I had a great experience with Dustin at Gresham Honda. He was very communicative with me and met all of my needs with grace and ease. I needed to limit my trips to the dealership, so Dustin accommodated me by doing most of the paperwork prior to my arrival. When I came to the dealership to pick up the car, he had everything prepared so the process of purchasing the car was fairly quick and easy. I never felt rushed through the process, and he took his time in showing me all of the car features and making sure all my questions were answered. Dustin also had excellent follow ups. I also had an excellent experience with Tanner, who handled the financing. A great team all around with excellent customer service!

We had a great experience purchasing a hybrid from Tony! We felt like we got a great price and value for what we purchased - and the process was quick and easy. Update: Now we’ve purchased a second car from Gresham Honda, a new Odyssey, and had another great experience! This time we were helped by Robert and he was able to get us the vehicle in the exact color we wanted (they found one in Tacoma and drove it down), then was very quick and courteous with our time once we decided to start the buying process. He was also very knowledgeable about the vehicle, which I appreciated because I asked a million questions comparing the Odyssey to the ‘16 Pilot we were trading in since they were the same trim level. Bottom line, it was another 5 star experience.

I don’t like buying cars and I don’t like doing reviews, but I I had the very best buying experience today with Dustin at Tonkin... it was good enough for me to do a review! Dustin is fun, funny, relaxed, low pressure, thoughtful, and personal. He went out of his way to make buying a car not suck, and I would actually even say I had fun! He gave us options, without being a “high pressure sales guy,” he asked thoughtful questions, and he made sure we were 100% happy and had all our questions answered. I would send anyone I care about to Dustin. If you need a car, go to him. Tanner helped with the money part and he was great too! Really nice guys.

Give Tanner a raise!! I came in taking an anti-anxiety cocktail in a pill from my last car buying experience in 12 years ago. I still suffer PTSD from it ; ) . No BS, the truecar price was the price and it was under bluebook. So no haggling. Said paying cash upfront - no upsell of interest rate loans. Just an all out nice PDX dude, who even let me drive it all the way from Gresham to my mechanic in Sellwood. Genuine and with the advancements of technology, have to say its not as harrowing as days of yesteryore. That being said my first car out of college was a Honda Civic, most reliable car I've owned. Stepped from my Subaru Outback with the blown head gaskets (x2) to a loaded, used, low mileage CRV. Back to reliability with the AWD made for the NW.

This is the fourth new vehicle that we have purchased from Gresham Honda. There is a reason that we keep going back, and that is the outstanding customer service. I struggled with the idea of turning in my 2010 Accord for a newer model. The staff was patient and answered numerous questions and concerns. I was able to also obtain a lesser interest rate and a 4V engine instead of a V6 to save money on fuel. It's been two weeks and am adjusting well and really happy with my new V4 Accord. I love the key less entry and advanced system for communicating hands free when I'm driving. My parents also owned Hondas and are great reliable cars with little needed maintenance. The service department has also been helpful with my other vehicles and not just my Accord. Thank you for your partnership and service.

Buying my 2016 CRV Touring from Andre Ozdemir was the best car buying experience my husband and I have had. He was professional, courteous and low pressure. Andre clearly communicated all aspects of the deal up front during our negotiations. We looked at dealers from Seattle all the way down to Kalamath Falls and Bend to McMinnville and by far, Mr. Ozdemir at Gresham Honda was the best! He gave us the best deal with no run-around. The dealer did not have the car in stock that we wanted and instead of pressuring us to buy an in stock color, he worked with us to get the silver CRV we were interested in buying. In fact, he was able to get us the car on the same day from a different dealership. Finally, my husband does not like dealing with salespeople--ever. I have never seen my husband interact so well with a dealer. Most of that can be attributed to Andre's honesty and openness. Hands down, we both highly recommend Andre Ozdemir and the team at Ron Tonkin Gresham Honda.

Cheri Sallie is an extremely competent, warm and knowledgeable sales person. I had mentioned that I was interested in an older Jeep Wrangler and to keep an eye out for me. Some weeks later, she called to tell me they had one. Even though it wasn't a Honda, she remembered me and I ended up returning and purchasing my Wrangler from her. She is very personable, and I will definitely purchase my next vehicle from her. She goes out of her way for her clients, whether you are purchasing a new or used car.

John and Scott were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and willing to work a deal that was comfortable for my budget. I ended up with a beautiful car, a great payment, and no buyers remorse whatsoever. I wanted to take my Tonkin Teddy bear and sleep in the car the first night, but my girlfriend said NO!!!! This dealership lied to me. They told me I was approved for a trail blazer then I was called and told the bank didn't want me in the trailblazer because of high miles on the SUV. I was told they had two cars I could choose from. I test drove both they both made noises. I almost walked away. I should have. They told me they would fix the noise. Then they put in writing they would fix it. The car is a 2000 Subaru impreza. I was told on the test drive it was 5000 which is above its worth but I accepted that fact being that I was at a dealership. They sped through the paperwork flipping papers and having me sign without giving me time to read anything. I should have stopped them and taken more time. Then once I review the paperwork in my new unwanted car instead of the nice larger newer SUV. I found out that the price of the Subaru was raised to 8777.00. I went back and asked to have them Explain why the price was changed without telling me. He said because I had in house loan there were fees and charges that raise the worth of the car to them. So they have to sell it at a high rate. Problem here is that no one told me that. It took my rereading the paperwork 7 times to understand that I was over charged and I didn't realize how much I was over charged until this morning. This all starter with the trailblazer on Monday. No one returned any calls while I had the SUV until they called to tell me I needed to bring it back yesterday. I felt used. I felt like I needed to bring a lawyer with me to buy a car. They knew this was my first time buying. They know I don't make enough to really be doing this. I'm a young mother and they took advantage of me. For that they are wrong. I would never recommend this company.

We are absolutely disappointed in the service we received from Tonkin Gresham Honda when my husband and I bought our 2012 Chevrolet Traverse from them in December of 2015.We met with Ben who was our salesmen, he was very nice and worked hard to help us get into this vehicle that suited our needs. Here is where everything took a turn and everyone dropped the ball... My husband and I were trading in a vehicle, we stressed to Ben that it was very important we make sure that the existing loan is paid off before the 17th which happened to be the following week, otherwise we would not be buying the vehicle. We asked if we could get this in writing, he explained that they could not do that however stressed that they do not want to keep our trade in and will want to sell it as soon as possible and in order for them to put it on the market the existing loan would have to be paid off.Well...we get a call from the bank a few weeks later stating that we are late on our payment and now have a late payment on our record. I was absolutely furious! I called Eddie who is in the finance department of Tonkin Gresham Honda and helped us sign all of the paperwork. I explained what happened and that we needed this to be fixed immediately. Eddie said that Ben never told him about it and that he would speak with him first thing when he got in the next day and would call the bank to speak with them on our behalf and then call us to follow up.Eddie never called me, never called the bank and never spoke to Ben. I had to call him to find out what the update was, he said that he was trying to get a hold of the bank that our new loan was through to see when they would be sending the check and that he hadn't spoke with Ben yet (even though he was going to speak to him first thing when he got in that day and was supposed to speak with our bank to try and get the late payment on our record fixed. "Banks are good about talking to us, they understand these situations" Eddie's words to me!). This story went on for a few days, we had to call Eddie most of the time to get an update and still nobody told us anything until we received a letter from our past loan stating that it had been fully paid off.Now jump ahead a couple of months 2/2/16 I receive a letter in the mail from Gresham Honda stating that the remaining balance on our previous loan hadn't been paid for yet and that it would be going into collections if it wasn't paid by the 8th and also that we should have received a first letter stating the owing balance...Are you kidding me!!!!!Guess what, no we did not! We never received any letter from anyone stating we still owed any balance otherwise we would have paid that balance. So first they screw us by putting a late payment on our record causing our credit scores to get hit, but then they send us a letter threatening to take us to collections. We are disgusted with this dealership and the people we have had to deal with. Interesting fact, Tonkin Gresham Honda decided to put our previous vehicle on the market when the loan on it hadn't been paid off yet. By law a dealership is NOT allowed to do this as they did NOT even have the title to the car yet. We looked up the laws on it and sure enough they could have gotten into a lot of trouble for that.We are not the kind of people to want to get nasty, we just wanted what was promised to us. We were given false promises and were taken care of very poorly. I feel that it would be only fair for Tonkin Gresham Honda to do something to make piece with us as THEIR customer to make us a happy customer, considering all of the screw ups they have caused.Such a disappointment...

The one whom earn the most respect and admiration is Craig M in financial division. Mike made impression for this dealer ethical. Having walked out of a Tonkin dealership years ago I was reluctant to go back. However, the Salesman was great and I though maybe these guys have changed. But then comes finance and the closer and nothing has changed at the Tonkin Group. To get the price down to my target range they switch cars and out comes a 2015 demonstrator with 5,000 miles and 2 prices, "one today" and one for tomorrow. Sadly the "today" price was higher than the price of a new model on the lot - these guys think all customers are stupid and if they flash enough numbers in front of them and run to the back office enough times they will accept anything. And if you are looking for the Costco pricing don't think you will get any better treatment from these folksAdvice - don't go to Tonkin!

Hi,I Bought Honda CRV from them, once sale deed is done they change their colors, my Car was supposed to come with All weather door mats and cargo tray which they say is out of stock and can get them after 2 days, when i asked to if they can take from the existing stock and replace it once the spare store opens, they denied and were very rude in replying the same(especially the sales manager).And the odometer ran 255 miles already where as the DMV and other Documents they quoted it ran only 11 miles , when asked its about they say its a mistake and they cannot do anything about it.Only good thing we found was Jared and Branden Rhodes, the sales team they were very friendly and patient till the whole deal is done.

This dealership lacks real customer service. From day one all they wanted was to sell. I now have a car I don't like because Gresham Honda forced me into something after a previous deal didn't work. Instead of helping my fiance and me , they made us buy a car we didn't want. They pinned us to a deal or they would force a previously bad deal thro if we didn't agree, no matter what! I have audio of this. I will fully disclose who not to deal with at Greasham Honda, they are: Ben, Eddie, Jim. More if needed. Furthermore, I will NEVER recommend your dealership for the rest of my life!!!!! I will always tell my experience with all people, I work with lots of influential people in entertainment. If you're ever car hunting in Portland, I'd stay away from Gresham Tonkin Honda5 days after buying my new car from them, and one three hour drive to Bend later, I learned the transmission is basically shot and needs to be replaced. The Ford dealer I took the car to over in Bend has been amazing (Robberson Ford), and I had to leave it with them as the chances of making it back to PDX were basically nil. Honda's response to this fiasco I was sold? As I didn't buy the extended warranty, I was on my own and SOL. Per the management, it doesn't matter if the problem happened a day later or six years: no warranty, not their problem.Three truths I've learned: Yes, I have no legal leg to stand on, and yes, I didn't buy the extended warranty. And yes, expecting decent humanity from this place's management was too much.

We took my daughter's car in for warranty work, which was a recall for bad paint that oxidized on hood and trunk. Geoff called my daughter and told her it would cost $1700 to do the work. I had to call service manager to get work done under warranty. Geoff said the car would be ready in 7 days. He never called to update us that the car wouldn't be ready for 10 days. My daughter called Geoff 3 times and he never returned any calls or kept us up to date about what was happening or why there was a delay. I had to drive to the body shop on 122nd and talk to the manager there to find out specifics. We went again to pick up car in Gresham on 10th day and the car was finished but had never been brought back to Gresham......another 1 hr. and 45 min. Wait! Geoff is incompetent and inconsiderate. I would never again do business with Gresham Honda.

When I told him what I was looking for and why...he listened and did not try to push any "extras" that I explained were not required. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! THIS STORE HAS NO INTEGRITY AND IS DISHONEST.Shopping at Gresham Honda is a horrible experience. Three days after purchasing a CRV, they called and said we had to pay another $500. We had been driving the car, paperwork was complete but they said that an agreed upon discount did not apply. It was their mistake. They said they were sorry but needed more money. We were furious but wanted to distance ourselves from these crooks. If it were not for the mess that the paperwork was in, a pending loan, title changes, we would have returned the car. We were so very disgusted, that we coughed up the money in order to get out of there before we did something inappropriate. They make me sick.The problem was their error and they should have eaten the cost or at least offered some compensation. My regret is that in the heat of the emotion, we gave in to these disreputable practices!DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR LIES!

Went in to have service of our CR-V breaks with their July 20% Wednesday discount. What happened was they ran the bill up to where we really did not get any savings. Will we return, I don't think so. The next time we need service we will do alot more shopping before going to the dealer.As a result, I put my husband in the Hospital with a stroke because he was so upset with them on the phone. Hi, I refuse to buy from this dealership due to one person only. Don Roessel. In my 25 years of buying new and used vehicles I have never met anybody as rude as him. I feel as though people in this industry should remain professional and courtesy at all times. I simply asked about a particular used truck they had on the lot and questioned the price of it since it was listed above the actual KBB retail price. I never paid full retail price ever. Toyota or not ! Nor should anybody else. Don Roessel made a rude remark about thanking me for pointing this out and that the truck will be priced higher the next day. He mentioned he can ask and get away with higher prices. For this dealer to have someone like him to represent them is a total shame. I understand this is a for-profit business here, however integrity and boundaries must still be met. Way too many dealers with good quality service and exceptional courtesy to have to deal with someone like that. Now I want to point out, I am not against all Ron Tonkin dealers. We have bought 2 new cars from Tonkin Toyota along with a used one there within 3 years. My daughter has bought 2 new Kia's at Tonkin Kia within 3 years. I have bought 2 used trucks from the Chevy as well as the kia lot. So if you desire to buy from Tonkin Greasham Honda just stay away from Don. He will want you to pay more than the vehicle is actually worth. This may have been a one time thing here, But sometimes it only takes one time.....

I traded in my Honda for another used Honda. I worked with Don Roessel, the Internet Sales Director. He gave me a fair price on my trade-in and was great to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable about the car I was interested in and took the time to explain every feature to me. Also, Paul is the first finance manager I have ever dealt with who actually made the experience of signing dozens of documents enjoyable. He was easygoing and helpful. The whole transaction from sales to financing was very easy and pleasant. They are a great team and I will definitely go back for my next car even though it's a long drive from where I live. This is the first time I have done business with Ron Tonkin Gresham Honda in Troutdale and I am glad that I did. I highly recommend them!

I began doing an internet search using my credit union (USAA) car buying service for a Honda S2000 and found a number of them listed in the greater Northwest. I contacted each of the dealers via the internet letting them know of my interest in each of the vehicles. Randy instantly contacted me via email and a follow-up phone call. His response and friendly attitude really perked my interest and I decided to give this specific dealership a second look after contacting my credit union and finalizing payment / insurance requirements. My wife and I made an appointment with Randy to test drive the 2008 Honda S2000. Upon arrival, the employees made both us feel right at home. After test driving the S2K we decided to purchase it. There wasn't any haggling of price or pressure to buy what so ever. We completed the entire deal in about 2 hours, and were on our way home with a new - used car. The experience we encounter was excellent, the entire process went better than I've ever encounter when buying a New or Used car. I contribute that experience to Randy's friendly and professional attitude and character.

After having been assured about the perfect mechanical conditions of the car and less than a week after the purchase and noticing issues with the vehicle, I contacted the dealership to notify them about a noise from the axle, the sales manager refused any offer of service and blatantly kept mentioning that the assurances offered by the sales people were not in writing and that he would not acknowledge the verbal promises about the vehicle's condition provided by his sales people. He pretty much called me a liar and refused post sale service of any kind! I'd definitely not recommend these people for any future purchases. Buyer be aware!!!

I always request to speak to the Fleet manager when making a dealer purchase and Don Roessel was more than happy to help! I was presented with great deals on what I needed and fair (no BS) financing. Every aspect of the deal was handled swiftly and the entire staff was very friendly and always professional. Today I came into the service department for an oil change on my van. Since I bought the van, this is the only dealership/department that has serviced it. After my service was completed, the service associate told me a long list of things that were needing to be done on my vehicle urgently. The first thing he addresses is my tire tread. Apparently the tread was significantly worn and that it was dire that I have them rotated to preserve the life of the tires. One problem...we just put four brand new tires on two weeks ago. I pointed this out to him and he blurted, "Oh, I guess there must be some wear than". He than continued to tell me how every fluid in the vehicle was very dirty and needed to be changed, the oil was so low that there was no oil on the dipstick, and that the battery cable needed to be replaced. He also said my rear brakes were VERY low and in danger of damaging the disks and that they could do it "RIGHT NOW". I turned his recommendations down and stepped aside while he helped another customer check out. To my horror, the associate than proceeded to tell the man (almost verbatim) that he had the same problem with his tires. The customer laughed at him and informed him that was impossible because he just had the tires replaced less than a month ago.First, after the blatent fib about the tires- how am I supposed to believe any of the other recommendations that he makes? Second, if all of the fluids are in such horrid state, the brakes are paper thin and the battery cable has sat in such corrosion for so long as to need the entire cable replaced, why hasn't any of this shown up during the last oil change inspection 3,000 miles ago? The last oil change (performed by the same department/dealership)mentioned none of this(green checks down the inspection list- except tires, which we obviously replaced).I have always preferred to use dealership service departments in the past...Not anymore.

Our salesperson patiently explained every button on the car we found on the internet and it's many features. We had never driven or considered a Honda but we were impressed with the car and the no pressure to buy approach of our sales person helped us make our decision. A sentence such as 'this car won't last long' never entered the conversation. We drove home with our "almost new" car and no regrets about our decision.

The dealership put a lot of pressure on me to buy the same day. When I found a car I liked and went to my bank I found out they had marked the car up so high that the bank would not finance it at the price they were charging. When I called them to tell them this the finance manager got impatient and said I just didn't want to spend the money. He also said "Nobody uses NADA to price cars"-even though I had just explained to him that my bank does. I purchased a car from another dealership two days later and it was priced within the NADA price with a reasonable mark up. I understand the dealership has to make money, but they shouldn't get angry with you when you catch them trying to rip you off. I will definitely tell my friends and colleague to stay away!

Last night we purchased another vehicle (our fourth since 2004)from Tonken Gresham Honda. This one was a used Tahoe. This was the third or fourth dealership we checked looking for an SUV. It was the end of the night and everyone still took the time to be helpful in getting us a good deal on the vehicle we wanted. The papwork was quick and thorough. Our search for a good use car was promted by the fact that our faithful Honda had been totaled in an accident the month previous. From the moment we alerted the agency of our interest in seeing a particular car, the good experience began with Jim making contact with us. He offered to bring the car out for us to see as we lived a distance from the agency. But we decided to make the drive out. On arrival at the agency we were greeted warmly and directed to Jim. After some introductory remarks, Jim soon introduced us to Mark whom was thought to be a good fit for us. The car that we had asked to see was waiting for us as well as an other car which was thought to be a good fit for our needs also. Mark was very thorough and patient with us as we considered the pros and cons of the 2 cars and during process of decision since we had a very restricted budget guideline. To help in the decison BJ offered for us to take the car home for a test drive. This was very heelpful. the next morning we returned with the desire to purchase the car and the whole team there at Grshman Honda worked well with us to make that happen. We are very grateful. What a wonderful ending to a horrible accident experience.

It was easy to make an appointment at a convenient time. I was met by Mark with a smile and greeting after which we did the necessary paper work. We discussed expectations for the vehicle to be ready, agreed on a time and a phone call to be certain it was ready before I went to pick it up. My Insight's rear right window seal had come loose and was waving in the wind. I called Gresham Honda, Geoff answered, and I asked if I could swing by to see what needed to be done. He said yes, so off I went.I arrived and Geoff popped out as soon as I pulled up. He looked at it, then asked Shane to look at it to see what needed to be done.Shane looked at it, said he could fix it. I said, how 'bout today? We chatted for a sec about when I could come back, it'd have to be in the afternoon, ...(everyone hates coming back right?) and then Shane pulled out his screwdriver, loosened a screw, put the whole thing back in and said "there you go!" From the moment we entered the lot the service was great, Josh Dawson was helpful, undemanding, knowledgeable and understanding of our needs. He patiently took us through our options and waited while we discussed which direction we wanted to go. At critical stages he graciously removed himself from the conversation to give us some privacy and we never felt pressured to give an answer. When the time came for the negotiations Josh handed us off to Jeremy but stayed in the group and joined in the conversation if necessary. Jeremy Baumgartner handled the negotiations professionally and without drama. He spelled out the different options, waited for our response and at no time did we feel pressured to "hurry up and make a decision". As usual, great service, friendly and professional staff, comfortable waiting room. The only glitch was discovering, on the way home, that my hood hadn't been closed and latched properly - eeek! - but it all ended well (hence, the "good" instead of "great" for quality of work). It was a small error, and the only one I've ever had anyone at Tonkin Gresham Honda make. The service department there always makes it easy and always makes it a comfortable experience. I absolutely recommend them.

I LOVE THIS DEALER. I have been to many dealerships on my search for a great used vehicle. This dealer was able to get me in a car that I love and get my interest rate lower than my last interest rate. Randy the sales guy was very easy to work with and understood what obsticals I faced with financing. It was no pressure and instead of getting me into a vehicle they wanted for me (like most dealers I went to) he listened to my needs and let me choose something withing my means and that I love. My trade in was quite a wreck but as I laid out all the issues on the vehicle they were still able to help me. I was actually shocked. What I got from other dealers was no where near comparable. Jim was great with assisting me on the finance part. I was not intimidated nor had the fear of rejection. In fact, it turned out that my monthly payment turned out lower than what was anticipated on the first presentation. Jeremy was very well organized and finalized the deal quickly and with confidence. I have to tell you that I have no buyers remorse and got a car that I LOVE. Jim, Randy and Jeremy got a customer for life. It was a shock that they were actually "nice" and really listened and didn't pressure me. This was a rare experience that I have never had before when purchasing a car. I highly recommend this dealer to ANYONE buying a new or used vehicle. I cannot thank them enough for getting me in a safe and classy vehicle and something I love.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience buying my new 2011 Honda Accord Crosstour at Gresham Honda. I, like most people, get anxiety at the thought of dealing with car dealers. I was ready to buy my new car and ready to battle with the dealer. I had originally tried a large HONDA dealer close to home in BEAVERTON (won't mention names, but you can figure it out!) but received the typical pushy salesmen who had little knowledge of the car they were trying to sell me! I decided to try Gresham Honda and I'm so glad I did. Jeremy Kuum is an outstanding sales manager. He was friendly and incredibly knowledgable about not only Honda but every vehicle we mentioned. I was never pressured or pushed. I felt completely confident and in power of my decisions and the negotiations were smooth and fair. They did not have the specific car I wanted (color, features, etc) in stock but quickly found one in the State and had it driven to the shop that night! When I returned to pick up the car, Jeremy spent time walking me through all of the features and made sure I understood them before leaving. My parents, who have purchased many new cars in their lifetime, were with me during the purchasing process and said they had never had a better experience. I would highly recommend Gresham Honda, and specifically Jeremy Kuum, for your next car purchase!

We attended the Portland Auto Show last weekend looking for a new car with good gas mileage and looked at Kia, Ford, Chevy, Hyundai, Nissan, Mazda, Suburu in addition to Honda. There were alot of vehicles and alot of pricing/mileage information to keep track of. From the beginning, we were blown away by the exceptional professionalim of Mr. Scott Wildman. Mr. Wildman was the only sales consultant that, during the course of the day, kept checking back with us, not to pressure but to see if he could answer any questions. His product knowledge and friendly, low key approach made us keep returning to the Honda booths. While the Honda was initially not our first choice, Mr. Wildman was key in making it our final selection and we absolutely love our new Honda Fit!! Also, Josh Jindrich, your finance specialist, was excellent, as well. Eddie and Jim turned a bad situation and a disappointed, grumpy customer into a win-win and a happy customer. They are professional, knowledgable, honest, courteous, patient and not pushy. Buying a car is not my favorite activity, but these guys made it a pleasurable experience. I will be a repeat customer. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

We went to Gresham Honda to buy a new 2011 CR-v. When we arrived we were greeted and helped very quickly by Jeremy. He asked what we were looking for and took us right to the CRVs. Unfortunately, they didn't have one with all the features and color I wanted so they went and found one in another city (Spokane) and had it delivered on a truck to the dealership. When they finished adding the extra accessories I wanted, which they did in a very timely manner, they polished washed and waxed the car put it in the showroom on the floor with a giant red bow because it was my birthday. Jeremy then took us inside the car and went over all the features and accessories and how everything worked. Everyone was very helpful and made it a great experience and even better birthday. And i absolutely love my CR-V.

I have purchased, as of yesterday, my 7th Honda from Gresham Honda. That should say it all!! If you want to be treated like royalty, no matter what kind of car you buy, go to Gresham Honda! I have bought 6 new cars from a Fit to an Accord and 1 used Accord from Gresham Honda and have always been completely satisfied with my experience. I always begin with calling Jim Benbrook, he is always eager to help me and makes me a deal I can't refuse!! Even if I call or email and he is not available right then, he will have a salesman call me, so I am never left hanging!! Then this time I met Randy Mudica, who was very friendly and helped me thru the initial paperwork like a pro! Once I get to the dealership, out comes the red carpet!! The general manager, Scott Sidell, always comes down to see me and make sure every one is taking care of me! Randy then took me on some test drives and I decided on which one I wanted. Then Josh Jindrich in finance takes over and he is so knowledgeable and quick with his paperwork!! Within 2 hours I was driving out in my new car! I haven't met an employee there that I didn't like! They also are a kid friendly place. I took my little 3 yr old son and he got to play in their play room, as a mom this is a plus! Plus I always get a big hug from Scott and Jim, like I am family, before I leave! Can't beat that!! In days gone by, before using Gresham Honda, I had spent ALL day working a car deal....not any more! I HIGHLY recommend going to Gresham Honda if you want the BEST deal in town! I LOVE THOSE GUYS!!

I have been taking my Honda's to this Dealership for the past 16 years. They have always been really friendly and honest about the maintenance that is required on my car. They have even worked with me so I could get the most for my money when several thing needed to be done and I was on a limited budget. I recommend them to my friends who have all been very satisfied.

I posed special problems for Tonkin Gresham Honda because I was working from far away: I live in Anchorage and could not personally meet anyone at the dealership until my wife and I arrived to pick up the car. Never mind the difficulties -- they made it easy. They helped with all the paperwork details, answered my questions fully and promptly, and walked me through the entire process at a distance. Mark Morris and the rest of the team always did exactly what they promised and more -- Mark even picked us up at the airport and drove us to the dealership when we arrived. The whole process could not have been more pleasant or efficient; I recommend this dealership heartily. I also love the vehicle.

Negotiate price but didn't want accessories that dealer insisted were installed at port. Example: etching of glass for theft protection, decor package, weather protection package, door protective edge. Note: No other Honda dealer condones this practice. Deposit given because of USAA pricing but selected car was supposedly sold after deposit give. Saleman let it slip that our selection was never on the lot to begin with and they were sorry for all the confusion. We were then told our second choice was now available but located north of Seattle (?). Problem now was this car had more accessories that we didn't want but were assured by the General Manager that we wouldn't be charge for them. Then we asked for the sales inventory and cost sheet from the dealer to arrange payment and the accessories we were told we wouldn't be charged for were listed. What had happen was some of the items on the original car weren't on this car but the price was the same. Just a little bait and switch, yes, the General Manager thought he was doing me a favor and told me so when he said he wasn't charging me $350 to have two drivers go pick up the car. This General Manager didn't stop here he even tried to play my wife against me but soon realized that was a lost cause when she wasn't the one purchasing the car. Normally buying a car is an interesting experiencing and I have bought three Acura's and five Honda's for my family, but this is the first and last time I'll use any of Ron Tonkin Auto Group services, New, Used, or Service.

First time buying a new car here. I came down from Seattle to help my little sister buy a new car a few weekends ago and trade her older Chrysler in. We were ready for a difficult day, but it turned out much different. Several hours later we drove away in a 2010 Honda Civic LX, not stressful at all. We recommend Scott our salesman knowledgable about Hondas and very personable. Jeremy the sales manager negotiated fairly; make sure to bring your research with you. Josh the finance manager easy to work with. Our overall experience was excellent at this dealership and I would recommend them to any of my friends or family. I can't believe it but I even wrote a letter to the GM because I was so impressed with the service we received. In addition, my sister needed to bring her new car back to receive tinted windows this past week and Josh in finance made all the arrangements for her accommodating her difficult work schedule. So nice to know that my sister will be taken care of. Thanks Ron Tonkin for hiring good people.

We drove 100 miles from out of town to pick up a Honda we had ordered from Ron Tonkin Honda. We had secured financing through our bank, and had a check ready to deliver and sign. When we arrived the sales manager dropped a credit application in front of us and said we needed to fill it out because of 9/11. We filled out our name, address, and license numbers, but refused to fill out financial information or sign the form, as it clearly said that by signing it we would be applying for credit. After refusing to sign they left us in the waiting area for an hour and a half before finalizing the purchase. Their treatment of us was rude, especially considering the time spent getting to the dealership and that we had a check ready for them.Avoid Ron Tonkin.

My fiance and I were in the market for a Honda Fit. We called several dealers, and found one (Capitol Honda in McMinnville) who said they'd charge us $500 over MSRP. We were okay with that since the cars are new, and popular. We had to wait a month for the car to arrive. Before it did they called and said we could only get the automatic ($800 or so more). We decided to call other dealers to see if we could get what we wanted. We made sure to grill all the dealers we called about any "extras" that they weren't including in the original quotes, and Tonkin Gresham said nothing. In fact they said they'd only charge MSRP, but also that they only had the automatic. $300 more is better than $800 more so we cancelled our other order, and went with them. When we went in they insisted we had to pay exhorbitant prices for "options" that weren't optional. Also they tacked on $450 of unnecessary anti-theft insurance, also not "optional." Sum total the price came in at about $1500 above MSRP. When we realized we were straight out lied to, we complained to the sales manager, Dennis Graham. He got so defensive that he actually began yelling at us. It was the most unprofessional, and dishonest behavior I'd ever experienced. My fiance was nearly in tears. If you want to be lied to and get yelled at then Tonkin Gresham Honda is the place to go. If you want to buy a car AVOID TONKIN GRESHAM HONDA like the plague! They were terrible!

My parents bought a used car here, And albert helped them in a way that no other dealership has even come close to. <br><br>Albert did not hassle them one bit, He took theyr information over the internet and called them up and told them to come on down,<br><br>So they did, and albert showed them a list of vehicles that they are approved on, My parents picked the ride they wanted, and albert kept the payments and down payment Low where my parents asked them too.<br><br>The very next day my brother inlaw went into the dealership with me and bought a new(1 year old) used truck, and got the same FRIENDLY proffessional expieriance!!!<br><br>I would reccomend this dealership to ANYBODY in the portland area,<br>Especialy people with horrible credit! you truely dont have to pay 5 grand down at 600 a month for a used car!! <br><br>
