Did get rental car until loaner was available. However was not pleased with Enterprise office we dealt with. Very slow service and not convenient opening time at 9 am on a Saturday for return and state had no one to drive us to VW dealer. Called VW and magically Enterprise had someone to take us to dealer.

I didn't know what to expect with Lou no longer being with Southern, but Charlie was so awesome. He made us feel well taken care of and listened to all our concerns with an active ear. It was quite a relief. The financing agent was very well spoken and thorough, which was very nice. While we were waiting in between signing various papers several people came to check on us and everything was so clean. When we came back in to pick up the car a few days later, the man we signed the final contract with was very kind and I was impressed that he already had the paperwork waiting for us when we walked in. I cannot remember his name, but I was very impressed by him and Charlie. They went above and beyond to fix up my Jetta and find me the lowest possible monthly interest rate/ payment.

Efficient service. Nice service workers. I like how they go over the car while I was standing there to make sure there are no bumps and dings that I might have attributed to the facility. My only complaint is that it is too cold in the waiting room.

The only thing I didn't care for was the web site prices aren't really the asking prices for the cars, they wanted around $3000 more then what the web site said. Within the past 16 years, Greenbrier VW has been the only dealership I have used for all my automobile purchases and services. With that, I commend Farley Perkins for his excellence in leadership, his quality commitment for customer satisfaction and follow up of any of the dealership's service and sales. Charlie Wright has been an great asset in making deals happen expeditiously and for his thoroughness in making sure the customer, I, know and understand all the features of the automobile prior to driving it off the lot. Helen K, senior delivery coordinator, has splendid presentation skills and I have had the pleasure of dealing with her also for an extended period of time. She also is very thorough. Meeting Tien Lien in finance for the first time was both pleasant and making sure everything is covered at the same time. So , if I based this survey on a 100 scale, I would give it 100 but since it is on a 1 to 10 scale, I will give it a 10. Greenbrier VW....#1. Stagger Fentress has also come back as a Service Coordinator which I was very pleased to see back. He is the best.

The service representatives (Stuggie and Andrew) were very helpful. Although I had ordered two tires thinking I had to replace them in pairs due to a single flat tire, it was noted that the remaining tire on that axle was nearly new (along with the other two) and that I only had to replace the damaged one, saving me money. Well done! Thinking of the customer first. Additionally, the parts guy (don't recall his name) was very helpful not only in refunding the amount for the unused tire but also arranging my receipt of the complementary emergency kit based on my purchase and with my newly activated VW Goodwill Package.

My service agent was wonderful!! I wasn't pressured to do anything I wasn't in the position to address. He listened to my concerns and my financial position and absolutely helped me make the right choices and plan for some future work and couldn't have been more wonderful or understand!! Glad to Mr. Stugi Fentress back at VW. He is the most customer oriented service rep that I have had in all my years of vehicle ownership. He is always friendly and helpful. He keeps me updated as to repair/inspection status.....calls me when he finds something wrong and "do I want to take care of this now." If he is not busy at his desk, and he sees one of his customers coming in, he gets up to personally great them....both during initial check in and during the customer pick up. I always feel like my vehicle gets the best possible care when he is at the desk.

Dealing with the following people made the sale of my vehicle possible- Jaclyn Vazquez and Robb Webb ,the follow- up from Mr.Perkins was nice. The distance I have to drive is a negative but the warranty for my new vehicle is a huge plus , The inventory on the lot is amazing (although the vehicle I choose was a 2014- your lot had the largest selection of VW so it was nice to wander around and look while the paperwork was being done) . I chose to not deal with their finance department so I did not get loan under VW so I brought in a check so I am not going to rank buying process.

I enjoyed the speed that the entire buying process was completed in. I walked in the door knowing exactly what I was looking for and Kyle and Reinard did everything they could to find my "perfect" vehicle. While we could only find two vehicles in the U.S. (CA and SC) that had everything I wanted and no guarantee that the other dealers would be willing to exchange or ship them, we found ONE car right on the lot that fit the bill and the price was more than fair and the service was outstanding.

Knowledgeable staff, several options to keep from going batty in the waiting rooms (TV, computers, radio, quiet, even outside rocking chairs) friendly people, and clean environment. My total bill at checkout was lower than the original quote so I quickly bought something nice for myself in their gift/parts department with the extra dough! Plus instead of just reapplying paint protection on the area needed they took the time to clean the entire outside well and reapplied it to the whole car. I only have to get my car serviced once a year, therefore I appreciate it being done right & thoroughly. It's well worth however much time they need. The shuttle is a great option but having a Wi-Fi there allowed me to work while I waited. Win! win!

I greatly appreciated Katrina's guidance through the service I had done but I usually reserve 5 star and 10 point recommendation for multiple visits. Robert my service advisor was extremely helpful, he knew that the work would take a while because there was so much work to do so he went ahead and put me in a rental so I wouldn't have to sit around with my daughter waiting to hear. I am from out of town and my car just wouldn't start with no prior malfunction history. After calling a tow truck, I immediately called this dealer(as they were the closest). I was greeted by everyone I encountered with a friendly "hello". Additionally, Katrina was wonderful with letting me know expected wait times. Luckily, my car was able to be checked and fixed with a new battery within 4 hours. :-) Super impressed. Wish I lived here to do my regular services with.

I worked with Patrick in the Service department and he was extremely helpful. I bought my care in for a faulty gas gauge and the techs found I also had faulty front CV boots. I was so grateful they discovered that issue at my visit. I was able to get all the work done in one visit. I also was given a loaner car as I needed to leave my car overnight. Patrick also called me periodically to inform me of the process being made and assured me my car would be ready as promised. I appreciate the excellent customer service I was given and I will continue to bring my car there for service.

The staff I spoke with were courteous and the dealership and service center looked both clean and well maintained. Based on my most recent experience I would tentatively recommend this dealership again to a friend.

Great customer service and service writer was a pleasure to do business with. She explained all items very well. Being in a simular industry, Diesel Engines, I understand that when you have an intermittent problem it can be difficult to find the problem so I am still not happy with the acceleration problem I experence from time to time. This is not a reflection on your group or technicians and I am sure that it can be found and solved. I am just concerned because it has put me into a dangerous condition a couple of times when acceleration was needed and the vehicle did not respond for a couple of seconds. Next visit I hope that I can take the technician for a reide to try to get the vehicle to not accelerate to show you.

I'm not sure who did the actual work on my car but it's running like new! The cashiers I had called prior to arriving to focuses payment and so when I arrived it was a very smooth process. Towing company came promptly, and right after I arrived with the tow truck Brett checked me in, got me a loaner and showed me the details of the diesel bug, and I really wasn't very late for work. You replaced the defective battery (at no cost to me), and I have my Jetta back.

Reinaldo Feliciano was an excellent sales consultant. He answered all of my questions and he made himself available to us. He provided great customer service, very knowledgeable about both vehicles and he encouraged us to return anytime if we ever need anything. My fiance and I were able to purchase two volkswagons today. We are both happy with our choices and we will tell our friends and family about Reinaldo and the volkswagon team. I love my new 2014 VW.

Service advisor was prompt in returning my calls, he worked with me on the price of an expensive repair and gave me an agreed upon discount, and was thorough in his diagnosis. He also came and checked a key issue and advised me on the correct way to open the trunk w/ the keyless entry. Very good experience.

First and foremost it is easy to secure a service appt. that fits my schedule. In addition it is a pleasure to finally have a service advisor who is committed and a pleasure to work with. For the sake of convience, I tried Casey in N.N. however after just one visit I knew Southern VW was the dealership worth my trip across the water. My service department representative April provided an extremely thorough explanation to all of the many questions that I asked her. In addition, for many of the questions, she repeatedly conferred with the technician to ensure that she had a complete answer. In addition, she was careful to always follow-up and provide an answer when she was able to immediately answer. I was also impressed that she had a very thorough knowledge and understanding of my vehicle and the services that were required for it.

The hospitality was awesome. Everybody was so polite and friendly. The general manager, Mr. Farley Perkins, was so supportive and very accessible if there were questions needed to be answered. I was only interested in a VW Passat or Jetta. I did not go to several VW dealers. I knew Southern had ample stock to pick from, it was the last day of the month, so I knew they would make me as good of a deal as any other dealer in VA would. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a hello from Mike Terrance and we began to walk the lot. I checked out several vehicles in stock and narrowed it down to the one I wanted to negotiate. Once I decided on a specific Jetta, there was not a lot of back and forth between him and his manager. I did not experience any pressure from anyone. Between my sales rep, the sales manager, and the Finance guys, they got me into a 2014 while making the numbers work to my advantage. I know I will probably want another VW in the future, and from the way I was treated, I will come back to Southern VW in Chesapeake!

Stuggie Fentress and Jay Pichardo are the reasons I continue to come to the dealer for any and all car needs. I had such a bad experience with my car (lemon) and with some of the other employees there (Miranda). Never let these two go!! I trust them completely and their customer service plus your technicians' work make it so I refuse to take my car anywhere else. I know that they won't overcharge me, they work with my needs, and they never add unnecessary repairs to my tab. Plus, the technicians do great work and everything they do is guaranteed. Once, another store had messed up my AC unit. This dealer fixed it for me at minimal cost and didn't double charge me. It was after that that I decided I wouldn't go to another shop again.

My Service Advisor is what I like best about dropping my car off for service. Stuggie Fentress has been my service advisor for about six years. He always explains to me what I need to know, answers my questions and makes sure everything ready when I get there.

I appreciate that Brett W. was willing to help me get the best deal I could for the service we needed. I had options to go elsewhere but he made sure to price match so I didn't need to.

We liked the professionalism. We also liked the fact that they took the time to negotiate and really try to come to terms and sell us a car. We also like that the manager took time himself to work with us. Terrell was very personable, likeable and good at keeping us updated.

Went to this dealer to look for a used advertised 2012 VW Passat. My cash budget was 25k and the car was advertised just below 17k. After test driving the car the problem came up that the car was suddely around one thousand dollars more because the car came from Florida! ($ 1000 extra transport costs). They were not willing to omit this charge and I was not willing to pay it! So, I left and bought my car at another dealer.

Car has NONE of the "features" listed. Steel wheels, stock stereo, cloth seats, no sunroof. Definitely the car in the pics, but listing is very misleading. If the listing had been truthful and the car prices appropriately I would have driven it home.

Went to the dealership i was miss lead on the price!! I purchased a car from them in the past and used their service department they were shady and lied about work that needed to be done
