I just bought a jeep renegade. I dealt with Tony, he's by far the best sales person I have ever worked with. My whole experience with Romano was amazing. Every staff member I encountered was great. Thank you so much.

I leased a 2014 Ford Escape 3 years ago from Romano Ford and the service was great. My lease was up last week and because I loved the Ford Escape I wanted to lease the 2017. I couldn't be more happier. I love my new car! Bob Klix my sales person was outstanding! Went over every detail with me, answered all my questions even the silly ones and gave me the best deal along with Eric Konick. They were both involved with my first lease 3 years ago and once again they were the best! I drove out with my new car this past Tuesday and was so excited that I sent my brother to Bob also because he was thinking of leasing one too. After discussing the options with Bob and going over all the figures, he also left a happy customer. He signed to lease a new 2017 Escape Titanium yesterday! As far as I'm concerned......Romano Ford is my "car family"! Thank you Bob and Eric!

My wife and I bought a new Ford Fusion at Romano Ford in Fayetteville this past week, and it was a great experience. The sales representative, Justin Hamad, was terrific. He was very patient with us, and interjected very relevant information at key points. We bought the car with financing, and Justin and the sales manager worked overtime to get us a very low interest rate. Let me just add that whenever I brought my old Fusion to the dealership for service, the experience was always first rate. I would recommend this dealership without qualification.

I had leased and bought at least three Explorers from this dealer in the past 20 years, so am familiar with their high standards and demanding practices. Sales consultant Bob Klix continued that tradition with my husband and me when we traded in a Toyota, used that money to buy a pre-owned Toyota and then leased an Escape all in one afternoon. Bob handled it all with ease. When he said repeatedly, now call me if you need anything, I found his offer of accessibility to be very welcome. And I believe that he will deliver.

I purchased a new 2013 ford pickup in Jan of 2014. when I took it in for the first oil change I told them that the front tow hook was rusting, they polished it. the second oil change I told them again and they polished it.At the third oil change they told me I was not keeping the truck up. I told them that I was and nothing else had a spot of rust or blemish on it. He told me he would talk to ford. When I called back he told me that ford agreed with him and would not replace the toll hook. I told him he just lost a customer over a $30.00 part. He started on me that he should not have to replace the part due to my neglect. I did like the sales Dept. but I found another ford dealer to service my truck.

I bought a new VW GTI 2016 from Romano VW/Ford. Sean Spencer was my Sales Consultant, but I also dealt with Mike Fisher on a few occasions. This is the first time I ever bought a car in the US and as you can imagine, there was a lot to learn and the process was long and elaborate. I really wanted to like this place as the other VW dealership in Driver's Village has a terrible rep. Sean started pretty nicely, but on the day we struck the deal, I had a lot of questions and was anxious to know a few more details before signing on a zillion papers. I kid you not, Sean was pretty FRUSTRATED and SLAMMED his coffee cup against the table, spilling coffee over the paperwork-- out of frustration. He did not even care to apologize. He remained pretty HOSTILE throughout the rest of the conversation and was RUDE for the rest of the conversation. It gets WORSE! We had decided to trade in my old car and they kept on MISGUIDING me so that I would sign the paperwork and once that was done -- they were like oh we need more of the paperwork before we can take your car, bla bla. I got all the paperwork and went back to trade in the car. Mike Fisher tells me that now the DEAL IS OFF and that WE NEVER PROMISED anything like that. I was shocked! I confronted him and reminded that greedy mind of his. He made some phone calls and came back with a sorry face, but clearly not genuine. He agreed to the deal and today it has been 4 months since the deal was struck and I still HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY MONEY for the trade-in. Unbelievable. I would NEVER GO BACK AGAIN. They might be nicer than many other dealers, but they are very greedy and think their learned customers are fools. Be honest, and it will pay back.

I recently turned my leased Escape in, but wanted a new one just like it for another lease. The excellent salesman, Bob Klix, got it done smoothly and professionally within a couple of days. I now have the same car I liked before, only a later model. Bob made it work like magic.

Justin was very helpful throughout the entire process of purchasing my leased vehicle. When I initially leased my vehicle Justin made it a very personal and painless experience. Justin was very attentive and answered any questions I had. The same applied to the purchase of my lease; Justin was very helpful in answering any questions. He made the experience a very positive one.

I met Justin and Murad just a few short years ago, and connected with both instantly! In that short time, we've already purchased four vehicles! Justin is well beyond his years as far as maturity and professionalism go. He really "gets it". He does what is necessary to make his customer happy. I've been in business for 37 years, and would feel totally comfortable leaving him in charge! We have a three-car garage that, up until three years ago, had never housed a Ford.....now we have THREE!!!!! Escape. Fusion. Mustang.I will be back!!

We have been looking for cars for a few months now and Romano Ford was easily the dealership with the best customer service. We worked with Justin Hamad and told him what we had in mind and the first car he showed us was the one we ended up buying. I felt like he listened to what I really wanted and then delivered something more than I ever expected. It was exactly what I wanted and then some. Buying cars can be intimidating and I felt comfortable asking questions and he didn't talk above me or over my head. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and I plan on going back in the future.

I've been a long time customer of this dealership, both new vehicle and parts. Recently purchase a 3K transmission for my truck and installed myself. Called them the very next day to say reverse was bad. Waited 2 1/2 weeks to get the truck in and another 3 to get it back. After several attempts to blame other parts on the truck, the transmission was finally replaced. Within 3K miles the second transmission failed as confirmed by the local shop, a very reputable transmission shop and fords own master tech that installed that very transmission. I've requested a refund as I rely on the truck and do not wish to continue to gamble. I spoke directly to the general manager, service manager and ford customer care on several occasions. Ultimately it all came back to the dealer. Not only was a refund denied on several occasions, it took a month just to get the truck back in to swap out the second bad transmission. My experience with this dealership has been disgusting. It's worth noting that I've purchased one new truck from them. As well I am an ASE certified automotive master tech, service consultant and parts specialist and up till recently this was the dealer I used for all my genuine ford parts. Tens of thousands of dollars spent with this dealer through hundreds of transactions over 15 or so years and this is how I was treated.

Service "manager" Gene is incredibly rude and treated me like I was someone who did something wrong to him. Terrible attitude and just all around horrible experience with him. Mind you I purchase a 20K car from these guys and they HAMMER me on the service side because we all know that's where they try to make up the margins. Amazing how bad these guys can get away with murder. If I have any advice it is: Steer clear from Romano VW, especially the service side of things. (of course my sales guy wanted nothing to do with me once I needed repairs).

I bought my 2012 Dodge Avenger sxt plus from Romano ford . During the test drive I pointed out multiple times the car making a bad grinding noise while braking and how the car dragged to the right . He said it will be looked but later on said nothing about the car dragging to the right , front alignment it needs , and told me the grinding noise was rust on the brake pads from the car sitting around . That cleans off fast . Still made the noise and still dragged and found out my e brake would NOT keep the car still . It still moved . Called the dealership made an appointment left the dealership . 20 min later I received a call talking about they will not fix anything at all because there was dirt found underneath the car . I started to explain that I got stuck in a drive way he immediately started to run his mouth about a made up story and getting stuck in a drive way . Would not let me explain the story , would not let me talk to some one else , would not fix anything ! Even after I told him I pointed everything out during the test drive accept for the e-brake . He said there's nothing on paper about it and my salesperson denies any conversations about it . Thing is when I called him first thing I asked was hey do you remember how I complained about the car dragging to the right and the bad grinding noise when breaking he said yea . Told him what I'm going through he changed his story to he drove it after and didn't feel nothing . Both of them pretty much calling me a lier so they don't have to spend money on fixing something they SHOULD fix ! Now if he allowed to to talk long enough with out rudely interrupting he would know the story and why he found some " dirt " underneath the car . Not that should be any reason to not warrenty my car ! Followed a truck with my 4 wheeler on the back to happy valley . Any one who's been there knows you have to drive on a dirt path for like 2 minutes before getting to a spot you can park. I parked wheat 4 wheeling for a few hours . It was raining and w.e had a blast . Went to leave and found myself stuck in mud . So that must mean I'm the bad guy now and stuff I pointed out during the test drive should not be fixed from the dealership right ? Not to mention it's been months and still no call about this touch up paint that was written on paper ! My first real dealership experience was horrible !! And I would not recommend a enemy to this dealership ! My car is now worse . Drags harder horrible grinding . Front rotors and brake pads are trash now ! E-brake would NOT save my life if a brake line blew and I needed to stop ! Horrible service seems like you guys look for any reason to not have to take money out of your pocket to Honor your warranties ! Hope everyone reads this before going to your dealership and making the same mistake I did by dealing with you ! This post will be shared and eventually everyone will know not to deal with Romano Ford !

I had some work done on my car after getting an estimate. When it came time to pay the bill, it was well over the estimate. I paid it and showed them the estimate for a reduced cost. They said, I would have to pay the higher price and have the rest put "on account". I asked that my credit card be reimbursed but that was refused as it would involve another transaction. I have been in contact with them to send me a check for the difference but they refuse. I will not have any work done on my car there so I will not use the credit. I don't want to be contacted as I was before, I just want a refund-I should charge interest.

I went to Romano after a horrible experience at Burdick. Murad, the general manager, did everything that he could to provide me with a pleasant experience and have me leave with a car that I love. He immediately sent me to an amazing salesman, David. They went through every detail with me so that I could understand the whole process/cost. They really took care of me at this dealership and I will 100% be going to them for any future car purchases. They truly are a great group who will work with you to help through the entire process!

I'm the poster that wrote the previous post about not being able to test drive a car. As in my previous post, I was still looking for a replacement car for my wife. We had both agreed we wanted a Ford Escape. I went back to this dealership. I have to say, it was truly one of the best buying experiences I've ever had. I let the dealership know I was hesitant to come back after my previous experience, but felt one person there didn't represent the entire company. I was treated extremely well by the sales consultant, the sales manager and the general manager. They went above and beyond the call of duty to help me with my selection. I truly feel like a member of the Romano family. Romano Cars just made a true believer out of me. I look forward to a long relationship with this dealership as well as all of the Romano dealerships. Thanks goes to Steve, Kevin, the Finance Manger as well as Murad for a truly outstanding experience. We look forward to taking delivery on our new vehicle.

I bought a 2008 Nissan Rogue on June 25th, 2013 from Romano Ford for $13,500 plus taxes. The car had 28,000 miles on it at that time and was still under manufacturer warranty. At the time of purchasing the car I was never offered an extended warranty from the dealer. We have had the car for 8 months. About a week to week and a half ago the car began to have some problems with it including the radio being lit up and looking like it was on but no sound, the locks from the inside would not lock or unlock with the button and the would not lock or unlock from the keys, the windshield wiper in the back would get stuck in the up position as well. I thought that maybe something was going on with the fuses. Behind the steering wheel also began to smoke a little and there was the smell of burning wires when you start the car up. I called Romano Ford to inform them of what was going on and they made me an appointment for Monday February 24th at 7am and I was told that I would get a loaner. When I got there that morning and they seen what kind of car that it was they told me that I would have to take it to a Nissan dealer as it was nothing that they could do about it and they were specialized in Ford and Volkswagon however, they were the ones that told me to bring it in knowing what was wrong with it and what kind of car that it was. That same morning I took it to Drivers Village Nissan and they had a long wait to even look at the car. I made an appointment with Nissan Fuccillo for Monday February 3rd at 8am. I took the car to them that morning. It took them 4 hours to even diagnose what the problem was. I got a call at noon that day at work saying that there was bad news. The heated seat that was installed (already in when I bought the car) was after factory. They said whom ever installed it did it incorrectly and was using power sources from everywhere which caused the harnesses to crumble when the mechanic looked at it as well as cause the wires to melt. They told me that the whole thing would have to be rewired. The total would be $4,000. I called my bank who said that this was a Romano problem that they would have to take care of it. I went to Romano Ford and spoke to the general manager who said that there was nothing that they can do because the warranty was up and that was there to protect the buyer and the consumer. When asked about the heated seat and the wiring he said that he had no knowledge if who was selling the car to me knew that it was after factory installed or not. They only inspected things based on NYS to make sure that the car is running correctly and is safe. He said that they are not required by NYS to inspect electrical or heated seats. The car is not safe as you smell burning wires and smoke coming from behind the steering wheel. He still continued to talk in circles saying he could not do anything about it. If they would they would be out of business along with many other dealerships. So all in all they refused to negotiate anything to resolve the problem! I would not recommend this dealership to anyone who wants sales people as well as mechanics who know what they are doing!

Purchased a lower cost ($10K) used car. Admittedly it's winter here and the roads were nasty the day I drove it. It was quite low miles for the year and looks to be well cared for. I wasn't expecting perfection but here's where I am thus far:-On the way home the snow started back up. The wipers were in such poor condition it was almost better with them turned off. It was late in the evening and the dealer was already closed. My options are either drive with dangerous visibility for a couple days or buy wipers myself.-The next day the interstates were clear and dry I notice steering wheel is off to the right when going down the road. There was also a vibration indicative of tires that are out of balance. I take the car back to them under warranty and they perform an alignment. The vibration turned out to be a tire (that had good tread depth still) in such a condition that they put two new tires on it.-Whatever blue liquid they put in the windshield wiper tank is not suitable for the local climate. I've fought with washer nozzles freezing for several hours as I try to thaw them and get all of their freezing liquid out of them.-The front speakers do not work. They aren't crackly, they aren't quiet--they make no noises at all meaning any warning chimes including turn signal indicator noise doesn't work either. I haven't brought this up with them yet as I'm afraid of what bargain bin $10 speakers they would put in and what rattles will be there when they are done. All of the issues with this car are truly BASIC issues that should be easily identified by a competent technician that inspects a car before they put it on the dealer lot. I'm not sure if the dealer didn't know of these issues due to an inadequate evaluation by the technician or they were told of the issues and just didn't care. Regardless, if they can't fix such basic issues with a vehicle before it gets put out for sale, I can't recommend anyone actively seek to buy a used car from them.

Company car-every 3years, my company upgrades their company cars. This year, they added the Ford Fusion and a VW Passat. The company asked us to evaluate which car we wanted and place the order. Driving through the Fayetteville area, I thought great, I can evaluate both cars at the same time. Well, I was approached by a sales representative, asked to sit down, and discuss my needs. I immediately told him my company would be ordering this unit, my job was to evaluate, make a choice, and recommend a dealership to have the unit shipped to and serviced by. I asked the representative to take a test drive. I was told "we don't do that here". I was very confused and asked him to repeat that. I've never been turned down a test drive. I asked him to ask someone else, he did and came back with "we don't allow that here". I walked out of the dealership confused, because I know this dealership provides loaners when service is being performed, because I am a Mazda customer of theirs. I believe once the representatives commission was in question, he shut right down. So I went to another Ford and VW dealership, got a test drive and placed my order. I have always been treated well by this dealership, wanted the owners to know that while I was there looking for a company car, I was also in the market for a replacement car for my wife. That sales rep really turned me off to that dealership.

The pre owned inventory is supposed be certified and undergo some 100 point checklist, they sold my father a used Jetta wagon with 11,000 miles, and in 15000 miles they are gonna charge him over $1000 to fix it calipers and all, and the best part is that all the parts are coming from united auto supply, and they aren't even vw parts. They will sell you a car, but the service after is awful, and they will rip you off in the service dept., trust me!!!

I took my Ford Taurus there because it was mis-firing. The Technician had a $50 meter and confirmed it was misfiring and said it needed an "Intake Cleaning". $500 later it was still mis-firing and he said it was "Weak valve Springs". He wanted another $500 to "investigate it". I took it to another mechanic and they changed the spark plug wires for $75, and it runs like a champ. When I returned to tell them what I had learned they wanted me to leave the car with them for a week so they could check it out. Like I would ever let them touch my car again. They are a big rip-off place. Stay far away.
