I decided to upgrade to a Volkswagen on Friday August 6, 2021 and ended up leaving due to not being addressed. I sat there for more than 50 minutes only to be asked of I needed water. I assumed everyone at a table was being serviced and handling business only to find out they all work there. Everyone was talking amongst each other or too busy to assist with sales. After about an hour of waiting I left to go buy a car elsewhere. I do not recommend this location or this sales team. They pick and choose who to service. They do not possess the aloha spirit.

We went in to check out the SUVs knowing they had pretty good inventory compared to other dealers. I was ready to walk out with a new car that day. But after sitting there for one hour, I had enough. The only person that even spoke to us was a guy that offered us water, which may have only been because he was getting his current client water. If the staff was so busy, acknowledgement would have been enough, but even after walking through the door, we weren’t even greeted. People kept passing us by as if we were non-existent. It’s too bad. I left and bought a BMW instead.

So here I'm driving my Atlas on H2 in a daylight and before I know I see a giant metal panel coming from under the vehicle right ahead of me. I did not have a chance to react so it stroke the lower portion of my bumper and hit the undercarriage as well. I was a little concerned so decided to find a safe spot to stop and look under the bumper to see with my own eyes what I have there. Sure enough oil was dripping everywhere. Before I even had a solid plan in my head what I'm going to do with this I was already driving toward Tony Volkswagen. To make this picture even more sarcastic, about two weeks prior to this I had a minor foot surgery so I had a cast and a set of crutches with me when I showed at the service desk. Aaron, my man, I'm so glad you were able to accommodate me and bring my vehicle into the shop instantly and replace the punctured oil sump on the engine. Even I was surprised how much this place was willing to flex in order to help me.

I was upfront with the dealership about my Bad Credit. And I also let them know the type of Vehicle I was looking for. If I could give Dennis a million stars I would. He truly deserves every star because he's one in a million. My review is truthful and I didn't even walk out with a car. Recently, my tribe (3 kids) and I went to look for a "family car" and I'm so glad that we had Dennis guiding us every step of the way. Before even meeting Dennis, I talked to him on the phone and told him my situation. I explained that I was not doing well (credit wise) and that if he thinks that I don't have a chance to just let me know, as I don't want to waste his time. He said, no come in and we will see what we can do. Dennis already knew that I could be a potential waste of time, but he still took the time to get to know us. He never tried to pass us off to someone else or leave us in the lot because we weren't the Class A buyer. Tony group truly has a gem and it will be people like Dennis, who will keep them in business. He doesn't treat you like a customer, he treats you like family. He is the true meaning of ALOHA. When my situation gets better or like I told him, when I win a million dollars, I will go see him. I won't even negotiate on a price because I hope he gets every commission penny he can because he deserves it. So if you want a personalized, honest, and over the top car buying experience, go see Dennis. I promise you, he is the BEST!!!

After talking about getting a car for so long, knowing our credit wasn't all that great and our financial status...we walked in as first time buyers just to "see" what our options were and we left with a 2015 Jeep Compass!! Dennis Paulino helped us find a great family size car that would not only be perfect for our family of 4 but also a reasonable price where the monthly payments stayed within our budget. He didn't push us into buying the very first car we looked at..in fact he made us take our time, helped us explore a little, and made sure that the car we chose and took out for a test drive was a car we could actually see ourselves owning and loving. He was extremely patient with us and went out of his way to help us get the best deal we could- and we did!! Mr. Paul Lancaster was our finance guy - he tied all our paper work together and amazingly got us approved with lower monthly payments and even included very important coverage on our car! The process was kind of long but let us tell you....it was worth every hour!!! (lol). We highly recommend coming here and seeing Dennis and Paul Lancaster for first time buyers with low credit and on a budget!!!!

First time buyer with low credit and the dealers were able to approve me for a great Honda Civic LX and I gave my monthly budget and they were able to get it way lower. Paul Lancaster went through the paper documents thoroughly and worked hard to get me approved for a lower interest rate. Kevin Punzalan was very accommodating and referred me to reasonable cars for my budget and talked me through the specs of each car that I test drove.

The salesmen there are really helpful. They don't urge u to buy something immediately when they see u drive in. They really car about what kind of vehicle you want to leave and in give their own opinions about what they think u should do or what your best option is. Plus they literally get u the best rate they could with your credit score you have. I highly recommend coming here.

I originally came to do a test drive, and I was sold on the car from the moment I drove it. Denis and Paul were helpful from the first moment I walked in the door. Being that I am so young with no credit history they were searching hard for the best deal and even when they found a lender willing to give the loan they still searched and got me an even better lender who gave me a interest rate of 5.99% (which is unheard of with first time buyers) they worked to give me the best deal possible and helped me to leave that day with the car I wanted.

I found the car I wanted on the Tony Volkswagen website, came in, test drove the car, did the paperwork, and drove it home that day (even though they had to expedite the process of getting the car ready for purchase).Dennis was great to work with. Very friendly and not pushy at all. Easy to talk to and continues to be very helpful even after all of my follow up phone calls with questions. Feels like we made a new friend in the auto business.Paul was a great at working his magic to get us the best deal. He was willing to answer all of our questions and even re-check with the bank about their interest rates for me.

It was my first time purchasing a CPO car from a dealership and I was really anxious about how my experience gonna go but Joe and Paul made everything perfect. Paul did great things on the financing part, offering essentials but getting me the lowest rate possible, Joe did really great too by making sure that the car cosmetically, mechanically, and electronically good to go. What can I say except thank you! After what can only be described as an atrocious experience with Honolulu VW, I was referred to Tony VW from Volkswagen Consumer Affairs. Gary Hu and Guy Miyasaki took fantastic care of me and took me in with no appointment. Having the ability to drop my vehicle off at the dealer the night before was awesome (got to avoid the Hawaii traffic!). Guy made sure to call me every step of the way, clarifying my concerns before beginning the work, updating me as the repairs progressed and finally calling me when it was complete. He made it a point to go over everything that was done and made sure to answer all my questions and set up my next appointment. Kanani, the cashier, was awesome and has a fantastic personality! Very warm and welcoming, just a great person, and Ben the porter had my car ready to go when I was done checking out with a big smile on his face. The repair process was seamless and pain free, and to top it off after sharing my terrible experience at Honolulu VW with Guy and Gary, they took it upon themselves to clean and detail my car! This is a dealer that went out of their way to remedy a situation that didn't directly involve them (in fact, it involved their competitor!), just because they hold a high standard for the VW brand and wan't everyone to love their VW. I can't say enough about how well I was treated, and I recommend them to anybody looking for fair priced, thorough and quality repairs. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Joseph was our sales man, and let me begin with saying he was awesome! My husband and I told him which car I wanted (2016 Golf R). I already knew how hard it was to find this car, and honestly he made everything smooth, fast, and even fun. Joseph was really friendly and knew a lot of information on the car ( I even researched so I knew what he was talking about). I cannot say anything bad about him. He didn't rush my husband and I (even though we were there until closing), we didn't feel any pressure. It was an overall GREAT experience!!!

I purchased my 2016 Golf Sportwagen SEL in October 2015. Jon Nishimura was my salesperson. Jon made the whole car buying experience very smooth. Although this was my first time at Tony Volkswagen, Jon and the rest of the crew made it feel like I've been doing business there for years. Jon was very knowledgeable and knew the Volkswagen product very well! He made sure I got the price I wanted and very little negotiating was needed. John Kawamura was the finance manager. He also was very efficient and made things hassle free. Total time at the dealer ship was about 3.5 hours start to finish and I was out in my new car! That was the quickest and most hassle free buying experiences at a car dealership I have ever experienced! At the time of purchase I purchased the Pro Pack paint and interior sealant. About a week later I got a call from Aaron Chan in service calling to schedule an appointment to have the Pro Pack applied to my vehicle. Aaron was very respectful and made sure I got the most convenient time to fit my schedule. For me, that time was on a Saturday and it was no problem making the appointment. Upon dropping off my car for my appointment, I was greeted by a couple of very friendly service agents. Aaron had all of the paper work ready to go and no time was wasted. Since I couldn't wait there for the vehicle, Aaron put me in a loaner until my vehicle was finished. When my vehicle was finished, Aaron gave me a courtesy call to let me know I could pick up at my earliest convenience. Not many service centers at dealerships have such great service as Tony Volkswagen!I also had a chance to speak with both Andrew Lee (General Sales Manager) and Gary Hu (Service Manager). They were both very sincere, friendly, and seem to put customer service at the top of the list! Tony Volkswagen has a great "family atmosphere", which make the whole car buying experience even more enjoyable! I would highly recommend Tony Volkswagen and the entire team as a great dealership!

I have a 2012 vw jetta..purchased brand new in July 2012. Already had to replace ac $1600 headlights and battery. It's currently at vw to have coil pack and plugs replaced for $636. They say no guarantee this is the problem, but from past they have replaced and owners never had another issue. Communication with Tony VW, was horrible. One associate said one part was installed and they are waiting on the other, nobody ever mentioned they ordered parts then when I voiced my concern, they back peddled and said they never told me that...I guess I just made that up. Terrible

I was reacting to seeing an indicator warning light come on, as I turned on my car engine.My sons message to me reminded me to humble myself and not get upset at my situation with my car. We returned to our house and I called the excellent customer service team and Jessica informed me that she could accommodate me right away. She provided me with an appointment time and also informed me, she would be able to accommodate me even if I arrived ahead of my scheduled appointment time. Upon my arrival, I was taken care of with two kind gentlemen that helped me park my car and once inside, Guy greeted me and did everything he could to assist me with my concerns regarding the anticipated cost of repairing my car.Once I was able to get my day settled, I also called Gary to let him know of my situation. I have learned in life the answer will always be no, unless you take a chance and ask for help. As with Jessica, the two valet gentlemen, Guy, Gary and the many unseen faces behind the scenes, I received my answer to my question for assistance with the anticipated cost of my repair.I do not expect favors, yet I will always ask for help and if it is not possible, I humbly understand and I am just as grateful for the outstanding service, respect and treatment I receive. The quality of service extends beyond just making a positive impression on me. It has ripple effects which make a positive impact on everything in my life. I also am pretty sure my care was washed and immaculately cared for! I also did not expect a Times gift certificate for a turkey or ham!My son Gabriel is 21 years old, a young man, with multiple medical diagnoses, developmentally disabled and functioning between a six year old and eight year old level. In his early years, he was nonverbal and occasionally would communicate with sign language, when he wanted to express his emotions. My experience was very positive, and I have been very happy with my car purchase. I came in with a plan of test driving two used vehicles, and Dennis had them ready for me. He was friendly, not at all pushy, and had very practical suggestions about what to look for when testing the cars. I ended up test driving a third, the car I'd eventually buy, and he was very efficient while making sure I'd be happy with that choice. He also kept in contact with me to make sure the car was working out and helped me to make sure all of my paperwork and service needs were taken care of.

I want to thank Damon D. (Service Advisor) for his excellent service on December 28, 2015. I had previously used another dealership/repair shop and was less than satisfied with the service there and decided to try the service department at Tony VW for a fairly large service even though the dealership is a fair bit farther for me (another 15 - 20 minutes of driving). Damon set my expectations as to the time and cost of the service and was communicative throughout the service. The waiting area was clean and Damon let me know once my vehicle service was done. The total service charge was not greater than Damon's original estimate and I was even offered a car wash afterward as well!Every aspect of my service appointment at Tony VW was better than expected and I look forward to using Tony VW going forward.Sean B.

I needed to come in for my 40000 mile maintenence on my Volkswagen Jetta TDI so I called up Tony Volkswagen. I schedule my appointment and unfortunately my bank account decided to act up and I didn't have the funds for that day. Aaron Chanwas very understanding and bent over backwards to ensure that I would be rescheduled for a time that I wanted. He was on point calling me to remind me of my appointment and then called me a couple minutes before my cat was done. It's employees like him, who truly care about people, that are going to take volkswagen to the top in customer service. So far this has been the best experience with a dealership I've ever had. Hats off to Aaron and the rest of the Volkswagen Team.

We just purchased a home on Oahu and needed a reliable used SUV to drive. Began our search online, but ended up stopping by Tony Volkswagen in Waipahu after finding a couple of vehicles to test drive. I was greeted warmly by VW veteran Sales Consultant Jon Nishimura who is both knowledgeable and genuinely nice. He offered to let me test drive a vehicle without any pressure to buy unless it was the "right" vehicle for our family. How refreshing! One week later I returned to test drive another vehicle. Jon was leaving for the day, but offered to have his mentee, Dennis Paulino, assist me. The vehicle I'd seen online wasn't going to fit our needs, so I chose instead to test drive a 2008 Honda CR-V. Never have I driven or owned a Honda. Loved it! Dennis and I negotiated the deal and agreed I would pick up the vehicle the next day from Jon. Jon greeted us and offered to see if we could return our rental car to the Enterprise located within Tony Group Autoplex. They did and I now am one happy Honda owner!!!A few days later, I had a problem with my vehicle and called Jon. He immediately drove from Tony's VW to my location, jump started my car, had me follow him back to their service department and had a brand new battery installed while I waited (less than 15 minutes).The folks at Tony's VW ROCK! I highly recommend them for your next new or used car purchase or vehicle service.

Ive been a very happy Tony Volkswagen customer since I purchased my new car in 2011. But what has kept me coming back has been the excellent service I have received time after time from the service center personnel and management. It is truly outstanding. Each and every time my little VW needs something they are always there to help. From Fritz with his friendly warm smile at check in to the agents Guy and Damon, Im always in great hands. I even watched their customer service agent Kanani walking around and offering complimentary snacks and refreshment to everyone. Hospitality just like being at a large hotel.Once when I had to make an emergency repair at another VW dealer they billed me a very large amount for the repairs that I thought should have been covered by my warranty. When I called Mr. Hu the manager, he asked me to come in and talk with him about it and he would personally look into it. A few weeks later I received a refund for the total amount. I was floored with joy to receive this and was truly amazed. During my most recent service visit Kanani told me I had won a new shirt from their apparel center so I picked out a purple Polo to match my grandsons school Damien Memorial which I plan to wear it to all the school events. As a former customer service supervisor for a large local telecommunications company I can truly say this company has it figured out. Naurene was super patient with us! My husband and I went in looking for a second vehicle not knowing exactly what we wanted. I had been looking to purchase a 2015 GTI as a replacement for my 2012 TDI. After looking thru the online inventorys, I was aware that only one dealer had a GTI Autobahn. I'd spoken to Dennis P. several times, and he suggested that he would work with me to get a good price on the GTI. Working with Dennis was the right choice, he showed me the features, prior to the sale, and stood by after to make sure that I understood all of the nuances of the new vehicle. I really appreciate the extra steps he took to make sure that I understood all of the subtleties, and when I had a question several days later, he made a point getting the answer to me ASAP. His patience, and product knowledge is outstanding. Usually at the closing is where I get the worst case of nerves, but Dennis was there, and Ryan S. executed the paper work with the kind of knowledge that comes from being a true professional. Went in on a whim to look at the 2015 GTI. I was immediately greeted by Naurene. She took me to the car I was interested, after showing me the car we went on a test drive. After working out the financials, Wendy prepared the paperwork in record time. I took delivery of the car that day. Upon delivery I noticed a few scratches on the bumper. I contacted Naurene about the scratches and she quickly put me in contact with Brandon at the service department. They replaced the bumper at no cost. Overall good experience.

I am extremely pleased with my experience with Tony Volkswagen. I was highly considering buying a new vehicle but wasn't quite sold yet, so I decided to check out the VW Golf. Dennis Paulino showed me the different models of the Golf, and carefully explained the differences between them. He also discussed my reasons for purchasing a new car to make sure it was the right decision for me. There was no pressure to buy whatsoever. After two test drives and careful deliberation, I was sold on the Golf. After I had made my decision, all of the paperwork was done very quickly and I was able to drive out of the lot with my new Golf in a couple of hours. They also bought my previous car for a pretty good price considering its condition. All in all, I am very pleased with my experience at Tony VW. Buy a Golf, they are awesome cars!

I recently PCS'ed to Hawaii and needed a car asap! I met Dennis, and he guranteed me he could find me a vehicle and a bank to finance me. I did not have a ride to the dealership so Dennis picked me up and allowed me to test drive one of the vehicles I picked out back to the dealership. The entire time Dennis remained professional and helpful. I left the dealership the owner of a 2013 Jetta and a happy customer of Tony Volkswagen. Couldn't have done it without the help of Dennis! Gary Hu, Damon Deuprey and Eric Smith provided excellent service! They worked diligently until they were able to find a rattle my new 2013 Volkswagen Hybrid had in the roof for over a year. I had all but given up hope. The Service manager, Gary, called me daily with updates and went above and beyond in his superior customer service management. I took my car in to Tony Volkswagen as it had a check engine light on the Service consultant, Damon Deuprey said that I needed a part and I should not drive it until repaired. This was on Wednesday, Damon stated that he would order the part and it would arrive the next day but to make sure leave it until Friday for pickup. On Friday I called, Damon was not there, the lady I spoke to on the telephone took 20 minutes to find my car and they tpld me it was ready for pickup. I came to pick up the car, paid $550 for the repair and part and thought my car was fixed. The next morning I got into the car and the check engine light was on again, I returned to the dealer to be told oh your car was not fixed. The part we ordered did not come in. This dealership allowed me to pay for a repair and drive a car home that they said was not safe to drive. I assume if I had not returned with the check engine light they would have stolen my money. I would never take a car there again for repairs. They are absolutely untrustworty.

This is my second Volkswagen and when the time comes, I hope to get my third Volkswagen from here. Although I live 30 miles away and there's a closer Volkswagen to receive service, I will make the drive to this location. It's amazing that I never have to wait the whole day for my car to be serviced. Also, Kanani the cashier and Steven in the parts departments have always been knowledgable and accommodating whenever I have a request for an after market part or accessory. Guy has actually had to "inherit" me as a customer since my last service advisor moved away. I must say he has not disappointed me and I can be a high maintenance customer at times.

Though Tony VW is opposite of where I live in Hawaii Kai I always make the journey out to Waipio for the great service I receive. My car is done in a reasonable amount of time. I get a shuttle ride or loaner car if needed. Everyone is available to answer questions. I continue to refer my friend's to Tony.

I appreciate Gary working with us to fix the right side mirror that had been damaged when my car had been put through the car wash at the Tony Dealership. He arranged to have my car picked up and left me a loaner while my car was being serviced. He kept in touch with me, giving me updates on the mirror repair, as well as other checking on the leaking and squeaking that still were problematic.Alana picked up my car and left me a Jetta. I live near in the country, on the way to North Shore, so it's a bit of a drive, but Alana said she volunteered for the job, and I felt like she took genuine pleasure in her work. Overall, Alana provided excellent service. She was friendly, positive, and professional both when she picked up my car and dropped it off. She represents the company well.My vehicle was returned with the floor cleaned, which I appreciated. I had washed it before Alana picked it up, but hadn't had time to vacuum it.Gary made sure I was satisfied with the work completed, and although I didn't drive the Jetta loaner--which looked flawless, it was nice to know I had a vehicle in case of an emergency. Although I expect Gary's schedule is very busy, he took the time to get to know my future car interests, and we discussed what my "dream" car is and why. I appreciate the professional and friendly service I received in June 2014 from Tony Group.

My husband and I bought a new VW Golf on 12/13/13 however I did not have a chance to write a review until now. We were so impressed with Mr. Jon Nishimura and would like to belatedly recognize him. Jon was very patient, attentive and most of all knowledgeable about the Golf. He never put the "hard sell" on us, but rather answered our questions and assisted us in comparing the new Golf to our 10 year old diesel Golf. He also was true to his word of offering assistance after we bought the car and helped me with the bluetooth adjustment when i returned a couple of weeks later.It was a long day at the dealership as we really did not anticipate buying a new car that day. But we were grateful to have Jon assist us, and he made all the difference and would recommend him to anyone looking for a VW.

My wife and I have been doing business with Gary Hu for a long time, and he has always been professional, friendly, and very helpful. Recently, when our Jetta was having trouble with intermittent starting problems, Gary took time over the phone to suggest several possible reasons and ways to try and determine the cause of the failure. With the help of Gary's experience and insight we eventually narrowed it down to a malfunctioning crank positioning sensor. Once it was replaced the problem went away, and our Jetta was as good as new.

I want to thank Gary Hu and Guy Miyasaki for their incredible service.I had a flat tire on my Jetta and wasnt able to locate the wheel lock key to take the tire off. Im new to the islands so I contacted Honolulu Volkswagen for a little help and advice and was told that I would just have to tow the car in so they could remove it. I needed to find another solution other then towing the car from Kaneohe to the airport to change a flat so I called Tony Volkswagen in Waipio and spoke to Mr. Gary Hu. He suggested I check several areas of the vehicle where the keys are often placed. No luck, no key. He then suggested I take a photo of the lock pattern on the wheel and text it to him and he would do his best to match a new key. A few minutes later he called back stating he would be sending out Guy Miyasaki to assist me with a key set and to help change my tire. Guy arrived shortly and he was able to match a key from the photo I sent over and installed my spare tire. Guy even gave me a replacement key. I cannot believe this incredible act of kindness and the unbelievable service Tony Volkswagen offers its customers. Thank you so much for helping me out of a bind.Resepectfully SubmittedJRH

Car buying experience was great. It was my second time buying a vehicle and this experience was totally different from the first. First and foremost there was absolutely no pressure from our sales consultant. He was friendly and very knowledgeable on the vehicles he was selling. The staff at the dealership are excellent too - when we bought the vehicle, a part had to be changed (non mechanical part). The dealership followed up and made arrangements to accomodate my schedule. I would definately recommend Tony Volkswagen to others.

I needed to buy a car and didn't know any male friend who could come with me to see cars on New Year's Eve, until my friend talked to me about Tony Dealership and their outstanding customer service. I don't know anything about cars but went into their website, looked up many possibilities online, then send contact info and Tommy called me back on the next morning. I asked to see a brown car, and he knew exactly what I was talking about. We met, he showed me the car, answered ALL, absolutely all my questions and concerns. He and his manager were very patient with my old trade-in car, as it gave them so much trouble. Tommy helped me with paper work and 3 hours later he handled me the car key. It was a real surprise, I was not ready yet to start driving a different car. Tommy rode the car with me and showed me basics buttons that were placed differently than in my old car, until I felt confident enough to drive it home. Also, Reece helped me with the financial part plus maintainance plan. He was also very helpful, very friendly and made the financial terms easy to understand. I had an excellent car purchase experience, just right before the New Year. All my family and friends love my car. They cannot believe that I went to a car dealership by myself. In a few years I will come back and buy another car from Tommy and Reece. Very grateful!

I will/ would never take my vehicle anywhere else. Everyone is very, very friendly and makes you feel so welcome. Damon addressed my concerns and accomodated my needs right away. This is the holiday season, so I was very busy, and couldn't do with out a car. While they checked out the problem I was having, he gave me a loaner (nice one, too!). The problem was detected and fixed in a matter of days. As my car was being worked on, they noticed my safety check was going to expire. Damon went up and above the call, safety check and car washed! The service team at Tony Volkswagon is so AWESOME!!!

I did not intend to buy a car that day because I was very satisfied with my current car and could have driven my old car for 3 more years. My husband owned a Volkswagen Tiguan for over a year and loved it. He really wanted me to get one too. I didn't go to Tony VW with the intent to buy a car that day but I ended up buying one because of the great service. Tommy Chun-Ming made all the difference in the world. He greeted us sincerely and warmly. He truly listened to my needs and didn't just try to put me in a car he thought was good for me. He let me test drive every car without making me feel like a bother. He didn't rush me even though it was pouring rain. The other thing is I don't like the typical car salesman experience. I find it exhausting and it puts me off. Tommy treated me with dignity, respect, sincerity and his genuine humility was refreshing. The whole experience with Tommy from driving the cars to finding the right priced car was very professional. I would highly recommend this dealership and Tommy Chun-Ming. I also wanted to mention an extra step that Tommy took that makes me tell my friends about getting a car from this dealership. The day after I purchased my car was a holiday and the VW detailing shop was closed. Tommy let me take the car home instead of making me wait a few days for the car. He made arrangements to personally come to my work and pick up my car. He drove it to Waipio had it detailed and brought it back. That act alone made me a lifetime customer of Tony Group. I'm so glad I met Tommy and I love my car and I had a great buyer experience. I'm so grateful to my husband for taking me to Tony VW. He said he had a great experience and knew that was important to me. Great job Tony VW, great staff and good success to you guys!

10/30/2013My name is Sandra Motonaga. I live in Pearl City, Hawaii and commute daily to my job in Hawaii Kai. This morning, I noticed I had lost a hub cap. Most Likely due to the high volume of road construction and uneven pavement encountered during my daily commute. This morning, I called the service center and inquired if a replacement was possible. The service representative (male) was so kind and informed me one hub cap for my car was in stock, he quoted me the price of approx $87.00. I asked him if he could hold it for me, as I was unsure of when I could make it out to the service center. He was kind enough to offer to hold it through Saturday. I was fortunate to make it to the service center today. As I drove up, I was greeted by Gary Hu and his courteous service staff. He asked how he could help me and I informed him. he escorted me inside and listened to my story about my commute and how I lost my hub cap. He responded by asking me if he could offer me a free car wash coupon. I was so happy to accept, as this would alleviate some of the "stress" of an unanticipated expense of purchasing my hub cap! Gary Hu touched me to the core, he then informed me I would also not have to pay for my hub cap! He brought tears to my eyes! I reacted with immense appreciation, as my own son (living with a rare developmental disability) was having medical treatment. to be able to save the cost of the hub cap and apply it towards my medical expenses is a blessing! Gary Hu then introduced me to Service consultant, Guy Miyasaki, to complete the sales / purchase order for my hub cap. Guy was just as gracious, courteous and kind and completed the purchase order and informed me he would also make sure all of the remaining three hubcaps on my car would also be checked to make sure they were secured. I did not have to wait long, the service team did an excellent job to install the new hub cap and ensure my vehicle was safe. When completed, Guy Miyasaki, informed me everything was checked and secure, he also went the extra mile to informe me of when my next service date should be scheduled. Guy then introduced me to Customer Service Representative, Kanani Abiley. Kanani was efficiant with completing my service and she provided me with a complimentary car wash coupon. I can not say enough to praise the entire team of employees that represent TONY VOLKSWAGEN I was treated with respect, and sincere professional service from my initial phone call, to arriving at the service center to concluding my visit. I wish I could remember everyone's name, as it is very apparent, the employees work together as a team full of pride to offer the very best customer service!Thank You from the bottom of my heart!

My current purchase experience through Mazda Cutter was a horrible experience in all aspects. From the initial transaction, to the financial process and especially the follow-on service. I come to Tony Autoplex, to trade in my truck just to rid myself from having to deal with Mazda Cutter. Although I was not able to trade my truck, the Sales Representative, Tommy Chun-Ming help me with exploring all possible options. He even was patient with walking each option through its pros/cons with me. He demonstrated a honest effort with assisting me with my decision that would offer the best option of from what I had to choose from. It appeared he was more concern that I was satisfied with the deal (option) then for him to just making the sale. He allowed me the time to think it through and was not "pushing".The financial process was pleasant and fast. I didn't feel like I was in another sales push for add-ones. I was offered and explained and my first answers was accepted. My only regret is not going to Tony Autoplex prior to Mazda Cutter.Note: the brand field selection did not list the brand I purchased, Volkswagon.

My husband and I decided it was time to start shopping for a new car as our 11 year old Saturn was starting to cost more in repairs thanthe value of the car. We had in mind a VW Passat as we drove one in Houston in September. I also owned a Jetta. We visited oneother VW Dealership before we headed out to the Tony Group. We found Ryan Riveira to be very knowledgeable about VWs and hewas there to ensure that we got what we wanted. We had a budget and knew what we were willing to pay monthly. Ryan initially showed us a Passat SE which was nice but not in the colors we were interested in. He then took us to see the new inventoryand we found our Passat Wolfburg. What I am most impressed with is that Ryan made sure we knew the difference between the two cars,i.e. the SE and the Wolfburg. And Miles the finance manager did not jerk us around on price. He gave us the best price without us having togo back and forth. We are looking forward to a relationship with the Tony Group. At the end of the year my husband will be looking to replace his SUV and who knows we may end up at the Tony Group for that purchase too.

Our experience when buying a new car from Tommy was excellent, and comfortable. I have had the experience of buying a new car 9 times previously, but this 10th time with Tommy was the most pleasant one. I had my other car serviced at Tony VW a little later and Guy Miyasaki of the Service Department was nice and courteous too. There was also a tall, skinny gentleman who received my car (I dont see him in the staff list but he is always there when I go to the services); His gentle, welcoming smile made me feel that my favorite car would be in good hands. I havent had a chance to meet with the general manager, but I assume he must be a nice person too because normally the head of office has a big influence on those who work there.

Joe was most pleasant and sincere. He made me feel comfortable, not only because of his honesty but because of his knowledge of the vehicles and the dealership. He wasn't pushy and made me feel important even though I wasn't buying a new car. But, I am so pleased with my CPO 2009 VW Jetta and I have received so many compliments from people at my job, especially the military I work with. Joe always answered my calls in record time. When I first started working with Tommy, I had not realized he was a salesman as he doesn't seem to fit the typical salesperson look that most people would assume. That is actually a good thing and would most likely get people to not have their guard up as high as you would normally expect. I didn't think he would go thru all the things he did just to help me purchase my vehicle but I truly appreciate the fact that he would literally go out of his way and do just about anything he can to help you get into the vehicle I was looking for. If I could rate just the level of customer service I got from Tommy, out of a 10 he would get a 20. Now for the price, I honestly believe I could've gotten a better price considering some of the issues with the vehicle and I've learned a lot from this purchase that I will use in my next purchase of a vehicle.

Tommy and Miles provided TOP NOTCH customer service. While transferring my junks from oy old car to my newly purchased Honda Pilot, i misplaced the key to my trade-in, Tommy was very patient and helpful with me. He even looked in the trash can :). It was getting late and the sky was getting dark, but Tommy stayed back and didn't leave until i found the key. And thennn...he also helped me obtain insurance through a contact of his. Again, Tommy is TOP NOTCH! Greatest car buying experience i've ever had...Thank you Tommy!!

Alberto Hernandez was very knowledgeable, courteous and friendly, as well as were Craig and Miles. Alberto was the best automobile sales person I have dealt with in 55 years of buying cars. His after purchase follow-up was unsolicited and very welcomed. The showroom was clean and comfortable and bottled water and snacks were provided without being asked for.

It was my very first time stepping into a Volkswagen dealership and it wasn't a mistake. It was a pleasure to meet Alberto who is very friendly, understanding, knowledgable and patient. I liked the fact that I knew I was speaking with a knowledgable Sales Consultant that wasn't "pushy" and did not pressure me into a deal that I wasn't ready to make. His customer service is outstanding. It helped to know that I wasn't just speaking with a "Car Salesman" and that I was speaking with a individual who genuinely cared to earn my business and made sure that the purchase would be a good fit and beneficial to me. I purchased a 2012 VW Beetle from Doug on August 6, 2012. I found Doug to be professional, courteous, and a very nice young man to buy a car from. I was running close on my schedule and he even took me to my meeting downtown in order that I made the meeting on time. The staff at Tony Volkswagen delivers superior customer service and is very informative and friendly. We were immediately greeted by Dirk who was more than happy to help us. From the very beginning, he was very personable and answered any questions or concerns I had about the vehicle I wanted. Throughout the entire process, Dirk was always available via his personal telephone line or email. A week after my first visit I went back and purchased my car. The negotiation and finance aspect of my experience was also very pleasing. Again, the staff is top knotch!

Dirk was the most professional sales rep I have ever dealt with in my purchase of six vehicles over my life time. Despite me telling him that I was just looking, he still treated me as if I was making the purchase that day. It is because of him and his expertise of the VW CC that I returned the next day and made the purchase. He new everything about the vehicle which was impressive and made the purchasing experience that much more wonderful.Virgil was a pleasant, courteous manager to talk with.The only disappointing factor of Tony VW was the interior of the facilities. The chairs and the tables were old, uncomfortable not and not the cleanest I would expect from this kind of dealership. The fact I had to wait for a few hours even though I had pre-financing and had picked the car out many hours before was also a disappointing fact. This time lapse almost made me walk away. Dirk's professionalism and rapport with me were the only reason I did not leave the dealership when I knew I could have made a deal at another dealership.Zack from Service was impressive as well. I cannot say that about his colleagues. However, Zack's prompt return phone calls, his knowledge of the vehicles, and his customer service is impeccable and beats out the Lexus and Mercedes service department by far in Honolulu.

I'm a first-time buyer of a brand new vehicle and the Tony Volkswagen team made it a great experience. I initially went to VW of Honolulu and it was horrible. The salesman did not give me much info at all about the car that I was looking to purchase. They were asking for a RIDICULOUS down payment even though my credit is good. It was just horrible. I decided to take the ride to Tony VW, even though it was about 20-30 minutes away, I'm so very glad I went. The staff was very welcoming and friendly from the time I pulled onto the lot. My salesman Dirk was very knowledgeable and passionate about the car that I wanted to purchase and it really helped that he has one, his self. He told me so much about the car, every feature inside, out. I fell in love with the car even more than I did when I looked at it on the internet. I had no idea it was packed with so many convenient features. We worked a fair deal that we were all happy with and I went home in my new car. Dirk is great about following up and answering any questions. The Finance team was great, I was just really happy with the Tony VW team. If I have any friends or co-workers looking to buy new cars, I will definitely recommend Tony's Group. Another great thing about Tony which I'm not sure if they realize how big of a deal it is, is that they have vending machines, water fountains and a children's play area. I have been to dealerships that didn't have any of those and the kids are bored out of their minds which makes it hard for the parents to focus on the deal. My experience was great. A week and a half later, I'm still smiling about my new car.

My VW Jetta was falling apart after 9 months, purchased it from a private sales. During my vacation time from deployment, I took the vehicle into service and told Zach my issues with the vehicle. He called me couple hours later and he gave me a call and gave me price quote what the repairs would cost. The repairs would exceed the value of the car, despite my disappointment I asked about turning the car in for credit or options of getting rid of the vehicle. Zach reffered me to Alberto who assisted me in getting a good price on a used car. We went through the options and narrowed it down to 3 vehicles. Bottom line, I turned in a disatisfied vehicle and left with a new (used) vehicle the same day. With the understanding of Alberto, he had promised couple things that vehicle needed and paid his debt when i returned the following week for a followup appointment.

From day one, when Josh approached my wife and I on the lot, we knew that we would be purchasing a car. The car we were looking for was not available, but, Josh found one for us and called as soon as it was ready to be tested. Unfortunately, Josh was off the day we went to look. He did, though, set us up with a fine gentleman by the name of Miles. Miles is a spectacular sales person. After our purchase, we wanted the car to be cleaned. The cleaning crew had already gone home, but Miles promised us that he would take care of it. The next day, Miles came to my workplace, picked up and returned the car spotless and with a full tank of gas. What a great guy. i have purchased cars before, but never, ever, have I had service like this. I am definitely a customer for life. Other sales professionals should learn from Miles' example. Zach was very friendly and helpful. It was the first time to the dealership for my wife and I, and we needed to find out why the check-engine light on our dashboard was on. His confident reassurance gave us comfort knowing that what ever it was, it could be fixed, and probably at a reasonable price. He was very efficient in writing up our concern, and then welcomed us to free coffee and snacks while we waited in the customer lounge. The diagnosis by the technician was fast, and then Zach explained the problem to us in very easy to understand terms. It was a problem with spark plug wires and a MAF sensor. He explained repair options, and then, with no pressure, let us make the decision on what to do next. He was very professional in all respects, and treated us like VIPs. We are very happy with Tony Volkswagon's Service Department, and especially Zach for his friendly, courteous help. We will be looking forward to return to have the work done by Tony Volkswagon as soon as our busy work schedules permit. In the meantime, we will be sure to relate our positive experience with the Tony Volkswagon Service Department with our friends and business associates.

A great experience all the way. Reggie (internet contact) answered email on Thanksgiving day, which really impressed me. Solid work ethic is a rare commodity, and I appreciated his effort. He introduced us to Tommy at Tony Volkswagen, who was really low-key and knowledgeable. Tommy worked with us over the span of two or three days and 3 different vehicles.
