The Evans Volvo service department has serious customer service issues!! I showed up for an oil change 1/29/16 around 5pm, no one was around as it was close to closing time (5:30) After about 10 minutes Debbie appeared and was very rude and informed me that they were about to close and could not do service that day. I asked her if we could schedule an appointment she agreed, so I follow her into her office where I was told that she had to finish up some paperwork for another customer. After sitting in her office for awhile and her acting like she couldn't be bothered with me I asked to speak with a manager, the GM appeared a few minutes later and I explained the issue to him. We scheduled an appointment for 2/3/16 and asked if they could email me an estimate. Monday afternoon I called back to to follow up because I had not received the estimate, they told me that they sent it out Friday but I had not received it, so they resent it. The estimate I received was just an email with a price I wanted a real estimate with the breakdown of services that would be preformed and the cost. I called Debbie right back and left her a voicemail explaining what I wanted, still no response so I called back today 2/2/16 to find out if I could get what I had asked for. Debbie was busy and I didn't want to leave another voicemail so I asked to speak with the service manager. The service Manager Armin pick up the line and let me tell you I have never been treated so poorly in my life. He told me that what I was asked for was not able to be produced until they had the car, All I wanted was A breakdown of services that would be preformed and the cost of the services. He tells me that the owners manual would tell me the services that would be completed, Then goes to tell me that the owner GM and him have had a meeting discussing me and that it seems like they will be unable to provide services to me and he would be canceling my appointment. WHAT???? All I wanted was an estimate that listed the services that would be performed and the cost associated to them and of course friendly service from the start. Beware of this place, I can only imagine if you had a serious problem.

Customer Service was great even if something goes wrong. We ordered a car in August and was told it should be in between October and November. I called in December and parts were back ordered. They understood that I didn't want to wait any longer. Found me a car in the lot that was close to what I originally wanted and gave me a deal on price because of delay.

I have purchased 9 vehicles to date and this was the quickest, most hassle-free, and most professional dealership I have dealt with. This car buying was experience was honestly one of the best thus far. I would definitely recommend Volvo of Dayton to everyone.

We researched VW Passat and Volvo S60's, basically deciding on Passat. However, once Theo thoroughly discussed the quality features of today's Volvo, we returned home and continued researching. Today we bought a Volvo S60.As to the salesman, Theo Dorien, was so personable and we felt that he really wanted to determine which car would fulfill our needs and find one for us. Theo is really good. He did not force us to buy anything but rather found answers to our numerous questions and let us decide without any pressure. Already now one of our family members is pretty interested in Volvo and we have given him Theo's card. Thanks very much, Volvo of Dayton and Theo!

I recently purchased a new Volvo from Evans Motorworks about a month or two ago. I went to a few other places first and couldn't find what I was looking for nor did anyone try to find me the right vehicle. It was a very nice to experience a top notch sales staff that really went out of their way for me! Christian did a great job of finding me the right car at the price I needed to be at. The delivery of the car was very easy and the staff catered to my schedule! Great place to buy a Volvo!!

I have just purchased a new Volvo from Evan's Motorworks (Dayton OH)my first. Having been a seven time Saab ownerknow longer an option, I wasn't looking forward to a new dealership encounter and the buying process with new relationships. I was, however, convinced Volvo products would be equally as quality engineered/constructed and safely focused as my Saabs had been.I'm pleased to say my experience couldn't have been smoother or more easily accomplished. Casey Mousa, my sales contact was knowledgeable and easy to work with. No pressure or protracted negotiations, He simply and clearly explained their pricing philosophy and we were able to quickly arrive at a mutually fair pricing solution.Seems like a great dealership and I'm looking forward to a successful Volvo experience. I have purchased 3 cars from Jim Hilt and Evans Motorworks. Each time, I've found that they have a good selection of vehicles and Jim knows about all of the models. The service department is very accommodating for scheduling and the waiting time is short. I will never go to another dealer.
