After exhausting the trail to, Owings Mills, Reisterstown, Westminster and Hanover we were delighted that our journey ended at Wantz Chevrolet in Taneytown, Md.! You can imagine how relieved we were to find a sales Rep like Kali Bennett. When you've traveled from town after town and talked to Rep after Rep., it's exhausting! We are so thankful that Kali is very serious about her job.There were a few items that the car we wanted had to have and they were not negotiable. Kali must have taken excellent notes or has a mind like a steel trap! Reason being, not too long after our visit, our home phone rings and I hear an elated voice saying "I believe I have the car with everything you've asked for!" Right she was, it had everything!!!! Actually, it had an added bonus. It has cute little fashion lights in the interior that go from green, pink, blue, yellow, red..................... maybe that's a girl thing! Extra bonus! I have never had a more knowledgeable, speedy, friendly service and all with a smile. I will be getting my next vehicle from Wantz Chevrolet. However, Kali Bennett has to be my Sales Rep., I've been spoiled!!! My son and I want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Kali and the Team at Wantz Chevrolet!

As you can see by my ratings, this was an excellent experience from start to finish. We contacted the General Manager, Lloyd Hauk, who we have worked with buying several cars over the years. He is always our go to person. We weren't even thinking about buying a Chevrolet car, we have had Jeep Grande Cherokees for several years. Lloyd suggested that we test the Chevy Traverse to see how it compared to the Grande Cherokees. Well, we loved it! The challenge then was to find the Traverse with the features we wanted by the end of 2015. We worked with Chris Belge, one of the sales representatives at Wantz. She was tenacious in trying to find the "right car", I.e., color, packages, etc. She was amazing in this endeavor. We did find the "right car" with all the features. On delivery, Chris spent probably 3-4 hours trying to educate us on all of the features offered on this model. She was so patient during the process and continues to see if we need any additional information. I would highly recommend this dealership and especially, Chris Belge.

Great place to buy your new vehicle! I have been a customer at Wantz for several years now, you really cannot ask for a better dealership. I have purchased 2 vehicles from Wantz and I have them serviced there for every need. The service department goes out of their way to assist you and to make everything as smooth as possible. They also take the time to remind you of the next service that is due on your vehicle. Also, I have had a very positive occurence when I purchased my vehicles. They do what no other dealership does with your buying experience. You will be amazed of the process and there is no pressure whatsoever. The both times I purchased my vehicles, Herman Johnston went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with the process and most of all happy. You will not find another dealership like this, they are very unique and they are focused on the most important thing "The Customer".

I drove this distance after dealing with several dealers in my area, which I was not satisfied with. I met Chris Belge and we went over what I was looking for. She was very helpful and understanding and did not try to push me to buy. She was very patient and explained all the features of the Tahoe I ultimately bought. The purchase paperwork etc was very well handled even though it was an out of state purchase. I have purchased several cars over the last few years, and this was by far the most pleasant and satisfactory experience I have had. I would certainly recommend this dealer all.

I have always hated going to a car dealership, but my visit to Wantz changed my mind. The saleswoman was Chris Belge and she is not pushy at all. We never felt pressured.. She had all the answers to our questions and researched until she found a car that met all our requirements. The transaction was easy and painless. My husband and I recently purchased a 2015 Chevy Trax from Wantz Chevrolet. We were just going to test drive and really had no intention of buying a new vehicle but were so impressed by the features of the Trax that we decided to buy it. We can't say enough about our salesperson, Marvin Glass. He is probably the most sincerely genuine salesperson that we have ever dealt with! He is quite a character and made the whole buying process a pleasure. And Rich Sell did an excellent job as well!! We would highly recommend Wantz Chevrolet.

I had Christine Belge as my sales lady and even though she's been in the business for only a couple of months she was very professional. At no point did I feel pushed to buy. She was very knowledgeable about the Traverse I bought. What questions she couldn't answer, she went out of her way to find the answer for me. Stan Hollinger was also very helpful to me in answering my questions. I would recommend to anybody looking for a car to give Wantz Chevrolet a try.

Researched 2014 Silverados for a couple months...couldn't find what I was looking for. In October 2014 found Wantz Chevrolet on the internet and decided one Sunday to take a ride. ( 60 miles from Annapolis).Low and behold they had the truck I was looking for. Went back the following day after work to discuss price. Was met by sales person Kelly Shuster. She showed me the truck and told me all about it's features. Kelly was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. From there it was to sales manager Stan Hollinger to talk money. I had a number in mind when I arrived and Stan and I were able to come to an agreement on price. I purchased the vehicle and picked it up the following evening. Everything about buying my H2 at Wantz Chevrolet was great. From the moment I met our sales lady,Kelly Shuster, I knew this would be not be the typical car buying experience. No pressure, no gimmicks or hidden cost, just truth and honesty. The entire team of people we met were great, from management to financing. We even had a check engine light pop up a few weeks later and it was taken care of quickly and professionally, with smiles and kindness thrown in at no extra charge. Stan and Kelly were the best !!!! They both took their time with us as we worked through the process of selecting a new vehicle. They listened to our concerns with each vehicle we test drove, answered a barrage of questions and helped us understand all the new features available. We bought our second vehicle last October from Jeff Wantz. My wife really enjoyed working with Jeff who took the time to show her how everything worked on her new Chevy Equinox. So when we were in the market to replace our truck we went back to see Jeff. He was very helpful in taking the time to show us the new Chevy 2500 and showed us all the features that it had on it. The test drive and buying process with Wantz was quick and easy. Kelly was extremely helpful and thorough during the test drive and following my paper work. She was able to answer all my questions and made sure I knew all the ins and outs of my new car. Overall Wantz made the buying process easy and low stress. From the initial online request, Jeff at Wantz Chevrolet was wonderful in getting my purchase process started. We "built a vehicle" for loan purposes. The finance officer Rich worked very hard with me and the financial institute to obtain a loan that I could afford and at an amazingly low interest rate. Once this was established, the salesman, Jeff went searching for my vehicle. Several options were given to me and we finally made a selection of the vehicle that most met my needs and Wantz Chevrolet obtained that vehicle for me. When we arrived to purchase the vehicle, Jeff thoroughly went over the vehicle with us from top to bottom to make sure we understood all the operations of the vehicle. I am very happy with my new vehicle and was very satisfied with the customer care we received with this purchase.

I was in the market for my 3rd Silverado, but this time I wanted an 2500 HD. With the cost being a substantial amount more than I had paid for my previous 2 Silverado, I was very particular about which color and options I wanted. Jeff listened to everything I wanted, and found several trucks for me. He even drove to another dealer to take a picture of the truck for me since I was reluctant to pull the trigger on something I hadn't even seen. After I decided that was the one, he expedited all of the processes from picking the truck up at the other location, to getting it state Inspected and cleaned up and ready to ride. Thanks for making this the best car buying experience I have ever had!!!

The folks at Wantz Chevrolet are wonderful! We live in Western Pennsylvania and were getting the run-around from several dealers in our area when trying to buy a new truck. The truck we wanted was apparently not a commonly requested model so finding one proved to be extremely difficult. Finally a dealer in Ohio referred us to Wantz, and the long distance phone calls and e-mails began. In just a few days, we started on our 4 hour drive to purchase our new truck. Our salesman, Jeff Wantz, responded to many calls from both my husband and me, the sales manager Stan was pleasant and accommodating, and the finance manager did a great job, too. Much of the paperwork was done ahead of time, thanks to scanners and e-mails, so things went very smoothly once we arrived. And shortly after Lisa took our picture with our new truck (what a nice touch, by the way!), we were on our way back home. Once we finally located a dealership with the truck we wanted, I have to admit this was the most pleasant experience we've ever had in purchasing a new vehicle. Thanks to the entire Wantz team!

Awesome service by sales person Kelly Shuster . I was told about Wantz Chevolet and was referred to Kelly, called her and had me come down to look on lot. I am from Ocean City, Md went to a few lits and was getting run around not happy. Went to Wantz and test drove a few cars and liked but was looking for SUV. But a little out off price range. Was going for a car then Kelly had come out and said they had something, not knowing if I would be intrested because of miles on car. I am now driving it and love thanks to Kelly and Wantz chevy. Wantz Chevrolet, where all of our cars have been purchased for over 30 years. We like the family friendly dealership. Everyone knows who you are, and are always happy to help you. Our go to sales person is Marvin Glass. He is more than a sales person, he is a "friend". He has done his best to give us a "great" deal each time. I have been having my car serviced at Wantz Chevrolet for the last five years since my move to the Taneytown area. Last fall I was involved in an automobile accident and dealt with the body shop and then decided to buy a new car from Wantz. Every experience I have had with Wantz Chevrolet has been a exceptionally good one and in the past few months I have been a frequent visitor due to some bad luck with accidents. Bradley Matte goes beyond the call of duty to take care of the servicing of my car and is very knowledgeable. Michael Blaker in the service department has provided excellent service by his team on several occasions in getting my car repaired and in an expedient way. When I bought my new Cruze in October Jeff Wantz did an excellent job in assisting me with finding the right vehicle. Scott Wantz on several occasions has always followed through with my questions and concerns. All of the above employees are valuable assets to the Wantz Chevrolet dealership and as long as I am able to drive and own a vehicle I will certainly be a Wantz Chevrolet customer.

I recently purchased a used car from Lloyd Haak at Wantz Chevrolet. It was by far the best experience I've ever had purchasing a vehicle. The car was delivered to my home, and Lloyd personally delivered the necessary paperwork. The car itself is beautiful, and was very well-detailed. It looked brand new upon delivery (it is a 2011 model). They did a great job preparing the car; all routine maintenance was up to date and the car had a full tank of gas at delivery. My experience with Lloyd and Wantz Chevrolet was the best customer experience I've had with any major purchase, car or otherwise. More importantly, the peace of mind I got from conducting business with Lloyd was invaluable. My husband and I have been dealing with Wantz Chevrolet for 25 years. Marvin Glass, our salesman, is the best in the business. He makes the customer feel at ease and is very detail oriented. At the time of delivery, he reviews all aspects of the vehicle and takes the time to really go over the details. And the customer does not feel rushed. The service department is top notch. When there is an issue, they take care of it in a timely fashion. We like the new look of the building inside and out. As soon as you walk in the door, there is a friendly person to greet you and ask if they can assist you.

I purchased a 2014 Camaro SS from Wantz Chevy last month. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Wantz. The buying experience was excellent. The salesman, Jeff, did a very good job. Not pushy at all, presented the car very well. The financing specialist did a great job as well. Presented all my options, explained everything clearly. The owner even got involved in the process to personally take care of an issue and had it resolved in a timely manner to my satisfaction. I received a good overall deal on my new Camaro. The service department is great. I've had my Silverado maintained there for the past several years and plan on having my new car serviced there as well. It is definitely worth the few minutes it takes to drive to Taneytown to do business at Wantz. You don't have to deal with the 3 ring circus atmosphere of the large chain dealerships who could care less about you and your car as soon as you drive off their lot. Oh, and the Camaro is an awesome car!

On April 7, 2014, we picked up the sixth new Chevrolet we have purchased from Wantz Chevrolet. We drive more than 30 miles each way to reach Wantz for sales and service. We pass two other Chevrolet dealers on the way - one just 1/4 mile from our home. The entire staff at Wantz provides friendly, knowledgeable and economical support in all aspects of the sales and service experience. They always keep you fully informed and look for every chance they can find to save their customers' hard-earned dollars. It's well worth the trip to Taneytown, even if it might be a little out of you way, to meet these folks and see for yourself what old-fashioned country service and customer support means.

Was in the market for a truck to replace an aging, dying truck. Stopped by Wantz's to check out what Chevrolet had to offer and began my comparison shopping. I checked out Ford, Dodge and Toyota, and found all of the trucks to be about the same. Each had similar standard features, and fairly nice rides, and all had special bells and whistles to play with. Sticker pricing was about the same. If your like me, your time is valuable, and you don't need added distractions to your life- just because your car shopping. Unfortunately, I began to receive a stream of phone calls, emails and text messages from the dealerships wanting to tell me of the next great gimmick to get me to buy their truck, sometimes as many as four per day. This was, and got very annoying!!! Only one dealership, Wantz, (salesman Marvin), told me to give him a call if and when I decided on a Chevrolet, and kept his word!!! I decided to make a second trip to Wantz. While walking their lot (without the high pressure escort), I came across a new 2014 Silverado (Ruby Red) that caught my eye. I spoke to Marvin, the salesman, and told him I was interested in taking it for a test drive. As I had expected, the truck ran as good as it looked and upon returning to the dealership, I was within minutes given the exact figures of the cost of the truck- no haggle, no song and dance, all rebates and incentives... basically a 'take it or leave it' price.Needless to say, I bought the truck! The purchase process was something I didn't expect. They made sure everything was prepared. When I went to take ownership, I had only a limited amount of time in my schedule, they had everything completed and within twenty minutes we were done. I went back the following day to pickup my new truck (had to make room in my garage for the new truck- yes, it's that sharp looking). Marvin explained everything about the truck- switches, knobs, secret compartments, even helped with the OnStar and Bluetooth setup. Before I left with my new truck, I was taken around the dealership and introduced to the staff... Parts department, Service department, Body shop... When I walked out, I felt comfortable knowing that they work together for customer support (even after the purchase). If you need a car or truck, check out Wantz...

I bought my car in Oct. of 2012, I bought a 2011 Chevy Cruze 1LT. I love this dealer, I was there looking at the car and the saleswoman Bea came over and before you knew it I was test driving the best car I've driven to date. She worked with me on all the details, answered all my questions, even answered questions I didnt know I had till she informed me of the info with the car. She had a knowledge about her inventory you do not see at most dealers, and if she didnt know there was always someone who did. She went over the basics of the car where everything was and how to control everything with me. The service department is fast and nice. You always feel welcome at Wantz. My opinion is if you want a Chevy and you want to feel like you belong go to Wantz and ask for Bea Buckland! I know I am glad I did.

She was a great sales person that know all about the car controls with out having to going to some to tell us about the controls, she was very good . My wife and I are from Maryland but retired In 2001 to Florida. We were In Maryland in March 2013 visiting family and wanted to look for a new car for my wife. We use to always deal at Davis Buick GMC but they went out of business When GM CLOSED MANY DEALERSHIPS. I talked to a friend of mine Dean Koontz about buying a new car an he told me that Stan The president of Davis Buick was the sale manager at WANTZ Chevrolet In Taneytown. We drove out to WANTZ and believe me we were so glad we did. From the moment we walked thru the front door we felt like we were part of the WANTZ family. The greeting was sincere Stan was happy to see us and we even met Mrs. WANTZ very soft spoken caring person about you and family. My wife took 4 different cars out before she selected the 2013 Cruise R.S. and we got a very nice and terrific deal. From Mrs. WANTZ TO Stan to the sales and finance people all seemed to care more about you and family then just selling a car. When I elect to trade my truck In I will assure you WANTZ Is where I will be dealing. Its worth the drive If your In the market for a new or used car or truck. Altho Wantz is a 55 mile drive for me, I found exactly the truck I was looking for on the internet. Bea Buckland, the internet rep, provided complete information and made an appointment for me to come in for a test drive. Bea was excellent during the test drive and answered all my questions. Stan, the Money Man, worked up a good deal taking my '04 GMC Sierra on trade. That was a Friday, they provided all the info I needed for my credit union to provide a loan that afternoon. I picked up the new Silverado Saturday morning. I will make an appointment with Wantz Service Dept next week for my initial oil change and lube job and have them check over the truck. No hassle, no pressure, no fuss, just a group of extremely nice and knowledgeable folks that make buying a vehicle enjoyable with no feeling of pressure.

Driving through Taneytown one day, we made a sudden stop at Wantz Chevrolet. The sales manager introduced us to a new sales person, Beatrice Buckland, to help us. We had no intention of buying a car that day, but gave Beatrice the opportunity to go through the sales procedure. She was very thorought telling us about the vehicle we had selected to look at. We told her we were just looking, but had a few questions. She was very caring in making sure our questions were answered. In addition, rather than trying to sell us a vehicle, she seemed more interested in helping us to decide if this was truly a vehicle for us or not. Beatrice was looking at a sales point often forgotten and that being, "customer satisfaction before the sale", as well as after the sale. We kept admiring this vehicle, and with Beatrice's explaining all about it to us, we started the buying process that day for a Chevrolet Equinox. We were grateful Beatrice was not a pushy sales person. We decided to buy the vehicle of our own accord, and knew it was time to make a change. Beatrice has stayed in touch with us from time to time to see if we are still enjoying our vehicle and to see if we have any questions. We did encounter a slight delay problem on something we ordered special for our vehicle. The management and service department picked up on it right away, and made sure the problem was corrected immediately. We've dealt with the service departmet and have been very pleased; from the phone call for service to the completed transaction. Wantz Chevrolet is a beautiful and well-kept establishment, one to be proud to deal with, and having very professional and courteous employees there to help you.

I have bought over a dozen new cars in my lifetime and the friendly, relaxed environment at Wantz is like a buying a car from a family member. My sales person, Penny Kirdy, was fantastic. No pressure, always happy and easy to talk to., when I said I wanted to think about things, she totally understood,where in the past, other sales reps would have hounded me and made me feel pressured to make a quick on the spot decision, which in turn made me question if I had bought the right car or got a fair deal. Even Rich, the finance guy was a class act....again, no pressure friendly and easy to deal with. This is how all dealerships should operate....highly recommend if you're tired of dealing with the big, impersonal superdealers who don't "wow" me.
