. These ranged from the unlikely, someone tried to steal the tires, to the ridiculous, these things happen. After lengthy discussions with the staff at RFCJDR it was agreed that they would extend the warranty on the vehicle to allow for any collateral damage that may have been caused by the tires coming loose. When I went to pick up the vehicle and the new warranty, I was told that they would not provide me a warranty. When I played the voicemail of the RFCJDR manager who promised me the warranty would exist, the general manager said nothing like that could exist. Fast forward 5 months later and the step boards of my Jeep started rusting out. After a month of discussions, I was told to drop off my vehicle at RFCJDR and the warranty work would be done. To my surprise, they gave my vehicle to a person, I don't know who, who drove my car to Elk Grove Village to do the repairs. This was done without my consent AND they left my car on empty. Having had enough, I finally contacted Jeep corporate who informed me they would resolve the issue. After one day, I was told that RFCJDR has had several complaints for bad practices but since none of the managers remembered the situation, which is highly doubtful due to the unique nature of the situation, they would have to support the dealer in this situation. I started the week vowing to never purchase a vehicle from RFCJDR again and to spread the word to as many people as possible, however, being ignored by corporate has made me realize that I now will never purchase another Jeep product. I apologize for the length of this, but I can't stress enough how horribly I was treated and people need to know. Caveat emptor!

I found the EXACT Town and Country Touring-L van I was looking for on their web-site, and contacted Chris VerHagen and Rob Goldman by e-mail. They responded back to me with all the information I required. When I went to the dealer to see the van and meet with them, they couldn't be more enthusiastic about answering all my questions and working on a price that would satisfy me. What should have been a fairly quick and easy transaction turned into a nightmare!! I helped my parents, who are both in their 70's, with locating a new Town & Country. I found one that met their requirements (color, options) at this dealership. I spoke with Rob Goldman and we negotiated the price ahead of time. He even sent me a completed invoice. I informed him that my mother is on oxygen 24/7 and the process needed to be a quick one (her portable tank last about 2 hours). I told him that my parents were not interested in any extras (extended warranty, paint/interior protection, etc.) He assured me that since it was a cash deal that it wouldn't take long at all. He said the vehicle would be ready to go when we arrived the following day. He also mentioned that he would not be there, so we should see Chris VerHagan. The next day I made the hour long trip to the dealership with my parents. We arrived around 11:45 am. The van was on the showroom floor and not ready. It was dirty, had no floor mats, very little gas, one tire looked almost flat. Chris moved at a snails pace, asking questions that were irrelevant for a cash deal. He then sent someone over to push a $2700 paint/interior protection plan, then came the pushy extended warranty person both which were declined. At this point we've been there for about two hours and the van was still sitting on the showroom floor. Nobody was making an effort to prepare it for delivery. My dad asked Chris to confirm two keys/fobs were included for which Chris replied "I'll see what I can do". That's where things went south. We waited for close to an hour while Chris supposedly looked for the second key fob. During this time Chris said to a porter, "Wipe the van down and go put a little bit of gas in it." The experience was becoming very tiresome and aggravating to say the least. My mom's oxygen tank had to be filled as two hours had gone by. I asked to speak with the manager (Paul McSkimming) who hid in his office and never came out to speak with me about the delay and terrible experience. It was going on 2pm and still no second fob. I told Chris that I was taking my parents to lunch and we'd be back in about 45 minutes. He assured me that the van would be ready to go and a second fob programmed as well. I wanted to leave the one fob with him so he could program the second one but he told me it wasn't needed. When we returned about 3pm I expected that everything would be ready and we could get on the road home. Wrong! Chris said that he exhausted all options, and that a new fob needed to be programmed. He asked me for the one (that I insisted he keep when we went to lunch) as it was needed to program the other one. We waited for well over an hour for a fob that takes less than five minutes to program. They kept moving the van around, from the lot to the service area, to the back of the building, back into the shop area. It was a very frustrating experience. Around 4:30 (just in time to sit in rush hour traffic) the second fob was programmed and the van was ready. It took almost 5 hours for a cash deal on a vehicle that was already picked out!! I called the manager, Paul McSkimming about four times since the visit to the dealership on 7/2/15. He has yet to return my call. However, he did email me and blamed my parents for the delay that day, stating "your parents couldn't get around too quickly". My parents sat most of the time and had nothing to do with the delay or their incompetence. Now he is discriminating against a disabled person. In his email, he went on to state that he is successful and I would be wasting my time providing negative reviews online because everybody loves their dealership. He was not apologetic at all. He did not respond to my complaint about there being less than half tank of gas. He could have smoothed over the deal my calling my parents and apologizing for the bad experience. I will be contacting Chrysler corporate about this terrible experience. Beware!

We had been considering trading in our 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan and purchasing a 2015 model of the same vehicle.We began looking on line at various dealers to determine what was available and we decided to drive to River Front in North Aurora. We spoke with Chris VerHagen, Internet Sales Manager, and we came to an agreement regarding a 2015 Grand Caravan. We meet with Marilyn Imparato, Business Manager, who completed all the necessary documents to finalize the purchase.On the way home we discovered that the second row passenger windows didn't open and since our daughter and the dog would be sitting there this was not an acceptable situation.We drove back to the dealership and spoke with Chris about this issue and he spoke with Paul McSkimming, General Manager, and he said he would try to locate a Grand Caravan with second row windows that opened. Paul was successful and we returned to River Front and purchased that Van.We must express how pleased we were with the excellent service we were given by each member of the River Front staff that we dealt with in this process. My wife and I have had several bad experiences with the service department at this dealership, bordering on criminal. I strongly advise against going to this dealership for service.1. We brought in our 2012 Grand Cherokee for an error related to the fuel tank. After this first repair, a Check Engine Light appeared for the same issue, so we had to bring the car back a second time for the same issue. The second time, the car sat for a full business day with no diagnostic done. Only on the second day when I called for an update was I advised that it'd be looked at. Typical lazy dealership behavior, nothing major but frustrating.2. After a recent series of repairs (reported leaking shock) and maintenance (standard 60k miles) performed at Riverfront, my wife complained of shuddering in the steering wheel and an odd noise coming from the rear. Her and I discovered that not only had the inner fender liner on the right rear wheel well not been secured back in place (and so was rubbing against the tire), 4 out of the 5 lug nuts on the left rear wheel were NOT EVEN TIGHTENED AT ALL; in fact, they were not even touching the seats in the wheel. Only one lug nut was secured, and it was only finger tight. Fortunately it did not result in an accident, but this is downright negligent. We called Riverfront to advise them of what happened, advising the service Manager Mike that we'd be taking the car to another dealership to give it a thorough once over and double check the repairs done at Riverfront as we simply did not trust their workmanship. Mike told us to bring the car back to RF, and said that he'd have his "best technician" review it. We brought the car in for that service this morning. Not once during our several-minute phone call or the in-person meeting this morning did Mike or ANY of his staff offer an apology. 3. We advised the staff at the RF service department that my wife would need a shuttle to pick her up from her place of work about 5 minutes down the road from the dealership at 5pm. We were assured by David the technician that the shuttle driver knew where the place was, and that she'd receive a call when the shuttle would arrive to pick her up. She received no call, and no shuttle ever showed up. Both David and Mike conveniently had left the office when she finally got there, with the help of a co-worker.4. We discovered after the previous visit that RF had actually removed the front and rear license plate frames of the dealership we actually purchased the vehicle from (NOT RF) and replaced them with their own. We definitely did not ask for this to be done, and when I asked Mike to put the old ones back, he casually said "We don't have them anymore." So it is apparently within RF's business practices to arbitrarily change aspects of your vehicle totally unrelated to the actual service being performed, and dispose of what is essentially your property without even asking. 5. I've also noticed a nice series of scratches that extend from 3/4 in from the top left corner of my Nav screen all the way down to the bottom right corner, deep enough to have cut right through the first layer of film on the screen. 6. Finally, we've got some nice black smudges on the headliner and the sun visors from an apparently careless technician who did not remove his or her dirty gloves prior to touching the fabric (for whatever reason they'd need to actually touch those parts of the car).

A cash deal on a new van took 4 hours!! I called the day before I made the trip and told Chris and Rob I wanted it to be a quick in and out deal. I was helping my parents with the purchase of the van (as they don't like dealing with car salesmen, who does, right?). My mom is on oxygen 24/7 and had to fill her tank (which lasts about 2 hours) because the process took so long. They try to push a paint/interior protection plan for $2500+, an extended warranty both of which I told Rob and Chris the day before that my parents do not want!! Then it was a huge deal to get a second key! Chris said he would try to find it and if he couldn't he would mail it within a week. It was going on 2:00pm and we decided it would be best to go have lunch while they searched for the other key. I suggested they keep the one as they would need it to program the other. Chris told us to hang on to it, it wasn't needed. We were gone for about 45 minutes, returned to find out that they had a new fob but it needed to be programmed. They needed the working fob to program the new one!! If they would have took the key when I offered it then the new one would have been ready when we returned from lunch!! Now we had to wait at least another 30-45 minutes for them to program a fob which takes literally one minute!! I asked for the sales manager who didn't come out to speak with me about this terrible experience. At 4pm we left the dealership and, as I expected, hit rush hour traffic. What should have been a 45 minute drive home took about an hour and a half. What should have been an hour, maybe 90 minute easy deal turned into a half a day, stressful, aggravating experience. I am glad that I went with my parents or they would probably still be there. It was a terrible experience and we will never purchase from this dealership or recommend them to family, friends, etc. I regret not driving another 30 minutes to a dealer in Wisconsin who offered to sell the same model van with same options for $500 less. The sales guy said that he would even buy lunch. His exact words to me in an email, "I can get you another $500 less than the other guy (meaning River Front), some burgers and a smile if that'll seal the deal". It would have been nice if Chris or the manager offered to pay for our lunch for the delay and huge inconvenience. But I didn't expect it because they didn't even fill up the van with gas. There was less than a half tank when we left. You buy a $35k brand new van and they couldn't spend another $75-$80 to fill the tank. Live and learn! Fortunately, my parents will be taking the van to Bettenhausen in Tinley Park for service!

Never felt so insulted by a dealership. Wouldn't let me test drive the car I was interested in because I told him I wasn't buying until next month. Called the Manager and he says "That's a gray area. We had a Taurus stolen from us a couple weeks ago." So I guess now I fit the profile of a criminal. When I do drop 50k on a new car, it definitely won't be with them! Terrible experience!

I do have to say that everyone was very patient with me and my switching cars, but they understood my need to get something that I wanted to spend the money on and not just something to get something, if that makes sense. Vidal exceeded our expectations by patiently taking the time well into the evening to answer our car model and feature questions, allowing us to compare and test drive vehicles and ultimately select the best vehicle and features for us that will benefit us for years to come. Once we selected the model with the features we wanted, Vidal patiently worked with us without pressure during the sale process to to feel satisfied the trade in of our 13 year old vehicle we purchased new and our new purchase. Worked with Salesperson Vinnie. He wasn't pushy and very hospitable. Vinnie did tell me I would get free oil changes and I find out they are $80.00. So, I don't know if I was lied to or not.I almost went to Lindsay Honda/Acura in Columbus, Ohio. The largest one in the country. They make it fun to purchase a vehicle from them.(i.e. drinks,popcorn, bend over backwards for you etc) . I went to McGrath Lexus in Westmont, bad attitude and will stereotype individuals. I liked the Chrysler 200 and could have went to Neuwirth Chrysler in Wilmington,NC., 2 weeks prior, but I didn't . I just love southern hospitality and you don't get the vibe when you walk into this dealership. Being respectful goes along way and it could make a business grow. If its not in the people, than it isn't gonna happen. Happy with the car, its great on gas. It was a positive experience, except for the free oil change story I was told. They seem to not car after the car is sold. Some people don't care ,because they act the same way. I would recommend the dealership and to go to see Vinnie and keep him on his toes and honest.

Had a GREAT experience with Randy Celaya. He fought tooth and nail to get us the deal we wanted on a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I've been to many, probably too many, dealerships purchasing cars and this was BY FAR the best experience I had. No pressure to make the deal and Randy is very understanding of your needs. We had our hearts set on a new Durango but after we crunched the numbers it just didn't work out, mainly due to out trade in. Most dealerships would of thrown us the "take it or leave it" attitude but Randy really went out of his way to get us in the right SUV. He showed us a beautiful Jeep Grand Cherokee and worked his butt off to get us the right deal. The wife is even happier in the Jeep than she would of been in the Durango. Hats off to both Randy and Tony, finance manager, for doing a heck of a job! You would be foolish to purchase another Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram from anyone else. I'll be back in the spring to hopefully purchase my 2015 Charger from Randy.

It's easy if you find the SUV you're looking for and drive 15 miles to go purchase it. That was not my situation. I found what I was looking for online and started to do my dealer research on Riverfront Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. Not only was I impressed but this salesman Randy Celaya seemed like he was the salesman I wanted to deal with. After a couple of phone conversations I figured I could buy my next SUV from him. Randy was a no nonsense, no smoke and mirrors ready to give you a great deal on a vehicle. Now here is my situation......I live 300 miles away! Up at 5 amto see if we could work out something. After a test drive we talked numbers (no pressure) and I bought the SUV. On top of that they gave me what I wanted for my trade in after driving it, no hassle. This was the easiest vehicle I've ever bought. In and out of finance in 20 mins. The longest time was just printing the contract. Go see Randy at Riverfront he will work out a good deal for you. I absolutely HATE shopping for used cars. I went to another dealership, and told them how much I wanted to spend, and they asked how much I wanted to pay per month. I'm actually really good at math, and I detest that particular ploy to get you to spend more dollars than you can actually afford. We told them what we wanted to drive, and they told us it wasn't available, even though it was listed (and is still listed) on their website. Thank goodness my daughter went to River Front Chrysler the next day and drove a car. Her father and I went back with her and had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Randy Celaya, Sales/Leasing Consultant. We made an offer, and within five minutes he came back with a counter offer that was completely fair. He was knowledgeable, efficient, extremely personable and funny. I will buy cars from him for as long as he keeps selling them. I highly recommend him to anyone in the market for a new or used car.I would also like to applaud his manager (never met the person, unlike the other dealership where we had to meet with him, too), who either came up with the counter offer or approved it. I appreciated not having to deal with the manager on top of the salesman. Great job River Front! We will be back.

I stopped by the dealer with my daughter just to see what types of vehicles she was interested in but hadn't planned on buying anything this particular day. Randy Celaya was very patient as we walked through the lot. He was very knowledgeable of all the vehicles we looked at and pointed out some very nice, affordable pre-owned vehicles that might have interested my daughter. Randy was very low pressure, which I personally liked, and we ended up looking at a Chrysler 200. This 2011, 200 was fully loaded, all the bells and whistles, and my daughter was really interested. Randy talked us through the different options for financing and we ended up driving off the lot with my daughter's "new" car in just a couple of hours! My hat is off to Randy for his professionalism, patience, and sales ability! We ended up getting a great deal on the car and I will absolutely come back to this dealer in the future. I would definitely ask for Randy when I come back!

I recently purchased a Town & Country van, wasn't thrilled with it, so a month later I traded it for another T&C. I used the same salesman for each sale. I insisted on him for the second sale because he was just so wonderful, even though he was busy and I had to wait for him to finish with another customer. He was concerned about what I needed/wanted, and was very good about getting me the best deal he could. He was also very friendly, he's the kind of guy you wish was your neighbor. My daughter suddenly needed to get a new vehicle, so I took her straight to Randy, and he set her up and she's very happy with her new car. 2 of my other children need to buy new cars too, unfortunately they are n different states or I would send them to Randy, too! Everyone at Riverfront is wonderful, they treat you like you're old friends. From the service guys to the salesmen to the finance guys, they're truly great. My wife and I test drove a used Grand Cherokee. There was some speed related noise so the sales staff suggested the service department look at it.The service department sent the car on a test drive with a technician. Upon returning from the drive the technician assured us that the noise was just tire/road noise.Feeling confident that the service department from a JEEP dealer would know their stuff, we purchased the car. I guess I should have known better. The noise was not tire noise but a bad rear differential. I called the dealer but they were unwilling to help.We ended up paying lot of $$$ to repair the differential.

I have a complaint with the buying experience and vehicle that I recently purchased. They provided me with a rust free vehicle that had a new Jasper transmission; nitrogen filled Michelin tires, spotless interior, with exceptional exterior. We took a test drive to demonstrate the features and benefits of this vehicle. All accessories worked as if the vehicle were new; there were for sets of keys, and even an owner's manual. My complaint was that they never pressured the sale and the owner's manual was not in it's original valise. They had the porter completely detail the interior and exterior of the vehicle, and ever applied dressing to the Michelin tires. Transaction finalized in about an hour. But when i walk in the finance office was the worst thing that i could of done. The manger's attitude was terrible towards me with out respect towards me giving me attitude .And the only reason i bought the car was because Ted was a great salesmen and because i need the car for my business or else i would of just gotten up and left. The website was very helpful to start, it let us know that they had the vehicle we were looking to get. Upon arrival, Rob met us, got the vehicle we were looking to drive and we went for are ride. His responsiveness and low sales pressure over the next two weeks was great. He understood that we needed to work around our kids schedule. When finally getting back into the dealership, Rob helped up with a completely different vehicle than we originally met about. We told him our out the door cost and he made it happen - he was great. When first walking into the River Front showroom I was greeted by a very pleasant woman, Beth Gunzler. No matter how many times I passed by her desk, she was always smiling, welcoming and helpful. My visit then led me to Dave Semp, a very nice gentleman who introduced me to Rob Goldman, my salesman. Rob was professional, friendly, warm and sincere. He played along just grabbed his jacket when we took the Sebring Convertible for a test drive with the top down, and it wasnt the warmest of days! His continued attention to detail made purchasing a car a pleasant experience. Frank Koral was very amiable and did not fall into the stereotypical used car manager image so often portrayed in the movies; he was professional, honest and good looking! Corey Spooner in financing provided an informative, educational experience. I learned about the financing, warranties available and the gentlest carwash in town! Mike Bender is the detail guy rust proof clear coat = you name it he does it! Jeremy in service certainly went above and beyond a couple of things needed to be taken care of on my sassy convertible and he went one step further and fixed the third, much to my surprise I thought it was a lost cause such excellent customer service! Mike Goehring, the service advisor, was very informative and accommodating. One more gentleman, in the service department, Gary, was very nice and stayed late with Jeremy when we were looking at a couple of details on my car special thanks to your wife I hope she wasnt to upset that you were late coming home! Obviously my experience in this dealership was nothing but professional and pleasant. I have been a customer of this dealership for 7 years prior, having utilized the service department on my 2004 Sebring Convertible. I have always had an excellent experience and this was just icing on the cake! Thanks to you all - you represent a gold standard that other dealerships should live up to!

My boyfriend and I recently purchased two cars from the River Front dealership in Aurora. I bought a 2008 Chevy Aveo on October 5th and Tom bought a 2011 Jeep Patriot on October 12th because of the experience we had when we purchased my car. We worked with great people while we were there who, in our opinion, did everything they could to get us the best deal possible and they did! It was an awesome experience especially for me since it was my first time buying a car completely on my own. We both worked with Rob who is one of the nicest guys we have ever met. You can clearly see that he was working for us and not himself which was a breath of fresh air. He told it to us straight which was unexpected but greatly appreciated. We visited 4 dealerships before we went to River Front in Aurora and every salesman we encountered was a tool. So thanks to Rob for treating us like people! Terry got my boyfriend Tom a great deal on his Jeep Patriot. Tom is so incredibly thankful for that because we know it could not have been easy. Cory was a really nice guy and very professional. He broke things down for me because I wasn't understanding all the car lingo logistics. So thanks again for everyone who helped us. Rob Goldman was very patient and friendly. He was knowledgable in all the vehicles we test drove. He and the finance office worked hard for us to keep payments where we wanted them. We left with 2 used cars, with payments well below the limit we stated. As the the score of "good" for customer service, we were there most of the day, and he did not offer us anything to drink the whole time, he says he did, but I think he was so involved in getting this deal to work that it just never came out of his mouth! We forgive him! We had gone to dinner and we returned with friends that ended up purchasing a vehicle as well.

We were honest with the receptionist and told her we didn't want to waste a sales person's rotation, as we were just window shopping. We were greeted then by our sales person Nate. Between the test drive, demonstration of the car and Nate's enthusiastic presentation.....we looked on Friday and purchased on Monday! Rob was very friendly and honest. After I chose the style and color I wanted, Rob attempted to find availability of my car choice. While what I wanted was not available, I did finally buy a car off the lot that had some upgrades even though it was not my color choice. I am pleased with the car and my only complaint is that it does not have a universal garage door opener. We discovered that after I purchased it but I'll survive. Rob was very nice to do business with. He made sure I was satisified with my decision and he also took a lot of time explaining all the functions of the car, especially the electronic dashboard. Our experience with james was so good that everytime we went back to the dealership we asked for him. The price is good and james worked well with us, I only feel that all vehicles are overly priced and a customer never recieves what their trade in is truly worth keeping in mind that the dealer needs to make money on it as well.

Went to buy a new truck. I feel the sales men did not know the product the best he should. I asked him what rear gear th truck has In it. He supposedly looked it up and told me a 390. Which is what I wanted. I received my build sheet from dodge and it has a 355 gear. I am kinda upset about this and not sure what I can do to get it fixed. Also I wanted to have the factory brake controller installed. He insisted they do not make one for the 1500. But I have since bought it online. Also The total price was more then he finally told me. And he snuck in some extras that I did not want and that cost 4 times more then they should. Also this dealer is charging for wheel locks. I received my build sheet and the wheel locks are included in my build sheet. So I should get a refund from the dealer, pluse tax and the finance charge. One of the extras he snuck in. I had to bring my truck back to the dealer to have it installed. It took 1 hour before they figured out what was going on? Then it took all day to have them install them. The extra is not a mopar part but the sales person assured me that they will say Dodge on them. Well they do not. Other then these little items I was pleased.

We drove 70 miles to test drive an 05 Magnum R/T. I had been negotiating on-line with James for a couple of weeks along with a few other dealers with Magnums. James came down in price right off the bat which lead to our setting up a test drive. In all the years I've dealt with "New/Used Car Salesmen", James was by far the most comfortable I've ever worked with. We decided to purchase that night. Although it took a while for the paperwork to be completed, we were very happy with our dealing with Terry in finance. Also a very likeable guy. Knowing we had a long ride home, James filled the tank for us. At $4.29 per gallon and a 19 gallon tank, we figured it was another $70.00 savings. There are a few minor issues that are yet to be resolved, however, I am very positive James will see them through for us. All in all, we feel the folks in and around the North Aurora area are fortunate to have River Front Dodge and staff to deal with.S. Kush

We went to get warranty work for our Jeep at this dealerships service shop. We knew what was wrong and told them. They told us there is a $100 deductible on the work and we were ok with that. The service guy called us back and gave us about $800 worth of work that was needed and none of it was covered under warranty. We told them not to do the work because it didn't sound right to us. When we got there we were suddenly told that there was a $100 check out fee which we were not aware of, but the guy claimed he told me which was not true, and nowhere was it in writing. I believe they did this because we were talking the car somewhere more reasonable. They claimed it was to check the car but we already knew what was wrong and told them. We argued for a bit and we were called liars, then the service manager proceeded to put a hand in my wife's face while arguing. After we said forget it let's just pay and get out of here they refused to take a check from us and said cash only, well we don't carry cash so they refused to give us our car so we ended up calling the police to come. Funny how when the police showed up the service manager suddenly reduced it from $100 to $50 just proving my case that he was a liar. I would never do business with these people again and me and my wife both own Chryslers.

My wife and I were shopping used minivans. they had a van in the right mileage & age range, we test drove. Pleasantly, the salesman stayed on the lot. Their asking price was in the ballpark for a van in top shape, but it had multiple mechanical, appearance, and interior defects. In fact, the upholstery was so worn, either a family of 8 live in it 24/7 or the odometer only showed 1/3 the actual mileage. Maybe the first owner, maybe the dealer, but somebody wasn't playing it straight. No interest on my part in doing business with a dealer that is either competence challenged or ethically challenged.

Strange experience - we test drove a terrific vehicle overnight and came in witha nice trade and loan ready. Made offer on this new vehicle we really wanted, got song and dance from sales rep and mgr. about our trade's value being "not even in the ballpark:." No negotiation from them - no exact price on new van, no exact figure for the trade. We left, next day we get the call from salesman that our trade was worth more, they had someone who'd buy it, blah blah blah. We ended up buying from Dempsey Chrysler Dodge in Plano, where we got an exact price on the new van, a fair price for the trade and a decent interest rate. <br><br>

Not-too-bad experience with service (minor repair) for older car, but very bad experience with sales manager. They tried to sell me a car at first which had repair problems. Then, they tried to play price games. When manager was confronted, he was rude. I wouldn't buy from them.
