Our salesperson, Leon was absolutely awesome!he spent the entire day showing us cars and different options. He was never pushy, never made us feel like we HAD to buy, and made us feel very at ease. I have tried to give this place a second chance at redeeming themselves, but here I sit yet again an hour in with an established appointment and my car has yet to even go back. I'm here for my regularly scheduled maintainance that is required for my warranty, and I scheduled this appointment well ahead of time. It's not as if they had to squeeze me in or that I'm a walk-in. Each time they ask me if I'll be dropping off my car for the day and each time my answer is the same, "No." It's not like I have a chauffeur that follows me around on this day or that I can just take the day off because your department can't complete the service in a timely manner and apparently need the entire day to complete it. So, here I sit. The last time I sat for two and a half hours and my car had not yet even been moved into the bay so I had to leave. And they gave me some bogus excuse that the online scheduling doesn't communicate to the phone scheduler - blah, blah, blah. No my problem. It's been an hour now and I'm obviously not surprised to see my car has yet to be moved into the bay as of yet. What's the point in having an appointment?! I could roll into any other service station unannounced and could have had better customer service and it would certainly be more timely any other day of the week. So why is that so out of the realm of possibilities here? And on a Tuesday morning at 8:15am nonetheless?! With all that being said, if I purchase another new Toyota it won't be from this location simply because of its service department, which is sad because I truly enjoyed our salesperson.

Brought in my new 2015 SUV for a rust problem on the interior. A very rare defect but right from the beginning they did not want to fix or replace the issue. They got in touch with Toyota regional and they said the same thing, not their problem. Went thru all the recommended lines of defense to get Toyota to do what is right to no avail. So now I have a product defect on a brand new vehicle. I will continue to do what is right and go social media on this also. Warranties are useless unless the vehicle actually breaks down or injures someone. Forget the "quality". It's pretty sad that you have to seek legal action on a problem so small.Oh, and on top of that the 2 times I had it in this dealership for repair or service, the repair was a "BANDADE" and the oil change looked like an "OIL SPILL".I really feel bad for those who are not aware or unable to check their work when they have finished a job on any of the vehicles that go thru this place.

My parents went to the dealer to trade in our 2005 Mercury. We had bought a Corolla in 2008 from Greg Knight at the same dealership. Greg was still there and did an awesome job helping my parents buy a new Avalon. Everyone was really nice and m my parents had a great buying experience. When you call, Kathy will pick up after one ring. In the last 12 years, we have bought at least 6 cars from this dealership! I dont have to make any service appointment, they squeeze us in and handle the service within a very little timeframe and theres a tv where you can watch the work as well as free coffee & donuts! We love & feel comfortable with Salesman Greg Knight who handled most of these purchases. He is quiet, patient, and makes feel like family. The Sales Mgr. Billy Fortenberry (who I call James because he looks like a James), will wheel & deal to try to give you the rate you want. To top it off there's the Finance Mgr. Karl King who is a expert at easing any stress & is hilarious with the stories from previous sales & life in general, that he shares with you. Although it is usually draining to purchase a vehicle, you can leave happy & satisfied with a great deal. Thats why they always get our business.

Buying a car can be a draining experience. It depends on the people and/or dealership you deal with. Let me tell you about this one here in McDonough. When I call Kathy will pick up the call after one ring. In the last 12 years, we have bought around 6 cars from right here. The Service Dept always squeezes my car in with little wait time. For a really nice touch, you can watch on tv the work being done while having free coffee & donuts!! We ADORE our regular Sales Associate Greg Knight is a quiet, patient man who treats you like family. The Sales Mgr. Billy Fortenberry (whom I call James & he lets me get away with that) will wheel & deal with you to try hard to get you at the price YOU want. The Finance Mgr. Karl King is gifted in making you laugh with the stories he shares about his sales & life experiences that you forget about why you are there in the 1st place. So, with this awesome team, you leave happy and satisfied with the vehicle purchase you just made. Oh, did I forget to mention that my husband & I were fed hamburgers & hotdogs the next day we came to pick up our vehicle after it was detailed. What dealership does that!! This is why we keep doing business with only this dealership. Highly & most definitely recommend!!

My wife and I recently purchased a 2017 Camry and a 2016 Tundra, and entire process of negotiating a final price was a completely slow and agonizing process. The sales manager was extremely high pressure, and my wife and I felt the entire process was smoke and mirrors, and very confusing process trying to assess whether or not we were getting a fair price on each vehicle. So many hidden fees and add ons with service contracts and extended warranties.

Went in for an oil change with an appointment at 10:30am. Had coupon for 29.95 for conventional and understood synthetic was slightly higher but slightly higher to them is $20 more so then paid $49.95. Then waited TWO AND A HALF HOURS for me to finally speak up and ask what's up. They were finishing my last tire for the rotation and sending it through the wash (which I understand is free but does nothing whatsoever but get your car wet). Finally left after the 10 minutes that took and went to leave the property and my engine started to shake and make a noise. Turned back around and thankfully got a technician right away and he told me it was nothing and to put tape on a metal bar that it seemed to be hitting. Tape? Really? So left and next day called and complained and was given nothing for my complaint and was given excuses as half their staff went to clean for the big boss.

I went to toyota of McDonough and was looking for a car but was so unsure of what I wanted. As soon as I stepped out of my moms car Coy was there to greet me. He was so welcoming and sweet. I felt as if I was buying my car from my friend. He helped me every step of the way, he was even my decoy to check out the leg space in my car. He showed me all different types of vehicles and I test drove two I really liked. I then spoke with Greg and he showed me the details on the car I really liked the most. So I would say that both gentlemen helped me make a tough decision to buy a car. I'm highly satisfied with the service I received and I would recommend them to any and everybody I know. It was time for my 2014 Tacoma Prerunner 10k mile service plan. Decided to walk thru the show floor with my husband. Trenda Bridges walked up and greeted us. Couldn't come to an agreement at first on if we wanted to traid. After discussing it and great follow up from Trenda, we decided to go back in the next day and traided in our Mazda for a 2016 Highlander! Can I say, we love it!!!! My daughter purchased a Corolla from this dealership. I accompanied her so as to make sure she got a good deal and not cheated. I need not have came. The entire experience was great, an excellent dealership. They treated us like royalty, offered soft drinks, water, doughnuts, coffee, and once they knew what my daughter was interested in, they even went and brought the car to the showroom, we didn't have to walk all over from car to car. They made it so easy. Our salesman, Leon Poole was superb, he was courteous, professional and anticipated virtually everyone of our questions, and was ready with the answers. We took a long ride in the car, Mr. Poole explained everything about the car to us. Couldn't ask for a better experience! I wish I could give more than five stars. The entire staff was awesome, sales and finance.

On June 11, 2016 I went to the McDonough Toyota dealership hoping to trade-in my 2008 Honda Pilot. I'd purchased the Honda from the same dealership last year. There was nothing wrong with the Honda, I just wanted to upgrade. I'd also worked with salesperson, Mr. Leon Poole. The prior kindness, patience, professionalism and understanding that I'd received from Mr. Poole made me want to move from working with Toyota (Lithia Springs) to the McDonough location. Lithia Springs had been my favorite location for a number of years. I traded the Honda for a 2015 Toyota Highlander to use to transport my grandchildren to various events. I also owned a 2014 Toyota Camry Hybrid which I thought I'd keep til death...until Mr. Poole showed me the 2016 Toyota Avalon. I saw stars and heard a horn blow...no I wasn't in heaven, but when I drove that Avalon, I thought it was a close second to heaven. I returned to the McDonough dealership two days later and traded my former beloved Hybrid. What made me purchase two cars in two days? Mr. Poole. I enjoyed working with him because he listened to what I liked, patiently showed me numerous cars and neither sale included any pressure to buy. I have recommended the McDonough Toyota to friends and family and I highly recommended working with Mr. Leon Poole. Thanks so much McDonough Toyota, for having an excellent salesperson (Mr. Poole) on your staff. I am enjoying both of my reliable, affordable, beautiful vehicles!!!

I went on the Internet to begin my search for a car just 2- days ago.Initially I searched and filled out a pre-qualifying application with another major dealership.They were suppose to call me by the next day.They never did.So I called them...they had list my info..and wanted me to fill the form outvagsin..and state allover. I KNEW THEN..I needed to keep looking.So I went on CarDirect....which led me to TOYOTA OF MCDONOUGH..I fill the pre- qualifying form out on Thursday evening. Got a call from a text the next morning..saying I was qualified..I called cause I just could not believe this was this quick...and easy. I spoke to the Internet manager who confirmed IWAS CONFIRMED TO BUY A VEHICLE.Shevtold me exactly what I needed to bring..and asked what day and time for my appointment.I talked with my husband that Friday evening aftervwork. And getting off treacherousv 85..there were 6 accidents.we just didn't want to get back on thevhighway..We woke up Sathis morning and arrived at 10:00am..Miss T.Watts the Sales Rep., financing, Floor manager and Dealership Manager..we're all gracious, very professional, friendly and worked with us to get us into a vehicle..at the price needed.I dove off by 12:30 pm today May 21st. with a 2015 Kia Sorento which has....very , very ...low mileage.. under 40, 000 miles..still underwarranty. There was no haggling, pressure or hidden agendas..they are honest!!!!. .They even detailed the car and filled it up with gas....I am more than satisfied...I'm a blessed buyer..and will take all of my future xar buying needs to this AWESOME DEALERSHIP..GOD BLESS THESE.PEOPLE. I have to say that my experience at Toyota McDonough was one of the best experiences of any car dealerships I have dealt with in the past. Everyone there made you feel welcomed and they truly appreciated your business. My sales rep Heather McCollum was outstanding she handled everything perfectly and didn't pressure me which was great. Even when I made her get 3 different camrys for me to test drive she was pleasant about it. I love Toyotas and when I'm ready I will definitely be going back here to get my next car. Arriving to the dealership I had my mind set that I was only going to look around without purchasing. Greeting upon arrival was my wonderful salesman Coy Allen. I have never met this young man before and just by the way he greeted me with a excellent smile and greet sense of humor I knew I was going to be comfortable working with him... I told him that I was not going to purchase and he told me it was fine but he still treated me with greet customer service and enlightened my day. Making me fall and love with the vehicle was the only wrong thing he did. With him putting no pressure on me I did end up purchasing a vehicle from him and I would highly recommend my professional salesman to anyone out looking for a vehicle.

I had the pleasure of working with Rose Bristol in helping me find a truck that I wanted. I came in the dealership and told her what I wanted and she was very helpful. I wanted a special edition Toyota Tundra 1794 pick up that is a rare truck also in a rare color and he dealership didn't have that truck on the lot that day but they got the truck for me the very next day. I didn't sit in the dealership all day like most dealerships have you doing and Rose made the experience easier than I ever had. I have bought Mercedes and Lexus from dealerships and the experience I had with Rose at Toyota of McDonough out shined the more prestigious dealers. The finance manager was even very nice also. I would strongly recommend buying there and using Rose Bristol as a consultant because she knew everything about the truck that surprised me as well. Defiantly a thumbs up. Darte

Mike Neves is the worst general manager ever. I purchased a car on Sunday and was told the car will be delivered to the dealership Monday or Tuesday. I get a call from my sales person on Monday informing me that the car was involved in a accident. Now I was purchasing a brand new car so obviously that's a no go. They start trying to provide me with different options all of which was not what I agreed on when I made my purchase. They even offered a demo with 6,000 miles......once again clearly didn't want that since I was purchasing a new car. I decided to call Mike since he's the general manager to get some information about a resolution and he informs me they can't get the exact vehicle I want until the 23rd of February which is 3 weeks later than I was told and agreed on. I asked him what they planned on doing for the inconvenience and he informs me they aren't the ones that crashed the vehicle and I won't budge on my wants in the car so therefore basically nothing. I would just have to wait. Now how in the world does that make sense. I never even received a apology for the inconvenience or anything. Then he tells me to call my sales person and I say why aren't you the general manager. I asked who I can speak to over him and he tells me to call 1 800 toyota and hangs up on me. He's unprofessional, rude, ignorant, and doesn't possess the qualities to be a GM at toyota. Toyota is a great company and he does them a huge disservice. I opened a investigation into this and even they said he handle the situation wrong. Needless to say I'm taking my business to another toyota dealership and I have to start all over again. STAY AWAY FROM TOYOTA OF MCDONOUGH BECAUSE MIKE NEVES HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HIS CUSTOMERS AT ALL. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO ANOTHER TOYOTA DEALERSHIP.

Went there to look at a 2000 model and ended up buying a beautiful 2014 Tacoma from them! Super great deal on it too! The salesman we had was super fun to work with even though he's new to sales he seemed comfortable in the position and had such a great attitude about everything! This was my first scheduled maintenance. You overdelivered by rotating the tires (expected), but also performed the oil change, not normally scheduled until the second maintenance. While this was a good thing, I was not prepared for the additional cost incurred.Further, it it difficult to measure the "quality of repairs" on the tire rotation or oil change.Additionally, while I understand the waiting time can be difficult to adhere to, I was told to expect service to take an hour, but it actually took at least 1.5 hours.

I have been using Toyota or McDonough's service department since I moved to this area more than 7 years and have been impressed with the personnel and facilities, and trust them with my vehicles. Having never had any major maintenance problems, I show up to have regular service done without appointments. Each time the service was done in a timely manner.Although I've had an exceptional sales person (Gary Coley), the buying process has always been somewhat stressful for me but feel like I've always gotten a fair deal on the price. The only problem has been the time (hours) it has taken to finalize the deal and complete all the paperwork.

My 2001 Tundra had a check engine light come on. Your mechanic, Landon DeGraff, has been the only mechanic to work on it these past 14 years. So when an issue arises it comes to him.... they didn't have an oxygen sensor in stock...sent ther parts people to another supplier... got me out of there an hour earlier than anticipated.... We were on our way to the dealership next door when we spotted the used cars sign. It was still hot outside, and the dealership was closed, but a few salesmen were outside talking. We drove past them and wound our way around the lot to the far end, just looking. One of the salesmen walked out to where we were, introduced himself, and asked if he could help. I told him what we wanted in a car, especially one that my husband could easily get in and out of. He has some physical limitations. The salesman said if we would come back the next day he would have three cars lined up that would meet our needs. We went back. Mike Maschenik was true to his word, and we bought a used Ford Taurus. We are seniors and didn't want a big car note. Everyone who worked with us at the dealership was very considerate and attentive. They weren't pushy. We weren't looking to buy new, and even though we didn't, they treated us like we did.

I went into the dealership because the air condition went out on my leased 2012 Prius I had another month before the lease expired. I apologize in advance if I misspell a name. Charles Strawn, service technician, provided outstanding service with a positive attitude to me and had the mechanics diagnosing the problem. Charles found me later in the showroom to inform me the compressor went out and the part would arrive in 5 days. He left me with a great, positive experience, even thought I received negative car news. In the interim, I along with my wife were looking at the cars on the lot. My normal go-to-sales person Neil Williams was not working this day and I just had some questions on some of the vehicles. My sale representative Brian, the new guy, helped me. If he was unsure of an answer he would race to the Sales Manage Mr. "EJ" Enoch Jackson, another outstanding individual. So, I decided, yeah right, we decide to turn in the Prius. We met Rose. Bristol. She patiently explained the turn-in process and worked with us. The wife got the Rav4 and I received the Camry. I guess Brian didn't do too badly since he sold me two new cars. Off to the finance guy Mr. Karl King, we go. Again, we experienced an outstanding and enjoyable pleasant time, while we were signing our life away. i could not ask for a better man to work with. The reason why I named names is to have these fine individuals recognized. Another person Iwant to recognized is Todd Wilson in parts section. I even called corporate as well as Mr. Mike Neves, Toyota of McDonough General Manager, to share my great experiences. If you visit this place, these are the folks you want to meet. We may have been lucky to be at the right day, time, and place to have received outstanding service. I agree with some of the comments posed about the vehicle being over priced with extras. A possible solution is to order your vehicle without theses extra charges and be prepared to wait. The alternative is be ready to walk away. I look forward doing a review about the overall experience of turning in a lease vehicle. Read less

I have been to a lot of dealerships and I have heard a lot of promises, but the one thing that hooked me in with Toyota of McDonough was Brian Malone. He had someone he was training at the time, which could have made it awkward because he had to show her how to do various tasks, but he was very pleasant, always optimistic and the best part was the transparency. He did not hide numbers, he was open, honest and was just more interested in hearing what we wanted and what we would do versus trying to pin us into a deal that worked in their favor. Truly an experience I will not forget and the ONLY dealership I will ever recommend, along with a great salesman and finance manager Terrance! We need to get him listed on this site too!

Bought the Scion new when it was Hank Aaron. Dealership was better then. Have always taken my Scion to dealer for repairs. Took it in June 2015 to have oil changed, tires rotated. Got the car back, everything was good. Was told that the rear shoes were bad. I removed the rear tires to look at the brake shoes, and realized that three (3) wheel studs had been cross threaded. I cannot understand why the service dept didn't tell me this. I had to go to advance and buy 3 wheel studs. I called the service dept and was told that he would talk to the technician. Never heard another word. Toyota has lost a loyal customer. Honda which is next door does a MUCH better job at service. Charles HarperMcDonough, Ga.

Went into Toyota of McDonough to get one car serviced only to find it was on it's last legs. Time to buy a car, unexpectedly! Looked at cars on the lot, found a super sales person with great sense of humor and easy style. He did not try to pressure me into getting something I did not want. He explained the various features of the car and showed me how to use the options I wanted (blind side monitor, for example). He carefully filled out the paperwork, worked with the finance office and even helped me switch the license plate from the old to the new car. Overall, a truly great experience. My wife and I have been Toyota owners for more than 40 years so we are the "poster family for Toyota." Like Toyota of McDonough's motto says: (For us it was) The Right Place. Right Time. During an oil change, my oil pan opening was stripped. I was given a temporary oil plug and sent on my way without any knowledge of what had happened. When I proceeded to have my subsequent oil change at another dealer, I was informed of what had occurred and that I needed to have my entire oil pan replaced to avoid future problems. My family has driven Toyota products over the past 20 years. I have also stopped and required service in my travels at other Toyota dealers. But never, have I had to write such a review as this one.

The man that initially waited on me was not friendly, tried to sell and was not concerned about what I came in for an oil change! I guess he doesn't get incentive money for that service. I have never had the service person lay my paperwork in the cashiers window and yell my last name and walk away before I was up to the window. He yelled "Woods" our name is Wood. The cashier was great! She explained the reward program and was very friendly. We went to this dealership to test drive the vehicle I had been researching online. I had not planned on purchasing a car that day. Mr. Franchot West came out to help us and immediately got the key to the vehicle. We drove it and Mr. West patiently answered our questions. This car had more options on it than I had anticipated purchasing. Mr. West worked to help make it possible for us to make the deal. It was not a stressful negotiation in the least. My husband and I went to look at cars were not sure what we wanted but knew we were going to be trading my car. Ron Herring gave us a few minutes to look and then he came to see if he could help us with anything. It was raining and it never stopped him from coming out with a smile and welcoming attitude that put us both at ease. He proceeded to go over and look at the two cars I said I sort of liked. He told me things I had missed when looking at the car, He is a very straight up young man tells you the truth and does not hurry you ever. It was the best car purchase we have made. We were there for a couple of hours getting everything completed and being ready to drive off the lot once we decided that was "the car". I would send anyone to Ron Herring to purchase their car we think he was truly the best. Thanks for an easy trade experience.

This was an unusual experience ( in a good way).My sales person William Mason made this experience fun and stress free. I was with my nephew that was purchasing a car and I end up purchasing my very first NEW CAR. Mason was very helpful and answered my questions. He even helped me clean out my trade-in. Me and my boyfriend were at the dealership for 3 hours (first time car owner, no fault of the dealerships) but Willam Mason took away the frustration that could come with purchasing a car, completely easy. The sales experience was very lengthy and painful. It was the Service Manager who sold me the car. The actual sales staff were standing around and not doing anything. Odd. But, after making the deal for the car I wanted, I arranged for my own financing through my credit union and brought them a check. I later received a letter from Toyota stating that my loan request was denied. (My credit score is 825). I didn't ask for, nor apply for, financing from Toyota. The Toyota of McDonough loan guy was very sneaky, and I had to constantly tell him, "No" to his stern request that I finance my car through him, and that I buy extra stuff, like service agreements, etc.I brought the new car in for its first 5000 mile check after making a reservation. Nobody greeted me in the service bay, which was empty. So, I walked in and stood around until a service rep got around to waiting on me. In the meantime, another customer drove in to get his 10,000 mile check, which included an oil change.The second customers car was driven off, then mine. The second car was brought back in about 40 minutes. I watched as 15 minutes rolled by until the service rep advised the second customer that his car was ready. About 15 minutes after that, my car was driven back into the service bay. I waited another 10 minutes until the ponderously slow service rep called out my name to get my car.The actual service on the car was performed properly. I've had other vehicles in this shop and I have no complaints about the mechanics doing the work.On the plus side, this dealership is in close proximity to my home. Their inventory is good. The customer waiting area is large and comfortable, with fresh donuts and coffee.Negatives are with the sales department, finance department, and customer service. I'll probably still do business with them, only because I don't want to drive any farther than I have to. I would still recommend them, but be very wary of the sales and finance departments. Do your homework first!

We just had our 4Runner repaired by another Toyota dealer a few days ago at our expense because Toyota of McDonough refused to repair it. We purchased this vehicle new from them when they were Hank Aaron Toyota. We purchased service coupons good for 15 oil changes and also an extended warranty to cover repairs. All we used them for then was oil changes and nothing else. We didn't have a problem then. Then came the day our 4Runner needed a repair, a major repair. That's when we found out what kind of service department they really had. Our differential was bad with a loud roar and I even told them what was wrong with it when I took it to them.Their so called diagnosis was that the wheel bearings were bad instead. They replaced them. I picked the car up that afternoon and as I was driving away from their place it had the same exact roar that I brought it in for them to fix. I took it back and told them it was not a bit better than it was. They so called diagnosis it again and tell me that the tires are causing the noise now.They refused to do any more work on it. Our extended warranty expired three weeks later. 9532 miles later the roar was so bad it wasn't even safe to drive. The Toyota dealer that has repaired it now told us it could have even locked up. That is very dangerous. We just had the differential replaced and it is now whisper quiet. And by the way we have the same exact tires on it that Toyota of McDonough said was causing the noise. They are also whisper quit.This dealer has cost us a lot of money. $2603 to replace the differential. The money we spent for the extended warranty and deductible with them is money down the drain. When we took our 4Runner to them we thought that it would be repaired correctly and every thing would be fine. It wasn't. We even wrote Toyota Motor Sales a three page letter about this. Any automobile repair facility that would let a vehicle leave their place making the same exact noise that it was brought in for to repair and tell the customer that it had been repaired and then refuse to repair it when it was brought back is as unethical and dishonest as you can get.This is exactly what Toyota of McDonough done to us.

I was a little hesitant because my 2007 that I traded was still a great car, which I bought from them also, and I wasn't really wanting a car payment again plus I don't like the high pressure sales that usually comes with buying a new car. However, the sales man, Leon, made my experience great. He gave me just what I asked for and never tried to pressure me or sell me something that I didn't want. I brought my classic 2001 Toyota mr2 with 31k miles here for a popping problem when backing up. The moronic incompetent mechanics as they call them. The mechanic advised its because I was backing up on gravel and needed back tires. Now mind you their lot is NOT gravel and the noise came from the front NOT the back. So we did tires. Popping gets worse. The awesome mechanics say oh need front end alignment that will find it. Car was perfectly aligned, yet we do this and popping is ever present. On the 3rd trip back they tell me they torqued everything down to factory specs and fixed it. Well popping was there and worse. So took a trip to Fla and on this trip car begins to sway back and forth and have to white knuckle to maintain lane at 75-80 mph. Once again I go back. And the most awesome mechanics tell me this is caused by wind. WIND? seriously? must have been 8 hours of hurricane force winds on that trip yet took entire trip with top down. So, I take my car to a reputable mechanic and within 5 minutes he diagnosed the problem. Tire rods worn out need replaced. Imagine that weren't gravel nor wind. Of course he did ask if Toyota had boulders in their parking lot to cause that popping. So, after being repaired, I will be taking Toyota McDonough to court to recover my money for bogus xxx repair claims and tires I did not need. I would advise no one to EVER have their car looked at by these incompetent clowns! Guarantee I will never step foot in that dealership again! Afterall, they are Toyota. That's what they do, sale, work on yet they haven't a clue

Awesome crew and great team! They took care of my family and I from start to finish, and then continued to follow up with me after the sale. Charles provides excellent customer service. I actually left happy and feeling pretty good. And so far so good with the car! I am very happy with the overall service provided. I will be honest and say that all of the people working as service advisors have always been very nice and provided good customer service. I have dealt with a Mark M and a Michelle. Who both still work there and deserve to get recognized. This is the first time I have been sent a survey. My problem has always been with the repairs done on my car. But this time someone worked on my car that has worked on Toyotas for 25 years and he also done and a great job! I am very happy this time around and I will be back! Well the deal wasn't dead, the deal came through with a vengeance. My wife and I went down and did a sign and drive with no money down on a 2014.5 Camry SE and Mr. Poole was excellent with everything. I was sold a tire and wheel package I didn't want for $650.00...I told him I didn't want it and he said it wasn't costing me anything. Took so long to get out of there and he didn't go over the bill of sale I was just ready to get out of there. .Got home and seen I paid $650.00 for it... This is just shady practice.. Emailed the General Manager about with no response... The right front brake locked up on me the next day..Will never go back nor will never recommend...Buyers Beware...

Spent 3 days researching and looking at toyota camrys until I was blue in the face. I got alot of call backs and promises from several toyota dealerships whom really in the end did not live up to their promises. Toyota of McDonough did. I was contacted by phone by the Internet manager, Lenita Brooks. I also was called while on the way as well. When both the wife and I arrived we were immediately met by Thomas Cedric whom was very personable, helpful and friendly. I must admit that in the beginning I was a bit hesitant on going to a dealership. After all its been awhile since I bought a new car and the last time I had to fight off the rudeness and unfriendly atmosphere of the place. Not this time. It was completely oppossite. As a whole the dealership is a place I would recommend to others. Please see Lenita Brooks first and she will connect you with an awesome salesperson. Thomas Cedric was totally professional, friendly, knowledgeable of his products and would go out on a limb for you. thanks Toyota of Mcdonough. They told me that they can't control the prices on AutoTrader, and will only honor the price on their website, which was $4,000 higher than what was listed on AutoTrader. Salesman was excellent, it's the management that made this call. They did mention they might honor it if I had come in the day before. Overall, waste of time and will never return.

Took my car to Toyota of McDonough to get serviced had no Scratches on my car. went out to my car and there was scratches all over it. they said they will buff it out. But Brad the service advisor said the scratches were there before. i would know that there were none i own the car and look over it all the time. basically he said i was lying. Ill let the buff them out but if they don't come out they will paint it. Don't buy a car there or take a car there to get serviced. Rude service manager and service advisors

I would like to thank Kyle Gipson for the best experience I have ever had at a car dealership! This is the first time I have purchased a New vehicle, and it was nothing like I expected! Kyle Gipson listened to what I needed in my new car, and made the process as easy as possible! I've heard stories from other people about their bad experiences, and how they don't like the car buying process! I would recommend anyone looking for a new vehicle to go see Kyle Gipson at Toyota of McDonough! I knew I didn't have the best credit, and didn't know what type of vehicle I could get, or if I could get approved! He worked very hard for me, and got me into a 2014 Toyota Corolla! I would also like to thank Cleveland Tubbs, the sales manager! He came out and introduced himself and he was very professional! Thanks again, Kyle Gipson! I recieved a pre-approval via mail from one of my credit card companies for Toyota of McDonough, at first I just put the letter to the side but once I decide to set-up an appointment just to research my options and it went from there I spoke with the contact person listed on my letter and she told me to come in and she would introduce me to a saleman and that is how I met Kyle Gipson who took great care of me along with Cleveland tubbs and Karl King. We went to Toyota of McDonough not knowing what to expect and we are so happy we did. Not only did we get a great car for a great price but Kyle Gipson made our experience so wonderful. Kyle called Nd checked up on us a couple days later and has done everything in hi power to make sure we are nothing but happy. We thank him and will for sure be sending others to visit him and Toyota!!!!

The Toyota dealership in McDonough presented themselves with professionalism as soon as we arrived on the lot. Me and wife researched what vehicle we liked and attempted to buy new. Me and my wife can be a bit difficult when it comes to major purchases such as a vehicle but Kyle Gipson accepted the challenge. Although the dealership did not have a 2014 Limited 4Runner in stock, the dealership made it their business to get what we had been searching for. Kyle Gipson was instrumental in providing us with as much information as possible about the buying process of the vehicle. Kyle not only anticipated our needs as consumers, he was also a liaison between us (the consumers) and management. Often times communication is broken when it comes to the consumer and the dealership. However, Kyle was able to may the buying process seem painless. Thank you Kyle for your professionalism, persistence and tact. I would indeed refer this dealership to my cohorts, friends and family. Beginning with our initial internet inquiry; followed by an excellent face to face meeting with Brian Sumption (Sales Professional) to include a very professional sale negotiation; our experience was GREAT. Some extra accessories had to be ordered to be added to the vehicle, which took 4 days; but Brian followed up with phone calls to keep us informed. The accessories were added on a Saturday and while the add-on did take some time, the dealership was very professional and took customers to nearby establishments to purchase their own lunch. Overall our dealings to date have been GREAT.

This Toyota franchise openly practices deceptive pricing tactics, and the General Sales Manager is even quite brazen about it. Ask him about the "computer glitch" which resulted in all customers being double-charged for the nitrogen gas in their tires throughout December 2013 (if not before). Fixed yet? Check the MSRP your salesperson quotes you vs. the one posted on the sticker (snap a picture of the sticker before you walk in the door). Even more importantly, ask about dealer fees vs. document fees. Other Toyota dealerships in the ATL area will post "dealer fees" online and on the sticker of the car window. Like anything else posted on the sticker, these are negotiable, and, to some extent, understandable (dealers do have overhead costs to cover). Toyota of McDonough doesn't do it that way. They will tell you there are no dealer fees, and perhaps even offer you a "cost free" loan with your car. But if you take them at their word and don't inspect your documents carefully, you will later discover that they have added a "document fee" of $699 straight into your loan. This is not in any sense a document fee, of course, but simply a way of burying the dealer fee so that most people won't notice it, or question it. It is a deceptive practice that's been outlawed in some states (Minnesota caps doc fees at $50). It's also a terrible, cynical way to treat a customer, as someone to openly mislead and take advantage of by any means necessary. Refuse up front to pay this document fee, or better yet, only patronize a dealership honest enough to post its dealer fee online and on the sticker. Fortunately, that includes most other Toyota dealerships in the Atlanta metro area.

I went into the dealership prepared to purchase a 2014 Corolla. I had picked out two and was just waiting to see the numbers to decide which one I would be driving home in. I had been in the month before and almost bought a used car, but changed my mind. At that time they have valued my trade in (X-Runner) at $14,000. When I get there I was offered $10,000. I explained to the very nice salesgirl I was working with (Kayla Rampley) that there was no way my Toyota truck was worth $14,000 last month and only $10,000 this month. She went back into the little room to try to negotiate for me, and came back out with this man (Cleveland Tubbs). I knew as soon as he walked out I would be leaving. He came out, sat down in the chair, looked at the computer and then the paper on the desk, and said I hear we have a problem. He stared going over the numbers and I stopped him when he got to the trade-in amount. I explained I had done my research and I knew my truck was worth over $14,00 trade-in value. I also explained that just last month they offered me $14,000. He FINALLY looked at me (for the first time) and said your truck in NOT worth $14,000 it is only worth $10,000! Then he said NOW what else can I do for you. I said "give me my keys". He said "NO PROBLEM". He jumped up and came back and dangled my keys up in the air. Now I don't know if this man treated me like this because I am a woman, because I was a different race than him, or if he is just a JERK to all customers, but thanks to him I will be a new HONDA customer! Besides, why would I buy another Toyota when they depreciate in value $4000 a month!!This was not my first bad experience with this dealership. When we purchased the X-Runner a little over two years ago we had a very bad experience. About a week after we bought the Toyota Certified vehicle the clutch went out. Of course it did this while my husband was in middle GA. The dealership close to where he was towed it there and contacted McDonough Toyota fully expecting them to cover replacing the clutch, and covering the cost of the rental car so my husband could make it home that night. They were told that McDonough Toyota wouldn't be covering any of the cost. The GM of that dealership had to call and guilt the GM of McDonough Toyota into paying for some of the repair. The GM at the other location felt so bad at how we were being treated he covered the cost of the rental, so we ended up paying $100 out of pocket. Well, last year my husband hit a pothole and it busted the tire/wheel. He gets out to put on the spare and this Toyota Certified vehicle had no jack! He had to walk to a parts store and buy a jack. We file a claim on the insurance that was sold to us when we bought the truck (that covers wheel/tire). The insurance company wouldn't cover the claim because it has aftermarket wheels. It was the wheels that was on the truck when we bought it! So we were sold a useless insurance policy.

I came to the dealership to try to purchase a vehicle which I saw online, I made that very clear to all the sales agent including Melinda of Toyota of McDonough the internet Manager. After spending about an hour at the dealership I was very disappointed that i was never offered the internet price, instead she tried padding on that price saying the lowest she can offer me is $17220 plus taxes and fees, when she knowingly knows the internet price was $15500 plus the fees. This was unfair and a waste of my time at this dealership, the nonsense that some sales agents play continuously deceiving customers. Luckily I did not purchase there, but the fact that a manager would deceive a customer like that is horrible, Especially when I made it very clear that was listed online(Craigslist.com) Sad the things managers would do price padding that is illegal right!

We have purchased 3 vehicles through this dealership and up to this point had always had great service. This experience was very frustrating. We initially arrived at the dealership for an oil change and while killing time began talking with a salesman about a demo model they had marked down. We explained we were not in the position to buy because of the amount of negative we would be carrying but they convinced us to run the numbers to see if they could get in our price range. To our shock they did and we began the purchasing process. During the entire process we were told we would be financing the truck through Toyota just like our other truck was and at a 1.9% rate. At no point were we told they had not even begun making sure Toyota would finance this deal. After a couple hours we were on our way with our new truck. Unfortunately 9 days later we received a call from Tommy Poor informing us that they had been unable to secure financing. We immediately drove to the dealership to discuss face to face. At that time Tommy informed us we had two options: we could pay a much higher monthly payment or go through his credit union and all we needed to do was lie about where we lived and attended church so we could become a member. This was the last traw and we walked out. We returned the next day and returned the truck. I have never been treated with such dishonesty and lack of respect for the customer. I explained that had they just been up front and honest about the finance issues we would have understood and walked away with no hard feelings. Instead they were focused so much on moving a unit before month end that they lost a customer for life.

Have a home in FL and the Atlanta area, had been shopping around for a couple of months. Through the whole thing Brian communicated well with us, was very informative, honest, straightforward and not pushy which is rare with looking for a car. My wife and I took the trip back home from FL and it was definitely worth it. They had the car pulled up and ready for us to see, and lived up to everything they said they would do. Brian made it the most enjoyable, completely painless car buying experience we have ever had, and I have purchased quite a few cars. We have always believed in Toyota quality but with the level of service we got they will be the first place we check with when we need our next car and will be recommending anyone else looking for one to do the same. Everyone we dealt with from Brian to the management to finance gave us excellent service. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a Toyota or any other vehicle they could get for you!

I sent an email to this dealership about needing to trade in my Sequoia and downgrading to an FJ Cruiser. My payments were too high. I have cancer and my medical bills are too high to pay for this car payment anymore. I am also a single mom. I am upside down in the Sequoia and sent all the information about that to the salesman prior to coming out to the dealership. He told me to drive out there and it could be worked out to lower my payments. I had already filled out the finance application indicating I would not be putting any money down and would need to roll the negative equity into the loan. I was approved on the loan. All I needed was the numbers. The salesman, Mickey, had everything hours before I arrived including the VIN# on my trade-in. When I arrived he had done nothing trying to work out the deal. However, he was very nice and pleasant. I did wait a long time and he stated they were having computer problems. He finally came to me and abruptly said, "here's what your payment would be and you need to put $2,000 down". I told him I didn't have any money to put down and I indicated that in the loan application. He said, "then have a nice day" and folded his arms. He turned into the rudest, most arrogant, car salesman shark I have ever seen. I left in tears. I have since looked online and seen that the FJ Cruiser was posted online for $1200 less that what he was charging me on that paper plus wanting the $2000 in cash. Mickey did not care about helping a person who has cancer get a better postion in life to pay their bills - he only cared about selling a car. I'm not sure how he looks himself in the mirror each day.
