I had my Buick at another shop for over a week and they could not figure out why my car would stop. I took it to river town over night. They open at 8 but Roy at GMC called me at 7:30 am to tell me they have my car and are looking at it at that moment. An hour or so later he called me with what the issue was. Two hours or so from there he called me to let me know my vehicle was ready. The service was so quick and prompt I couldn't believe it. After having my car in the shop for over a week I was sure they'd take at least a few days but they didn't even take half a day. Roy was awesome. Gave us a military discount and was very courteous.

The dealer went above and beyond to accommodate me with my service issues being that a certain warranty had expired on my 2015 Yukon. Mr. Mike, the service coordinator, is always professional, detailed, and had my issues corrected in a timely manner. I Love Rivertown GMC and highly recommend them for purchasing and servicing anyone's vehicle!

EVERY time I have used GMC service the wait is double and triple what I'm told. Makes no difference if you call ahead and make an appointment. Since buying my 2012 GMC Acadia we have had to endure FOUR recalls. Today's was the liftgate which after waiting twice as long as I was told, was worse when I got home then it had been before I brought it in. I immediately called Mike who handled my paperwork but he was not available so I asked for the manager who was also not available. Left messages for both at 9:45 am, 10:45 am and again at noon. Also went online to ask for assistance and was assured a manager would call me back. No surprise that NO ONE HAS CALLED BACK! This is the second time this has happened. Four recalls, no customer service and inept mechanics. Can not post without one star or there would be NO stars.

I have to say that I have been using this dealership for years and I have to say both Amanda,the service advisor, and Veronica, service technician,tried very hard to understand exactly what I was trying to explain to them and never once treated me like a person that had very little knowledge of a vehicle. For once, with a technician I felt like someone was actually listening and trying to help me out to the fullest. I absolutely love that about these 2 young ladies that you have working for your dealership and I am very pleased to see that women who are like me are doing jobs in all types of workforce. If you are looking for a new or used car and want a dealership with great service go to Riverside in Columbus and ask for Gerald Goss {the ice cream man) We have always dealt with Jay Pontiac but got service like never before here at Riverside. He was very nice and fully explained and demonstrated every feature of the car we selected as well as future service, warranties, etc of the car. I wrote email requesting availability of an auto. It took approx. 2 weeks for a reply. In the reply-no mention of the auto. I am very disappointed in the quality of communication. That leads one to consider not doing business with another who can not respond to even a possible sale.

Wasn't sure what I wanted when i walked in but Robert knew the answers to the specific questions I had about a particular vehicle. He showed me the car I wanted. He didn't pressure me but was very patient to answer my questions about the car buying process. I had to leave the dealership but was pretty sure I wanted the car. When I got back it was very late in the day and Robert (and the rest of the team) worked to get the deal done so I could drive out with my car that night. I would definitely go talk to Robert again.

Rivertown Automotive Mall:Used Car Supercenter Chris Kennedy heard my story and began to show me the cars that I really wanted. He began by getting me what I asked for, then when he got a little background he began showing me what inventory I needed to see to be where my wife and I needed/wanted to be. This was the first time I was able to get in, see inventory, and purchase what I wanted, with no hassles. I am now the proud owner of a 2011 Chevy Cruz. Job well done Chris! Chris Kennedy from the Buick GMC Used Car Super Center was such a great help. He was patient with my requests and was able to find me something BETTER than what I originally hoped for. I am not from this area. My husband was recently stationed here. Due to his demanding work schedule as a D.S and our cureent living situation with me not being able to join him here in Columbus until August. He is unable to get to the dealership during regular business hours. His radio has been broken for 2 motnhs now. Not a huge issue but whenever you purchase a new vehicle, you expect even the smallest details to be perfect :) I visit once a month for 4 days (thursday-sunday). Not being familiar w' Columbus, the only dealership I saw was Legacy because I drive right be it. My visit last month, I went in on a Saturday around 1pm. The sales guy stopped me as I was getting out of my truck to inform me that their service dept. closes at 2pm on saturdays and advised me to come bacnk during the week. HECK! I missed my windo of opportunity. So whenever I returned this month for my monthly visit, they were closed on Thursday evening whenever I got into town. So this morning at 9am I called the service department before taing my truck in. I have never received such terrible customer service in my life! "Mandy Tanner" informed me that they only see vehicles on appointements, so if I were to just come in, they would not even be able to diagnose my vehicles problems today. The earliest I could schedule was next week. Well thats a problem. I kindly explained my situation and told her I was only in town until Monday. She then questioned my husbands work schedule and his job responsibilities. This after her solution to my problem was their courtesy shuttle. I reformed her that as a D.S. HIS WORK HOURS WERE 4:30AM TO SOMETIMES 1000PM NEVER EARLIER THAN 7PM.She then informed me that my only option was for him to request days off. Her attitude was horrible and I have never been talked down to in that manner. They only thing I could thank her for was giving me the number to you guys because "we may not be as busy as them". Roy was so accommadating not only on the phone but also in person. He explained that they were busy today but to bring the truck in and he would work it in. He had to order a new radio so the truck still wasnt repaired today but thats all I was asking for. I asked if there was anyway he could rotate and balance thee tires today (thinking most likely not with their busy schedule) He not only assured me it wasnt a problem but also suggested I take advantage of the special they were currently offering for oil changes and rotate the tires. We work hard for our money so I always appreciate someone trying to save me a buck or two. He was very patient the entire time as I was having to phone my husband to see what he wanted to do (that truck is his baby) He then went above and beyond by reccommending local shopping centers where I could enjoy shopping and mani/pedis while I waited on the service. He arranged for the shuttle. When I took the shuttle, the lady, Pat, was so kind and friendly. She drove me exactly where I wanted to go and made me feel so comfortable. Roy phoned me when my truck was readt for pickup and sent the shuttle back to get me. To my surprise, Pat picked me back up. These 2 people took such good care of me. So warm and kind. This is what southern hospitality is like! Now I know! Upon arrival the check out procedure was very easy and Jeannie Sharp, at the cashier office did not give me any trouble about taking my husbands credit card # without actually having it wiith me. She was also so nice and friendly. If I could give an award it would be to these wonderful people. The absolute best customer service I have ever received in years! So accomidating to my circumstances. These individuals should be personally recognized for making your business so successful. I am glad that Mandy was wrong whenever she told me that "this is the way things are done in Georgia". I truely believe everything happend for a reason and my unfortunate encounter with her lead me to Rivertown Buick GMC Service. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I bought the most fun car in the world, the Fiat 500c. I really wasn't sure what I was looking for but Daniel Slavy searched to find the perfect car for me. Not only did Daniel search for a car that matched what I was looking for, he was knowledgeable about the cars he was telling me about, patient and kind during this whole car buying process. I am a repeat customer primarily because of the exceptional service I recieve from the Service department at rivertown Buick GMC. Roy Coppage is the best service technician I have ever had. I wouldnt let another person take care of my Sierra or Acadia.

Shopped online first. I was able to get the trade in value from home first (huge plus!) The dealership was clean and a easy to find. It is easly visible when you first turn into the automall keep straight Rivertown Buick GMC is in the back. My salesperson had the truck ready and pulled up front when we arrived. Most of the paperwork was already prepared. We asked for this to save time. Total time at the dealership about 1 hour. i would definitly recommend.
