nov 16,2016..went in to get my oil changed and new wiper blades...was quoted 29.95 for oil change....but they forget to mention extra for 8.5 quarts, plus 9.95 for labor and 5.00 for filter..took 3 people to check me out..they are hurting for simple knowledge in this place....the above work took 2 hours and 25 mins...the manager called to offer me a free oil change, which I refused...this experience was so bad, I will never visit this place again...

I was disappointed that my repairs took more than one day. The people at the dealership were incredibly helpful and polite. The item that shocked me was the cost of the repair. I went in for an check engine light and the evaporator cylinoid had to be replaced. This was fine. I was told that my car did not have its 30,000 mile check up and I acknowledged that, telling them that when I purchased the car it had 32,000 miles. I am assuming that my acknowledgement of the fact that the car did not have its 30,000 mile check up was interpreted to mean that I wanted the car to have that check up. You can imagine my surprise when I was told the bill was over $900. I will say that my car runs great; a lot smoother than when I took it in. I was just taken aback by the 30,000 mile check up being done when I did not explicitly state that I wanted this to be done.

Tyler is an awesome representative for Serra. He goes the extra mile. For instance, he asks the people that change my oil to put in extra paper floor mats. Sometimes it is the small things that matter the most.I can't say enough about Paul. He helped me out when no one in the service department would pick up the phone....maybe because it was 17:15 and almost quitting time. My car wouldn't start and I needed to tow it in and get a car to drive while the crew figured out what to do with my Cruze. I was calling to make sure that I could bring it in and pick up a loaner car so I could be at work by 6. I called Paul and he got someone in the service department to answer my call. After 3 attempts to have minor problems addressed, to include an oil change, a tire repair, and recall issues, we found ourselvess waiting 6 hours for nothing on the first attempt. Were talked into returning and found ourselves picking up a vehicle the vehicle afetr a full day with no results, and a third time of being talked into coming back after we promised them we would not, our mistake entirely there, found the vehicle being serviced 5 days later. We had to call in to verify completion or hear the next story day after day. The vehicle was returned in filthy condition with grease marks on the bumper and a razor blade left inside. We had appointments for all three occasions. We even had to walk out back and retirieve the vehicle. This was in the course of one year dealing with a dealership we purchased the vehicle from. If more customers would speak to these matters, the owners would not assume their success rate was as high as it seems. People tend to walk away and not deal with the situation anymore and apparently this is acceptable to this dealership. Not only will we not return, but will advise all in our circle and theirs not to solicit this dealership.

I dropped off my car without an appointment after service closed Wednesday night. Tyler called me early Thursday morning and let me know he was taking care of it. He called again when it was checked out, and then when it was ready. I drove the car 25 miles each way to work and back in rush hour traffic. Both the cooling and brakes were better than new. i got my oil changed and tires rotated...HOWEVER i had to purchase a new battery before i went to have my oil changed. my blinkers wont make the sound and my radio and clock wont work...so i told the rep that i needed to find out why...maybe just a fuse??? BUT the rep told me that their technicians we're too busy to find out why...SOOO this is my delima....why would a company WANT to push away work??? why couldnt they just check the fuse and THEN say it would have to go deeper?? mind u my car was there all day and why couldnt they look at a fuse??? ya'll should know where the fuse box is faster than me! also this means i have to have somebody come and pick me up and i have to leave my car a whole day again!! no i'll be going somewhere else! then the guy called at 10 and said my car was done and i asked him did they rotate my tires and he tried to say i didnt tell him BUT i did....then he remembered..i didnt get another call to let me know my car was done...i just went after work at 4:30 and picked up my car

I am puzzled by what is continuing to happen when I get an oil change at this location for the past 2 visits. In fact, this is the 2nd time I've attempted to have my oil changed for the "6 quarts of 5W30" which is what my engine states is required. Yet my receipt states 5 quarts. Obviously, your mechanic failed to drain it completely in order to hold 6 quarts. My daughter took this in for me and stated to the Service Tech initially to 'please add 6 qts, not 5 as required for this vehicle.' The Service Tech told her he was not aware of this type of engine requirement so he would have to let the mechanic know. After the oil change was complete, she drove out and had to return because once again, they only put in 5 quarts. The mechanic showed her the oil dipstick and it looked full, and he did not want to put any more in because it would mess up the engine. That is understandable, however, the handbook for this car clearly states, "6 quarts of 5W30". I would appreciate your department looking into this engine requirement for my Equinox LTZ V6 as I plan to continue returning here for all my service maintenance. Thank you.

When my 2013 Volt quit running while on the Hernando Desoto bridge at 1230am, OnStar called a wrecker and stayed on the line until the wrecker arrived. He took the car to Serra early Saturday morning. Serra furnished a loaner vehicle for us and began work to determine the cause of this major and dangerous breakdown. I believe they took every step to insure that the vehicle was properly repaired and to insure our safety. The fact that the vehicle stopped running is a great concern especially since it had less that 27000 miles on it at the time of the dangerous breakdown. The car now operates properly and Serra has done a good job of assuring the vehicle will remain in good working order for years to come.

The only thing is if you put on the work order that your going to rotate the tires please rotate them. It was never done. The reason I know this is my back wheel is scratched and in same place when I got home.

My only issue was that the mechanic got grease on the carpet as well as the door surround on the drivers side and part of the door panel. In their defense ..when I pointed the grease out, they took the car back and did a little to remove the grease (without much luck) I have a degreaser that I plan to use on the areas mentioned. Other than that I was very pleased with the service.

This is the third car that I have purchased at Serra Chevrolet. The first time I ever stepped foot on the lot a year and a half ago to buy a new - used Malibu I encountered the nicest salesmen, Darnell. He was very knowledgeable about the car and made the buying experience easy. Well, my daughter turned 18 this year and needed a good car so we went back to Serra because she wanted a Cruze. Darnell helped her get what she wanted and made her very first car buying experience nothing short of a walk in the park. As you would have it, that gave me the new car bug, so I went back a few days later and traded in the 2012 Malibu for a 2015 Malibu. I absolutely love my new car and will continue to buy from Darnell and Serra Chevrolet. They go out of their way to make you one happy customer.

Jason Blurton, the service manager, made sure to stop by and visit with me about the service work performed. When I bring my vehicle in for repairs or service, I feel like I am being taken care of by friends, not just employees of a business.

Everyone is very courteous and friendly. Immediately upon my arrival they knew who I was and checked my truck in. Knowing the repair was going to take majority of the day they offered me a ride to where ever I wanted to go or a courtesy vehicle to use. I elected to take the courtesy vehicle which was a new Silverado. Upon completion of the work they called me. I went back to the dealership and returned their truck and got mine back and repaired.

I came in for an oil change and a tire rotation. The wait time was a bit long (it was a Saturday), but I was told up front it would be a couple of hours. If there was any way to come into a dealership and get the quick lube experience that would be great! (Ford is getting ready to launch a Quick Lube service at their Collierville location)

Reassured me that the problem was not an immediate emergency, however once problem became more severe, he had a loaner car lined up for me the next day. I had a serious problem with my Equinox and drove to the dealership before it closed on evening a couple of weeks ago. The gentleman who checked me in took good care of me and made the request for a loaner vehicle. It was so reassuring to qualify for a loaner vehicle since we live in Atoka and my husband would have had to drive from there to get me. I must say however, it was a little intimidating when I returned the loaner car and was told to stand right beside it while an individual walked around it to inspect it for damage. I wasn't going anywhere until I paid for and received my vehicle. It looks like I could have been told to wait in the waiting area while this inspection took placed. And by-the way, I inspected my vehicle for damage when it was pulled around too. Too Bad I couldn't have had the individual who inspected the loaner to stand by my vehicle while I inspected it.

I had been considering a new truck purchase for a couple of months. I ended up looking on line and in person at about a dozen dealers. Three dealers including Serra Bartlett had the type truck I was looking for. I went to Serra and found the truck I was interested in on the lot. After inspecting the truck, I spoke to my sales person. He was very courteous and was interested in helping me get the vehicle I wanted. I appreciated how easy he made the process. Also, the sales manager and finance manager were a pleasure to work with. They respected me and my opinion during the entire process. I am actually looking forward to getting to know other staff members in parts and service going forward. The one comment my wife made when we returned to pick the truck up was "how nice everybody there was". I hope this is the beginning of a long term business relationship and friendship as well. People return to businesses normally because of the way they are treated. Now days products of any kind can be found at multiple businesses and on line. I had to have an oil leak fixed on my avalanche and I had a wonderful experience. I was in and out dropping off my truck early enough so that I could make it to work on time. I was also given a choice of vehicles to drive while my truck was being serviced. When I returned the loaner vehicle it was not totally on the same amount of gas as when I got it, however they were gracious enough to not charge me for the gas. They even cleaned my tires/rims while my truck was being serviced.

I showed up unannounced to have the warranty/recall work done on my keys. The service writer first suggested I make an appointment and come back. He thought about it some more and said if I could wait one and a half hours they should be able to get it. I had the time so I waited. I was pleasantly surprised when I was called much sooner because they had been able to get it in sooner and I was able to go on my way.

Josh done an outstanding job. Realizing that he could not have my truck ready that day, he put me into a loaner. He kept me informed as to the status. When I went to get my truck we discovered that he had not put the oil change and tire rotation on the work order. He apologized and said that he could put one of his people on it immediately. I told him that I would bring it back. The next morning when I took it there it put serviced immediately and spent about 1/2 hour there.

When my car would not start they sent a wrecker in a timely manner. They found the problem and reported it to me with the cost. They did repair work and did a test drive only to find another minor problem. Now I feel safer driving the vehicle. Tyler is great at the service desk.

I took my Camaro in for its 50k scheduled maintenance. As always Tyler greeted me by name and made sure everything I needed was setup and taken care of. The service dept got my many requests taken care of in a very timely manner and called me once they were done. The issues with the brakes and the cooling system of my car were diagnosed and the repairs were completed by Serra of Bartlett Tennessee with a reduction in the amount owed because the front brakes were not as bad as initially diagnosed. I am happy with the technician's work and the Service Representative's work as he kept me up-to-date in a timely manner and the fact they were able to slightly reduce my bill.

My problem was solved--a fluid leak, plus I .need work on the brakes. I always know that Serra Chevrolet Bartlett doesn't dream up more work to do than I need. I trust them to treat me well as I am a widow who knows nothing about cars. The tech, Chris Wilson, takes very good care of my car, which is a 1998 Lumina, which runs well because this Chevrolet Dealer takes the best care!!

My dad brought my Camaro for service and the recall. I decided against the fix for the recall, it was minor. I was very satisfied with the service work when I saw the computer read out of all they had done. It was free service for a GM certified vehicle. This is my 3rd vehicle purchased at Serra 1 new and 2 GM certfied.

The staff was friendly. The wait time was long but unfortunately that is something that happens on Saturday mornings due to large crowd of customers. The waiting area is large with free coffee for those who drink coffee. The bathroom facilities was clean as well. I will continue to come to this location to have my truck serviced.

He was available to answer questions and conducted a diligent search to locate the car we wanted (make, model, color, features, etc.). We receive emails and letters to inform us of information concerning our recently purchased vehicle (we currently have several from Serra). The sales department folk are always friendly and helpful. I have over 193,000 miles on my Suburban. Serra seems to keep knowledgeable service advisors and technicians. I don't trust my Suburban to anyone else. While GM could do a better job building cars, I believe Serra can keep it in top shape better than anyone else. They do it right the first time, and Tyler is always courteous, professional, and keep me informed.

Serra is by far the busiest service department in the MidSouth! Obviously, they are the busiest because they are the best! I have arrived over a hour before opening to be more than 20th in line. It is amazing how quickly all clientle are checked in. I had a problem with the front end of my 2012 Silverado. Unsure whether or not it was safe to drive, I called Serra. As usual, the entire service department was operating at full capacity! Somehow(!!), they looked at my truck determined that I had a problem with the transmission.Rather than let me drive the vehicle that may not be up to full capacity; they asked if they may keep it and give me a loaner. Nobody gets to touch my truck except Serra Chevrolet. As stacked up as they appeared, my truck was back next day! It was all covered under warranty! Serra is unmatched in Custumer Care & Professionalism!! They have have earned their trust with me!

What the prompted the trade is was due to me renting a Chevy Cruze this past weekend to go visit my son in Kentucky. I dropped my truck off Saturday around 1100 without an appointment. Your department was able to squeeze it in on Monday and had it done by 5. While I am satisfied with the service, it is comparable or better than any dealership I have used, there is room for improvement. Very few of your service reps are familiar with maintenance issues related to diesel engines. I described issues with my emmissision system and they did not seeme to understand urgency to get it fixed. I did not want to have my speed limited by the computer and end up stranded because of the faulty emissions, hence why I wasn't going to come back later for the appointment. Again, the tech that worked on it got it back to me in satisfactory time I just wish the face of your department understood all GM products a little better.

The dealership told me it would take 3 hours before they would be finished with my oil change on my car, but it was less time than that and I liked that because I had to pick up my daughter at 12:00 noon. I did not get checked in until around 9:00 p.m. Great Job! Serra Chevrolet in Bartlett.

Brian Crisp and Jason Blurton are exceptionally rare talented individuals who were simply amazing. They were extremely accommodating and went the extra mile for me. This is probably the first time I didn't worry about leaving my car at a repair shop for an extended time. I was confident from beginning to end that the problem would be fixed right the first time and it was. I don't know who the mechanic/technician was but he deserves a pat on the back too!

Jim the salesman I was working with wasn't pushy and gave me time to decide what I wanted.Even though I already knew what I wanted before I arrived he wasn't trying to push another vehicle on me. The sales manager worked with me given me what I wanted for my trade in and did not give me that "take it or leave it" attitude. My overall experience was great.

Well, first of all, Paul Seward sets a new level for customer service! Dealing with Paul was a real pleasure. From the customer's perspective, he does everything right. The service department personnel are courteous and are very good at following up with the customer regarding the status of my vehicle and notification when it's ready to pick up.

Mr. Bushart did a great job of making us feel at home during the whole process, and it seemed that everyone was very willing to work with us on getting the pricing and payments that we needed to be able to purchase a car. We went to a total of three dealerships, and yours was the only one that made the experience anywhere near enjoyable. The other two were major hassles, and the salespeople at them seemed to have a disconnect between their ears and their brains because no matter what we said, they kept coming back with offers that were not in our budget. Your sales team however worked really hard to get us a good deal and a great rate on financing. We can't thank y'all enough, and we'll definitely be coming back when we're in the market for a car again.Honestly, the only issue we had was how long the process took, but I'm not entirely sure that that's anyone's fault. It's probably just an inherent part of buying a car. Even so, y'all did a great job of taking most of the stress out of the situation.

As always, the entire staff at Serra was very helpful. Jason Blurton went above and beyond to make sure I was pleased with the service, and even parked my Camaro back in the service lane after the repair because he knew I was concerned about getting a dent or scratch on my car with it sitting on the lot. Our car had an unusual problem that Serra figured out how best to fix. They provided us with a loaner car until the part we needed was available at no charge to us. Jason Blurton kept in constant contact with us, updating us even when there was nothing new to report. My car broke down Sunday evening I had to have it towed and when I arrived Jim the manager was so helpful I was given a rental car to drive home. The next day when I called to see what was wrong with my car Tyler was very pleasant he called me he found out what was wrong and to tell me I could come and pick my car up. I own a 1999 Tahoe and the majority of work has always been done by the Serra shop. I have a comfort level bringing a Chevrolet to a Chevrolet group of mechanics. Even though the faces have changed during the years, the quality of work has never dropped. I now have 255,000 miles on my Tahoe. I think that explains why I keep coming back.

I pulled into Serra about Mid-day for an oil change on my Camaro. My usual Service Writer, Tyler, met me at my car and greeted me by name and asked what he could do for me and my car. As always Tyler is on top of it and made sure to see if I needed anything. As well as taking care of my often odd/picky requests with my vehicle. I opted to stay and wait on the car, I wasn't in a big hurry. He advised me of the wait and I was ok with this. While waiting, Rick Creel, the salesman I always use, saw me and came over to check on me and make sure I was doing ok and that my car was ok. The staff go out of their way to make sure the customers are taken care of. I recommend everyone to go to them. The PA system was down apparently as they service writers were coming and getting people by name. Tyler came and got me and informed that the service I requested was done and even checked on the special request I asked for. Once again another great visit to Serra!

The sale and was great. Kevin is his name. Sadly the wheel almost came off on the way home. No joke. Wheel bearing was bad and I think they knew it. I found it this vehicle had been return by the first buyer, honestly don't know why. Maybe because of the wheel bearing. The car was also listed with 75000 miles but when I bought it there were 78061 miles on the car. This ruined or aniversay in a nut shell, no trip to Nashville. I called them no call back but they did email me and ask for proof of insurance. Haha.

Your service department is the best in town, by far. They know what they're doing, do it in a timely manner, and price their work extremely fair. Also, when I dropped off my SS Camaro for an oil change and some minor maintenance on Thursday, I asked Josh if he could please park it in a safe place after the work was done. When I came to pick the car up after work, it was parked in the very back lot, in front of the new car stock where nobody could hit it. I was extremely happy to see that the extra effort was taken to keep my car safe. I take all my vehicles here for service, and I've never had a less than stellar experience. I was told that the service that needed to be done on my car was going to take a few hours; they told me that they had a shuttle service that would take me home. I took advantage of this. When they called and told me that my car was ready for pick-up, I asked them to have someone come and pick me up. The shuttle driver came in just a few minutes. It was nice to have this service available so I could go home for a few hours instead of spending that time in the waiting room of the dealership. Once again Serra Chevrolet Bartlett's service was a good experience for me.

I must say that my experience was as close to perfect as it could get. Spencer Earnest(dealer) took time to figure out exactly what we wanted and what we wanted to pay. We were considering purchasing another Mercedes Benz but we wanted to look at every option available in regards to buying another vehicle. Mr. Earnest made our buying experience easy and comfortable. From the moment we got to the dealership we were talked to as if we were not good enough to buy a vehicle from them. The salesman used horrible language. Slamming doors and being overall rude, followed by trying to fight when confronted about his behavior making a scene in front of other customers and salesmen. When speaking to the manager he did not do anything even while the salesman was still cursing and trying to fight in front of him. Nothing was done to the salesman by management which shows how poorly operated this dealership is. I will never recommend or return to this horrible excuse of a dealership.

The facility is kept clean and orderly. The employees are courteous and have a professional manner. No complaints.

I took my Traverse in for oil change and thought because I was nearly at 50,000 miles there were be much more to do. I was told that everything I needed had been done at the 30,000 mark and next "big" service would be at 60,000. Made my day!!! Everyone is extremely nice, honest, and a pleasure to do business with. I was out within an hour!!

Could not be happier with the service at Serra Chevrolet in Bartlett. They always take excellent care of my Lumina. Their service department always meets all my needs. Their checks include everything , even down to the tires. My car is in great condition because they have taken care of it as long as I have been in the area--seven years. In addition, I can call them at any time to ask any related questions and they find the answers, including referrals if needed. I got stranded in a parking lot once with my lift for my scooter malfunctioning. They found a company to repair my lift and saved the day for me. Serra makes me, a widow, feel special.

I bought two new vehicles from Serra Bartlett, a 2011 Equinox LT & 2012 Silverado Z71 extended cab, The buying process was actually enjoyable as the salesmen did not pressure me at all. When I returned for an oil & filter change everything was done quickly & was perfect. I highly recommend Serra Bartlett for your next vehicle purchase & service. I have purchased several vehicles from Serra. I also use them for all my service needs. I was in for my 30k mileage maintenance on my 2011 Camaro. As always, Tyler, my service writer, was there to great me with a smile and by name. He was VERY professional, fun, courteous, and helped me get what I needed for me and my car. He even will help with special requests for picky owners like myself and make sure they happen. He got a shuttle for me and kept me up to date on the status of my service throughout the day. Tyler is a great asset to the service dept. As always I had a stellar experience with Serra.

Spencer was very helpful and so nice.. He made feel so comfortable in the decisions i was making. I had been searching for a VW Jetta to replace my Beetle for quite a few months. I wanted a particular color and particular options. When I saw one pop up on cars.com at this dealership, I stopped by after work just to have a glance at it. I had been trying to purchase a few before this one, and all of the other local dealerships had given me terrible offers and didn't care to work with me at all. Serra was completely different and refreshing. My sales guy, Darryl, was super honest and professional and didn't try to intimidate me into a bad deal like most dealers I have encountered (especially being a young female). The entire process was painless and extremely fast. I took the car home that night to help me decide, and I purchased it the very next day. I would just like to extend my gratitude to these guys, and I will definitely recommend them to my friends-- as well as keep them in mind the next time I decide to make another vehicle purchase. They damaged my truck lied about it and gave me the run around about fixing it. Would never use this dealer again. The guys in the service dept all work together and covered up for the tech that damaged my truck.

I called and made an appointment to have the new oil filter software installed on my 2011 Equinox. Tyler Birl, a service consultant, answerd my phone call, was there to greet me at the dealership when I arrived, took care of my Equinox and directed me to the waiting area. He then made serveral trips to the waiting room to inform me of how things were going. I was in and out in 40 minutes which was great since I was on my lunch hour. Tyler made the whole experience very good and I appreciate it.

Brian and the rest of the service staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable. We wouldnt take our vehicles elsewhere. Spencer and Thad were also very helpful, when we bought our new Camaro. I reccomend yall all of the time.

I bought a 2013 Malibu in November, I already had one picked out from a dealership at home but decided to stop in the Memphis location, the sales person Barbra was really nice but the Manager was awful. I told them what I wanted and I told them I wanted the navigation that was most important to me and I wanted the brown and black leather interior, they didn't have one so I thought I would just go back to my home town and purchase it. Well you know how sales people are they didn't want to loose a sale. They promised me they could get me what I wanted. So they checked and found one and I said it will have navigation right everything you said you wanted. Well I got my car a few days later, I was upset no navigation only onstar, thats not what I wanted and they said it has navigation but only voice command from onstar. Than the weather stripping around the drivers door was messed up and I have a vibration when I first get on the accelarator from the motor, well had to spend half the day to take it in for repair and I'm still not happy because I have wind noise from that window which the one they gave me to drive before I got mine had none. Also I told them I didn't want the lisense plate on the front, the Manager said it didn't have it, well it did, So when I called about that he said he could have someone fix it and I wouldn't even notice it, well they plugged it and I can tell of course. I was so excited about getting this car and now I can't wait to trade it in.

Lawrence Madison and the manager Justin Colley are the best!! We had previously bought a 2012 Tahoe from them earlier in the year and they gave us a wonderful deal on that, as well! David was so helpful during the entire process. He got me an appointment very quickly and when I let him know that I needed to get a shuttle to take me to work, he went above and beyond. Not only did they get me a ride to work, they dropped my car off at my job when they were finished (which was very quickly)! Richard (the shuttle driver) was also very friendly and professional! Friendly, fast, professional, and I expected no less from other past experiences at Serra. They really seem to care about their customers!

My 2012 Chevrolet Cruze had a steering problem that another local dealership chose not to deal with. Serra Chevrolet was quick to diagnose and repair and were very accommodating in providing shuttle service and a rental car once parts were on order. Kevin and Serra are very customer focused and went above and beyond to make an unpleasant experience easy to deal with.I highly recommend Serra Chevrolet.

I've been shopping for a used Tahoe for about a year. Started dealing with their internet department to see if they could help me find what I was looking for. I knew I was going to be picky and it might take awhile to get exactly what I wanted, but they never gave up on me. Over the course of the past 10 months they've stayed in touch, kept me updated on used Tahoe's they had in stock and when they finally had what I wanted they made it worth my while to make the drive past the other Chevy dealers in town that had long forgotten about me. The internet department, my salesman Barbara Wright and the manager were great to work with. I love my "new" Tahoe and I love Serra Chevrolet! Thanks for being patient with me guys! This weekend I purchased a 2011 Malibu from Paul Seward. He absolutely took care of my family's every need. I prefer a friendly, laid-back atmosphere and that is exactly what I got at Serra Chevrolet. I was unsure if I wanted a new or used car so they showed me all of my options and let me choose. I honestly felt like Paul Seward, Keith Petty and the rest of the staff made recommendations that were in my best interest instead of just trying to sell me something. They have a HUGE selection of new/used so if you are in the market, I would definitely recommend going to visit these guys!

Would not budge on a price that was already to high. Very hard to deal with, and slow to respond to emails. Never respond to voicemails, or any form of left messages. Do not recommend.
