I brought my car here to get washed. They washed my car real good like. I looked at my car and got scared by the sight of my reflection. I love Elise she is my girlfriend. She makes me happy and laugh sometimes. She didn’t get her car washed, maybe next time. All the employees were very nice and Made me feel good inside. I love the way they rub the rear end of my car and make it pretty.

The easiest experience I’ve ever had at a car dealership. Put in an online inquiry. Got a hold of me quickly. Kevin, the internet sales consultant was very helpful over email. Understood I work better through email and text. Once I arrived, they got me with Brandon. Heck of a salesman, helped me out, and didn’t act like most of those “know-it-all” salesmen. If you don’t know the answer, find out, and say I don’t know, let me see. Don’t act like a know it all. I enjoyed the fact that he wasn’t like that. If you need a car, go here! Go see Brandon in sales. Make sure you have a great experience and meet Travis, one of the managers. They worked with me and helped me out in every possible way. Even cut me a bit more, EVEN IN THIS MARKET. That goes a long way! A long way for me! I will buy a car from them again. I don’t care if they don’t have the car, I will wait until I can work with them again. They have earned a customer for life. I purchased my Honda Civic Sport from there! Great car so far, and great team. Cannot stress this enough.

Very good communication from the service dept. to us regarding each step of the process. Very thorough work. I have no hesitation to return there to have my car serviced. Shakiera (front desk) was very personable and to my surprise, was knowledgeable about car issues. It was refreshing to be able to talk with the 'receptionist' about what may actually be wrong with the car and to receive meaningful responses and questions from her. She raised the service from a 4-star to a 5!

This review is for the wonderful saleswoman, Aneta Chavdarova, who helped us with a vehicle we were interested in. She is personable, knew the car thoroughly, and was patient with us as we were undecided as we were shopping around. Even tho we didn't get the car it was only because I found one with half the miles elsewhere. It was no reflection on her at all. In fact, afterwards we decided it would make a great second car, but someone else snatched it up before we could make it back. I would definitely ask for Aneta again if we decide to look for another of the same make & model. She is a dream to work with!!

Updated*** I purchased an extended warrant( well at least I thought I did) they just kept the money and never actually gave me the warranty. The car needed 2000. In repairs after 8 months so I called the warranty company to find out I never had coverage. I called Westgate to find out what’s going on they kept putting me on hold so I drove to the dealership.. clearly upset because this is basically a theft. They tried to say everything was fine but I called the warranty company twice to confirm. They called as well and now claim they don’t know how this happened.. I’m still waiting on a refund.. I’m gonna look into taking legal action so this won’t keep happening. My initial review I rated 5 stars but Unfortunately after the first time it rained consistently the car literally filled with water. Upon discovering why the car had filled with water I also discover that I was missing a passenger side air bag. The car fax that West Gate Chrysler Jeep Dodge provided didn’t reflect a deployment of air bags which I find extremely eerie. I will gladly update this review in 5 days as they’ve mentioned that they would check into this matter. Paul Hayes was my sales advisor whom was extremely informative and helped me ride off in my dream car ( Infiniti G37). I highly recommend him as a sales advisor to others looking for a new vehicle. However, their stock of vehicles I find supremely questionable based off the strength of them having underlying issues.

I love car shopping said no one ever! That's why the only salesman you need is Ramone! He is no nonsense, straight forward and extreamly knowledgeable about the competitor's products. He found my 2016 Jeep Cherokee at a fair price and had me out of the dealership in 1 hour. When the car was delivered he spent extra time making sure that I knew how it all worked. Couldn't understand the lady trying to sell me a truck, horrible marketing. Sat in there for 2 hours waiting on them to print out a Carfax cause there internet wasn't working. Worst experience ever. Manager was rude. Told me he would take $25 off the total price was the best he could do

I had an appointment to test drive a car at 12: 00 so I headed to the dealership from Salisbury NC . I got over half way to the dealership and the salesman who I was meeting called and told me THEY SOLD THE CAR !!! Needless to say I won't be shopping here again .

Bring the Car 5 time with the same problems they never fix the Seat .All this in 2 month.My seat still Loose and .When i call back again Scott Hayes and the Customer service Maneger told me do not bring you car we will not fixed . Word by Word.They do not have any Care about you car .Also my Car was damege in different places in the dilership and they say it was alredy like that .xxxxxxxxx

My 2005 Honda Pilot that I purchased from Justin at Westgate Imports was an amazing vehicle, it gave me no problems until the SUV reached over 300,000 miles. I did not want to get another vehicle, I had that SUV for 10 years. The Honda Pilot has to be retired to use only if needed and not for daily use. Since my first experience with Westgate turned out so well, I knew that if I was forced to buy another car I would return to where I knew I would be taken care of. Greg Jacobs was my Go To Salesman. He patiently helped me for 2 days as I looked over pretty much all the inventory at all 3 Westgate locations. Greg was calming and a very good listener as I went over all the Pros and Cons of New VS Used, types of cars, mileage and how well the car was to drive . I drive 50 minutes to work every day , comfort is a must. I travel a lot as well. So there was much to consider. I want to take the time to show appreciation for Greg Jacobs. I would recommend him as a salesman to any of my family, friends or someone interested in buying a car. I LOVE MY 2015 CHRYSLER 300!

I was purchasing from out of state (VT) and as such I was working with Ramon via phone calls, texts, emails and the website. Ramon was prompt to respond to all my inquires and went out of his way to make sure all the out of state issues were taken care of. The financing department was also terrific as they guided me through the plating process in my home state. Shelly handled my paper work and even faxed along some of my paper work to the DMV while I was there! I would recommend this dealership to anyone who wants to buy a great car from a trustworthy and hardworking team!

After a poor experience purchasing a Jeep Rubicon at another area dealership about 2 years ago (high pressure and they tried to change the price when we were signing), we couldn't have been more impressed with everyone here when purchasing a new Grand Cherokee. Much lower pressure, and the lease quote was lower than what we had figured on-line by a decent amount.Our salesperson Richard Grizard was extremely helpful and not a bit overbearing. Even signing the deal was much quicker and easier than we've ever encountered before. Can't recommend enough!

Have not bought a car from a dealer in over 8 years. I was pleasantly surprised with the whole process. The sales rep Mark King made it easy and felt comfortable with the buying process. Mark made sure to keep me informed and answered all my questions and if he was not sure he would go and ask. I really liked that about him. He did try not to be a "know it all". My husband and I had an amazing experience at Westgate Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM. We worked with Ernest Green to find 2 used cars that suited our needs and wants. On his day off, Ernest spent 9 hours with us! He was extremely patient and very knowledgable. He understood our desires and helped narrow down the options. He was able to read our personalities and know what we wanted. Not only was Ernest great, but everyone in the dealership was super friendly and very patient with our curious 15 month old. We never felt rushed, pressured, or that our son was getting in the way (even running wild!) They had an excellent selection of both new and used cars. It was the only dealership we went to where we felt we had options for BOTH cars we were looking for. We highly recommend this dealership and specifically suggest working with Ernest Green. We went to 5 dealerships and our loyalty is with Westgate! Simply put: Ernest Green is the Triple OG of car salesmen.

Worst service ever. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I made an appointment at 7:30am in the morning to get the car serviced. Scott Hayes told me, I will hear from him at noon. I never got a call. I called and he told me he will call me back with the problems of the car. Since then I have called them three times and everytime I call them, they say Scott will call you back. Well, Scott isn't calling back! Put me on hold for 1/2 hour. I need this car to go to work and pick up my son from school. Here they are, playing games and it is very convenient for Scott to no to call me back. What a terrible person he is. The only thing he can do is be honest with me and tell me he won't be able to look at the car today 'cuz he's busy. I sent an Internet inquiry about a used car they had in stock. Salesman Jeff was a very decent person and actually did his best. When I asked to speak with his manager the manager ken never returned my calls. I left him over three messages and got no response. He also advised the salesman not to return my calls. Instead of attempting any sort of negotiation. Then after having gone online and speaking to the Internet manager. I received a call from an Iranian sales manager Sam said his name. He was just trying to blow me off. Said we are a one price store and we don't discount our cars and we are like Carmax and bla bla bla. Apparently they didn't like me since I made such a fuss about how poor the sales management was and how no one even tried to get me excited abou the car to get in my car and drive for 5 hours. It was a bad sign that even if I paid their price I was I. For more unpleasant surprises had I went there. I am in sales myself. If I tried to conduct my business n the same manner I will have no customers. I hope the owner of this dealership has the time to read this and take it seriously as it is coming from someone in the sales and customer service business. It is normal to turn down offers in this business but politely and respectfully. Not by acting ignorant and rude and desmissive. Cars sale them selves for the most part but it takes salesmen to create repeat customers and business continuity. It's people with these attitudes that give car salesmen a bad reputation.

At the salesperson's suggestion, we went home to "build" a new vehicle on the Jeep.com website, to make sure that it wouldn't make more sense to just buy a new vehicle.When we returned the next day, we were ready to buy the used vehicle. But, incredibly, the salesperson said that the Sales Manager was out, and no one could approve the $200 price reduction. This despite the fact that the salesperson had the piece of paper they'd asked me to sign when it was first approved. It was a classic bait-and-switch, and we walked out and bought another vehicle at another dealership.The salesperson called the next day, after the Sales Manager returned, and offered us the car for $100 off half of what they had offered two days before. As if we'd ever give them another shot at our business!Dealing with Westgate was a thoroughly unpleasant experience!

I learned that the Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram was owned by the same person. My family and I have always had such a great experience with Westgate Imports, so when I was ready for a Jeep it was a easy decision. I find that they have the best prices around ( with tons of research!). I did not feel any pressure while deciding which vehicle was the right one for me. Ordered a 2016 Rubicon a couple months back and the sales staff kept me informed with updates of the jeeps progress while being built and delivered. I also spoke with and got great consultation from the parts department for customization options. Their recommendations were spot on. Everything turned out awesome and I saved money by having Westgate order and install the parts compared to a quote from another jeep customization shop. They even texted me pics of the progress as the service staff were installing the custom parts.

My sales person Aneta made my experience exceptional. I was looking for a certified pre-owned Jeep Wrangler with low miles in a certain price range. On my first visit she had exactly what I was looking for, however due to my procrastination it was sold. They had nothing left in stock that met my criteria. I informed Aneta that I had two weeks to find the jeep. She would check in with me every few days to keep me updated. About a week and a half had passed since my initial visit when I received an urgent text telling me to call her ASAP. When I called her back I found that someone had traded in the Jeep that I was looking for and it had not yet even been put on their website yet. Looking to replace my tired F-150 with something more enjoyable to drive, I searched the web and found many choices available. Most of the vehicles were at small, corner car lots and being concerned that the warranty would expire as soon as the paper was signed and I was handed the keys, I looked at dealers with a reputation to protect. Westgate Jeep had a red 2011 Mustang that fit the bill and when I requested an appointment via the website to view the car, I was given Greg Ford as a contact. After reviewing the car and taking a long test drive during which I expressed my concerns about the "what ifs," Greg assured me that Westgate would do the right thing if anything came up. His confidence in his dealership along with his demeanor assured me I had made the right decision. The purchasing process was very comfortable and I wish I could include the name of the manager who processed the paperwork but suffice it to say it was a pleasure. Now to the "issue." The day after the purchase I noticed a water leak under the car. I traced it back to the firewall drain for the HVAC. Thinking I may have a heater core leak I was hesitant to contact Westgate as I only had a powertrain warranty and they would not be responsible for a water leak. I emailed Greg, he took it to his manager who said "bring it in." This is over and above as they are only responsible for the engine and transmission internals. Good people, responsible dealership. I'll be back for the next purchase. Ask for Greg Ford.

haven't bought a new car in over 10 years so honestly I was dreading the process. I went online looking and found a truck I loved, and contacted the dealership thru the website. The process could not have gone smoother, after filling out a credit app they had me approved and beat my local credit unions best rate by half a point. Richard Grizzard was my salesman and he really made the process go smoothly, answered all my questions and was never pushy or overbearing, just a joy to work with. I drove a couple hours to get there, and within an hour and a 1/2 I was driving it home (this included me taking the test drive and looking it over). This was about as pain free as I could have wished for, highly recommend westgate.

I made a trip from Wilmington to purchase a car at Westgate this past weekend. John Overton in sales was extremely helpful in all stages of the buying process from contacting me via email with specifics of the car, and following up with phone calls. He answered all the questions and concerns that I had. There was never any high pressure sale that was experienced. I did some preliminary research and found a used Lexus RX450h at Westgate. I told them I was upgrading so we could tow a light weight travel trailer. My research as to the towing capacity was ambiguous, depending on FWD vs. AWD and towing package. on site listed variance from 1500-5800 lb. My wife went over to scope out the car while I was at work. She looked for three things:1) Trade-in offer for our old card, 2) whether she liked the card as equipped.3) Most importantly, what was the car's actual towing capacity?The trade-in offer was within reason, she liked the car and when she asked the sales person the towing capacity, she was told 3500 lb. Adequate for our needs. She let me know and I arrived.Damone, the salesman was very pleasant, an mentioned the towing discussion, but not details. I mention the I had looked into ballpark rates and payments based on my credit union offerings. I have planned to collect the paperwork and review, but occasionally a dealer will actual beat the credit union. In this case they offered a longer term, which meant the payment was lower.When I got home with the vehicle and began to check the owners manual. FWD RX450h = no tow. I called to explain. I was told "all sales are final, but we can trade you for something else." Unfortunately, they nothing else that would get comparable gas mileage and tow 3500 lb. I tried to explain. I was insulted by the General Manager.On a positive note: Garret Eden, the finance guy gladly cancelled the maintenance agreements and was apologetic.While Westgate has a reasonable "buyer's remorse" policy, this was not a case of buyer's remorse, but being sold the wrong tool for the job, and then not having the correct tool in the store, but being asked to accept store credit anyway. If my wife had not explicitly asked about towing capacity, I would have to chalk this one up as a very expensive life lesson. But, she did ask.

I bought a Hellcat in the beginning of July 2015, They forgot to give me the 2nd red key. I called several times and always given excuses and told they would call back. Then I was told "we are mailing it/ Then 'you should get it any day" Now at the end of August I still have no 2nd red key. They barely washed it let alone prep it for delivery. I have pics of the back window that was so hazy you could barely see through it. It circles all over the back window from shipping? FILTHY!!! Horrible, unconcerned and uncaring dealership out for the biggest buck they can get.

December 20th expecting to just get my car (honda) appraised to see what I could get for it. I was looking for something used bc since I don't have the best of credit I didn't think getting a brand new car was a option. Overall my experience with my sales representative Edward was the best. At 70 years old, I was nervous shopping for my first new vehicle. My experience began with a phone call to Westgate. I spoke with a salesman named Richard Grizzard. I felt he listened very closely to my needs. When Richard quickly found a few vehicles within my price range and with the specific features I requested, he promptly called me back and set up a time for me to come in. From the first moment I spoke with Richard on the phone, I felt he was very knowledgeable and not just another salesman trying to make a sale. I felt he was honest and genuinely cared about finding the perfect vehicle match for me. When I arrived at Westgate and met Richard in person I felt more confident and less anxious about the whole buying experience. We ran into a minor problem with my limited credit and no available cash to put down, I thought my dreams of owning my first new vehicle was over. However, Richard Grizzard remained calm, patient and maintained a great sense of humor. Richard worked hard for me and a short time later he told me I was a new owner of a brand-new Jeep Grand Cherokee!!! I would definitely recommend Westgate to anyone and to ask for Richard Grizzard. Westgate Dodge Chrysler was my first purchase of a brand new Jeep which I paid cash for 400 miles later purchase it on Thursday on Saturday the hardtop was leaking oil and enter in my Jeepwent to service department to get fixed was put on a waiting list said they didn't have the part to fix it did it was a door seal gasket which I came home and looked online which was 29.99 for the most part door gasket if you were a Jeep dealership you would think that would have simple parts on hand the service department especially this service department manager told me that if the common problems for the 2015 wrangler so i purchased myself fixed it before the Jeep dealership could get the part in the service department you would think you would have simple parts on hand to fix simple problems special for customer had just purchased a brand new vehicle and now I have to wait a week for door gasket seal it's kind of ridiculous I think I'm going to pass on 250000 mile oil changes from Westgate rather do it myself at least I know it's done and I have the right parts for the project

I was in the market for a used vehicle for about 2 months. I finally located a truck I really liked online and decided to contact the dealership online to check the availability of the listed vehicle being that I am located in Atlanta GA and Westgate is in Raleigh NC. I was told it was available and then i inquired about financing. I was pleasantly surprised when a rep (Crystal) called me back concerning the financing and was able to get me approved in a matter of minutes! She was VERY nice and helpful! She also helped me secure the purchase of the vehicle until I could get to Raleigh that weekend. Sorry for the delay....first evaluation did not post...Met with Jeff Lyons over the 4th of July holiday to just look at vehicles. Once there, I became convinced a purchase was in the near future. Hard to believe but Jeff spent at least a half of the day with just me, even during a holiday sales promotion that had the dealership very busy. Needless to say, he wanted me perfectly happy with the experience. I had a couple of odd request for my vehicle and it turned out one was not available on site. Without even asking, Jeff and his manager took it upon theirselves to locate what I wanted out of town. With no formal agreement, they even went and got the vehicle for me. The rest is history. I have never received such great service as I did at Westgate Jeep. It was obvious Jeff and others made it their goal to make me a happy customer, regardless of their effort. I have nothing but the very best to say about my experience.

Danny listened to me explain what features were important to me, which makes/models interested me, and he answered any questions I had along the way immediately. I didn't feel pressured, I had done my research, and everything went smoothly for the whole process. The financing was great for what I was looking for, and nobody there grew impatient as I checked on things and decided what I wanted to buy. This was the first time I bought a car for myself, and I was apprehensive about going to a dealership. I thought I would prefer something like the Carmax approach where the price is set and I don't have to haggle with anyone. Westgate was exactly what I was looking for (though I didn't realize it at first) because they take a similar pricing approach but combine it with excellent knowledge and service. I'm so happy with my 2013 Hyundai Sonata, and I'm so glad I found Westgate Chrysler. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was shopping for a pre-owned certified truck and found it on Westgate's website. I knew what I wanted and didn't need someone to tell me. Bill Smith approached me on the lot, I let him know I wanted to see a specific truck. He gathered things and proceeded to the truck on the lot. He let me guide the process probably going against standard protocol of a car salesman. I took specific notes (yes, I brought a notebook and camera) and inspected the truck thoroughly myself. After taking the truck for a test drive Bill didn't do the traditional, let's go sit at a desk and talk about things (an obvious and telegraphed attempt at closing a "deal), instead we spoke in a very transparent fashion while still standing at the truck. We then looked at a few other trucks on the lot. I let Bill know my exact budget and he respected it and did not try and lure me with a fancy new truck that would stretch my limits financially as well as my lifestyle. A sincere handshake and genuine discussion seems to be a lost art in the car sales industry of quantitative data and repetitive procedures. It's refreshing to know that there are dealerships out there that allow their car salesmen to deviate away from the stereotypical car sales approach.

the worst car buying experience ever ,I go there to look at a truck and trade mine in tell them that I lost the title they say no problem .for one they wont come down on price of truck an 06 Tacoma as I test drove it I tell the sales guy it shakes and vibrates this needs to be checked out ,was told I will have the mechs look at it again ,ok fine oh by the way it needs a new power steering pump we will fix it I say ok .well as were dealing he says sorry wasn't the steering pump its the water pump we will fix it ,they could have done better on my trade in and worked with the price better .so next day I come back and was told sorry it wasn't water pump it was the power steering pump and we fixed it this sales guy didn't know what the heck needed to be fixed ,so I drive off in my new truck three days later I feel the vibration getting worse I look under truck the drive shaft is about to fall off from its bracket now if it was looked at again like I'd asked they would see this in a second so I call and they get it towed I go back the next day they say its fixed seeya I get down the road and my sister whos following me calls and says hey im behind you theres a big dent in your tailgate ,so I call dealer they say how do we know you didn't do it really!!! so after there investigation the tow truck driver said it was there fault and fixed it never heard from dealer again just a absolute nightmare. oh and remember they said don't worry about not having the title guess what I get a call a week later saying I needed to turn in paperwork about my title or I don't get my registration wait didn't I pay administration fees when I bought the truck now I've got to do the leg work .and when I called the salesman one day to ask a question this guy blows me off and says sorry cant talk to ya im closing a deal so basically im done with you we got your money these guys were all buddy buddy and smiles rite after those papers were signed it was screw you seeya .but hey its not all bad he did call to try and smooth the nightmare over and to say they wanted my business again in the future your kidding rite id rather get my teeth pulled this place was a joke stay away .my sales guy is not listed on here his name was Richard ,and ken moaven was another I was told to call that never returned my call once .

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation on my 2010 Jeep Commander.Came out with my oil 1 quart low,low wiper fluid,dirty air filter and wrong lug nut on my front wheel passenger side.Not sure if anything was done so I called Scott Hayes the next morning left a message because they have a very poor message/call back process.I never heard back so I contacted the service manager a 770 number which he never called me back so I emailed Michael Bardaxis then a guy named Bobby Stewart sent this email-mr c(xxxxxxxx)I am bob stewart service manager at westgate I have tried to call several time always busy feel free to stop by or call me to get a better understanding and see what we can do to help you bobs I am not sure what is going on but I will not be using this dealership again.Scott C.

I recently assisted my son with his fist new car purchase. I do expect good customer service but have rarely found it at car dealerships. After failed attempts at Hendrick Dodge we found several vehicles that caught our attention via the internet at Westgate Dodge. We visited the dealership after business hours and found one we really liked. With hesitation I sent an e-mail to Westgate the next day and was instantly contacted by Richard Grizzard. Richard answered every question and cut straight to the chase when asked to about the vehicle and the out the door price. We went to the dealership with short notice just to look, touch, and drive the vehicle. Richard was personable, likable, and attentive with us during the process. If you are looking to buy I would highly recommend contacting Richard Grizzard to start the sales process. Rest of the story - Once we decided to purchase we began the process that I am always skeptical of and that is dealing with finances and the games played there. To my surprise everyone was true to their word and nothing changed. You will receive pressure about the extended warranty (all dealerships do this) but ultimately it was my decision to make. Once the paperwork was signed we inspected the vehicle and found two smalls areas that contained minor damage. The General Manager told me he would personally have the vehicle repaired and two days later he was true to his word. We are completely satisfied. I would give 5's across the board had it not been for the damage to the vehicle and the required trip to Westgate for the minor repairs. Buyers like me deserve good customer service. If you do not get it just walk away or wait for the General Manager to make things right.

On July 26, 2014, I went to look at cars for my sister and niece who live in CT. I was looking for a car for a 17 yr. old. I was greeted by Ernest Green and he was pleasant and knowledgeable. My son loves the vehicle so we are satisfied. Be ready for pressure about extended warranty it will come but Garret Edens was professional explaining the program. Westgate Dodge delivered on their word when I expected and was prepared for the opposite.

I found 2 used Jeep Grand Cherokees online at this dealership that I liked. So on Sunday afternoon my husband and I drove about an hour to this dealership to test drive both Jeeps. The salesman (Paul Boyd) was very helpful, knowledgeable and was very patient. I test drove both Jeeps and then my husband drove one. If you are interested in purchasing a car from this dealership, don't bother----- they don't care if they get your business or not. I found the car I really wanted and asked for the lowest price including taxes and tags. I explained that I was 121 miles away. I told them that my husband and I would drive up and pay for it. I waited all day for them to return my email. The next day, just about 24 hours later, I receive the following reply, :" Hey _________, I'm afraid that Liberty was bought last night. Is there another vehicle you're interested? Thanks, _________ The first time I contacted him about the jeep, I got a response within the hour. Once they found out that I was good distance away, or I was not interested in a new car----- it didn't matter. Don't bother trying to deal with this crowd ------ they don't care if they get your business or not.

I bought a used vehicle from westgate dodge two months ago. It has been in their shop for one of the two months( yes that's right a WHOLE month). I WILL NEVER deal with these people again. They sell you a vehicle quick but good luck ever getting service. They do not return calls well. Going to the dealership is a major mistake I learned the hard way. I'm still having problems. They had it 3 weeks the first time and returned it to me with parts missing and more parts not fastened down I have never seen more incompetence in my life.

I've bought 15 cars in the last 10.5 years. Never been treated like this. Called made an appointment, 6pm, got there at 6:03. Was shown the car I emailed/called about and was sent on a test drive. Came back 5 min later and sat down and waited on the sales person. He was talking to someone, another customer I guess. Sat there till closing. This whole time not one person from the dealership said a word to me. Another customer talked to me, she was ready to go home too. not one person from the dealership said a word. I drove 90 min to buy this car. Well it is still sitting there on the lot. I guess the sales person did not want to give me to another sales person that was not busy he wanted all the sales commision, got none.

Watch out for this dealer. Not only have they used unfair business acts with my personal information after the purchase but Will in service is very rude. He was taking personal calls while I stood waiting for help and right before I walked out he finally helped me. After my car was done he just said to me my car is done and handed me my keys. Not a here is what you owe, can you sign here, your car is parked in this area, or even a thank you. I got the dealerships survey a couple days later and gave him a lower rating from this experience and he decided he would call me from his cell phone to yell at me for not giving him a perfect rating. That is extremely bad customer service and I will not deal with a company that allows this to happen.

This was my first time buying a car so I was a little nervous. I had spent weeks researching the different types of cars I wanted and finally settled on the Chrysler Town and Country. After using various sites to see what the selection looked like in the surrounding area I had found one at a great price at Westgate. I had sent an internet inquiry and Paul got back to me setting up an appointment for the the weekend. When I got there the van I actually wanted to see was unavailable as the keys were currently checked out by another Sales person who was off. That was disappointing but after doing a walk around I realized the car wasn't what I was looking for. Paul was very accommodating and showed me a few others in the same price range. The one I settled on was fantastic with a great ride, and most of the features I wanted and even some I hadn't even factored in. While working numbers we had found out the price the GM had originally given him was incorrect and the vehicle was supposed to be hire but instead of backing out or saying no to working with me they honored the first price stated. This is huge for me because a previous dealership had actually done the exact same thing but instead of acknowledging their error and trying to work from their or work with that original number and get close to it they tried to jump back up to the correct price without any type of incentive for me to keep dealing with them. After working with Paul they turned me over to Lee, he came off a little spikey at first but he could have been dealing with an issue before meeting me because after a few minutes he was very pleasant to work with and even helped me further with financing so that I was able to take home a great car at a fantastic price. This dealership is really fantastic, I'll be bringing my other car in, in a bit for a potential trade in so it will be interesting to see how they are on that end. But if you're looking for a used car you should check out this dealership. Staff wise they're excellent. Just call ahead to make sure if you're coming for a specific car that the keys are actually available for you to test drive. And definitely do the 540 test drive path, one of the vans I was thinking about was very nice and smooth on a normal rode but after getting it onto the highway the car rode a little rough and you could def tell something was off either an alignment issue or the wheels needed to be balanced. Other then that great, great, GREAT dealership to work with. Thank you for making my first car purchase an incredibly smooth and non-traumatic adventure.

I noticed the vehicle I purchased was leaking oil a day after I bought it.(I'm sure the engine was pressure washed)I take it back to get repaired and the supervisor tells me it's the valve cover gasket, witch I already know because I work on cars.I leave my vehicle there to get a VALVE COVER GASKET and it TAKES 2 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!! I call to see if my car is ready.The supervisor says not yet .I tell him "If my car isn't ready today I need a loaner car.He calls me back in 30 minutes and says is ready.I go and pick up my car,drive it home and I smell oil burning.MY CAR IS STILL LEAKING OIL!!!The next day when I Get in my truck it's oil all on my floor mats from the mechanic.Take in from me PLEASE PURCHASE YOUR VEHICE ELSEWHERE so you don't have to go through what I had to go through.PLEASE!!!!

I cannot remember having a more inspiring experience with my car being serviced than that with Will Cooper last month. The specific details are not important--it centered upon an agreed upon delivery time being delayed interminably with false promises: that is until Will took up my cause personally by delivering me to the body shop where he actually helped do the repairs, returning to me a large part of my payment, and then insisting on my bringing my car in at a later time for a detailed cleaning as yet another apology for my initial frustration.His deep concern, professionalism, brilliant problem solving, and touching kindnesses would be extraordinary in any occupation. I am in his debt for such empathy for his customers. I can only repay him by spreading the word and being a loyal customer to Westgate because of their being smart enough and lucky enough to keep him.

I was mistreated by SEVERAL big name dealerships in the area and because I was even made to CRY once I was VERY apprehensive to go to any more dealerships. I was made to feel like a non-human since I wanted a used vehicle. I was told to try Westgate. I do not do reviews but I will find every last review site and post this! Loretta heard my plight and made sure she and Brian treated me like royalty! I not only got a great car but they went above and beyond for me. I walked into the WestGate Dealership on a cold winter night and told the man that greeted me, John Overton, that I was looking for a new ride... but was only ready to buy if we found something that really excited me. He helped me look through their inventory online and we made a few notes, and then he grabbed the keys to a few of their more unique vehicles. The first one I drove, a nice used convertible, felt perfect, so I told him not to bother with the others. I made an offer, then we had a fair negotiation and we very quickly came to an agreement. After that he even went out and rolled up his sleeves to help with the final detail/cleaning process himself to make sure I was able to leave in a decent time frame. I'll definitely recommend John to any friends looking for a salesman who cuts to the chase... time is valuable, so that no-nonsense approach matters to folks like me.

As we drove our newly purchased 2008 Toyota Sienna minivan (with less than 50,000 miles on it) 90 miles home to Greenville, NC, the transmission died. The dealership was less than sympathetic, telling us we were being unreasonable expecting them to do anything about the problem(s), since it would be covered under the factory warranty. Almost one year later, we are still having one problem after another with it and truly wish we had cancelled the sale. It has become apparent that we bought a lemon, and Westgate knew it, yet sold it to us anyway. We are disgusted. From now on, we will only deal with local folks we know and trust.

I worked with Brian Hereghty on the purchase of a new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT from Westgate. My experience during order, delivery, and final purchase of the vehicle was outstanding. I was given a build time of 6-8 weeks and the vehicle was delivered exactly at the 7 week mark! The Finance manager, Garret Edens, also was very helpful during the process. Steve Hux, the new car manager was not that friendly during our brief encounter ( possible that he may have been having a rough day). Overall it was and will be a pleasure dealing with Westgate.

We bought our son a truck from Westgate at the end of August and needed a newer used vehicle for my husband in September. We drove up to Westgate again with the purpose of finding another great deal. We met with Jon Wallace, he showed us the cars in our price and mileage range and took them for a test drive. Although it was late, he knew that we had driven over 2 hours to get there and didn't rush the process. My husband chose his vehicle, the paperwork was done quickly and we drove it home. I would HIGHLY recommend buying a car from this dealership. They have the best selection of used vehicles in NC and the customer service is fantastic. WE LOVE JON and trust him to sell us a great vehicle that not only looks good but can also be depended on. The handling of the paperwork was easy, the price was what we were quoted and the gentleman that we spoke with was very personable. If you go anywhere else, you will regret it.

I sent an email to the dealer, requesting to see a vehicle and was contacted within minutes by Molly, who was super friendly and willing to make sure that the vehicle was ready and waiting at the time I would be available to test drive it. Afterwards, I applied on-line for financing and was contacted by an equally nice young lady who went over the detailsof my application with me. Upon arriving at the dealership, the vehicle I was interested in was pulled to the front, and Gerald, my sales person, was ready to go with me for a test drive. Loved the car, decided to buy it, and my financing was already worked out before I got there. Absolutely everyone I encountered at this dealership was wonderful, and though I purchased a lower cost used car, treated me just as if I were buying a high dollar new car. I went in with my 10 and 5 year old boys and experienced zero stress. The process was quick, everyone was professional and kind, and we were out the door in our new, used vehicle. I have previously purchased from Westgate and based on that experience, wanted to be a repeat customer...I am SO glad that I did!

I purchased a used car from Mr. Wesley Parker at the location. Mr. Parker was a really good person to talk to about anything, everything including the vehicle. Although I drove almost two hours on two seperate days, the day I drove to pick up the vehicle everything was ready so that I could get back for work. If there was anything I can say negative was the car was dusty (not clean) and the tires on the vehicle were mismatched (2 and 2).Two were good tires and two were off brand on a really nice luxury car. The dealership would not bend, not saying that it was the saleman. I like vehicles and expect them to be correct or corrected when I purchase one with my hard earn money.

Purchased a used 2005 Tan Wrangler with 3month/3k mile warranty. Within first week, timing chain broke.After having it towed to Westgate, service said I had not warranty, but they would cover half the cost.Multiple calls to sales rep/mananger, they agreed it had warranty. They assured me it was fixed and was running good. 3 weeks later, the death wobble appears (check it out on line). Multiple calls and they agreed to fix it. They also put new rotors on. I told sales manager i am not comfortable with the car. He assured me they would make it right. 3 weeks after the service, the left front tire fell off on a highway. Luckily no injuries. Several weeks later, still in warranty time, but beyond miles, severe misfire occurs. Have it towed to Westgate again and they could not replicate error code(that was reset another servicer). Engine was running very rough. They agreed to allow trade in amount of 85% of original purchase amount if i bought another car from them. They also offered $500 off the list of another car. I told them not enough and to just buy the car back as I did not want to deal with them any more. They offered me me 70% of original purchase amount. I lost 30% value in 3 months. BY THE WAY.. I bought a new Ram 1500 from them in MARCH of this year. This is how they treated me...a repeat customer. I will not service my RAM there as i do not trust their service capabilities.

In June I took my Jeep Wrangler in for an oil change. I was a little concerned about the time it would take because I had my two kids with me. When I pulled up to the service line, I was immediately greeted by a friendly, gentleman who assured me that it should not take any longer than 30-45 mins. He then escorted us to the waiting area. I decided while waiting, i would visit the parts department to purchase a cover for my spare tire. Once again, I was greeted with a friendly, very helpful young gentleman. I don't remember his name, but I do remember he was from Hillsborough...highly recommend talking with him when visiting the parts department. While looking through the catalog at the different covers, the salesman that worked with me during my purchase in FEBRUARY walked by, and he actually remembered me. You could tell he was busy, but he actually stopped to say hi, and to let me know if I needed anything at all, any questions or concerns, please let him know. I highly recommend working with Bill Rory when purchasing a vehicle. After ordering my cover, my kids and I returned to the very clean and comfortable waiting area to wait for my vehicle, and yes the service gentleman was correct. My vehicle was ready in 30 mins...not bad at all! Several days later I returned to pick up my cover, and the gentleman from the parts department not only greeted me with a friendly smile, but he put the cover on my spare tire. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to visit Westgate Jeep!!!!

I had seen the car I was interested in on Cars.Com. I called and spoke to Molly, an internet specialist. She was very courteous and helpful. When we arrived (after a 1-1/2 hour drive), the salesman immediately told us that the price was only negotiable by "maybe $100". This before we'd driven the car. I liked the car, and my husband made an offer. The young salesman said "Well that's not gonna happen". That seemed to be a pretty rude response. I would have suggested "Sir, we want you to have this car. We'll work with you and find a figure that we can both agree on". The visit was over at that point; my husband was walking out the door. That was a total waste of 3 hours of drive time plus the time to test drive the car. The parking lot was packed and it was hard to navigate around the dealership. By contrast, a dealer here in Burlington found a Lucerne that I liked. We were shaking hands on a deal within 15 minutes after the test drive.

I cannot say enough great things about my experience at Westgate. From the moment I entered the lot, I had a professional and welcoming experience. The entire sales department was very patient and did an outstanding job with me in finding the right car. After test driving numerous Grand Cherokee's and looking at several others options to make sure this was the one. My husband and I decided after all the hard work put into helping us this was the best decision. Now comes the part most people dread but before even starting to negotiate I was given a more than fair number. I can proudly say I now drive a Westgate Jeep. Absolutely unimpressed and quite upset at the way I've been treated. On Tuesday, 7/9/13 my husband and I purchased a used 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe with 38,400 miles on it from Westgate. Our salesman was Wes Parker. During the test drive, Wes told us that the car had the remainder of a 5 year/60k mile bumper to bumper warranty. The very next day I called Hyundai to see if recalls that were showing on the Carfax had been fixed. Two (2) were showing, and to my surprise there were actually three (3) recalls that were unfixed. There was the first problem. How am I to believe that this car was put through ANY kind of inspection, if it was sold to us with all these un-remedied recalls? The second thing I inquired about was the warranty. At that time I was told that the car had the remainder of the power train and emission warranties only. To say that this was a huge letdown would be an understatement since there were things about the vehicle that we knew needed to be fixed, and thought we would be able to take it to a Hyundai dealership to have fixed. Plain and simple, the 2-3 years and 21,000-ish miles left on the warranty were what made us decide on THIS vehicle over several others we were considering.On Thursday, 7/11/13 I sent Wes an email expressing that we felt we were misled and would like to return the vehicle. Today, Friday 7/12/13, I received a call from Wes. I have always known that car salesman do not care to know you after you sign the papers and drive off the lot, but Wes really drove home that thought today. He insisted that the bumper to bumper warranty was in fact, still in effect. I told him that Hyundai directly told me the opposite and that I gave them a few examples of things needing fixing, to which they confirmed, were not covered. He still insisted, and even read to me some verbiage about the bumper to bumper warranty being transferable. When I asked where he was reading from he said, "(omitted).com autos". Wes must be one of those people who think that because it is on the internet it MUST be true, despite my being given the correct information straight from the company who issues the warranty! While having the conversation, I can honestly say that Wes was not the slightest bit nice and actually had the audacity to say to me, "There is no grace period in this state. You signed a contract and it's yours." He also said he would talk to his used car manager to see if he would agree to fix the items, but that they were under no obligation to do so and that if I wanted to return the car I should call the General Manager, but should not expect him to agree to take the car back. So, in a nutshell, my husband and I were either lied to or misled and our salesman was not cooperative, receptive or friendly once he realized we wanted to take his commission away. Unfortunately for Westgate Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, it will be my pleasure to shout my experience from the rooftop of every social media outlet I can.Update: On 7/13/13 I had my 3 children as well as my Mother in the car on the way to the airport in the rain. Surprise! The wipers smeared instead of wiped and as a bonus, the washer fluid lines to both the front AND back are clogged! No washer fluid to try and clear my smeared windshield while driving 65-70 down the highway! Add disregard for human safety to save a buck to the many reasons why this is nothing but bad dealership!Update: On 7/15/13 I called and spoke to the GM Mike. Did he reach out to me? No. Even though he said he had read my review online. He agreed to fix my drivers door, which wasn't opening properly and my windshield washer issue. On 7/16/13 I went in for the repairs. Never once was I asked is I wanted to be taken home. Never once was I given a time frame for the repairs. In fact, at one point the Service Adviser came to tell me the washer pump had gone bad and they they were sending someone off the property to get the part. Again, no mention of how long it would take. I ended up sitting there for 3 hours. Add to that the 35 minutes it take me to get home from there, (I work from home), and I ended up losing 3.5+ hours of pay. When the SA finally came to get me he told me that 2 different techs said there was nothing wrong with my door and that, "it's supposed to act that way". Ironically, none of the other 3 doors operate that way. Lucky for me my 16 year son is an aspiring auto mechanic and adjusted my door to perfect in a matter of seconds. Anyway, I left the dealership just as frustrated as I had been for days, and pulled over on a curb. I washed my windshield with my new pump, and wow, what a joke. I can blow liquid out of a straw harder then the water that was shooting about 3 inches up onto my windshield. I've owned a lot of cars and will this work to clean my windshield? Yes, it will, but it isn't right. They use inferior products. Or perhaps only for me since my repairs were free. Who knows. What I do know is that buying this car has been the single worst transaction in my life.

We drove over 80 miles to look at this car. I contacted Westgate over a week prior to test driving this vehicle. Then the day before the appointed test drive I call and confirmed the appointment. When my wife and I arrived we were greeted and made comfortable while we waited for the car to be brought around. Upon seeing the car and doing a quick walk around inspection, we noted that the car had not been washed and cleaned even though they were well aware of our pending visit. Both windshield wipers were in shreds. If we had encountered a rain shower on our test drive, the wipers would have been useless. Upon returning to the Dealership, we made an offer on the car even though we expressed our displeasure in the condition of the car because the mechanical condition of the car seemed to be acceptable. We made an offer on the car and the salesman took it to the sales manager. When he returned, he had a contract with the advertised retail plus taxes, title, and license and told us that that was the price of the car and indicated that there would be no reduction in price. At that point I made another offer within $1300.00 of their price and I was told that that would not be possible. We thanked the salesman for his time and left the Dealership. The next day I was contacted by a representative of the Dealership and asked about my experience. I told him what I have said in this review.

Tommy took very good care of my girlfriend and I and we did not feel any pressure at all. He worked out the numbers for the new car and a very fair amount for our trade in. We will definitely be recommending Tommy and Westgate to our friends looking for cars.

I purchased a Porsche 911 here, and was satisfied with the process. They negotiated on the deal, coming up on the trade value of my Corvette. The only thing I was pretty dissapointed about was that they did not service the car. I should have thought about it before making a committement, but I assumed that all used cars get the oil changed and serviced when they are put on the lot for sale. When I asked what they did to it, so that I knew when it was sericed, I was told that they dont changed the oil on cars like a Porsche becaused they feel the buyers would want to go to a Porsche dealer to have that done....not a very good excuse. It boils down to the fact that they take 10 qts of synthetic oil and it is expensive. The sales guy Nathan was great, new to the business but very eager to take care of the customer. My advice would be if you are buying a vehicle other than what they have a dealership for, make sure you insist that the car be serviced.

I found this dealership in an online search for a used BMW. I was contacted buy Stephanie Hughes who invited me to look at the online inventory. After reading the description of the vehicle, I set up an appointment to see the car. When I arrived at the dealership, I was warmly greeted and introduced to Bill Roy. After I drove the car, I decided that I would negotiate a trade if possible. Bill was very professional in every respect, He made an offer, I made a counter offer and it was accepted. The car I purchased was fairly priced and the deal was completed in less than 2 hours. I found Westgate Chrysler to be an unusual dealership. The prices are reasonable and the sales associates are professional in every respect. None of the typical used car 'tricks' were attempted. I am well pleased with both my purchase and with the buying experience.

I have already recommended Westgate! I was in need of a car, found a 2007 Honda Cr-v on www.cars.com, which was located at Westgate Chrysler Jeep. We live about an hour from the location, but it was worth the drive to do business with this dealership! I had a 2004 Honda Accord to trade, this dealership went far beyond the trade-in value of my car, than I ever expected! I went and looked at the cr-v, there was no pressure, just a great, professional atmosphere! Really enjoyed doing our business here, and will definitely do it again in the future!

Westgate raises the bar for car sales. The staff was helpful, friendly and straightforward. As out-of-state buyers, we were apprehensive, but the staff smoothed every potential rough spot. Had an appointment here with Stephanie just to test drive a new Dodge Charger. I was met by Bill Roy instead. I wasn't very interested in the color of the only model they had on the lot. Turns out it looked much better in person, better than the color I wanted. Took a test drive, loved the car. We ran some numbers, haggled a bit, and went home with a new Charger after only about 2.5 hours or so with a great price and very smooth and friendly experience. No rush, no pressure, just felt like friends selling a car.Great people and a great experience. They had some bad reviews in the past, but apparently they've had a change in ownership a few years ago. I don't have any experience with how they were then, but no complaints about my experience last week.

I called Westgate Jeep to see if they would consider letting our Elementary School display one of their red Wranglers in the front of our school for a fundraiser. This was a big question to ask of a dealership and they said YES! Not only did they say yes, but they called me back in a very timely way and were truly interested in what our school fundraiser was all about! They delivered it to our school and parked it right in front of the cafeteria for all to see! Having the red jeep really got the kids, teachers and parents excited about our fundraiser! I have already told our PTA to go to Westgate Jeep for their car needs and I definitely will too! They were so kind to let us display their jeep at our school...thank you again Emily and Westgate Jeep!!!

From the initial contact with Stephanie Hughes and the hand off to Brian Hereghty the experience was smooth and quick. Stephanie responded quickly to my inquires and when I arrived at the dealership Brian took over and was thoroughly prepared. I filled out the application online and was contacted by Crystal shortly thereafter. I let her know our situation of needing a car quickly because ours had just broken down. She was extremely friendly and helpful and let me know exactly what I needed to do. She discussed our situation with Lee and John and told me they were waiting for our arrival. Once we got to the dealership, John had a selection of vehicles for us and all the information we could have wanted. Lee got the papers together quickly once we made our decision and we were on our way. We never felt rushed. Highly recommended.

It was time to replace an older vehicle and I found a perfect Dodge Ram at Westgate. I had the good fortune to work with John Overton. John and the staff at Westgate made my buying experience the best I've had anywhere. I would definitely recommend Westgate and would purchase from them again. In fact, I did! A week later we decided to retire an old pickup that was on it's last legs. I called John again. It was his day off, but he took time out of his week to come to the office to meet with me. I got a fair, although not as much as I wanted (is it ever?) trade-in for the old truck and a few hours later was driving home in a very nice sedan. Oh, and they managed to track down a pair of Oakley sunglasses that were left in the first trade-in. I didn't expect to see those again. Once again John, and the staff at Westgate, exceeded my expectations. When it comes time for another vehicle, Westgate will definitely be at the top of my list. Thanks everyone!

I purchased a used Truck from Westgate and was the most pleasant car buying experience I have had to date. Brian Hereghty was knowledgeable, professional, and lived up to his word. He exceeded my expectations. Bill Roy stepped in to advise me with my options as it was the first time I had purchased a truck through my company rather than personally. He helped me structure financing that would not effect my personal finances. I was a little disappointed at first when they would not negotiate on their price so I did not purchase the truck on my first visit. Brian recommended I shop around and see if it made sense to me. I researched all available options for the same vehicle and discovered that it was priced several thousand dollars below the best offer I received elsewhere for a nearly identical truck. I would highly recommend Westgate as as dealership to do business with.

I purchased a used 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit in early December 2012. I came across the Jeep while searching online for the particular model and found a couple that matched what I was looking for at Westgate. I sent in an inquiry about the vehicles and received a prompt response. I set up an appointment for the next day. Upon arriving I was promptly greeted and introduced to Don Phillips. Don made a great impression. He was very friendly and interested in finding out what I was looking for. We went for a couple test drives with the cars I was interested in. I never felt pressure at anytime to go with the more expensive vehicle or to purchase a vehicle at all. After deciding on a vehicle the credit group was very helpful and along with Don and the group we were able to get a monthly payment that fit into my budget. They also gave me a fair price for my trade-in. I would highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from Westgate, overall it was great experience.

My wife and I just purchased a new RAM truck from Westgate CJDR in Raleigh. We had evaluated various models of Jeeps & RAM trucks at a few other dealers during the past month, but the general sense from the sales people (and managers) was "when are you going to buy?" and "what will it take to put you into that Jeep/RAM today?".At Westgate CJDR, from the moment we walked through the doors, everyone went out of their way to greet us, welcome us to the dealership and demonstrated a sincere willingness to make sure that our needs were met. This wasn't about them, their sales goals, the quick deal, the long negotiations and the general back & forth that usually occurs when buying, it was about what we wanted and the best possible way to achieve that goal.The entire staff was gracious and did everything they could to make the entire process smooth and effortless. They made sure every single question was answered, any concerns were addressed immediately (such as comparing features from one vehicle to another) and presented us with an offer that literally was too good to be true and couldn't be refused. This was the easiest, lowest stress vehicle purchase we have ever completed.At this time we would like to express how grateful we are to have connected with such a truly consumer-oriented group whose approach is to make the customer happy. As we drove away last night, we were both giddy with excitement about the purchase and immensely thankful to have met the entire staff.When it comes time to make the next purchase for our household, we will run (not walk) to Westgate CJDR knowing that it will be another wonderful experience.Thank you again to the entire staff. I went to Westgate expecting the typical dealer games that one would expect and that I've experienced in the past. That is not what I found here. These folks were genuinely friendly and honestly wanted to help me. I tried Sport Durst before trying here and THOSE folks were typical of car sales folks. So glad I went to Westgate instead. Gave me a great price and exactly what I wanted on my trade-in (a very difficult combination to get elsewhere).

After EXTENSIVE searching and shopping, there were more vehicles at Weatgate than any other prospected lot that fit my criteria. John (sales) was more than patient with my long list of demands and showed me some additional options. He answered all of my questions and offered excellent options.After deciding on two used options, Garrett and Tom (finance) ran down competitive quotes for financing that not only allowed me to purchase something that had so much more than I expected, but still came in comfortably under my maximum budget. I walked away with a vehicle that had less than half of the mileage of my original option, more bells and whistles, and was still able to have the full extended warranty plus gap insurance for an even lower payment. The banks do have a lot to say about that, but these men made it happen.Whenever this vehicle ceases to manage my needs, I will be sure to return!

Though I did not buy my Scion tC from Westgate, I took my car there to get new tires and then again to get some body work done on it. The customer service was excellent and the job was done quickly. As for the body work, I had many dents from hail on the front hood removed, as well as the front end of the car repainted due to severe road rash. I also got my headlights polished. The body work was phenomenal! My car looks like new!! I LOVE IT!

I have had the pleasure of using this dealership sales and service departments for the past 2yrs. I bought my 08 Jeep Grand Cherokee there for what I believe was a really good price. (Salesman was really nice but I can t remember his name. Sorry) I have been going back for regular maintenance since then and have been very happy. It may cost a little more to have it done at a dealership instead of Jiffylube or some other quick serve place but I know the person working on my baby knows all about it. It s what they do. P.S. Oh Yeah...They are Green . They have solar panels and a tv in the showroom where you can see how much energy they are collecting. That is so cool!

I called Westgate in advance and spoke with "Bob" and arranged to stop by and check out a particular style jeep they had in stock. "Bob" assured me over the phone that Westgate would beat a price from another dealership near the military post that I'm currently stationed. Since I live approximately one hour and thirty minutes away from WestgateCJDR, and frequently work late hours, getting to this dealership was stressful to say the least. I am currently serving on active duty in the U.S. Army and made my way in uniform immediately after work. Upon arriving, I was greeted by "Bob", Jim Defreest, and a "manager" from sales. Mr. Defreest briefly showed me the vehicle of interest and took me inside to "see what the numbers are." After being quoted a number that did not come close to matching the dealers number near Ft. Bragg, I received a call from another dealership nearby (AutoparkCJD) claiming that they had the same vehicle at a lower price. As I briefly spoke with the salesman from Autopark on my cellphone, I was approached my the "manager" from sales whom I mentioned earlier. The gentleman grabbed the paperwork off the desk and stated, "that's it I'm not selling you a Jeep." To which I replied, "excuse, me." The manager then stated, "I'm not going to sell you a Jeep when your shopping around with other dealerships over the phone in my dealership." Needless to say, I felt completely disrespected and angry as I walked out.My question to Westgate is, "As a consumer, wouldn't YOU shop around for a better price on an expensive vehicle.Especially after being mislead into driving 1.5 hours to be presented with a deal much different than was stated over the phone." Apparently this dealership has a lack of respect for the customer and for Military Personnel fighting for the exact freedoms that allow for a privately owned business like WestgateCDJ to remain in existence today. The employees and employers should be ashamed of themselves and I'll be sure to inform my fellow soldiers as well as Chairman Sergio Marchionne of the condescending attitude and lack of respect that Westgate has for the average consumer and military personnel.

I took my 2012 jeep in for my first service and was told I had a hole in my axle boot and may have hit something with it by the Service Advisor. I was not happy because I have not taken my jeep off road and don't remember running over anything. I spoke with the Service Manager Davis Williams and he made me feel very comfortable that he would repair my vehicle at no charge and he offered me a car to drive while it was being worked on. I recently purchased a 2012 Ram 1500 4x4 Express from Brain. He was extremely helpful and extremely patient. I got in contact with the dealership over the internet while I was in Afghanistan. At first i was going to purchase just any truck that fit the minimal description. 4x4, express, crew cab, spray in bed liner, trailer receiver, and built in from the factory trailer brake control. so we start going through the motions. eventually we get the point of almost purchase. I didn't do it. he was very understandable. he asked me what i was looking for and i sent him a link of the truck that I really wanted. the truck was in South Carolina. After some talk and price negotiation, the truck was shipped up to West Gate free of charge. Once it was there, Brian took the truck to the detailer, put the items I requested in the truck. we agreed on a below market value price and pricing out the door was below what most people pay for the truck without taxes and license. The whole time Brian Stayed in contact with me, was on my side as far as price negotiations and helped me to find the truck of my dreams. Upon return from Afghanistan I went to the dealer. At the dealer, the truck was washed, waxed, cleaned, and fueled up ready for me to take home. Since we had been talking already for several months, Brian set it up so that it took less then an hour. I went into the finance room and was able to haggle even more with the finance manager to achieve a lower rate. Over all, I leave the dealer with a top of the line brand new truck, a low payment, a low interest rate, and a dealer that I can trust to take care of me and my truck. I would recommend any person to go through Westgate to purchase their vehicle. They will get you the best prices, the best customer service, and the best service you can ask for from a dealership. I have dealt with four separate dealerships for new car buying. This would be my fifth car dealer. out of all five Westgate gave me the best car buying experience. Go with Westgate and you wont be disappointed.

Me and my husband drove from Fishersville, VA to Raleigh to look at a car at this dealership. It was a four hour drive, and we were not disappionted. The vehicle was exactly what we were hoping for and just like the website descibed it as. The salesperson we worked with was Paula Foster and we have nothing but great things to say about her. She was very helpful and patient with us when getting all the information for the vehicle we were interested in. She was very honest and I felt like she really cared about getting us the right vehicle not just getting a vehicle sold. Our recent experience with Westgate Jeep was certainly a positive adventure for us. We purchased a 2011 Grand Cherokee Jeep and we love it. Our salesperson was Ali Razavi, and it was a joy working with him. Ali never did pressure us on what to buy and when to buy, he asked us what we wanted in a vehicle and then "listened" to what we had to say. His knowledge and expertise was a benefit to us in making the right purchase that suited our needs. For example, Ali informed us about the advantages of the new design of the 2011 model compared to the 2010 model. Ali was the main reason why we decided to purchase the 2011 Grand Cherokee at Westgate Jeep. Overall, everyone we had contact with at Westgate Jeep was friendly and eager to assist us.

Went there to buy a used car for my son and the salesman was nice and helpful at first. As the process when on and I had questions I was told that that was "no problem" time and time again. But as I was trying to close the deal I starting getting the round around. The salesman told me he must have "misunderstood" THERE WAS NO WAY HE COULD HAVE MISUNDERSTOOD. I WAS VERY CLEAR ON ALL MY CONCERNS. WASTED TWO HOURS HEARING THEIR CRAP JUST TO KEEP ME THERE. It was a nice looking car at a fair price, but the people that work there are not honest about helping you, they just want to tell you anything to sell a car.

When he moved to Westgate I moved my service business there as well. Paul is reason Westgate services my jeep. Definatly not a place to go if buying used! We were sold an "as is piece of junk". Had to bring vehicle back two weeks after purchase for many repairs,(one of which were the brake rotors that the salesman had told us to bring back and they would fix only to cut down the rotors and put old pads back on!), and ended up dishing out $250 two weeks after purchase! On top of it we were told it was over $1000 work done on it, gave us an itemized repair list with no costs listed, telling us they were charging us out of "Good Faith". Good Faith would have been to sell a vehicle that had been repaired before resale! After paying for repairs drove off lot and ABS light goes on! Brought it right back, they take it into garage to look at, came back out ten minutes later and tell us that the light went off in the garage and to take it, (that was real assuring) and if it goes back on to bring it back. Drive it out of the lot and the ABS light goes back on! Brought it right back for them to have it another 2 days before it was actually repaired. They scammed us good by not inspecting it until after we brought it back for repairs! They ended up doing the inspection after we paid for the problems to be fixed! This place is definitely crooked. I have bought many used cars from new and used dealerships and it has always been a fair deal without problems! I actually thought that dealers that had the nerve to sell junks today were out dated. Especially new car dealerships. This place was a joke! After reading this review their customer service person, Ed Scarbrough, called us telling us he wanting to try to make things right for the loss of our time and aggravation. First he told us that we should get our money back because we have a warranty with a $100 deductible. After a week of Ed calling and trying to get the situation corrected, getting the owner involved, we were still told everything done was done under "Good Faith". Ed was understanding and willing to work with us,especially after we had found a crack in our radiator needing a new one adding to the problems of this "Good Faith" purchase! Knowing that final decisions came from the OWNER, working with us was out of his hands and could only offer us $100.00 for the radiator to be replaced, again waisting our time. Comments from them that may follow this will be laughable I am sure. As an owner of over 7 used vehicles between myself and family members, I can not tell you how aggravating and a complete waist of time and money it was purchasing from here. In the end the owner did what ever he needed to do to save money, as well as their services department taking short cuts putting costs on the buyer. Please, if you took the time to read this, save your time and money and go somewhere else for a used vehicle. Most dealers actually fix their cars before selling them and you will have your vehicle at least year before putting money into it without a hassle, even if it is sold "as is".

Went online to DodgeRam site to build my husband his "dream" truck on Sunday. Site directed me to Westgate for a "moderate" match. My husband will only drive a regular cab truck, must have 4x4 and be a Ram 2500 in a dark color. His last truck (which we traded at Westgate and were very happy with the tradein process & price) took 3 months & 19 states to find. Well, Bill Roy, the BEST of the Best, called me on Monday to discuss my hard to find dream truck. On Tues sent an email, followed up by a phone call to say he located a truck in Ohio that had all I wanted except the running boards AND was my first choice in the color wanted, (dark mineral gray-it's BEAUTIFUL!) and Westgate could put on the running boards. Plus they would make arrangements to "flat bed" towtruck it to Raleigh, NC for us as my husband will only buy it "new" with only 50 miles or less on it. (He wants to "break" it in-lol). Within ONE WEEK of first talking with Bill Roy we were driving 4 hours to Raleigh to tradein & buy-bring home the perfect dream truck. Meeting Bill Roy in person was wonderful, as we waited for the truck to be readied for us, (truck arrived from Ohio about the same time as we arrived) Bill Roy kept us informed of the status and checked on us and was so personable we felt like we had known him for years. The entire experience with Bill Roy and Westgate went above my expectations. As both my husband and myself are in our 50's we have bought many vehicles over the years, and this purchase experience was by the far the best and most enjoyable, we would highly recommend Bill Roy and Westgate Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Raleigh, NC to anyone looking for a vehicle purchase no matter where you live!!

After finding the perfect car, our salesman, Eric, had us very happy and excited to receive a used car for a college student. Our cosigner was out of state, but he assured that it would be no problem. He said that they FedEx'd loan applications all the time.However, when we went back to sign the paper work, we were handed off twice to a new financial manager, who told us that they did NOT accept out of state cosigners without them being present, and that everything would have to be titled and insured in the other state. Eric was apologetic, and said that he had no idea that the policy was the way it was; that it had just recently changed. They sent us off angry and disappointed.Later that day, we went to several other dealerships who took no problem accepting out of state cosigners, contrary to what we had been told at Westgate. It was only a policy at Westgate.The next day, we called back and talked to a DIFFERENT financial manager. He told us that everything we had been told was wrong. We COULD have an out of state cosigner without them being present. So, we waited to hear back and go back to receive the car. We then received word AGAIN that the BOTH financial managers were in the wrong. Though titling and other paperwork would NOT be in that state, they refused to take a cosigner's signature in front of a notary through the mail, because there would still be no way to verify their identification, which confused us, as that is the entire point of HAVING a notary present.Finally, after speaking with Eric about receiving a check from another bank, wheels were once again in motion. Our cosigner would simply hand us the check from a bank where they lived and we'd pay for it in North Carolina with no financing through the dealership. However, after emailing, texting and calling many times to confirm that we had a deal, no one would call us back to speak. After getting someone on the line, we were told that, again, we had been mislead. We could NOT even pay someone with a check from a bank in another state without the cosigner present, despite the fact that we were told it was perfectly fine earlier. A financial manager said that if my cosigner, 500 miles away, could get up and go to the bank down the street, that they could just as easily drive down to North Carolina to sign something: a rude and severely misguided statement.A very confusing, frustrating, and upsetting experience from Westgate. We do not recommend it for people who are in a difficult bind, financially. We left angry and disappointed in the lack of communication and knowledge that their financial managers possessed.

Bought a used vehicle from them and have had nothing but problems. Have taken it in twice and its still not fixed. Would not recommend them at all. Poor customer service. I left a message for the service manager to call me twice and still no response. When I got home after taking it there for the second time, I had dirt and grease all over my steering wheel, floor mats, and door molding.

(June 6th, 2012)I checked out 3 used cars at Westgate recently. Real quick before moving forward, the Saleman Eric was pleasant to work with. Nothing in this write up relates to his character and effort. He is top notch, non aggressive and there to help. The vehicles however............ different story.I test drove three vehicles. The last two vehicles had major issues. The first vehicle I am sure would have had I given it more time to check out the engine, etc.I'll explain:First I checked out a used Commander. (2006, 48k miles, $13k and change asking price). The vehicle itself drove great, but there were some key indicators that suggested this would have been a money pit in operational and future repair costs..... This forecast was evident in the starting price ($13k and change). Most other Commanders of this model year, even with competitive mileage, start out a few thousand higher in price. The lower price starting out is immediately a red flag, but hey, who am I to not check out a deal ;) (Don't tell me you are a rock bottom, haggle free dealership. That just tells me you have a good marketing director. There is always room to deal.....)Next, with this Commander there were some clear performance issues that suggested engine trouble. There are common issues with the 06 Commander drivetrain. Do a google search and your will find a large amount of evidence. The MPG for city driving was as much as 4 under the model year average. The HWY MPG was between 1 and 2 under. Granted, this could be reflective of poor oil, but it can also be an indicator of other issues. I would hate to think that they just want to let something like this slide by and hope they sell it. I would also hate to think that they have a lazy or underachieving service staff.Anyway, not worth the risk for me especially considering Carfax showed that the dealership performed it's last maitenance while THEY were the title holder. That means if it was a garbage oil issue, its on them. This last statement will carry more weight as we move forward.....If I was to make a move on this vehicle, a real deal would have to be presented to me with a tacked on warranty. Next I checked out out a used 07 Sante Fe by Hyundai. Instantly I new this was a joke. Right from the start there was a noticeable engine ping. Either a timing belt, starter (likely the malfunction based on the sound) or a spark plug issue. It sounded similar to a starter trying to ignite with a dead battery (a rapid click*click*click*click*click long pause, click*click*click*click*click). Then while driving I noticed a huge chip in the window with a running crack that started. The run was about an inch in length already. Also, the "oh crap!" handle on the passenger side was half hanging from the ceiling and the seal on the back passenger door was half hanging into the car. Not to mention the interior was gross with stains and marks everywhere. The car itself drove stiff. I took it about a half mile and knew this was nothing that I was interested in. I am very surprised this vehicle passed any in house inspection. This got me to thinking further about the Commander and if there were any hidden issues that might have caused my MPG worries. If the Sante Fe could pass inspection like it was, a problem on the Commander is a definite possibility. To allow such surface level and OBVIOUS malfuntions with this Sante Fe into your used car lot, there is no way they are doing any kind of in depth servicing on their inventory. Not of any respectable nature anyway and I expect they are cutting corners on maitenance / passing the buck onto the consumer.Lastly, for the heck of it, I drove an early 2k model Dodge Caravan. The van was an '03 and only had 44k miles. That in itself is impressive so I had to see it. The vehicle handled GREAT and the engine sounded/looked good. I was pleasantly surprised with its performance. I did however notice a mold/mildew smell, but didn't think much of this..... until I did a walk around on the car. Eric assumed it was "from when they cleaned the carpets and didn't let it air out properly". Sure, ok....but I am not that quick to jump to conclusion.While walking around the car I looked for water marks and sealant errors. I found that the driver's side, top corner of the windshield had it's seal pulled out about three inches in each direction. This was very noticeable. It was very clear that rain water traveled down the inside of the windshield and into the front panel. You could even clearly see condensation that remained under the glass and down the framing. The mold/mildew smell was literally water inside the panel and foot well. Think about it..... the elevated humidity behind plastic paneling is going to set havoc on the wiring inside and behind the steering column. That simple seal has set a ticking metal-oxidizing time bomb (look up "Rust"). Once the wires and connections rust out, there will be trouble with this vehicle. The rusting has started. I don't need to see it to know this. I work with electrical wiring every day (indoor and out)and I promise that the sheaths and connections inside the panel are not weather rated. Even if sealed, sitting water and extreme humidity will set the wheel rolling for rust. Nothing short of rewiring and resealing will fix this.It's a shame too.... an 03 with that few miles could be a great family buy. It was clear that NO attempt to fix the seal on the windshield had ever happened. This was kind of the final straw for me and enforced what I was already feeling about Westgate as a dealership. When they let these obvious malfuntions pass inhouse inspection I have to assume they are either sloppy and lazy, or making a thought out effort to pass the buck onto an unassuming consumer. All three of these vehicles would have been perfect for budget minded families. That worries me for a million reasons.I give Eric the benefit of the doubt. He is a salesman that seems to want to genuinely help. I am not sure he is much of a "car guy" as he seemed completely unaware of any of the issues until I pointed them out. I do not know if its this or "the salesman" in him, but he seemed to have an answer for everything. He did some of the classic pity-party salemsan techniques, but whatever. I guess thats expected. In the end, I still think he has good intent that favors the customer.I decided to stick around and deal on the Commander just for the fun of it. I cut myself and chummed the water to bring in the sharks by offering a trade in and use the dealership as creditor. Quickly John in middle management got involved and got me a little money then claimed to be "all in on this one" (do they learn to use that line in Dealership College? haha! Seriously, that line is pretty lame). Aside from that, his entire demeanor and presentation was poor. He was clearly either having a bad day or just is a jerk. If he weren't involved, my customer service rating and friendliness rating would easily be a 5.Again, Eric was top notch. After a brief period of joyful negotiating, we shook hands and I departed. With all the classic sales techniques used, I am surprised they never called me while driving down the road to offer me another $500 off or something. :) In the end, my experience with the used car department at Westgate was extremely sub par. I chose 3 vehicles at random. All three of them had issues and two of them had obvious problems. The Commander would be a great purchase if you or a trusted mechanic could give the drivetrain a clean bill of health. But given the obvious problems with a the other two vehicles, I am certain the 06 Commander (48,000 miles) has an underlying problem just waiting to be surfaced. The biggest problem I have with the whole thing is that these all would have been perfect vehicles for a budget minded family. Instead, they are money traps with clear potential to leave you stranded or vehicless for an extended amount of time. I would be extremely hesitant buying anything used from Westgate Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge/Ram. They said they do mostly internet sales. I would NEVER consider a vehicle from this dealership sight unseen.============================================================== ********************************UPDATE**************************************(6-9-11)I spoke with Ed Scarborough from Westgate yesterday, via phone. Ed comes across as a good guy and we had a good conversation about inventory processing, etc at Westgate. He was very apologetic, as you would assume. We discussed the situation and moved forward.In recap: 1. For used vehicles, most (all?) servicing and detailing is hired out to a third party. As Ed explained this to me, I took in all in with a grain of salt. It's still Westgate's final say as to whether or not a car is sold. Ed and I discussed this, and he agreed. Whether they hired out the service or not, it's still Westgate's responsibility when concerning a customer. Westgate made a goof. I can understand that. I have dropped the ball more than once in my life, and I am sure all of you reading this have too. My issue was and still is that multiple issues on multiple family vehicles were found at random. ----> Still worth suggesting (when dealing with ANY used vehicles from ANY dealer): Inspect to the best of your ability. Furthermore, makes friends with a trusted mechanic or motorhead that is able to also inspect your potential purchase. If either of you have any concern at all, just give it some serious thought. Never be attached to a vehicle. Do your research, people. 2. I am told at least one of the vehicles mentioned above has had a formal complaint written to the refurbisher that Westgate hires out. This was a result of the above review. If there was a complaint, it happened yesterday.note -------> As of right this minute (8:21 am), roughly 15 hours after our convo, all three vehicles are still listed for sale on the Westgate website. If the complaint was made by Westgate to the refurbisher, which I am not doubting, they are still listed as being for sale. I do hope the issues, especially with the Dodge and Hyundai, are being addressed immediately. 3. Ed was willing to work on the price of things regarding the Commander. LOL, maybe this was the $500 call back that I was expecting in the original entry. That is roughly what the price shift ended up totalling. It's still a no go on my end for the reasons mentioned in my original post. 4. Ed made a fantastic point during the conversation. Used cars are USED. This was stated and is meant to be restated as a simple matter of general fact. Yes, used cars will almost ALWAYS have dings, pings, scratches, bumps, stains, scrapes, etc etc etc. You will find things on a blank slide if you hold it under the microscope long enough. Never expect prefection when buying used, but always hold your decision to certain set standards. 5. There was a lot of small talk regarding many different vehicles. Ed took the time to figure out what I was seeking as a consumer. He took a vested interest in learning about my particular situation. I have a lot of respect for the conversation that we had. In closing:I sincerely hope that anyone reading this does not see my complaints as knitpicking. As a consumer, I have never bought a new car. I never will either. Not a single I've purchased has ever been blemish free. I don't expect a blemish free used car, ever. My particular situation at Westgate of having 2 out of 3 random cars with what I consider to be way beyond the normal expected wear and tear of a typical used car is unusual. But it still happened and it's worth being addressed in a public forum. These issues were beyond cosmetic. The last two cars had potential issues that could compromise the longevity of each respective vehicle. -I stand by my observations of all three vehicles + any DealerRater ratings associated with this. -I am ammending some of the interpersonal observations and ratings: 1. I am changing my rating from a 3 to a 5 after the conversation with Ed. I will still give John the benefit of the doubt even though my initial interaction was poor. Eric was awesome to work with. 2. My overall experience is going from a 1 to 2. The situation was not Great by far, nor was it Good or Ok. 3. Customer service is being moved from Ok to Good. I think that a deal can be found anywhere, not excluding Westgate. Would I recommend Westgate? Based on my particular situation and nothng else.... no. But by all means, my review and experience is not the only one out there. See what other people experience and make an educated decision based on the total sum. For me personally, a vehicle is a vehicle. I try my best to be loyal to good dealerships that have treated me well in the past, but still, a dealership is simply a channel of getting a vehicle from the lot to my driveway. I would work with Westgate on a future purchase, but not without really playing the field of dealerships throughout Central and Eastern NC. I still stand by my Internet Purchase comment. I would never buy / negotiate a vehicle with Westgate sight unseen (nor anyone else for that matter. This is nonsense unless a 100% buyback guarantee was in place.)

After speaking with a salesperson about the car, I drove 2 hrs to see, I found the car to have a different interior color than I was told, and it was not completely cleaned. I wasted a tank of gas & 4 hr drive to be asked "if it was a deal-breaker". Dissapointed to say the least.

Was in a bind b/c I totaled my 2007 Volvo V50 and they are no longer in production by Volvo, so new was out of the question. I got a 2008 Volvo V50 with 42k miles, about 13k less than mine, and it was in excellent condition. Brian Hereghty was very helpful and they worked with me while I awaited my insurance payout. Pleased with all aspects of the purchase. Would highly recommend for used purchase.

I spoke with a sales person on Tuesday about an SUV. Talked with the same sales person on Friday and was going to put a deposit down to hold the SUV until my family could get there to see it on Saturday. I was told that 2 other people where also interested in this SUV so I put a $500 deposit on the Expedition to insure that I would be able to buy the SUV. The sales person told me that they would hold the Expedition that I could consider it mine. I had a certified check in hand to pay for the Expedition I had drove 3 hours and was only 30 minutes from the dealership when the sales person calls me and tells me they just sold my Expedition. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone!!! All they had to say was they made a mistake and they was very sorry. Again, you do not want to deal with this dealership!!!!!

I recently hit a curb and dented the rim and damaged the tire on my Dodge Viper. The tire and rim were covered by an extended warranty (which was not purchased at West Gate). At first the company servicing the warranty did not want to replace the tire and rim. Medhi, Customer Service Rep, went above and beyond to talk with warranty company, explain why they should replace both parts and ultimately convinced them to pay for everything. This saved me ~$1875. Thanks guys. I am now a loyal customer. Outstanding customer service!

My wife and I set up an appointment to purchase a vehicle that was exactly what she was looking for. We showed up 9 minutes late due to traffic, not only was the salesman(John) not prepared; he could not locate the keys to the vehicle. How it's possible that a salesman does not have the keys to the vehicle he made an appointment to show, I do not know. And on top of that the vehicle was no where to be found. My wife and I were not impressed with our experience, nor by the fact that she was completely ignored by the salesman when we showed up. After driving 61 miles to see a vehicle, and not even getting to see the vehicle itself is ridiculous.

I purchased a 2007 Honda civic on December 3, 2011 from this dealer. Not two days later I had to take the car in for an oil change. During that time the Honda dealer that I took the car to did a 21 point inspection, and found the car to be out of alignment. Then today December 8, 2011 I got in the car to go to work; proceeded to drive down the street 1st gear was fine, 2nd fine, but when I put the car in 3rd it kicked out. So I missed work to take my car to the Honda dealer. They take the car out for a drive, come back and tell me that the clutch is bad and that now my car has no 3RD gear. So I call Westgate Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram (the dealer I purchased the car from) and they say well drive the car here and we will take a look at it. The Honda dealer advised me that driving the 200 miles back to Raleigh would do more harm to the transmission. So I call Westgate back and ask them to pay the $2300 to have the car fixed. After a short conversation with the Used car sales manager (cut short by him hanging up on me!) I also find out that the extended warranty that they sold me ($1600) was useless (would not cover parts or labor). I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALER TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We just purchased a new 2012 Grand Cherokee from Westgate Jeep...I wanted to make the car purchase a surprise for my wife because she had over 125,000 on her 6 year old Jeep Commander...she reallyed loved the car but it was time to get a new Jeep...She really loved the Grand Cherokees new body style, but I kept telling her the Liberty was the car we were getting....Everyone at the dealership was wonderful at making her continue to beleive we were getting a Liberty and not the Grand Cherokee which she really wanted. When she got to the Dealership for delivery of her new car and we walked outside they had a huge bow on her car and she was truely surprised. Thanks to everyone there for making it a special event for both of us. The quality of care and service is way beyond what we have received at other Jeep Dealerships in the past.I would recommend Westgate Jeep for anyone looking for a new or used car.

My wife and I went to Westgate to inquire about used Honda Odysseys. We had seen several listed over the past several months and stopped by to see what was on the lot. We found out there was an Odyssey they had just acquired as a trade in and we returned the next day to look at the van (which we purchased). Tommy Graves was a pleasure to work with. I do not normally like the process of buying a car because I generally feel very pressured by the sales reps that I have dealt with at other dealerships in the past. This couldn't be farther from the truth with the individuals we came into contact with at Westgate. Everyone was helpful. There were several things on the van that needed attention (the weather stripping on one back door, an upholstery problem on the passenger chair, a stain on a back seat and a battery that needed to be replaced. Tommy and the Westgate team took care of those problems in a timely manner and to our satisfaction.

I have been very pleased with all the work done by Westgate! My latest visit was for my '97 Grand Cherokee...considering the number of parts they had to order, they had the vehicle ready in a very reasonable amount of time! The service advisor, Mehdi Beiknejad, was very thorough in his explanation of the work required (which matched the list of issues that was presented when the vehicle was dropped off). Mehdi is one of the most polite, friendly service advisors I've ever dealt with! All work was completed to my satisfaction, including repair of the cruise control (an issue which had completely baffled the shop where I used to have work done). Oh, and the wash/wax/vacuum was definitely worth the money! My mother has had her Wrangler at Westgate for work as well, and has been pleased with the quality of work and the alternate transportation on occasions when no acquaintances are available to give her a ride back home. Also, all oil changes that have been performed on our vehicles (I also have an '09 Grand Cherokee) have been done in a timely manner.

Well, unfortunately, after the great blend door debacle ... I had a radiator replaced at this dealership in November 2010. And, I just found out that the radiator needs to be replaced .... AGAIN. So, that is 2 pretty expensive repairs completed at this dealership totalling $1500 ... only to be in need of replacing/repairing the parts again. The service manager, Brian, was quite nice in his appeal to "earn my business". However, I refuse to have my car serviced at a dealership where 2 of the last 2 major repairs are now in need of being completed again. $1000 for Blend doors and $500 for a new radiator. Fool me once, shame on you, Fool me twice ... well, you know the rest. *~ORIGINAL BLEND DOOR REVIEW (which I was open to returning to this dealership for repairs ...but NO MORE) ~* 8/13/2011. I had the blend doors replaced in my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee at this location in 2009 which is a $1000 repair. And not 18 months later (June 2011), the same repair is needed again. I took it back to this dealership and found out that they were under new management. After what could have been an extremely frustrating and more expensive experience, I spoke with the service manager, Brian, who offered to help with as much of the expense as he could. I will be back to this dealership, since they really care about the customer.

Since 1983 I had purchased 8 cars from Leith dealerships. 3 years ago I purchased a used Honda Pilot from Westgate Imports & Justin. Saturday I purchased a used Honda Accord from Westgate at Old Westgate Rd with Brian. Both of my experiences were worthwhile enough to consider myself, no longer a Westgate customer, but a Westgate client!! Everyone was friendly, Brian was great to work with...no drama, no behind the scenes whispering and an excellent car at the most competitive price (and I searched online for 3 weeks) Plus this Honda Accord had some scratches on the front bumper that I considered a deal breaker. His enthusiasm, personality, concern and knowledge of the business of automobiles add up to the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. The car I bought is truly a great find, bringing my wife and me much pleasure and joy. Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!! I purchased 2007 Honda Odyssey on June 7, 2011. We were informed at time of sale that there was still plenty of manufacturers warranty left on vehicle therefore the extended warranty would not be necessary. Within 30 days, brakes started making noise, at 63 days, air conditioning compressor died. My wife took the vehicle into dealership where she was informed that the ac was not covered under the mfg warranty and the cost to repair was $750+. I contacted the dealership and spoke with both the new and used car sales managers who both essentially told me I was S.O.L. I asked to speak to the owner (Ehsan) and was told if I would provide my number and email that he would contact me. It has been over two months and no contact. I filed a BBB complaint which they also sloughed off, and am now working with an attorney to attempt to recoup damages from expenses incurred. Fortunately I have warned off at least 20 friends and family members who had, at one time, looked at vehicles at this location, but purchased elsewhere due to our experience, and continue to do so daily. In addition, I question the "Under New Management" due to the fact that an associate at work purchased a vehicle from westgate a couple of years ago and had mechanical problems within days of their purchase. After going into detail about my conversations with the sales managers, my co-worker informed me that he too had tried to contact the owner who, coincidentally, just happened to be named Ehsan. Run as far as possible from this dealership!!!! At this point I would not even buy a keychain from this business.On Edit 11/15/11Have since worked with Ed Scarborough (Online Sales manager) and was offered a warranty to affect the repairs needed which I did purchase, and also which the dealership upgraded to essentially bumper to bumper coverage (not including wearable parts). I am so far, pleased with Ed's attention to the matter.

We were looking for a new truck but not expecting to purchase one on that day. My husband had spoken with Mr Roy previously regarding the Ram 1500 series and was impressed by his knowledge and friendliness. We met with Mr Roy a few days later, and he showed us a Ram 1500 SLT series. Beautiful truck, but well oustide our price range. Mr Roy immediately noticed my reaction to the price, and told me not to focus on the price because the insentives that were being offered would significantly reduce it (don't all car salesmen say that?) Well, we took it for a test drive and it drove beautifully, had all the bells and whistels one could imagine, and was all in all a perfect fit for what we were looking for. When we returned from the test drive, we asked Mr Roy to set up some pricing packages (including our trade-in) while we went to lunch. He insisted we take the truck to lunch with us to "experience it in real life situations", and to not rush, he would work out all the options we requested and have them ready for us when we returned. He was good to his word. When we returned, there were the 3 options we requested, and to my surprise, the quote met his comment initially....the insentives significantly reduced the price. Needless to say, after being surprised by the friendliness and non-pushiness of the sales staff, the offer price and the truck itself, we purchased the truck that afternoon. I can honestly say it was the only pleasurable car buying experience I have ever had, and I would happily recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great vehicle, friendly, knowledgeable service, and no pushiness. Had a rough beginning with this dealership, but they really turned things around. UPDATE TO ORIGINAL POST: Well, unfortunately, after the great blend door debacle ... I had a radiator replaced at this dealership in November 2010. And, I just found out that the radiator needs to be replaced .... AGAIN. So, that is 2 pretty expensive repairs completed at this dealership totaling $1500 ... only to be in need of replacing/repairing the parts again. The service manager, Brian, was quite nice in his appeal to "earn my business". However, I refuse to have my car serviced at a dealership where 2 of the last 2 major repairs are now in need of being completed again. $1000 for Blend doors and $500 for a new radiator. Fool me once, shame on you, Fool me twice ... well, you know the rest.I had the blend doors replaced in my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee at this location in 2009 which is a $1000 repair. And not 18 months later (June 2011), the same repair is needed again. I took it back to this dealership and found out that they were under new management. After what could have been an extremely frustrating and more expensive experience, I spoke with the service manager, Brian, who offered to help with as much of the expense as he could. I will be back to this dealership, since they really care about the customer.

If I was going to buy another car, this dealership would be the one I'd go back too. My experience was great. Family atmosphere, great deals and willing to work with you. They found me a great interest rate, after the papers were signed they called me back in just to let me know that they had found me an even better interest rate. I was called back for getting my car redetailed. It wasn't done when I first took the delivery of the vehicle. It was still okay the second time around. The idea of buying a used car from a dealer is that it's acutally prepared completely for selling the car that includes everything - tires, brakes, vehicle inspection, and interior and exterior detailing but it wasn't. My overall experience was okay not great - two and half stars.

While at local repair shop waiting for maintenance on my vehicle, I met Tommy Graves, Jr., who recommended I stop by Westgate Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge after hearing about the issues I'd been having with Nissan. He was there for a vehicle inspection and during our initial conversation, I had no idea he was in car sales. I'm so happy I took his advice and made a visit to Westgate that morning. I was able to drive off the lot in a beautiful 2009 Acura TSX. Tommy Jr. and Tommy Sr., in the finance department were highly professional, extremely helpful and there was absolutely no badgering from them or any of the other sales staff. It was a true pleasure working with them and I drove away completely satisfied. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone wanting or need a new or used vehicle. You won't be dissapointed!!

My wife needed a new car. I went to Westgate and Jerry Amin came up to ask if I needed any help. We talked and I told him what we were looking for. He picked out the perfect Dodge Journey a nice SUV and a AWD Jeep. I told him I would come back with my wife.We came by and as the saying goes "If momma ain't happy no body's happy". Momma was happy with the the Dodge Journey and Jerry Armin was nice too. I thought the price was OK. Some sales people are not easy to deal with, Jerry Amin speaks honestly. I don't feel he would lie to you. They work to keep you as a customer. I have had my PT cruiser worked on at Westgate in the past. Parts wearing out and oil changes. They did a fine job and fixed it on time. My wife is pleased with her new vehicle and actually enjoyed her car buying experience at Westgate. Up until going there she had dreaded the usual car buying experience of either a hard sell or having someone who did not seem to care at all. This was not her experience at all at Westgate or with Jerry Amin. We could not have been more satisfied with our service anywhere else.

It is obvious that everyone at this dealership is working hard to ensure that customers have a great experience at the dealership. I had communicated with them via email before going to look at the car, and so when I arrived they were well-prepared. I was extremely please with the way they worked with me to get a car that was what I was looking for. I needed to buy two cars-a used and new one. Nabil helped on a new car while Darryl helped on the used one. We found a nice used car which needed some repairs, and Darryl made sure they were done at no cost to me. Nabil searched the state and found our desired car with just the right features and colors. Tom offered us great extended warranty and financing options. The big difference with Westgate was a "no pressure style" by the sales force. They presented various options and let me decide which one was the best for us. They offered me a low car price, fair trade-in value, low extended warranty price, a good cash allowance plus very low financing in one package. Since I had done my research before going into the purchase, I could not afford to pass up this deal.Nabil and Tom (FINANCING/WARRANTY) were very nice and well-informed. I suggest you research before going to any car dealership, and then you will realize the Westage approach. Yes 2 other dealerships offered a similar car with higher prices, so I know of what I speak.

After weeks of internet research I found the type of car that I was most interested in purchasing - Acura TSX. Most of the cars that I found online with the features that I wanted were a bit too pricey until I expanded my search and found Westgate. They had several Acuras that sparked my interest so I decided to stop by to see the cars in person. After looking on the lot, I was even more compelled to test drive. Inside the dealership Nabil was very helpful in selecting which cars to test. After the drive I was able to decide which car was at the top of my list. This was my first car purchase, so I was hesitant to commit. Nabil was very understanding, personable and knowledgeable which put me at ease. After having a few days to think things over I decided to make the purchase. Nabil was accessible throughout the week for questions and he put me in contact with Tom Graves for financing. Tom was very helpful and took the time to answer all of the questions I had. When I arrived at the dealership to pick up my car everyone was very polite during the time it took to process the paperwork. Garrett handled the financing on that day and I was pleased with his help and his polite demeanor. Overall my experience was very positive and I would recommend Westgate and especially Nabil to anyone.

I live near the beach in NC just above the NC/SC border. I have a host of dealerships around me that I spoke to as well as Westgate in Raleigh. Not one single dealership other than Westgate provided customer service above and beyond what you normally expect from a dealership. My goal was to purchase a new RAM 1500. The absolutely amazing thing was Steve and Joe at Westgate LISTENED TO WHAT "I" WANTED. They did not try to substitute any other truck or attempt to talk me into a truck that was more expensive or anything of the sort. I identified a truck that met my "needs/wants" list via the internet and they worked with me to get the truck at a great price. The thing that struck me positively the most was the fact that the truck did not have the ParkView (rear) camera system. This was a must for me. Steve researched it and even spoke to Chrysler corporate and found out that they could just order one and put in at the dealership.....24 hours later it was on my truck. I drove 3 hours to get my truck and they even picked me up at the car rental place down the street. I have purchased 3 brand new vehicles in my life so far and Westgate was by far the most pleasing buying experience. I love my truck and was happy to hand over my hard earned money for it.

After finding some Certified Pre-Owned Hondas in Cary that seemed a bit pricey, I debated whether it was worth the haul to go to Westgate which appeared to have much better prices for similar vehicles in seemingly better condition. As it turns out, it was worth the drive because I found a late model vehicle with extremely low miles at a reasonable price. Jerry, the sales agent I worked with, was quite patient and accommodating as I deliberated, allowing me test drives on multiple vehicles. I appreciated that he was helping me to make a decision I was comfortable with instead of pressuring me to quickly close the deal. From start to finish, he spent about 4 hours with me.Normally, I would have a used car thoroughly inspected before making a purchase; however, my schedule that day did not permit a pre-purchase inspection and I was looking at a full week before I could come back. I was concerned (perhaps foolishly) that a car with so few miles would disappear before I could get back to the dealership but to their credit, they suggested that I could first buy the car, get the inspection, bring the inspection results back to them, and then they would either fix any problems or buy the car back from me at price sold. Though I hesitated to make such a backwards deal, Jerry assured me that they would keep their word.And in fact, they did! An inspection revealed severe sidewall damage and tread rot on the tires, so they replaced all 4 tires -- plus a torn rear wiper and a burnt-out dome light -- and they topped off the gas tank. The service department had to slip my appointment for the tire replacement, but they provided a loaner car so I wasn't too inconvenienced. Overall, I'm impressed that they kept their word on servicing the car for free even after I had purchased it, as it would have been very easy for them to simply forget all their promises once I signed the papers and drove the car drove off the lot.

Nabil was very friendly and has a very good customer service attitude. When I came back he was with a customer but found someone to take me on my test drive. The pass off was very smooth and I was able to test drive the vehicle and Nabil was there when I returned. Everyone at the dealership was extremely nice and not pushy. Even after the sale Nabil went out of his was to retrieve a couple of items I left on my visor. After some very pushy salespeople, it was extremely nice to work with Nabil. Bill Roy, the finance guy, was also very nice and guided me through the finance piece of the sale. I had a very great experience at Westgate Dodge. I went online and saw what I wanted, got to the dealership and it was a no hassle experience. I took care of my purchase on my lunch break which in my opinion was awesome. My Sales Rep Bill Roy was very friendly and polite. He answered all of my questions and once I got the car made sure that I as satisfied with it. When I picked up the car it was clean and filled with gas! The service was outstanding and I would recommend to all my family and friends.

We searched the internet for a used Volvo C30 within 250 miles, and although there are very few available found the car we wanted at Westgate, which deserves its reputation over the years for carrying and selling excellent used high-end import vehicles. From our first phone call to them until we bought the car, and after, the people we dealt with at Westgate have been thoroughly professional and competent as well as friendly. In particular the salesperson, Jerry Amin, was unfailingly helpful, as was Thomas Graves, who handled the paperwork and provided detailed information about extended warranties.

I never had a good impression on car dealers - high prices, they try to force you into making a purchase etc. These were the thoughts racing through my mind as I entered Westgate Jeep. I also reminded myself that they had an Acura model i was looking out for and that was the reason i was visiting them. My intention was to just check the model they have along with all the other models in the market that are available and then make a decision later on. As I walked into the reception, I bumped into Nabil Bahai, a young and polite sales representative. I told him what i was looking out for and he provided me the details of the cars and offered to take me to the cars to have a visual look at them. Nabil proved invaluable in getting all my questions answered about the cars they had. I narrowed down 3 cars from their lot and I went on test drive on them. I still couldn't make up my mind because they had slight plusses and minuses and Nabil came to the rescue again. He offered advise on things that can be fixed on the cars even after I bought them so that helped me prioritize cars. Also when i narrowed it down to two cars, I had to shuffle test driving both cars repeatedly so as to make up my mind. I was a little nervous if Nabil would allow that but from my standpoint i am paying a hefty amount to buy something and I have to be totally convinced. To my surprise Nabil didn't mind that at all and he totally understood the dilemma I was going through. He just patiently asked me what i thought about it and handed me the keys to the car I wanted to test drive. After factoring in what fixes are fixable and what works best, i finally selected the car. It was then that I realized that Nabil never tried to make a sale the whole time there. All he did was to choose the side of the customer. He completely understands the fact that the customer would want to study the car extensively before buying it. Instead of pushing the customer to buy something, he answered all the customer's questions and made the customer comfortable in making a decision. The sale resulted automatically. This strategy was simply brilliant - something that even people graduating from the best business school miss. I made a point of telling this to my friends. The car selection was the toughest part especially since all the car's were well maintained. After buying the car, the dealer was very efficient in fixing up everything that we agreed on. At this stage too, Nabil came to the rescue in coordinating things and his performance was very impressive!! I also double checked if their cars were in fact expensive and they were in synch with the prices outside. They just were a tiny bit expensive, but i felt that for the kind of service they provided it was worth paying for. I have two complaints with this dealer - firstly they are severely understaffed in the busiest times of the day. It's not that pleasant on a hot summer day. Secondly, this dealer has raised my expectations from dealers and sales representatives to an enormous degree and now I am doubting if anyone else can match it. So if you want to buy a car, just drive up to this dealer and you know who to talk to!!!

Nabil Bahai = Great Customer Service period. We had to turn in our jeep liberty since the lease was at an end. Nabil took time to make us aware of used inventory and setting up many test drives. I was in at Westgate to get my trucks oil changed and to check about a rattle I heard in the front end. My service writer was Paul Roland and technician was Clayton. It was all women sitting in waiting room that day and we were discussing how car dealerships and repair shops takes advantage of women. Well, Mr. Roland called me back and introducted me to Clayton and he put my car up and found where the rattle was coming from. He also thought that it could be from the ball joints but he said he wouldn't do anything to them unless it kept rattling after fixing my underpin (I guess that is what it is called.) He could have replaced all my ball joints and bearing but instead he changed my oil and put a couple of Christmas tree bolts in the panel where they had fallen out. He was just very honest with me and I do appreciate that. I would recommend Westgate Jeep for purchasing a car and also repairs. I actually negotiated free oil changes when I purchased my truck and when they run out I will continue to have my oil changed there. I own a Dodge Dakota and love it. I has been a great truck for me. I actually purchased it to pull my camper but I drive it every day of the week. Debbie

My wife and I have been looking for a new Chrysler Town and Country for 4 months. We live in Scranton PA and our local dealers simply did not have the van we wanted. We also got the runaround from more than a few dealers near us and as far away as Philly. I was searching the net and found Westgate in Raleigh. They had the exact van at an incredible low price. It was a 2010 and believe me, we got a great deal.However, the price is only part of the story. From my first call, the manager (Steve) was up front and gave me a total price... to the penny. I put down a deposit to hold the van and then told Steve my wife and I were going to make an adventure out of this situation and fly down to get our new town and country. Steve immediatly said, "Great, just let us know when you're coming and we'll come get you at the airport." Wow! I never expected that. From that point on, it was by far the most pleasurable buying experience we've ever had. One final note... Our daughter will be going to college in Raleigh next fall. I have NEVER been to ANY dealership that has impressed me as much as Westgate Chrysler Jeep in Raleigh. The moment you enter the door, you are treated the way customers were treated 20 years ago. You are a PERSON, not a NUMBER !! They go out of their way to make sure you are not only comfortable during your stay, but they make sure you UNDERSTAND EXACTLY what is wrong with your vehicle, and what they can do to fix it. You are given regular updates as to what is happening while they service your vehicle and they perform no work without YOUR consent to do so. I drive over 100 miles from the coast because the level of professionalism at Westgate far exceeds any other dealership I have ever been to and I have been driving 32 years. Their parts prices are the lowest from the coast to Greensboro (that's how I found them !)In a day in time that customer service is so RARE in its truest form, I feel blessed to have found such a wonderful place to keep my "wheels rolling" safely underneath me. I CHALLENGE any JEEP owner in eastern North Carolina to check them out first chance you get. The ONE thing you will leave this dealership with is the knowledge that CUSTOMER SERVICE the way it "used" to be can be found tucked away just off 540 in Raleigh.Kristen Sanders

Found this dealer on the internet when looking for a used vehicle in March 2011. Their prices are great, but you get what you pay for. It took over a week from signing the paperwork to actually take possession on the vehicle. There were some problems with the car that we wanted to have fixed before we made the purchase. They were willing to make the repairs, but every day the salesman said we would be able to pick up the car tomorrow, then we would get a call saying it was not yet ready. They blamed the problems on the place that they took the car to when their mechanics could not fix it. My issue is that when you buy a car from a dealer (new or used) that you expect it to be right when it is put on the lot. When we got the car it was dirty. The salesman was trying to clean it up before we got there. He indicated that their cleanup crew does a poor job and he tries to detail the cars that he sells himself. After getting the car, I spent a whole day cleaning the inside myself. I would not sell my personal vehicle as dirty as this car was from this dealership.We got a better price from Westgate than I have seen advertised elsewhere. I am hoping that the quality of the vehicle we purchased is better than the quality of their service. I have bought used cars from dealers before and they have always been clean and in good working order. It did not appear that they did anything more than back the used vehicle off of the truck and park it in their lot.If you are in the market for a late model used car, they have good prices - but, be prepared to go over the vehicle with a fine-tooth comb and be prepared to spend some time cleaning it yourself.
