Very friendly and helpful saleswoman, Tiffany Pope, helped us purchase our latest Volvo. She was knowledgeable and answered all our questions and more. The experience overall was pleasant, and she made us feel comfortable & without pressure. we have experienced annoyance from other pushy dealers and it is very off putting, so this was great to make the purchase less stressful. She was very thorough in showing us everything that the car had to offer.

Was in the market for a specific vehicle and found one listed for sale at this dealership, Suburban Volvo, stopped by when they were closed and looked at the car in the lot. Came by a few days later to test drive and met David Viau the salesman, very personable, professional, no pressure. Made arrangements to buy the vehicle and came back at a scheduled time with a check and the car was cleaned up and ready. Would contact them again if needed.

We decided to upgrade our Volvo XC60, which is a great car; with 2 kids we we put a lot of miles on the car, and now that the youngest is in college we decided to trade in for a newer model of the same. Bill Burston helped us find a practically new XC60 with some extra features; we had looked around, my husband even dragged me to Ohio to look at a car, but Bill was able to find what we wanted/needed and then he made the trade in as easy as returns at Nordstoms! So the new model have some great features with lane change technology and cruise control features that make driving easier on the crazy freeways. It probably is the most comfortable car available; we also opted for the service package extras so we will never have to put off service visits and plus any time we have had maintanance or repairs for our many Volvos over the years Suburban has always done the best job and with good prices. I live in California however the only 2016 XC70 I could find with the right color interior and exterior and my desired trim/packages was at Suburban Volvo. Saw a Volvo S80 on CarGurus called about availability, Tiffany made it happen. Made the trek from Indianapolis to Troy, MI and in no time, paper work was signed, I was out the door, complete with a little schooling on the cars features. I purchased a QX56 Infiniti from this dealership used. First I was helped by the a great sales person that spent a good amount of time with me to sell the car. When I came back to purchase the car, I was passed on to someone else. It seemed that he was not suppose to sell me the car because he was too new so Tiffany stole his sale. My next problem is that I had a stain on my arm rest when I picked up the car, I told them to take it back and get it removed, Tiffany took it to the detailer only to come back with him and let me know that it was wear and tear and it could not be removed as many times as he tried. I was told the Manager would call me back the same day, and never did. I left numerous messages to him and other at the dealership and never got any kind of response back. I later decided to take my new 40,000 purchase to a REAL detail shop and they were able to clean up my car and get the stain out. Apparently it wasn't a stain. I can't believe that they sold me the car like this, let alone never tried to contact me after. HORRIBLE!!! BUYER BEWARE!!I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS DEALERSHIP EVER AGAIN.

I am going to spend about $500 getting my Porsche detailed even though I was told it is clean. I believe I accepted the answer 'this is how we do it ' or this is the best we can do" vs saying being a high end dealer you should clean it better.

I contacted Suburban Volvo this week with my interest in an XC90 and have been very impressed. The retail operations manager Rob Lyons stepped in when the sales representative, Tiffany Pope, was off-site. He provided quick replies to my questions via email, and per my pressing timeline, Rob gave me a quote immediately where no haggling was necessary. I appreciate that -- it's a waste of everyone's time when the first offer is a bluff. Kudos to Rob for having his sales representatives' backs! Tiffany picked up where Rob left off and has been sensitive to and respectful of the idiosyncrasies of my decision-making process. Tiffany's straight forward and friendly manner is a great asset for Suburban Volvo. I highly recommend both Tiffany Pope and Rob Lyons.

I visited a lot of different car dealerships and talked with a number of sales people before I visited and decided on the Volvo. There were some really bad sales people that I ran into and a few really good ones. None were better than Kelly Ashton. I did not even visit the Volvo dealer until the end, but had talked with Kelly several times on the phone beginning over a month before I finally decided. She was always responsive and really listened to what I was looking for and how much I was willing to spend. She always responded to my phone calls and continued to keep me informed about potential options. She could have easily written me off, as other sales people did, but she kept in touch. She was never high pressured, but made me feel like she wanted to do all she could to help me, whether or not my final decision was going to be a Volvo. I finally met Kelly face to face on the day I purchased the vehicle. She was even better in person than on the phone. Kelly was totally organized and efficient so as not to waste my time. However, she made me feel like she would give me all the time I needed from her, even though I knew she was busy. There is not much more I can say other than "what a wonderful experience I had at Suburban Volvo and Kelly was a big part of it." P.S. The finance group also did an exceptional job for me. I am a sole proprietor which sometimes causes problems with the banks. The finance people worked through any issue that came up

We were under a lot of pressure to find a good, used car, and in case you don't know, "used car" shopping can be daunting at best! BUT, Kelly Ashton jumped right in, treated us just like "new car" shoppers and she ended up helping us tremendously! We traveled quite a few miles to Suburban Volvo to check out a car we were interested in buying, but as it turns out it was sold that morning. Kelly didn't just say "sorry, maybe next time", she actually racked her brain, searched high and low and found us another car within 15 minutes! We took that car out for a test drive and FELL IN LOVE! Everyone knows when you buy a used car you take a risk, but I am confident in this dealership.....Kelly wouldn't let that car leave until it was fully serviced, thoroughly detailed and we were confident in our purchase. So I went in the dealer because I found a BMW I really liked from them. And I went in, Kelly was the nicest lady ever I can't explain how nice she was. And the loan officer nick had explained to me that my credit wasn't as pretty as I thought it was. The payment came way to high. I was really depressed and thought it was over. Nick and Kelly did all they could in their power, they tried really hard and kept me in contact to help me lower the payment and they ended up lowering it 200 dollars a month!!!! Really excellent service I feel like any other dealer would of just let me go. They made sure I was happy and got the car of my dreams. THANK YOU NICK AND KELLY! Make sure you ask for Kelly if you do choose to visit the dealer! They also have a great used car variety

I recently had my C70 repaired at Suburban Volvo pwithout any further problems. It was also detailed to perfection which is the manner in which I take care of my vehicles. It was detailed promptly and to perfection. I have never been treated so kindly by not only the service representatives, but by every person with whom I came in contact at Suburban Volvo. HORRIBLE purchasing experience from this dealer. Looks elsewhere if your looking for a Volvo and avoid this dealer like the plague if buying a used vehicle. I will never go to a Suburban dealer ever again and will make sure everyone I know is aware of my experience. List of issues:1. vehicle was not detailed and ready when my family and I arrive to pick up car. (dealer was fully aware of us coming and promised it would be detailed when we arrive the next morning.)2. lower door molding was damaged and photo documentation was taken the day that my wife arrive at home with the car after purchasing. Used car manager was condescending and rude. Immediately blamed my wife for causing damage. Contacted the GM and still no help. Still claimed we caused the damage. My estimated cost to repair is over $10003. Dealer claims to have done a "CPO Inspection". Either the dealer techs are morons or they did not do an inspection at all. - Vehicle was test drove at their suggested loop around the dealer lot. Vehicle didn't exceed 40mph. - on my wifes drive home after picking up she called me and asked why the vehicle was so noisy. When she arrived at home I took it to the highway and checked it. The vehicle above 50mph sounds like an airplane. 70+mph is unbearable to drive. - Dealer offered to replace 1 tire due to pieces of tread missing from the LF but no offer to replace the tire causing the noise (RF). Vehicle is AWD and 1 tire cannot be replaced. - I had tires inspected by a Discount Tire and they stated the RF has a flat spot and severe cupping. So now its on my dime to replace the tires. quoted $1100 for 4 new tires matching to what's on the car. 4. After complaining of the horrid noise above 50mph dealer suggested having the wheelbearings checked. This is the most alarming issue. WHY am I the consumer who just purchased a "CPO inspected" vehicle taking it to a dealer to have the wheel bearings inspected. Not only is this insane but a potential safety issue. My family has been very loyal to the "Suburban Collection". Just last year alone my parents purchased a $65k x5 and a $90k M4 from Suburbans BMW dealer. Suburban can count on me making it my mission to make sure I tell everyone I know about my experience. All they had to do was take care of a customer on clear faults on their end. They lost Suburban Collection more sales than taking care of these problems would have cost this dealer.

Over the last several years, we purchased / leased four vehicles from Suburban Volvo! There were a few minor issues which both JHIN and JAMES stated would be addressed.We returned two days later. All of the issues were resolved. Additionally we had discussion with the mechanic who corrected the issues.Long story short, Patricia purchased the SAAB and is extremely pleased with her purchase. Although I am the owner of a Cadillac, which I am very pleased with, I couldn't get the BMW out of my mind. Additionally, it weighted heavy on my mind, the professionalism of both JHIN and JAMES and the swift manner in which the issues with the SAAB were addressed. I returned two days later and purchased the BMW. I have only written a review only once before. I am no spring chicken am retired. I had dealt with with the public through out my previous career. I consider myself a good judge of character. I can honestly say that the professionalism of both JHIN and James have placed a major dent in the stereo type attitude many have of USED CAR SALES PEOPLE. I assure you that if I have any interest in purchasing another vehicle, I will be in contact with JHIN and JAMES at SUBURBAN!

Everyone was nicer and helpful at Suburban Volvo but Kelly Ashton takes the cake. She had me in her book of customers to call when it was time to get out early from my previous lease and did what she could to get me a car with even a couple more options than my previous Volvo had, and it was the same price. Kelly is so excited about the car that it makes it difficult to turn down her recommendation. She is very knowledgeable about cars and what you should consider when shopping for a car. Nothing was a problem for her, and she bent over backwards to make it convenient for me to do my new car pick up when I took my other car to service. One of the keys were misplaced so Kelly mailed it to me so that I wouldn't have to make another trip out to the dealer. I would definitely use Kelly as a sales associate again when I'm ready for my next lease.

Though that car wasn't there they helped us find a similar vehicle with the features we wanted. We purchased a previously owned XC60 from Suburban Volvo. I normally buy new, so this was a first time for me, David V was very helpful and reponded quickly to my emails, phone calls. He was very knowledgeable. i did have to bring the car back for cosmetic work- the previously owner smoked and the car smelled and there was some burn damage to the interior, in addition, there were surface scratches that were easily removed. All in all. I would recommend this this dealership. Volvo stands behind its word, work and reputation.

My husband had an appointment to test drive a used Volvo SUV for me , but upon arriving someone else purchased the vehicle. He was upset, but to our surprise Dave Viau our salesman and James Zelenak the used car manager were able to locate an XC90 within a matter of minutes. Mr. Zelenak was open and honest about the issues with the vehicle and explained everything in detail. Dave showed me all the bells and whistles and I'm a happy wife with a vehicle I just adore. After my recent experience with Suburban Volvo, I will NEVER step foot in the dealership again. I brought my XC70 in for a repair and was helped by Dan Curmi. Dan lied to me about when my car was actually in the bay getting fixed and tried to pressure me into a repair that they were trying to way overcharge me for ($700 to replace a battery and wire that I got fixed at a different place for $250 the difference in labor was $52 at my mechanic or $388 here). They did make a repair to my car that my mechanic couldnt do because he didnt have the software to program the part. That repair cost me $426 in labor. After the repair I researched and found out that the repair is only a 2-hour job, yet I was charged for 3.7 hours. Mike Path & Steve Hough (Sales Manager & Service Director) were helpful after the fact and reimbursed me $200 for the overcharge of the repair that was made and apologized and admitted that Dan and the tech were trying to overcharge me by $275 of labor for the battery. Had I done both repairs as written up by Dan I would have paid $1450 for repairs and would have been overcharged $487 or 3 hours of labor, double what the labor cost should have been. They were trying to charge me for 6 hours on a 3 hour job.After speaking to the management of the dealership for an extended period of time, it sounds like they believe Dan just made a mistake in the estimates of my two repairs. I dont believe that to be the case, I think he was very aware that he was ripping me off and I think the lies he told me about when my car was actually getting fixed was an attempt to pressure me into an expensive repair. They did admit that the service people work on commissions as do the techs, so there is a motive to overcharge.Side note Dan emailed me some info that I requested during the repair process. When I received my final bill after the repair I noticed that my email address was off by a couple of numbers. It was in the system correctly when I came in for repair, but changed after the fact. I think Dan changed it so that I wouldnt receive a survey from Volvo HQ?I wouldnt go here to get your car serviced, but if you have to do the following to protect yourself:1.Get a full written estimate and make sure it breaks down how many hours of labor and the cost per hour (their current estimates only have a total for labor, no breakdown)2.After getting the estimate ask them to send you a copy of the estimated repair time from the software that they use, I believe its called All Dealer or something like that. Its a software program that they use to determine how much to charge for labor. It should give a range for how long it should take to repair your car. This is how I caught them. Another mechanic showed me that the repair was 2 hours and they tried to charge almost 4.3.I would also call a different mechanic with your estimate in hand and ask how much they would charge for parts and labor for the same repair. Make sure you find out how many hours they would charge you and if its much different than what the dealer told you, question it and go all the way to Mike Path or Steve Hough for confirmation of the charge.I hope this review helps somebody out there. I dont think that I just happened to have some bad luck on my visit. I believe the service department is unethical and this has been happening for some time.

My wife and I had been in the market for some time, looking specifically for a newer used Volkswagen Passat. Sifting through the major dealerships new listings each morning, we were losing hope, when one morning the wagon came up at Suburban Auto Group, Troy. Mind you I live in Homer, a close to two hour drive. I did everything over the phone, dealing directly with Jhin Hur, who had the car waiting when we arrived, close to an hour and a half late, five minutes before they closed. Jhin was an absolute professional, who made our experience the best i've ever had at a dealership. I would absolutely recommend buying a car from the Suburban Auto Group. They have anything and everything and committed sales professionals who work late to get your deals done when you need them done.

Jeff Martin, in service, was absolutely awesome. He listened to all my concerns and addressed them. My AC was fixed under warranty and the 30k maintenance was performed, even though the four years from date of purchase had expired. All the software updates were performed. Dealerships do everything in their power to weasel out of paying for any sort of repair, update or perk. Jeff made me feel like he did everything in his power to take care of me. I try to avoid dealerships - this experience will make me go back.

Two weeks ago, I had to buy a new car very quickly when my 2006 Ford Fusion with only 172,000 miles had the engine die without any warning lights or indicator lamps signaling any trouble. So, I had owned Volvos before and I went to Suburban Volvo to see a new Volvo S60 they had on the lot. I got an email from Bill Burston after I checked out the car online and indicated I was interested. I told Bill my predicament and within a few days, I had a new Caspian blue Volvo S60 T5 with the Premium package. Just what I needed and wanted. Bill was a terrific salesman. No hard pitch, just good information and great service during the whole process. I'd recommend Bill to anyone looking for a good salesman.

I know that purchasing a car, let alone a used car, can be a daunting task for many of us but I can honestly say that Stacy and the Suburban Volvo staff made it painless. I ran into some issues outside of purchasing the car but Stacy was able to be patient with me and help me along in making sure I got the vehicle that I wanted. She even came in on her sick day in order to make sure that when I came to pick up the car that everything went smoothly. I leased my most recent Volvo with Bill B. at Suburban Volvo and it was without reservation the best process I had experienced in 35 years of owning, buying and leasing cars. I have over the years moved over to leasing cars with the help of a thrid party broker to avoid having to deal with the typical sales/leasing process at dealerships. Well, Bill helped me to literally cut out the middle man. Bill understood what we wanted and that we, myself and my wife, have very busy schedules. As much as I respect the fact that dealers are proud of their dealership and company, we just do not have the time to drag ourselves back and forth multiple times to make a deal for a car. Bill got exactly what we wanted and at a price that we could agree after one in-showroom visit and 1 phone call. We showed up the beginning of the next week and he was ready with the car, the paper work and everything. The support staff at the dealership also worked well together and they have gotten rid of (or it appeared to us the customer) the old heirarchy of salesperson, director of sales and finance person. While we dealt with different people in all 3 of those areas, they were a unified team dedicated to working with us and understanding that we needed to make a deal and not haggle or be hassled time-wise. One slightly critical issue we have is with the dealership facility itself. It is a little tired and can use some updating to help serve its customers a little better, but that is not in the control of the people we dealt with and Bill B. and Mike P. and Chris were OUTSTANDING. Business transactions, good or bad, are more determined in its success by the people you work with: IE are they knowledgeable, professional and work with you and your needs? In this case 1000% YES. A Volvo purchase or lease can be a little scary, the brand has been owned now by three different parent companies over the last decade or so; European, American and now Asian owners, but we see many of the same people have remained at this dealership throughout those changes and they have worked hard to keep our business and loyality. This says a lot to us. But like anyone reading reviews, the "deal" is the thing, and they were able to execute this flawlessly, even with brand ownership in constant chaos and change. Buy or lease there, you will not be sorry!

She had the patience of a saint to sit in the car with me and go over all the "goodies" that are on the car. This is very important to me who is somewhat technologically challenged! Kelly also calls to see if I have any questions concerning the car. She is never pushy and allows the customer to take his/her time in making a decision. I first leased a Volvo from Kelly 2 years ago and was so impressed with everyone at Suburban that I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. The minute I walked into the dealer the salesperson treated me like royalty. I typically don't have much time so 5 minutes after I arrived it was great I was test driving a volvo. When I returned we talked about the price and within a day made an agreement and was driving my new car. The finance person was very patient while I called for an alternative loan quote from my credit union. Well Volvo's rate was much lower. Totally please with the salesperson, staff and the volvo vehicle.

During my initial visit at Suburban Volvo, I was interested in leasing a vehicle. The service there was great and I could not have been happier with Kelly. She introduced me to a 2015.5 Volvo XC60. She showed me all of the features and literally sat in the car with me while walking me through the navigation features. Kelly showed me how a Volvo is made and what makes it so safe. She is one of the reasons why I fell in love with a volvo. However, after a few weeks of looking around at other vehicles, I decided to avoid the leasing process and just purchase a used vehicle. Throughout searching at other vehicles, I still really loved the Volvo. So, I decided to look for used XC90 Volvos. Why the XC90 over the XC60? Well, purchasing an XC90 was a lot more affordable for me than the XC60. Plus, I was having a difficult time finding a used XC60. After 2 weeks of looking for a used Volvo XC90 that fit the criteria that I was looking for, (under 100k miles, leather seats, moonroof, etc), Suburban Volvo had just received one. I emailed Kelly, she gave me the information on the vehicle and that weekend, I went in to look at it. The vehicle had only been there for 4 days. I took the weekend to think about the vehicle and to actually decide if I wanted it. Of course, I was in love with it. Monday morning, I called Kelly and told her I'll take it. The service that Kelly provided along with all of the people I had worked with was phenomenal: Chris helped me with all of my finances. He was very straight forward and did whatever he could to fit your budget and interest. Kelly will definitely take care of her customers. I am so appreciative that I had the opportunity to work with her. I will definitely be her loyal customer for all my future Volvo purchases. Thank you Kelly!My Volvo XC90, even though used, is in great condition. I have received so many compliments on the vehicle, and it is a vehicle that I feel very safe in. Each day, I am learning some new feature on the vehicle, and it just makes me love the car even more.

My purchase experience with Suburban Volvo was very positive. My used car purchasing experience began with me researching the best and safest used car for my two daughters. I found a specific vehicle that I was interested in at Suburban Volvo and I made an internet inquiry. My email was followed up immediately by Tiffany Pope. I was reluctant to visit Suburban Volvo because it was over 75 miles away from where we lived. However, I read the dealership reviews of past customers and decided it was worth making the trip to see a USED XC 90. Tiffany had been in constant contact with me, answering the many questions I had about the car. She answered them accurately and promptly. Tiffany worked with us to ensure that we were satisfied with the purchase price of the car. I appreciated Tiffany's style of salesmanship. She was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. In addition, I did not have to deal with the "hard sell tactics" that I had experienced from other dealerships. Seeing that the original used sticker price was not over the Blue Book Value, and that Suburban Volvo was still willing to do some slight negotiating, spoke volumes to me. We were very happy with our decision to purchase the used XC 90 for our daughters.After owning the XC 90 for less than three weeks, the power steering gave out late on a Friday night, as my daughter was driving our XC 90 with my husband. The XC 90 needed to be towed and was not drivable. Needless to say, we were frustrated, especially having owned the XC 90 for such a short time. I wrote Tiffany an email, describing what had happened to us, knowing full well that we purchased the used XC 90 "as is". The following day (a Saturday), I received a phone call from James, the used car sales manager. I explained my frustration and immediately he offered to have a tow truck come to our house (75 miles away) and tow it back to Suburban Volvo. James said he would fix whatever problems there were with the XC 90. James arranged and had a tow truck from TROY tow our XC from Okemos that day. I was so impressed and grateful. James, the used car manager, put me in touch with their service manager, Jeff. Both gentlemen did an excellent job communicating the problems that needed to be fixed on the XC 90 and the timeline in which our car would be done. Nowadays it is hard to find such excellent customer service. I believe that the majority of car dealerships would not have done what Suburban Volvo did for us. We are grateful to Tiffany, James and Jeff. This experience could have soured us on Suburban Volvo. In fact the opposite happened. This experience will make us repeat customers. We have our XC 90 back and we are very happy with it. Our daughters love their XC 90 and we are confident that we purchased an excellent, safe, reliable car from Suburban Volvo.Thank you Tiffany, James and Jeff for making, what could have been a used-car-buying nightmare, into a very positive experience. I was getting a "Time for scheduled maintenance" message indicator on my instrument panel. The warranty manual states " The warranty starts on the date the vehicle is sold/delivered to the first retail purchaser or put into service, whichever occurs first." How does the free maintenance pgm on new Volvo vehicles work? I paid $ 89.00 for a oil change and filter and inspection at Suburban Volvo of Troy Mi with my car mileage at 3500 miles and in service for a year. Dealer told me the maintenance light warning light is set at the factory not the dealer,they can just turn it off until the next year warning,so the my car is out of sync by 5 months each year when maintenance comes up.

James the used car manager was great. Very knowledgeable. He sat down and explained everything, gave us options and was very personable. I would definitely recommend him. On the other hand, Kelly is just scattered. She couldn't sit down for five minutes with us. She would buzz by and say I need this or I'm waiting for that or I'm I'm sorry it's taking so long. She called me two days before my appointment and asked if I was comming in then remembered "oh ya, it's the wrong day". It was the same when we purchased our other car a few weeks before. It took forever to buy a car. All day. I have no idea why I went back to her. Actually another sales person, Jhin Hur spent more time with us then she did on both of our visits. I like the dealership and will use them again, just not Kelly. Next time I will use Jhin.

After a day of dealing with rude people while trying to buy a car I finally came across Bill Burston at Suburban Volvo. Most the other dealers made me go find a sales person myself but Bill made the long walk outside to see if I needed anything. He was the nicest person I had met all day and was so very helpful and still is today almost 6 months later. After leaving the dealer and finalizing my purchase on my s60 t5, my Maf sensor failed and I needed to take the car back for repair not even a day after purchase. Bill made sure my car was fixed at no cost to me. I have since taken my car back to suburban Volvo a few times for service. Every time I have had the pleasure of dealing with Jeff(his last name escapes me). He acknowledges the fact that I know a few things about vehicles and proceeds to talk to me like a real person. I've never once felt like he was talking to me like im an idiot like dealers tend to do. He always has a tip for maintaining your vehicle. Also he knows his way around a repair estimate and is definitely the person to talk to when taking your vehicle in for repair. Best experience I have had while dealing with a dealer and I've been to many. I fully intend on having my vehicle maintained at suburban Volvo so I can return the car to Bill in a few years and buy another car from him.

When you buy a luxury car you expect that you will work with a knowledgeable professional. Stacy is that type of professional. I received good information. I live 70-75 miles from Suburban Volvo. The Volvo dealer where I live had only a handful of 2015.5 S60s at the dealership. Suburban has as many 2015.5 S60s in inventory as almost all of the other Volvo dealers in the state combined. My wife and I drove down one Saturday to learn about the S60. We spent over 2 unhurried hours on a test drive and learning about the S60, available models and options. When we returned to pick up the car I was introduced to the service rep who was assigned to handle any service on my car and she spent almost a much time reviewing all of the features and settings for each as when I test drove the car. The S60 is a great car. Stacy is a great salesperson and Suburban is a great place to buy a Volvo.

Service is so bad I had to search for somewhere to vent , I cant believe that this dealership service is so crappy. I've called this dealership over 15 times only to get greeted by a uncaring receptionist who knows before she sends you to service that there's a 70% chance they wont answer the Dam phone ..I have never been sent to a voice mail for a major dealerships service department unbelievable, now when I finally questioned the receptionist I can tell by here attitude this was the norm ...she was not surprised at all....one day she said that it must be lunch time! This is my first Volvo and if this represents Volvo's service it will be my last and I will tell everybody I know to never go Volvo ..I'm really shock at this poor service,,,,,Now for the cherry on the cake ...the Manager Jeff has strung us along telling us he hasn't got to our vehicle yet but it should be tomorrow now a week later he tells us that our vehicle is one of many who got snowed in and there trying to figure how to get the car in the garage YET he told me that the car seems to have some major electrical problems ...how can he determine this if the car is out in the yard covered in snow .....never connected to the analyst computer or anything.....Terrible!!!!! Service don't do it!!

Shopping for cars, whether you buy or lease, has to be the worst experience. Especially as a female who LOVES cars! Hate the car salesmen pitches, hurry buy now offers, or the best one....what does your husband want to spend on a new car??!!...really??!! Well, the team at suburban couldn't have been more responsive to my situation. Car lease up in February. Don't want to haggle price. Walked in New Years Eve at 4pm (after a call indicating there was a lease I would like!) to view a brand new XC60..meticulous and Michael Path cut to the chase..Made the trade in of my old Volvo seamless. Tim, super salesman, and Chris, finance extraordinaire , on deck ready to get auto ready and I had a new car in garage by 630pm! They love their jobs, know their product, and made my New Year a whole lot brighter! That's how you get brand loyalty!

Dan Curmi was the service person who I worked with and he was very professional, upbeat, and friendly. He also helped answer my questions and brought in my salesperson to give me a walkthrough of the internet services. I would recommend this dealership to my friends.

It's a shock to hear when your insurance agent tells you that your 25mph accident has resulted in a "total" of your recently leased 2014 Camero. Suddenly you need another automobile. Fast!Soon I felt much better when I found my Cherry Red 2010 Infiniti G37x coupe for sale at Suburban Volvo. If I had been unfamiliar with the Infiniti brand I would have believed the car they showed me was brand new! The price was right, and the service was fast and professional. Actually, I wasn't all that happy with the lease arrangement on the Camero, it was the first time I had leased a car. It was great to work with James Zelenak, Kelly Ashton and Lisa in financing to buy my new car. I love my "new" Infiniti!! Thanks to everyone.

The day I went in was a very busy day, and James gave me a lunch voucher to Shields to make the wait better, rather than pretending it would just be a short wait. I purchased a Volvo C30 R-Design from Suburban Volvo, and Kelly Ashton was the best sales person I have ever worked with in my 33 years of driving Volvos. She was extremely knowledgeable about the product and was able to inform me of all of the features and answer all of my questions. You can tell that she is a pure professional and her enthusiasm shows. The car had been a leased vehicle, and though it was in excellent condition, after taking delivery I noticed that the driver's floor mat was damaged. Kelly contacted me to follow up on the sale, and offered to help me if I had any questions or needed anything. So I let her know about the damage and provided a photo to her. She immediately offered to make it right, and without further prompting she tracked down a full set of replacement mats for my Volvo. This was no easy task, because the C30 R-Design is not a common car. She sent the replacement mats to my home, and I was thrilled. It completed the purchase experience in a very positive way, and I will be sure to return to Suburban Volvo to meet my needs in the future. Thanks Kelly!

My wife recently purchased a used 2007 Ford Freestyle from Suburban Volvo, with only 30,000 miles. In addition to having the vehicle my wife wanted, the dealership offered fair prices on both the vehicle we purchased, and the trade-in on our old vehicle. The Salesman (Tom Young) who worked with us was very friendly, and knowledgeable. Most importantly, he worked with the dealership management to make sure we would be satisfied with the vehicle and price! When it came to the financing, Lynne was also very helpful. We were targeting a specific monthly payment, and Lynne worked with us to match it to the penny! My wife and I are both high mileage drivers, so we each buy new cars every two or three years. This was the best dealership used car buying experience that I've ever had, and we will be contacting Tom very soon to see Suburban Volvo has another vehicle for me!

I just got my 4th Volvo in the last 8 years. It is the 3rd one from Suburban Volvo. I will be honest. I had been looking at the market very carefully regarding my next car. I visited and contacted dealerships from other car makers including two very popular German brands. Since I have been dealing with Suburban Volvo for so many years, I had totally forgotten what poor customer service is. It was awful. If you want a Volvo, go to Suburban and ask for Kelly or Mike. They will treat you with respect and make sure you have an enjoyable experience. They gave me an amazing deal on my new S60. The service department is also top notch. They have serviced all my Volvos exceptionally well including the one that I did not get from Suburban.

He brought the paperwork to my office, so I didn't have to take time off. He was very well organized and pleasant to work with. When my wife picked up the car that evening, Chris went over all the features of the XC60. She even learned about features on the previous car of which we were never aware. This was an easy purchase for me since I was trading in an older model and just purchasing a newer model for my car. We worked with Mark and he was very helpful and not pushy -- which is appreciated. I left the dealership feeling like I got a little price reduction, but I didn't insult them with a crazy low price either -- so it seems like it was a win-win. The dealership facilities are very nice as well -- I was able to bring my two younger children and they have a play area for the tikes and free wi-fi for my older son! I was in the market to purchase a pre-owned certified vehicle and had test driven several to narrow down my search according to my budget. There were a few must haves (so I thought); sunroof, rear camera, leather seats and navigation which were non-negotiable. Considering the vehicles in question, I never thought a NEW 2015 was an option; until I engaged in a conversation with my sales agent, Tim, just before throwing in the towel .My test drives and searches was not going so well. Then, I asked him about leasing and he responded with, "What was the first vehicle you had in mind when deciding to buy?" My response, "a Volvo!" And it was at that very moment, when my sales agent informed me that there was a 2015 Volvo S60 T5 AWD minus two of my "must haves" but all of the other amenities and more and within my budget. We bought a 2008 Volvo XC 70 from Suburban Volvo in 2010. I was so impressed with the customer service, that I came back to buy a 2012 XC 70. The transaction was a little difficult since I am a Canadian so there is a border to deal with, Suburban has the knowledge to make it a seamless process. All went well and my car is now a Canadian plated vehicle, shipped Monday and plated Tuesday before 1 PM. Bill Burston is very friendly and professional. He showed us all the little bells and whistles and set up the Sensus for metric as required by Canadian DOT. The service department has been very helpful over the last 4 1/2 years and this is very important since it is an international incident for any problems. I have no problem with the long distance service and relationship, I feel Suburban Volvo is more like a group of friends than a car dealership.

Hands down best car shopping experience ever. This time around I visited many dealerships to compare and look at a variety of vehicles to determine what type of car would be the best fit for me. I actually stumbled on the Volvo lot on my way to another showroom. Several things stood out to me that made the buying experience very pleasant and stress free which ultimately led me to purchase a 2015 Volvo S60! My salesperson, Tiffany Pope, was very knowledgeable and thorough so I understood the benefits of driving a Volvo. After several phone conversations with Tiffany answering all my questions (and I asked a lot of questions) I finally came back to the dealership to take the car for a drive. Immediately I was impressed by the quality on the interior, comfort of the front seats and how well the car handled. Most importantly I never felt pressured by anyone and the entire staff worked together (versus against each other) to make the process go with ease. No haggling on price and the sales manager and finance departments all were helping to make the sale seamless. The best part now is I get to drive around in a really great car! Thank you Tiffany and Suburban Volvo!

Mark is very professional. When I found the paint supposed to be fixed was not done with my new 2014 S60 properly and brought the car back, Mark took care of it right away. When applied the car loan, Lynne Davidson was very supportive to provide all the closure statement. I also like the car itself - 2014/2015 model is very cool - I just have to figure out how to use all the gadget.

I bought an 2008 Town & Country Chrysler van from Bill Burston. They had to repair the A/C but were very accommodating by letting me take A Volvo S60 T5 until the repair was complete. Jhin Hur, my salesman, was very helpful, kept in constant contact until delivery as the car had to have a recall done before it was delivered. In fact, once the car was ready, Suburban actually had the car delivered to our home which was just Great!! I don't know to many dealers that would go that extra step for customer service. Anyone looking for a new Volvo or used car I would recommend to Jhin. It is hard to find good service these days and when you do, you want to pass the word around as well. By far the best dealership experience I've had. No pressure, willing to work with me on different things. I went to test drive a Jeep and I went in being skeptical of dealerships in general, but after about 3 minutes with John Matoin I felt like I was talking to an honest man who was not going to pressure me. I ended up buying the vehicle (Jeep Commander) - everyone was very pleasant and sincere, not phony. Can't recommend John or Suburban Volvo dealership high enough. I drove from the Lansing area (probably nearly two hours) - because of the Commander I found on their website - it was so worth it. Not to mention I drove two hours the previous day in the other direction to see one for sale from a private owner for the same price - the first vehicle we looked at was disgusting - I didn't even want to sit in it - so when I got inside the one at Surburban - it was almost like "are you kidding me?" - for the same price, I was sitting in what seemed like a brand new vehicle. Lastly, when we already agreed on the purchase and the price, John's manager came over and said knock another $250 off because there is a small chip in the windshield and he meant to have it replaced before they sold it --- I almost started laughing, who does that anymore! Good people - very nice to have such an experience!

I was SO impressed with Suburban Volvo!!! I worked with Bill Burston, who could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. I went to casually inquire about a previously owned vehicle on their lot, got a very fair offer on our trade-in, left the dealership with detailed financial information to discuss with my husband that evening, and made the deal the next day - it was a piece of cake and absolutely NO pressure! I'm married and don't like to handle the car decisions (especially by myself), but Bill made things so easy and fun that I was perfectly comfortable moving forward on my own. The dealership coordinated the financing for me, and we got such a phenomenal interest rate through Suburban that we didn't even bother checking rates at our bank or credit union. My wife and I were looking for a replacement vehicle, and we saw a posting for a Volvo SUV that fit our budget & buying criteria. When we walked into Suburban Volvo, Mark greeted us, got the keys for us to take a test drive, pulled the vehicle up front and off we went. When we got back we were already sold, just had to work out the numbers, so we went with Mark to his office to get that done. Mark was very thorough & answered all of our questions, courteous & respectful. We got what we had expected on our trade-in, no real hassle or haggling needed. When we returned for the closing, Mark was also helpful, took the time to go through all the various options, we didn't feel pressured at any time. We very much like the Volvo brand, and with Suburban Volvo being so conveniently located, plus with their friendly staff & great facilities we'll definitely be back next time!

After doing a lot of research, I finally decided on the car I was interested in purchasing. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one within a 500 mile radius of my home so I began looking on-line. Although I found 3 cars that seriously interested me, those transactions failed to result in a sale because either the salesperson didn't return phone calls/follow through or misrepresented the car s/he was selling. By the time I called Suburban, I was very skeptical and about to give up. I had the good fortune of working with Bill Burston at Suburban Volvo, and I actually purchased a car, sight unseen, and had it shipped to me. Bill took the time to answer questions, return phone calls, and everything you might expect a salesperson to do. Bill took care of everything--from the paperwork to arranging cross-country shipping. I believe I got a fair price, even after factoring in the cost of shipping. I was pleased with the process, and the car was everything I expected.

long story short, bought a used car which they claimed had no accident (and an accident didn't look evident) but once i got home i figured out that it had been and they tried to glue the bumper on until i got home and then it would be my problem. I contacted them the next day about the car being stuck in park and they flat out told me that there was nothing they could do because it was a volvo dealership, not a ford. As if this wasn't enough, i just realized that they have not even given me a jack for a flat tire, this is ridiculous... dont buy used from here, you will regret it!!

I knew what I wanted when I got to the dealership. Kelly Ashton greeted us right away and offered help. She was pleasant and willing to move the process faster knowing I had a four week old baby at home ( the reason why I wanted a new, bigger car). The whole buying, test driving, financing, signing process took less than 2hours which I thought was great. They washed and cleaned the car again and even sent me home with full tank of gas. Kelly explained all features of my new ride inside and out and I felt I was ready to face the storm (yes snow storm) with confidence. She did not just send me home when she made a sale, she followed up with me the next day and two weeks after to make sure everything is ok. I really appreciate it all. I love volvos! My family have had them my entire life. Our old dealership closed, so I thought I try Suburban Troy. Big mistake.By far the worst customer service in Southeast Michigan. 80% of sales rep are slow moving slugs who honestly don't know much about Volvos. They are truly "used car salespeople" dressed up like a Volvo family dealership. 1) Very little understanding of Volvo's 2) Unreliable pricing 3) Poor poor customer service

He happened to have one ready in the showroom which was the color and had all the features on it that I definitely wanted. He was very nice and professional in showing me all the features and answering all of my questions in a very pleasant way. He expediously had the papers drawn up and gave me a great deal on the car. I was between car models/makes so did visit Suburban Volvo. All employees were so gracious with their time to inform of Volvo cars, reputation, offers, etc. They all ensured we were being assisted. I did end up staying with American made car this round but right after by purchase, had buyer remorse as Ford dealership is no where near Suburban Volvo customer service!

Being aware of the negative reviews about this dealership, we decided to give it a shot because they had a used car that I was really interested in. Mark N was the guy who helped throughout the process and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. We had an extremely smooth transaction, we were very satisfied with the car and had good customer service all throughout. Went in to look at a vehicle just before closing time at 6, the doors were locked before 6 and I was sent home. Terrible customer service, I was treated like a child and it was clear that Mr. Olsen wanted nothing to do with me. It is evident that he will not work a minute over his scheduled time to help a customer. I will never go back here and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I cannot believe the reviews about this place... Someone must be getting paid for writing good reviews. I dropped my car off the night before my scheduled service appointment. I dropped the keys into their "drop box" thinking how nice it will be to not have to get up early to have my car serviced. After not hearing from the dealer the next day I decided to call them (even though they claimed they would call in the morning with an estimate). Around 3pm I called and they said they didn't know the car was there and that they didn't have keys. When asked why no one thought to call about my scheduled appointment they had nothing to say but a very disingenuous "sorry". Upon picking up the car I was informed that the keys were found lying on the floor near the drop box, which turned out to be a trash can... How appropriate. The second time I stopped by to order a part it took 12 minutes to even get someone to talk to at the parts counter. After a phone call was made to try and find the "parts guy" I was told he was too busy but that if I wanted I could wait in the lounge for someone to talk with me. Seriously? Instead of driving the 3 miles to Suburban Volvo I now drive 15 miles out of my way to a dealership across town to get my car serviced. I will never go back and will warn others of my Suburban experience. So, be warned.

I was looking for a Used car and I wanted to pay cash. Every single dealership refused my offers, they wanted me to finance. When I went to Suburban Volvo, I knew what I was looking for and I was going to do everything I could to finalized the deal. I was first introduced to Tom Young and I explained my situation and that I wanted to finalized the deal today if possible. He was very professional and had years of experience behind him in order to help me with my purchase. I explained what car I was interested in, and we took it for a test drive. It was exactly what I wanted. I sat down with Tom and we went over the numbers, I made an offer just a little less than what was advertised. Tom came back and the offer was accepted, I did have to meet with another rep who tried to see if I would finance but I wouldn't. Tom Young is a great salesman and does look out for his customers. Unfortunate for Suburban that I have to give you my honest opinion, but I strongly believe in strong customer service, and loyalty! The car buying experience for most is not fun, and usually takes more time and its a hassle. The reason Ive been going to Suburban is because I have in the past been treated with love, honesty, and really enjoyed buying my cars. I actually looked forward to it..... Well my guard was down this last time and it started in service, with a huge bill on my current Volvo and nothing but a cold shoulder and a rude remark from the service manager, I think his name was Gary?? I shouldn't have to explain my case and tell him how much money ive spent at the dealer to get a second look, these are expensive cars, and I expect good service!! I was treated so badly I wanted to cry! So I decided at that point to trade my car in and I was sad to see my guy Chris wasn't around to cater to me like he usually would... At this point I could not find a salesperson anywhere, and the manager took over and completely lied to me about everything!!! Awful....... I have never been so disappointed in my life.... What is going on, and what happened to your award winning staff that im used to dealing with???? My suggestion to who ever is running the show stop making a bad name for yourself with poor staff!!! Ive sent so many of my co-workers in and even family to see you guys, and I feel quite bad to tell them that its not the same friendly place!!

Stacy Byrnes was terrific for us. Helped guide us to the right vehicle with zero sales pressure. Mike and Stacy worked together to explain our best bet for financing etc. Final paperwork took far too long, but we were buying and getting the car that day with a trade-in, so it was complicated. The facility is very nice, but underutilized. The is a "cafe" counter(it's labeled) which has no real cafe function, or at least has no one staffing it. This would be a nice touch. My MINI dealer provided some great service lately(on Telegraph) giving me a tour of the facility including the shop. This is an opportunity for Suburban Volvo to up their game. Lastly, we love the XC60 we purchased, though we will be adding the Nav and Backup Cam as accessories. Thanks again to Stacy Byrnes. Highly recommended!

Not only do I think I received a great deal on the car that I purchased, but I enjoyed the experience. Within a week after I purchased the vehicle, I was contacted by Bob to see how I liked the car and if I had any questions. Two weeks later, I called to ask a question, and Bob remembered my name, which wasn't a surprise, but he asked about my wife, by her name. I am in sales, so I appreciate customer service. Mark presented a solid customer service focus, offering great insight, information and answers to all my questions, at the same time offering solid advice when asked. I purchased a vehicle from Suburban Volvo without ever seeing the vehicle in person. On my behalf, a trusted local repair shop asked for the mechanic's reports and other specific items from Suburban Volvo. After receiving and reviewing them, my mechanic gave me a thumbs up to make the purchase. Obviously, Suburban Volvo was cooperative and transparent or I wouldn't have felt comfortable making the purchase. Once the vehicle arrived and was checked over by my mechanic, it was clear that Suburban Volvo did a very thorough and honest job of presenting the vehicle for sale. There were no cosmetic or mechanic surprises to deal with. As with any car that has been driven in the real world, there were a few dings and paint scrapes here and there- but not one of them was ignored or hidden. The car arrived exactly as described. The staff was straightforward and professional, with no pressure to make unwanted purchases of any kind. The extra layer of hassle caused by buying an out-of-state car was taken care of... even the Department of Revenue paperwork was clearly prepped for me to take in for registration. The car was shipped in a timely manner.

I went here to get a used Honda that I found online. It's a great dealer, Mark Naeyaert was a pleasure to deal with. I feel I got a decent price on the car, considering it's a dealer. The whole process was pretty hassle-free and quick, which was great since I can easily get stressed about this sort of thing. We initially came in for service on an older XC70 Volvo, but unfortunately found significant repairs were needed. So we looked at sales and fell in love w/ a 2011 XC90. We chose to take the money we would have spent on keeping the older wagon going and apply it towards the new model.At *every* turn we found Suburban Volvo's service and sales staff exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and supportive as we wrestled with this decision (one doesn't abandon their old XC70 'friend' lightly!). We were offered an excellent price on the XC90 (we did MSRP versus dealer cost price comparisons on-line to confirm), received a good trade-in price, a Volvo loyalty discount, and tremendous help in walking us through the entire purchase process. The sales team simply could not do enough to make this as easy on us as possible. As our family's fourth-time Volvo purchase, this experience was truly the most outstanding and positive of all. Our appreciation goes out to Suburban Volvo for creating a friendly atmosphere that is completely the opposite of the stereotypical high-pressure sales scenarios one hears about. When finished, we felt we were dealing with family and not simply conducting a business transaction.We will certainly be coming back for service on the XC90 and sales for our daughter's Volvo in the future!

Joe was extrememly helpful, from beginning to end. He worked with us to get the car I wanted and was very patient with many visits and calls (including a visit from my dad, who still needs to give his "approval" for any car I purchase, even though I'm 33 years old). The salesman was very friendly and helpful and was knowledgeable about the product he was selling. We did not feel pressured in the least bit. The showroom and car lot was spotlessly clean and modern. Most of the negotiating on the deal was done over the phone and they worked very hard to put the deal together for us before we drove the 220 miles to the dealership. I looked for several months to find this particular model car at a price I could afford and Suburban Volvo beat every other offer by a lot. I definitely will return to Suburban in the future and will recommend them to family and friends.

I wrote a review on this dealership a few days earlier and had included a story of how the car we test drove, and agreed to purchase had different rims then the car we were given. The change was not noticed until I got home from being out of town as my wife picked up the car and did not take note. When I went into the dealership to inquire about the change in rims I was told that this was not the case. I then showed the dealer a photo of the car rims I had taken with my phone on the day of our test drive and they infact commented that those rims are in fact different then the ones we got on our car. There response was that I must have taken a picture of the wrong car. They then offered to take me out onto the lot to look at the car that I may have mixed up with the one that we bought. When we went out to look there were no cars in my make or color on the lot and the dealer seemed puzzled. I did not argue any further with the dealer as he was insistant that changing of the rims was not something that happens. I relayed to the manager that neither the sales person whom we negotiated the sale with nor he were at the dealership the day we picked up the car (a Saturday). It seemed to me as though he did not even bother to talk with the associates that were working on Saturday to see if this may of happened. I was treated as if I was crazy for thinking that this may have occured. I would have assumed that a costumer that has purchased a car previuosly at your dealership, who's family members have purchased a car at your dealership and who brings their car in for service at your dealership would be treated as a valued customer. This was not the case as Suburban Volvo. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone and I myself will be taking my car to Dwyer and Sons in Novi.

Found a used 2009 Pontiac G6 on Craigslist that was listed by Suburban Volvo. Contacted Micah Morley and came out to look at it on 1/11/11. Micah was very pleasant to deal with and even offered me a cup of coffee while we looked over the paperwork. I also noted that the dealership was very clean. We agreed on a price, I left a deposit and was picked up from home by the dealership courtesy van on 1/13/11 to pick up the car. All other employees were courteous and friendly. This is the first time I have ever purchased a used car from a dealership in my thirty four years of owning vehicles. I normally purchase a new car or have purchased from private owners. I would highly recommend Suburban Volvo and there staff.

I am a Canadian resident and was enticed to purchase in the US because of substantially lower prices available in the US--I was nervous about importing a car to Canada though--we Canadians are known for our taxes & bureaucracy and I was skeptical about the hassles of importing a vehicle. Not only was Suburban comfortable with the process, they were kind enough to put me in touch with another Canadian who had recently bought a car from them who was able to put my mind at ease with the process. Mark & the team at Suburban took care of all the paperwork on the US side & had the car ready to export--(complete with front license plate bracket--a requirement in Ontario but not MI) & arranged shipment to Canada. The car is beautiful & the transaction was flawless. I can honestly say the team did everything they said they would do, when they said they would do it and I would definitely recommend purchasing from them.

Looked online and got a response giving me a sales rep. Arrived at dealership met with Micah, explained what I was looking for, showed me what he had on the lot. I took a car for a test drive, made up my list of required items to be done to have me purchase the car. Micah came back with all will be done. We agreed on pricing, I put a deposit on Friday, came back to dealership on Tuesday. The car had all but 2 items done, I paid the balance with confidence that the final items would be completed. The car shipped Thursday as promised, all US / Canadian documentation was correct and we cleared customs very easily (these people know their business). I will be back.

I went in to Suburban Volvo in Troy to purchase a new Volvo. I explained I wanted to pay 100% in cash and picked out a vehicle together with the sales person. I was given an "out the door" price written on a paper with the initials of the sales person. The price was good.A few days later I called to finalize the deal. I was told the specific new Volvo was sold but that another one, identical, same color, options and exactly the same sticker price was available. However, they wanted another $2,500 on top of the price I was given. Unbelievable.You can imagine my frustration, I argued and argued with them. Eventually I ended up speaking with the manager arguing that I had a written note with an offered price. I was told the specific Volvo I looked at was purchased on a special rate, some one-time deal from Volvo.Who would believe this sob story? Its so fishy. I later checked their website and the vehicle I picked still shows as available inventory. I was lied to and they didn't honor the price they gave me. Im surprised you can be treated like this in a business where you as a customer have alternatives. I'm not going back.....

I came in to the Volvo dealership for the sole purpose of comparing the S40 T5 R Design with the Audi A4 and Audi A5 which I had been looking at with the intention of buying. Before that visit, I had never strongly considered driving a Volvo if for no other reason that mere lack of exposure to them. However, after meeting with Michael Path and taking a test drive of the S40, I immediately changed my note. Within a week's time I had decided to purchase the S40, although finding the exact car proved to be a little more daunting. I had a very specific color, trim level and options list I had in mind which resulted in only a few cars in the U.S. matching my list. Michael worked tirelessly to get me the car I wanted, which included even cancelling a previous order we made when I discovered a certain option was not included. In the end, I am now the proud owner of a beautiful new S40 with all the options on it that I wanted. Michael Path has definitely earned by business and my respect for being honest, forthright and customer service orientated. On a side note, this is my second vehicle purchased through the Suburban automotive group (Suburban Hummer). Everything about the transaction went perfectly. The salesman Sam Jamoua was extremely knowledgeable and patient regarding my queries about the vehicles I was considering. The price reached was I believe very fair and the process painless. This is the fourth vehicle that I have acquired from Suburban Volvo, and each of my previous experiences have been just as smooth.

Pam Merrillat was really helpful and kept searching for the vehicle that met our exact criteria. In the end we got just what we wanted. She had a car sent from another state! The finance department was also helpful and was able to negotiate a payment that fit into our budget.

Very friendly and attentive salesperson who followed up promptly. Knowledgeable. Not overbearing. Like idea of free loaner with long maintenance coverage. Nice to be walking distance from other dealerships so we could easily comparison shop. Very sharp car. Would like to have financed thru credit union though.

I cannot say enough good things about Sam and the others at the dealership, including Brian Huck. The moment I walked in the door everyone was extremely nice and professional. Sam was exceptional! It is my personal pleasure to commend Mark Nayert and the Suburban Volvo family for their extrodinary efforts to get me into my "first choice" vehicle, under seemingly insurmountable circumstances. I returned to Suburban after leasing my first S60 from them in 2001. The high caliber service I received at their dealership during that time cemented my relationship with Suburban and compelled me to return when the need (unexpected)arose. Providence has a way of turning an unfortunate event an opportunity for personal growth. Without sounding preachy while describing a used car sales transaction, Mark and I both weathered extreme circumstances during this time, yet we found a way to encourge one another during an extensive negotiation process. Dealership is well laid out, very clean, with an above average interior (it feels like a luxury automobile dealer). Of course I always want a lower price and had I haggled more I probably would have gotten it but I was satisfied with the vehicle I chose and the experience at the dealership. On a side note that Suburban Volvo can't control, I'd be happier of Ford chose to retain Volvo rather than selling the assets to Geely.

We went to the dearlerdhip with a specific model and price in mind and told Sam to contact us as soon as one became available. Within 4 days he contacted us and even allowed us to take the car for a few hours to make sure we were happy with it. Sam also worked with us to get the vehicle to the exact price point we needed. Good thing, we were going to buy a similar Volvo from another dealership that was $900 more, a year older, and had less options because nothing else was available within the time we needed it. Sam came through in the final hour and was able to deliver what we needed and more. Would recommend working with Sam to anyone.

This was a very satisfying buying experience. Bob Cenowa, my salesman, was very courteous and didn't try to high-pressure me. I leased a 2010 XC60 through the Costco auto promotion, so I got a great deal and would highly recommend it to anyone, if it's still in place. The vehicle itself is outstanding in terms of comfort, driveability, utility, and of course safety features. The only small nit I have it that this dealership doesn't provide a computer to each salesperson. They have to share. I prefer to communicate via email, so the fact that my salesman didn't have access to a dedicated computer made email communication difficult. But, all said, I'd buy/lease from Suburban Volvo and Bob Cenowa again and again.

From point of first contact through deal negotiation to delivery of vehicle, these folks were nothing short of top-notch. In my history of purchasing vehicles (12-15 of them), I would rate their level of professionalism as one of the best if not the best. Some highlights:-when i asked about any details, they went out of their way to produce documentation-they let me take as long as i cared to regarding inspecting the vehicle and were only ready to proceed when i indicated i was ready-they had the entire process for out of state purchased well defined and they took the time to walk me through the details-the people (Sam and Brian) were friendly and professionalIf I have the opportunity, I would buy from them again.

Sam has now sold us two cars. He was extremely knowledgable on both the s60 and the new xc90. We are extremely happy with both of our purchases and will strongly consider returning to the dealership when we purchase our next car, and will definitely recommend it to our friends and family.

We found a used car for a great price in July, 2009. Just a month later we were involved in a serious accident and the car was totaled. We were fine but missed the beautiful car we had purchased. We returned to Suburban Volvo and the sales manager found the 'twin' of our vehicle out of state. Sam Jamoua communicated with us every step of the way.We purchased the replacement through Sam. All concerns regarding the vehicles were addressed.We would definitely recommend Sam and Suburban Volve and would return when we again look for another car.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Suburban Volvo-- the entire process was a pleasure. Chris Romanik is a very knowledgable and friendly salesperson that I would highly recommend to anyone. We were treated so well- the manager Angelo Giordimaina is a fantastic person to deal with- he really went above and beyond to make sure we were very happy. Not only did we get a great deal on our new car (with absolutely no pressure), but they took care of our lease turn-in (that was not a Volvo), including detailing and working out scratches on the body that saved us hundreds of dollars. They also detailed our other car, and offered a loaner while they were taking care of the lease vehicle. Truly, this was an unbelievable experience, and I recommend this dealership to anyone who appreciates great service, good deals and respectful people who really care about their customers. We are Suburban Volvo customers for life. Fantastic!

My experience at Suburban Volvo of Troy was a great one. Sam Jamoua, the salesman that I was working with was very helpful, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and was not pushy. You could tell that he was very passionate about his job. I would definitely refer customers to him, personally. I had the opportunity to talk with other personnel at the dealership, all of whom were pleasant but one appeared to be a little "stoic", reserved and not as approachable. In a business that is "customer/people" oriented, I feel that the workers should be more upbeat, friendly, approachable and have a sense of humor.
