Purchasing a new 2016 Ford Escape was a real comfortable experience. Everyone we met including; Randy, A. J., Mel ,Paul, Don and Rose were very friendly and offered any assistance we might need. Jason Beckman was outstanding as our sales contact offering any kind of help in guiding us through the purchasing experience. Mel even arranged to have an Escape put on the hoist so I could look at the undercarriage. Seymour Ford is one class operation.

The computer needed to be re-programmed as part of a safety recall for certain Fusions. Mine is a 2011. Apparently the computer was detecting emissions problems when they don't really exist.Dropped of car on a Sunday night and the work was completed early Monday morning. Haven't had any emission-related warnings since the work was done.

I was looking for a new car, something reliable to get me to work and back. We'd looked online for a few weeks and decided to go out and search for cars we might be interested in buying in, of course it just happened to be snowing. We had went to a few other places before coming to Seymour Ford Lincoln. I'd test driven a few already but I was mostly window shopping, and trying to figure out what kind of car I'd like to have.We we're checking out some cars in your lot when a staff member, who I had known in high school came out to talk to us. It was good to see a friendly face and he was very upfront and helpful to us. We test drove a 2011 ford fusion and ford focus. Both vehicles were great but the fusion was by far the best I'd driven that day. I wasn't expecting to buy a new car that day but I ended up setting up a deal with the staff member after having sat down with him and talked through some financing options for that vehicle. The whole process was very smooth and we came back the following Monday and bought the car. The entire staff that worked with us was very helpful in explaining all the details of the process and just what we were signing up for. The car drives great and I'm happy with the service that was given.

It's stressful when you have an accident. The body shop at Seymour Ford Lincoln took a lot of that stress away by picking up my car at work in Ann Arbor and dropping it back at my home in Ypsilanti. I had a flat tire on my 13 f150. I dropped the tire off in the morning. I need that truck every day. I was called very quickly. The tire was to be replaced for free u see the warranty I purchased. I returned after work and they installed the new tire. We agree on rotating the tires so that was performed as well. My only gripe is that I could see the tech that was working on my truck. He did not display the care that I would have liked on a $35000 truck. He was hitting the tires and rims with a hammer and dropping the tires and rims from the lift. I'm sure it did t hurt anything. They take extreme abuse. It just seemed disrespectful.

My wife who is recovering from back problems got a flat tire on her 2014 Explorer Sport while I was out of the country. We had to use roadside assistance which we purchased with the vehicle. A technician came to the house and changed the tire. At the dealership, the tire was found to be damaged beyond repair and Seymour Ford installed a new tire free of charge. I found a vehicle on Ford CPO and it led me to Seymour Ford. I sent off an email although there were some local options (I'm in the suburbs of Detroit). I tried five different Ford dealers in the Michigan and Ohio and Michele Hinkley of Seymour was the only one to get back to me with additional information, and she did it within 30 minutes. Another local internet sales guy got back to me a few minutes later. A few days later, I heard from two other dealers, but by then I had purchased locally. In the future, I'm going to start with Michele and Seymour Ford, because they seem to get it and I believe that the trip to Jackson would be worth it. She's an absolute pro, and even contacted me again to see how I liked my new car, not even purchased from Seymour. Class.

Top notch experience all around!! Greg Mazerov and Terren Applegate (sp) are exemplary associates and outstanding to work with. Very impressed with the overall experience, Greg was the original associate I worked with, when he was working with another customer, Terren Applegate (sp) stepped right in and helped me with my search of the perfect car. Being in sales myself it was refreshing to see that the two of them worked together to figure out my complicated situation of finding the right car. This is the fourth vehicle we have bought from Seymour Ford and each time through Tom Riker. The particular model with the exact equipment and color we wanted was difficult to find as it was the end of the model year. Tom went to work making numerous phone calls and sending out e-mails to other dealers. I called him back towards the end of the day to check on progress and thus far all the leads were dead ends. We told Tom we would be willing to take slightly less than exactly what we wanted which meant second or third choice of colors and perhaps a higher cost. He said " I am not giving up yet " and continued to look. Yep, he found it in a different city and state, 150 miles away and made a dealer trade for it. That's going more than the extra mile to satisfy his customer!

I just got my new 2015 Escape. Seymour ford only has one blue one the lot but I called about it and Michelle said if it sold before I could come in they would make sure they had another and sure enough the did. Seymour Ford is at the top of my list for being helpful. Don Heiser spent at least half a day with us in determining what we would like in a vehicle and test driving them in order to compare the features, . I found exactly what I wanted in a new Escape. Don is extremely knowledgeable about the various vehicles and computer-related instruments, etc. He listened to us and answered all our questions. I was very impressed with the dealership and variety of models. This is the second car I have leased from Seymour Ford. I know the service department goes out of its way to accommodate the customer and do the job right.

I find it very impressive to walk into a dealership and immediately feel like family. I have never had the experience to be able to work with such an honest group of people until my first purchase at Seymour Ford. We bought a Kia Soul and there was no manual in the car. We were assured that one would be sent to us buy the salesman, Joel white. We have called and even talked to the sales manager. Still no manual. This is a complicated car with many electronic features that we cannot use properly without the instructions. We would not recommend buying from this dealer unless you are sure you've got everything you've been promised when you hand them the check.

I told Doug what I was looking for and that I knew nothing about leasing. He took the time to explain all my options and helped me find the right deal for me. I am so thankful for Seymour Ford!! I live in Lansing, MI and was interested in buying a Ford Edge. I went into a local dealer and applied for an Edge. I was told that I couldn't have that vehicle and was convinced to try the Escape. I took the car home over night and decided that it would work for my family just fine, although it wasn't what I originally wanted. I had the Escape for 3 days when the dealer called me up and asked me to bring him a $2,500 down payment for the Escape. I was quite shocked to think that after 3 days, they were asking me to come up with that amount of money on the spot. Not to mention that I had their vehicle and they had mine. I wasn't able, and told the dealer that I would be able to pay that in a week. I returned the Escape and went back 5 days later to pay them the down payment. I was advised that they had sold my vehicle; after many promises to hold the vehicle. Needless to say, I was very upset!! They told me that they would get me one, since they had some at nearby locations, and they would call me in a few hours. I NEVER hear from them again. A week later, I decided that I was going elsewhere. I read reviews online about Seymour Ford and was pleased with what I read. I filled out an application online and was immediately contacted by Michele. I explained to her what had happened to me at the previous dealership. She set me up with an appointment to meet Joel White. I was approved and in my new vehicle in 2 days!! The best part is that I was able to get the Ford Edge, which is what I wanted initially!! I am so very happy and grateful for Joel, Misty, and Michele! They made my family's Christmas the best!!

My first experience with Seymour Ford was to only compare prices to be sure I was still getting the best deal from the dealer I had been buying from for the last fifteen years. My brother is a friend of the owner and I was getting some really good deals. I was shopping for a new F-150 (loaded) XLT Super Cab which is a fairly pricey vehicle so I was surprised to get quotes within a hundred dollars of each other. Plan B... check trade in values. My old dealer was about $2,000 under Kelly Blue Book but Seymour Ford was $400 over! Done deal-hello Seymour Ford. Sorry bro, Tell your friend he didn`t do his homework. A year later my wife traded in her Edge for a new car and the same experience again. Trade in was higher than Kelly. I did not bother checking with any other dealer yesterday before I drove off the lot with another new F-150. I know I got the best deal. FYI see Tom Riker when you go in.

Bought my Fiesta from Seymour a year and a half ago, and it was the first time either I or anyone in my family had ever bought a new car. Salespeople were incredibly patient with us -- let us test drive the car without any real idea of when or if we were going to buy, then answered an insane amount of questions that would pop up at random times. I probably called a dozen times with silly questions, and the answers were always prompt and patient. Very cool. Since then, we've brought the car in a number of times for service and for a couple of questions we've had about the transmission and the radio -- no problems, just a sticky shifter and the radio wasn't syncing right with my phone. Have had a great time with the service department, who've been patient enough to deal with the problems (including reflashing the radio system once, and keeping the car for the whole day and giving it extensive testing on the shifter) with no charge. Great experience. So glad I took the time to drive out of my way to go to a dealership who cares about their customers. Very cool.

I RECENTLY WENT INTO SEYMOUR FORD FOR THE FIRST TIME AND LOOKED AROUND THE LOT A BIT. A SALES CONSULTANT CAME OUT AND ASKED IF I NEEDED HELP FINDING SOMETHING. I GAVE HIM A DESCRIPTION OF WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. HE KNEW HIS INVENTORY AND SHOWED ME A FEW CARS. I TEST DROVE A COUPLE, AND BOUGHT THE FIRST FORD FOCUS I DROVE. MY SALES CONSULTANT, JOEL WHITE, MADE THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE SO EASY AND TOTALLY ENJOYABLE. NO PRESSURE, NO HYPE, JUST SMOOTH AND FUN. WHEN I CAME BACK TO CLOSE THE DEAL AND PICK UP MY CAR, JOEL SHOWED ME HOW EVERYTHING WORKED. HE EVEN PROGRAMMED MY PHONE INTO THE CAR. THE CAR WAS IN PRESTINE ORDER. I AM VERY HAPPY. I WILL CERTAINLY BE RETURNING SEYMOUR FORD AND JOEL WHITE IN THE FUTURE.

Normally car hunting and buying is a HUGE pain but I wasnt planning on stopping by but glad I did. I found the vehicle I wanted, got a great price, very fair trade in value and the process was E-Z!! Tom Riker was honest and upfront which is very rare in many industries! Thanks to Missy and Matt B!

I have purchased two cars from Seymour Ford and I have found the staff courteous and professional. They did not use gimmicks or high-pressure tactics. They have a large selection of both new and used vehicles. The salesman I worked with was named Mark, and he treated my wife and I with respect. When I have had my vehicles in their service department, my cars have received good care, but their prices can be on the high side. The next time I am shopping for a car, Seymour will be the first place I look.

I went to Seymour to look at Ford Escapes. I was going to look at a couple other dealerships as well. The sales person asked in the first 3 minutes if I was going to buy from him, when I said I wasn't sure he refused to take me on test drive because he didn't want to "waste his time". Thanks for the service!

I recently made a trip to Seymour Ford Lincoln to test drive a Ford Edge. After taking two out my boyfriend and I decided that we really liked them. At the time however they did not have one available in the color and year we were looking for. So they asked if we wanted to test drive a Lincoln MKX, it was still in our price range and with low miles. Needless to say we went to just test drive however with the great staff available there we left the dealership that day with the MKX. Thank you Seymour for being patient with us and listing to what we wanted!
