I purchased a 2012 Chevy Impala from the Terry Reid Hyundai location 5 days ago. The passenger window moves slower than the other windows, the brakes are now squeaking, and I found trash and a GUN HOLSTERS under the drivers seat of the vehicle. This car obviously was not inspected properly. The GM was rude and obnoxious and only offered to trade in the vehicle for another car.

we were repeatedly lied to by the sales manager on different subjects: payoff check being sent to our credit union, when we would be able to pickup our new car, and it took over a month for credit union to receive the title to our new car, TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, we would NEVER recommend this dealer ship to anyone.

I have been waiting on my money for my trade in for 5 weeks now, they told me to bring them a title release form and a 70 check and they would write me a check for my trade in, they will not call me back when I ask about my money for my trade in. This is the worst car dealership I have ever worked with.

Sales department was great, received awesome price on a 2016 Sonata Hybrid. Love the car! The Finance department leaves a lot to be desired though, and forget trying to get them to return a call to discuss why they ran so many credit checks when we were told there would only be one. Should have just used the financing we had in place with our trusted bank prior to entering the dealership.

My sales team John and Autumn were really great. They worked hard to help me find something I was happy with. Everyone in the dealership was very kind and helpful and they worked diligently to support my sales team to make sure we could make a deal. I can not remember everyone's name but the ladies who were taking calls were very helpful and kind offering me refreshments. The business and finance managers were very helpful, even offering me lunch due to the extended amount of time I was there. I am horrible with names and I only remember John's name because he has done follow ups with me and Autumn is a season so it's hard to forget, although it did take me a few times to get it right over the phone, but she was very gracious. Oh yes and the service guy who washed my car was nice as well.

Terrible experience. Elan tried to sell me a "brand new car" which had almost 4,000 miles on it. He said that because it has never been registered, the mileage doesn't matter it's still considered brand new to the federal government. I went to look at the car and it was dark, so I decided to come back two days later. Within two days, he quoted me a price that was $4,000 higher than what he quoted before. He was extremely dismissive, and was upset that I didn't purchase the car on the last day of the month. I'd caution anyone to do business with them.

Blew our engine cause they forgot to put oil back in then they put a new engine I. And used a dry rotted hose to hook the radiator back up and now it leaking it took them over a month to change the timing change just to break down the very next morning then had it another Month to put the new engine in! This place is a joke!

Happy with entire purchase process. My Hyundai Sonata Hybrid had so many recent problems and I had already put a lot of money into it when the motor malfuntioned. Just bought a car from this dealership my salesperson was Everett. I found the car on there webpage exactly how I wanted it and went to look at it. The payment was higher then what I could do. Instead of trying to change my mind Everett worked it out and got the payment down to what I wanted. Also when I test drive the car he just have me the keys and told me to go try it out he didn't ride with me which I really liked. Been happy with the car ever since and I have had it about a week.

Kelsey Cross was awesome. She helped us find the perfect car for my son in a short time period, she was professional, friendly and sweet. However, when we went to pick up the car, the problems started. I was paying cash (well, check) and expected to sign 8-10 papers and be out of there. We went late Friday and were told that they were really behind on paperwork and we would have to come back on Saturday. On Saturday we chose to go later in the day after my son was off work to ensure they would be ready. Kelsey called when we were already on our way (we live 45 mins. away) to say that they were still behind in the financial dept. and there would be a wait, could we come on Monday? I told her that wouldn't work so she suggested we go out for dinner. As we were leaving the restaurant, she called again to say that they would be unable to finish anymore paperwork that day and we would have to return the next week. So, the day we went back, I asked were the papers printed and ready to sign and was told that they were. When we got there, I signed 6 or 8 papers (some of which were totally unnecessary). She then took the paperwork to the financial office and we waited about an hour and a half for me to sign 4 or 5 more papers. So, what should have been about a 15 minute process took 3 trips and several hours of wait time. Totally ridiculous!! There were no other customers in the dealership, but there were 4 or 5 sales associates sitting around. Maybe they need to add some postiions in the financial department. I have purchased at least ten vehicles in the past and waited for financing and have never had this much trouble. I have never been asked to leave the dealership when I was trying to purchase a vehicle!! I probably would purchase another vehicle from them, but would choose the vehicle and then tell them to call me when the paperwork was printed and ready to sign!! (kelsey did at least put gas in the car since we had to make multiple trips, but I think that they should at least have paid for one of the meals we had to eat out).

Buyer beware, do not use this dealership. I was put on a contract as a cosigner, without ever giving my written or verbal consent for them to run my credit and use my information. They stated that since the person applying for the car loan showed them a text message from my cell number that gave consent to use my information - which never happened- that in turn it constituted legal consent to run my credit and put me on a legally binding contract. They obviously have no moral regard for the law, as they did not see it was necessary to even try to call me when the transaction was being handled to verify that I had in fact given permission for this person to use my information. This dealership only cares about selling cars and they don't care about the laws that go along with that process. I fully intend to pursue legal action and I would encourage people to think very hard before buying a vehicle from this dealership.

My experience with this dealership was one of professionalism at its best, John Rutledge (J R) was my sales person and greeted myself and my wife with a handshake and a smile and helped us find the vehicle that was right for us and within the payment range that was required to keep us happy. The entire staff has been very helpful with everything we have needed and J R has went out of his way to make sure that we were happy with our purchase. the service department is at the top of there game when it comes to helping the customer and ill go as far as to say that dealing with J R was like purchasing a vehicle from an old friend.

Below you can read my review on one of the salesmen there I would still recommend to avoid like the plague. How ever after reading this review they reached out to me and I gave them a second chance. I am so glad I did. After buy a car there over a year ago I figured they changed management and everything was crappy. That is so not the case I had just stumbled on one bad apple. They are an amazing dealer ship that went above and beyond to make sure I was happy they have kept me in the loop with everything from service on our other 3 cars we bring there or my new car that I found a tine imperfection on when I got home! I love my car and what is even better is Rick and Ariana have maintained me as a customer for life. I will be buying my next car in about a year from them as well as replacing our truck by years end with them! Thank you sooo much for all everyone did for us on this AMAZING team!I had the worst experience with JR of all the Hyundai dealer in a 60 mile radius. We came in twice to look at cars and the first time he basically blew us off and we left without a price of the car we where looking at. I then decided to give him a second chance and he flat out told us he would not help us unless we where buying today and told us buying customer are worth his time, because we where shopping around we where not worth the time of day. Sad thing is we would have gone and gotten our down payment if he had given us the help we wanted. When we attempted to leave he chased us down and had another persons plate from a trade in and told us this is why people come here to get deals and then started to argue with my husband.

I went to another dealership before I went to this dealership and here is the reply I got back from one of their salesman.I hope Joey at least did at little work to earn a deal...I obviously didn't make at dime for the time I spent trying to help. Not a lot I can do when people waste my time and then then go elsewhere. Enjoy the Traverse.Needless to say, I would not recommend this salesman at all. Provides potential customers answers to questions should be their job but apparently he doesnt think so his name was Jay so beware! Dont ask any questions unless you go to him!

went to dealer and had very poor service, as just pulled car up and gave no info about car and justed stated better than kia. did not follow up w/ us and sent me to another salesperson then called and gave some astronomical mnthly payment . we went to another dealer got the pymts we wantd , so we were pretty mych blown off by terry reid salespersons. they di d not want to take the time to help us. would not recomend to purchase a car from

Drove out of my way to, first, get my former 2012 Sonata serviced and have now purchased a 2014 Santa Fe from this dealership. Even though it was not the closest dealership my experience with service at the other was not the best (and service people kept changing, like a revolving door, and that's never a good sign). Have to add that my salesperson Jay Watts and the finance lady, Ariana, were fabulous. They went out of their way to accommodate and make sure that everything was as desired, even to returning an item that was forgotten in a loaner car they had given me to use before the new car was delivered and ready for pick up. When we came to pick up the car our salesperson was busy and another salesperson, Mr. Johanson (sp?) made sure that we were comfortable while we waited. Treated my granddaughter like a princess.The drive is definitely worth it. Everyone makes you feel at home and comfortable. Not an easy thing to do at a car dealership. Kudos to Terry Reid Hyundai and his staff.

Initially, I took my Lexus in for an oil change, and was delighted with the personnel.and the amenities offered in their customer lounge. A month later, my Lexus needed a service and I checked with the service department to see if they could do it for me. To my delight, they did, and I was thrilled with the timely manner in which this was completed. While Lexus offers a vehicle to use during your vehicle down time, you still have to drive there, wait for your technician (even with your appointment), and wait for a vehicle. The service is usually an all day affair, and then you drive back to pick up your vehicle. It is a hassle. At Terry Reid, my vehicle was finished in 90 minutes. I had coffee, a muffin, and caught up on emails. A very pleasant experience, and half the cost of Lexus. My car is in perfect order. I plan on taking all of the vehicles in our family to this dealership from now on.

not a good overall car buying experience. The sales person Ben is good to work with. He will do what he can to make sure your buying experience is pleasant. We communcated prior to past Saturday, I went to Cartersville even though Cherokee Hyundai is closer because of Ben. We test drove few cars and made a deal on Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. Everything felt apart after this point in my opinion. We sat, waited and waited just to sign some freaking papers. And when we finally got in the finance manager's office, we had to wait again for paperwork to be printed. I don't if they were understaffed but there was no excuse for all that waiting. I wanted to leave but honestly didn't want to start the whole car buying process all over again so we stayed. I would go else where for Hyundai.

I took the car in because of the 'check engine' light. It was diagnosed as needing an oil control valve. I rec'd a call that the part was in and called back to make an appt. When I asked for the service dept the person on the phone said they were busy and offered to help. We made an apt for that upcoming Saturday, I dropped the car off Friday night using the drop box and filled out the envelope that I put my key in and explained that is was in for warranty work as diagnosed by Terry Reid. I received a call a few hours later and the person said 'why is your car here?' I was shocked because they had done the diagnosis and I thought the information would be in their computer system. I talked it thru with them and they finally found the part THEY had ordered for my car. We hung up. About an hour later they called back and said they don't do warranty work on Saturdays and they I needed to come pick my car up and make another apt on a weekday. Obviously I was stunned and couldn't believe no one I had talked to up to this point thought of that before I had gone all the way to the dealership and spent so much time helping them figure out what they were supposed to be doing. I go pick it up, make a new apt for the following week, and re-drop the car off. I decided at this point to have them do an oil change while they had it. it was nice that I was able to get a loner car. I get a call later that day that they ordered the wrong oil control valve. my first thought is if the code the check engine light caused only tells you it's an oil control valve but not which one, and the car has 2, why don't you order both? So they kept the car an extra day to get the right valve in. I go pick it up the next day and I am told the pan for my transmission is cracked. I am really surprised because I have no fluid in my garage, driveway, or parking space at work. and they want to charge me in the area of $1,200 for the part, fluid, and labor. There is no way I'm taking the car back to that dealership for this! A couple weeks later the 'check engine' light is back on and I take the car to Cherokee Hyundai in the hopes that this dealership is competent. I drop the car off and they call me later that day and say that the car not only is severely over-filled with oil, but that the wrong oil filter is on the car. I can promise Terry Reid that not only will I never go back, I will vehemently recommend that no one takes their car there. Cherokee was awesome and they have earned my business.

Marcus Elzey was my salesman he did a fabulous job into taking care of me! He even took money out of his own pocket just to get me a coke!! And made sure that I was comfortable! Friendliness was outstanding! Everybody that works there were awesome and down to earth! I drove around for 2 months to find me the perfect vehicle I was on my way home, I had just gotten off work and it was pouring outside. I didn't expect for anybody to come outside due to the condition of the crazy weather! Marcus Elzey came outside and surprised me! He got soaked! Just to come out and welcome me! Long story short Marcus Elzey is the man! He was very friendly and I couldn't have gotten a better sales rep there is so much that I have to say but terry Reid sales rep y'all did an outstanding job and making me feel welcome instead of rushing me out like all the other dealers. You guys cared about me and took great care of me most of all thank you so much Marcus Elzey! In February 2011, I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Terry Reid Hyundai. It was the best vehicle decision I've made in a long time. The sales staff is very personable and extremely knowledgeable. I had several criteria my 'new' car needed to meet, and the staff knew immedately which cars on the lot would work for me. Three days after purchasing the vehicle, I was traveling on Interstate 75 when a large truck lost an item from its trailer and I couldn't avoid running over it. My front left tire popped immediately. I called Terry Reid Hyundai and they put me in touch with a roadside assistance service...and then they called back to make sure I was ok while waiting on the service truck. The next day I took my car to their service department where I was greeted by a friendly, professional staff. The service took no time at all, but while I was there, I sat in a comfortable waiting room, where the owner dropped in to see how I liked my car. I've never experienced that at another dealership.I've taken my car in for general maintenance a couple of times since then. Each visit has been just like the first. I'm treated very respectfully by a friendly group of honest people. I recommend Terry Reid Hyundai to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.

Sold us a used Hyundai, claiming we had 30K left on our bumper to bumper warranty, serviceable at any Hyundai dealership. Failed to give us the service record though (despite claiming this was their car released from a recent lease.) Not giving us the service records nullifies our warranty, as we learned--we have no way to actually use it. We've called and written the agent, the customer service line and the owner over a dozen times, to get them to give us the records. We got no repsonse, got the brush off each time. These guys are NOT interested in repeat business. They should have honored our request to at least honor the warranty themselves, as this was a sales point they were claiming for this vehicle. There are many honest dealerships out there--sadly, this is not one of them. STAY AWAY!

My wife and I drive from NYC to Marietta to visit family every year. In 2006, I was in need of a new car. While on a visit to the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville, we came upon the Terry Reid Kia dealership just around the corner. My sister had served with the US Army in Seoul, Korea and spoke highly of Korean culture. Besides, the Kia came with a 10 year warranty! While visiting Georgia over the holidays last month, we decided to trade in our Optima. We went back to Terry Reid because I remember being treated there quite well. This time I had my eye on the "2012 Car of the Year" Hyundai Elantra. Upon our unannounced arrival at Terry Reid Hyundai, we were recognized immediately as former customers by Claudia and treated with that Great Southern Hospitality in their new showroom! Our salesperson, Ariana Smith made us feel right at home. We test drove a the Sonata, Genesis and the Elantra. Ariana connected the Bluetooth for me and was everything one could wish for in a salesperson, no pressure, knowledgeable and trustworthy! Ben, the finance manager, had me out in a flash with a great rate too. At the last minute I said to Ariana I needed a front license plate holder in NY, she had the parts dept install one on the spot.Buying the car of the year...................smart move.Getting a great value on a trade in..........good business sense.Being treated as a loyal & valued customer...PRICELESS.Thank You Terry Reid Hyundai!!

I researched new cars and decided on a Hyundai. My husband and I visited Cherokee Hyundai in Kennesaw and although I found a car I liked, things went downhill from there. The salesman was pleasant enough and we negotiated and had approved a deal. The next day, my husband and I were on the way to purchase the car when the salesman called and said his sales manager decided they would not, in fact, make the deal we had negotiated. Needless to say, I was very disappointed and would steer anyone away from Cherokee Hyundai.I was determined to find another Hyundai dealer and made the trip to Terry Reid Hyundai in Cartersville. Your dealership puts Cherokee Hyundai to shame. As a matter of fact, your dealership sales staff was/is better than all of the different dealerships I visited in search of a new car. (and I looked at many cars before deciding on the Hyundai.) The sales staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable and made a deal work for us. My husband and I found a car and purchased it. After the car purchase, there were a few glitches. However, Terry Reid Hyundai never skirted the issue, handled the problem and I couldn't be more pleased. Terry Reid Hyundai has most certainly raised the bar on customer service to a new standard. They will go out of their way to find the Hyundai you want at the lowest possible price. Their prompt attention to problems is exemplary. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.Thanks again to Dexter, Joe, Ariana and Claudia for your patience and professionalism.

If there were one thing Id say about both Terry Reid Hyundai as well as Terry Reid KIA (ive purchased from both) its that they changed my mind on how a dealership and the "car buying experiance" can go. My husband and I visited several dealerships including those in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama; we even contacted the internet regional sales office in order to help us find the exact 2013 Hyundai Sante Fe that had all the PAC6 features and the color that we wanted in our new car. Shortly after calling Terry Reid Hyundai, we received a phone message from Ariana Smith who gave us exciting news that they had just received the car. We drove over an hour to this dealership because (1) they had the car with all the bells and whistles we required, and(2) Ariana made us feel like we had won the lottery (after all the research we had done we think we really did win the lottery!)The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating (our dog, Emma, was treated like the princess she thinks she is LOL)We bought the car on the spot and after a bit of time going thoroughly over details and writing a check, we drove away in our wonderful new car! We cannot say enough about the respectful and friendly staff. We will make the drive to Terry Reid Hyundai to get our regular service on the car because of the confidence we have that the entire staff have the skills to keep us satisfied. The courtesy, responsiveness, service and pricing provided by this dealership warrants this review. Simply stated, a textbook customer service experience.Ariana Smith, my salesperson, Dexter, the floor manager, the leasing manager and the Sales manager all displayed a personal interest in making the transaction work and work to my satisfaction. This dealer is 70 miles from my home. However, the overall experience easily justified the travel. I initially contacted 7 dealers by internet or phone, with varying degrees of responsiveness, and with Reid recommended by Consumer Reports. I also take a dealers first price as his best price, no negotiation or shopping prices. Reid simply was the best, on all counts and the transaction took 24 hours, from initial internet contact to driving the car off their lot. The car, a 2012 Genesis, has provided me a tight, comfortable and responsive ride in a well equipped and appointed interior. In short, a joy thus far.

I came onto Dealer Rater to help me choose a great dealer to buy a car from. First I went to Jim Ellis, they didn't care about me, then I went to Rick Case, same story, then I went to Cherokee Hyundai, and left within 5 minutes because of the treatment I got when I was there. Finally I decided that I would go to the one dealer that didn't hace 100+ ratings, Terry Reid Hyundai. I was greeted by a very professional and clean cut young man, Alec Martino, and a respectful Sales Manager, Joe. I told both of them exactly what I wanted, and Alec said that he had the perfect car in mind. A minute later he pulled up in a BEAUTIFUL Hyundai Genesis. It had everything that I wanted plus more! I have already recommended them to all of my friends and will continue to buy cars from them!

I purchased a new Veloster,when I got home I noticed that the front bumper cover was defective and needed to be replaced and re-painted, last thing you want done to a NEW car. I explained my concerns to the manager, he understood and located me another car exactly the same color and made everything 100% right. The outcome was great, I received a new car Like I wanted with no defects! It's great to work with a dealership that's honest and understands the customers concerns! I bought a new veloster , when I got home I noticed the front bumper cover had some damage and had to be repaired and repainted, last thing you want on a new car. The manager (Keith) located me a new car to replace the damaged one and made everything right so my new car buying experience was great like I wanted it to be. The last two cars I have bought were both Hyundais, and I purchased them from Cherokee Hyundai. I purchased them there because of the location, but I never left satisfied. I was contacted by Terry Reid Hyundai over the Internet. I explained my situation, what I was looking for, and where I wanted to be price-wise. Alec assured me that they could keep everything where I wanted it to be; so I decided to visit. Their remodel was underway, and it was a little bit dusty. Besides the dust, I was 100% satisfied with the dealer. I have never felt so respected at any other dealer. Terry Reid Hyundai really made me feel like I was working with family.

I went up to Terry Reid just to look and see what the new Hyundais were all about. Less than a minute after I arrived a young gentleman, Kenny, greeted me with a smile, eye contact and a great handshake. We went inside and he started to ask me questions about what I wanted, and what price range I wanted to be in(I wanted to be under $25k). Kenny had in mind a perfect car for me, and pulled it up. I had an appointment with a salesman to look at a used vehicle. I made the appointment because I had to drive over an hour to get to this dealership, but I had found the car there that I had been specifically looking for forever. The salesman asked me to make an appointment so he could have the vehicle cleaned and pulled up front for me, nice right? Well, as soon as I pulled up I saw the car. It was exactly what I wanted. As I looked at it a woman walked up and asked how could she helped me. I replied and told her I was here to look at this vehicle (2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe, black, premium) and she sort of had a smirk and said that one? she then asked me if I had an appointment, I said yes and gave her Keith(the salesmen's name) and she said ummm one second. She then came back out and said yeah, we just sold that car. Would you like silver instead? I was thinking seriously I drove over an hour to get here and you sell it RIGHT as I pull up. The salesman didn't even have the respect to call me and let me know that someone was even possibly going to buy it from underneath me. NO I do NOT want silver, if I did I could have drove 5 minutes down the road and buy a silver one BRAND NEW. Needless to say Terry Reid Hyundai is VERY unprofessional and will NOT receive any business from me, or anyone I know.

The salesman and the entire Terry Reid team was very helpful. We came from Dalton,GA with our financing already ready but had a lot of negative equity in our old car. We had looked at two other Hyundai dealers closer to us but felt they were not really helpful and the inventory was limited. We told the salesman what we were looking for and he showed us the perfect car. The sales manager work with us to get better financing than we had so we were able to get the car we wanted, we did not have to settle! We were originally shown a white car but my husband wanted black. It was more expensive but they lowered the price so he could get it. They gave us enough for our trade in that we were able to keep our payments right where we wanted. The finance manager was very helpful too. She made the entire process painfree. We were there until after 9pm but the entire team that stayed made us feel welcomed and made sure that we still had a great sales experience. We left with our new car cleaned and a full tank of gas. Although Terry Reid is about 45 miles from us, we plan to go back to them for any maintenance the car needs. I have already told my sister about how helpful they were and she plans to visit them in the next month to get her a new car too. We will be back the next time we are ready to purchase a new car.

I bought a 2010 used Dodge Challenger which I traded a perfect no flaws 2006 Corvette for. For the trade I was offered 5000.00 below value for my car. I took the challenger for a test drive and everything seemed ok on the overcast day? I looked over the body and from what I saw everything looked ok. The salesman had told me about the options on the car while test driving. One of these wast the phone connect on the radio for hands free calling. We made the trade even though the money was $5000.00 under where it should be. I got the car home and then the sun came out. The paint on the front was rock chipped badly, the phone connect was not on this vehicle, the aftermarket cool air intake was not on as told. I tried to contact but they would not return any of my requests to follow up on the issues. I contacted the BBB and they contacted, nothing was resolved here either. All I want to do is help others not to make the same mistake and purchase from Terry Reid Hyundai. Unfortunately this is a Buyer Beware type Dealership and I would hate to see anyone else have to go through this as I have had to do. I will tell everyone I know of the lack of ethics as a dealership that has been exhibited by this company. No one should have to feel as if they were taken or their trust violated.In my 50 years of buying I have never felt that I was taken for a ride buying a car.....I cannot say that anymore now. I will never purchase from these people or anything associated with this dealership again. I will also spread the word of how my situation was handled by the owners son Matt.

I went there expecting to have a hard time haggling, but was surprised by the easiness of their process. I spent probably a total of 1 hour in their location, and was out of there in my ne. AND pre-owned Elantra. They have a great sales staff, and really want your business. Highly recommended!!! WELL WORTH THE DRIVE!!!

In all my years I have never been treated so badly! Accused of playing games and not answering their calls. Told me they did not want to do business with me and I'm assuming that was because another dealer could beat their price. I left this dealership in tears... Extremely insulting. NEVER again would I shop here. I did end up buying from Ed Voyles.
