I recently purchased a 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan from Mike at Steven Todd Leasing & Sales. Throughout our discussions on vehicle availability, Mike was prompt in his responses about the vehicle. The negotiation process was fair, and without pressure. From a transaction perspective, this is how car sales should work everywhere. However, not long after owning the car, we began to have issues with the windshield fluid sensor and washer fluid dispensing onto the windshield. After a visit to our mechanic, we were told the problem was likely from whoever did the recent maintenance on the car and put incompatible washer fluid in, or didn't remove the incompatible washer fluid. The hoses were completed clogged and corroded and needed to be flushed out to repair the issue. Unfortunately, Mike was not apt to step up to the plate for the issues that were caused, or missed, by his mechanic. This leaves us with mixed feelings on dealing with Steven Todd.

Wendy and I just bought a 2001 Corvette from Steven Todd Leasing & Sales. I give Mike Allen 5 stars. We came across the vette during a Google search for a 2001, from the moment we contacted Mike he provided outstand customer service; we purchased the car sight-unseen, and all we had to reference was the posted photos on the company web-site. Over a 2.5 week period we corresponded with Mike through email that totaled about 25. Not once did he delay a response back to us, always on top of our inquired regardless of what time or day. His description of the vette was spot on; when it arrived at our location it was as he described. No hidden issues it was spot on as he told us. I bought a car from Mike at ST Leasing over the weekend. We were buying a relatively high mileage used vehicle for our kids and Mike was very forthcoming with information about the car we were considering. It was a no-pressure environment without the games typically played at dealerships. Mike and ST Leasing shoiuld be the model for the car buying experience. I would highly recommend doing business with them.

I was an out of town buyer from Steven Todd Leasing. I have never purchased a vehicle out of state before. I came from Minneapolis to Chicago to look at a similar year make and model at a competing dealership the week before and found the salesman was not very forthcoming about the condition of the vehicle. Although a clean carfax the car had obvious signs of bodywork all over the car. Needless to say I was very apprehensive to come to Chicago again to look at another vehicle. I spoke with Mike a few times on the phone and tried to get as much information as possible as far as the condition of the vehicle. Mike had no problems answering any questions I had and we did a walk around over the phone at one point. With the great price and low mileage I decided to make the trip again to Chicago. I am very glad I did. The vehicle was as discussed and Mike was very friendly and easy to work with. I had financing already lined up so the paperwork took less than 30 minutes and I was back on my way to Minneapolis. Thanks Mike. When I am in the market to buy another vehicle again I will definitely be looking on their lot and will have no problems driving 12 hours again round trip to buy a vehicle.

I have nothing but the highest praise for Mike Allen and Steven Todd Leasing! Anyone purchasing a vehicle either new or used has to be crazy not to deal with Mike and Steven Todd Leasing. There was none of the game playing so characteristic of other dealerships. He had the vehicle I wanted at the best value I could find anywhere.I flew from Colorado to Chicago O'Hare. Bought a 2011 Mazda CX9 Grand Touring AWD SUV. Mike picked me up at the airport, we did the transaction paperwork at his office and I was on my way back to Colorado in the vehicle. Mike went above and beyond to see that the vehicle was clean (spotless) had all necessary service and even repaired a crack in the grille surround and replaced the grille at his cost without hesitation. I couldn't be more pleased, and my wife loves the vehicle.Mike Allen and the folks at Steven Todd Leasing are genuinely nice people who provide exceptional service and unbelievable value. At a future date I will be in the market for a new 4X4 truck and will most definitely be calling Mike Allen.Thank you Mike for the most straightforward no hassle car buying experience ever! --- You have a new customer.

Recommended to me by my dad. Excellent experience, was in contact with dealer for over 2 months. Dealer was very patient and did not pressure me to buy as I was waiting for possible deals from the car company. I have very little free time so being able to do everything via email and not having to go back and forth from a dealership was a great plus. Dealer spelled out the whole deal, along with the various discounts and debates to come out to a final price. I did better with this dealer than I would have if I had used Consumer Report's discount.When I got to the dealership to take delivery of the car it was quick and painless. Barley spent anytime interacting with the the dealership's salesmen, just check out the car, paid for it, and was out the door with 4 new wheels. Dealer even went through a brief tutorial of the car and its functions, along with going through all of the warranty information.It was a very good experience and it was refreshing to deal with an individual who was not hard set on pushing their car brand on you.

This company was great- I had a completely hassle free, satisfied experience. I car shopped locally for 2 months..Without any luck & dissatisfied sales service, I decided to give Steven Todd Leasing a try (even though they were 2&1/2 hours from where I live). I'm glad I did & would highly recommend them to anyone looking to make a vehicle purchase.

I purchased a used vehicle from Mike at Steven Todd Leasing. I do not live in the Chicago area, so Mike did a walk through of the vehicle over the phone. He described in detail everything on the interior and exterior of the car that I would see when I arrived in person. This added a level of comfort with making the vehicle purchase. I flew in to Chicago to pick up the vehicle and Mike picked my up at the airport, so I would not need to catch a cab. I test drove the vehicle and everything was as Mike had described. Mike was very friendly and easy to work with, he was quick to respond to email questions whether or not it was during normal business hours. The purchase of the vehicle went very smoothly and the financing was handled through a bank recommended by Mike that had very competitive rates. Also, the price I paid for the vehicle was very competitive, I was doing a national search for a vehicle and their price was as good as any for the year and miles. I would definitely recommend this dealer to others.

Over this past weekend I purchased a 2010 Honda Accord from Mike. What attracted me to this dealership was that the vehicle had low miles and was competitively priced. I sent an email to the dealerships website and was contacted within minutes. Mike gave me a complete rundown of the vehicle and it's history and even shared more information about the vehicle than what I would have asked for. I had my own financing arranged but Mike helped me get a better than what I expect interest rate and he also sold me an extended warranty for much less than what I was quoted elsewhere. I haven't purchased many vehicles in the past but I can honestly say that this has been the most easy and hassle free car buying experience I have ever had. I am extremely with my new to me Honda Accord and will certainly look these guys up when I am in the market for a vehicle again. I also over heard the other gentleman that works there going over some leasing terms with a prospective customer. For such a small organization these guys really have it together.

My experience at Steven Todd Leasing and Sales was by far the most pleasant and easy experience I have ever had. After finding an add for a car on the internet, we called up Mike and immediately set up a time to come check out the car. When we were greeted by Mike and Sandy, they were so friendly and made the whole experience extremely easy. This was my first time buying a car and it went so smoothly. I got to take the car out on a test drive and once I decided that I wanted it, we started the paperwork and a couple days later the car was mine! It couldn't have gone any better. Mike was always quick with responses to emails that we sent him as well as phone calls. I couldn't have asked for a better company to work with. I would highly recommend this Steven Todd Leasing and Sales to anyone that is buying a new or used car!

Michael Allen is genuinely a nice guy. My husband and I have bought 3 cars from him now. We are very happy with his expertise in helping us choose the right car for us. After our recent purchase he not only fixed a little mishap in my new car after only 3 weeks, but he wanted to show us that we will valued customers and detailed and touched up little dents on our car we previously bought from him. He made sure all details on both cars were in perfect working order from the tires to the engine to the body. We feel that he is totally honest with us. He would wait for the right car for us to buy and tell us about the history of the car. He is a gentleman and sincere, not pushy but caring. I had a great experience buying a '10 BMW from Mike Allen. I initially looked at the vehicle because it was a good price and fit the criteria I was looking for. The car had low miles and was very clean. The car buying experience was easy and low pressure, and Mike was very helpful, responsive and up front about everything. He had a small dent in the door repaired that I didn't even notice and had an interior repair guy come out to the car after I picked it up to repair a mark in the center console. Now I have a practically new car! I will think about them again in the future, and have already recommended them to a friend who is in the market for a new car. Thanks again!

I drove up from Indiana to purchase a 2002 Honda CRV. The price was great! I couldn't find a better deal. It was well worth the trip. They made the entire process easy and I will certainly keep them in mind when I'm in the market for my next vehicle. I also noticed they lease new vehicles. I saw a couple leasing a new vehicle form them.

I bought an '08 camry with 27k mi for 12,000. Nobody caould even come close to this deal on a car that is virtually brand new! The car was immaculate! The Salesman was fantastic! The salesman even fixed front bumper which had minor cracks on the underneath. I didn't even notice it! I would have gladly purchased the vehicle without this repair. The salesman was nice and very imformative. No deciet or misrepresentations; there was just honest information. I would gladly recommend this dealer and purchase from there again. Although I would love to buy another car there, trouble is, I purchased a '08 camry with 27k miles. This dealer will not see me for quite a while since this vehicle should last me over a decade! I had a car that was over the lease miles with several months remaining on my lease contract. Mike Allen was able to take me out of my current lease and lease me the car that I wanted with no hassle what so ever. I didn't even have to visit a car dealer. Before taking this vehicle for a test drive, the following was observed. 1. The oil level was about 1-2 quarts too high. 2. The transmission fluid was dark, and had a smoky odor. 3. The tires were dry rotted, with obvious separation of the tread. Had we purchased this vehicle, we are confident that one or more of the tires would have blown out, on the drive home. It is obvious that this vehicle was not assessed by a mechanic, and represented a safety hazard to potential buyers.

This was hands down the easiest purchase I have made. We found the car online and emailed a bid and we were contacted shortly after. Everything was handled over the phone and through email. When I picked up the car I had to sign all the paperwork and Mike even called my insurance agent and gave them my new info. The car itself looked great. Mike had new tires put on and had the car inspected and detailed. There was a scratch in the windshield so Mike also had that replaced. I would highly recommend Steven-Todd Leasing to all my family and friends! Mike Allen did a fantastic job and I am greatly appreciative to him for making this a positive experience for me!

I have bought several other cars but I have never had such a pleasant experience of car-buying that was so painless and straightforward. I never felt the usual sales pitch with the pretentious outlook to impress me and have no substance to the interaction. Mike was great to work with and showed no signs of being the typical car salesman. He showed no pressure to the car buying process. Be forewarned, I dealt with this dealer (Mike) for over a week, flew out to look at the car, got approved for the loan, ect. The dealer kept coming up with excuses why they could not sell the car, would all of a sudden 'have a customer right in front of him' so he could not talk to me on the phone and then would not call me back when he stated he would....just not very professional

This dealer ship is really friendly. Has the best prices on their cars, the dealer is in a office building which might fool you but no worries because they are legit. I found a beautiful SUV at this dealer for a very great low price in great condition. Called them up first day, came for a test drive second day, purchased the car and brought it hhome within 2 hours third day! They have great customer service and do the best they can to work with you!
