Terrible experience at Woodall Automall. Bought a 2013 Cadillac SRX that had to be inspected in NC..didn't pass inspection due to bad tires (that I questioned at purchase, was assured no problems!) and had to spend $ 900.00 on new tires 2 weeks after purchase with no concern from management at Woodall (at this was a $ 28,000 car purchase!!), then had horrible sound...took it to a local Cadillac dealership, SRX already had bad struts, now needs new chassis mount and engine mounts..after 3 weeks of having this SUV...have not even made 1st payment yet...again no concern from Woodall....would NOT, NEVER recommend this dealer to anyone...you would think you have some peace of mind when buying from a dealer! BE AWARE and take car to have it completely checked out by independent mechanic, before you sign! There is no follow up or concern by management, all I got was "Not our problem or concern at this point!" SIDE NOTE: as I am writing this, I have NO!!! car, as mine has been at a local Cadillac dealership to get fixed already!!(I do have to add the James Akers, sales person, was extremely nice and followed up, as he was concerned, but could not help with any issues after purchase)

I purchased a used vehicle from Robert Woodall Chevrolet July 1, 2016. This vehicle was supposed to be a GMC Certified vehicle with a clean CarFax report. As I looked at the vehicle, I noted a couple of items that needed to be addressed and most of them were relatively minor, No problem. I received a picture that was taken of me standing beside the vehicle that is used to post to Facebook showing how happy of a customer I am. I received this picture right after I left the lot at 8:50 PM. I drive home which is about an hour away and my wife looks at the vehicle, she puts a DVD in to test the entertainment system and the DVD player doesn't work. I send a text to the salesperson less than 2 hours after leaving the lot to notify them about the issue. I get a response stating he would "let his managers know". I never received a reply so I figured this wasn't an issue and since I had other items that needed to be corrected that this would not be an issue. On July 7th I noticed that a crack in the paint had appeared. This is a crack in the paint, not a scratch. I notified them of the issue and I said "let me know when you want me to come in to get these items fixed." I asked "can they get that paint work done in one day". I received a response "Yes the paint is here on Mondays." I drop off the vehicle on Sunday night July 10th and I let the salesman know that I made a list to include the "additional items that need to be looked at" with a response of "Ok sounds good." I didn't hear anything all day Monday and I have to call them Tuesday morning to follow up. I was told at 5:00 Tuesday afternoon that "We got a lot of work done today got more to do tomorrow." Wednesday afternoon I receive a notification saying "you're right that DVDs don't work" and they want me to call the sales manager about the crack in the paint. I told them to look at the picture they took the night that I purchased the vehicle and there is no crack in the paint which can be proven by the picture. They refuse to fix the paint and stated they will "only repair what they agreed to before you left." BUYER BEWARE.....CHECK ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING OUT BEFORE LEAVING THE LOT NO MATTER HOW LATE IT IS...YOUR TRUST IN A DEALER TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT WILL COST YOU...NOT THEM!!!!!

Anyone who puts great in the price section must have lots of money. I admit the prices are two high and was looking for a used GM truck and the used prices were also high so I hope I made a good choice. I also want to add that since this is a 3/4 ton truck diesel I know the milage is not noted and discover that diesel milage on this truck is not what I expected, I expected more, the DEF fluid that has to be filled every 5000 miles and the burn off of fule in the exhaust are two things I wish would have been brought up as it may have changed my mind. That said I like my truck will drive it and see. I know when or if I decide to trade I will go back to WoodallHenry Moon

I worked with Sam on the phone Before I took the 393 mile trip Down to Danville. I had first spoke to Mona Hooker and she was such a dram to work with! I asked her about the 2010 HHR SS if it was still available and if that Internet price was correct. She assured me it was and asked when I wold like to come see the HHR. I told her I was in New Jersey and it would take some planning but I would call back as soon as Possible! When I called back she hooked me up with Sam Brown and we went over some numbers, like my trade, cash down, warranty and payment options. When I wasn't satisfied with their numbers and told them why, they worked on it and called me back and the final numbers they came up with I was completely satisfied with. So my wife and I went down to Danville and truly enjoyed every moment that we were there. I dropped my wife off at the Marriott and went to the Woodall dealership. From the moment I got there until the time I left I was treated with the utmost respect and friendship. Sam, Reggie and Lewis and the Girls all get and A+++++ from me. It was truly a large dose of GOOD OLE SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY!!! I wold recommend Woodall to all my friends and relations!! Sam made sure I knew everything that there was to be known a bout my HHR SS. they next day when I brought it back because the new temporary tags were flapping in the wind and I didn't think that they would make it back to Jersey, Sam fixed it and washed my car because something had gotten on it while I was driving over there. The tank was even filled. THE BEST experience I have ever had buying a car and I have bought 6 in the last nine months! Truly a Friendly Dealership! Woodall puts the Friend (me) in friendly!!!

We began looking for a vehicle a week ago doing research looking for cars that met our needs for a family and commuter. We found the HHR listed on line for 12883, made an on line offer for 9,000 with a trade in. Called and spoke to a female rep and she referred us to Sam. Since that time, Sam was very patient and very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He was even nice enough to bring an umbrella to keep the pouring rain off of us. Sam was very determined to not only make the sale but make sure we were happy with our financing. I have to say that we have never dealt with a salesman that was going the extra mile during a sales season where we are just another number. We think Sam did a great job and will consider doing business with him ago in the future.

I started looking for a vehicle and went to Woodall where the salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful. I told him that I was not ready to buy and wanted to look around. He understood and at no time did I feel pressured to buy. After looking at other dealerships and salesmen trying to get me to by that day I went back to Woodall and talked to Jeff Hale who showed me several new vehicle which I test drove. Also Woodall had a good selection to choose from. We sat down and negotiated a price which was fair to both parties. Jeff and all the staff I dealt with were very friendly and I had a good customer experience at Woodall Chevrolet. At no time did I feel pressured to buy and thats why I dealt with Woodall. Joe was looking for a small truck. When we drove in to Woodall's, Daniel Epps met us at the car which we appreciated because it was getting late and we are elderly. He told us they did not have one on hand but would call us if one comes in. In just a few days he did just that. We bought the 2004 Ford Ranger and so far have been satisfied with it. I do not remember the bookkeeper's name but he was couteous and took care of everything.

We were delighted with the reception and information given to us when we worked with Jeff Hale! He was enthusiastic but respectful. We never felt pressured or pushed at any point in the conversation. I was concerned about whether the Equinox was too long to fit in the garage where our Nissan had been parked. Jeff helped us park the Equinox on the lot right beside our Nissan so that we could see that both were the same length. Once we made the decision to buy the car Jeff worked with us so that the entire process moved along smoothly and amicably. All the employees of Woodall worked with us very well. We will have to trade in our Toyota in a couple of years and we will probably return to Jeff for that occasion!

Woodall's has won my business for many years to come!! I was shopping for a vehicle after driving a VW Beetle for 250,000 miles that I had purchased used 8 years earlier and was desperate for a vehicle. Let me add, I am a "horrible picky" customer!! My local dealer was not interested in what I wanted. I live 45 minutes away from Woodall's and I had an idea of what I wanted but still had questions regarding my future vehicle. I am so glad I did not let the distance keep me from contacting Woodall's. The entire staff was ABSOLUTELY incredible! Jeff Hale was my salesperson and never hesitated in answering my questions or my concerns. He is the best! I have not purchased a new vehicle since 1996 so I had a lot of questions regarding warranties, maintenance cost, etc! He was patient, professional and very thorough. Most of all, due to my work hours in NC I was not able to visit but late in the evening near closing time. The entire staff was VERY patient and I never felt rushed! That was February 24, 2010, I have since placed 31,000 miles on my 2009 Nissan Cube Krom Edition (we call him "Bob"):)I have ALL my service performed with them! I visit on a monthly basis. Also, the service center team are absolutely amazing!!! Zach, the service manager realizes that I work very odd long hours and have a long drive but he always manages to work me in at the last minute when I have a day off and I feel like my business is greatly appreciated. When I am having my vehicle serviced, Jeff and the entire staff will go out of their way to speak. I feel like I have spent my money where it is greatly appreciated and that is very important to me. I feel like a valued customer by the extraordinary customer service I continue to receive and was NOT forgotten once I drove off the lot!

Upon entering the area of cars we did not ask for help but we were approached with a friendly smile and greeting.We were asked if he could help us and he proceeded to show us vehicles. Mr. Averett asked about our price range and helped us to look at various vehicles. We were given the opportunity to try out the vehicle we chose and we were givena good deal on the price. Mr. Averett was not pushy nor did he display anger when we said no a couple of times. He asked how he could be of helpand asked the sales manager to help with getting the lowest price available.

Everytime i have taken my vehicle to be serviced, it's a guessing game. They want to do all this other stuff to try to patch the problems instead of repairing the problems. My experiences were while my vehicle was under warranty and I had it down there several times for the same problem. I even took the service dept. manager out to my vehicle to show him the problem personally. The problem was a squeeking noise coming from the back of my truck. I located the problem and showed it to them. His solution was to poor used motor oil over it. On a new truck? I don't think so! I asked the man if the oil was used, was this something that was going to return after my warranty ran out, he didn't answer my question which i also thought was rude. Ends up they replaced the leaf springs and bushings in the rear after i had my vehicle down there 3 times. I have also heard some of the service dept. people using vulgar language about customers coming in and out of the dealership. How professional is that? They pressure you to give them good ratings instead of not saying anything about what you think of them, but in return knowing that when you leave they have done you a good honest service. But instead, when you are a "regular" at the dealership, they cuss you behind your back when you're leaving and call you names. It is by all means poor customer service. If i ever had to pay money for servicing my vehicle, woodall chevrolet would be the last place i would take it...........Thanks.
