I took my truck in for a recall notice. Everything went fine and I was impressed with the number of people working in the service department. A few days later I realized that someone from the service department stole something from my glove compartment. Took it out of a case, closed the case and put the case back. I am certain this happened at the dealership. I reported the theft, and was told the service manager would review camera footage and call me back. The week has gone by and I never got a call. So in my opinion, they do not care that they have at least one THIEF IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT.How would you like to have your property stolen from your car?

I and my wife was attracted by the new 2016 Toyota Prius and we will pretty firm to get a reasonable price and purchase one. The Latino salesperson was ever trying to 'jack' up the sticker price after the show around. When I told him that we are no longer interested and he marched off with our given details and just run our credit without our consent. He refused to return our given personal details despite asking for it several times. Eventually we requested the assistance of the Alhambra police department. Behaving like crooks will not get you a new sale. If you and that Asian sales manager is reading this; I suggest both of you to man up and stop bullying potential customers. We are never going to get ANY cars from this dealership. EVER

*** UPDATE.. at 8:15 am the call me as Im waiting in the showroom... " I'm sorry... we dont have your part " *** arrived at 6:45 am with an appointmwnt for a part repair that tgey had to order from yesterdays 6:45 am arrival. I have an appointment for today at 7 am. Di Wu told me I will need to leave my car most of the day and get a rental. I stated " I have an appointment for 7 am, why would replacing one small part take all day ? " He stated " we may get busy and this could take awhile ". My response was " why should it take most of the day if I have a 7 am appointment ?". I have been here several time ( I live very close ). I have found Wondries Toyota makes appointments for money paying payrons to show up....not the business to make their patrons a priority to respect their time ! Horrible, disrespectful and insulting !

One of the things I do not like is when people lie and are dishonest, especially for the benefit of themselves only. In this case, this is what happened. This is my first time buying a car, and ending up buying a used car. However after driving it for 2 days, the front bumper side bracket broke. When I took it to another toyota to have it looked at, They said the bumper bracket was previously broken, meaning that they told me the car was "fully inspected" and sold me a car with defects. The next step was even worse, having to deal with them to get them to replace the WHOLE bumper because the bracket was part of the bumper was an experience like no other. Not only did I have to be late for work several days, but also was lied about when the car would be ready 2 times, until they finally gave me a loaner (they gave it to me on the second day my car was in the shop, didn't even offer or give me a loaner car in the beginning).Long story short, stay away from Wondries Toyota, Even if you have a friend that can get you a discount there, it isn't worth it!

Toyota Wondries in Alhambra has the BEST service!!! Todd and the rest of his staff are ALWAYS cordial, considerate, friendly, and prompt!!! They give my family and I 5-star service every time we bring in our cars. They don't hesitate to answer any minor questions when I have dropped by without an appointment. It's great to know that we can bring our car to them with TRUST knowing that we will be taken care of.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!! They are dishonest and you will be wasting your time with these people. They will NOT offer you the best price and in fact they lie about the incentives you are entitled to receive. I recently visited Wondries Toyota and was approached by a salesperson named Nicholas, very young guy that doesn't seem very confident in what he's doing. We looked at a particular vehicle that we wanted to test drive and instead of getting the keys for that vehicle, he said, "Well I have the keys for this other vehicle, they're all the same so let's take this one for a test drive." We told him that if we were interested in purchasing the vehicle, we wanted to test drive that particular vehicle to make sure it handles well and everything is working properly." He seemed bothered by the fact that he had to go retrieve the keys. He did get the keys and we went for a test drive. During the test drive I asked him about certain features that the vehicle had and he did not know the answer to my questions. He would just say, "I don't know but I'll find out." When we returned to the sales lot, I asked if he could give us a price quote and stated that we were in a hurry. He said, "No problem, I can give it to you within 5 minutes" and took us into a room. He then stared at a computer screen for literally 10 minutes and within that time wrote the sticker price on a piece of paper and then asked for my driver's license. I asked why he needed my driver's license to give us a price quote and he loudly stated, "If you don't want to give me your license then I'll only offer you the sticker price!" To which I replied, "Then you just completely wasted our time and you are being very rude." He apologized and said he would call the Internet Sales Manager to give us a better price and when that guy came in, it didn't get any better. He was condescending and VERY pushy and rude. When I told him that all we wanted was a price quote for the vehicle, he said, "Well it all depends on how much money you will put as down payment and we don't know what the interest will be." What he didn't know was that I already had done my research online and knew what a fair price would be for that vehicle and that Toyota was offering 0% APR on ALL new vehicles. When I told him this, he rudely said, "Well I didn't know about that incentive, where did you find that info.?" I let him know that it was clearly stated on the Toyota.com website and he proceeded to look for it and found it. I thought to myself and told him, you are the manager here and you don't know about that? He got defensive and said, "well I've been busy around here and I don't always have time to check those things out!" Isn't that their job?? Anyhow, I let him know that we would not be purchasing the vehicle there...since by now they had just wasted 35 minutes of our time and before we were let out of that room, he tried to make me sign a long document which he never explained what it was. He set the document on the table, handed me a pen and said, "ok, just sign here." I was completely upset by this, I DID NOT SIGN the unknown document and walked out of there and NEVER looked back. This is a horrible place with horrible people. They have no customer service skills and all they want to do is take advantage of any potential customer that walks into their place. Please BE AWARE of this!!

this is the most mickey mouse dealership there is. it's more of an amusement park than a business. they take you for a ride and then try to bend you over. drove out there b/c they said the had the car... NOPE! the reason? "i didnt see your email". you are the "internet sales manager" and you dont check your email?next time, save me a 35 mile drive and be upfront with me.. wait a sec, there will be no next time. no wonder i never see a wondries toyota license plate frame.. b/c people are smart not to purchase there.

Took my Daughter's 2006 Prius in for 90,000 Mile service. Service was great, seemed a little expensive, but now that I'm retired, so does everything else these days. Car is running great. Was having Battery trouble, but they determined that it just needed a good charge, and has been working well ever since. Also Tire Pressure light was flashing on, but just needed to adjust pressure to meet standards. why do I need to login and use a password? I already have too many things I need to remember. My brain is at maximum capacity. This should be simpler

Jonathan, the drive manager is awful, providing unacceptable customer service. Basically this guy Alex told me one story with no charge, but Jon told me another with fully charge. Totally wasted my time to go to this dealership. Alex, on the other hand, is a "good" actor. His attitude changes 180 degree. Never go back to them.

November 10, 2009Wondries Toyota/ScionMr.Preston HanGeneral Sales ManagerDear Mr.Han, In response to your request for feedback of my recent visit to Wondries Toyota. During my visit of your sedan and truck division, I had the worst experience possible. I encountered the most dishonest people in my life and I had the worse experience that I wouldnt wish it upon my worst enemy. In the Sedan division, when I came to perches the car that was chosen a day before, I was told that the car is not available and that I have to chose another car which would cost me $700.00 more. Of course I would be paying $700.00 extra because they are giving me a better car. What they didnt know was that I had already checked the yard and I knew the car was there. They where just trying to steel $700.00 from me. The other evidence that the car was available is that after I refused to perches the car, I received a call from the agent stating that the car I chose initially is ready to be picked up. What a joke? In this case the supervisor who was called Jaime was playing all these games. The JR sales person was great. The experience in the truck division was much worse than the sedan division. I felt as if I was about to be pistol-whipped any minute and my money was going to be taken away from me. First they tried to sell me a car that was twice more expensive then the one that I was interested in. Then they tried to fool me in calculating the tax. Although I was participating in the Clunker Program and the tax should only apply to price of the money minus clunker, they where calculating the tax based on price of the car without reduction of clunker price. After I caught them on each step, they said that I could have the car within two days because it was not available. After I persuade the car for two days I was told in the rudest possible way that the car is not ready. Presently I am consulting with a lawyer and writing a letter to the DMV and trying to interview the customers who participated in the clunker program and where cheated on your tax calculations by your company. So I can start a class action suit agents your company. Sincerely,Ferhat HanaciGlass on Glass Doors and Windows65 W Del Mar BlvdPasadena, CA, 91105(626) 578-9222If they have done this to you please call us.

It was a Sunday morning when my girlfriend and I along with her brother decided to visit our local car dealers. We had our minds set on something small, Honda Fit, Yaris or something of that nature. When we arrived at Wondries, we were approached by a Sales rep, standard procedure. He greated us, yap yap yap... After testing two cars, the Yaris and the Corolla, we had our eyes set on the Scion XD. For those of you who haven't been there, the Scions are on the West end of their dealership. The two cars that we tested were on the East end. We were specifically told to head back to the East end because that is where he will meet us with the Scion. The sales rep left for the office to get the keys for the Scion, which is only a 2 min. walk away from where we were. 10 mins passed before we started walking back to the east. As we approach the office, our sales rep rushed out of the office where he was supposedly getting the key and started yelling at us, literally. He thought he had told us to stay at the West end, but instead he saw us heading away from where he wanted us to be. All three of us heard "East end." So he began giving us crap about how he disliked doing business with young people and such. He walked away and told us to find another sales rep. This all happened so fast and we were just shunned. Need I say more?

In addition to not properly identifying himself in a voicemail message (I mean really, how am I supposed to know who you are?), this joker Nash Jiminez calls me about a price quote on a Yaris. I'm not sure about his grasp on the English, but when I told him I could get the car for at least $500 less than his quote and he had stated he couldn't beat it, he then asked me to come in for a visit. What?! What kind of logic is that? Don't let dealerships sucker you- this one sounds like one of those places. Try Penske, Frontier or Marina Del Rey Toyota. I've gotten some good quotes and friendly answers at those places (not to mention I bought my '06 from Penske)

Since my maintenance from the beginning, they have dropped the ball on all the easy details. Aside from maintenance, they have on all occasions incorrectly or failed to update my phone number result in me having to check on their progress each time. On the major service occasions, they were suppose to wash the car as well, but only washed half of it. The final time, they didn't wash it at all even though it was included in the $400.00 major maintenance which is clearly stated in the brochure. I left a message with the customer relations manager and yet to receive an apology or anything. Go figure.

When my trade-in value ($15,000) was given to me by Paul, I told him that I expected more and that I would come back and purchase the Yaris when I sold my car myself. He became hostile in tone and told me "DON'T COME BACK THEN" if your not happy. I have purchased a Nissan from Wondries about 1 1/2 years ago and paid cash. I had no complaints then, but my experiance today was BAD.

This dealership sucks big time! they don't disclose in a previous purchase that they altered the car and that the manufacturer's informed us they didn't know notingh of such alteratios. They made us to buy 7 years extra warrany, because they know the vehicle is not manufactured sealed anymore. Don't go to this dealership at all!!! Please shop at other Toyota and make sure you don't give your business. Even their Corporation name appears to be suspended from the California Secretary of State department of Corporations, this will tell you how bad they are.

What more can you ask for? How about some SERVICE?! This place is one of the worst toyota dealerships I've ever visited. I tell them something is wrong and they tell me, "thats normal". You tell that to little girls who dont know jack about cars. Why would you lie to a guy who knows more about his toyota then any of your idiotic techs (besides the master tech)? A warranty is useless in wondries toyota because when you have a warranty, every creaking and ticking noise that you hear from your car is "normal". What more can you ask for? How about techs who knows how to drive a 6 spd transmission? Or atlease have the sense to look the the shift-knob after stalling 4 times because he couldn't find reverse. After I confronted this situation to the service manager, guess what he said? "Its okay, your car has a special clutch that can handle the stress". Hmmm...I wonder what kind of "special" clutch my 2001 Celica gt-s has??? NONE! It has the same type of clutch found in any sub-$100k car in the market. My clutch was toast from the idiot putting the car in 6th gear and revving the crap out of it. WORST TOYOTA DEALER IN S. CALIFORNIA!!!!!!
