I definitely recommend using this dealership. Brandon Lake was on top of my purchase start to finish. Brandon always kept me well informed and had everything ready to go when it was time to pick up my purchase. I'd also like to give a shout out to Aaron, he was great to work with. A very personable guy. I definitely will return for my next car purchase, hands down.

We had a very pleasant experience dealing with Toyota of Olympia. We were able to take care of most of the details on-line and by phone after using True Car to come in contact with the dealership. We knew what we wanted and how much we wanted to pay. Everything was taken care of, we arrived, looked at the car, took it for a drive, signed the paperwork, and wrote the check. Very positive all the way. No hard sells or trying to make us buy additional services, etc.

I spoke with @Vernon Parker a few weeks ago. I was just looking to see what’s out there. Did some price comparisons. Found that Toyota of Olympia was the best priced for what I was looking for for my husband. Vernon was professional and very likable. I contacted him once I found the vehicle I was looking for. I was apprehensive if we could get financed for a few days we worked on financing. When we finally came to and agreement and Vernon Parker kept working with me until we got what fit our needs and our budget. What a great experience. We had all the paperwork & Financing done online , over the phone . Only took about 1 hour to complete paperwork and go home. They even delivered the vehicle as my husband met me at the dealership in a separate car. What a great place and would recommend going to see Vernon Parker & their amazing finance team. Thank you Toyota of Olympia for working with us and giving my husband a truck he worked hard for. They also have a restaurant in the building it’s open to the public. That’s an amazing feature to have especially when you’re waiting for service, a repair, buying a vehicle . You can get coffee, drink, biscuits and gravy we’re amazing. Stop in eat, browse for a new vehicle, Toyota of Olympia has great deals. The Kenyon Family Thanks You!

I had the pleasure of meeting Kirk Bennett through my friends who recently purchased a Toyota Corolla and a Toyota Tacoma in the same week . A little about me I am credit challenged but I have a steady income I was driving around in a car that was over 16 years old with 300,000 miles . I have always gone to the high interest car lots because that all I thought I was worth it turns out that I am worth a whole lot more a 2014 Toyota Corolla more !!! The whole process was amazing ,painless, fast and very personal . We worked everything out got into a payment I was comfortable (actually 50$ less than I was hoping for) because of the age of my car my air-conditioning was not working and it being over 100° in Washington right now Kirk hand delivered the car to my house and I live over an hour from the dealership!!!! I am blessed beyond compare to be part of the Toyota family my new car shows me that hard work dedication and challenge credit doesn’t mean that you’re not worth it

I corresponded with sales personnel on several occasions for a number days about a certain used vehicle that I was interested in. Because I live more than 125 miles away, I wanted to make sure the vehicle was the correct one for me before purchasing. When I was satisfied, I set up a meeting with my sales rep. Minutes before that meeting and only a few miles from the dealership, I was informed the auto was released as a demo for a few days. There was no attempt to hold the car for a brief time for my test drive, as I assumed I was promised; no attempt to notify me timely of the change, but rather I was offered a switch to a similar model two years older; and, only modest apologies offering to help reimburse me for 250 miles that I need not have driven. These sales practices speak volumes about this dealership's organization and customer service. I would be wary of dealing with them and would not recommend others do so.

Do not waste your time and money on this dealership. They don't give a rip about you as a customer, they only want the money. In fact don't buy a Toyota. I will not ever get another one. My wife and I really enjoyed buying our second Sienna from Brent. It was the 5th Toyota we have bought and he did it better than the previous four salesmen by far! He really knows his facts and helped us with every detail including questions we hadn't thought to ask. Brent is looking for repeat business not a short term quick sale. We'll buy from Brent next time for sure.

In the beginning of January 2016 I bought a used Kia Soul from the Toyota of Olympia dealer and had the unfortunant pleasure of having Dewayne Trotter as my salesperson. My wife and I had been looking at this vehicle for a few days and finally decided to do the deal. I have purchased a number of new and used cars in my life and never and I mean NEVER have I had such an unpleasant transaction. It took a total of 6 hours from start to finish to receive my car. I have purchased homes in much less time than this. The saleperson was obviously playing the waiting game with us for whatever reason. He made 2 trips to his Sales Manager to work out some pricing and then just seemed to disappear for extended periods of time. After 5 hours of this game playing we finally signed purchase papers and then had to wait an additional hour or more for our car to be detailed. Once we received our car and took it home we noticed that the "detailing" this dealership did was nothing more than a cursory washing at best. My wife commented that it looked as if they only squirted it with a hose. The door hand pulls were still dirty and grimey from the previous owners. It was evident no effort was made to clean the doors pulls and other areas in the car. I mentioned this to Erika during a phone conversation a few days later and she obviously passed it on to Dewayne who contacted me and offered to have my car detailed again. I told him no thank you and that I felt that waiting 6 hours the first time was long enough and I did not want to be trapped in another prolonged visit. Additionally it also took me 2 weeks and a number of calls to get my second key. There is no way I would ever consider doing business with this dealer again no matter what. I have previously purchased cars in that automall from different dealers and the transactions went off with hardly any problems or lengthy waits. If you value your time as I do you would be better off to go somewhere else.

I made an appointment to test drive a 2014 Corolla LE ECO at a specific time. After waiting over 45 minutes because my sales person was with another customer, I walked out. I was chased down while driving out of the parking lot and lured back in by a member of the internet team. The car I had requested to test drive was located at another lot...more wait time. Needless to say, after failing to negotiate to the Costco pricing (and was asked to pay the advertising fees) I left and found a dealer out of town that was able to negotiate a better deal for my trade and a better price for the Corolla.

I was looking at a used Chevy Avalanche. I had been looking for months when this one showed up. I contacted Kayla who said "If you are coming I will have it pulled off the lot". I told her that I would be there between 5 and 6pm. It took me 2 hours to drive there and made it there at 5:45pm. When I arrived a salesman asked if the could help me and I told him that I was looking for Kayla and he informed me that she was located at a different lot but wondered what I was looking for. I had seen the Avalanche getting washed in the back and told him that was what I was here to look at. He told me that he just sold it. I will never deal with them again. You don't make promises and not keep them.

I wrote a review the other day about my experience buying a used 2002 Camry and the problems with the alarm system and not getting all the keys and remote. I just received a call from the Used Car Manager who listened to my concerns, and offered me another master key and another remote, free of charge. He stated his purpose is to make sure that customers are satisfied. I was impressed by his actions, so I am now upgrading my rating. This dealership does have high quality used cars, I don't have an issue with the actual car, and the problems I had have been resolved to my satisfaction.

I bought a used Camry here, after doing a lot of research, on both the dealer and the actual car. After test driving, I decided to buy it. During the negotiating process, they asked me THREE times if I wanted an alarm system installed for $800. I kept telling them no. So I finally get the car, but they only gave me the sub-key. I didn't notice until I got home that I had no other keys, or remote, in the package.Returned next day, and was told that there were no other keys, or remote. That seemed a bit odd to me, as the previous owner had kept the car in pristine condition, that there were no master keys (the car is supposed to have two) or remote. They told me, "it happens." So I went and got two copies made of the key I did have.I found out later that if I tried to open my trunk with the sub-key they gave me, the alarm went off! The alarm I declined paying $800 extra for. It was already installed, it had been installed by the previous owner.I had to go back to the dealer to get a remote, since I could not find one online, because I did not know what series alarm system I had, and didn't know how to work it. It was armed, and I had no way of resetting it, and no way to get in the trunk from outside the car.Every time I went back to the dealer, they insisted I had to contact the salesman, but he had given me a phone number that was a disconnect, and was located down the street. Both times I went up there, I had to wait until they contacted him, then was told he was busy, so then I could state my needs. I just wanted a simple answer both times: 1. Was there another key or remote? and 2. How do I work the alarm system (which I was told it did not have, and declined paying $800 extra for)I ended up having to pay over $100 for a remote (and to get it programmed) for an alarm system I did not want, just so I could disarm it and get into my trunk. The whole thing left me feeling like I was being lied to: that they were trying to get me to pay $800 for an alarm (that was already installed), and when I declined, they kept the remote. The guy in parts was really nice and helpful, but the service managers were just short of being outright rude. -------------------------------------------Update: I received a call from Brian Johnson, the Used Car Manager, who listened to my concerns, apologized, and offered me another master key and another remote, free. He stated that his purpose was to make sure that all customers are satisfied. I was impressed by the follow-up and by his offer to make things right. So I am upgrading my review. If you are in the market for a used car, they do have good quality cars, and if you have a problem, contact Brian Johnson, the Used Car Manager, and he will take care of it.

This Dealer has a sub-par service facility that is not properly sized for the volume of customers they experience.A recent express oil-change/routine inspection took four hours. If you intend to wait for your vehicle it is like visiting a dealerof yore where you wait in cramped quarters, wander the showroom -grounds, or take a hike. Unpleasant enough experience that I don't want to repeat, even if must drive to Tacoma or Chehalis. I'm told a new service facility is in the works. Let's hope it ultimately measures up to many other, better Toyota service experiences that I have had with dealers in Oregon and Virginia.

The reviews of this dealer thus far have been quite accurate. I went into this dealer & test drove a vehicle, discussed my trade in & did some paperwork. I was told I'd receive a call the next day. Noon arrives the next day and no call. I decided to call them again and I was told I'd be contacted back later that day. That never happened and i ended up calling them again late in the evening. Frustrated, I informed the person who answered the phone of their current rating on cars.com. Which i'd just discovered. I also reflected if things are this bad it must be obvious amongst themselves.I'm not sure if i wasn't aggressive enough or what, but it certainly seems to take a lot to motivate the staff here. They just don't care.

This is your typical stealership that will say anything to sell you a car. They played the waiting game with me so I was there for hours longer than I should have been. They do this to get you mentally invested i it to make it harder for you to leave without buying a vehicle. The finance guys try everything in the book to get you to buy an extended warranty, protectants, etc. They try to make you feel like an idiot for not financing an extended warranty that doesnt even begin until the factory warranty ends. When that doesnt work they try to lay a guilt trip on you. It reminded me of that scene in the movie Fargo. The whole thing was insulting. If you really want an extended warranty, there are dealerships in other states that will sell you the same warranty for less than half the price that these guys are asking. A quick google search will save you a ton of money. To be fair, none of this is unique to this dealership. Its all pretty standard when buying a new car. I probably wouldnt have bothered to rate this dealer except i have a cosmetic part on my vehicle that came damaged and they refused to replace it. Probably a $20 part.I just went to a different dealer to have my problems fixed. No arguing or begging was required. Why is that? Probably because they want to be the next dealer to have an opportunity to try and sell me an extended warranty......

Recently purchased a used vehicle and didn't even drive 60 mi until the check engine light came on. There's certain things that dealerships are supposed to check before sending the auto out. After 2 tries, I finally got the "work done" list but never what they checked. My salesman was good but not available. I called service to have them check the light and had to get forceful saying yes, it's a used vehicle but I didn't even get 60 miles before this came on. There's just certain times the dealer should offer to at least look at it if only for their reputation. I had to insist and say I am not paying for this check. Took well over an hour to get "it's the o2 sensor. Well over an hour. I've since been told they know the problem in minutes. I was told by service, the part will be ordered and taken care of. OK, great. I went 1 week, heard nothing. Sent a text to my salesman and he wasn't aware of but went forward with this. I now have a recorded voice mail and text message saying the GM was ordering the part and going to fix for me. Now it's over 2 weeks later and I've heard nothing except "fax me your insurance coverage please" just this week. My response. "Sure when I get my service appointment scheduled!" I said 2 weeks to order an o2 sensor, NOT unless it was from Japan. Still nothing. This week I learned a friend, a shop teacher has been arguing with them for two years over something they say is not happening. He's gone to video taping his starts to prove the problem. For me, I would never again deal with Toyota of Olympia. Their customer service stinks. If you can't expect someone to follow through what is left in voice message and text to help their customer, a minor fix, then NOT interested. And no, I'm not faxing the insurance papers. The lender has them.

Jeff (their internet/wholesale/fleet dealer) contacted me quickly after the Costco referral, and was knowledgeable and professional on the phone and in person. When he left for his weekend I was passed off to someone that "works with him". The next day, the 2nd guy seemed very busy and not very interested in working with me. I was then passed off to a retail sales person that started in with all the retail tricks. The Customer Service Rep that also contacted me wasn't much help as she wasn't a sales person and was limited to getting brochures, water and passing on messages. After letting them know that I had driven an hour away to a different Toyota dealer and made a down payment on a car, Gary (a sales manager) called and left a message. I called Gary back the next day and he didn't seem to know anything about me or that he had called, nor did he seem to care. Now my question is, do I expect anything different from their service department?

I buy many vehicles over the course of the year as a Purchasing Director for a Oil & Gas Exploration company. So I have delt with many, many salespeople and dealerships across the United States. It is a rare occurance when you run into the 'perfect storm'.Heidi at Toyota Of Olympia showed superior service, knowledge and understanding of all the aspects of our purchase. She was very attentive to our needs and always willing to help find solutions to any problems. I can tell she must be a great leaderat Toyota Of Olympia by the way she involved others in the solving of our concerns and then constently following up with us to make sure we were happy and sastisfied with our purchase. She should be an example of how to treat a customer to all of your other employees. The all around Toyota of Olympia was a great one and we will be back purchasing trucks from you again and again.

Spent two hours on the internet to find a new 2011 Prius to take advantage of Toyota's financing offer. The only one within a 35 mile radius with the options I wanted was at this dealer. Called and spoke with Jeremy to confirm the car was still available and made an appointment to look at the car the next day. At 4:15 pm was 60 miles away and drove through two hours of rush hour traffic to keep my appointment. Walked in and was told the car had sold that morning and was told they tried to contact me. I received two calls from the dealership confirming the appointment and no others so I have proof this was a lie. Classic bait and switch. Why do business with a company that still employs these old sales tactics when there are many honest dealers to choose from. Stay away from these peopleUpdateBrian Johnson called to follow up on my initial review. He researched the car and found that it had sold. He offered to sell me any Prius on the lot for $500 under invoice. He also promised to talk to the salesperson about the situation. No way to verify if that actually happened but I note that the car is no longer shown on the dealer website. My negative review got their attention and they responded. That shows that at least they care about their online reputation. I have revised my review to neutral.

This dealership is over priced on parts and service worth the drive up to Tacoma to save a few bucks especially during this time. I have had to price check them on several things. You can't tell me parts in other areas are more expensive then others. Sorry Olympia is not LA or NY City.

I must write about the great service I get at Toyota of Olympia.I have owned many new vehicles, and been in many new car service departments. This is one of the two best ever. (the other is Hanson Subaru around the corner)They are a well organized team, and I mean TEAM in that everyone is obviously working together. They are really serious about taking good care of you. I feel like part of the family. One time, the service manager, Brian, fixed a problem he could have delegated. But no, he looked at it, consulted his team members, and then got the necessary supplies and fixed it himself. Its clear he's setting the standard for his crew, and the bar is HIGH.I have dealt with Service Advisors Brock and Fred, Oil Service guys Jeremiah and John (as well as their crew) and they are all on it!! I have never taken the time to write such a review, but the superior service at Toyota Of Olympia, compels me to tell others.

The minute I walked into the service department, I was greeted my Fred Chase. He was warm and attentive to the fact that I was having a full service on my car and needed it complete by 2:00 PM to be on time to pick my son up at school. John, the shuttle driver took me to the nearby mall, recorded on a clip board when I needed to be back, and also offerred the service of transporting me to another place if I needed transportaion and my car was not ready yet. (I chose to walk where I shopped on a beautiful fall day.) I was phoned around 11:00 to be told the only concern were cracked belts, which they had the parts for and were able to replace. I was called again before 1:00 to be told my car was finished. They confirmed my pick-up for 2:00 and accomodated my request to get my car then if possible. I had excellent customer service upon my return, fixing my key-less entry that was acting up, and putting on a new license frame to replace one torn-up in another establishments car wash. They went out of their way to do anything I asked in a timely manner.

Did not do the safety inspection/repairs I discovered during my evaluation of the vehicle, let alone anything else that was wrong. Also did not remove the dog odor. And after my initial test of the vehicle I found the parking brake to be bad. Again, that should have been caught during the supposed "STANDARD" inspection and repair process (which is why I was told NOT to list those items I found on the additional work form because they will do it as part of their standard procedure. Also why I couldn't take the vehicle the day I purchased it.) They did change the air filter. What I found during my evaluation:Driver's Seat belt won't retract, sometimes delays locking.Front Alignment off (pass front tire curbed HARD)Exhaust leakHorrid Dog odor.Since pickup of vehicle:Parking brake bad (probably ALL brake pads bad.)Of course I got the usual lies about the price, even after Jeff argued he was going by Kelly Blue Book, showing me BLue Book and insisting on almost 2K ABOVE. He also claimed you paid just under 7K for the vehicle, but made a profit on the trade. Actual form provided shows 5500 on trade.Disgusting.

Sam Ellis worked to help me get my auto repairs under warranty thus saving me thousands of dollars. Because of his attention to detail and dilligence in his profession he helped get the job done. I would recommend auto service and sales to anyone that I know who needs quality service and repairs. Mr. Ellis deserves a promotion - Excellent job!

They honored the price generated by the USAA buyer system, so I was satisfied from that perspective. The salesmen were friendly and pretty low pressure, though their knowledge of the vehicles left a bit to be desired-they didn't know where the oil filter was located on the model I was looking at. One of them also took the pains to show me a fancy telescoping trailer mirror, even though it wasn't available on the trim package I was looking at. This is probably a matter of training. It took three tries at Toyota USA's help line to get the answer to the availability of the mirrors.KC was the person who discussed dealer options after the main sales person was done with us. We'd gone in with a detailed list of what we wanted from the Toyota on-line configuration software, so she didn't pressure us on much, except she was pushing the security system.Cal was the "finance" person who finalized the contract. This was the worst part of the experience, since he was pushing the after market security system (the same as KC) and the extended service contract. Given that Toyota doesn't give a decent warranty on trucks (only 3 years/36,000 miles), he really pushed it and almost convinced me that the thing was going to fall apart as soon as we left the lot. Since we had done our own financing and came in with a check, I really didn't want to put up with this.

We just purchased our second vehicle from this dealership. Not only is the staff friendly but they listen to your needs. There is no high sales pressure which is present at many dealerships. It is a no hassel sales experience which is the main reason we won't go to any other dealership.

We were not told about electrical system being in need of repair. Salesman knew of this condition. When he tried to get milage he had to close door of truck and restart truck two times to get dash lights to come on. I didn't put 2 and 2 together until the next day when I tried to use cruise control. It did not work and milage was blank. No lights on dash. When I used turn signals, after making turn and signal turned off the windshield wipers came on. Switch for wipers was off.Since I now know of this electical problem I have notice when dash lights are on there is no problem, when blank everything goes goofy.Contacted Ford Motor Company to check on carfax information, carfax I was given by salesman said 1 item needed checked but Ford said everything had been taken care of.I feel this problem should have been taken care of or noted by dealer as safety is envolved. As a side note, this transaction was being used as a preview to buying two(2)new Toyota Rav4's.With our experience here we will be checking with other dealers.Remember, how you treat customers will reflect on future business.I also will be returning your license plate brackets, as I won't be doing any advertisement for you.Ray Monroe

I feel so blessed to have had Sam and Brian help me whle I was in such a stressful situation. They worked with me and explained everything in such detail. Both were very friendly and made me feel welcomed. I had an issue with another dealer and they were not meeting any satisfaction. In fact, paying them to fix my daughter's car with the result of more problems agrivated me and added to my increasing stress level. However, when i came to Toyota of Olympia it was just the opposite. I am happy with these results and am glad to know there are others who can have the same experience if they see these two wonderful employees. I just wanted to pay them gratitude and thank whoever employed them. Thank you so much and keep up the substantial work!Sincerely,L. Smith and daughter

Time and again, I've experienced great customer service with this dealership. From September 2007 with the sales staff. Most recent experience with Fred in service, he took the time to research rim, tire prices to give me the best deal. He had quotes for me to choose from. I couldn't be more pleased with the service, repair, parts and prices from this dealership. I plan to continue owning a Toyota.

Wow - Just had a great experience w/Toyota of Olympia Service Department! I took my car in for a repair - had something not go quite right, but not that bad - but they more than made up for it! Some things that really impressed me were that I was taken right to the manager w/out having to ask, he told me exactly what they could do for me w/out me having to even ask for it, he followed through on everything he said, and they were very accomodating in every way possible. I really don't think I have had this great of customer service ever! They went way above and beyond my expectations - I'm still pinching myself :)Great experience, friendly staff, and I will definately go back!

For seven years I've taken my Prius to Toyota of Olympia for service, maintenance and repair. On my first visit Fred Chase was my service guy. I was so impressed with his work that I make it a point to get him every visit. (No, I'm not his father, uncle or friend -- just a happy customer in all respects. An example: today I thought the Prius might be leaking fluids. I went right in and Fred put it up on rack right away. It wasn't a leak -- no charge -- I was on my way with peace of mind.

We are so thankful to Noel Crowley for his work in getting us a quote on a Toyota Corolla, and then guaranteeing that would be the price after we drove an hour to get there. We are grateful, also, for his patience with us. We arrived at a late hour on Saturday [April 30, 2011], and crowded into his 'weekend' time with his family. And, to think that he could still be gracious to us!Cal Geppert was hard working and polite. His job I don't envy, however. He was the priveleged soul who had to uncover and offer services with previously hidden costs to us, and that made me cry. I imagine that the majority of car dealerships adopt this practice of hitting folks with maintenance agreements, theft protection, and undercoating, paint & interior protection costs at the closure of their deal-making on new cars. I guess I must accept this practice as traditional, but it didn't set well with either my husband or me. It would have been far better for our psyches to know up-front what would be offered so that we could have considered it prior to the purchase of our new car. Our new Corolla will definitely be appreciated, but it will take time for this cloud to fade.

He not only gave me the best deal this side of the Mississippi, his follow through is amazing. I feel very comfortable trusting him. A great family man and hard worker and knows his business. I felt like a Big Brother was watching out for my best interest. I was in the Banking field for many many years and have dealt with thousands of dealers. Frankly, he is the Head of the Mountain. Many Thanks Toyota of Olympia. I enjoyed working with the entire team there! KS

Can't wrap my head around this dealership. Entering this establishment you are met by mostly sober faces and flat affect salesmen. I gave sales a 4 rating strictly on how I was treated by Jeffery Johnston who was very friendly and low pressure.OK, I committed a no-no and went shopping with a trade in that still had a lien. The vehicle was 16 month's old and very low miles. Obviously I wanted to get out from under this car and they knew it. I was given a low ball value but managed to walk away with some equity and a good price for the vehicle I bought... end of story. As I'm waiting to go to finance I over hear a conversation between another salesman and a customer. Customer: "I think I would like to take the Yaris for a test drive." Salesman, after long pause: "Yah, I suppose we could do that." What... don't these guys work on commission? I would think the salesman would be doing back flips at the thought of a new sale! Now enter the finance department. No names here, to protect the innocent. As usual you enter this next battlefield with much higher pressure for extended warranties and Lo jack. Opted out of the extended warranty but bought the lo jack because I have it on all my vehicles. OK, everything's finished, papers are signed, I'm given the tour of the new vehicle functions. etc.Now I've got my new Tacoma and off I go happy as can be... Right? Two weeks go by....I'm looking at my bank account and notice the bank is still taking out payments on the vehicle I traded in. Red flags go up along with my blood pressure, "have I just been scammed!?"Called Toyota of Olympia, "you guys haven't paid off my trade in"! Finance department: "Yes we sent the check 2 days after you were here. Must be the banks fault". I called the bank: "No, we have no record of the payment". Now I'm hot and call again and raise more hell. Long story short, I was told that they sent the check to the wrong bank. What, for gods sake this is the electronic age don't businesses do electronic transfers? Well, after the dust settled and they realized the mistake all payments were made and everyone's happy but only after a month of hand ringing on my part.Simple human error? It's surely possible but I would expect that after years of selling cars a dealership would be a well oiled machine (no pun intended) and have this procedure down.I don't know if I will take my vehicle back for service here. After I had the Lo jack installed and went to pick up the truck. The service department just handed me the paperwork and said "The truck's somewhere in the back, if you have any questions just give us a call". By contrast I recently purchased two vehicles from the Honda dealership next door where service is lavished on the customer. After having Lo jack installed there I sat down with the finance department again and everything was explained and no stone unturned.I usually have done much research and am prepared when I go to buy a car and know what to expect, what my trade in is worth and what I should pay for a new vehicle. But this financing snafu was surely a new experience. My fault, should have paid for the trade-in before I went shopping. Bottom line, I had a very good experience with Jeffery Johnston and make any recommendations based on his professionalism. This dealership will negotiate, don't be shy.

I took my Tundra in to have the 4x4 checked out as it would not engage. I was charged $95 just to have them look at it. After waiting an hour, they informed me a switch needed to be replaced at a cost of $90 for the part and $95/hr. for labor which would take another hour for the repair. I perodically peaked through the shop window to see if my truck was being worked on. After 10 minutes I noticed it was no longer in the shop and anticipated them letting me know my truck was ready. After waiting approx. 10 minutes and no one calling my name, I decided to take a walk outside to see if maybe they were testing it outside. I soon discovered my truck was parked in the back of the dealership. I went back inside and waited another 15 minutes and still no one notified me my truck was ready. I then went to the service desk to find out what was going on. After waiting another 10 minutes they let me know it was ready to go. Afer getting the bill, I noticed they charged me not only for the $95 inspection fee but an additional 1 hour of labor at $95/hr. for a repair that only took maybe 10 minutes at most. I disbuted the charge, but was told that this was the standard time to complete the repair. It is my belief they knowingly tried to make it appear the repair was taking an hour to complete by parking my truck behind the dealership for over 30 minutes after the repair was made. The sad thing is, this also happened to another person in the waiting area while I was there. She too waited an add'l 25 minutes after her car was repaired. I for one will never return to this dealership and I recommend you avoid them as well, unless you want to get ripped off.

I decided to stop in at Scion of Olympia today to see if I could find some parts for my newly purchased 2006 xB. Was greeted at the door by a salesman who held the door open for me, but looked less than happy and didn't even try to make conversation. He showed me where the parts counter was and left. The rest of the sales people there were all standing around talking to each other, so I went to check out the flyers and no one even tried to talk to me. I was very surprised, as I stopped by this same dealership last year and had great service, but this time around it wasn't so great. Maybe it was because I already own a Scion, but it would have been nice if someone there had at least attempted to make conversation. How do they know I wasn't there to look at a new car? Most car dealerships are happy to see someone driving a car they sold, no matter how old the car is (in this case, only 4 years old).

Great service by Jeff during initial visit/test drive. I felt like he was very up front with me, friendly, and not at all pushy. There was a bit of a wait when I came in to purchase and finalize the paperwork but that was just because the dealership was busy with many customers purchasing at that time. KC was very friendly and personable and helped me choose some additional options with ease and set a convenient appointment for one minor repair. Also, the person who finalized all the financing and paperwork was very efficient and explained everything well (I forgot his name!).

I ordered a 2010 Toyota Prius from Toyota of Olympia. It was my intent to take advantage of the temporary exemption from the Washington State sales tax which expires July 30, 2009. A price was agreed on and a $500.00 deposit made. The allowance for my used Toyota Corolla was discussed and the car was inspected and driven by dealer personnel. The used car allowance was discussed by the salesman with another employee whom I took to be the used car manager. I was then led to believe that the trade-in allowance would be $8000.00. After a wait of several weeks the new Prius arrived and my wife and I arrived with checkbook in hand to exchange the trade-in for the Prius and pay in full. The Prius was bright and shiny and the keys were dangled in front of us. At this point in time (after further back room discussion with a third party) it was suggested that we sell the Prius ourselves. And finally we were informed that the used car manager would only allow $6200 for the trade-in and we would need to pay an additional $1800.I consider this action contemptible and unethical and would discourage anyone from dealing with Toyota of Olympia.

If you take your vehicle in for repair to this dealer, make sure to review your car carefully before taking it home. I took my car in to have the carpeting changed and have the interior detailed. It took several trips to the dealer to have this work completed. When I finally took the car home, they had not installed the foot rest correctly. It came loose a week after I picked the car up. When I took the car back, the dealer kept my foot rest and promised to order the necessary parts to install my foot rest. They never did call me, they lost my foot rest, and they refused to rectify the situation, saying it was due to normal wear and tear that the foot rest had come loose.

Toyota of Olympia has been very good to me. I once purchased a used car from them, but soon I wanted my old car back. They were very kind and returned my old car to me. I continued to go back throughout the next year and drove many cars. They were always helpful, and never pushed for a sale. After I found my Highlander, I traded my car in and received an excellent deal as well as great service. Our salesperson, Chris, is an amazing, honest, and helpful person. I have found they also have an excellent reputation around town. They are number one with me!

I am a costco member and attempted to use their car service. I received a referral to toyota of olympia. 2 weeks went by and I never heard from them, they were supposed to contact me within 24 hours. I sent a second request to costco and the customer advocacy person told me that Randy had been trying to call the number I provided but had trouble with it and was there another number or email that he could contact me at. Well everyone else has no trouble calling me at the number I provided and I have voicemail, so I know that he never attempted to call me. I provided an email to which he could contact me. I never received anything. The customer advocate called me (they did not have any trouble using that number!!!!) I filed a complaint with them, letting them know that Toyota of Olympia is making costco look really bad and that they should consider not doing business with them. Anyway it was their loss, I went toyota of puyallup and bought 2 cars!!
