My husband and I came in to buy out at the end of our lease. We were greeted by Paul Melendez. He was very happy to assist us but asked to offer some advice. He wanted to know if he could get us into a new car at the same price, would we be willing. After speaking with him for a bit, we decided to allow them to try to accommodate this. Paul spoke with the GM and came back with a payment just a couple of dollars above our current payment. We accepted, then somehow the conversation transferred over to my vehicle, also purchased at Sutherlin. I was asked if they could get me in a new car, for a lower payment, would I want to purchase. That’s an easy choice, new warranties and no mileage. Though I didn’t think it was possible, I said sure. If you can get me a lower payment, I’m in. Well, my mind was blown when they came back with a lower monthly payment with almost nothing down. Paul and Michael Spinazzi were absolutely amazing. They really cared about us, as people, not just about making money.

We did not buy a car from Nissan today. The wife and I are in our “shopping” stage and have visited multiple dealerships today. Elijah, my Nissan Salesman, was the first salesman at any dealership to continue to assist us after hearing we weren’t buying the vehicle today. He stayed with us, answered all of our questions, and maintained professionalism throughout our visit. I have never purchased a Nissan before, but after today, I will be back to buy a Nissan from Elijah. I highly recommend doing your business with him. Five stars.

Shane R. is an excellent salesman; not pushy but kind and listens to the customer. He navigated the best and most cost efficient deal for our teenage daughter’s first car. He is beyond experienced with his level of “customers first” attitude. I have been shopping at many dealerships and I didn’t buy because of transparency. The BOGO looks good upfront until you realize that you ended up paying twice as much for the purchased car! And you are waiting for the other shoe to drop when you turn the leased car back in. The finance rep spent most of my 8 hr day there either bragging about how he stuck it to someone else or by rewriting my paperwork 3 different times. All this while spending 3 different days and a total of over ~18 hrs at the dealership. Isn't that longer than it takes to construct a car? But I got mine in the end too when the same finance guy lead me to believe that I had both of my cars covered bumper to bumper for 5 years so to cover the leased one when I buy it out. Not to mention I had to make 3 more trips to get my paperwork correct, get my bonus merchandise on a promotional spin for each car received and to pick up my $25 internet gift card that only cashed out to be $20. I did like my salesman Shawn Grogg and the customer service guy Adam Lazar who covered for the owner who said "come to me personally if you have any issues." Yeahhhhh, right !

I would never buy a car at this dealership. I had been shopping around for a Pathfinder for about a month and I called this dealership to enquire about pricing and availability since I live about 2 and a half hours from the dealership. I was told by Amber Robinson and Eric Knowlston that they would better any price by $800.00 if I had the buyers agreement from another dealership. I took the drive, 2 and a half hours with the buyers agreement from another dealership. When I got to Sutherlin the sales rep, Larry Melia, was waiting for me and was very friendly until I told him that I was there to buy the Pathfinder and I has spoke to Amber about the price. He said he could not do that price and that the sales rep was him not Amber. I was with my 10 year old daughter and the sales rep had the nerve to ask if I wanted to argue in front of my daughter. I just walked out of the dealership. Complete disappointment. Cannot believe that a Nissan dealership would use lies and deception to attract buyers.

Back in 2000 I bought a used car from Sutherlin Nissan and it was the worst experience of my life...they knowingly sold me a car which I found out later was involved in a major vehicular crash, and had been pieced back together before they sold it to me...within a month it started falling apart on me, and I ended up having to buy a new car which I ended "upside down", as a result of still owing on the "lemon" that Sutherlin sold me...I swore I would never EVER do business with them again. Fast forward to 2015...I just stopped by looking at Pathfinders, when a salesman (Phil Cohen) came out and assisted me. I told him about my horrible experience in 2000 with his dealership, and he assured me that it was completely under "new" management. I took a chance, and ended up buying a brand new Nissan Pathfinder SL (loaded). The negotiations went well...and they ended up agreeing to my offer. Since then I have been VERY impressed with the customer service I have received. I've had a couple of "recall" issues, and every time they compensate me for my inconvenience with either a free car wash, or oil change. The people are very friendly, and VERY customer service oriented. I'm glad I gave them a second chance. Hopefully this high level of customer service continues, if it does, it is highly likely that I will continue to do business with them in the future.

I had an ironed out agreement to purchase a truck. I was told everything was approved. Checked and double checked that everything was OK because I had a long drive to the dealer. The salesmen was possibly the laziest human ever. I asked for days to get just a couple pics of the truck and the window sticker, but never got them. I spend a half of a day to get to the dealer only to find out that the approved price was ok'ed and then taken away. They wanted $8500 more than what was agreed to. I wouldnt be so mad had they been honest so I didnt spend a whole day and a lot of gas money to find out I was lied to.

My old car broke down on a Friday, and I had only a weekend to find another means of transportation, so I don't miss work. We were shown and test drove a vehicle, liked it and decided to buy one. We were offered a few color options and decided on one. The vehicle was prepped, we had to obtain financing as a condition of the price (we were told we could pay it off without penalty at any time) but had wanted to pay cash.The vehicle we test drove had an economy mode option and satellite radio. We were given a brochure and told we had 6 months free satellite radio and then we'd have to purchase a subscription. We we got the vehicle home and tried to transfer our satellite service from our trade in to the new car we couldn't figure it out. We took the car back to the dealer where two people tried to get the satellite feature going, only to discover our vehicle wasn't equipped with a satellite radio. We then discovered the "economy mode" was another feature we thought we had purchased was not installed on our vehicle.Our salesman, after failing to get the radio programmed and realizing it was not equipped as we had thought, told us "well, that's how we were able to get you the price you wanted". Why were we given a brochure and told we had to buy service after 6 months if it wasn't even equipped?I filed a complaint with the State of Florida, but when you accept the vehicle and drive off you've signed a paper saying you accept it. Be sure to read the fine print and make sure the vehicle you test drive is equipped like the one you end up with.This was an expensive lesson, but I learned not to buy from Sutherlin Nissan again.

We had bought 2 cars at Sutherlin Nissan along with the car care service plans. The service department used to be convenient by allowing walk ins, which were done in a timely manner. Over the last 6 months it's difficult to make an appointment and there are no walk ins permitted. Even with an appointment I waited over 2 hours for an oil change.

I brought my car in for a recall. I had set a 7:30am appointment because I was told it would be the first car in at that time. After my car had sat in the same spot for an hour and fifteen minutes for what I was told would only take 45 minutes. I tried ask what was going on and just got pawned off to different employees with no answer. These service department employees are nice at first but when they do something wrong and you call them on it they become rude and unfriendly.

Phil is a straight shooter, tells you like it is , BUT still work his tail off to get you into the vehicle you want at the price you want. He got me into a Rogue SL and was always professional and friendly, Everyone I met at Sutherlin Nissan is friendly and speak (say hi ask how you are etc) as they pass you even if they are not working with you on your deal!

I was made an offer and when I tried to take up on it the very next day they pulled off without even caring that I had already made arrangements... No regards for their customers! I enjoyed the time I spent at the dealership. It was my first time buying a new car and I was nervous. I did't have good credit, so I didn't want them to get over on me. I first dealt with Tino and expressed my concerns. He took extra time to explain the whole process to me. I also worked with Denise and she was wonderful and simple. She told me where my credit was, and then we walked the lot. I didn't like the vehicles she picked out. I really wanted a newer Nissan Altima. I picked one out and she got me into it. That simple. I was out of there in two hours. I had an issue with the window tint place they use and Adam (Service Manager) was able to send a mobile tint specialist to my job. Also, after I bought the car, I noticed there was no back speakers. I was not aware of that. I spoke to Adam and he took care of the installation of wiring and speakers. I am so happy with my new car and the service. And then after I bought the car, Carlos from financing called me and gave me a complimentary 2 year maintenance plan for my vehicle. That really saved me alot of money. Yey.......... Carlos is the best financing advisor there. Since my credit is low, he gave me suggestions on how to improve my score, so I can refinance later and not pay so much for interest. This is all new to me and they spent so much time with me explaining and did not get frustrated at all with my repeat questions. LOL....... I think I was getting frustrated with myself. There team is awesome. They took care of me all the way around. They really went above and beyond. I am sending everyone I know over there. Down side is, I wish I would of got a cover for my keys. :( Naples Nissan is very horrible, especially with customer service!!!!!!!!! Always go to Sutherlin Nissan.....................

We bought a Nissan at Sutherlin in September 2015. We were treated nicely by our salesperson, although we felt very pressured to purchase. They were all over us to buy and that was the END of Sutherlin caring for us as a customer. It became apparent We were ONLY a number, just another car sold!! Never were we told that we will be paying $799 for dealership fee on our cash sale; this is when we should have gotten up and left this pushy dealership. Then 6 weeks went by and I never received my car title. I continued to call month after month, week after week to obtain a title I paid CASH for!! I was promised it was coming, and told you should get it soon...finally after 5 months, in February 2016, I went into the dealership for the second time demanding my title! I was told "I fell through the cracks"!! Then, I personally took all the paperwork and received my title on my own!! I spoke with the General Manager, Mike twice demanding the $799 dealership fee back, which I felt was a joke, especially since I did the work to obtain a title for my own car. He has refused to return my request, and never did he apologize or recognize his dealership did anything wrong to me after 5-6 months without a title!! I will never return to Sutherlin Nissan of Fort Myers and warning you to think twice before you do!!

Agreed on a price. Contract said 1000.00 more than agreed on. Small repairs and 2 keys were promised - half repairs done just one key received. Never was shown actual contract - only signature pad. Was told I couldn't get my copies until the next business day when I picked up car. My mistake that I didn't insist - lesson learned!

We purchased a 2015 Nissan NV3500HD from Sutherlin in August 2015. This vehicle was known by both parties as having disabled/missing safety equipment. Specifically, most of the rear head restraints were missing. We agreed to purchase the vehicle with the condition that Sutherlin would provide the missing head restraints. This was agreed upon by both parties. It has now been over six months, and Sutherlin has failed to provide the missing safety equipment. For the last six months, we've been getting the runaround from sales with the pitch that "we're trying to locate some headrests". Sutherlin could very easily provide new head restraints, but is refusing to live up to their end of the agreement.Updated 2/24/2016: Was contacted by new internet sales director Slavek after original review was posted. He offered to resolve the issue immediately and just purchase the missing head restraints that were owed us. One week later, the head restraints were in and available for pickup.Still rather upset that it took half a year to get this resolved, but they did finally come around.

I would have never imagined a young 20 year-old, part-time worker, and full-time college student could get a auto loan . My old car wasn't reliable and I really needed a car to drive the long distance to school, to the hospital where I volunteer, and to work. I tried getting an auto loan from my banks but they both rejected me. I felt depressed because no one wanted to give me a chance. Then a friend recommended I come to Sutherlin Nissan to talk to Neil. Neil was truly phenomenal. He was direct and honest with me all the time. I went there hopping that I could get approved for a loan. Not only did Neil help me get approved but he was able to get me car that same day for an affordable price. I don't believe Neil knew how I truly appreciated his help. We were under time restraints because we had to get back to Toronto . However my drivers window would not function . This meant that sometimes it would not close. Not good for a long trip! Our consultant, Jimmy, said just get here early and they would fix me up. Sure enough , the master board was the problem and replaced the same day. He was very professional and polite. I am somewhat new to Fort Myers and wanted to look into purchasing a Nissan Altima. Never been to Sutherlin Nissan nor knew much about them, I was met by Armstrong and I told him what I was looking for. He found one for us. Explained all the features. Took it for a test drive. Liked it and so began the car buying process. I am an upfront person and I like to deal with upfront people. No nonsense. I was happy to to see that Armstrong was that type of person. We worked out a deal and then off to the finance person. Julio in finance was very good to work with also. My experience was very good but the best was yet to come. You buy a car you spin the wheel for a prize...I spun and won the top prize. Now it does not get much better than that.

I have been dealing with 3 nissan dealers across the state. All pretty close in price but i drove 2 hours to save $600 going there to find out they lied and were $2000 more. Then i went to the other nissan and same thing. So expecting the same thing to happen I went to Sutherlin Nissan to see Jerry Ulm and Wade Miricle who not only did what they promised as far as figures but also threw in extras for free because we had a horrible experience at the other nissan dealers and appreciated me being loyal to the brand. Please don't waste your time anywhere else see jerry and ask Wade for the Miracle deal how does he do it

Let me start by stating this is the first negative review I've ever written. I purchased a 2015 Nissan Leaf SL last night from them. We negotiated the deal on the phone and I drove 100+ miles to pick up the car. When I went to Finance I was told by Julio who was doing the deal, that the interest rate was 3.99%. I asked about the 0% APR + $5,000 Cash back that was advertised for the LEAF. He told me that Nissan NEVER offers both 0% + cash back, it's one or the other and the interest rate was 3.99% which by the way added $3,999 interest to my loan over 72 months. I tried to find where I saw the advertisement on my phone but I couldn't find it at the time. When I got home late that night I found right on the dealership's web site that I was lied to. There was a current offer for both 0% + $5k cash for a Nissan Leaf. I called the dealership this morning and was told basically, tough luck. I WAS VERY TICKED OFF AT THE ATTITUDE OF BLAKE WHO FINALLY CALLED ME BACK TODAY AND SAID IF I WANTED 0% HE WOULD CHARGE ME $2,000 more. I AM ALSO PO'd THAT JULIO WAS EITHER IGNORANT OF NISSAN PRIGRAMS OR HE BLATANTLY LIED TO ME WHEN HE TOLD ME THAT NISSAN NEVERS OFFERS 0% + CASH BACK. You would think that a finance manager would be knowledgable about the programs that the dealership advertised on their own web site.

Tried to buy a car yesterday went got bank draft told them we were coming 137miles away they sold it out from under us didn't even tell us they had someone else looking at it. Thay wanted to make sure they had us on the hook in case that deal fell through . In mean time we stopped looking. Being a women I was a little intimidated shopping for a car. I normally have my dad or my boyfriend or close male friend come with me so I don't feel like I am being taking advantage of. I wasn't sure if I would want a Nissan I had always had Honda civic in the past. After I test drove the all new Altima I fell in LOVE! It even was below what I was paying monthly for my Honda Civic. All three salesman helped me since I made two different stops at the store. I purchased my vehicle on the 28th of August. Since then the purchase process has been a nightmare to say the least. I traded in a vehicle which 45 days later has yet to be paid off. In person, face-to-face I requested they utilize two banks of my choosing only. If these two did not accept the deal I did not want the vehicle as I have a relationship with them. Finance manager Mr. Anthony Costa then decides to unethically "Shotgun" me to over 9 banks. When these attempts yielded negative results he requested I provide a co-signer. He then "Shotgunned" my co-signer as well. Almost a month into the deal I had made several calls to the dealership, I was promised time after time on a call back or an update. No return calls were received and no update was provided. Once 30 days had passed I was contacted to sign a new contract as they finally received an approval. I did so even after being highly disappointed with their horrible customer service. It is now 15 days later and the deal is still not complete. My trade-in is STILL not paid off and I am nearing my first payment for my new purchase. Therefore, I have two car loans to pay. They have had my trade-in for over 45 days. I will NEVER recommend this dealership to ANYONE due to their unethical practices, horrible customer service and lack of attention to detail. I have NEVER dealt with such unprofessional, unorganized individuals. This is the last thing I would expect from a dealership when you are investing such a large amount of money.

Now that I've been in this dealership I understand what all the negative reviews are for. They are all correct! I can't comment on the service on the vehicle since I was just there to buy a new car. From the very beginning in just emailing them you get the vibe they don't want to help you. I even spoke to the GM. I'm from out of town. So I email him since they other internet sales associate just stops emailing me back. I emailed him twice. I tell the GM what car, trim, and package. He says they have it within seconds of emailing him. I get there, they don't. I should've known since I also emailed Harbor Nissan and the guy took a day (on his day off by the way) to look for the car I wanted. He said no one had it. But had the package in a different trim level. Anyway, we end discussing a different trim level. I want to write everything that happened but its just way to much. They switched the car a couple times. Then tell me that they want to deal with just one car and for ME to stop switching vehicles. Then they switch sales associates on you when one feels he isn't getting anywhere. Then when you look at the paper thats on the window of all the cars theres other features they charge you for which are completely made up. Especially the market price adjustment or something like that. If you go to Harbor Nissan, they don't have anything like that on there. Sutherlin does it so they can raise the price, then drop it to make you feel you are getting a good deal. But really you end up paying the actual sticker price. They scribble all over a piece of computer paper to try and confuse you and asking you to sign it as if that means something. I work in HR and have a public notary license. That does not mean anything. Sign your name 100 times on that paper. Means nothing. Only when you get to the finance guy does it really mean something. Speaking of that, we end up at 23K for the car. The whole experience I felt they were screwing me over. But I wanted a car so I stayed, and if I got the price I wanted, then I guess I could put up with there b.s. I get to the finance guy, who was the only honest one by the way, and he tells me the monthly price. I grab a calculator and multiply it by 60 months. Turns out its $2580 higher than what we agreed with the sales guy! But the finance guy goes with what is on the computer, he doesn't negotiate the sales price. So he calls in the 2 out of 3 sales guys that "helped" me out. We end up arguing the price we agreed on. Brings in the scribbled piece of paper with a ton of numbers on it. Of course he leaves out the one with the last deal we made. He tell me we agreed on 24,500 out the door price and I say we agreed on 23K out the door price. After a heated argument, I look at the finance guy and ask him what the out the door price is on the car, he says 25,580. Then I ask what the price is before the taxes, tag, title, he says 23K. I look at the sales associate and ask him how the xxxx we could of landed on 24,500 if that is no where on the screen. He stays quiet. (the kind of look on his face like he F****** up). Pretty much they put in the computer that 23K was the price before the taxes, tag and title and not after the taxes tag and title. So the sales associate says he's gonna talk to the GM and come back. I talk to the finance guy while we wait, and he says, honestly, they won't do it because they are gonna lose to much money. Thats why I say he's the only honest guy their. Sales associate comes back and says he can't do 23K out the door, and then tries to negotiate 24,500 out the door. Saying they are still losing a lot of money and showed me on the computer how much they are losing with that price. At this point I don't care, I had enough of there crap, and I left. I go to Harbor Nissan, have the best experience ever. I left a review for them also. By the way, Harbor Nissan still beat Sutherlin's price and say they do it all the time. Just come here to get a price so Harbor can beat it or let them match it. You will have a much greater experience there. Sutherlin is devious, and will trick you any way possible. These guys are the ones that make up good reviews for themselves to mask the bad ones. My second review in my life is this one. The first one was an amazing review for Harbor Nissan. As I'm typing this review I notice the ones they put on the side from other people. One name is "thebook123" another is "jasmine123" I'm going to safely assume they made up these reviews. C'mon Suthelrin, you can do better than that. Well maybe they can't. Do not buy a car from these people.

Looking for a new car was a hard task. No other dealorship offered me what Sean brannigan did at Sutherlin Nissan. He went above and beyond to meet my needs. I got the car I wanted and was able to stay at the monthly payments I could afford. Sean didn't try to sell me something out of my price range like other dealerships would. I recently purchased a 2015 Nissan Altima from Sutherlin Nissan. I can't express the amazing experience I had dealing with Sean Bannigan. I was very nervous about the typical used car sales man approach, but that was not the case with Sean. He listened to my needs and what my budget was, then gave me several options that would meet both. The most important thing I came away with was the education on what I was buying. Will go to Kia which was much more friendlier.WELL HOLD ON..... Within the hour I first posted this I received two calls from Summerlin Nissan. Talk about having a sense of urgency...... Wayne spoke with me and I explained what happened. He was very empathetic and invited me back today and said he would make things right and I would leave a happy customer. And yes I did.... He turned a bad experience into a good one with the help of his manager. I was very happy to get the car I wanted.My apologies to Joseph. I was only upset with him because he helped another customer when we were waiting for him. But in retrospect he probably was following orders from the boss. If he does that again he should at least let the customers waiting know what's going on.The only advice I would give to future customers is if a guy named Sean shows up RUN!!!!!!

I went to four other dealers, all they gave me was the run around for a first time buyer. I spoke with Slavek a few times. I decided to go in and see what could happen. My credit was not so great and had no money expect for a trade. Slavek and his boss Mitra worked until they found a company that accepted me and my trade. They help me accomplish a goal for me and my son that day. I left in tears of joy and a beautiful car that works for my budget. I will definitely be back and I would recommend them first, before any other dealer.

Horrible experiencing dealing with this dealership. They tried selling me a base model Frontier Crew Cab SV for $29,000 out the door... which is a ridiculously high price. Ended up walking out of the dealership once I sat down with finance and seen all the extra hidden fees. Sales rep also lied and stated the truck I inquired about was sold minutes before I showed up. I looked the truck up and found out that it was actually at their Orlando dealership and not the Fort Myers dealership. While test driving the vehicle, the low fuel light came on, had to turn around because they didn't put gas in the vehicle. Also, finance told me I was only approved for financing through Nissan at 4.5% APR at 80 months, the other dealership I purchased from got me approved through Nissan at 2.5% for 60 months.I ended up purchasing a vehicle yesterday at a different dealership in Port Charlotte. I got the same truck with more options, spray in bed liner, bed extender, rear view camera, side steps, and tow package. Out the door I paid $26,400 which included tax, tag, title, etc... I was in out within 2 hours, I ended up spending over 4 hours at Sutherlin Nissan only to have a very poor experience. I'll never go back to Sutherlin Nissan and I'll also never recommend the dealership to friends and family.I hope that management and Nissan Corporate see this review so that they can help them consolidate the issues that they have internally. There's right and wrong way to treat a prospect and this dealership did everything wrong from the beginning.

I heard about their BOGO and went to check it out. Every car on the lot has an additional sticker.The major items added are Adjusted Market Price- $3,495.00 and Paint Package $1,995. There were others also. The salesperson told me the BOGO applies to a 2 year lease or the value therof on a Sentra. I told him I would never pay the add ons and he first said that anything is negotiable. Then he changed his story and said to get the BOGO you had to pay for the items on the second sticker. He also said it was always good to put money down on a lease which is not true. I walked out. The add ons are a joke and only serve to waste the customers time negotiating them out, or screwing the customer if they are not negotiated out. Worse experince at any car dealer ever.

Upon entering the building the salespeople were in the parking lot ready to greet you immediately. I told the dealer the two types of cars I was interested in and he drove me over. I had my paperwork showing invoice pricing, rebates etc. Now what I mean by being smart is on the cars they had over $5,000 in added dealer fees. One was $1995 for paint and scotch guard, $49 for nitrogen in the tires, a dealer add on for wheel locks and the "biggie" was $3495 for adjusted market value. I told the sales person then I will not pay any of those fees. Did the test drive and while Versa is a decent car I had reservations but decided to price it out and see. Even after I stated I would not pay those fees the first offer included all of them. They did end up removing all the added fees but I did not buy the car not because of the sales people or price but using the car I was I knew I would not like it after a while. If you buy a car from them be smart on your prices and they will cave in and give you a fair price.

I purchased a new versa in may of 2013, what a mistake. It leaked engine oil from the first day. Was in their service department five times in elevin months.I contacted nissan usa and got the run around. So I went too the bbb and filed a lemon law complaint. It took over a month along with many pages of documents to get an offer from nissan to buy their junk back. Don't waste your money on a nissan or sutherlin nissan. Buy a toyota they are much more dependable.

The bogo event they offer is nothing more then a ploy to get you in the door. They literally offered me 6k less then black book for my trade, the truck I was looking at for full sticker price, and they kept all the Nissan incentives. The manager Jose said we were close to a deal after haggling a little bit, call back 3 days later and back at squar one with them wanting me to finance 42k instead of the 28 k previously talked about. The place is a joke!!!!!

BAD!! HORRIBLE! AWFUL!! OBNOXIOUS!! NASTY SERVICE!!! More than one week after promising fix the A/C deliver my NISSAN VERSA 2012 NEW, they gave me it back but NOT WORKING!! How can it be? The day before they said they were testing the car!! OK, I leave the car there at the dealer and take a taxi home.. following day Manager TONY says that a stone went to the A/C. Car is under WARRANTY!! I have additional WARRANTY but that is also not valid!!! WHAT? Finally he suggests me call the Customer Service NISSAN who finally understood the BAD SERVICE!! Tony has the courage to say that to fix the A/C would cost me US$ 750 !!! (I purchased the car NEW, it is UNDER WARRANTY and purchased extended WARRANTY!!! RIDICULOUS!! Now the Customer Service will call me next week.. I keep on vacation without A/C but LUCKY to DO NOT LIVE in FORT MYERS as the Sutherlin Nissan of Ft Myers is making me think about selling and NEVER MORE buy a NISSAN!!! By the way, love my other car, a LEXUS!!! Maybe TOYOTA will be my 2nd car!!! Stay away from this DEALERSHIP if you can!!!

I normally go there for my oil changes and usually never have a problem, one time an oil filter was not tight enough but usually I even get coupons and good deals from them. A few days ago I was looking to trade in my car that I owed money on still. One dealer offered $4000 but Sutherlin gave me $5000 for my nissan. Bought a Nissan Sentra from them, low mile. Got a great deal. Then I find it needed a keyless entry keyfob and had a 100 miles till needing an oil change, got both free. Now got a call saying they found an extra key, so even after the sale they still try to make things better. Last dealer I went to that I got my last car from could care less and gave me a poor car so Sutherlin has made my life 10x better. I also buy parts from them and have been given a few discounts once in a while. I always walk the lot when getting work done and always get greeted by friendly sales staff asking if I need help. Will be keeping their name on my car as a courtesy.

I went in to this dealership on Monday, November 25, looking for a Rogue or other SUV to accommodate my dogs. I worked with Yurkis, who, by himself, was OK: Seemingly knowledgeable about the product, energetic, eager to serve. We found a Rogue SV which was very nice looking and well appointed with leather seats and all amenities. A concern I had was that the space in the headliner taken up by the moonroof would cause the ceiling to be too low for my dogs. He said the headliner didn't really take up any extra room (red flag: it DOES indeed take up more room) and my dogs should be OK. Despite this, I decided to take the car for a drive. Let me say the Rogue does have a lot of HP under the hood, but the CVT transmission DOES NOT allow for quick pick-up off the line, or any hard maneuver 'get-up and go'. I voiced this concern and Yurkis told me that there are ways you can feather the gas pedal to get more pick-up (red flag 2: I shouldn't have to learn how to step on the gas). Every car has it's nuances, so despite this, I was still on board for pricing.The moment we stepped into the dealership, Yurkis' demeanor turned into that of a stereotypical salesman. His banter ran like this, almost verbatim: "How much do you want to pay? How about $90 more? That's close, right? How about if we knock $2,000 off the price How about $3,000? Can we close this deal right now if I can get your payment to $XXX?" (red flag 3: already dropping the price by $2k+ with offers to drop more without my prompting?) I said that I had to get back to work, which I did, and that I'd like my wife to come take a ride before I made any decisions, offering to come back with her after work. Then, 'the Manager' came over. A smarmy jock xxxxxxx with a pink tie, a bad attitude and delusions of grandeur. He came at me like Cassius Clay - "It sounds to me like you don't like this car." and "Why don't you want to make a deal?" and "Why do you have to ask your wife's permission?" (SERIOUSLY?!) and "Why did you have us run the numbers if you weren't going to buy today?" (red flag 4: treating me like a crime suspect). I indignantly endured his barrage, assuring him I would be back, and went back to work. Instead of heading back to Sutherlin immediately after work, I stopped by Sam Galloway Mazda where I promptly purchased a CX-5 for less than the cost of the Rogue, about the same trim, better gas mileage and far more power under the hood. I was treated with respect by the whole team. Yurkis called me this morning to ask why I hadn't come back yesterday and I told him: 1. The 'manager's' poor treatment which Yurkis defended as ok, because the manager is just trying to sell cars; 2. Shifty sales tactics; 3. I already bought a better car at a better price. As soon as he heard #3, he hung up on me.I hope your visit to Sutherlin Nissan is as good as mine!

Took the car into the dealership to get a spare key, the belongs to my niece and she was promised a spare key and remote by G. Rosa, well after getting there and waiting for 2hrs G. Rosa backed out of his promise because he said " we have to cut a key and program it and i'm not losing $200.00 in that deal " if we wanted the key we had to pay for it. We spoke to different managers and the all treated with desrespect and looked at us like we were trying to rip them off. All in all they are a bunch of unprofessionals that don't care about what happens once the car is out the door. I will NEVER EVER recommend this dealership to anybody!!!!

dealer sold me a car that at a price over what was suggested in consumer reports. It was supposed to come with a multi disk cd player.It was supposed to come with 9 bose speakers and a subwoofer. We went over everything it was supposed to come with and the windowsticker which I have will copy to anyone said multi cd player 9 bose speakers and subwoofer. I discovered a few days after delivery that it had a single cd player and no bose speakers. I objected and they said something about it was because I bought the luxury model. They said that my model, the very car with the sticker on it and matching vin numbers, was not available.But the sticker said it was and was part of the package I bought.All this has been forwarded to the Florida Attorney General and an investigator called me about it this afternoon. Strangely, now 5 months after the purchase, the dealer called and said they would by me an mp3 player of resolve it. I said no. They also threw in at purchase a so called $400 sealant job. A week later they called me and said I owed $400. I didn't and they had no proof so I said no there too They even called my credit union and tried to get the money on my loanWhat a fraudulent dealer. They lie and lie and lie. Don't go there. Whatever you do, go somewhere else for a car.

Spoke to John on the phone, all went well. Visited the dealership to look at a left over 2012 Frontier. First John had difficulty finding the truck in the inventory list online. Once found he retrieved the truck from the lot for us to look at. While looking at it he tried to convince us it was a 2013 not a 2012. Clearly it wasn't. We left. I followed up with an email verifying the VIN number (which includes the model year) to John and cc'd his manager. John called to follow up on the 2012 (I'm sure only because I cc'd his manager) but the price he quoted was way out of line compared to the couple of other dealers that had the same 2012 truck left over. Bottom line, John is your typical "car salesman". I certainly would not return to Sutherlin Nissan in Ft Myers. If you buy from them, you probably paid too much....

SUTHERLIN NISSAN OF FT MYERS BOOSTED THE COST OF TRANSACTION, Worst dealer ever IN SOUTHWEST FLORIDA. Please stay away, I have never believed in these types of reviews but I am writing so others don't go through what I have with these dealers. Full of scam artists and cheap tricks if you are trying to buy a car. The tricks are so bad that anyone can see through the LIES. I was promised out the door price & terms I wanted over & over . The most abrasive is the payment BUMP. This occurs after I have negotiated my payment with the salesman and have reached an agreement. Then, when I was signing the paperwork, I was told by the finance manager that my payment & the term of my loan were actually higher, $60.00 bump in payment & 14 more months to pay.I walked away and went to Naples Nissan who were fair and honest and got the deal I wanted. My wife and I went to the dealership just to look at the choice of cars on the lot not really prepared to make a purchase. We were immediately greeted by a very polite salesman. Talking to the salesmen for a while we realized we were ready and able to make the purchase that we wanted. Looking at all our choices the salesmen walk us through every step. I have bought several cars from this dealership and currently still own three right now. I had to have some work done on my Nissan Titan. I was able to call in make an appointment show up have the work done and leave without a hassle. If it was not for Jon Hopping and Jeff Lockhart to help me through the ordeal that I had with my truck, I am not sure what I would have done. They were able to help me out on a Saturday evening when a lot of other places were closed. They took care of everything that need to be done and I did not have to worry about anything. worst dealership in florida. I bought a used vehicle that had many problems. I bring the vehicle back and Rick rose and the manager both told me they would take care of it. they had my vehicle for over a month then gave it back to me broke, the only answer was that it was my problem and I bought it so I need to deal with it, that is what the management actually told me. please please please don't anybody ever buy a vehicle from there. I bought a 2006 Saab and now I'm stuck with a piece of junk

I printed out a coupon from the Sutherlin Nissan website advertising oil/filter change & tire rotation for $19.99. When they called me to the cashier's window after the work was done, I was handed an invoice with a lot junk fees, fees which the service writer hadn't mentioned, and a credit that didn't correlate to anything as far as I could tell. The bottom line ended up being ~ 50% more than their coupon implied. The next day, that particular coupon was no longer posted on their website.

I went in and they asked $26,900 for this vehicle and $9,000 for my trade in but when I told the manager I will pay $23,500 and I want $9,500 for my trade in he got so mad and turn extremely red.I have never seen someone turn so red and so mad for getting a counter offer. I will never go there again and will encourage anyone to stay away from those people.To be fair, the salesperson was very calm and seem more professional than the manager.

I do not know it for a fact, but I believe the service writers receive a bonus for how much they get the customer to believe the things that are needed done on their car. I went to have a whining noise looked at and was told it was the power steering hose, plus about $3000 of other items needed to be repaired. I had the power steering fixed then about four weeks the same noise came back, but now it was the oil pump. I truly believe this dealership scams the customer into thinking everything on their car needs repaired. They do not offer the items such as important/safety items, just a list form their 32 point checkup. I would never go back here again.

Unreasonable answer given by service department on my AC. Called John and he said HE would look into. He sent Tina and she gave an answer that made no sense to my wife.She called me instead of John as promised, and told me same thing. I let her know it made no sense as well. I buy 2 cars every 2 years but will not visit them again. Stand behind your product and don't nickel and dime me. Your lose. I am selling my 8 month old Armada and buying from someone else.

Horrible experience! I have had my 2010 Altima there 3 times for loss of power, terrible hesitation and the keyless system regularly does NOT recognize when the key is inserted. Of course, nothing is ever wrong with the hesitation because the machine they hook it to says so .. as far as the keyless system not recognizing the key, I was told this is "Unheard of, just rubbish!" The funny thing, the loaner car did the same thing within 24 hours regarding the key. We took a picture and they refused to even look at it .. pretty much called us a liar to out face.I understand that any brand of car may have issue's but after way this dealership handled our issue .. i will NEVER buy another nissan!

I was in Ft Myers visiting. My 2003 Nissan Altima broke down. Sutherlin looked at it and said every major part involved needed to be replaced entirely. About $3000. I had it towed 150 miles to Tampa where I bought the car recently. Ends up NONE of what Sutherlin suggested was the case. NONE OF IT. I was fixed and on my way from my dealer for $200. Extremely lazy, awful service. I had an a/c issue and a brief overheat and instead of trying to figure out the problem Sutherlin just told me the AC and radiator needs replacing - among other things. Insane. Not to mention the extreme stress, towing expense, undo tension between myself and my dealer, etc, that Sutherlin caused. Yeah, I'd categorize these guys as criminal.

my tacoma was totaled Dec 30. i thought i would test drive a Frontier after i read alot of consumer reports comparing the two. Frontier out performs tacoma. for roughly the same price you get so many more nice features and quality for the money. This dealership honors "Hero Care" membership which i inquired about. Hassle free haggling over price was nothing! As i was leaving, i mentioned " this beats having to get a rent a car" and the dealership gave me a brand new Altima to drive until my truck was delivered for free. They also honored the $2000 incentives with the pricing. im not done yet..... and im still waiting on collecting my money from my insurance company from the wreck and i told Sutherlin at the rate State Farm is going it may be a few more weeks ect.... this Dealership said no problem, just bring in the deposit when you get it, and they are allowing me to drive off the lot with the truck. Folks, That is Customer Service!!! The vehicles speak for themselves.

Salesperson pulled credit without permision 2 years after I purchased car. Selesperson called me for a week up to three times a week and sent text message trying to make me purchase new car. I said over and over I had absolutely no intrest in a new car. I recently pulled credit report and dealership pulled my credit during same time frame that salesperson was calling me. I attempted to contact ft myers management for three days but no one ever called me back. my final call receptionist sent me to general manager in Orlando when I purchased my car in ft myers. Do not go to this dealership unless you dont mind random salespeople pulling your credit.

My experience at Sutherlin Nissan was exceptional! I was in desperate need of a new car and was having trouble with financing. As with a lot of people in our country the economic down turn hit my family and I very hard so my credit was less than perfect to say the least. I was working with 4 dealerships including this one and when all the others said I would need a co-signer or an inconcievable amount of money down, Jerry and Mike said "we can do this" and they did. Jerry found me the model of car (Nissan Rogue) that I really wanted and also was in my payment range. I cannot thank this team of sales/finance enough. I was facing puting thousands of dollars into the car I had and not knowing if it would last me another year at that. I would suggest sending anyone to this dealership for any purchase...New or Pre-owned.

Sutherlin Nissan is the Best at what they do. Understanding that anyone at anytime can have a problem. Afterall, they don't build the cars, They sell them and service them. What they do better than anyone else is HANDLE those issues when they come up. They offer superior service and fair pricing. I don't know about you, but I am willing to pay a little bit more if I KNOW that if something happens, they will take care of it. Their product, Nissan, is superior. Their Service and Sales Personnel, are extrordinarily knowledgeable and trustworthy. Their General Manager, U.S. (no joke, that is his name.) is involved in doing the right thing. AND their owner, Mr. Sutherlin, is a all respects a true gentleman and cares about his clients. I do not work for Sutherlin, nor am I related. I worked with new and used and it was the longest car buying experience I have ever had. They make you think your getting a good price when you really pay over kbb for a used car and have tiny print in their new car sale adds that say with 3,000 cash or tradeallowance. What a joke! took 7 hours from start to finish then they still didn't have the financing they told me they had carried on for 2 days.

Be prepared to wait!!!! Nothing they do is fast or friendly. It will take 3 hrs for a oil change. The sales staff is rude and more interested in smoking then helping. When I was buying my truck the salesman put me in the customer lounge, and went to smoke. Horrible is all I have to say.

Great experience, everybody was very friendly, and professional. They are willing to work with you too get your business. Purchased a new 2010 Nissan Rogue on September 4, 2010. We enjoy driving this car, a lot! Time will tell if we made the right decision, but I have no doubt that we did.

I have purchased 3 cars from this dealership and highly recommend it.because they are friendly and courteous and I never get that high pressure car salesman pitch from them. If you do your homework and know the price you want to pay for the car, you should be able to make a deal. John Leone has sold me all three cars, he is very easy to work with. Gerry Becker went over all the functions of the car and set up the bluetooth and Ipod features and was very knowledgeable, not a question he could not answer.

I was in search of a specific car, a 2010 Xterra Off Road. The people at Sutherlin greeted me warmly and introduced me to Jeff Lockhart. In all my years of buying cars in Michigan, Illinois, and Pennsylvania, I've never had such a great experience buying a car as I did with Jeff at Sutherlin. He was honest and up-front on every issue and question (no matter how silly or small) that I had. He accompanied me through a number of cars, never pushing or selling, and made the final purchase smooth, easy, and above all, fun and enjoyable.I spent 30 years in the advertising business, many of those on automotive clients. I also created The International Automotive Advertising Awards. The biggest problem with getting people to buy cars is the final experience that they have with a dealership. The car economy would get a huge boost if all the dealerships were as good as Sutherlin Nissan. I am a recent customer to your dealership and felt that a letter of recognition and thanks to all who helped to make my purchase a great experience. My experience started with watching your television commercial and then was lead to check out your web site, it is very user friendly and the instant chat with your representative was quite helpful. April was great at her follow to be sure that my appointment time with Forest Jones was convenient. Great job April! Your receptionist staff is inviting and quite professional both on the phone and in person.When I first arrived to the dealership, I was instantly greeted by Slavek Kondrashov and was introduced to Forest Jones. I found that Forest is quite approachable and is very much interested in his customers needs, concerns and sensitive to their situations. Forest handed me over to Slavek who took the time to be sure that he understood my needs and only showed me the inventory that fits my lifestyle and price range. Let me take a second here to explain the obstacles that had to be overcome. My husband lost his job in October of 2008, we were struggling to put it mildly and recently lost a vehicle to repossession, which of course created a very weak credit score. This was devastating and embarrassing to my family. I was convinced that neither you, nor any other dealership, would be able to help me find a newer car. Buy here pay here type dealerships were seemingly my only option and I checked into them but I didnt want to purchase an older car with questionable reliability or work with questionable businesses. A word about Slovek, once other dealerships salesmen realized my stressed credit rating, the salesmen would lower their level of customer service with me by working with another customer at the same time. Slovek took the time, at a risk a sale might not be able to happen, to be sure my needs were met and I was placed in a vehicle that fit my lifestyle and one that the bank would approve me in. There were other customers that day that a sale would have moved smoothly, I know this because I was very observant of what was going on around me, but he dedicated his time to me and only focused on my purchase. This is quite meaningful to me and will be a repeat customer for many years to come. Please be sure that Slovek receives the accolades that are very much deserving to him. He is an asset and a gentleman; it was not hard to feel confident that the vehicle I purchased from Slovek would be exactly what I need. Trust is very important to any customer and relationship building is key to make any sale, these are qualities that Slovek possesses. He kept my nerves calm, kept me focused, and remained very reassuring that a deal could be made.This leads me to my dealings with Mike Bickel. Mike treated me with dignity and respect, regardless of my financial mis-steps or unemployment woes. Mike kept working the best finance deal available. He was quite upfront and didnt make any promises that wouldnt be able to be kept. Mike left me with the impression that he was not going to give up on me. Mike also provided much needed financial and credit advice that is solid and will be followed so that I can continue my challenge to improve my credit score. Where many Finance Managers can be intimidating and put off by the challenge, Mike really worked hard for this customer and I so appreciate it. I am in a vehicle that is reliable, stylish and, most important, affordable in my tight budget. Through Mikes hard work and dedication I feel that I have been vindicated over my circumstance and given the opportunity to prove myself and have the proper loan that will rebuild my credit score.While I do believe that every business organization must always consider the bottom line, Sutherlin Nissan does it by treating the customer with respect. I felt during my whole transaction my needs were kept in the forefront, my budget was always in consideration and never felt intimidated or least deserving because of my credit issues. This is my third Nissan and my second experience leasing with Sutherlin Nissan. The dealership is a friendly, beautifully run, well maintained and managed facility. It was a pleasure working with Jeff Lockhart, who made me feel so "special" during the paperwork phase. Gerry took his time showing me all the bells and whistles with the electronics of my new Altima Coupe which was exciting and fun. I have usually worked with Nichole in service and you can't find a better person to take care of you. My husband is in the lawn care business and I've worked in the legal field for over 40 years. Both of us believe that customer service is everything, no matter what business you're in, taking clients' concerns and questions seriously and treating them with respect and kindness.

This is the second vehicle I have obtained from Sutherlin Nissan. The first was a 2007 Pathfinder 39 month lease that Jeff Lockhart arranged. When the lease was close to ending, I sought out Jeff's help once again. I told him that I would be in the market for another vehicle and thata I would be in touch soon. He remembered me from the Pathfiner lease and greeted me with a big smile and a handshake. He was so helpful the first time that I thought I probably couldn't go wrong working with him again. When I had the final inspection of my vehicle at home, I decided to stop into Sutherlin the next day to see Jeff. I was glad that I did because his no nonsense approach and ability to meet the customer's needs made selecting another new vehicle easy. Never pushy but always available, and very friendly - he is every car buyer's dream salesman. He answered every question I had, didn't rush me into making any decisions, and obviously knew his product well. Jeff is a real pro and I will probably stick with Nissan again when I'm ready for another vehicle. Of course, I will seek out Jeff's help when I do.

This is about my 15th car purchase and by far has been the easiest. Everyone knows you can spend all day in the dealership...well I was there for 1 hour from beginning to end, including going through financing! Not only that, they were incredibly thorough with the vehicle details. The best part....price. I used to get employee discounts through GM and the price I got was better than I could have received as an employee. From the sales manager, to the salesman to the product specialist...A+++++

For a while I was beginning to wonder if there was anyone else out there that still cared. Scott Barker proved to me on Sunday February 21, 2010 that there are some good caring people left. I felt like he did everything in his power to help me and anything I said didn't seem out of reason. There were so many cars that I looked at and thought I'd have to settle for less. Scott was both patient and sensitive to my needs. So not only am I extremely grateful, but 100% satisfied. So thank you my daughter and I are set for years. My wife & I knew it was time to replace/upgrade our current vehicle. We narrowed it down to 5 different vehicles. We inquired via the internet & to our surprise did not get much feedback except from Sutherlin Nissan & one other car dealership. I guess the other dealerships did not take our inquiry seriously...there loss our gain! Joe Orlando, our salesman was the 1st to call us while my wife & I were still researching the different cars on the internet. All I could say was "WOW" receiving that quick of a response. His reply was "I'm going to exceed your expectations" & that he did. We scheduled a time to meet & he had our Maxima right out front of the dealership apon our arrival. We were introduced to Mr. Orlando & went for a spin. Needless to say, what an amazing ride we had. He explained the features of the Maxima that seemed to really benefit our family & that it has! While Joe prepared our lease paperwork, Mr. U.S. Marine the General Manager (Yes,that is his real name)came & congratulated us. The treatment we received was Impeccable! Mr. Mike Spinazzee in the finance dept. was as efficient as our 1st introduction to Sutherlin Nissan. The lease on my Nissan Murana was up in January 2010. My husband and I looked at other dealerships before going to Sutherlin Nissan. My husband suggested that we go to a Nissan dealership because I went over the miles allowed on my lease. When we got to Sutherlin Nissan in Fort Myers, Scott Barker, the sales associate, showed us several vehicles. My husband and I told Scott Barker about the overage of miles and asked if we leased a Nissan, would Sutherlin waive the over miles fee. Scott Barker had to talk to his sales manager because he could not make that decision himself. Scott Barker and Chris, the sales manager, told both my husband and myself that they would waive the fee and not just once either. This was a major concern with my husband and the reason we went to a Nissan dealership. With the dealership agreeing to waive the fee, we picked out a 2010 Altima. The only reason I settled for the Altima and not the Audi convertible at Audi of Fort Myers was because Scott Barker and Chris, the sales manager said the fee was waived. In fact, while signing the paper work, I asked the finance manager "which one of these documents says we are free and clear of payments on the Murano?" At which time he pointed to the document and said "this one." A few weeks later, I receive a bill from Nissan Acceptance Motor Corp for $2800.00 for the miles over fee. I call Sutherlin Nissan and talk with Scott Barker. Scott told me to fax the document to him and they would take care of it and not to worry, he would call me when it was taken care of. Long story short, he didn't and the dealership didn't take care of the fee. In fact, the new sales manager, U. S. Marine (yes, that's his name) told my husband that it was not the dealership's policy to pay that fee. Whether it was policy or not, we were told by Scott Barker and Chris that the fee would be waived right at the desk in Chris's office. Scott Barker, Chris and the finance person told the new sales manager that there was no discussion of waiving the fee, which is a bold-faced lie. Scott Barker and Chris, the sales manager, outright Lied. The finance person was not part of the negotiation, so he did not hear our conversation with the sales manager, Chris and Scott Barker. Scott said what he needed to say to make the sale. Once the paper work was done, who cares, right? Well, now we have to pay Nissan the overage. If we don't, our credit will be ruined. I contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs, and they said that they don't get involved with sales practices of individually-owned dealerships, but opened a file and is supposed to have someone from Nissan North America USA contact me. Also, I have to contact an attorney because, number 1, I want my $2800 Sutherlin Nissan representatives promised; 2, I don't think that Sutherlin Nissan should be able to lie and cheat people to make sales; and 3, I think that Scott Barker should be held accountable for his deceptive, lying ways of selling vehicles, period! Scott Barker is a very smooth talker, he was very personable, and came across as being very honest. What's the saying? Wolf is sheep's clothing? The cautionary advice that one cannot necessarily trust someone who appears kind and friendly. Shame on Sutherlin Nissan of Fort Myers and Shame on Scott Barker, Sutherlin's car sales person.

We purchased two cars from Sutherlin Nissan two weeks ago and we are still not done dealing with them - we purchase new cars EVERY year and this has been the worst experience we have had purchasing a car. Today for me was the last straw. First of all we live really far away and have had to already go back once for service; now, today we receive a letter saying our tags are in we need to come pick them up - I call to see "what tags" and nobody can give me an answer - so now I have to call on Monday to see "what are they talking about" and why couldn't you just send the "tags" instead of a letter telling us we have to come pick them up like all the other dealerships do? So every time we get a letter we need to call and when we call they've already made the sale so now we are an inconvenience and they are RUDE - well let's see what happens monday if they make us DRIVE all the way there to pick up whatever it is they have - if they make us drive there it will be less expensive (since it will take two tanks of gas) and less time consuming (since it's about 2 hours each way) for us just to go to our local motor vehicle and pay $10 for the duplicates.... BUT we are at a standstill becasue when we can no one there can help us.... go figure

Purchased a used BMW with cash from Sutherlin Nissan in Florida, which needed to be registered out of state. Sales associate agreed to have all Title work (blah, blah, etc...) handled by Sutherlin Nissan... guess what?!?! They were never going to do this. If I had financed the car then they said they would process the out of state Title... telling me this weeks after I took delivery. Wait... I thought paying in cash was a good thing for a car deal? Took over 2 weeks to get Title papers from dealer so Temp tag is going to run out and I have to process the Title (plus registration) through the mail. Slow!!! They will not issue another temp tag of course... So the car will have to be parked for a while. Poor show. Lesson: read the contracts thoroughly (I only skimmed through them). Dealers lie (in very rare cases it's just miscommunication) no matter how nice they may act or what you agree on!!! Assume this and you should be ok. I have helped friends and family get cars for many years and I have removed Sutherlin Nissan from my dealer list.
