All in all, I received good customer service at Hyundai. There were some issues (not being told a roadside assistance contact), and sitting in a bare office for more than an hour plus while waiting for the paperwork, when I could of expedited part of the sale by going home to get my checkbook during that wait instead of waiting for the paperwork to be done AND then going to get my checkbook and driving back to the dealership.

I was extremely pleased with your dealerships staff that I had contacted during my visit and subsequent purchase. The facility was clean and comfortable. There were no hidden pressures and no surprises in the purchase. Everything was straight forward and moved very steady through the entire process. My wife and I are very pleased with the car. While the car was being washed and readied for me to take possession of it, I visited with your service department service advisor Samantha McGath. She was very helpful in answering my service related questions. I then spoke with your parts person who was also very informative on parts and prices. I haven't experienced the quality of work yet so I can't rate that, but definitely feel everything so far has been an excellent experience.

I came in to get an oil change on my car but also wanted to look at new accents for my son. Trisha showed me around and demonstrated all the features on an accent. I could tell she has a passion for her job. She understood I wasn't buying today and still took the time to answer my questions and go on a test drive with me. I felt at ease and had a good time. Everyone in service was great and really honest with me. Great prices!! Will be back with my son to purchase his first vehicle!

They were very accommodating and understanding. I needed a new car but had ties to my old one, so it wasn't something I was looking forward to doing. They really went out of their way to remove a license plate cover that had sentimental value to me. It might seem silly to some, but meant so much to me. Even though I just wanted to buy the car and go, they still were very thorough and made sure they went over everything. They insisted I test drive the car :) Much appreciated!

I wish I could say great things about this dealership, but they fell short on so many aspects. Came in ready to purchase a vehicle and was assured that they would be able to meet my price MULTIPLE TIMES. Ended up at this dealership for nearly two hours filling paperwork, and waiting like a fool. After going back and fourth between rooms, the salesman finally came back with a number, DOUBLE the number we had talked about numerous times. Claiming he made a mistake while still pushing me to agree upon a price not remotely appropriate. Absolutely not acceptable. They have the same old tactics salesman used in the 70's to keep around and weasel people. Save your time and money. Go elsewhere. Or bring your smartphone and know your cars value right from the get to avoid Vancouver Hyundai's tactics.

If I could do it again I wouldn't I would turn and run has far away as I could. They did not listen to what I wanted and when I showed them they would not budge and in fact raised the price which with the price I am paying paying I could have something has simple as the color I wanted or liked. I felt like I was the only one cooperating and they were winning by cheating. I would not recommend this place at all.

We were quite surprised by the high quality and reasonable price for the Santa Fe. The ride is smooth and the numerous features loaded into this vehicle make each drive a great experience. The air conditioned seats are more than a person could ever ask for. And our salesperson was a joy to work with. She continued to educate herself on the features of this vehicle right on through the completion of the sale. No pressure and plenty of smiles.

Great friendly staff. Fixed the scratch that was on the car when we bought it. We're knowledgeable about the car. Only complaint is every car on the lot was dirty with dust and pollen. We signed the papers too late to get it washed at the car wash and when we brought it back to get the scratch fixed they forgot to wash it. Other than that Nick was nice and friendly and not pushy at all.

I purchased my car here in 2014 and had a great experience. I have been bringing my car here for service since, and had good experiences. Recently I had to have my car towed to the dealership for service, as I had two flat tires. Unfortunately for us, the flats happened on Christmas eve. Jason, the service manager, offered to stay open later past when they were closing early to receive our car - wow! That didn't work out due to the tow, but it was so great that he offered.We brought the car there on the 26th, and after some initial confusion with a service writer that wasn't 100% up to speed on tires, Jason took charge of the car and made sure the tires were repaired that day, and at no charge. He also helped us with a spare tire kit (not provided with the car when we bought it, it only came with the repair kit) to make sure we were being proactive to not have this issue again.Jason went above and beyond helping us, and provided great customer service. We will be bringing our car there again for service.

Recently stopped by Vancouver Hyundai to look at cars, skeptical of course having to deal with a pushy and cheesy carsalesman, however when I got there and I was nicely greeted by a kid named Kyle Stewart who not only treated me like a friend offering his kind service and even bought me a beverage from his own wallet, but he was also very knowledgeable about his product and so far he has been right and I love my vehicle I purchased from him! Because of Kyle I will recommend this exact dealership and tell them to ask for Kyle himself so they too can expo wrench this awesome car buying ezpierence, Hyundai has a very special worker within this young gentlemen! As a man shopping alone for a mini van it was tough to walk into the show room for help... Despite what I am sure was a man to man need to steer me in a different direction, Avery drove me over to the vans and was very supportive as I took my time looking through each. Don't get me wrong he didn't completely let me go the van path without at least pointing out other options that would keep me from being the butt of years of jokes. This was the first car shopping expeiance I didn't hate and think these guys might have it figured out. It is fair to say that I did not purchase a car from them but I will be coming back to them before going elsewhere.

Not much to rate. I wasn't told that EASY CARE was an extra 4,000 dollars and it took me several weeks and 6 different phone calls to get someone to finally send a check out for it to be fixed. My phone number is wrong on my account and gave the right number each time I called and the 3 times I came into the dealership. It was such poor service. We all make mistakes our get busy just get back to people.

This was the worst purchasing experience I have ever endured. The finance manager here held our interest rate hostage because we did not want to purchase the additional protection. If we purchased the protection she would give us an interest rate of around 3% but if we did not the rate was 6%. They also slipped in a $500 alarm charge that we did not ask for or concept to being placed on the bill. The sales rep said their GM would reach out to us to discuss the issues but we never heard from him. This dealership does not prize themselves on being honest or conducing their business in an ethical manner. I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from here. They were more interested in making a one time sale instead of building an impactful relationship with their customers. Stay away!

He listened to what I wanted and needed, didn't pressure me to upgrade, didn't waste my time, and I went home with a much nicer car than I ever imagined I could afford. I had an amazing experience with Vancouver Hyundai. I knew what car I wanted and that's the car I ended up with. Paul showed me the car, we went for a nice test drive, and I got the car for a great price. A beautiful white Hyundai Sonata Sport with lots of bells and wistles. This was not the turbo model as I believe these are peppy enough to get up and go down the freeways without the turbo. I am 6'4 250 and I fit great in this car. It has plenty of leg room and head room. Amazing car, amazing value. I have had plenty of people at work comment on what a nice car I bought, and driving down the road I've seen some lookers checking out the car. Please check out this dealership! They have a great and knowledgable sales team and some beautiful cars and sports utility vehicles.

I brought my Hyundai Tucson in to repair an exploded sunroof. The Hyundai dealer had my car brought over to the Ford repair center since they are all owned by Vancouver Auto Group. After agreement with my insurance company, the service center stated it would take 9 days to repair the damages. Those 9 days have come and gone, and the completion date has changed 5 times. It has now been 3.5 weeks and I still do not have my vehicle back yet. The service center and dealership would not offer a loaner vehicle to offset the delays, but instead offered an in-house rental car for a "discounted" price. If you want your vehicle repaired in a timely fashion, and on time, I would take it somewhere other than the Vancouver Auto Group.

My wife and I visited the dealership to preview cars for a new purchase (either new or used car) and Todd was quick to greet us on our arrival. We told Todd our circumstances and what we were looking for in a vehicle, also narrowing the equivocal models to make a clear picture, and Todd knew precisely where to take us. Todd took us to a car on his lot fitting our basic description of what we were seeking and gave us five minutes inspecting the car without hassling us. He took the initiative to grab the keys from inside and after our initial inspection offered to allowing us to take it for a brief drive.Todd was truthful with us throughout the experience and did not leave anything to question. He told us what he did and did not know on all of our questions, but he was quick to fetch the information from the appropriate parties to ensure we were well informed. Todd did a great job, save for chewing Tobacco and drinking Diet Mountain Dew (personal jab at Todd as he asked before partaking in either action =) ), Todd is an exceptional gentlemen and I am glad to have met him during our car buying experience.The "average" quality of work rating comes into play simply around the paperwork side. Apparently the incorrect paperwork was used as the old paperwork was not switched out before the transaction, not a big deal, and my wife and I had to revisit to resign the documents. Emily was a great helper and she did an incredible job at keeping us informed at what was happening with the transaction at all times. As far as I can tell Emily did everything within her professional power to help us, including taking extra time at our request to get a lower interest rate from another bank/CU, and the average rating is based on what seems like common occurrence aspects that happen during car purchases.Both Todd and Emily were great to work with and they possess uncanny charisma and talent necessary for a safe and fun car buying experience. I am thankful to have met these individuals, and have blown away the myths of how often a buyer will run into a shady car dealer.

Up on Washougal River Road it handles great and the hills don't give me any grief. My wife and i were looking for a new used car and tried all other dealers in the vancouver area with no luck. when we arrived at Vancouver Hyundai we were greeted immediately. we were shown many cars and finally settled on an outback. We worked out a price and proceeded to sign papers. I was a little upset that the price went up by $4k, but after a discussion about what i was going to pay, i got it down to a $1000 price hike. Everyone was friendly and i was able to drive away happy at the end of the day.

Mack is a great car salesman. He was professional with everything he did. He made sure we where taken care of. He made the experience about us and it wasn't about him getting commission or anything. It shows that he cares about customers and getting them into the right car. Overall is was a great expierence I just don't like how I had to fill out an online survey in order to receive a spare tire for my brand new car. For safety purposes it should have come with the car initially. Mack was great thought in all steps of the way!

I was looking for a new car, specifically a Hyundai Accent, and chose the Vancouver Auto Group because they are less than a mile from my house. I wasn't even sure I wanted to buy that day, but within four hours I was driving home with a new car. The salesman that helped me was Mack Silagy, and he was very helpful. He wasn't pushy at all, he let me decide which one I wanted, and gave suggestions based on my job. We started the day visiting plant nurseries for inspirations for hedge plants, stopped at Vancouver Hyundai afterwards to start the traditional test rides to replace our current car. We were considering Elantra, Civic, Altima or Accord, figured to stop at two dealerships to fill the day. I had read reviews of the different models for the past year, had decided the features we needed and the criteria for seating comfort and conveniences to satisfy both drivers. The Elantra satisfied the needs for both of us, and with the able and very friendly service from Danny Miller, we went home with a new Elantra instead of Andromedas and Camellias.

I would like to first start out by saying thank you to Josh, Scott and Jim for a FANTASTIC buying experience. It went smoothly, without any haggling, back and forth, or deceit. My wife, son and I were treated with respect, humor and courtesy. That cannot be said for very many dealerships these days.Upon arriving at the dealership, they did not have a vehicle in their stock that matched the options that my wife and I wanted. Jim searched far and wide (over 500 miles!) to find us something that matched what we wanted. Although he did not find one in black like my wife wanted, he did find one in White. Turns out this was a better choice in the long run.It was a pleasure working with the guys I mentioned. Jim is a sales manager, but he spoke to us directly, introducing himself and shaking our hands several times throughout the buying experience. He didn't hide in some back office cave and spout off orders to his sales-people. There was no back and forth, low ball offers for trade in value, or haggling to squeeze every last penny of profit from us. In fact, they offered us the exact KBB value for our trade in, and the absolute BEST price for the new vehicle from any other dealership in the Vancouver/Portland area. Scott was humorous and friendly, even chasing down our energetic 2 1/2 year old son as he ran throughout the dealership! Josh was newer to this particular dealership, but was still every knowledgeable about the Santa Fe Sport that we were purchasing. He took the time to walk my wife through the set up of the entertainment/information system despite it being quite late in the day.I whole heartedly recommend Vancouver Hyundai to anyone that is in the market for a new Hyundai. If you are in the market for any type of new car (besides a pick-up) then give Hyundai a chance. Their quality, options, and value are un-matched!

I would not recomnend this Dealership....Both salesmen were not truthful when asked about the condition of the car...I drove 2 hours only to find out the car was not what they described over the phone...The Sales Mgr(Jim or John) was rude , nasty and Condescending...He misrepresented the wholesale and retail value of the vehicle using figures from Aug 2012...I had the current ( Dec) in my car...There is a $150 Doc Fee which I found out once I got there.....I will not recommend this Dealership.....

Bruce took me for a test drive to show my husband the car ( he has me do the leg work ). He was very easy to talk with and knew the car. Keith was the main reason I came back this time. He's not a salesman but he turned me to Bruce and Ken.The deal making was very easy. We are trying to improve our credit. We took a big hit with the economy and loss of employment a few years back. We are slowly making our way out and they really worked with us to make a great deal.After the sale Ken was very knowledgable on all the workings of the vehicle, he's a very sweet man and knows his business. The overall experience was wonderful. Nobody wasted my time. I told them up front about our credit and such and I wanted a yes or no on wether they could make a deal with us. They were very up front with us and the time spent there was enjoyable. The sales people were very attentive, and patient as we tried to make our final decision. Then the individual in the finance department explained thouroughly what the charges were and that they would communicate with our bank for financing. Overall, they were very knowledgeable and friendly, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to my family and friends.

Frank answered all my questions. I didn't feel pressured to buy a car.I got a fair price for my trade in. Frank call to follow up on the car and to see if I had any questions. Bruce also called. They were able to transfer my 10 yr/10,000 mile warranty from my other Hyundai to the new one.

Ray was great from start to finish. He was professional and very patient. I wanted to test drive the car 3 times and each time he was very accomodating, even to the point that on the 3rd time I was hesitant to ask again, yet he jumped right in and said "let's go, I want you to make sure it's the right automobile for you." Ray was very easy to work with and in my opinion used "a soft sell" approach rather than "push, push, push" approach. He knew when to offer the right approach/direction, directing me into making a decision without me feeling pushed into a decision. I would definately recommend Ray to future buyers. He was friendly, well informed about the automobile and just a pleasure to work with. So glad he approached us when we arrived at the dealership and worked with us in finding the automobile that fits me to a tee. One of the best car salesmen I've ever worked with.

Frank was so helpful with our quest for a new car. He was very informative of all of our questions. If he didn't know the answer he would get it for us. My wife and I never felt any pressure to get a car that we did not want. Frank had great hospitality and wonderful customer service. I would defiantly go back and buy another car through frank again. They have a $5k markup on a car that MSRPs at $24.9kFor that price I can get more car from just about anywhere. They also told me that they were the only ones in town with the car, when I had 4 other emails from every other dealer in town saying they had just gotten one in as well because it was a launch date.The main thing that would keep me from ever buying here is when I walked up to the car (Veloster Turbo) I could smell that "burnt transmission" smell. One of the salesmen was flooring it (or letting a test driver floor it?) and redlining it (I'm assuming). When I finally got in and drove it, the auto was jacked up. It couldn't shift into 3rd gear, and would just SLAM into fourth. I imagine them causing irreparable damage to my future car without me knowing and I just see red flags. I'll be going elsewhere.

Vancouver Hyundai. Gabriel was an awesome salesman. We told him this while waiting for our paperwork to be processed. He was not pushy, did not act like his job was strictly to make a sale, his timing for asking questions was perfect and he made us feel very comfortable. I went to the dealership looking for 2 specific cars and left with one that I didn't think I would drive. I would recommend this dealership to anyone and would strongly suggest Gabriel as a sales rep.

When purchased, my vehicle was out of alignment. The mechanic adjusted the toe in & it was still not right. I was informed nothing else could be done as my vehicle was within specs. After I raised hell & promised legal action, the dealership paid my mechanic to properly align my vehicle. In the sixteen months since I purchased my vehicle, circumstantial evidence indicates the service department may not have performed certain requested maintenance & may have damaged my vehicle's alignment when it was serviced on one occassion (I had my mechanic realign my vehicle at my expense). It is possible the lack of service is retaliatory in nature. I have been asked if some discrimination is involved. My response to the question was simply anything is possible. The service department personnel have proven to be incompetent, untrustworthy & perhaps even more.My vehicle (2010 Elantra Touring SE) is exactly what I wanted. I was very impressed with the internet sales manager & the sales person. I'm extremely dissapointed with the service department & plan to have my vehicle serviced at a different dealership or at another reliable service center.

I went in to look at and test drive a vehicle I had interest in. I ended up driving a car. The sales person was pleasant enough. After the test drive I was asked if I was looking at purchasing a vehicle that day. My response was, "No, not today. I am just looking at my options." Promptly, I was lead into a small room and introduced to a finance person who repeatedly asked me, "how can I get your business today?" Every time I was asked this I would reply how I had earlier: "I am just looking at my options. I am not going to buy today." Every time I answered he would take his paper and come back a few minutes later with a slightly lower price. I was kept in the dealership for over two hours. I gave them no inclination that I would purchase a car from them that day, yet over and over and over again pressure tactics were used on me to break down and accept a deal. The finance person was set on selling me a car, even though I did not want to buy one. I found him to be extremely pushy and rude. How many times should I have to say that I am Not going to buy a car? I repeated myself at least ten times within the two hour span and they still did not want to accept my decision. In order to leave the room they were negotiating with me I basically stood up and walked out. Why would I ever purchase a vehicle from a pushy sales person? Even if I did want to buy a car that day I wouldnt buy from them based on their out-of-line sales tactics. I do Not recommend going to the Vancouver Hyundai dealership, not even to test drive a car, unless you like to be kept in a room and verbally pushed around. These people do not deserve my business or anyone elses. They are rude and dont care what you have to say. They just want a sale and will do what they can to get their way.
