Bought a Toyota Rav here and they promised us a spare key and now won’t respond to us. Promised the car smelled like mildew because the cleaners didn’t do a good job. “ some of the guys are good at their jobs and some aren’t” is what we were told. I would give 0 stars if I could. They got one over on my family and know it so now they just don’t answer? Wouldn’t recommend

The dealership was great. They had a huge selection of Highlanders to choose from. That was the real reason that we selected the dealership. Leng was very prepared and spent alot of time with us. I had my grandmothers Toyota RAV4 and although it was a troubled car, the service department was great! They explained everything thouroly and did everything possible to help any situation. When it was time to get rid of the car, the dealership offered me the best price for my car in cash and I leased a new Camery from Ray Sadler. He gave me an unbeatable price on a lease and I was sold. I do not have a negative thing to say about the dealership or anyone in it. 10/10

Customer Service at it's finest. I worked with Lazer Volaj - I worked with him on my last lease and decided to go with him again because of the service he provided the first time around. I was not able to go to the dealer, he drove to my place of work, had me sign all docs, exchanged plates from my old lease to my new lease, and drove my old lease back to dealer. Eric Smith gave a initial price of a 2016 RAV4 hibrid as $27000. I told them $26000. Smith told me to come in to the dealership he can will give a "better" price. Went to the dealership wasted an hour. Then the his "manager" comes in and said he can't do anything about the price of $27000. I was ready to buy the car that day. Too bad, because of this conning dealership and its employees another unhappy customer. Never ever will go there or recommend them to anyone.

I took my 2008 toyota corolla for a recall . They also checked the general shape ot the car. they only advised me on having a few minor repairs done and the front brakes which were thin. I felt like they did not take advantage of me as a customer. They also provided a very effecient pick up drop off service so that I did not get stuck waiting at the dealership.

CS did all they could. Hard to believe a seat belt system does not last life of car. Car is close to a 10 year old with over 150,000 miles (mostly highway miles), but I never had a seat belt system break in a car.

I went to the dealer for replacement of car key and the transmitter. At beginning, I was told that the Service fee (to programming the keys) was $75 and the keys was about $160, so the total should be under $250, which I accepted. Fewer hours later, they called me saying that the labor for programming the keys was 2 hours and the fee would be over $300, so the total charge was near $500. I just could not believe what I heard: $500 to replace car key! I disagreed with those charge and asked to talk to service manager. Finally they reduced the charge to $290. I was very unhappy with the experience what I had with the dealer. I have searched online and most people said the cost for replacing car key is no more than $200, how this dealer was asking for almost $500, though I end up paying nearly $300.

I drove by the Dealership last week and decided to stop in as I was planning on trading in my Toyota next month. A few days later I was driving away with my brand-new Toyota Camry. I came in for an oil change to my Scion xB and left with a new Scion iM. Leng was very helpful and answered all of my questions and concerns in moving to a different model from Scion. I am still a bit disappointed that the brand will be absorbed into the Toyota line but Leng has made the transition turn into a new, sporty ride for me. I'm loving this car and it's quite a head-turner, too. Thanks Leng! We'll do it again in 36 months I hope.

At Suburban Toyota I was able to find a great vehicle at a great price. My salesperson was Guy Mulder, he was very knowledgeable and patient as he helped me narrow down my options and find the ideal car to fit my budget. They gave me a heads up on a great RAV4 Limited which was arriving at the dealership in the next couple days and I fell in love with it. I was very happy with the experience. The only reason I'm giving the dealership a 4/5 and not a 5/5 is that I was led to believe I it was likely that I could get a really low interest rate through the dealership. When that wasn't the case, I ended up financing through a credit union and got a rate I was very happy with. Overall - the shopping and buying experience was great.

I came to this dealership because I saw a vehicle that I originally leased the same vehicle years ago. Initially, I was told that they do not accept loans from my particular credit union and was told that they accept the amount I was originally covered for in my loan and would cover the costs over that amount. Little did I know, Guy had me apply for a new loan through them for the full amount. I was told, by Guy, that he was only trying to get me a lower ASP rate than I was originally given by my credit union. Aside from all of that, it was xxxx near impossible to get in contact with Guy. I would send multiple emails, calls and voicemails, only to get a response once in a blue moon - mind you, this took place over less than a weeks time. Not only did it take the dealership almost 4 days to give me a response about whether or not the car was approved, they never once told me what I was approved for or what my payments would be, ONLY until I threatened to walk away from the deal unless I had all of the information presented to me. I would highly suggest staying far away from this dealership, and probably all of the Troy Motor Mall Suburban Collections.

I had a car in my mind, visited a dealer, Lazer pulled it out, and went for a test drive. This dealership has a good size waiting area while staff are all friendly. Lazer was friendly, considerate, and not forceful about a decision at all; very flexible and pleasant the whole time. On the same day, I drove the new car home, and all went well. It has been seven days, no problem with a car and just waiting for a check for the trade-in. So far so good.

I recently purchased a 2016 Toyota Tundra TRD pro at suburban Toyota. Eugene was my salesperson and from initial contact to final walkthrough, it was a great experience. As this was the only TRD pro within reasonable distance of metro Detroit, there was no room for negotiation on the price of the new truck. Eugene did provide a reasonable price for my trade though. My overall experience was great, although if you don't have your financing prepared before going there, be ready to spend a few hours.Eugene was very knowledgeable and straightforward with the whole process and I would consider purchasing another vehicle with him.

He was extremely impertinent. This was the rudest way to handle the situation. We were about to take the deal, but after receiving this type of service, we decided not to. My experience at Suburban Toyota could not have gone more smoothly. I tend to take my time making decisions and Eugene, my sales person, was never high-pressure. He was quite knowledgeable and provided me with the information needed to make my decision to purchase a Camry XLE. The color and package that I wanted was not in Suburban's inventory but Dennis, the sales manager, was able to get my car from an out-of-state dealer in one day! Eugene helped me set up blue tooth and apps (very grateful for this, as my last car was a 2002 Camry without such advances!). I'm extremely happy with my new car. The entire team at Suburban was professional, and I highly recommend Eugene.

Like others on this site, I do not typically write reviews, but my experience was so pitifully BAD that I feel like I need to share it: I went in to "test drive" and potentially BUY a car. I did drive the car, but I had hardly turned the car off when my salesman, Chris started to tell me about the aggressive pricing they have at Suburban and how they only make around $200 per car. Huh???? So........what he is telling me is they will not sell a car for less than the asking price.....NO MATTER WHAT!!! Well, I did make an offer but it did not work out to THEIR benefit, so I walked away. I did purchase a similar vehicle at ANOTHER DEALERSHIP with minimal issues. Chris NEVER followed up with me regarding any other cars that might be a fit for me.......it was more like a "don't let the door hit you in the xxx on your way out". Want a bad experience.......this is the place you want to go. They will not sell you a car since they don't care about YOU the customer........they are driven by their "profit margins" ONLY. Save yourself some time and go someplace else.

My scion has 50k miles, no alignment problems, drives straight, even drove it to florida and back no issues. Last month I got new tires so I decided to get an alignment (its recomended to get alignment everytime you get new sets of tires). I decided to pay extra by going to the dealership because I thought I would get the best service. I was wrong?! After driving off the dealership, I notice the car started Pulling to the Right! I waited another day to see if it change but no, My car is now pulling to the right! So I called the dealership and told me to take it back to the dealeship and said they would "take care of it". I went to the dealership the next day and the service rep who I spoke with on the phone and said shell be there to " take care of it " was not there. So i said thats fine, instead, a service rep name Andy took my car to get checked. After 1 hour waiting, he came back and said they could not do a full alignment because the "rear adjust arms are locked and rusted". I asked him why? He said "because your car is old". First of all my car is only 50k miles. Garage kept. No visible rust. Second, I was thinking why did the dealership let me drove off knowing that they only did half of the alignment? Were they thinking I wasnt going to notice? Im not a mechanic my self but I can tell if a car is pulling/driving to the right. So I spoke with the service manager cause all the response from this andy the service rep is "I Dont Know" . Dean the service manager spoke to me and said the same thing and added that I need to pay $400 for that adjust arms that are not even broken to begin with for them to be able to do a full alignment. I told him its not broken and my car was driving straight before half xxx alignment. He told me theres nothing he could do. I spoke with their boss Jeff K and said the same thing they couldnt do anything. I went to better business bureau and also said they could not resolve it. My car is still pulling to the right. This experience made it clear to me not to ever go to this dealership anymore. I have a lot of family and friends that buys toyota and go here, I will start telling them to go to a different toyota dealership. If you want good service Do not Go to suburban toyota

Well, I never wrote a review in my life. This is my first and probably last. I understand that I need to submit some documents to get a lease. But, the way I was asked for the documents was really bad. The words like "If I don't get this document, I lose my job" isn't the way you ask for a document ! One should let the customer know that it is a mandatory document. Yes, selling the car fast is your job. But, there is no need to RUSH the customer for documents. Well for Toyota, I believe a "customer" is more important than your "job" - PERIOD.

I had a very good experience with Suburban Toyota Scion located in Troy Michigan. It was a little rocky at first because they wouldn't give me the deal, but a week later I got the call back that they were ready to make the deal with me if I was still looking for a car and I quickly responded yes that I was ready to purchase that vehicle. It was a good deal for a certified pre-owned vehicle. I will say being from Ohio, things are a little complicated when trying to finance, as they do not accept out of state letters. So that was a little tricky to get figured out. Customer service was great, Ryan Hennard, my salesman was great and extremely helpful, the facilities were clean, the car was in great condition, just as advertised and it was an all around great experience for my first car buying.

Our experience at Suburban Toyota was great. Leng made the entire process very easy. She was very helpful in making our decision with the Highlander XLE we chose. We went back to the dealership 3 times b/c we were so indecisive, but Leng was very patient with us. Even more so, she was very helpful in getting us to a monthly payment that was even less than we were willing to pay. I can say that Leng provided us with the best, no pressure, but attentive car shopping experience I have ever had. My experience with our salesman George Varughese was very good! George was friendly and took the time to answer all of our questions regarding our car purchase. We purchased a Toyota Corolla Special Edition and we love it!! It is quite a change from driving a mini-van for the last 22 years! I have not been in a car showroom for a couple decades and wasn't sure what to expect. George put me at ease and made the car buying experience a very positive one! He walked us through how to use the navigation system and other neat features of the car that were all new to us! I found out about Kamil from the previous awesome reviews. This was my 4th lease with Toyota and was the smoothest hassle-free deal ever. He was very respectful, no nasty salesman tactics. He quickly met me near my counter-offer and didn't waste my time going back/forth to his manager like other dealers. The deal was nice considering my not-so-great credit score. Stuart also was great. He was transparent and kindly explained how my lease payment was calculated including the residual value and rent charge. Very smooth signing process. Truly respectful and hassle-free. Other dealers would be pushy and try to add-on unnecessary fees/services once in the Finance bunker.

After speaking with Eugene from Suburban Toyota I scheduled an appointment for a test drive. Eugene came with me during the test drive and was able to answer all my questions about the Tundra. He is an expert with vast technical knowledge about the Tundra and is very professional. After the test drive I negotiated a price and bought the truck. Eugene also helped with programming the Bluetooth, updating the navigation system with new software and installing the tie downs for the bed of the truck. Today I was on Suburban toyota of troy. I went there for oil change and fire rotation. They said my car not due for oil change but I need to do fire rotation. After few moment service rep came to me and said my car rear brakes are not good need to change and gave an estimate for over $350. I said not rite now. Than, after another 10min later, service rap boss came to me and ask me to do it. I said no I can not afford at this point. They tried to scare me and said it could make problem on your car. After I get out from dealer I went to bell tire. Bell tire inspect my car and said my car brakes are very good. I don't need to change. I have no idea about other dealer or other people experience but I am never going to trust suburban Toyota of Troy anymore. I was lucky today that I did not step on their trap. Now think about how many people they are doing the same thing and making people pay for nothing and while they are taking the car to fix the problem who knows they are not making another problem for your car. If they make another problem then you you will go there again and they will rip you off again. Friends do not go there anymore for any issue on your car.

Recently I went there for myy 2011 Toyota sienna First we went for flat tire and they change two tires with full price .later I found I had warranty on my tire(I changed all four tire last year) and they did not check it when I asked they were able to give me only 25% But I had to wait 3 hr for that and the main reason I went as my car was shaking while driving on highway when I brake .they told it might be for new tire will take some time to adjust! I went back after couple of weeks as s it did not get better so they want to charge me for diagnostic($135) and found that problem in my rear brake and charge me about $450.00 for change it .after repair the serviceman came and told me problem still persist as its due to rotor in front and they need to rotate the rotor and need 2 hr for that (another $270). I did not haves time and luckily left that day . I search on internet and found its very common problem and not a rocket science to understand the problem in the rotor. I finally went some other place and actually change the rotor and brake pad in front wheel. Very upset why they did not tell me the actual problem and later try to just rotate the rotor to cover it up . i f I did not change the brake I would have to change it soon. They also take extra time I don't think its two hr job just to rotate the rotor .I bought this vehicle from them and the initial experiences although good later I really had bad experience. I bought warranty on this old vehicle ( as they told if I don't buy during that time I will not be able to buy later but can cancel any time) so after a month I decide d to drop the warranty and contact the dealer and my salesperson refer me to financial guy .I was able to speak with him after multiple try and told me that I have to sign the paper and they have to send it ,so I did and went to dealer and signed it . after few months my warranty was not canceled and try to find the finance guy .left message multiple times and even one time speak with one of the manager as well but never get a call back. So I called the no that was in warranty card and they told me they never received any request to cancel it, its actually a easy process , u just have to fax s paper to them stating that I want to cancel that. I have no clue why they made it so hard and finally never did it.

Last two years I bout two cars from there preowned certified , both times I wasn't happy , about everything there , the treatment , the way they look at u , they tell u stuff and you don't see it after , last time I was there to sign and take the care , there was 50 $ extra on my price , I signed and took the car with reviewing the paper work because I trusted them ... Saw the vehicle on line, saved it and the dealer contacted me right away. I made my intentions clear that I was very interested in the vehicle, drove 90 miles to purchase it, Mike was on the ball having the vehicle prepped for us when we arrived and the purchase went extremely smooth. Everyone at the dealer was warm and friendly, great car buying experience! I wish they were located in my town! The other point I would like to make is that they have a really good automotive line up in the Toyota brand! I was very impressed with the new car inventory! The vehicle that I purchased was one of only a couple, but the rest of their inventory was massive. Sadly I'm not going to be able to experience their service department as it is to far to drive, so I will deal with the local dealer that still upholds Toyota quality service.

My salesperson treated me real well. He listened tho my needs and concerns and responded to them. He was honest. When he didn't know the answer to certain of my questions, he said so and said that he would find out. Then, he did so. He knew his product and knew his stuff. He explained the various warranties and extended care programs real well. He respected my decisions. Lastly, he communicated to me a strong message that his dealership would take care of my vehicle service needs after the sale. I negotiated contract provisions with the finance manager. The negotiation was a real give and take. He, too, listened to my concerns and responded well. Never did I feel under any obligation or pressure to buy any option, accessory, or warranty. Therefore, I recommend Suburban Toyota to anyone looking to buy or lease a new Toyota.

This is the first time buying a Toyota, I found my car on the internet & received a immediate call back, set up an appointed. When I got to the dealer, the car was in the lot with a HOLD sign on it. Nate (salesman) was prompt, courtesy, answer all my question in the dealership & when we took the car for a test drive. They held the car for me, for 2 day. When I wen to sign on the car, I was given a tour of the service area, was shown the car, so I could go over the car one last time. Then I spent about 30 min, with the finance person, who again answered all my question & never pressure my to buy any of the extra services.

Working with Jay Edwards of Suburban Toyota was wonderful. I had been looking all over for a Lincoln MKX loaded; the model before the body change over in 2011. This dealership had one in great condition with a one time owner. Jay was helpful, kind and not pushy like some of those car salesmen are that just make you want to run out of the dealership. They ran my application on the previous day so that when I got there everything was taken care of and all the documents were ready to sign. I was in and out of there in no time! Very wonderful experience! The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was informed that its their policy to not give used purchased vehicles a full tank of gas. I thought that was common courtesy for dealerships to give you a newly purchased vehicle on a FULL tank of gas no matter if the car you're buying is new or used. I got my MKX on a little under 3/4 of a tank :/ This in NO WAY reflects my experience with Jay though, he was awesome!

Our baby was born, and not long thereafter we realized the car is too small (we have a black lab, too). When my husband said we need to go shop for cars, AGAIN, I was wondering what did I do wrong in life to deserve being tormented by this.And then we came to Suburban Toyota, and met Sir Guy Mulder:) I don't mean to sound pompous, but he is THE BEST. Very respectful of your time, to the point, not beating around the bush, pleasant and knowledgeable. And, I need to add, the most soothing voice you'd ever hear. We came in, test-drove a couple cars, decided on the size, a new car came in yesterday, we got it today. NOBODY WAS PUSHING US INTO ANYTHING. Just a relaxed, not time-consuming, quality car purchase. But end up not happy , especially the used cars manager ..., I just don't know how they have someone like hom there .... I went to Suburban Toyota, met with Nathan Ross a Sales person, gave great service, a good price on the new Highlander XLE, met with sales manager I was offered excellent price for my trade in, more than other dealers offered me. Nathan was very straight forward tried to get me any discounts that applied, was always accessible. They told that the car that I was interested will be in within a couple of days, and it did come in, they called as soon as it came, put a sold sign on it, without me even put a deposit, everyone was very professional, never felt like I was being hassled to buy, this is the kind of dealership I like to buy from. We were on the verge of walking out, but we needed a vehicle ASAP and my son really liked the car. My wife and I have leased more then 25 cars including Laxis, BMW, Jaguir, Mercedes, Cadillac, and Toyata in the 30 years. In Fact I bought two new Toyotas from your dealerships for my two kids. We've never faced any manager who basically told us he did not care for our business, because he has met his end of the year sale target and has closed the books. On the contrary Nathan did a great job. He was very helpful, courteous and friendly. Jeff at Service Desk provided excellent service. After the car was returned to me and the Service Dept. forgot to fix the seat belt, Jeff whisked it back over there and made them fix it even though it was nearly 5PM. The side mirrors stopped retracting after the service call, not sure why, but overall the service provided was very good.

The experience I had at Suburban Toyota was great! I was not exactly sure what I wanted other than it had to be a car that fit my bike inside, was fun to drive, got good gas mileage, and I wasn't in a hurry to buy. Kurt pierce was very personable, professional, knowledgeable and helped me narrow down my search to a Mazda3 hatchback. He even let me put my bike inside each car I tried out to see if it fit! He always made me feel good about my choices. He also still stuck by me even though I had to hold off on my purchase due to the passing of my mother. We finally found this reeeeally fun to drive, easy to fit my bike in , and got good gas mileage Mazda3 hatch! And, to top it off, it was a really cool midnight blue! I have to say that when I first strolled into Suburban Toyota, I wasn't sure I was ready to puchase a new car. I wanted to check what was out there, but I did know that I wanted another Prius, a certain color and 0% finacing too. I met Nathan Ross, and he was so kind and patient as we test drove a few different cars. This went on for a couple of months, but he kept looking for the right car for me. In August 2014 I was in the middle of a busy time at work and totaled my car. I needed a new car quickly, and my mom recommended Guy Mulder at Suburban Toyota in Troy. Mom knows best--Guy was great to work with, and accommodated my schedule and needs. Most importantly for me, I got exactly the car I wanted for the best price I could find. I also shopped for financing but Suburban was still able to get me a better deal than I got on my own. Our multi-generation Prius family recommends Guy as the person to go to for a Prius--or any other car in the dealership!

On 6/30/2014, I purchased a Corolla from this dealership, together with two services: Dent Repair(provided by Dent Zone, TX) and Wheel/Tire(provided by Suburban Toyota) ($1298 package in total). The financial person (MT) told me I could cancel these services anytime. On Tuesday, 7/29/2014, I went to this Dealership and asked to cancel the two services. MT had I signed a form (I asked if I need date it, MT told me 'no need to'), telling me that I was all set and the the amount would be deducted from my loan.On 10/17/2014, I wanted to pay off my loan and checked with my lein holder, finding out that the above mentioned services were still not cancelled. The next Monday (10/20/14) I went to the dealership to have my 5000 mile maintenance, and brought this up to my salesman. He appeared to be surprised and raised my question to M T. They then stepped out of the office, saying that it usually took 45 days or more to cancel. MT also told me not to pay off till the services got cancelled.Couples of days later I got a letter from the Dent Zone, saying that my cancellation requested on 10/21/2014 (not July 2014!!!) has been processed, and the refund check was sent to suburban Toyota. I called Dent Zone and was told that they received a cancellation form on 10/22/2014, with the date 10/21/2014 next to my signature. Apparently it's MT or somebody in suburban dated the form.I went to Suburban Toyota again on a Saturday (11/1/2104), but both my salesman and the financial person were off that day. A man (the manager, I guess) received my complaints. This 'gentleman' insisted that it took 4-8 weeks to cancel the services, and kept saying "what job do you do? Don't you know that the documents could sit on the manager's desk for 2-3 days before get signed?" He also said they process this kind of issues (such as my cancellation request) when a month nears end and said it's just a coincidence that my 2nd request to cancel my services on 10/20/2014, and my Dent repair service got cancelled on 10/21/2014 by the service provider. Before I left, he promised to look into it and would give me a call the next Monday, which I never received.On 10/29/2014, I paid off my loan. I went to suburban again on 11/15/2014, and was told the refund from Dent Zone was sent to my previous lien holder (Huntington). The manager told me to go to Huntington for it. MT was 'surprised' that my service was not cancelled in July and said he would contact Dent Zone, and would call me the next Monday--he did not call. He also said I did not need to go to Huntington for the refund. So who's right? the manager? MT? BTW, I did stop by a Huntington branch on the way home, and was told to go to the dealer. What a manager!The Tire/Wheel service was provided by suburban itself. Even so, they have not refunded me.And now it's almost December, after 3 visits to suburban, I still have not received my refund for the two services I cancelled in July 2014. I guess this dealer will never admit that I went to cancel the two services in late July 2014. This is a big lesson for me -- DATE the forms you sign!!Because of this dealership's misconduct, I lost money (paid more interest) and lost the chance to get free repair of a dent on my car-should I know that my service was not cancelled until almost 3 months after my cancellation request. I also paid more for the cancelled services (4 months service instead of less than 1 month)They never apologized, not a single word. Cancellation takes 4-8 weeks!!?? 1: Please do not fool your customers!!! 2: it's 4 months from the day I went to suburban to cancel. And every time you have to physically go to the dealership, my phone calls to MT was never picked up, nor did he call back, and my emails to them get no replies. Although they said "I'll call you on such a day" before I left the dealership, I never got the call.I would never recommend this dealership to my friends. Once you paid them, you are nothing anymore. I just have the thought that they might intentionally do not let me date my form. It's really evil, should it be true.I like the car I bought. But you can buy a car from any dealer, it's the service that is much more important.

I had the BEST experience at Suburban Toyota. I found a used 2012 Camry online and I set up a test drive with Garrett. Everything about the condition of the car was great-he even took time to explain all buttons, safety features, etc. I was able to purchase it at a great price and complete all the paperwork at the dealership-they even stayed after closing so we could drive the car home that night. I was in the market for a used minivan, and after much research and recommendations from owners, I chose a Sienna. Five months ago, I leased a 2014 Sienna van from Suburban Toyota. The car was great, had a very nice ride and offered good gas mpg (22). I liked most everything about it but it was just too darn big. I could barely fit it in my garage and parking was really tough. So my first oil change was due and I needed to take it in anyhow so I asked my salesman (George Varughese) if there was anything he could do for me? Also, an insurance adjustor that I know told me that the front bumper looks like it could have been in a very small collision, but the car fax sheet said that there is no record of any collision or repair work. This could be the fault of Carfax and not the dealership though. My other complaint is that there was no bargaining whatsoever, and I am not sure if I left money on the table by buying for the price that was listed. That is my fault though.

I did a search for the vehicle that I wanted online and found exactly what I wanted at Suburban Toyota/Scion. I went in on a Saturday afternoon met with Jay to inquire about the vehicle, he was very professional and courteous. He informed me that they were holding it for someone that was driving in to look at it from across the state. He did offer a test drive in the vehicle, which I took out. While I was gone he called the person numerous times that was coming in to look at it. When I returned, I told him that if the other customer did not want the vehicle to let me know, and I left. Within 45 minutes Jay was calling back to say the vehicle was mine. I was very pleased with everyone that was involved with the process from Jay (Sales) to Mike (Finance). My only complaint.....the car was detailed carelessly. Some sort of cleaning spray (Armorall) was sprayed all over the inside of the vehicle and not wiped down properly. I do understand that by the time the whole process of purchasing the vehicle lasted till after closing, but it only took me an additional ten minutes to do a proper wipe down after I returned home with the vehicle.

Lisa was great to work with and I found her approach refreshing. She did not employ the usual car sales technique and made the entire experience enjoyable. I would most certainly work with her again.Regarding the conditioin of the vehicle at delivery, the outside had an obvious paint chip and instead of offering to fix it, they ordered paint for me to do it. The inside of the vehicle was also lacking in clean up detail. It was a demo model, and picking it up on a busy Saturday was an error in judgement on my part. I should have left the vehicle and had them clean it properly while they were fully staffed.

Leng Huang is a real +++++ gem. I had been looking for over a year for a new car at Ford, GM & Chrysler Dealers.( Bad experiences) This Toyota dealer was a big surprise. Going by the reviews for Suburban Toyota I had my appointment at Victory Toyota cancelled for a part recall. I scheduled the service appointment with them well in advance. I drove 40 miles to Suburban on a Saturday early morning to find that they do not have the part. It was really frustrating since they knew I was coming in for a part recall. The person at the service desk (Greg - not sure if I got the name right) was very rude and also did not seem to be apologetic in his behavior. A big disappointment for driving all the way on a weekend and not having the job done. More frustrating was the rude behavior. Francis

Prices were pretty inline with all the other Toyota dealers I called, maybe a touch better. Tony, the sales guy was really nice and went over different options available both car and financing. He took a good amount of time with me even though I'm not set on Toyota yet. Looking at 3 different manufacturers. Would go back here if I decided to buy Toyota cuz Tony made the dealer. Manager was a little high pressure, trying to get me to do something ASAP even though I still hadn't drove one of my other choices yet. Other than that dealer was a really good experience.

not a reliable dealership, especially in financial department. The person in financial department who prepared documents added extra things like life insurance, diamond fusion insurance without customer consent. Had a hard time to get hold of them to take off unnecessary charges and finally involved legal help to resolve the issue. Be careful to go through paper work carefully, if you decide to buy from them otherwise they will rip you off.

I came to the dealership with my mother because they had the car I wanted, a blue Camry. I found the salesman, Guy, to be informative, friendly and no pressure. He was responsive to our needs. The Sales Consultant hurried the work along because my mother was very tired. They even sent out for lunch for us while we waited. I have never actually have taken the time to write a review on anything, but something grabbed my attention today at Suburban Toyota. So I have recently purchased a new 2014 corolla LE from a sales representative, George( who by the way is an excellent and kind person). I had a problem with my windshield wipers and had to take it in for them to look at. I drop my car off and a shuttle driver from toyota gave me a ride back home. Then i get a phone call from Tony, saying that there is a problem with the wiring, and that is why the windshield wipers are not working. He said it would cost me about $300 since it will take the 2.5 hours of labor. This is where it got interesting. He told me he could do his best to cut down the price to $250, since i have recently purchased the car and it happened because of an unfortunate accident involving icy roads. He didn't put me in the position to awkwardly ask for a discount, i didn't have to explain my situation, he already knew. I really didn't expect it. So, understanding Members of Toyota, I give you two thumbs up! Keep up the good work! (They also gave me a free Samsung tablet which i wasn't qualified to get, Long story short, i bought the car with a black friday deal, but i saw a advertisement for a Christmas deal about getting a free Samsung Tablet with the purchase of a car, so i took the advertisement in and told them i wanted one, because i bought the car only about two weeks ago, and they said no problem, here is one.)

I was in Saturday to get an oil change and a recall done. Katie Spellman who was friendly and enthusiastic to help, went over and above to help me. I misunderstood the time frame when I set up the appointment. She kept on top of what was going on and the schedule to keep me informed. When it was unclear at how many hours it would take, she arranged a car for me to get somewhere I really needed to be. I made sure my family, friends (and nay-sayers about "foreign cars) know how great the service is here each and every time. I am always treated as an important customer and very much appreciate it. Besides, you can get coffee, tea, water and usually something to munch on. If you have to spend a Saturday morning in a dealership, I would recommend this one.

From the moment I walked through the door I felt no pressure from either Ray, Scott or Andy even when I said I had to think about the deal. The next day when I decided to purchase the car Scott and Andy made it one of the best experiences I have had in a car dealership. Went in looking for a good used car for my teenage daughter. Drove out with a very good used Honda Civic. Dealt with a salesman named Guy who was a perfect example of exactly what you would hope for in a good salesman. Helpful, but not pushy in the slightest and very trustworthy. Had a small issue after the sale, unrelated to the purchase, and not something I would expect the dealership to be accountable for, and Guy was nonetheless extremely helpful and went the extra mile. We did our homework, hit the lot and Garrett appeared in an instant. He was informed, involved and intuitive. He answered questions with ease and provided vehicles that we could compare side by side. He handled the detailed paperwork efficiently while engaging in the excitement of our purchase. He introduced us to Andy who was able to take us through the final financial paperwork and inform us of the additional options for coverage. That is a daunting task and he was a wizard at putting you at ease while providing as much information as you asked for. We certainly understand that they are in the business to sell cars; however what we appreciated was the feeling that they were there to provide us with whatever we needed to make the best decision for our purchase. When you are making a big decision I guess you really want to feel it is all about you! They did just that. We drove away with our new Prius V. Its Great experience....Other than Finance Interest 9%, am happy in overall.I would expect similar and lower interest rates as credit societies who gives 3-4% only. Any how----as I like the product, that interest deal is not much concern to me, as I can close at any point of time. Am happy at least I have this option....But.... I really like the customer sensitivity of Mr.Ray Sadler, who gave me options to look in to different models. and he is more oriented to provide satisfaction for customer......Its great. That is what it is required for any Dealer. I hope, Mr Ray Sadler is good Asset to this Suburbon Toyota !!!!!!

I was overly impressed by this dealership. The majority of my dealings were with my salesman, Kurt Pierce. Friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and informative. Very helpful in getting me in the vehicle that I wanted. Went out of his way to make every part of the experience a great one. I am not a very demanding purchaser, but I did request a couple of things be done (kind of over and above the call of duty on his part) and they were done. I have had two pleasant experiences with Toyota dealerships in the past year (one not Suburban) and this was by far the best.

We found a Toyota Rav4 at this dealership through autotrader. Not only was it practically the lowest priced car of it's kind in several hundred miles, but it was a certified Toyota pre-owned vehicle as well! We were very, very happy with the value of the purchase. We also had a great experience with the sales team. Ray handled our case which was probably the most difficult, complicated case they've had in a long time since we both had out-of-state driver's licenses and we're moving from Michigan in a couple weeks. He spent days answering our questions promptly and doing a bunch of research on how to make things smooth for our purchase/registration/insurance. We had a great overall experience there and are thrilled with our car.

I went to the Suburban Toyota in Troy to buy a used Toyota. This was for my sister, but instead we bought it for my mom. The experience was great. We were approached by Ray Sadler, and He showed us different type of Toyotas. Being Albanians, we were very picky on our choices but also undecided. Ray took his time and was patient with us. Since my family and I weren't making any progress on the choice of the car, we went to different dealerships to see other cars. In the end, we decided to go to Suburban Toyota not only because of the car but Ray called us many times, and we were able to purchase the Toyota Camry. The price of the car was right, and we enjoyed the time that we spent at Suburban Toyota. Ray Sadler made it easy for us to get everything done. After entering the Dealership, I was shortly referred to Ray Sadler. He then took me outside to recommend a couple cars of the model I specified. He also said to browse around. After deciding on a vehicle and returning inside, Ray was back to me shortly, as he was also with other customers taking care of their concerns. Sort of like multi-tasking! While going thru the purchasing process, Ray efficiently answered any question I presented. The dealership was very busy at that time and day, but any wait was not considered excessive. During the process, Ray introduced me to the General Manager. While waiting thru the finance process, I chatted with the cashier about the upcoming new facility. Overall, the atmosphere of the dealership was upbeat, Ray has an easy going personality and is a very conscientious worker.

I went to the dealership as it was near to my home. I am new to Michigan and chose them as they are very close to the place that I have chosen to stay.I was attended by Kurt who is very friendly and polite and attended to all my requirements. He took a great deal of time to show me the probable options to match my requirements. Infact I chose a car and then next day I changed my choice,obviously to a better one, and he helped me get that car. I was not very sure at first in making a decision considering my constraints but Kurt proposed multiple options to get the car that I wanted. Not only that, infact he suggested me to one of the insurance agents who got me the lowest rates but as I am new to US and this is my first car, due to those constraints I couldn't complete the deal and had to choose the next best alternative. But definitely like to thank him for that as well.I would definitely recommend him if you are visiting this dealership not only because he is very friendly but also he never rushes you to make a decision and helps you in the decision making process. Once the car was finalized, as I needed financing I was referred to Andy(Business Manager) and he is another endearing person. Not only he got me the best rates but he helped me get the possession much sooner than I had expected. He genuinely cares for the money, people put in their cars and proposed multiple options to safeguard the investment in terms of getting extended warranty. My husband and I looked at various crossovers for days. We wanted a great vehicle for a decent price and Toyota had been one of our top choices. One thing my husband and I can't stand are pushy people. The folks at Toyota were friendly, energetic and laid back. They also maintained a professional attitude. Don Cherry was awesome. Right from the get go we appreciated his character, style of work and his "selling tactics" which were just being real and genuine...which is exactly what we wanted. From the start Mr. Sadler was open and honest about what he thought he could do for us. He was genuinely friendly and never tried to pressure us into anything, at anytime in the process. The pictures of the CRV was even nicer looking in person than the pictures that were posted online. Suburban also got us a great interest rate which made our payment cheaper than we originally thought.

This is so unusual for me because I have very high expectations and never feel any desire to write a review, much less feel like taking the time to set up an account to write one. That being said, the reason why I have given all "5's", is in my opinion, they have earned it. I visited 4 dealers and test drove 10 cars in just a few days, and was frankly tired of the stereotypical games that various sales people were playing with varying degrees of obviousness (all obvious BTW).I didn't get that with Suburban or my salesperson Garrett. We talked cars, I felt like we were both on the same page of mutual respect. I felt he knew what he was talking about, and I felt he understood what I was talking about. I overestimated my time to get to the dealer and was 10 minutes early. He was ready for me with the car sparkling out front. I had to make another appt with another dealer (against my better judgement); I ran late (and communicated it), they still weren't ready when I showed and said the car was getting washed for the test drive as an excuse. The car came around and was filthy with brake dust all over the wheels.This was my third Toyota purchase. I've purchased them all at different dealers locally, out-of-town, and out-of-state. Based on this experience, I will be checking out Suburban Toyota first before anyone else, even though I live 80 miles away.Thank you Suburban

My wife and I arrived on a wet and chilly evening walking around the pre-owned lot. Guy Mulder came out to meet us and asked a few questions, including a price range, to see if he could help us. I was considering replacing a mid-size Saturn station wagon and was not quite sure what I wanted to look at since I didn't want a SUV but a sedan didn't accommodate the occasional need to carry cargo. Guy asked what we thought of the Toyota RAV-4; I said that it might be OK. We then saw a Toyota Venza that had recently come off a lease, a model with which we were not at all familiar with. Guy said that would be a little above the price range, and I replied that I could possibly be somewhat flexible on that. The exterior was somewhat appealing but when Guy showed us the interior we were impressed with the spaciousness and attention to detail and functionality. We asked to take a test drive and again were favorably impressed. So we went inside to talk more seriously. Guy answered a few questions we had and we put down a deposit. The next evening we returned to take delivery. Our only negative commment is that it was not until the signing of the final paperwork were we given information with prices on post-warranty extended service agreements - it was too much to sort through in a short time.

MY 2010 TOYOTA RAV 4 ALONG WITH THE ODOMETER READING PAPERWORK WAS TURNED INTO THE DEALERSHIP ON FEB 27TH, TWO MONTHS LATER I RECEIVE A CALL FROM TOYOTA FINANCIAL REGARDING THIS LEASE TURN-IN AND WHEN I WAS PLANNING ON TURNING IN THE VEHICLE, I TOLD THEM THAT I HAD TURNED IN THAT CAR TWO MONTHS AGO, WHY AM I BEING CONTACTED, SO IT WAS SUGGESTED THAT I CALL THE DEALERSHIP TO FIND OUT WHAT'S GOING ON. SO I CALL THE DEALERSHIP TO INQUIRY WHY I'N STILL BEING CONTACTED WHEN I TURNED THE CAR IN 2MONTHS AGO. I SPOKE TO DENNIS BARRERA AND EXPLAINED TO HIM THE SITUATION, HE SAID THAT HE DID INDEED HAVE THE KEYS BUT HE DID NOT HAVE THE ODOMETER PAPERWORK AND PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THAT ULTIMATELY I WOULD HAVE TO COME INTO THE DEALERSHIP TO SIGN OFF, BUT INSTEAD OF SAYING TO ME, MS. COOPER LET ME CALL YOU RIGHT BACK AND DOUBLE CHECK ESPECIALLY SINCE YOU ARE SAYING YOU DID TURN IN THE PAPERWORK HE DID NOT, SO I HAD TO DRIVE ALL THE WAY TO THE DEALERSHIP AND WHEN I GOT THERE HE COMES OUT WITH A COPY OF SAID PAPERWORK SAYING THAT HE DID FIND IT AND HE HAD FAXED IT OVER TO TOYOTA FINANCIAL. I WAS LIVID FOR TWO REASONS, HE WAS PLAIN RUDE TO ME THE ENTIRE TIME AND WHEN I DID GET TO THE DEALERSHIP, I HAD TO ASK FOR AN APOLOGY FROM HIM FOR HAVING ME TO WASTE MY GAS TO COME TO THE DEALERSHIP WHEN EVERYTHING THAT HE NEEDED WAS ALREADY THERE. I AM VERY UNHAPPY AT HIS CRASSNESS AND HIS UNAPOLOGETIC DEMEANOR. I WILL NOT EVER BUT ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP NOR WILL I RECOMMEND YOU ALL TO OTHER PEOPLE. Suburban Toyota is by far the best car dealer I dealt with here in America and I went to about 20 of them. I was working with Ray Sadler from Sales and Andy Shayota from Finance. Together these two are an exceptional team. Given the fact that I have absolutely no credit (new in the country) I was rejected by all banks and car dealers to finance a car even with 50% down. Sadler and Shayota would not take no for an answer kind of guys. They worked all day to help me finance my Toyota Camry SE V6 and get me the best possible rate, which when I shared with some of the people I know was told its a very competitive rate even if I have an established credit history which I have none. I also didnt have to put anything close to 50% down. The finance Manager, Andy Shayota, was in office at a Friday night until 8 PM to make this deal happen calling people on their cell phone in the after business hours. Ray Sadler on the other hand not only stayed with me to see this deal come to fruition but also gave me a lift to Alamo car rental in Detroit airport and back to the dealer premises (hour and a half round trip). He was probably back at home by 10pm that night. I did extensive research and I know they hardly made any money on this deal but despite of that they were more than willing to give their all to help me. Now I have a cool Toyota Camry SE V6 and a credit line that would act as the means to establish my credit score in this country, something that was causing me a lot of distress given that no one wanted to deal with me in the first place due to the lack of a credit history. Thank you Suburban Toyota in Troy. Thank you Ray Sadler and Andy Shayota. You made it happen.

Both Ray and Andy were very personable and not pushy. Ray (the salesperson) listened to what I wanted, answered all my questions, and went out of his way to make the deal work, negotiating the price and even shuttling me to the dealership to sign purchase papers. Andy (the finance manager) explained everything thoroughly and patiently even though it was closing time and another customer had unexpectedly showed up and was waiting to close on her car after mine. I know it was a very long and hectic day for him, so I appreciate the time he spent. The price of the vehicle was fair, and the service was friendly. Better scheduling would have been nice, but the dialogue with Ray and Andy's great sense of humor and passion for his work more than compensated for that mixup. I look forward to driving my Prius and saving on gas!

We went to this dealership because we wanted to see the 2012 4-Runner they had in their new vehicle inventory. We saw it on their website, but wanted to see it in person. We were pretty sure this was the one we wanted. My husband's 1996 4-Runner was totaled in an accident and he needed a new one. He loved his 4-Runner and wanted another one. We were met outside by Garrett and he immediately showed us the vehicle. It was love at first sight. We went inside and started the purchasing process. We felt very comfortable from the moment we met Garrett. The whole atmosphere of the dealership was very warm and friendly. Garrett even drove us to the bank so we could get a cashiers check for the down payment. I really appreciated it because we had driven from Canton and I was not familiar with the area. We then were introduced to Raymond Borg to finalize the deal and sign all the necessary papers. He was very easy to talk to and explained everything in detail. He made us feel very comfortable. The whole experience of this purchase was the best we have ever had. Never felt intimidated or pressured. We love our new 4-Runner. Thank you again Suburban and especially Garrett and Raymond.

The technicians at this dealership could not figure out the problem that i took the car in for 3 visits. Each time they claimed it was a different part, ordered it, and then the day they were to install it, suddenly it was a different part. An outside company evaluated the car and could tell me in 5 minutes it was the amp--something it took this dealership hours and days to diagnoseFurther, since they made me pay for a part they did not put it, they told me they would give me a refund. They then proceeded to ignore all my calls and not call me for 2 weeks even though i left several messages. I finally left a message with the main manager telling him I have put the issue into credit card dispute and suddenly he called back and said the check will be in the mail today.NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.

I came to this dealer based on US news recommendation to get fair price for Camry SE. I am a busy professional and I do not have time for the usual dealer games! I send them email to verify the price, and I went with my wife in the evening to test drive the car and sign up on the price that we agreed on. I live in Farmington Hills but still got car from Troy because of the prices they offered, customer satisfaction, friendliness. Andy is calm, very hardworking and he will see to it that we can get best deal by applying maximum discounts. I had to wait couple of hours for delivery of car but I would say it was worthit when you get excellent price and great customer care. I wasn't looking forward to shopping for a used car, primarily because I don't like dealing with the hard sell of car sales and the less than forthright information that sometimes goes along with that. Suburban Toyota Troy and Andy Shayota changed that. Each of the staff I encountered at Suburan Toyota Troy were very friendly and helpful. They allowed space to look and not pressure but were very accomodating when I requested help or information. I worked directly with Andy Shayota. He had a great upbeat personality. He seemed invested in the relationships with his clients. He was friendly and helpful and shared some history of the dealership itself and in doing so made it clear that they value honesty in the sale as their reputation is more important than just the sale of a car. I've given the highest ratings to Andy and the dealership because they made the experience of shopping for a pre-owned vehicle (which I was dreading) a great experience and their pre-owned vehicles were very competitve for other cars in the area. Andy took care of every aspect of the sale with little effort on my part to get things together so that when I came in for the paperwork it was ready and quick with no hassle. Within two weeks, my parents also went to Andy to purchase a new vehicle and were happy with their experience as well.

I went to the dealer based on what was posted on their website. My rep was very helpful, but would not honor what was on the website, which was why I went to the dealership in the first place. The store manager said it was a mistake, and that the warranty was incorrect. I asked what the store could do, and they gave me one extra year of bumper to bumper for an extra thousand dollars. I wasn't impressed.The used 2009 Civic had a carfax, but the dealership had no idea about the actual history of the car; it had no documentation of previous service, and no owner history. I was not impressed with the dealership. I will not go back, nor recommend it.

We had been seriously considering a Prius for quite a while, so based on their glowing reviews, we went to Suburban and met with Ernest Gribble, and found exactly the car we were looking for at a very reasonable price. We came back in a few days to pick it up, and the paperwork was painless and efficiently handled. We never felt any pressure to make decision or buy something we didn't really need. Compared to my last highly unpleasant experience in buying a new car (lookin' at you Colonial Honda in Glendale, CA), we found this place to be a joy. The employees clearly enjoy what they do and we felt like valued customers at all times while we were there. We would unconditionally recommend this dealer to anyone in the area considering a Toyota.

This dealership give incorrect information to their customers. Jay Tuttle tole me that a bearing could not be pushed out of the knuckle without breaking the knuckle. After the repair he said sometimes the knuckle cracks/breaks. This dealership steals from customers. Don't frequent this dealership.

We had 2 dealerships given us in a "True Car Pricing" referral. We went to Canton first since it was much closer even though Becky Bennett called us within 10 minutes of submitting our referral information on-line. We had a HORRIBLE experience at Canton where we sat for over 2 1/2 hours and couldn't walk out of their dealership with a bottom line price on a new Toyota Corolla minus our trade-in. So we called Becky back who was VERY helpful, honest and didn't try to sell us all kinds of add ons we didn't need! In half an hour we had a bottom line price for a new Toyota Corolla S that was the "True Car Price" we expected and a great trade in price on our current vehicle. Becky was awesome, very organized and knowledgeable and that is our idea how a Car Salesperson should be!! Dennis Barrera came over and talked to us about our trade in and other things. The other Canton dealership had the Used Car guy talking to our salesman at another location and leaving us for over a half hour sitting by ourselves at the salesman's desk. Everything about this dealership was very relaxed and friendly--they took away the stress of making a big purchase. Going back into Suburban to pick up the car was a piece of cake. They made suggestions about several service plans available to purchase with good explanations but didn't do the hard sell. Becky spent time with me going over everything in the car before I drove away a very happy Toyota owner. I would absolutely recommend Suburban Toyota and send evryone to Becky Bennett as the best car salesperson we have ever had!!

Right from the beginning I felt at home at Suburban Toyota-Scion. I didn't exactly know what was the best car for me; however, I knew it needed to be 100% dependable and affordable. Becky Bennett listened to me explain my buying situation and showed me comparable models. I never felt rushed or pressured like I have at other dealerships for that "quick sale". That made me feel important. I was going to trade in my 2001 Ford Escape with 120,000 miles on it. It served me well over the last 11 years; however, the dealership never did, so I left them. Finally I was able to settle on a 2012 Scion XD and I am totally in love with it! In a short amount of time Ray very expertly prepared and presented all the necessary documents. Now is the hardest job of all - to wait 4 days until all the "extras" I ordered are put on my new car. I also liked the fact that the Honda dealership was right next door, so I could easily compare the two. Calvin Reed is a very enthusiastic car guy who really knows the product. He did, and the dealership did, everything they said they would and more (gave me $175 in carpet floor mats that I ordered). I received a good price on a one of a kind product (Trail FJ) and it was ready when promised and there was no pressure. The whole dealership seemed happy and everyone wanted to talk. I have gone to this dealer twice now. Once to buy and once to lease. Both times were great, even though the first sales guy was a little new. In that case (Toyota Yaris) the Manager, Dennis, stepped up and took care of all the difficult parts and made it a smooth purchase. For the lease, Steve was extremely attentive to what we needed (the Scion xB) and helped us get the right one.Both times they were more than happy to accommodate our strange circumstances. First time I dropped off after all the insurance agencies had closed so they made sure I was legal to drive out of the shop for the night until I got my own insurance the next day. The second time they made sure that we could leave our old car at the lot and then come back with the title and get the premium stereo installed.It was a great experience I'd definitely recommend them!

I have "less than perfect" credit and Jay and the finance guys were able to work out an amazing deal. I received a warm and friendly telephone call from Mr. Edwards which, made me curious enough to want to visit the dealership, so I did. I was greeted with a friendly staff who said that Mr. Edwards will be with me in a moment. I met with Mr. Edwards who was well informed with the selection of vehicles, and I test drove a couple of vehicles. Afterwards, I selected the vehicle I wanted and wheels began to turn. There were several staff members working together on the sale and each aspect of the tasks were complete and achieved very professionally. My last 3 cars have been a Ford product and I have had nothing but problems with the cars,service and the dealership's. My best friend, a Dr. Winston Htwe bought a car from Ray Borg about 12 years ago and Winston has always had the best of service and kindness with Ray, so he has tried to keep in contact with Ray for any car needs, if it was service, or a new or used car for family or friends, he would alway say check with Ray Borg, he is a wonderful and kind, Nice American Man and he will treat you right and fair. This is what he shares with everyone, his brother, sister-inlaw, they have got 3 cars since here from back home from the help of Ray. Last Friday, I had to work and Winston said he would go and talk to Ray because I have had such bad Luck with other dealerships and Ray would never treat someone wrong and he is the best. Winston went and found Ray early and since Ray has had a promotion to Finance and he is not selling he shared with Winston that he had two wonderful Sales people that would be perfect to help him to find a car for me while I was at work and I could not make it to the dealership until Saturday, they were Steve Roth and Dennis Barrera. Dennis and Steve were Wonderful and Kind to Winston and I just like Ray Borg has been for many years, the both of us are not mechanical at all and had alot of strange questions and Every question was answered by Steve or Dennis with no problem. Steve was with me during everything and went with me on the test drives and showed me Everything about the cars inside and out and had good patients with me and all my strange questions about the cars. Ray sure gave a good recomindation for Winston and I to use Dennis and Steve, they are the most wonderful and kind sales people that we have ever used besides Ray Borg and I look forward to the friendship lasting as long as the one with Ray with Steve and Dennis.

We live over 2 hours away. By the time we got down there we only had about 1.5 hours to look for a car. The team stayed late (10:35 at night) in order to get us into the vehicle that we fell in love with. They have WONDERFUL customer service. This vehicle is exactly what we need. There were two vehicles that we were looking at and because of the 2.99% financing they got us into the one we REALLY wanted but didn't think that we could afford.

I was very happy with the service provided by Suburban Toyota-Scion.I had problems with my Prius battery on Thurs night and Suburban came out to my office in Auburn Hills on Friday morning, picked up the keys, drove out to Plymouth, jump started my car, drove it back to Troy, and charged up the battery. I had my care by Friday afternoon. That's amazing customer service.I will continue to use Suburban Toyota-Scion for all of my Toyota Prius service needs. My wife and I were exceptionally fortunate to meet our salesman, Guy Mulder, who helped us reach our decision to purchase a low mileage 2010 Toyota Corolla S. At no time did we feel the pressure normally associated with car dealerships. Guy was very knowledgeable, sincere and professional. We had researched all the other car brands in the Corolla category, and it was our intention to visit all the dealerships to see the cars in person. Suburban Toyota was the second dealership we visited, but after receiving such personal attention and getting a terrific deal, our dealershiup visit ended at Suburban. I chose the Suburban Dealership because they are one of two Toyota dealerships that subscribes to the Consumer Reports/Zaggthat helps you find a fair price. I spoke on the phone with a person named Dennis who was friendly and not high pressure. I negotiated with him and arrived at a price for the Toyota Camry before I went there. I had the color, and various extras chosen. The papers were drawn up and the car was ready when I arrived.Dennis was busy when I arrived so I did the paper-signing with a person named Steve. He was very nice to work with, friendly and courteous. The last person we met was Ray who presented the extended warranty options. As with Dennis and Steve he was friendly and courteous. One thing that I would like to add is that the people working in the showroom at Suburban seem to be a happy group. When we were signing and going over the paper transfer we saw them chatting with each other. Usually the service is better from an office where the people working seem to be relaxed and enjoy each others company. It was certainly true at Suburban Toyota. They were also well dressed. It was a good experience from A to Z.

Jay is the salesman. He has his cell number on his business card and generally answers on the first ring. He was outstanding; informative and not pushy at all. Ray is the business manager and helped with the financing. He stayed about an hour past closing to complete the financing on the final day of the Labor Day rebate. Both were good to return phone calls and and answer questions even after the sale.Another agent named Anthony helped on the final day when Jay was out. It was a real team effort in a well managed Dealership.

I came into the dealership just to humor my husband, as I was firmly decided on buying the Ford Edge. Well Steve was great to work with. He showed us the RAV 4, but without pressuring us. He let us know about the great deal they were having on the 4 WD model. I went to other dealerships but in the end, my practical side kicked in. I hadnt decided on when I wanted to purchase but it was either 2 months or 6 months out, one or the other. Owning a Prius has induced me to rely entirely on a dealership for service in the belief that Toyota-trained service techhnicians will be better able to deal with the complexities of the new technology. I used other dealerships before Suburban but found the local one I used a little bit inadequate and, of course, the one in another town, too remote. However, all that didn't matter after I had used the Suburban service department a couple of times. I found their friendliness, honesty and mechanical ability made me feel secure and irrevocably led to the decision to use only their services to attend my car's needs. I have always been happy with the way Jim Kreger gets my service needs identified and tells me what the service should cost. And, my car is always ready when promised and at least as clean wa when I brought it in. I have been completely satisfied with every aspect of my service experience with Suburban Toyota.

Friendly, expert sales people. Good price, knowledgeable, no b.s., no high pressure I was able to take advantage of the Toyota incentives also. Although, I am a native Detroiter and a big supporter of the Big 3 I have had good experiences with Toyota and I trust Dennis and now Ben. Plus the Venza is a great car/suv/cossover/station wagon/hatchback (?). I test drove an Equinox, Terrain and the Venza was nicer. I had an Edge I loved but I fell in love with the Venza design and got a great deal. Carry on !

Talk about a complicated transaction!! We were in Mexico when our grandaughter totaled our car in Michigan - we needed replacement.Since we have purchased two other Toyota's from Suburban Toyota, they were the first place we called.As luck would have it, Garrett just happened to have the replacement we wanted!! He walked us through all the requirements, and Fed Ex'd the necessary documents for us to sign. Then he "hand carried" the documents through the "system". I drove by after the dealership had closed and was just looking at the Used cars -- I had been searching for awhile. Shirley had just finished taking a customer home and she saw me poking around the cars and made it a point to stay and chat with me for almost an hour after the dealership was closed. The quality of the service department is outstanding. I had a very specific problem with my van drifting to the right on the highway and always felt as though I was fighting that drift to hold a straight course. The intake personell took the problem to heart and worked through it with Simon who did not stop until he had road tested it to his satisfaction. Indeed we left shortly afterward on a road trip and the van perfprmed like it did when brand new. I have had it back once since with tire rotation and Simon again took an interest and made sure the job was done to his personal specs. All this after I had taken the problem to another Toyota dealer ( in FL) and got no help. It's one thing to do a job to measured specs and another to do it to solve a problem. My hat is off to the service staff at Suburban Toyota!

I have been a satisfied customer of Suburban Toyota for three years. I have always been happy with the sales staff and the service staff when I bring my car in for maintenance and have never had a bad experience. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel like they are glad your there. I just traded in my car for a mini van and my salesman was good about showing me all the little buttons and what goes with what. Even cleaning out my old car and putting everything in the new van, he reminded me about the cd's in the changer and my little car charm that hangs from my mirror. I have always felt that my life and schedule are accommodated. I have been dropped off and picked up from work when my car has been kept for the day for repair, maintenace, etc. And have even left with a loaner car if my car had to stay overnight. Due to the current economic conditions, finding a new car has become an undesirable task because of the costs involved. Yesterday, I went through several different new car lots looking for a new vehicle to lease. When I stopped at Suburban Toyota, I was greeted by Jay who was very knoweledgable and friendly. I told him what I was looking for and at what price and he gave me a couple different options. Before I knew it I was driving home in a brand new Toyota Venza that fits my needs perfectly. My experience at Suburban Toyota was very favorable and made looking for a new car an enjoyable one. I would highly recommend the dealership because of their quality products and service.

Anthony Martin, our salesman, was calm, friendly, professional, and he knew absolutely everything about the vehicle in which I was interested. I was allowed to take a Highlander on an extensive test drive. Anthony explained and demonstrated every feature and system in the car -- heating/cooling, audio, seating configurations, storage, driver controls, etc. When my wife arrived later to look at the car I had selected, Anthony went through everything again with her. All our questions and concerns were answered, and we never felt pushed or rushed. In one long afternoon, we were able to complete trade-in and purchase agreements. The price was reasonable, considering that we were dealing with a hot-selling vehicle with limited availablity. I was completely satisfied with my experience with Anthony Martin, and would definitely purchase another vehicle from the same salesman and Suburban Toyota in the future.

I had a great experience this time with leasing my car. I previously leased a RAV4, which I loved, and ended up leasing another one. My salesperson was very informative and helpful, yet he wasn't pushy. He just gave me my options and left the final decision up to me. He worked with me in turning in my lease and insured I drove my new car the same day I signed the contract. I absoloutley love my new car, and i would recommend this dealership to all my family and friends. Great service!!!

I had purchased a Scion Xa from this dealership (from Frank Sandomerski) and was very happy with the buying/leasing experience and the car itself. I like the pure pricing system with the Scion's. I wanted to get another Xa but that model was discontinued so I looked at the Xd. The Scion's & Toyota's appeal to me for their smooth ride, great gas mileage and sportiness.Originally, the dealership was the one who called me to see about turning the car in early. They were looking for lease cars to resell. That particular experience was not good for me because the salesman (dont remember his name) was not helpful in trying to get me into something within my price range. He didnt want to go the extra mile.The next time I came back it was different. The salesman, Guy Mulder, was very helpful. I didnt think the Xd was in my price range but I guess the timing was right.I was able to prchase/lease the car. Everything went well. Guy and the business manager were great. They treated me like family. I am happy with the car and would recommend the dealership to anyone.

Ray Borg, the finance manager, reviewed the warranty program in a very simple, concise manner. We appreciated his non pressure, low key style. He made us feel very comfortable. He offered us useful suggestions on how to protect our investment through the program.Dennis Barrera, our salseperson, exceeded our expectations in his follow up phone call the next day. I have never experienced this level of professionalism on any Service drive in 20 years. Josh is pro-active, personalable,professional, precise and articulate. Josh is an absolute delite to deal with. He was extremely attentive to my needs and very aware of the importance of my time. Initially I was reluctant about buying a Toyota due to most my family working for chrysler. From the moment I walked into Suburban Toyota I was greeted by Jay, whom immediately made me feel warm and welcome. Being a female I have encountered many dealers in the past who often times will speak to me as if I were a child. I never felt this at suburban. Jay treated me with respect and kindness from the moment I walked through the door. He was very informative, and courteous throughout the entire buying process. I felt as though he truly cared and wanted me in the right vehicle for my busy life style. My wife and I rented a Toyota Avalon in Sedona, Arizona while on vacation this past month. We were so pleasantly surprised with the ride, performance and comfort that we decided to look at one to purchase when we got home. Well, we just stopped in at the Toyota dealer at Suburban in Troy, Mi. to just see what they might have on hand and get some prices. The Toyota Avalon we looked at and drove was quite impressive. We decided to trade in our 2000 Olds Acheva and buy the 2006 Toyota Avalon. We have taken it on a couple of trips and are quite happy with the ride, comfort and how economical it is to drive. Gas mileage is great and the car is fun to drive. Garrett Golke was our sales person. He is well informed about the cars. He was extremely helpful in putting this sale together and the trade in of our old car. We are extremely satisfied with the entire experience with the Suburban Toyota Dealership. Garrett is so personable and a fun person to work with. My wife and I will definately consider going back to Garrett for our next Toyota.

The reason why I have given this rating is due to how the finance dept. operates. Pressure to buy the extended warranty WITHOUT disclosure of fees to cancel the warranty if you change your mind later was never disclosed. They did take up my time showing glossy pictures of auto repair costs and why I NEEDED this overpriced coverage,,, not!!! Further time was wasted showing glossy pictures of road damages to wheels and tires in order to sell insurance against road hazards, luckily I passed on this waste of money. Prepaid and overpriced service contracts to cover routine oil changes and tire rotations were also presented in detail. This brings us to offers for glass etching, life insurance, disability insurance, rental reimbursements and other crap that escapes me at this time. All the while no disclosure as to fees to cover canceling the extended warranty. When I did get details a month later via mail I was told 30 days had elapsed and only a prorating of the $1600.00 would be returned. I then asked to speak to Suburban Scion of Troy Michigan's customer rep. Her name was Corkie or something like that and she was the most disagreeable non understanding witch out there. She said her finance guy Ray did everything correctly and she made a scene in the showroom bordering a madwoman. I left her standing there and attempted to voice my problem to Toyota/Scion by phone and everyone I have spoken to has simply gone deaf on me. Be warned, once they have your money, Toyota/Scion of Troy Michigan known as Suburban Scion has no further concern for you. Shop elsewhere!

We came in previously financed and this guy was an unimaginable jerk about that. He tried every manipulative, coersive, underhanded trick in the book to intimidate us into using his financing. He treated us like we were common criminals because we came in with a check from a financing company---first claiming he'd never heard of them, then telling us that someone at the dealership had been stiffed by them. Get your lies straight, buddy. He asked us threatening and intrusive questions about our finances and credit, though we had already explained MULTIPLE times that we were not interested in his financing. Then he walked away, saying he needed to "make some calls" and left us sitting there for an HOUR and a HALF. It was the classic "cool down" move they talk about on Edmunds. If anyone else in the state had had our car, we would have gladly dropped this dealership like a hot potato. As it stood, despite the fact that everyone I know who has used the same place to finance has gone home the same day, he forced us to go home in our old car, which had to have dealer plates put on it. He tried to make us feel guilty, as though we were putting him through some sort of ordeal, though he was doing the exact same thing he does with every single person who purchases a vehicle there. I talked to our financer the next day, and they said he hadn't faxed them everything they needed. When they finally had all our paperwork (2 days later), I called the financer again to see if they'd sent the okay to Ray, who had claimed he would call us "immediately." They said they'd called him hours before. When I called him he immediately blatently lied and said he'd been calling and calling them, whined about them supposedly being rude to him, and said he hadn't heard a peep from them about the status of our check. I told him I'd just spoken to them, and they said they called him hours before, and he blustered and got defensive, saying maybe they left a voicemail. He put me on hold for all of three seconds, and flipped back over to say he guessed they'd called. "Congratulations," he grumbled, "I guess you can pick up your car." Working with this man was an absolute NIGHTMARE, and I recommend people run, screaming, if there is any chance you will end up dealing with him in any capacity. I hope we never have to suffer through that sort of abuse again.

I would never recommend this dealer to anyone, they are not willing to give a price quote on a car that I was planning to purchase...they said that they will give the best price of all the toyota dealers, and they tried to force me to purchase the car from them without even offering a test drive again they will not give me a quote....hmm a little fishy. The sales rep. is too too too pushy. A warning they will try to double team you with 2 sales reps. DON'T BE INTIMEDATED just walk away, there are a lot of dealers in MI. What out for thier techniques as they are/or think they slick.
