I will fully admit this is partially my fault. I vowed over a decade ago to never take a vehicle for repairs to this facility again but circumstances forced my hand. The first incident, took an Explorer in for air conditioner problems. Didn’t even get off the lot and knew it wasn’t fixed. Took it back and now something else is miraculously broken and another $600+ dollars on top of the over $600 I already paid. The same exact thing happened again. It took 5 days to even look at my truck and then replaced a suspect component. It acted the same after I picked it up and 5 days later I was broken down and towed again for the same exact reason. In less than 1 business day at another facility, I had a full diagnosis, pictures and estimate and now my truck runs perfectly. Over $900 in repairs which proved useless and similar amount for a rental car to end up in the same exact situation is not a good deal by any stretch of the imagination. Both scenarios scream several questions. Do you function test your repairs? Are you actually competent? If you have to suggest further evaluation like you did this time after the initial repair, this suggests you’re not sure of what you’re doing. I have called and left messages with both the service rep and service manager with no response, so here we are.

We rented a vehicle and drive over 100 miles to purchase a particular used vehicle (had an appointment) only to be told that the vehicle had been sold to someone else (as we were waiting in the lobby to purchase it)! The sales manager and another sales person attempted to make it up to us by showing us two different vehicles for nearly twice the price! They told us "We're in the business of selling cars"! Really? Well how about customer service? We waited over half an hour to demand a reimbursement for our rental vehicle and gas (recommended by Ford corporate offices) and the sales manager refused and said, "We did not participate in any bad business practice but if you want to believe that you can"! Very poor!

On October 28, 2016 I reached out to this dealership with an interest to buy a used 2012 Ford Fusion. About 5 minutes after sending an email, I received a call from them with regard to the vehicle. I spoke with Phil Tackett. He was professional and enthusiastic about his work. After speaking with him about the vehicle, I came to the dealership the next day to physically look at the vehicle. When I arrived I found that the vehicle has been professionally cleaned, detailed, and made to look like a brand new car. While minor this were found wrong with the vehicle, I found that the vehicle was in stable condition and that any discrepancies such as, some left over sticker foam on the rear bumper, were quickly accounted for and was worked off the price of the vehicle. I left there that day buying a car vehicle that was basically brand new, for less the market value.Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would definitely recommend this dealership to those around me. Not only was my experience good, I also found that they operate pretty efficiently and I managed to get in and out of the dealership in 2.5 hours, less than half the time I've ever had to spend at any other dealership.

Extremely over priced on repairs. Went to jones ford for same service cost was over 30% less. I purchased not only one but three cars within the last 18 months. Can't see doing that again. Talked to Elvis didn't seem to care about my experience after the sale. Bought a car got home oil light came on then after having car less than a year was told by service that I needed a air filter how is that possible after I was told that the car war totally checked out. Elvis said someone would be calling guess what I am still waiting.

Decided it was time for me to buy a newer vehicle so decided to go to Summerville Ford to see what they had on the lot. Found a 2013 Ford Focus I really liked but could only afford it if Elvis the manager could get my payments under $200 a month. I give the man respect for making it happen. They certified the car to make it a Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. When I get home I notice a few things the service department missed on their checklist. First of all the passenger side mirror was cracked. Second there was a small crack in the front windshield. Third the plastic lip on the bottom of the front bumper was cracked and broken. Fourth, the splash/rock shield that protects the bottom of the motor/transmission was completely missing. Fifth, the heat shield for the catalytic converter was ripped and hanging halfway down towards the ground. Over the course of 2 appointments which I had to take time out of my day to attend, these items all were fixed for free. Flash forward about 2 weeks later the notorotious Focus DCT Transmission starts to shudder and slip in 1st-3rd gear. I take it to them and they kept it for 2 days and told me it passed Ford specs and the shudder was normal. I found this hard to believe so I decided to get a 2nd opinion and took the car to Jones Ford on Rivers Avenue. Jones Ford calls me back the next day and sure enough they said the clutch needed to be replaced and it was 100% covered under warranty. They also mentioned while inspecting the vehicle the found the rear main seal was leaking oil. Went ahead and had them replace that as well since my warranty is only a $100 deductible. I had just bought the car from Summerville Ford 2 months prior and they did their "CPO Checklist" and didn't see the oil leak, let alone all the other cosmetic crap I had to return to get fixed. This tells me one of two things: Fords mechanics are so terrible to hey didn't catch any of this stuff or they were too lazy and didn't want to do the warranty work.Bottom line is DO NOT buy your car or have it serviced at Summerville Ford...save yourself the time and hassle and just go to Jones Ford where they will treat you right and not lie to you.

The wait is very long for just an oil change, up to 2 hours regardless if you are first in line or 5th in line. This is the second time I've had to seek a service advisor to check on the status of my car, only to find out its been done and sitting on the side of the building for 15+ minutes.

I was looking for a new F150 with a specific color combination and set of options. Summerville Ford didn't have the exact truck, but was able to search the regional area and bring the truck to me. Phil made the car buying experience very pleasant. I felt no high pressure, he showed us cars that we were definitely interested in, and once selection made, he answered all questions knowledgeably. I would also like to point out that Wayne Hough was also extremely helpful with advice. Everything was clean, including the bathroom, and the coffee was plentiful and delicious. Overall, I found it to be a very pleasant buying experience.

I went to Summerville Ford to check out the dealership. Very nice place. As I was leaving the front entrance I saw this 2014 Ford Explorer. So I checked it out. It had everything I wanted and more. It had been leased. So I talked to Phil, one of the salesman about buying it. Went back The next day and bought it. Phil was a very good salesman. No pressure from him. He was able to give good answers to all my questions. He went the extra mile to make sure I was a happy customer, And I was. He was very friendly, and knew what he was talking about. My husband and I stopped by the Summerville Ford dealership to look at Ford Expeditions. We told the sales rep; Dontrelle; that we are just looking for fun. Dontrelle accepted this and at no time did he push us to buy. He took a great deal of this time showing us different vehicles, taking us for a test drive and listening to our wants and concerns with vehicles. Even as we were walking away to leave, Dontrelle never pushed us or made us feel pressured to buy. He respected our decision at the time. My husband and I didn't even make it to our car before turning around and going back in to talk to Dontrelle again about a specific Expedition Limited we saw. We decided to move forward with the purchase while working with the finance dept, manager and Dontrelle to trade in my SUV and leave with payments that we felt good about. We were so impressed with the entire staff at Summerville ford from the receptionist, sales reps, financial dept and manager. I am in love with my new Ford Expedition. Brought the F150 in to the service center to have the passenger door repaired. It would not open from the outside. Called on Monday to set up and appointment I was told I didn't need one just come on in. Wednesday morning 8:15-8:30 we arrived the service area was nice clean but not well maned. When asked what I needed I told the man about the door he said we needed and appointment, when he was told that we had call to set one up and they said we didn't need it he wasn't to happy. He started working with someone else so I sept aside waiting for my turn. A lady came out the back asked who was next the other two people said I was when I told her I had spoken to the other man she said I had to wait for him he hadn't started any thing in regards to my truck, so I waited. When he got to me he said it would cost $179.00 to fix. Ok I need the truck for work go head fix it. He said it would be just a few hours. 9 hours later I had to call them, I was told I'll have to check what's going on 30 minute later they call back to say that the guys are looking in their tool boxes to see if they had the clip that will fix it but I could come on to pick it up. When I get there they are still working on it and the price would be $122 and change. Well it is fixed. You can bet that if I have to take the truck back again I will insist that I have an appointment. And that they will have help that understands first come first serve?

I RECEIVED AN OIL CHANGE ON MY 2012 FORD FOCUS AT SUMMERVILLE FORD ON 06/03/2016. THE STAFF WAS FANTASTIC AND WAS DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER. I SPOKE WITH THE CLERK ABOUT A NOTIFICATION I HAD RECEIVED REGARDING AN EXTENDED WARRANTY ON MY TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE. SHE ADVISED ME THAT IF ANYTHING HAPPENED I WOULD BE ABLE TO BRING IT IN AND GET IT REPLACED. TWO DAYS LATER, THE MODULE WENT OUT AND I WAS UNABLE TO DRIVE MY CAR. I CALLED TUESDAY MORNING AND EXPLAINED MY SITUATION AND THAT I WAS UNABLE TO BE THERE IN PERSON DUE TO WORK. THEY ALLOWED ME TO HAVE MY CAR TOWED IN AND CALLED ME EVERY STEP OF THE WAY TO KEEP ME UPDATED. AFTER I GOT OFF WORK, I WAS DROPPED OFF AT SUMMERVILLE FORD AND THEY EXPLAINED THAT IT WAS REPLACED FREE OF CHARGE AND THAT A COMPLIMENTARY DIAGNOSTIC AND DRIVE TEST WAS COMPLETED. This has got to be the worst Ford dealer in the area, i wish i could have given below a 1 star rating!! I purchased a 2011 Ford Escape from this place back in 2013 with the Extended Service Plan. The first time this vehicle came into the shop in July of 2013 with 20,000 miles the transmission was shifting very badly. It took them over 3 days to tell me they couldn't reproduce the error. I took it home about a month later i had to bring it back because it got much worst. This time they told me that the transmission needed to reprogrammed. Fast forward this went on for about a year. I eventually just gave up on them fixing it because each time i had to bring it in, i had to pay them $100 to work on the car. They provided me a rental when the car went in but I couldn't tell you how many times i kept getting charged by the rental car company for something FORD was supposed to pay for. The service department here SUCKS!!!! I eventually brought the car in for routine maintenance at 30,000 miles. I asked for them to do a run through of the car and let me know if anything was crucial. I never got a call from them for about 3 days, I had to call them only to find out they forgot to call me and my had had been finished a whole day prior. I also found out they performed work on the car I did not authorize. When I asked about this, they could not find the service agent that took my car in and just shrugged their shoulders.Each time I went in would verify the phone number they had and they said it was right. However, anytime the vehicle went in I had to call them to get a status and then found out it was ready for pick up. I also noticed when you take the vehicle to them there had a inspection form they attached to my bill talking about the tire and breaks, NONE OF THEM WERE EVER FILLED OUT!!! Whats the point of giving that to the customer if it doesn't let them know the status of their cars care. Another time I went in to pick up the car after an oil change and a service on the transmission, when I went to go check out, i was told i would have my service documentation mailed to me because they couldn't find the service agent to fill out the rest. So i basically just paid for something i had no idea what took place on the car.Fast forward to today 6/2/2016 - I traded my Escape in on a new car back in April 2016. I took all the required paperwork to the dealer to cancel my GAP and Extended Service Plan. When I got there the Receptionist Charlotte, didnt know who I was supposed to talk to. It took her almost 30 minutes to find out who I needed to talk to. When I did eventually get to talk to someone, he was a finance guy that worked in the right side of the dealership last office closest to the door, he couldn't find the cancellation forms. His desk was an absolute mess, had other people's SSN's, and personal information just out in the open for anyone that sat down could see it. He was completely disorganized. This of course made me nervous being I was about to turn in documentation to get a refund for both the GAP and ESP.I filled out the GAP cancellation form and asked him what I had to do for the ESP, he advised me just the GAP cancellation form was all I needed. I then gave him the proof that I traded the Escape in and never got that form back, be only gave me a copy of the GAP cancellation form.Here we are now June 2,2016. I called the GAP cancellation place to find out the status of it. They advised me they never received the form for my cancellation and it was still active. I then asked about the ESP, they told me, it wasn't through them but through the dealership.I called the dealership to talk to someone about why things were never done. Once again Charlotte answered the phone. Said I needed to talk to someone, I asked who and she just transfered me without giving me the name. I left a voice mail for someone by the last name of Mannie. I called back to get the name of the manager of the dealership when Charlotte said i needed to talk to someone else and BAM transfered me again without telling me who I needed to talk to.I called back AGAIN!!! this time a guy answered and oddly enough i explained the issue and i could hear Charlotte in the back ground tell him to transfer me to another extension I had to leave another voice mail on. She is completely unprofessional and doesn't know her job.If i ever provided customer service like that to someone, I would be written up!I kept asking the whole time for a number for me to call Ford corp, because I wanted to lodge a complaint against them. She never provided one.I went on line and got the number myself. I called and complained about them and then explained why my call even started this morning. I actually got help from the corporate office. They explained to me all the the things I would need to do in order to get a refund of my ESP and GAP. Something they said the dealership would have known as well. I still have to resubmit all my paperwork for all of the this stuff again just to get MONEY I AM DUE!!I work at a local college here in the area, I am posting this to all of our on line and physical boards letting people know to stay away from this place!! I know at least several people who were looking for car in the last month and they went to other places. DO NOT go here, You will not want the headaches that come with the vehicle. You will have better luck with one of the other Ford dealers in the area.

I scheduled a service appointment for my son's 2004 Honda Civic five days ago through the service phone number on your website. I gave the person who answered all my contact information as well as the information for the vehicle. They scheduled my appointment for today at 4:30pm. I called the same number earlier today to verify my appointment as well as to see if I could bring the car in early. I was informed that 4:30 was the only time slot available and they asked if I wanted to keep it to which I replied "yes." Went to drop my car off and after a couple of minutes of standing in the service office Mary greeted us and asked what she could do for us. I said I was there for a 4:30 appointment for my son's car. She asked for my name and then went on to tell us that your dealership only works on other makes and models if the car was sold from your dealership. I told her that when I made my appointment I informed them that the car was a Honda Civic (which they assured me they would look at). She said the call center that your dealership uses is out of state and you're trying to get rid of it. Mary also said that most of the technicians were about to leave anyway. I am baffled by this since your service writer should've had my name and phone number along with the make and model of my vehicle at their disposal. Why couldn't someone call to tell me this? I could've scheduled with another dealership and not wasted time and money making an unnecessary trip there. Your entire system is broken and to put blame on an out of state phone system is poor management and bad customer service.

2007 F-150 Stock Service, okay......Helpful, okay To tell you the truth, what grinds my grits is, when you meet your salesman and if he thinks you may not buy, he,then leaves you and brings back some other person to tell you why you need to buy a car/truck!!! After that salesman leaves some other salesman gets involved!! Last but not the least, a finance person come into the sales talk. The original salesman never saw me again until the purchase was finalized, 2 hours later.

Ford has block on their bill stating (SHOP Supplies)can equal up to 13% of the total cost of the labor and parts...An oil change should have everything included in the price, including the Shop Supplies..$14.25-Labor..$5.95-Filter..$27.65-Oil = $47.85..Why did Summ. Ford add another $16.22 for Shop Supplies?? If you went to a restaurant and paid for a meal and drink, that usually includes the use of a fork and knife, napkins, salt and pepper...No extra supply charges are added... .......The Works Rebate, I was told by Summ. Ford I had to apply for it on line...This rebate should be applied automatically to the billing when a Ford dealership uses a Ford manufacturer's advertisement coupon, The Works..This would save a lot of time, paperwork, less hassle and most of all satisfy the customer..Thank You

I must say that my experience with Summerville Ford was GREAT! I called Summerville Ford inquiring on a Nissan Maxima and spoke to Sal Rigoroso. I went to test drive the Nissan Maxima when I got off of work and did like the way that it drive.. I was up front with Sal, because I was in a car accident and my car was totaled so I was still working with my insurance adjuster to be able to have a down payment. His statement to me was how about if I can get you in this car without a down payment? My response was let's do it. Well he did stand behind his word I was approved with no down payment and was a quick process. I worked with finance manager Manny he was excellent and friendly as well. My overall experience was GREAT. Summerville Ford treated me like family and I would refer anyone there for great customer service and prices.

I purchased a 2013 Nissan Maxima. I called first to inquire on the vehicle as well as price, the salesman that I spoke to was Sal Rigoroso. I decided to take a visit with no intentions of purchasing a vehicle just to weigh out my options after visiting 3 dealerships. As soon as I arrived at Summerville Ford, Sal met me to the front and we test drove the Nissan. I did like the way that it drove and was up front with Sal stating that I just got my car totaled about a week ago and I'm waiting on a response from my adjuster before I'm able to place a down payment on the Nissan. His response to me was what if I can get you into this car without placing any money down. I'm like okay let's try and see. It was about 30 minutes after completing my paperwork that he worked out a deal to where I didn't have to put any money down. I was lost for words due to happiness. I wasn't really looking for a high car payment because my car that was totaled was paid for but he made it manageable..but when I was just closing with the finance gentleman Manny, he adjusted my payments to even lower than what I was offered. I must say that this visit was AMAZING and I recommend anyone to Summerville Ford. They treat you like family and the wait is not long.

The amount of time you have to wait is ridiculous. the 1st day I went with my son, I was there over 6.5 hours and the 2nd day I went with my husband, I was there over 5 hours. I know there is paperwork involved and approval has to be received but the wait time would be the one thing that would have me not refer anyone. bought a 2015 Expedition 4WD King Ranch. I love the vehicle and your Dealership and employees. I do want to recommend something that would make customers like myself very happy. I was a Fleet Manager for the Federal Government for over 30 years and have since retired. In our maintenance facility we had a couple of Quick Service Preventive Maintenance (PM) Oil Change/Lube bays. A preventive maintenance should not take 1 - 1 1/2 hrs to complete. I had an appt.,, arrived on time, but it still took over 1 hr.I think if you had bays just for PMs, it would improve your service and customer satisfaction would be enhanced. Thank you for asking.

We could take our car closer to have regular maintenance or service, bc we live downtown and the dealership is in North Charleston, but it is worth the drive. There just seems to be a bit of a disconnect in the service department as far as finding someone who knows what is going on with your particular car. I got a new f-150, 6 months later the turbo line broke.Had to leave my truck at the dealership for a month.When I got my truck back it was not running right. It took almost 30 minutes for a salesman to meet us. Not really bad because I was able to look around. The salesman was great. I enjoyed working with him (ThomasB). The car could have been detailed much better. It had cobwebs in the door jam still and dust inside. THoma did try to get that taken car of but there wasn't someone available and I had to go as we were there for a few hours. He did offer to have it cleaned up when I come back to get my check once the bank deposits the payment for the ford fusion.

I left work late around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday night and got to my car with a dead battery. Luckily a coworker was able to jump my car for me and my husband called Summerville Ford and said I was on my way. They said if I made it by 5:20 they could change the battery for me on the spot. I was 5 minutes late but they still managed to give me a new battery and out the door a little after 6. I'm so grateful because I can't have an unreliable car driving on 526 in the dark. I came in to your service department on a Monday and was told by a service representative that they were short several mechanics and they could not work on my car. I told him I would bring it back on Thursday and if I could make an appointment. He indicated that would be okay and to bring it in at 8:30 am. On Thursday I brought the car in at 8:30 and it still had not been looked at by 11:15 am. I then asked the service rep. since I had an appointment why had it still not been looked at after almost 3 hrs. He told me they did not make appointments and it was a first come first serve basis. Better communication would certainly be helpful. I did not get a ride home until after 12:00 pm. At 1:30 I was called; found out the problem and I authorized them to repair the car and replace all four tires. Your driver was unable to locate my house to pick me up so I had to wait until the next day to get my car. I was satisfied with the repairs but not how long it took to have the car looked at. Either your service department accepts appointments or not. This needs to be decided and all service reps informed. I had a water pump, serpentine belt, and four tires replaced, a wheel alignment, and the cooling system flushed. Summerville Ford is the only place my car has ever been repaired at.

The staff was friendly and helpful. After about a week from having my vehicle serviced, my tire low pressure light came on. I checked the tires to see if I had a puncture or leak. The good thing was that I didn't have a leak or puncture, but the tire pressure on the tires were very low. How can that be when my vehicle has been serviced a week prior? Isn't checking tire pressure a part of the servicing requirement?

Summerville Ford is a great place. I bought my wife a brand new car for Mother's Day it was 2014 Ford Focus. We have two little girls so we needed something bigger. We went back to Summerville ford since they took such good care of us. We talked to sal once again because he took such good care of us. They understood the issue I have been having and the extreme time constraints I was under and took me right in the day after you opened back up from being closed due to the weather! I was very happy with the outcome and the speed of which both Joe and "T" worked together to make a bad situation better for me in an expedited manner! I went in to purchase oil for my 13 F150, the total cost of the oil was $43. On my way out I chatted with Amy (Service advisor) and she mentioned for only only a few more dollars they could change my oil for me saving me the hassle. She was very helpful in setting me up and asked me to come by the next day to get it done. In addition, I just drove cross country from Seattle to SC and I mentioned to Amy white opaque smoke coming from the dash halfway into the 3000 mile road trip. She immediately recognized the problem and gave me very useful tips on fixing the issue. She was very professional, knowledgeable, kind and a great conversation as well. This is my first Ford dealership I visited since moving to Charleston, I definitely will be returning !

Just bought a 2013 Ford Fusion. I found it online and unlike other dealerships I went to, they had the exact car for me to test drive that I saw on their website. The paperwork went fast but they only had one finance officer working so I waited about 3 hours for that part even though I came in pre-approved. I worked with Kareem and he was great! He even hung around well past his shift to give me the keys. I would definitely recommend Summerville Ford, and make sure to ask for Kareem!

I purchased a 2015 Ford Edge. In the first week, I noticed a gap on the driver's side of the defrost panel. I brought the vehicle in to the service department and was told the repair would be covered by the warrenty. 3 pictures were taken for submission to get approval of the warrenty work. I was informed " I will let you know when we hear back." I waited a week and went back to check on the progress--since the original person that took the pictures happened to be at lunch, I asked another rep to check on the status the repair request. She checked the computer and found "no work order submitted". She said she couldn't do anything since she did not have the pictures. She stated she or the other rep would call me with an update that after noon. No call-- I went BACK the following week-Sue was there. She checked on the work order--still nothing submitted! Sue took the pictures-at least 5 or 6 and created a request as well as submitting the pictures. I heard from Sue the next day, saying that the warrenty work was approved and the part would be ordered. She would let me know when that part comes in. Several days later, Sue called and we set up the repair appointment which was last Thuhrsday. Within ONE WEEK, Sue handled and close the warrenty work. I wish all of your staff was this effecient! She is very caring and follows up as promised. I will always, going forward, ask for Ms. Sue! I also would like to THANK Thomas and Elvis for approving a one day rental car for me while my new car was being serviced. I got the rental around 10:30 and returned it to Summerville Ford around 4:30. I put a little over 100 miles on it and replaced the gas I used (gas gauge stated at 3/4 tank and I replaced the gas back to a little over 3/4 of a tank). I say all this because of the call I received from Enterprise the next morning. Enterprise Rental called stating they had recieved and inspected the rental. It looked A-OK except they needed to add gas to the tank as it was at 1/4 of a tank. They would be charging my credit card for the fill up back to 3/4 that would be arond $20. I immediately said " oh heck no--I replaced the gas I used and put around 100 miles. I was getting 28.9 miles per gallon of gas on the car before I returned the rental to Summerville Ford." He said that he thought somethiong was odd-cause the rental had over 600 miles on it. He said he would call Summerville Ford to see what happened and would credit my card back the charge or the gas they refilled the rental with. To that end, I do not know who or how all those miles were put on the rental after I dropped it of. I do not know the procedure of keeping the rental keys in a safe place, but I would suggest they be locked in a safe place to prevent someone taking a rental in someone elses name for a 5oo mile joy ride.

I was surprised and disappointed to learn that there is no record of the amount of the balance. I am sure it was not a great deal of money, but every bit helps. With a daughter in serious condition at Summerville Med ctr, time was important. I made an appointment for my first oil change (complimenry) on my new Fusion on the internet. Received confirmation for 10 am Tuesday, but when I arrived was told they don't accept appointments for oil changes and it will be about two and a half hours. She was fairly rude at that. I went to Wal-Mart, paid for my own oil change, and was done in 20 minutes.

Had my 2011 F-150 serviced "The Works". Service was performed very fast, less than 1/2 hour. Did not receive the multi-point inspection sheet. Spare tire was not checked. I have not received any promotions, rebates or owner advantage rewards, I was told you no longer honor these. Did not recognize any of the service people, they all quit? The reason I marked the facilities so low was: no soap in men's room, break room had no cups for water or coffee.

I have found after being promised in the General manager that we will get fob keys and mats as the car that we bought from them was supposed to have them, he told my husband that he doesn't recall ever talking to us about it. Also the service people to me have been a bit rude, except Sue. They will do anything to get you to sign on the dotted line but after that you are pretty much on your own. The front right running light never worked when we bought the car a week ago. They were trying to get out of repairing that too! If it wasn't for William Mathias, we would never have bought that car. He was very honest and very knowledgable and helped us in any way a sales person should be! It is very unfortunate he is no longer there. I will make sure after they fix the light we never go back there and I will NOT reccomond them to anyone! Very poor customer relations! I will also let Ford corporate know too. One used to trust people especially with their word and it meant something. Sadly, not them either!

Purchased a 2015 mustang. Although the time it took for an oil change was very long, I did come on a busy day. Maybe making appointments for this would help instead of this service offered without an appointment. If everyone comes at once, there is no way to get it done in a timely fashion and the customer suffers. Thankfully I was able to leave my car, but that is not always the case. Everyone there was friendly, though, and I will come back. I am a longtime customer of Summerville Ford.

Overall the experience was good. Because the car needed to be ordered I had to wait which was expected but I was told several times of the expected delivery date to the dealership which were missed because of the transportation truck. The person in finance was very helpful and we worked together to ensure I got what I needed at the best rate. I was told that the car had a 6 month trial for Sirus radio but I am still unable to get that working.

Had to have my Ford Expedition's 15000 mile service. Setting up appointment online was simple. Response was quick. On day of service, drop off was effortless, waiting room was clean and bright, and length of time for service was maybe an hour. The service adviser escorted me to the cashier while explaining what had been done to my car. The cashier was quick too. Overall a very good experience.

I realize that there are people in front of me (three in this case), so I need to wait my turn. But two hours seems a bit excessive for oil changes. While I think everyone can agree that car buying is never really a "fun" experience, I found my time with Summerville Ford to be FANTASTIC compared to the other dealerships I have encountered. The reason car buying isn't fun, is because there are two parties who are both looking for a deal and there has to be a compromise somewhere in-between. Most often, the buyer thinks they are going to talk a dealer down to 50% of list price ... wrong attitude to start with... Additionally, the usual car sales person wants to make it a dramatic process to confuse and disorient you. The difference is that Elvis made this experience great by being straightforward and honest through ever step of the way. He didn't use the typical tactics that other folks will try - the "gotcha" with a car that is outside your budget, the reverse psychology, and the endless back and forth with "the guy who makes the call" - none of that. Elvis took me right to the cars in my price point, asked me what I was looking for, and took me out for a spin. He was incredibly respectful and made the process transparent. He stuck around and was able to get me a GREAT deal on a car that fit what I was looking for. People tend to want what they can't have and get very upset over the price differential - I think if you're honest with yourself up front about what you can actually afford and what kind of cuts a dealership will and can actually take, you'll find it to be more enjoyable. The back of house staff were very kind, especially Eugene in Finance. People were polite and even gracious enough to let our four-legged friend join in the process for paperwork and the final test drive. I'm looking forward to coming back and updating as my relationship with Summerville Ford continues. My husband is the type of person that buys a new car every 1.5 -2 yrs. With that being said we have bought ALOT of cars and dealt with a lot of dealerships/salesmen! Summerville Ford by far was the best over all sales experience we have ever had. Management was super friendly. Finance was the smoothest I have ever seen it and Sal, well he was GREAT! He took his time to work with me over the phone, sending me information and once we arrived to the dealership he showed me what they had on site and advised me they could also have something brought in (we were kinda picky). We looked at somewhat standard models and the fully loaded version. Not once did he try to push the more expensive vehicle on us. He let us decide. of course loaded was the only way to go! lol I felt as if he went above and beyond to make us comfortable (we had 2 children with us) but I got the feeling that is just who he is! That is the way he treats all of his customers. Not only would I recommend him to friends & family, he will be my go to guy in the future!!

We recently moved to Summerville for a job transfer. To say that our luck has been bad would be an understatement. We found ourselves in a position where we had to purchase a car, but our credit is less than stellar. The brakes went out on our only vehicle so we decided to email a number of Internet sales associates to see who would be able and willing to deal with us and work hard to find us a decent, safe car at the best possible terms. Sal Rigorosa from Summerville Ford responded immediately and sent a few emails with complete information and listings of available vehicles. We waited a day to see who else would respond and then decided to call Sal. He sent a driver to pick us up since our only vehicle was being serviced. Within 3-4 hrs. Sal had worked out a deal on a Brand New Ford Escape (with all the safety features, most of the convenience features , and many of the upgrades we had on our "perfect car" wish list). Sal allowed us to test drive the car on our own, off the lot, while he got us 2.9% financing through Ford Motor Credit! We were in and out of financing, where everything was explained and shown to us thoroughly, and on our way home with our brand new Escape in about 4 hours. Sal went over the whole vehicle with my fiance and explained how everything worked. He syncd my phone to the radio and explained the process for getting our tags when they arrive. He was kind and professional, understanding of our situation and mostly concerned with getting us a good, safe vehicle at the best possible terms. His goal is to have customers who will choose to come back to him time after time because they were treated fairly and courteously. I wasn't sure I'd find a car salesman that I could trust to have our interests in mind, while making a fair business deal. I believe Sal did just that, and we would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a car. We had been to other dealerships, and spoken with a number of salespeople, and Sal was everything you could ask for in a salesperson. Definitely call him for your next car. We will!

Purchasing a vehicle here is fine and quick. The problem with Summerville Ford is their service department. They do not communicate safety issues to their salesmen (per Sal Rigoroso personally). So, unless you want to possibly be injured driving a recalled Ford that should have been fixed prior to putting the vehicle up for sale, do NOT buy from this dealership. There is documented proof that notice of a safety issue was sent to all dealerships from Ford directly, but they'll still sell the vehicle to you in order to make a buck.

My wife and I were recently car shopping and went to Summerville Ford to look at Escapes. To make a long story short we ran into the following things at the dealership that would cause me to never recommend them to anyone: 1. We agreed upon a vehicle that was a dealership transfer. Prior to the paperwork being completed we were told the vehicle was no longer available. 2. We agreed upon another vehicle that was a dealership transfer. Once the paperwork was completed we were told our down payment check would not be cashed until we took possession of the vehicle. The dealership did not provided copies of the signed paperwork and said they would give us copies of everything when the deal was completed. Our down payment check was cashed, the vehicle turned out to also be unavailable and we later learned that the paperwork was not available. 3. Upon requesting a refund of our down payment, we were told by the dealership owner that refunds could not be given on the weekend. With much headache we finally were given our refund and took our business elsewhere.

Nervousness because I do not like the aggressive and the hounding personalities of sales people and dread because I get sick to my stomach with the thought of even pulling into a car lot. The search for my dream car stopped when I visited Summerville Ford. I found the car through TrueCar.com and it was ranked as a "GREAT" price and located at Summerville Ford. I requested more info on the car and Brian Smith, the internet sales manager called immediately. I went into the dealership for a test drive and knew it was the one. Since this was the first car I had purchased on my own, Brian offered to drive it to make sure everything felt normal before I signed the papers. Gene, the Director of Financing was great to work with too. He is a retired Judge so his nickname around the dealership is "The Judge". His expertise was helpful when making the financing decisions. I went into Summerville Ford today with the intention of getting my remote start kit enabled. I asked the service department how much this would cost, as I had already installed the kit and just needed them to program the keys and enable it in the system with IDS (Ford's electronic vehicle tool). All said and done its a 15-20 minute job. She said it would be $150. I then mentioned that on the Ford accessories website they listed a $67.50 install price to put in the entire system. She said - I dont know about the website, the best I can do is $95. Not honoring the listed price is down right deceitful and disrespectful. You can be sure I wont be bringing my business here. After researching and finding the truck we wanted at Summerville Ford, we had a good experience in making our purchase. Sal, the salesman, was very helpful and well-informed. After we drove close to 4 hours to get there, he had the truck washed, fueled and ready for a test drive and had already begun the paperwork. For the last 4 yrs I have been driving my daughter-in-law's Ford Focus purchased at Summerville Ford. Why not check their inventory? Well, Summerville Ford had the Escape in sunset with stone interior, and it was in my price range. I emailed the online address to receive a response within an hour from Sal Rigoroso. After a couple of emails back & forth, I was on my way to Summerville to drive this vehicle. I was greeted warmly by Sal and was truly impressed with his knowledge of the product but most of all his honesty and no pressure tactics. The buying process was very easy. He sat in the vehicle with me to explain equipment, even minor details many sales people might miss or think are not important. In the 3 weeks, Sal has emailed numerous times to see if I had questions or concerns. I can't speak highly enough about Sal's interest in his clients. He's not going to tell you the dealership needs to meet their goal or any of the hokie stories you hear from most sales staff. Sal is a straight shooter. I had the best overall experience at this dealership. The moment I walked on the lot I was never hassled or bothered about what I was doing. I looked at a few trucks before I found two that I was interested in, the variety of different vehicles was great! A sales rep approached me and asked if I wanted to test drive some vehicles. Upon arrival I was greeted by Crystal who is very friendly and knowledgeable on vehicles on the lot. There was no pressure to buy and she walked with me as I looked at all the different models available. Well I saw this great GT/CS and said I need to drive this. I drove the care and immediately fell in love with it. Unfortunately due to my negative equity in the vehicle I was driving we could not come to an agreement on the price. Then it was mentioned to me that there was a new GT still being prepared for the lot. So, I figured give it a shot and when I saw it I was set back as it had everything I was looking for without the step up price. I was able to work with Crystal and the Summerville Ford team to become a owner of a new 2013 GT Mustang. Thanks

When coming to this dealership, I visited several times and test drove numerous cars. The car I was in wasn't suiting my traveling needs. The salesman was very patient with me, as they were aware that I had a poor experience with my last purchase of a Corvette from another dealership. I was searching the market for many weeks looking for a certain vehicle in a particular color. I saw there was a car listed in the paper for an amazing price. At first, I thought the price was too high because it was a 2004 model. Then I went online to take a closer look at it and it seems to be exactly what I was looking for. I didn't have a lot of money to put down and my credit was not perfect. So I took a chance and applied online anyway knowing that I would just be turned down again. But I was wrong. I received an email and a phone call from Sal Rigoroso just as I was on my way to another dealership to look at one of there vehicles. Sal told me to come look at the vehicle and test drive it. I could not believe the condition the vehicle was in. I looked as though it just arrived off the showroom floor. The vehicle was in better condition than I expected, and to top that, Sal Rigoroso told me that I was already approved and the paperwork just has to be completed and signed. Mr. Rigoroso was so kind and friendly. He made my whole car buying experience so easy and stress free. The pricing of the vehicle was better than I expected given the immaculate condition of the vehicle. Mr. Sal Rigoroso made the paperwork process quick and easy. He made sure I was comfortable with my buying process and explained everything. Mr. Rigoroso was and excellent salesman. I could not have asked for better. I went in to Summerville Ford after seeing an Ad in Craigslist for a truck I was looking for. I emailed Sal Rigoroso regarding availablity of the truck, as the price and pictures were almost too good to be true. The truck had so much more to offer, and was like it was just coming out of the showroom with a "new car" smell still for a 3 year old vehicle. I found the vehicle I wanted. There was no pressure, Sal was more concerned with me getting what "I wanted" instead of forcing other models my way. Buying process was quick, Summerville Ford took care of all the paperwork. I would have rated overall experience at "Great" if it wasnt' for what I consider to be high (but still reasonable) "processing fees". However, these fees were explained to me in advance, and still were almost 1/2 of what other dealers were charging. This buying experience allowed me to think outside the box again and not just look at CARMAX and other "no haggling" experiences I have had in the past. Thanks Sal and Summerville Ford. I look forward to enjoying my "new" vehicle. Great vehicle, great price, and no haggling and pressure. That is TOPS for me~!

I drove to Summerville Ford after looking online at a Ford Fusion. Mind you I had a Toyota Sequoia that I loved dearly but no longer trusted for long hauls. I thought I would go to the Ford Dealership just to look. Before I got there I got a text from a Sal Rigoroso. good presentation, great personality, knows the product in and out. I looked at the Ford Fusion -- beautiful car -- but I realized I was not ready for a sedan. Then I saw the Explorer -- wow! what a great looking vehicle. So I asked to drive it. I loved it. It holds the road well, has great turning radius, and rates the best in safety categories. One issue -- I take my dogs traveling and that includes a large Chesapeake Retriever. So I needed the second row to be a bench seat so that I could fold it up and have good floor space for the dogs. Sal found the perfect fit for me -- it had just arrived on the truck. He went out of his way to make sure I got the car of my dreams and gave me the best price! No hassle, no fuss, just aims to please! The rest of my visit with Ford went just as smooth. I have had many vehicles and Sal and Summrville Ford will be my go to place in the future.

He said at the beginning of our meeting that Ford was like family, and I believe him. I am now the proud owned of a used mustang that gets tons of attention. I've given Summerville Ford and especially my salesman, Sal Rigoroso, and excellent review because, simply put, this was the most pleasant auto purchase experience I've ever had. My husband and I have credit problems due to the economy and have since changed careers but we haven't had the opportunity to repair the damage done. I've had salesman in the past treat me as if they were doing me a favor by taking the time to work with me. They know beggars can't be choosers. However, Sal was not only friendly and honest, most of all, we were treated with respect. He completely exceeded our expectations by not only getting us financed into something that would do for now, he got us into the exact vehicle we wanted. Two hours after walking in we drove home in a 2013 F-150 with an APR of 3.9%. I was so grateful I wanted to kiss his feet! He was definitely the hero of the day, and he knew it, but he didn't want any feet kissing. That was the coolest thing, he was just happy to help by doing his job. Sal Rigoroso, Summerville Ford and Ford Motor Credit so exceeded my expectations they've earned a customer for life. Also, the finance manager, Addie Mack, was just as friendly and it was a pleasure working with him. My daughter totaled my truck and I needed transportation. After searching net for weeks saw an add from Sal at Summerville Ford. I work between 60 and 70 hours a week Sal helped by texting and messaging to get deal set up. Drove down after work on a Saturday and left dealer in under an hour. Sal is the man. Truck was cleaned and parked out front ready to go with full tank of gas. I thought dealers stopped the fill up years ago. WTG Sal. Only problem is google maps sent me to wrong address. I recently purchased a used vehicle from Summerville Ford. I had reviewed the desired vehicle on the dealerships web site and knew what I was looking for prior to my arrival. The vehicle was in very good condition and matched the description I had reviewed. My trade in vehicle was not in very good shape at all. However, I received a more than fair share trade in value for it. Customer service was quite good and Quinton did a very good job in getting the required documents in order.This was easily the smoothest vehicle purchase I have made and will definitely be back when the need arises. The ONLY drawback was that I was provided with just one key for the vehicle. Quinton did reassure me that I could stop by again at any time and have a key made/programmed at cost.

This isnt my first car buying experience,but I will rate it as the best there was we had no back and forth with him. I think my experience was more than reasonable. I drove down prepared to leave my info and let them search high and low for an affordable loan, and call me within the next day or so with an offer. Well imagine my surprised when it worked out for me with nothing but a car with 200,000 that s 17 years old. I stuck to what I could and wouldn't do and they worked it out. I don't know what the future will bring, but so far I have praise for Summerville Ford and Adrian Townsend, Sales Consultant. All this happend in about 2 hours or so...drive in to transferring article from one car to another to leave.

Two weeks ago I was searching the internet for a 2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor black/black and came across Summerville Ford's inventory of exactly what I was searching for. I contacted Sal Rigoroso Internet Sales Manager, I explained to him I was interested in the truck and wanted to purchase it. I then explained to him that I lived in New Jersey. After a brief conversation with Sal I was completely confident that he was my man for this transaction. The transaction was painless and simple easier than other dealings ive had sitting in the dealership and we were 800 miles apart. Once all the paperwork was completed/ signed my truck arrived at my doorstep 2 days later. I couldn't be more satisfied with Sal and Summerville Ford when other Ford dealerships were giving me the run around Sal and his staff closed the deal. Thank you one satisfied customer

Had found a car that I liked on Cars.com and email Sal Rigoroso about the 2011 Cube that I was interested in. Made arrangements via email to come and check out the vehicle. When I arrived The car was sitting out front ready for me to test drive. That was great since I have a young child an was working on very little time. Sal was very helpful and patient with my family. I had gone to this dealer looking at a specific used car that was way under priced. Got there and was given the run around for 4.5 hours. Being told let me see what I can do. Had the car listed for $ 15, 000 by the time they were done I looked at what they had wrote up it was going to be $22, 000. Plus 22% apr.

Needed to "retire" our 1999 Ford Explorer for a newer, and hopefully more reliable vehicle. Searched online for a used Ford Edge/Lincoln MKX and quickly found what we were looking for. I sent an email to Sal who responded quickly via email and a phone call. The next day I took a 2010 Ford Edge on a test drive, looked it over and called my husband to test drive after work. The next day was Sal's day off although he agreed to come in to discuss our possible trade-in and a sale. The next day we asked if we could take it to have our mechanic look it over....no problem. Came back, sat down and Sal gave us a fair purchase on our used vehicle and fair price on the used Edge. Sal is personable and very direct. My wife and I were very impressed with how Sal Rigoroso handled the purchase of our new 2013 Explorer XLT. I can say without reservation that this was the most pleasant new car purchase experience I have ever had. We were pleased that Sal worked hard to give us a deal that we felt very good about, especially with making sure we took advantage of the available incentives; and we never felt pressured about the process. We are both extremely happy with the 2013 Explorer XLT and we feel that we got exactly what was wanted in options and features (we really wanted the Deep Impact Blue color and the Dual Climate Control option, for example), and we are very pleased with the multitude of other options the new Explorer has to offer, including the ability to use Bluetooth on a cell phone to pair with Ford Sync, which really has come in handy. From the first phone call through the test drive and even through the paperwork process, Sal took care of us, and made us feel very comfortable, and we appreciated that.

This was the BEST car buying experience I have ever had. I studied cars.com for weeks looking for exactly what I wanted and found it here. I made ONE phone call to Sal Rigoroso and told him I was very interested in the truck and was coming to buy it. I drove almost two hours to the dealership and when I arrived, the truck was washed and sitting right in the drive way when I turned in. In about an hour's time, I made the purchase and was driving off the lot. Sal was great, the other salesmen were great with our three kids, and Chuck (the finance mgr) was superb. I definitely recommend shopping here!!

We knew exactly what we were looking for when we walked on the lot, and we were not pushed for any "extras" that we didn't want. We were looking for a Ford Explorer, and we got a great deal on a 2012 with few miles and in great condition. My 10 year car finally lost it's appeal so I thought I'd stop by Summerville Ford to look around. Glad I did. Hank Williams was very friendly and helpful in showing me around the lot and had me test drive a Fusion.I loved it! I was then introduced to Sal Rigoroso who is also very knowledgeable and personable. He was able to answer all my questions, set my mind at ease and we negotiated to close the deal. Summerville Ford was the third car dealership I visited in the Summerville area while searching for a used vehicle with low milage. I had called ahead and spoke with Sal igoroso and explained the price range and the lists of dos and donts I wanted. I met with him the following day and was pleased that I did not have to spend hours and hours looking for what I wanted. I ususlly dread going to car dealerships, but this experience was painless. I did not feel pressured and did not have to spend wasted hours. He did not call and "bug" me when I left to work out the financial part of the deal. He found exactly the car I wanted and I certainly appreciate his professionalism. I would not hesitate to contact him in the future.

I began working with Sal about 6 mo ago and let him know immediately that I was looking for something particular and that I would be ready to buy soon but not very soon. I also started by asking Sal to find us a used Suburban. Sal emailed deals very professionally and continually without any pressure. I bought a new Ford Flex for my wife a week and a half ago. I went to this dealer wanting to purchase a truck, the sales person found me a better deal, but gave me serious run around, he would set up a meeting time and when I got their would say he busy, so we would schedule another time and he wasn't answering his phone, when I called back for answers or to confirm the meeting. It been 3 days with no called back of a yes or no. So I went to another dealership.

I took a 1999 Ford Taurus in for a transmission problem. I received a call from the service manger stating the transmission oil was dirty, smelled burnt and was gritty. I was quoted a price of $3500 to replace the transmission. As the car has high mileage I declined after receiving a sales pitch. When I brought the car home I checked the transmission oil and found it to be in pefect condition, it was a clean pink color, did not smell burnt and was not the least bit gritty. I called back the service manager and was advised the transmission technician was gone for a week and he would get back to me. over the next 3 weeks I called the service manager 3 more times each time I was told he would get back to but never did. I finally called the dealership General Manager , who said he would check and get back to me . Ashort while later the service manager called he could not give me a reason why they had had written up the problem as they did and suggested if I was'nt satisfied to go elsewhere. I feel the service was terrible at best and bordering on incompetecy or dishonestly at the best. Do not use this dealership.
