We have been getting our vehicle serviced at Wickstrom for years, but this was the first time we purchased a vehicle from Wickstrom. We typically dread the process of shopping for a vehicle, but we were very pleasantly surprised with the great experience we had at Wickstrom. Our salesman was Eric Jensen, who was knowledgeable, very low pressure and overall great to work with. Also, the showroom was clean, comfortable and inviting. We will not hesitate to return to Wickstrom the next time we need to purchase a vehicle.

One of the best car buying experiences we have had. My wife and I dealt with Denise Ryman who was professional, courteous and pleasant to deal with from the time I walked on the lot to the delivery of the vehicle. Everything she said would happen did happen in a timely manner The whole process was great, the atmosphere in the showroom was livelyand pleasant , at no time did I feel pressured, but I got a real sense that everyone in the showroom had a job to do and all were working together for the benefit of the customer. After a year of visiting different dealerships for different car makes and models, my son settled on wanting a Jeep Wrangler for his 16th Birthday. We went to a local dealership with a clear intent to purchase (will refrain from naming the dealership) and were treated, in my opinion, like we were wasting their time. Salesperson was unknowledgeable about Jeeps, had to ask "the manager" about certain trivial things, and had to wait at least 20 minutes for "the manager" to help.Knowing I would never purchase anything from them, I started researching other dealers and noticed great reviews on Yelp for Wickstrom. I sent in an email for general information and was impressed with the professional response from Eric Jensen with whom I made an appointment.From my first step into the dealership and after a warm greeting from Eric, I immediately knew Wickstrom was where I would do my business and purchase a new Jeep for my son's 16th Birthday.Eric took time to listen to my needs and jumped right in to navigating the process of ordering a new Jeep with our specifications. As it was close to the end of '16 model production and the start of '17 model production, there were a few extra hoops to jump thru. Needless to say, everything was set in place and the order was in for a new 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.Upon delivery, the vehicle was exactly as expected with all options and additional MOPAR parts installed there at the dealership. I happened to meet Eric's son when I ordered the Jeep as he works at Wickstrom as well, and I could sense genuine excitement from Eric as we planned how to deliver the Jeep to my son on his birthday.My son was over the moon when he saw it...and I think almost shed a tear out of pure happiness...but of course teenage boys don't cry...Eric made the entire process easy, comfortable, and 'at-my-pace.' He was patient with the many questions and information queries I had, and was sure to get the right answer the first time.I would highly recommend Eric and the team at Wickstrom Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.

There are at least a half-dozen Jeep dealers located reasonably close to where we live. In fact, my husband and I visited three of them before we found Wickstrom during a search for a specific Jeep Cherokee Overland. Wickstrom is the place that got our business. While the price we agreed on did not differ dramatically from another dealer that we seriously negotiated with, the overall experience was by far much more positive. Credit goes to Jared Nelson. My wife went in last Monday to buy out her current lease. As it would turn out the dealership was able to set it up for her to lease a brand new Wrangler with no money down.I was so impressed I started asking about my vehicle. I was extremely upside down on my vehicle due to very bad depreciation in a pretty short period of time. Once again the guys came through and managed to get me into a brand new Wrangler (yes we have his and hers now in the driveway). Even better is I was able to lower my monthly payments, get a car under warranty again and keep the same terms as I would have had. I am extremely satisfied with the entire staff that helped us. I would like to personally thank Eric Jensen for working hard to get the exact vehicle I wanted.

Eric Jenson absolutely knew his stuff when it came to the 2016 Jeep Wrangler that I ended up purchasing. I gave them my guidelines and they worked hard to meet them and ultimately got me exactly where I wanted to be. This is my second purchase from Wickstrom and I have absolutely enjoyed both experiences. I also do all my service there (including oil changes). The pricing is fair, the work impeccable and the staff knowledgeable. The service writer Dan Huff is incredibly knowledgeable and wont try to talk you into services you don't need. Dan Beake the mechanic that always does my service is an absolute rock star when it comes to everything that makes your car go. He has been the only person to work on my last 3 Jeeps and I recommend him highly. So to wrap this up Wickstrom is where you should buy your next car!

I had been looking for a pre-owned car for my 16 year old son for awhile. I was having a really hard time finding the "right" car for him in my area. As I widened my search I "stumbled" across the perfect car for him at Wickstrom Chrysler Jeep Dodge. The only problem was that I live 12 hours away!Nonetheless, I called Wickstrom and was connected to Tony D. He was very helpful and he and I worked the deal over the phone. Once an agreement was reached and financing was all done, I made plans to fly from Georgia to Illinois to purchase the car. Wickstrom and Tony D. were so helpful. Tony D. arranged for someone to pick my son and I up from O'hare Airport and bring us to the dealership - talk about 1st Class service!Once I was there we test drove the car (we fell in love with it immediately) and Tony D. was as pleasant in person as he was on the phone. The finance guy came out to greet us upon returning and we completed the paperwork within 20 minutes and my son and I were on our way to Chicago to have lunch before making the trek to Georgia in our new purchase.Buying from Wickstrom had to be one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. It's unfortunate that I live so far away because I would definitely take my car there to get service. As a matter of fact, the next time I am in the market for a new or pre-owed car, I will always check out their website to see what they have available. Buying from them was definitely worth the time, money, and effort it took for me to get up there. Just purchased our vehicle, hands down BEST experience ever. From the beginning, (let me tell you, they had just received this vehicle. So it hadn't been touched, cleaned, nothing. ) but me and my husband were very eager to go look at it at that very MOMENT!! We didn't care if it hadn't even gone through the wash!! Eric made that possible, said "that would be fine to come on down, he'd have it pulled up for us in 20 min!"We got there, (he had it nice and washed!) even though we had told him he didn't have to go through the trouble! Test drove it! My daughter 8yrs old, loved it as did we! Eric offered us waters, gave our daughter some crayons and paper! (She loved that!) We were very well taken care of! Definitely didn't expect all the hospitality! Eric Jensen, our Sales Professional made sure we were 100% satisfied with our purchase. Made sure he explained everything from the size of the tires, mileage, past history, even how to work every touch screen feature in our vehicle! Had a great response for every question, and made the whole process SO easy, fast & convenient. Let's be honest, who REALLY likes car shopping? With the hours of waiting, not much communication, just sitting there waiting for the banks to work their magic. Well, i can NOW say, that Eric made things VERY CONVIENENT! Wickstrom is above and beyond the best place to buy a new car. From the moment I first contacted the dealer via email to the time I drove off the lot they were nothing but helpful, informative, and truly caring that I enjoyed the car I was buying. Toby Holtz was immediately available by email, which was helpful during busy work hours, and he went above and beyond to take pictures, wash the car before arriving, and even stayed late to work through the purchase with me. The facilities was stunning, it did away with the typical dealer feel. Cameras were zoomed in on the clean service areas so you could watch while lounging in the waiting area, or drinking their free soft drinks, the sales area was open to always see what was going on during the sale process, and they don't have the awkward financial office where they try to push you into things you don't need or want. The selection of cars is huge, the location is convenient, and the attention to customers without being pushed into a deal you are uncomfortable with was by far the best part. I will, and already have, told my friends and family of this dealer and Toby, and will most certainly be back in the future.

They are totally honest, don't lie, give you great info, get what you want and not what they need to sell and really care about your needs. It is less about selling and more about caring about what their customer wants. They put their customers first and that is what puts them way above the other dealerships in my eyes. Like I said I am going to go back to them for all my cars and would send any of my family or friends to them.

I have now personally purchased two vehicles (my son being the 3rd) from this dealership and my family couldn't be happier with the everything from the sales team (Denise specifically), to the service, to the friendly greetings when you walk in the door. I have never been to a place where its all smiles everywhere you look. It says a lot about a dealership when you see everyone happy, this is not just the Wickstrom team but the customers as well. I have made several trips in there prior to purchasing a vehicle and I must say Denise greeted me the first time as I was watching t.v. with just a smile and asked if I needed help. Of course at that time I didn't but gave her my number and said I would in about 6 months, normally saying this you get a shrug and a disappointed look. Denise didn't walk away, she stayed there and chatted with me as we talked about family, careers, etc. I instantly knew I would be back. Unexpectedly my vehicle really took a turn for the worst and I found myself at the dealership with the bad news on a Saturday. Denise was patient as the storms were strong and blew everything around. She ran outside several times to pull up different vehicles and we finally figured out the perfect one. Drenched and all she never once looked disappointed with anything. I have to say thank you again as we recently were back for the 2nd purchased and than shortly after my son also purchased there. 3 vehicles in less than 2 years, guess you call us life long Wickstrom customers!

Came in for a test drive for an 08 Wrangler. I liked it but wasn't ready to jump on it without some time to think it over. Came back a few days later and after further inspection I realized it wasn't right for me. However, the 2012 Wrangler next to the one I was inspecting caught my eye. This is an important and a large purchase so its vital that it is done right so I did my research, visited some dealers, and asked contacts for referrals. Wickstrom was referred by a colleague who is a satisfied customer and as luck would have it they had the car I was looking for so I went in and the experience was pleasantly surprising. The NO stress and NO pressure environment made the whole experience enjoyable, I came in and told them that I had already arranged financing, they said no problem, then we went for a test drive and we closed the deal. Tony DiPaulo walked me through the entire process and was key to creating the NO stress environment and the overall very positive purchasing experience. He even gave me a courtesy ride from the dealership.

We recently purchased a Jeep Cherokee from Wickstrom and the entire experience was great. When we first walked in we were greeted right away but did not feel stalked like prey like at other dealers. Michelle listened to everything we said carefully and helped us choose several new and pre-owned cars to look at to narrow our options for style and brand of car. Michelle walked us all over the lot to find the cars we wanted to see. She did offer to bring each one to the front of the building but we didn't mind walking. We went on a test drive where she pointed out each of the features that she thought would attractive to us based on what we originally told her about our car shopping trip. We left for lunch and looked at another dealer but we felt the customer service at Wickstrom kept calling us back. We called on our way back to the dealer to let Michelle know we were on our way to test drive a specific car and despite the fact that she was with another customer she arranged to have the car ready for us to drive when we got there. When we came back we'd made a decision on a car and started the purchasing process. We were given a reasonable quote and trade-in value for our current car. Every employee we came into contact with was friendly, down-to-earth, genuine, and the opposite of every stereotypical car sales-person/ dealer. After a price was settled on there was a slight wait (20-30 min) for everything to be prepared because there were a few people buying cars at the same time we were, therefore it was busy. Once we signed the paperwork it only took about 15 minutes to get the keys to our new car and drive away very happy. It was BY FAR the BEST car buying experience we've ever had!! Also, the facility was modern, comfortable, user-friendly, and CLEAN! I felt like I was welcome and appreciated as a customer. I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership to anyone, especially Michelle!!!

i went to wickstrom to look at a kia sorento.i was greeted by eric jenson,he answered all my questions and we took the car for a ride.we could not come to terms and i left the dealership.after saveral phone conversations with eric i decided to sleep on it.the next day i decided to buy the car but eric had the day off.i was directed to his manager[andy]and he took my information over the phone.about 1.5 hours later i arrived at the dealership and i asked for andy,to my suprise he told me eric came in on his day off to take care of me.the car was washed,prepped and ready to go upon my arrival.i can,t say enough about eric and andy.i highly recomend that anyone interested in bying a car go and see eric.from now on whenever i need a car i will call eric.

I have to say that I find the whole car buying process to be a stressful and tiring task. Fortunately I did not find that to be the case at Wickstrom. We had visited several other chrysler/jeep dealers before. And had purchased another vehicle recently. Eric Jensen at Wickstrom was by far the most pleasant, friendly, no-nonsense salesman we have met. It was definitely worth driving a little further for the great customer service. Eric was very knowledgable and honest, without ever being pushy. We never felt like there were 'deep, dark secrets' that customers shouldn't know about. Other dealers have been elusive about certain things, but at Wickstrom we really felt that Eric Jensen was concerned about us and getting us what we needed. Eugine in the finance depart was also a friendly, no-nonsense person. Never felt pushed to buy any extras, but got all the information we needed to make informed decisions. On Friday Feb 5th, I did an online inquiry about a new 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Jamie Weinberg promptly replied to my email. After explaining my situtation (budget, timing, etc.) we arrived at an acceptable price. When I arrived at the dealership on Saturday, the vehicle was exactly as described online and over the phone--no changes to standard equipment, options, etc. Jamie was very knowledgable about the vehicle. After a test drive, I told him I would take the vehicle at the price we had previously determined. They honored the price. There were games. They make you aware of warranties and optional items but do not pressure you to buy. Eugene Hernandez was helpful with financing and found me a rate better then the one I had found on my own. While signing all the paperwork, the car was throughly cleaned for delivery. Before leaving, Jamie educated me about all the various controls and guages on the vehicle. I was very happy to go a longer distance to buy my new vehicle as this dealerships conducts it's business in a very professional manner.

I recently bought a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee from Wickstom in Barrington, Illinois. I had recently seen this exact truck at another dealership. From the time we entered the facility we were greeted and treated the best. I had inquired about this Jeep through the Internet because of the experience my aunt had through Costco. He then showed us the exact truck that I had wanted, but new. Now being that Jared knew we had done our research he still educated us on the truck. He explained to us every detail the truck had and we learned so much more compared to the other dealership we had gone to. I felt like he took the time to show us what the truck was all about. We learned so much more about this truck, it made me want it more. He was throughly knowledgeable even though he had known we had seen other Jeeps at other dealerships. This is what I really appreciated and I am glad he did his job to such great expectations because if it weren't for him, we would not have known so much about the truck. The transaction was the quickest, easiest ever. Yes, it was and I am not lying. I was surprised and did not expect the transaction to go so smoothly. I walked out with a new car and felt absolutely no remorse. Jared also helped me set all my phone numbers, helped me add addresses to my navigation system, set my seat setting and so much more. I really felt comfortable with my new car and felt comfortable and knowledge about how to work every single button in that truck when I left. If anyone needs a new or used car, Jared Nelson is the guy to go to. Overall this experience was one of the best and I would recommend Jared and Wickstrom in Barrington to everyone I know.

We live near Schaumburg and after reading online reviews and checking out more local Dodge dealerships, we decided to go a little out of our way and check out Wickstrom Dodge in Barrington. We were greeted before ever getting out of the vehicle and Toby Holtz was our salesman who took his time to work with us on identifying what vehicle we were looking for. We were looking for a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT Blackout Edition all Black. We had some specific needs as the vehicle will be used for transporting a person who is disabled with a scooter and Toby was very helpful in finding the right fit and letting us test drive to ensure it was the model we wanted with the features we wanted. Their location didn't have the exact color that we wanted and didn't have a remote start so Toby and his manager arranged to get one from another location to fit our exact needs. A few days later we went back and brought a vehicle in for trade and were dealt with very fairly on the trade with very little haggling about what they would pay and what we would accept. Finalizing the purchase at a price we wanted was also done with very little haggling. We had identified the vehicle we wanted and the price we would agree to within about an hour of being at the dealer on the initial visit. Picking up the vehicle, completing trade in and all paperwork was simple and fairly quick unlike what we've had to go through at other dealerships in the past. They work with you AT THE SALESMANS DESK too. No dragging you into a small cramped room to sweat you out to try to talk you into things you don't want. Finance Manager comes to the desk to go over everything so you sit in one place and they all come to you to get the deal done. Toby was very proactive in getting everything arranged and set up to make our experience a quick and enjoyable process. I never thought I'd say buying a vehicle would be enjoyable but this one was. Also, unlike some dealerships, this one sent us on our way with our brand new 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT Blackout Edition with a full tank of gas. We've purchased in the past from other dealerships that send you on your way with 1/4 tank which is terrible service. Highly recommend Wickstrom Dodge if you're in the market for a Dodge or any of their other lines of vehicles. If he's there, please ask to have Toby Holtz be your salesman. He is great and will work hard for your business.

I just purchases my first car in 14 yrs, a task I typically dread. I usually have to deal with the pushy sales person, the pushy manager and a lot of fast talking. However, this time my experience was the complete opposite. My husband and I worked with Denise Ryman at Wickstrom. She was well educated in the Jeeps, professional, and an overall pleasure to deal with. My husband and I kept going back and forth between two cars, unable to decide. I never felt pressure from Denise at any time in the two days we went back to the dealership. We did visit another dealer in between to see what they could do for us. The salesman swore he could undercut Wickstrom by $500-$700. However, his approach in working with us was everything we hated about car shopping. He lacked detailed knowledge about the car, used the same old tag lines, and spoke mostly to my husband ignoring me. We didn't trust him or care for his approach. So, my husband and I decided that we would rather do business with Denise who clearly had more integrity. Several days later, we drove off the lot in our new car feeling well taken care of. Denise and the whole dealership was a pleasure to work with. I would go back to Wickstrom and more specifically Denise to do business in a heart beat.

Just purchased my second car in four months from Don DiPaulo. Don is great - he doesn't play games, he follows-up, and he is a genuinely nice person to deal with. The two vehicles I purchased were performance models for pleasure use, and Don made the purchases fun.I was also very impressed with the Wickstrom business approach, from the friendly manager who greeted me at the entrance, to the advisors in the service department. It's also a very contemporary dealership. One thing I found very interesting is that they highlight their service area with a glass wall between the showroom and the service area. Also a very comfortable customer waiting area.When I purchased my first vehicle in June, I went to two other Chrysler/Dodge dealers first, and I was blown away at the difference when I went to Wickstrom. I have been taking my 2008 jeep liberty limited to Wickstrom's jeep dealership in Barrington IL, since 2010. This vehicle, purchased new came with a life time power train warranty. I also purchase Chrysler added care lifetime bumper to bumper extended warranty. This dealership has done all the scheduled maintenance and repairs on a regular basis since I started bringing it to them. They have never had a problem letting me know what maintenance was due, especially when I had to pay for it. I have never refused to have service or suggested repairs done by them. Recently my vehicle was brought in for some minor repairs that I thought should have been covered by my extended warranty. They told me nothing was covered. I called Chrysler's warranty division to question why. They informed me that my warranty was voided do to a 5 year power train inspection that was never done. When I question how I was suppose to know about this inspection, they informed me that they should have sent me a notice 2 months prior. I never received a notice. They also told me the dealer should have informed me also. They did not. Why is it that all other services that would be paid out of my pocket were brought to my attention? After confronting the service rep on my problem all they had to say was they had heard of this happening before and apologized. If they had knowledge of this, you would think they would let people know. I have been loyal to this dealership from day one, but I guess loyalty is a one way street. In the end I was told by Chrysler that I signed the contract so its my fault. Seems to me if every car purchased required reading every word printed on all the papers they provide at the time of sales, people would spend a week reviewing them all with their lawyer present and cars would not be sold. We all buy in good faith when making these types of purchase. I guess thats where mistakes get made. Enjoy your experience with them while it lasts.

After dealing with the wrong people and having to walk out, it was a breath of fresh air dealing with this dealership. The interior layout is very different from what I'm used to. The finance area is completely exposed rather than ensconced in another office. The pricing of most if not all services is displayed prominently, etc.Prior to my arrival, Denise took additional time to test out features herself that I had specific questions about during our phone conversation to better ensure that she wouldn't have to waste my time in the showroom with non answers or mistakes. That kind of thoughtfulness and consideration is rare in the car buying industry.Where most salespeople might leave you alone for what can seem like an hour, completely disappear or scurry off to some distant corner to talk to their manager, Denise remained in view / present during my entire visit. In fact, Denise and the Finance guys all met with me in the open at the her desk. I had several great purchase options before me in about a half an hour following my test drive instead of being brought just ONE deal that changes during a long, potentially painful negotiation. Few if any important exchanges happened outside my purview. Denise was very likeable and genuinely interested is ensuring I was a satisfied customer.

This month we arranged for our third vehicle from Wickstrom. Our first was a Focus wagon that we purchased and operated for 12 years. The second is a Ford Escape that we have leased, and the third is a 2014 Chrysler Town and County. Both experiences were absolutely fantastic.My wife and I find buying a car one of the least favorite things we do. We are not negotiators and dont look forward to haggling over prices.Eric Jenson of Wickstrom Chrysler was a perfect fit for us. He is very approachable and a good listener. He has a polite and respectful attitude and demonstrated a willingness to spend as much time as needed to answer our questions. Sales Professional- Michele Cimino Finance Professional - Joe Burley It would be my pleasure to share my thoughts on my first experience at Wickstrom Auto Group. My first experience was a great one and quite refreshing. Normally, you go into a dealership and the sales professional wants to sell you any car on the lot that day that hour. The first chain of events for me was on the phone with Michelle Cimino to set up an initial visit to the dealership to see the vehicles I was interested in and to get more information on the 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. Michelle was not only professional but polite at the initial visit and the Jeep as promised was gassed and out front ready for me to look at and test drive when I arrived on Friday of that week. After my test drive, Michele escorted me back into the dealership to offer me a beverage and to ask me what my needs/wants were as I was shopping for a new vehicle. She said she would do her best to meet those needs/wants based on what I told her. This is really what sold me on the dealership. Michele did not ask right away do you want to buy the Jeep? she said is the right vehicle for you and what were you hoping to get for your trade so we can work from that starting point? I was also introduced to Joe Burley in finance and what a great! guy he was. Joe took the time to come over at my initial visit to say hello and ask me if there were any special features about my Lexus that he should know about so I get a good used car trade price from Wickstrom. He politely came back after a few minutes and gave me what I thought was a very good price. I walked out of the dealership that day and told Michele I would sleep on it and get back to her the next day as this was a big purchase for me. Michele agreed and said if you have any other questions please don't hesitate to call back and yes, think about it. Needless to say, I bought the vehicle from Michele the very next day. Michele and Joe were both there on Saturday to guide me through the process and to see me off in my new Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. If I had to rate my experience on a scale of 1-10 I would give it a BIG (10). From start to finish a pleasant experience at Wickstrom Auto Group. I would highly recommend this dealership and those professionals at Wickstrom in particular. Michele already called me to see how the first 48 hours were going and if I had any questions. Great 5-star expereince. Bought a new Cherokee at a great price and everything was as smooth as could be. I found the dealership on line and worked everything out with Michele via email and the phone. Drove in 4 hours from Iowa and was in and out quickly with no suprises. A very efficient operation. Michele went through the car with me in great detail and the business manager wrapped up the paperwork to include a loan in about 15 minutes. Very pleased with the way everything went and the car.

My wife and I have been in the process of looking for a new car for over 4 months now. We visited Wickstrom late December and where not quite ready. This past Saturday, it was time, and after a couple of bad experiences with other local dealers, we returned to Wickstrom.Renee helped us a few months ago and when we returned, she remembered us, and everything that we were looking for in a new car. The negotiations were professional and I felt as I got the best deal around. I can't thank her enough for putting my wife in the car of her dreams. The entire process was pressure free and easy. I didn't get that Jeep t-shirt in the end, most likely because we didn't finish until after 7PM and the dealership had been long closed. My wife and I left with a smile and the next morning we couldn't believe how awesome the experience was. Renee and and couple of her employees stayed late and surpassed what a normal dealership would have done, they did not rush us and I felt that they were actually happy to be there and help us get a car.Because of all this, I now plan to return to trade in my current vehicle and get into something newer. I feel like I can trust the team with Wickstrom and they will do what needs to be done to not only make me happy, but get me in a car that is a right fit.Kudos Renee, thank you again!

After bugging poor Jamie for over a year, I finally was able to pull the trigger and am I glad I came here. These folks have given me the best car buying experience I've ever had, and being in my 60's that's saying a lot since I'm such a car nut. Not only were they very friendly and knowledgable, I never felt like I was bugging them when I asked all my rather obsessive questions. Finally settled on a new Jeep Overland and what a gorgeous vehicle, not only that, but I got a it for a wonderful price and they gave me exactly what my research said I should for my trade in. I can't say enough about these guys, they really do earn thier high ratings.

I visited 3 dealerships and when I walked into Wickstrom, it was different right away! The facility was clean, bright and up to date (and so were the people)! I dealt with Renee and she was great! Very professional, friendly and down to earth! She made sure all of my needs were met and went above and beyond for me! The vehicle I purchased was a dealer locate so Renee offered to have it delivered to my house and I could sign the final paperwork there! WOW! That was huge as we live about 45 minutes from the dealer! Wickstrom is a family run dealership and they seem to treat their employees right which then passes on to how the employees treat the customers! Keep up the great work!

Currently 1/2 of my personal vehicles were purchased at wickstrom. I went in to see Chris D at wickstrom on the advice of a co worker ( who thought there was no way he could get a new car). Chris was able to find some extra rebates that my co worker qualified for and was able to get the new car. You'll be able to spot Chris as soon as he talks, he has a British accent, definitely not the typical fake gold watch wearing, greased hair, pushy salesman.Anyway, I needed a new work vehicle and had a very underwater Nissan lease to trade... Chris was able to give me more than the Nissan dealer would. He showed me a few vehicles that would suit my needs, We test drove a couple vehicles, I chose one. We met with the finance guy....his name escapes me (and no, I didn't buy an escape). We moved right along, had the deal done quickly. An hour later, we had literally turned a useless Nissan into a transit connect, which makes me money, Chris was literally making me money. Thanks again Chris, I'll be back when I need to replace more vehicles in my fleet.

We went to quite a few dealerships looking at used vehicles (never easy) and finally settled on Wickstrom Dodge. We had so many terrible experiences with the other dealers we were looking at we almost gave up. From salesmen not acting like they needed/wanted our business, to vehicles that didn't start for a test drive, no heat, coolant leaking etc. On many of them that went through "inspections" we found many problems the dealers missed. Finally we found Jared and Wickstrom Dodge. I had not been to Wickstrom in over 20 years since I bought a used car back then. I was very pleased that I had returned.We felt welcomed by Jared and the dealership. Jared was very helpful in answering emails quickly, and also understanding how long it took us to reach a decision. We took the vehicle to our own mechanic to be safe, and he passed the car with flying colors. He couldn't find anything wrong!They took the time, and a few extra dollars to put their used car in great shape to be sold. My wife is really enjoying showing off her new car.! Hope to come to you guys for some service as well! L Ps thanks for the full tank of gas...nice extra touch.

I bought my 200 hardtop convertible thru Nick Wilfinger at Wickstrom Chrysler. BEST experience ever! He is very patient and never hassled me or pressured me into buying a car. Even went out of his way to find the exact color I wanted and bring it in from a dealer in southern IL. I have gone out of my way to bring the car back to Wickstrom for my oil changes too. Other dealerships are not as friendly. Keep up the great work Nick...and Wickstrom!

I have worked with Jamie Weinberg on two deals now - both for Jeep Wranglers and have, in both instances, have had nothing but a pleasurable experience. I have owned 25+ cars in the last 18 years so I've been through the car buying experience enough in my time to know the good, bad, and ugly. Without a doubt, if I were to purchase a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ford, or Lincoln product new, there is nowhere else I would go. Jamie is not the typical 'car salesman'. He is not attempting to get one over on you. He is very straight forward, personable, and kind. I appreciate this a great deal. Typically, when buying a car, I know the market better than the salesman due to my past experiences . I can say, without a doubt in my mind, Wickstrom and Jamie in particular, understand the market, are market competitive, and are not there to get one over on you at all. Unfortunately for me and my wallet, I know the deal with most car dealerships and have nothing but positive experiences with Jamie. I cannot recommend Jamie enough.

Worst car buying experience I've ever had. Initially I got a good feeling from the sales person. In the end he was not as knowledgeable about the products as he should have been. Started looking at the Grand Cherokee Limited. The next day came back and looked at the Overland. When we asked about the demo summit, sales person ignored us and told us it wasn't for sale. When we started negotiating price they also ignored us. The offer to our counter offer was a worse deal than the inital offer. They treated us like we were stupid and had no idea how to buy a car. Told me it was because of my bad credit that they couldn't offer a better deal, my score is better than average. They lost a deal because they wouldn't discount by $1500 dollars. They could have moved a $47k car and had customers for life, if they would have worked with us. It was their mistake, because we went down the road to a different dealership and got a summit V8 for the same price as they were offering me the overland v8. You can sell me on how you don't close hard on people or you are a great dealership and have starbucks, but in the end they tried to screw me and I will not stand for that. On top of it all the finance person putting the deal together was a complete jerk when speaking to me. NEVER EVER GO HERE!

To whom it may concern,My wife and I purchased 2 vehicles from the Wickstrom Auto Group in the past and decided to include you as one of the dealerships we were going to work with in quest of a previously owned vehicle. We were fortunate to work with Dustin Rocha as our Sales consultant. He was very patient with us, due to the constraints that we had set, including purchasing the vehicle contingent upon our mechanics approval after inspection. We went through several vehicles that seemed as though they would work, but for different reasons, they did not make the final cut. Dustin never gave up, and for every one that did not work out, he got closer to what might work for us. Even though it didn't go as quickly as we had anticipated, we liked Dustins professionalism and demeanor, and wanted to continue working with him and give him our business.Finally after a little over a month of shopping, Dustin called me to come in and take a look at a Dodge Grand Caravan that had recently come in. It went well with the test drive, and our mechanic gave it a thumbs up. We are now proud owners and excited to be driving our new van that has everything (and more) that we were looking for.Needless to say, we are very happy and hope to work with Dustin again when we need our next vehicle. My wife and I have been using their service dept for at least 3 -4 years for our 2007 Jeep Liberty that we had purchased from another dealer that had closed it's doors. This was the MAIN reason we decided to go there first to look at purchasing a new Jeep, as the whole service group, experience and waiting area is OUTSTANDING!!!We didn't make an appointment and showed up on Saturday morning. Denise Ryman met us as we opened the door with a real smile, professionalism and inquiry as to how she could help. We've been Wickstrom customers for 11 years and have bought 3 cars from them. We recently ordered a 2014 Jeep Cherokee, and it was a great overall experience. Denise is amazing. She made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend her to any women in the car buying market. I've found that male salesmen tend to discount women car shoppers as ignorant. On two earlier occasions when I was shopping around for cars, I was made to feel as though I was wasting the salesman's time. I've had men talk to me like I didn't know anything about cars other than what color I wanted. I once asked a male salesman how to engage 4WD Low, and he refused to explain it saying, "Oh, you'll never use that." I didn't ask IF I would use it, I asked HOW. Denise is the exact opposite - she was so kind, polite, and helpful. She NEVER made us feel like we were wasting her time. She was never pushy. She reached out to us throughout the process and kept us informed on our order. She seemed genuinely excited about our purchase, and that made the experience that much more enjoyable. I could not recommend Denise highly enough - please go see her if you're in the market for a Chrysler product!!

This was prompted after first discussing with her what we were looking for over the phone. My husband and I were looking for a nice used car on the internet. We saw 2 nice looking vehicles and decided to drive to Barrington to look (about 50 miles). We were extremely happy when we arrived at the dealership and saw that the cars on the lot all looked very appealing. The door was opened for us and we were met by what turned out to be our salesman. We told him which vehicle we wanted to look at, and were told that they would bring the vehicle indoors for us to look over before we took a test drive. It was a very windy day, and this was a very nice surprise. We were shown the waiting area with a coffee and soda bar and comfortable sitting area provided for the customers and asked if we cared for anything while they brought the vehicle into the review area. This took only a few minutes. The review area is extremely clean and well lit, and kept at a very comfortable temperature. We were able to look over both the interior and exterior of the vehicle, never feeling the least bit pressured or hurried. Dustin answered all of our questions very quickly and very pleasantly. We were provided with the dealers inspection report on the vehicle and an explanation of what was done on the vehicle. When we took the vehicle for a test drive and not being familiar with the area, we were taken on a route that let us experience all speeds and road conditions - rough, smooth, city and highway speeds. Discussing the price of the vehicle and doing the paperwork when we decided we wanted the vehicle was also a very smooth process. Everything was explained well by the several peopled involved. To our surprise, we ended up driving our newly purchased vehicle home the same day, with plates, registration and title information completed in our envelope. The dealership and our salesman were all very friendly, courteous, accurate and efficient in their jobs. Coming from Rockford, we had never experienced such wonderful treatment by any dealership. We will refer as many people as we can to Wickstrom after our very pleasant experience. All businesses should treat their customers as well as we were treated by Dustin and others at the dealership. The friendly, clean, and spacious viewing areas should be an example for all, as should the great attitude and team work exhibited by all of the employees we came in contact with. I would recommend this dealership to anyone!

I had one of the better car buying experience dealing with Jared. I call and made the appointment to see a 2004 Nissan Titan and when I arrived, Jared had the truck cleaned, ready and parked inside for me to look at. The dealer paid my asking price on my 2012 Genesis and we closed the deal within an hour. Great experience at Wickstrom. My salesman, Jared, whom I spoke with on the phone prior to visiting the dealership, had the used Grand Cherokee I called about prepped and ready when I arrived. I had been searching for weeks for the right used Grand Cherokee and this one looked to be in great condition; confirmed by test drive, and their detailing team had done a tremendous job as well. The process couldn't have been easier. They had a written purchase offer for me based on the price discussed over the phone, and appraised my old truck for trade-in in short order. I got a great price for the Jeep, a reasonable trade-in offer, and the entire experience was as good as I have ever had at a dealership. 5 star ratings for Jared my salesman, the purchasing/trade-in process, the extremely nice/clean/plush customer waiting area, and Richard Wickstrom who greeted me when I initially showed up at Wickstrom Ford instead of next door at Wickstrom Jeep and called Jared to tell him I was there. This was my first Jeep purchase and without doubt I will head back to Wickstrom in Barrington as a part of my next vehicle search.

Here is the email that I sent to the Wickstrom's General Sales Manager Andy McCormick, I wanted to take this opportunity to bring to your attention the exceptional treatment we received on our recent car purchase. On Saturday we stopped in with no intention of buying a car, just wanted to see the new Jeep Grand Cherokee. We were warmly greeted by Woody Woodworth who educated us on the new line up, had us test drive the Overland and then look at a Summit that he had pulled around. In addition, I had my car appraised for potential trade-in. Overall great first impression of Wickstrom Jeep despite organized chaos in prep for the evening's event. The new dealership was beautiful inside. My Salesman toured me around the entire dealership explaining all of the services they had available. It was raining when I came in to see the car I had viewed online. The car was brought into a covered garage to view and go over all of the features of the car. The transaction was all completed at my salesman's desk. There was no going from office to office like the old days. The financing rate they were able to offer was very competitive to the bank offer. I would definitely go back to see eric for my next vehicle.

Wickstrom Chrysler was by far the best car Dealership I have been to thanks to CJ Breitengross. I contacted Wickstrom Chrysler and was connected with salesman CJ. I explained to CJ that I had already visited several other dealerships and was disappointed with the service and cars that I saw. CJ assured me that I would be very satisfied shopping at Wickstrom and that the other car dealerships could not compete with them. I arrived at Wickstrom and was met by CJ who took me for a tour. He got to know me and which car I would be interested in. Since I had already had a Chrysler 2004 town & country I wanted to stay with this model. The first time I went there, i was very pleased by the way they treated me They didn't pressure me into buying any specific vehicle or come runing up to me once I entered the show room (which most dearlships do from my experiance). I did alot of research on the type of vehicle I wanted before I went there. I decided to go there because it's near my house. i picked the first salesman I saw who was Joe Burley. I told him what I was looking for. So he took me outside and showed me several models and let me choose which one I wanted. He then sat down with me to work out a deal that I could afford. I had a long time to shop for my car and went to nearly every dealership in about a 20 mile radius. I looked at every brand and when I found a model I liked, I shopped multiple dealerships. Wickstrom was the gold standard and nobody else came close. Great inventory, beautiful dealership, small perks like complimentary beverages, and very relaxed and real service. They have zero "smarm factor" and are sensitive to customer time. Clearly the tone comes from the top - these people are well trained, across the board, to provide great service. Our salesman, Jared Nelson, was fantastic. Though 7 months had passed since we had last looked at the car, when I returned prepared to buy, Jared greeted both my son and I at the door, by name. He remembered why we were looking for a car, what we wanted, all that we had previously discussed - without looking it up on his computer. That was pretty darned impressive.It just got better. Though I still didn't know if I could afford the car, I asked for a bottom line and got one - within MINUTES! I couldn't believe it. Normally, in my past experience, getting the actual price required that I make myself comfortable, bring a book - get settled for hours of irritation, alternated with mysterious periods of lengthy waiting. That in my memory, I couldn't believe that Jared came back within moments and presented a professional written quote, showing all of the available terms in one simple document. It very clearly spelled out the bottom line price, tax, title, license, interest and options for monthly payments - no room for misunderstanding or manipulation. Jared laughed when I pulled out the dog-eared hand-scratched "estimate" given to me by a competitor up the road in response to my same request for a "bottom line".We agreed on the price, and like clockwork we closed on the sale. While I completed the few very streamlined purchase documents, Jared had the car detailed and filled with gas. By the time I left, in well under an hour from the time I asked for the pricing, the electronics were programmed - phone in sync with the hands free, clock set, garage door opener button programmed, and so on. All of my questions were fully and competently answered. I'm really enjoying my new car and telling everyone about this great experience.Even more telling of their service is that I changed my mind and wished to cancel an add-on service I had purchased a couple days after the sale. It was handled graciously, with two acceptable options offered to me to remove the unwanted service from my purchase contract. I think it is very telling how customers are treated when a sale is done and the car delivered, and they got another A from me for managing this with consideration, even though the error had been mine.

I Purchased my Jeep Compass in February 2013 and have had no issues with it at all. It handles great in the snow and rain. C J and Chris were very nice and encouraging and did not rush me with my experience or purchase whatsoever. I was deciding between the Compass and Patriot and was able to test drive both to help in my decision. This is the second purchase we have made with your company, my husband bought a Lincoln MKZ back in 2009. However, as much as I love the car, the company does need to offer a bigger engine than the 2.4 /4 cylinder that it offers. I purchased a 2013 Dodge Dart from Tim Calleja at Wickstrom and i want to share my amazing customer service experience. I have had my Dart for a few months with no problems at all. A couple weeks ago, i was on a road trip up to Green Bay and was about 200 miles from home. While i was driving on the highway, my check engine light came on along with a message to get my transmission serviced. I took my vehicle to a local dealership in Green Bay to get serviced since i was in the area. The dealership there said that they would have to keep the vehicle for a while in order to figure out what was wrong and replace what was necessary - granted everything was covered under warranty so i was not too concerned. I was able to get a rental car to get back home while the dealership there worked on my car. The major problem that i experienced was a little while after i got home, the Green Bay dealership called me to let me know my vehicle was ready for pick up. I explained to them that i was 200 miles away and did not have any way of picking up the vehicle. They refused to work with me regarding this and the only solution they offered was for me to have it towed back at my expense of $650. I said absolutely not and then contacted Wickstrom to see if they could help out with this situation since i purchase the vehicle from them. I spoke with Tim and he immediately offered to help out in any way he could. To my surprise, he offered to drive up to Green Bay and get bring my vehicle back for me. This was a perfect solution to my problem and is an example of him and the dealership going above and beyond for customer service. It was unfortunate that a new vehicle had to be serviced in this manner, but Tim and Wickstrom handled the situation very well and were quick to fix the issue.

Worst experience I've had with a vehicle purchase. Was lied to about the overall coverage of warranty and the vehicle has been in the shop for repairs six times in four months. Doesn't pass smog testing due to faulty parts on vehicle that were present at time of purchase but are not covered under "all encompassing warranty" that was purchased with vehicle. Very unsatisfied with the overall purchase and will do everything I can to help other people from going through this dealer and their lies

I am not one to normally post a review however because the experience was so amazing I felt the need to do so. I have bought alot of cars in my time but never have I ever had this great of an experience. From the moment I walked in I was blown away by the professionalism from my sales person Jared. He never made me feel like he was trying to sell me something. I felt like I was at a car show getting to see several different vehicles and getting all of my questions answered. The best part of the experience was that when I found a vehicle I liked I was presented a more than fair price right from the start and didnt have to do the back and forth game that most dealerships play. I gathered several e-mail quotes from local Jeep dealers in the process of leasing a 2014 Grand Cherokee. There was no pressure to buy what was in their showroom or lot, and they very easily identified the location of the car that would match what we wanted. They allowed us to test drive variations of the model we wanted and also test different accessories on different models so that we could arrive at the best match of accessories that would satisfy our needs.Negotiations culminated in a price that we were very satisfied with and that fell in the range of best deals published in some websites.The overall experience was very gratifying with a thorough review of the condition of the car at delivery and detailed explanation of all the different features and electronics. Kudos to Eric.Wickstroms new showroom, service and waiting areas, and the amenities they offer are superb. We have had a wonderful experience with Wickstrom. Tim Calleja helped us find the PERFECT car. He was very patient to listen to all my questions and hesitations. I had to look at specs over and over again to compare and recompare. Andy McCormick was the manager and was also extremely patient and easy to negotiate with. Steve Garrison took care of the finance area and he explained everything very well so we understood and didn't walk out scratching our heads. I bought the car on a Monday. It had to come from another dealership, service had to install some upgrades, and I was scheduled to pick it up Saturday morning. I drive by the lot to and from work every day. On Wednesday night, I saw it on the lot and it looked done (the only orange Wrangler on the lot with shiny chrome). I called Thursday morning and asked if that was my car and if it was done already. WOW, that was fast!!!! I was excited and did not want to wait for Saturday. It was Tims day off and he had a family thing to be at that night but he worked with my schedule so I could pick it up that day. Tim is extremely accessible and taught me the ins/outs of the entire car before I left the lot. As a buyer it is hard to remember everything so naturally I had more questions. Tim continues to be available even after I bought the car to answer my questions either email or phone. He set up an appointment with the service department so that they could teach us how to remove the hardtop and soft top.After I bought my jeep, I was told that two directors at my work also have jeeps (one of them had just bought his wrangler). We have said that the first section in the parking lot is for jeeps only!!!!

I called in to Wickstrom and got Joe on the phone. It didn't take more than a couple minutes to know that I could trust Joe. I thought for sure I was going to be dealing with some pushy sales person and I got the exact opposite. We had a couple phone calls discussing the Acura TL that I was interested in. I asked Joe to take it for a spin and let me know what he thought. He called back and mentioned a couple minor flaws and he was completely honest. The flaws weren't a big deal to me so I asked him to get the paperwork together and that I'd be at the dealership a couple hours later. As long as Joe is selling cars, I will only buy from him.

His knowledge of the product really helped me reinforce why I'm so excited to be a new 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee owner. The dealership was so clean and very nice even their management was very pleasant to work with when completing my financing paperwork. Joe Burley is an excellent salesman who is easy to talk to and work with I felt very comfortable buying my jeep from him and Wickstrom in Barrington! I LOVE my new jeep and will be a long time Wickstrom client. I plan on referring all my friends and family to Joe when they are in the market for a new or used vehicle!!!

By far the most pleasant car buying experience I've had. Jamie was great and was as hands on as we needed him to be. This was a very low pressure dealership. The dealership itself was very open and inviting. They had a great computer and TV area to keep kids occupied. You could really tell everyone there was jazzed and proud about the newness and freshness of the building. That excitement came out in the buying process. Why is the highest rating only GREAT?? Our experience with the fine people at Wickstrom was OUTSTANDING! Now mind you, we had just come from a dreadful experience at Sherman Dodge/Jeep on Skokies North Shore, where the staff and service were deplorable!!! We had almost lost all faith in the industry. We explained our experience to Jamie at Wickstom and he could not have been more understanding or kinder, if he were our own flesh and blood. Within an hour, he had seen our paperwork and sticker sheet from the "other dealer" and found our car and we purchased it without the "dog and pony show" of going to talk to his manager etc........he understood what we wanted, he asked and listened to what we could afford and he and Adam made it happen. I have posted this positive experince on Facebook and told all of my family and friends. Thank You Jamie and Wickstrom for making a stressful and otherwise nerve wracking experience as pleasant as you did. We will not go anywhere else for our cars in the future. Thank You!

The Ford service dept is excellent. Mike Murphy has taken great care of me over the years and I now service all of my personal and work vehicles with them, even our Chevy. Mike's ability to go well above expectations and the fact that he treats me like I have a fleet of 50 vehicles to service sealed the deal for me. I mostly appeciate the fact that I get that small town feel when I pull up and Mike knows me by name. I am now a lifelong customer even though another Ford dealer is more convenient all because of the great customer service by Mike and the other service staff.

We just bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from Jared and the entire experience was GREAT!! I contacted him several weeks ago and, over the phone, he quickly helped me narrow down my choices of trim levels to the one that best met my needs. We had several email exchanges over the past few weeks, aqll of which were helpful and to the point, with no pressure. I scheduled my test drive this morning and he had carved out the appropriate amount of time to explain all of the car's features to me before we hit the road. When we got down to the pricing discussion, it was low key and very fair - no haggling. Jeep had a good financing rate, but the team at Wickstrom offered to shop the rate and see if they could do better - which they did. They were able to beat Jeep's "special rate" by a full 1%; even better, when they wrote up the paperwork, the rate was even LOWER by an additional .15%. Very positive experience with smart professional people which focused on my needs and did not oversell. Very fair purchase negotiation in a friendly environment. I would definetly recommend Wickstrom (and Jared) for anyone looking to buy a new Jeep!Ralph S.

This is our sixth new car from Wickstrom, and the sixth from Chris Moose. Chris has sold us two Explorers, two Expeditions, an Escape Hybrid, and now a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Extreme Rubicon, for a total of about $175,000 in vehicles.As in the past, Chris was responsive, honest, fair and knowledgeable. He was direct, professional, and respectful of my time as a busy business owner something I greatly appreciate. He spent the time to ensure he had a clear understanding of my needs and desires for a new vehicle, and then made precise, accurate and insightful recommendations.Chris worked to research and offer a fair price for a slightly unusual trade in, and worked equally diligently to ensure a fair overall transaction price for the new vehicle. He never insulted my intelligence by pretending Wickstrom are doing anything other than running a business, albeit a customer focused business but a venture that involves profit. In his quest to ensure I got exactly the vehicle I wanted and needed, he went as far as repeatedly questioning whether I really, really wanted the 2 lift kit I thought I wanted and he was right the vehicle was perfect just as it was. A less scrupulous dealer might have just slapped the lift kit on and sent me on my way, $2,500 lighter, but on the road to being less happy with my purchase. For this Chris has my great respect and gratitude.Chris and his team made sure I was conversant with the operation of the vehicle (not a quick task with a Jeep) and has checked in with me several times to ensure all is well with our new Jeep.In closing, I could not be happier with the vehicle, and my dealings with Chris. He is a consummate professional, and I strongly recommend him for an unmatched dealer experience.

I run an airport transportation company and need my repairs done rite the first time (can't afford down time)and these guys never fail me, and Arron Grassel makes sure this happens! For instance today, just as my spring break airport rides begin, I have 2 cars go down. Both cars were in and out in the same day. I also purchased several vehicles also from them and have had no problems with the cars

No doubt the best service experiance ever. I brought my Wrangler in for a strange noise in the front end. Barb had my car in the shop being looked at in less than 5 minutes. She came up to me in the waiting room a fews minutes later and informed me that they found the problem and it was covered under my warranty. I was pleasantly surprise as I was expecting some huge bill for the repairs. It was going to take a few hours to repair so she offered me a ride home or a rental car. I took the car so I could get some things done. I was able to get my car repaired and knock a few things off my to do list at the same time. I will be back for my next services.

I have never had better service for my vehicles than at Wickstrom. Service Director, Brian Cook, simply meets and exceeds my expectations each time I visit. Started working with these guys 5 years ago after a competitor failed to fix a problem and still overcharged me! Won't go anywhere else

Incredible lounge, before I knew it the service on my vehicle was done... as i enjoyed my free starbucks while i checked my email on the PC in the lounge. I own a Lexus but service at Wickstrom because they are quick, the place is spotless and a fair price. My wife drives a Ford and my daughter a Jeep both purchased from Wickstrom and we service all of our vehicles here........... Highly recommend GEO...

We first visited Wickstrom to view a Wrangler. My daughter thought this was the car she wanted but we had concerns about getting the roof on/off, etc. Joe was very candid with us re: the issue and pointed us in the direction of the Jeep Liberty with the skyslider. That is the vehicle we ended up buying and my daughter absolutely loves the car. It was the right decision for us. The skyslider is awesome and gives us the feel of an open air vehicle but without the hassle of taking the top on/off not to mention the storage issue we would have had with the hard tops of the Wrangler. We couldn't be happier with our choice and I thank Joe for showing us an alternative to the Wrangler. Without his help, we may have gone to another brand!

My experience with the Wickstrom Auto Group has been completely pleasant. I do not enjoy dealing with maintaining my cars and like to get it taken care of as quickly as possible. When I bring my cars to Wickstrom the staff is incredibly professional. They access and inform me of my options and they get my auto work done quickly. Their billing is clear and easy to understand and I really don't see myself ever using another car dealer for my service and purchasing needs.
