From the word go, David was exceptional in handling our needs. His humble and easy going approach won us over. The only reason we went back to Stevenscreek Hyundai was because of him. The warranty guy was a bit aggressive, but we didn't fall for his pitch. Just be careful when dealing with anyone else other than David here.

I needed 30k service for my Hyundai Sonata 2013. I was browsing for best deal in the bay area Hyundai Dealer. After couple of searches i found Stevens Creek Hyundai is asking for 99.85 for 30k mile Factory Required maintenance service. I was surprised with the quote, so i called the dealer to confirm. The lady told me usually it is 400$. I mentioned that i see online 99.85. She called someone to confirm (i dont remember exact name but it could be Eric). That person asked me how did i navigate to the website. After getting all the details. He told they will respect the the price. The lady taken has given me appointment after two weeks and put a note there for 99.85. After two weeks, i drove from Foster City to San Jose and reached by 7 for 7:30 appointment. After providing the car for service, the Service Director (Mike) says it was an error and they cant provide service at that rate. The internet price is removed after that and asked for 229. I asked i should have been informed after the offer removal. Later he provided $50 discount but this is an awful experience. They should have respected their internet pricing. Unnecessarily i waited for two weeks and drove to San Jose in the early morning skipping office to save nothing. Very disappointing. Never again to this place.

I received a response to my internet inquiry right away. They said they had the 2017 Santa Fe Sport that I was interested in, and it really was on the lot when I got there. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. At no time did I feel pressured. The salesman, Linh, went over all the features of the vehicle before I drove it away; but, of course, it was a lot to absorb. He followed up with a call the next day to make sure I was happy and had no concerns or questions regarding my new Santa Fe. I did have to ask him how to open the glove box, which turned out to be very simple. I never thought I would be trading my Lexus for a Hyundai, but so far no regrets. The whole process at Stevens Creek Hyundai was smooth and painless.

I only visit them twice and bought my vehicle here. First time I scheduled a test drive with salesman Linh Mong, he gave me pretty honest price. I wasn't sure about the price, so I went to Capitol Hyundai dealer checking the same vehicle, Santa Fe Ultimate. Salesman there shows very poor attitude, not serious about our inquiry about pricing. So I stayed there for only 5 minutes and leave. Second time I went to Stevens Creek Hyundai again talking to same sales person. Within 2 hours we settled the deal and drove the vehicle home.

David Gill handled the purchase quickly and was very through explaining the cars features; we found this to be a big help in our buying decision since we didnt have to guess what the various features were. Before deciding on a Hyundai we considered all other manufactures SUVs (that sold for under $60,000) that could tow 5000 pounds and unlike those vehicles the basic Santa Fe Hyundai package comes with an extensive set of features that are extra on the other manufactures cars.

In the beginning of my experience with Steven's Creek Hyundai, I went to the dealership with my boyfriend. We spoke to Manny and we were negotiating prices. Manny was professional and helped get us an "out the door" price. The whole experience was fine, until Manny told us that he "has excellent Yelp reviews, ask anyone, and look online". Not to be mean, but I don't care what YOUR Yelp reviews are, I'm not buying you, I'm buying the car. I just felt that it was an unnecessary and conceited comment to make to a first time car buyer, as I'm more concerned with the car and the price of it, rather than your reviews. Later that holiday weekend, I came in with my parents and we sealed the deal. I walked out as a new car owner.

Overall my experience at Stevens Creek Hyundai was very smooth until the final day when I came in to purchase my vehicle. I was very limited on time during this entire purchasing process so I handled all the negotiation over email and only came into the dealership once to test drive and once to pay/pick up my vehicle. All the staff I interacted with prior to financing discussions were beyond great, but unfortunately my experience starting from the financing talk caused my overall sentiment to sour. Essentially my sales representative began lying to me about why I could not qualify for the interest rate we had previously agreed upon because the co-signer on my financing deal had slightly worse credit than I did. I've financed many cars in the past and know for a fact that interest rates are dependent on the main signer, not the co-signer. He further lied and said that they ran my co-signer's credit report and found student loans on it which make it less appealing for creditors to give lower interest rates. I'm assuming he got that idea from the fact that my co-signer just graduated college, but he has never taken out any loans (for college or otherwise) and after I mentioned this, my salesman awkwardly paused and tried changing the topic. The finance manager continued this game of trying to convince us we wouldn't qualify for the lower interest rate previously agreed upon. But then, magically, we apparently could qualify for it if we agreed to prepay for some maintenance on the car. When I began to explain that I was seeing through his games, he rudely told me to "Stop talking as though you know everything, I'm the one that does here". At that point I was fed up and ready to walk out, at which point he conceded and gave us the exact price and interest rate we had agreed upon over email. This effectively admitted on his part that they were bluffing the whole time because he previously told me he wanted to give me the lower interest rate but Hyundai wasn't letting him. Therefore having officially wasted over 3 hours of my time, we finally ended up where we started. I was also extremely annoyed to find out after that they had run my credit report 4 separate times over the course of 24 hours, which is absolutely unheard of. Now I understand that as salespeople these employees are taught to try and get the best deal for the dealership, not the customer, so I cannot say I am totally surprised. Nevertheless, the level of blatant lying, making up of supposed reasons for not qualifying for interest rates, and overall disregard for my time was unparalleled by any of my previous vehicle purchasing experiences and made this whole process a nightmare. To that effect, I have already warned two friends who are intending on buying Hyundais to try other dealerships first.

I had a good experience while recently purchasing my new 2016 Hyundai Tuscon. David Ngheim (salesperson) was professional, competent and straight-forward. I felt like I got a good deal and the experience was fairly efficient. David made sure that the vehicle was ready for me to drive home that day and personally went to the gas station to fill the tank before I left the lot. That was a nice touch. The financing and extra-warranty discussion was a bit painful but ultimately they understood that no means no. I do understand that they have to do their jobs and in comparison to other cars I have bought, they are more aggressive. I would definitely recommend the dealership to others and particularly David Ngheim.

This is my second purchase of a Hyundai and I'm really happy with the manufacturer of Hyundai cars and Hyundai Staff. My dealer was excellent and gave lots of useful technical information for this is my first time using a navigation system and bluetooth capabilities. Abby was helpful too with ensuring I had all the right documents closed and saved. He booked my first service and made sure my forms for my first service had all the right information of what I purchased in my financial agreement.

I set up a meeting with Michael Vu, Internet manager, he was very polite and respectful. He wasn't pushy and seemed very knowledgeable. He explained the rebates and discounts and we were able to agree on a price rather quickly. My credit was thrashed by my ex-wife and it was pretty hard for me to get approved for an auto loan when I went shopping for a car a few months ago. My current car broke down and now I had no option. She was looking for a small car to get to work and go grocery shopping so we stopped in a few dealerships up and down Stevens Creek Blvd. I had a pretty bad experience at a couple of the dealerships so I was very skeptical when I drove in to Hyundai. Parking was a little difficult but after we found parking David Nghiem came to assist me and my mom. He asked my mom a few questions and suggested a couple of cars that would work out for her. When we asked when we would receive the payment coupon during the financing, Abby Ferozy reassured us not to worry and that the payment coupon would come in the mail. However, if we did not call Stevens Creek Hyundai, we would have never found out that in order to receive the first payment coupon, we have to register online. This would have caused us our credit score. This is upsetting because he could have saved us a lot of time we spent looking for the payment coupon and calling them.

I had a wonderful buying experience here with David Nghiem. He took me out on a couple of test drives and help me find something that fit me comfortably. This was not an easy task since I am not a very tall woman. I also needed a lot of cargo space to fit my dogs so he suggested me the Elantra GT which worked out perfectly.The seats folded down flat and gave my dogs plenty of room to lay in the back. David showed me all of the incentives that were available and gave me a wonderful deal. I felt extremely happy about the purchase because of the ease of the transaction. I was looking for a used vehicle for my daughter that would fit into her budget. I saw a few high mileage cars down on San Carlos but it just did not feel right. I was greeted by David Nghiem when I arrived at the dealership and it was like taking a breathe of fresh air. So much more of a relaxed no pressure experience with David. He asked me what I wanted and I let him know that I wanted something that would fit into my daughters budget and something that would not last for a few years. He walked with me and showed me his used car inventory but none of them really was what I wanted. He then suggested that I should think about leasing an Elantra for my daughter. I never really thought about leasing a car but it actually made a lot of sense to me after he explained the benefits and it was actually perfect for my situation. Thank you David for getting my daughter into a brand new car with a low monthly payment that she was comfortable with. Now I don't have to worry about the vehicle breaking down on her too. What we were told we would love it once its REPAIRED. Hello a new car I had driven less then 12 miles. It's failing sure does not give you a great feeling of pride in your new car. It should have met all of are expectation. In this case it does not. There will always be a feeling of whats next. So it is very hard for us to recommend the Hyundai and this dealership to are friends and family. Its sort of joke amount them now asking where the new car. At this time I will not make any comments on Quality of work because I do not know for sure if the repairs will last. The one good thing about the dealership is we feel that you have the best professional salesperson Bill Ayres and finance manager Abby Ferozy.

Good buying experience. I went in with intent to buy if they could impress me on price. I already knew about the car inside and out so I just needed a test drive. Getting to test drive the car was a bit of an ordeal since it sat inside, but in the end I was about to take it out of the showroom for a quick run through the gears. Even though I paid cash, the financial guy took forever with sales pitches. Then he actually left out a document and wanted me to call him. No way. His problem. Dave brought it to my house to sign. I have health issues and was completely exhausted at the buying process. He drove me home. Never could have made it on my own. Dave presented me with a 2016 to test drive. I really enjoyed my entire experience here. From the test driving to my questions being answered. The only fumble that occurred was during the final stages when my down payment was mishandled by finance. I specifically told the staff to not cash the check until the transfer of funds had cleared. As a resut i bounced my check because they did not follow through on my instruction. I still have yet to be reimbursed for the bank fees i was charged as I was promised by Hyundai Staff. If it were not for this i would of scored Stevens Creek Hyundai perfectly!

I had purchased a used Genesis Coupe from a dealership in Sacramento that I had found online. Since I work in San Jose, I brought my car in for a covered warrranty item (condensation within the taillight lense). The car had the balance of the 60,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, and when I made the appointment, I was assured that the part was covered, and that they had a replacement lense unit in stock.By the time I arrived in the afternoon, the sun had evaporated the mornings condensation. Brian, the service rep, stated that the supervisor would need to speak with me. He came out, eyeballed the bumper and declared that the car had been in an accident, and that the lense was probably cracked. I told him I had a clear Carfax report, to which he replied that the car was probably repaired without a body shop, and that he could tell because the bumper had been re-painted. He told me he had "many years" as a body shop owner/manager.Bottom line: they would not investigate the problem w/o a written estimate which I would be required to sign...at that point who know what they would "find". I declinedto have my car looked at, and left.I contacted the dealership in Sacramento where I bought the car. They offered to check out the problem for free. He also stated that he had seen several taillight seals fail, and that any paint on the bumper was probably touch up paint applied by them to repair minor scratches on the bumper, to make the car cosmetically more appealing.Stevens Creek Hyundai lost a potential customer, as their location is very convenient to my work. I definely will go out of my way to find a more accomodating dealership

I went to lease a car here and I actually leased an Elantra for 205 a month and paid 2500 upfront ... After 9 months of use I had to return a car due to moving to another state. On the day signing the lease I was told in case of cancellation I have to pay 400 dollar only and when I wanted to return the car I found that it was a huge trouble! and I ended up paying 1600 dollars. They are thieves and liars...Never trust them

The process of negotiating was very simple, I told them what my realistic numbers were, they met them and we signed. It was definitely one of the better experiences I've ever had. Even the finance guy wasn't pushy...in fact I wish he had pushed harder on GAP because we ended up without it.The facilities were pretty old, floors had dusty bunnies on them and there was no parking for customers, had to negotiate through tight driveways to get back into the street to park there.

Let me start by writing that I recommend Mac and Stevens Creek Hyundai for your car purchase. In my experience, they focused on customer satisfaction, before, during and after the purchase of the vehicle.On July 17, 2012 we purchased a 2013 Hyundai Elantra GLS PZEV A/T from Mac at Stevens Creek Hyundai. Mac provided us with the best offer on that day for this ski blue Elantra that included the GLS preferred package, first aid kit, ipod cable, rear bumper applique, cargo net, cargo tray, mud guards, and carpeted floor mats. We only wanted the preferred package, the carpeted floor mats and the color was a must have. However, the price was right with the additional accessories.We are satisfied with the price paid and services received. It all started with needing a car for a new Job in CA. We immediately started to negotiate on line with dealerships in the Santa Clara, CA area. We had already reviewed many 2013 cars (Corolla, Civic and Elantra). We test drove locally the Corolla and the Elantra before deciding on the Elantra. All that was left to do was to buy the car in CA. The online negotiations started about a month before even setting foot in CA with three dealers. We narrow it down to two. We arrive in CA on the July 16, 2012 and during that afternoon we interfaced with the two dealerships. The next day we settled with Mac. Reluctantly because representatives of the other dealership were implying that Stevens Creek Hyundai was not a good place to buy a car. Specifically that their paper work was messy and the lack of coordination among departments. It seems all seamless to us. After settling with Mac, we went out for a meal, came back and signed the papers. Mac when over the car with us and we drove off the lot. The negotiated price included dealers discount. We also received a recent college grad discount that same day. We provided the dear with the required DD 214 for the military discount and received the check four weeks later.We made a great deal while receiving great services. We bought a car from this dealership yesterday (8/27/12). The salesman was great but the rest of the dealership totally failed on customer service. We negotiated our top price and they kept coming back with "can you help me out more on this?" responses. Finally, we walked. As we walked up the block to our car (no place to park near the dealership), we heard shouting. The salesman and the sales floor manager were running after us! They said they would accept our offer. I gave the salesman my credit card for the down payment (I wanted the points) at 5:13 PM. We did not leave the dealership until well after 8:00 PM. We finally got to talk to the finance manager around 7:30 PM (he said they were really busy that day - like we cared!) He gave me back my credit card and said they could only accept a check or cash for the down payment, which meant they kept my credit card to hold us hostage for more than 2 hours after we negotiated the deal. He want through the pricing. It turned out that they applied a $1500 "dealer incentive" that made our price fall easily within what the dealership could meet. We are happy with the car, but if you buy from this dealership, refuse to give them a check (or anything else) until you see the finance manager. It may save you from spending hours in the waiting area. Or don't obey your peace-loving spouse and make a big fuss if they rudely keep you waiting, as they did for us!

I used cars.com to find a new hyundai and submitted list of wants to dealers. Stevens creek came in with the lowest offer by far. i showed up at dealership and contacted internet sales, they honored my offer, no hassle, no b.s. I bought the car and was pleased with my purchase but surprised when they presented me with my car which hadn't been washed and sticker tag residue still suck on windows. I needed to go back for a couple of things and Robert in parts was very helpful and got me what i needed, no charge. I would use stevens creek hyundai again. t

I had a wonderful Experience purchasing a new vehicle with Shawn and Tim! Stevens Creek Hyundai had the only Pacific Blue Pearl base SE Sonata in the West Coast. They even honored the "Plan A" Hyundai Circle Price (Family and Friends Pricing) certificate which I had obtained from Hyundai Corporate. Shawn had taken my deposit over the phone and was willing to hold the car for me for 2 weeks. I booked up a flight from SoCal, had all my paperwork ready, and was in and out of the dealership within an hour. Tim and Shawn were VERY professional and courteous and would recommend purchasing a vehicle with them!

I went to cars.com, got a quote for a 2012 Veloster, $18,350 (that's MSRP + destination charge and the typical options at full price). I called AND emailed Mac, the internet manager to verify that this price included any markup, accessories, destination charge etc. He said AND WROTE yes, this is the final price of the car, excluding tax and doc fees....quote good for 72 hours.So I travel one hour to the dealer. Look at the EXACT car, and say "I'll take it." Mac had me fill out a credit app. Fifteen minutes later a sales manager calls me into the office and says "we can't sell you the car at that price, we're hoping you'll work with us." He told me Mac should not have quoted that price, that it was a mistake, and they meant to sell the car at $2000 markup, but if I would just "work with him" I could have it for less, but not at the quoted price. I told him I intended to buy the car for the quoted price. He said that was not possible. I asked to speak with the owner. I was told he doesn't work on weekends. I told him I'd wait in the lobby until I could speak with the owner on the phone. SUDDENLY (less than five minutes) he was magically available in a back office, where I was escorted and was told that "the market price had changed since this morning" and that he "would lose money selling the car at MSRP." What a load...any dealer would be happy to sell cars at MSRP, this dealer just realized he could make a quick buck selling it for more.

To begin with, I went to this place on Sunday afternoon to buy a car for my brother. Its his first car ever, so we were very excited. We expected it to be busy, so we were willing to wait. The Sales manager mentioned that he is short of staff and will check if anyone can be free.A sales guy, Ron came over immediately to help us out. He showed us the Elentra and the Sonata. We mentioned that we are looking at other cars too and that sort of irritated him.We first took the Elantra for a test drive. While driving around, we asked Ron some questions and were trying to get our doubts cleared. He was being very rude and arrogant.We came back to the showroom and were waiting for Ron to get the Sonata keys as we mentioned we wanted to test drive both. Since Ron did not return we went inside to check and there we were told that "Ron is frustrated with us and our questions". We asked for an explanation and the sales manager could not give us one. He was in turn very rude.I guess they sell enough cars that they really don't care about their customers. I am glad I had this experience. This is how they treat us before we buy the car, I cant imagine how they will treat us after we buy it and need it serviced.Please go to the place only if -1. You dont ask questions. If you do ask questions about the cars, they get irritated and do not entertain you.2. You dont mind being insulted by some racist sales team.

First, the salesperson lied about their inventory. I was looking for new Hyundai Sonata GLS 2011 with on-board GPS. They don't have one and told me they do before I paid a visit. On site, they tried to convince me that aftermarket GPS will be as good as the original one though different. Therefore I agreed to pay the FULL price of Sonata with on-board GPS and get one with aftermarket GPS. It took two weeks before I actually get to see the GPS installed. Immediately upon installation, I found that it lacks the most important features - voice activation+traffic information+steering wheel control. These three main features are the advertised features of Sonata GPS. Not only that, the installation also disables my voice-dialing for bluetooth phone. Feeling being cheated, I immediately requested a removal and refund on GPS part. The general manager Abby came and assured me this can be fixed. He later provided me with information of Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT GPS and asked if that fits my need. After carefully inspection on the specifications of this new GPS, I further confirmed that this replacement GPS will make sure my steering wheel buttons control effective too. Satisfied by these assurance, I agreed on this replacement. However, Abby told me I'll have to wait indefinitely. I was really tired of contacting Abby everyday for two months and it gets nowhere. Finally, I gave up and requested a removal and refund a second time. This time, this dealer refused any of my phone call. This whole process took me two months and still unfinished. I kept all email evidences for this transaction.

Firstly, when we called to see if they had a vehicle in stock before driving to the dealership RON said it was in stock. When we go there, we were greeted by someone else who showed us around. They did not have the car instock that they originally said they did. We were continuously lied to about which cars they could get, and said there were only TWO of the models that we wanted in the entire state of California. (Which after going online afterwards, we found that there are many many more than just TWO). They are disgusting sales people, who don't tell you anything close to the truth, tried to get us to pay a deposit so they could "check and see if they can get a car shipped"... absolutely horrible. Don't waste your time here, ever.... I would pay more money to go somewhere else.

Ron Tobin will let you drive for 2 hours only to find out the car you called him about was sold the day before. The lot only holds 40 cars Ron Tobin could have got off his 300lb butt and looked and seen it wasnt there. but instead he wasted one of my only days off (4.5 hours round trip) driving there to be told that he was mistaken. Please dont drive there and waste your time and money with these morons.

I had been looking for a used 2007 BMW 335i sedan for sometime. I happened to find what looked like a good deal at Stevens Creek Hyundai. I figured since they were a Hyundai dealership, and not just any ordinary used car dealers that it would be more legitimate.I found the advertisement on AutoTrader and called the dealership. I spoke with a guy named Carlos a couple times between Friday 1/15 to Saturday 1/16. I told him I was very interested, but since their dealership was 3.5hrs away (I live on the Central Coast), that I would like to come to some tentative firm price over the phone. He checked with the sales manager and agreed on $24.9K. I said okay, I will rent a car and drive up there on Monday 1/18, which was a holiday. Just to make sure, on Monday, I called the dealership again and Carlos was not there, but Ron was there and he confirmed the car was still there and definitely could sell it to me for $24.9K. So I rented a car and drove 3.5hrs up to Santa Clair to the dealership. When I got there, Ron said there was no way he could sell it to me for $24.9K, and denied that anyone had ever told me that! I could not believe it!But something even more unbelievable happened. Ron convinced me that we should go for a test-drive, during which another car crashed into the BMW!!! We were stopped at a traffic light and another car hit us from behind. Ron got out of the car and into the car behind us so that "they would not get away" and he told me to drive to the dealership while that car followed us. Back at the dealership, I just stayed in the car while Ron went inside with the other car driver to get their insurance information. No one ever even asked if I was okay from the accident; minor as it was, my head/neck/back did hurt somewhat. I just stayed in the car for a few minutes, but then I got out to see what had happened and inspect the damage. There was a dent the size of a golf ball in the bumper, and the window on the rear passenger (to the driver's side) would not go back up. The window was stuck or somehow malfunctioning as a result of the car being hit. We had never put the window down prior to the accident.So anyway, I was furious and just in a state of shock, and after Ron was done collecting the insurance information, he called me over to his desk. He had the nerve to tell me that he still would not barge on the price, even after the car had just been in a sketchy accident!!! I told him I would not buy a car with an accident in its history, because it would lower the resale value due to the report showing on Carfax/Autocheck. Ron assured me that they could fix it up and NOT report the damage to Autocheck/Carfax!!! I could not believe my ears!! This dealership is so unethical and immoral, they should not be in business! I have a strange feeling the whole accident thing was a setup, otherwise, you would report a real car accident. And if not, then they are a bunch of lying scam artists for everything they put me through!Not to mention, I wasted $82 on a rental car and gas to drive 3.5hrs up there, and another 3.5hrs back home. My whole day was wasted by these dishonest con artists posing as Hyundai car dealers. I would never set foot there again, and I feel like there should be some legal action taken against them.The VIN Number of car is: WBAVB73587VH21387I have also posted these details in the CarFax comments report section, but they only allow 1000 characters, so it's a bit shorter than the explanation here.Stay away from Stevens Creek Hyundai! It's very unfortunate, but this whole incident has turned me away from the Hyundai car company as a whole. I can't believe they would allow such dishonest people to run an authorized Hyundai dealership!I hope by writing this I've saved someone else some hassle/headache.

This car dealership and the staff is so unoerfessional in dealing with there cutormers I was treated like a child Abbie is rude and very argumintive The car spelled like dogs been in it and had dog hair in it,i had a headach and i was sick by the time i left this car dealership,The dealership bounced a a check in my account,On last week i whent to this dealership asking about the money they owed me for the bounce check $33.00 they said they needed proof but i allready gave them proof,I asked about the money they owed me regarding the differance in the payoff of my trade and Shawn said we owe you money i said yes So they cut a check for me and no one was there to sign for it,Later that day i took them more proof for the bounce check and a copy of the other check i wrote to them witch cleared so i was told to call back at 5pm last week and the two checks was cut a\fter i gave them more proof but still not sign and to this day 8-31/09 im waiting for the two checks to be cut thats very unperfessional to me
