From start to finish, this was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. Chris Weinberger responded promptly to my initial interest in an vehicle via email...walked me through the whole process via email and phone and by the time we got there for our appointment at 5:00 pm, had the vehicle pulled up front for the test drive and all the paperwork together in finance with Bob by the time we got back. The 2018 Renegade was for our 16 yo daughter and we told her THIS is the best experience my wife and I have even had. Even though its an hour drive for us to get this this vehicle, we will be back! Top notch customer service and top notch dealership!!

Alex in service absolutely saved the day! I brought in my 2020 Jeep Wrangler without a clue what was going on and he quickly diagnosed the problem and discovered several other important fixes in the process. He was able to get most of the work done under my warranty which was huge because I just purchased this vehicle in March and was not prepared to spend tons of money fixing an almost brand new vehicle! I will bring my Jeep to Alex at Waconia Chrysler Jeep every time it needs service-thanks again Alex!

I spent a couple of days driving around to most of the car lots in the Twin Cities area and Waconia Dodge and Jeep was the place to go. Right away Shane Lynch was very welcoming and took me on some test drives. I found the vehicle I wanted and the buying process was simple. He and the loan officer on duty had a network of banks and were able to find financing at a good rate. In no time I was driving away in my new ride. With the good prices and how well I was treated I don't see going anywhere else for my automotive needs. Will definitely be doing business again in the future.

My somewhat long review about experience with Waconia Dodge. I make my living in sales and I hope we were a one-off scenario because our experience was mishandled and the truck in question was misrepresented on the phone, internet and even in person by the salesman. My wife and I started off on our trip initially because we were picking up a car that we purchased about an hour away and Waconia was somewhat on the way there. My plan was to buy this truck or one down the road with the same options (the other truck was listed for less). We were greeted with a smile and a friendly handshake. They offered us refreshments because they knew how long we had been driving to get there (3.5 hours) and that part was great. The truck was parked off to the side in the front and instead of letting us take a look we had to fill out a "needs" form and listen to a sales pitch on how the truck is priced super low. "2-3k lower than the market". Based on the market right now I would say it was priced competitively if the truck was in excellent condition. (turns out it was FAR from that) After 30 minutes of wasting time with paper work and listening to why this truck was a good deal I was finally allowed to go inspect the truck. The truck was 2.5 years old and from a distance I was starting to get excited but once I got close I noticed that the truck was dirty and it still had the original sticker price on the window (online listing was for 1,000 less). Every door and body panel had a scuff, scratch, or mark on it, the rear bumper had a large amount of rust, the paint was bubbling and chipping off (rear bumper), and to finish it off the front bumper was riddled with rock chips and rust as well. The salesman said that all of these things were typical and rust was an easy fix, maybe a few hundred. (why didn't they fix it then?) The interior was next... one of the seats had something spilled on it (looked like milk) and there was trash in back seat. The truck was equipped with a built in key pad but they didn't have the codes for it... however the salesman said it would be easy to get from the previous owner. (Why don't they have it then?) I couldn't test drive the truck without the salesman riding along; in fact as the salesman road in the back seat he dictated the route I could drive on and where to turn around. That was a big put off for me! So when we got back to the dealership and I called a body shop for an estimate on the bumper repairs and as I was talking with them the salesman kept trying to rush me off the phone so we could talk price and make a deal. After the 3rd interruption I apologized to the body shop and let them know I'd have to call back. During the price talk I ended up pulling out the other truck listing to show them and it took them 30 minutes of going back and forth in a different office with the finance manager the sales rep said they could give us a discount. The problem with that is the discount was based on the window sticker and not the online advertised price so it was not really a discount. I pointed that out to them and confusion set in The offer was still higher than the truck 10 miles down the road and virtually the same price as they offered on the internet. I pointed out that this truck had been on their lot for over 4 months and the issues again and the salesman's response was and I quote "That's doesn't mean anything really because we have some vehicles that sit on the lot for over a year". My wife and I said we were not interested in tiny reduction in price and they said that there was no way to make a deal then. 2 wasted hours later we left. Greg was the salesman & Ryan was the finance manager. Bottom line: I had to listen to over 1.5 hours of sales tactics for a truck in Poor condition that they wanted top $$ for. I drove over 3 hours to find this out. Just Terrible

Bought a 2014 Dodge Charger SRT8 Superbee a few weeks ago. Drove 2.5 hours to get the vehicle and it was almost what they described. Asked for a mint vehicle and had some severe noticeable defects on the body. They also were VERY VERY VERY firm on my trade in. Which booked at 20k and they would not budge more than 18k for a trade in, which in return ended up making my payment bigger. Very nice people but do not seem to have any lead way when it comes to making a deal.

Matt Stole provided excellent customer service in a genuine and helpful way. He was informative and responsive while never making me feel like he was pushing anything. His manager, John, was very helpful and informative on the financing side of things.This was a great experience for the first time buying a new car, for me. I never felt as if I was being pressured or rushed into making decisions. They were extremely responsive to my needs without being pushy in any way. Having no experience and very little knowledge of the car buying process, apart from my research online before hand, I expected to feel as though there were many questions left unanswered because I didn't know to ask but I don't feel that way in the slightest. I have only had the car for a couple days but I am very happy with my purchase and have an optimistic feeling about it.

I was at Waconia Jeep for a repair and while I was waiting I struck up a conversation with Shane. I was just looking for some information but left with a new vehicle !! I was able to turn in the Jeep that I had leased from them and drive away with a much nicer model for only a few dollars a month more. The entire staff there was great. I never once felt that I was just another deal. They really went out of their way to help me. I will never shop any other place for a car. Wish that I could give them even more stars. If you're looking for a new car be sure to ask for Shane !!!

We recently purchased a used Chevy Tahoe from Waconia Chrysler Jeep. We saw the Tahoe online and requested information. Dave Reedy, the sales rep, was quick to respond and was extremely helpful. Being from Illinois, there was a lot more paperwork, so Dave and the finance team got as much of the paperwork started ahead of time so we would not have to wait at the dealer for the whole day. The Tahoe was beautiful as promised by Dave........he did not want us to drive the 6 hours and be disappointed. Dave went through the whole Tahoe showing us where things were located and how to use them. The finance man (sorry I don't remember your name) made the purchase part/paperwork so easy. He comes from a family of car sales and really treated us well. Both Dave and the finance man knew what great costumer service was all about. It was so nice not to have the typical car dealer pressure that comes with buying a car. It was one of the best car purchases my husband and I have ever had.

We were looking for an inexpensive used car for our college aged son and found one at Waconia Dodge. The sales person we talked to was very helpful and allowed us to take the time we needed to make a decision. We found a great car, but with a week we thought we had a problem. We happened to be near an auto service station and took it in to have it looked at. The service station told us we needed a new alternator. We took it back to Waconia Dodge, they were more than happy to look at it for us and could not get the car to fail. There was actually nothing wrong with the car (one of our kids had left the lights on overnight, but would not fess up to it). We have had the car for 3 weeks now and it runs great! Waconia Dodge not only took the time to help us find what we needed they also saved us a considerable amount of money by not selling us services we didn't need. I completely trust our sales rep, Chris Weinberger, and the service team at Waconia Dodge to be honest with us and will return in the future when we need new (or used) vehicles!

We needed a new car quickly as the transmission went out on ours. Decided to lease and wanted a Jeep Cherokee. Waconia Dodge had sent us an email about some lease deals on Cherokee's. Mike Wille helped us check out the Cherokee's that were available, chose one, inform us about the leasing process. Brian, the finance manager was very knowledgeable in the leasing process and gave us good advice. We closed the place and Mike stayed to go thru the car and explain how everything worked. Called for a service appointment because my check engine light came on. Asked when I could get it in they said we are really backed up. and told me Monday is the first available day they had. I called on Tuesday. I think that is bad service seeing I bought the vehicle from the dealer ship. they had no concern that the engine light was on. would not recommend there service dept.

Thanks to Dave Reedy and Eric Strong for their help dealing with some service issues I had with my recently purchased Jeep. Any vehicle owner can agree that mechanical and electrical issues can be very frustrating to deal with. While my vehicle has an extended warranty and is certified pre-owned, they discovered the costs of the associated fixes would be had to pass on to the manufacturer. Considering I had owned the vehicle for only a few days, I did not think this was fair to pass the cost of repairs on to me (especially after paying for the extended warranty, which covers all mechanical and electrical flaws bumper to bumper). Dave and Eric stepped up and covered the repairs and had me back on the road in only a few days. I appreciate the support and help, and would recommend this dealership to anyone interested in buying a vehicle.

I had an idea of what I wanted, and Shane Lynch did an excellent job of asking questions and narrowing down the type of vehicle for me. I ended up test driving one 2014 Jeep Patriot and buying it. It actually has more features than I even realized were out there for this Jeep. Waconia Dodge was the first place my husband and I looked, and after a test drive, lunch and paperwork, drove home with my purchase the same day. Shane took the time to show me how to use everything from the auto start, to setting the radio and utilizing all the features. It more than fit our expectations for low mileage, and was in our price range. Since the purchase, Shane has been available, and called to answer any questions I have. I am impressed with his level of professionalism. Shane gets to know his customer and is very friendly.

Overall satisfied with the purchase experience. A couple of things though...I requested financing but told then only to inquire their best intuition. I told then specifically that I want them to only pursue thief one and only best option as I knew my credit and had other financing options. I went with therm because their lender was great however they did 4 hard hits on my credit. I told then specifically that I did not want that. Not happy that they couldn't follow my requests. Also when my plates came in the sales man was going to send me home with therm. I bought a 2013 Ram which requires a plate bracket on the truck to mount it. Salesman told me it didn't but I knew better. It took the mechanic to come out, take one off a new ram and put my plate on.

I just moved to town and was looking for a new car. After visiting a couple of dealerships I found Waconia Dodge Chrysler Jeep. I made it clear i was looking to buy a vehicle and was aware my credit was poor but was willing to get a cosigner or sign on my own based on what they could do to work with me. Purchased a used vehicle with 79k miles and spent a little under 9k. I was told that this was a one owner and had purchased the vehicle at this dealership. I had the vehicle exactly 13 days and the alternator went out which was on a friday about 6:30. I had to have the vehicle the next day for work so I had no other option but to find someone that could fix it that evening. This dealership closes at 6p so iit wasn;t convenient for me to wait to take it to them to fix it. The bill was $400. I sent the receipt and diagnostic test to John (my salesman) to prove that in fact it was the alternator. John called me on Monday to say how about we pay half. I felt that any dealership should stand behind any of there vehicles for at least 14 days and even 30 days without having a major repair. I told John that I felt that the dealership should stand behind there vehicles and take care of there customers. He said he would call me tomorrow. 3 days passed without a phone call so I called him and left a message and again NO return phone call. I finally called the GM Heidi and she called me back Friday. She said that she had sent me a $150 for the repair and that they didn't need to do anything. She actually repeated that same message twice to me and not once apologized to me that I had to have a major repair done on the vehicle. I never felt that there was any concern for the customer it was all about the convenience of the dealership. So, if you are considering purchasing a used vehicle from this dealership you need to know that (based on my experience) they won't take care of you even if it's a few days after you leave there lot. So make sure you have your own mechanic check out the vehicle if possible. I purchase used vehicles about every 2-3 years and have 3 children between the ages of 18-23 that will also need vehicles in the coming years. I would have NOT hesitated for a moment to give this dealership my business and all they had to do was say to me "Sir even though you may not have a warranty for this vehicle we want to go above and beyond for you to earn your future business so were going to take care of this for you. If that would have happened I would have had an entirely didn't opinion. It's a shame but now I know to go to a dealership that has a warranty for all vehicles under 100k miles at no additional cost. That is if you want peace of mind.

When we walked into Waconia Dodge to get some information on the new Jeep Cherokee we were greeted by a staff willing to help and not "pounced on" or "pressured" by any of the staff. They were happy to give us the information on the vehicle we were curious about and simply invited us to come back for a test drive or if we had any other questions. That was enough to for us to want to come back for a test drive. We talked with Keane and then he introduced us to John Fahey who answered all our questions and took the time to give us information we had not thought about. There was no pressure for a test drive and never felt like he was trying to make a deal. John took the time to learn about what we were looking for, comfortable with and never tried to sell us something that we didn't need. I felt John was really trying to find the right car/options for us instead of selling us a car or options we did not need or want. It was this friendly no pressure attitude that made car shopping fun again. Throughout the process regardless of who we talked to John, Keane or Heidi it always felt like we were the priority and not the car or sale price. So if you are looking for a new or used car and want to be able to ask questions, have them answered and enjoy the car buying experience do yourself a favor and go to Waconia Dodge. You can buy a car anywhere, but at Waconia Dodge, you might actually have fun while getting the car you want for the price you can feel good about! It had a few extras, but it was at a very reasonable price. I had them handle the spray in bed liner and and Access Bed Cover. Very pleasant experience and exceptional service. I would certainly buy from Dave again.

I bought a 2014 Ram 1500 at Waconia Dodge in December 2013. My salesman, Brett Winebrenner knew a lot about the truck and was very straight forward in our deal. He gave me a fair price for the truck right away (I checked it against other dealers) and a fair value for my trade. He made the deal very easy as did the rest of the staff at Waconia Dodge. It is a very good small town dealer. I bought a new truck from them in 1997, but won't wait this long to do so again.

I recently purchased a 2014 Ram 1500 from Chris Weinberger at Waconia Dodge. My experience was the best I have had in buying a vehicle (and I have owned over 85 new and used cars). Chris went out of his way to keep in touch with me as I went through purchasing a new home at the same time. Upon selection over the phone Chris was able to get me approved and beat the price of several other dealerships I contacted about the same vehicle. I recently traded a Jeep Liberty for a 2014 Jeep Compass and love this car. It handles beautifully on the ice and snow, even in 2-wheel drive. It maneuvers very well, is comfortable, and has great tires on it for mud, snow or ice. This is my second Compass and I would highly recommend to anyone, especially for rural areas with the high clearance, yet low center of gravity. After break-in I averaged 34 mpg highway on the 2013. Now we have two to enjoy. I have purchased 5 vehicles at this point from John Fahey and could not say enough about his salesmanship, knowledge, help and honesty. No pressure tactics, just honest care about the customer and their needs and wants. He follows up and checks periodically to be sure still satisfied and see if there is anything they can do for the customer. This is the best dealership I have ever done business with in 50 years of driving, and will do business with them from here on.

Chris was very accomadating to my wishes. He responded to my inital inquiry quickly. I asked a number of questions and Chris immediately responded back to me. My experience with Mike Wille was a great one. He responded to my inquiries within a timely manner and always got back to me when I first showed interest in the car. When I looked at the car, he made sure to give me a very long test drive so I would get a feel for it first. Then, when I found that the hose was leaking to the windshield wiper fluid, he made sure that this problem was taken care of right away. I left the dealership with a full tank of gas. I also found out there was an extended warranty option on the vehicle which I did not know about before. Overall, I was very happy with my experience. Never before have I been treated to as long of a test drive as I was here. Mike was a very nice genuine person and I appreciated his as well as Waconia Dodge's service. Thank you!

We had a great experience working with Chris Weinberger at Waconia Dodge on our new Caravan. Initially we sent an internet request for information about a 2013 that they had on the lot and Chris responded quickly and with exactly the information I was looking for. Most of the dealerships that we had contacted simply had the automated response and never actually bothered to answer your questions. Waconia was far superior on this front. You can tell they are a small town business who's customers are important to them, not just one of the masses passing by on the internet. The car ended up not being the perfect one for us, Chris and the crew found us a vehicle that fit our needs and brought it into their dealership. They gave us a good deal on the vehicle and a reasonable amount for the trade. When we went to pickup the vehicle it was in perfect condition and had a full tank of gas. Chris went over all the features with us (this is our 6th Caravan so there weren't any huge surprises) and sent us on our way. The paperwork to the demo took less than 45 minutes and went very smoothly. All in all we had a great experience. We looked at many cars of different brands and from different dealers. Most of the pricing on the web that you see is "not real", that is they list discounts you aren't eligible for etc. Waconia doesn't do that, they list the MSRP and you can write them for the actual price of the vehicle. It seems like a lot more honest way of doing business.

Keane Raether is the person who was responsible for our great buying experience. Unlike many other dealerships the final price of the vehicle went DOWN on the delivery day. No "low balling" at Waconia. Heidi the person in charge of financing had all the paper work ready and explained everything clearly. Very efficient. When the paper work was complete, Keane took almost an hour out of his busy day to explain everything about our new Jeep.

When we moved to the area, I took my 2008 Ram in for service and realized that this dealer is way better than most others. I just traded the 2008 for a 2013 Ram. I was shopping for a used truck and found what I was looking for at Waconia Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep. The buying experience was great, no pressure to close the deal while I was on premise. I told my salesman (Joe Drapcho) that I had several other trucks to look at and after a test ride he gave me his best price and left the decision to me. It was a bit of a drive to get out there from the north metro but well worth the trip. I picked up my truck the next day and they have been great to work with on a couple of minor follow-up issues. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!

Just bought my a new Dodge Charger there and walked away very happy with the experience. I had a good idea what I wanted when I showed up, they closed the deal on the test drive and everything thereafter was a breeze. Got a some solid incentives and some discounting without any excessive haggling. Got a great trade in value on a 2002 Galant. Overall very satisfied with the price - I hope everyone made some money on the deal. Bought the rust proofing / leather protection package and they called me to remind me to come back and get those things done. Even got a loaner car for that day (funny part - it was my trade in). My sales rep (Chris Weinberger) and the finance manager (Forgot his name - great guy as well) were both rock solid. As a plus - I think I saved 1/2 percent on sales tax leaving Hennepin County.

I Love my Jeep. We have had Jeeps since the mid 70's and loved them all. The manual is great. The thing handles like a sports car, rides like a truck and pulls a load. ALL good. The top off is fun, my first convertable. The hard top is a little more work to take down than a rag top, but I knew that going in. Not sure when the doors might come off, we'll see. No off road yet. After paying top dollar (over $18,000.) for a used SUV, items brought to their attention beforehand got taken care of, but anything after the sale... forget about it. Nobody even would look at why the rear hatched leaked. I took care of three items myself for a cost of over $700.
