I was recommended by a friend to just visit Youmans dealership. Upon my arrival a representative greeted me (Dexter Whitby) as I stepped out of my parents vehicle. I knew then that this would be the place I needed to shop for the car I was looking for. The service was excellent, the amount of time in selecting a car, test driving, and the paper work was excellent. I was able to make it to the labor day cookout in the car that I purchased. I would recommend this dealership to all my friends and those that are not my friends! just because of the excellent service that I received.

I had the good fortune to have salesman, Steve O'Reilly, at Youman's buying my new 2016 Equinox. I had been to three different dealers before visiting Youman's! The other dealers wanted me to sign that I would buy the Equinox, if they found it! The service rep in the service department was curt and impatient with me. When calling to tell me the estimate on the first call he neglected to mention at least half of the repairs that my car would need resulting in a misquote. When I decided to take my business elsewhere then he wants to suddenly inform me of the rest of the repairs and how much more costly the over all repair price would become. The manner in which he let me know of the additional diagnostic fee was as if to throw a rock as I wanted to leave. I paid the fee just to leave. I plan to never visit that store even though I own a Chevrolet I probably will not buy another Chevrolet or GM due to the GM warranty loop hole that my covered item would not be repaired. The one star is for the salesman who was the only person to actually be nice to me.

I change my oil about every 6 weeks due to the amount of miles I drive daily to work. I have yet to have an experience to brag about. I have been doing this about 6 months to a year now. There is always an issue when I leave my car. I'm informed that my car will be ready at a certain time and it's not ready at that time. I have to call to verify if my car is ready or not; sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't. My car is a very important part of me doing my job and I need it back when it's supposed to be ready b/c I plan my day around the time I'm 'supposed' to get my car back. I expect better customer service for the amount of oil changes I get. And furthermore, an incentive would nice for the amount of oil changes I get as well...maybe a free oil change (or at least half off an oil change) or a free tire rotation. It would be greatly appreciated.

We recently purchased a vehicle from Johney Hewett. He was very helpful and agreed to meet with us late in the evening. Although the dealership was closing around the time we were there, we never felt rushed by any staff member. Every member of the team that helped us that day was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. To give credit where credit is due, Mike Sumner and the gentleman that handled the financing were both incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Even after the deal was done, Johney took time out of yet another day to show me how some of the features work and to help set up OnStar. While there, Tasia Manuel also assisted in showing me how to operate the hands-free texting. We seemed to have caught Tasia on her way out to lunch, but she did not seem bothered one bit in helping before she left. This dealership is a rare gem in that it offers both quality customer service and great deals. I plan to return to Youmans in the future and I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy.

Went to dealer at night to looking for a 2016 regular cab/ 6.5 bed/white. they had it. Called the next day, set up 2:00 meeting With Mr. Johnny Hewett March 22. Right on time a little early switch was great. Drove truck, checked it out, this was it. Started process, was preapproved by bank they beet the bank rate which was already low because of my super high CR. Bought my first vehicle from Youman's , straight back from Vietnam,72 chevelle SS 454, 1974 Vega GT in late 74, 1984 step side 4x4 loaded with 4 spd. new. Was personal friend's with sales staff and service for many year's working with them as a Fleet Service Supv with GA.POWER CO. A lot of the names I have forgotten now, except Mr. Toll Clark, he sold me my first 2 vehicle's and one like new used one. These are good people and professional in every way. Ps they cut the price of my truck a lot. Give them a try you be glad you did.

I have been looking for a vehicle for a couple of weeks.. I HATE SHOPPING, I contacted Youman's and Dexter Whitby through a referral from a very good friend that I trust. Being a business owner I recognize and give GREAT customer service. Dexter immediately offered to pick me up to purchase my car. While riding, I shared what I was looking for, (he actually drove the car I was looking at online), when we got to the Dealership, ( I had my puppy with me).. he showed the vehicle. I am 68 years old, used to be a parts man for Ford, and have worked with many service departments. The quality and professionalism of the staff at Yeoman's, particularly Brian and Mark, are as good as it gets. This is the most competent group of men I have ever dealt with. My car is a 1975 Corvette and not the easiest car to work on or get parts for - not a problem for these guys. I will continue to take my cars to Brian and Mark and recommend them to my friends. The car was in the shop all day and I finally had to call around 3:30pm to see if they had figured any thing out. I spoke with Edwin who was the service rep assigned to our Equinox. Edwin informed me that he was unsure what the issue was and would call me back in 5min after checking with the techs. When he called me back, he explained that it was leaking oil at the timing chain cover but wasn't sure if it was also consuming oil. That they wanted us to take the vehicle home, drive it for 500 miles (while it still currently has a known oil leak) and bring it back to them for further investigation. I explained that it was pointless to preform an oil change and that I wouldn't pay for it when the oil was just going to leak out anyway. I then asked to speak with their service manager. Edwin put Brian (service mgr) on the phone and I explained my concern with the situation. Brian then began talking over me, yelling at me and told me that they would not charge us for the oil change but he wanted us to pick up the vehicle and never come back. I then asked to speak with his mgr and he said he would have him call me and hung up on me. I called three other Chevy dealers in my area and asked if this was normal and they all said absolutely not, that they should have fixed the leak! I then called GM customer service and they opened a complaint file and said that the dealership (Youmans) should have further investigated the oil leak, fixed it, then changed the oil and returned the vehicle to us for a consumption test. Worst service department I have ever experienced. Would not recommend them to my worst enemy...no one deserves this type of treatment!

My husband and I recently purchased a new vehicle from Youmans Chevrolet and this has been the best experience from start to finish. Kenneth Deal was our salesperson and he has exceeded my expectations. Everyone was very friendly and the process was organized. My first impression of Mr. James was a great one, from the start! While I was looking at a particular vehicle that I was interested in purchasing, he had literally pulled out all the stocks, in making sure that I would have no negative equity on my trade-in. I have always had the very best service with YOUMANS in my past dealings with them. This was no exception when buying another new car. Everyone I dealt with was superb. Bought my 2nd Silverado from Youmans just recently and could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. Ryan Simms, who sold me both trucks, made the process of buying a new vehicle pain free. Larry, in finance, obtained a great finance rate for me and the process was completed in a very short period of time. December 30, 2011To whom it may concern:I am writing to inform you of the outstanding customer service my family and I received from Youmans Chevrolet (Macon, Ga).While taking our 3 young children on a family vacation to Blue Ridge, GA the day after Christmas, our Pontiac Montana van experienced mechanical issues. As you can imagine, the drive up from Tampa, Florida, had been stressful knowing the car was malfunctioning and finding a dealership that was open AND had a service center that was open was near impossible. We googled all of the GM dealers on our route and were elated to find that Youmans Chevrolet was not only open and servicing cars, they could help us right away.Dewayne Owens, service consultant, greeted us with such warmth and understanding; we knew we were in good hands.After diagnosing the problem, it was determined that the van would need a new alternator. Unfortunately, part was not in stock and since it was December 26, we were having a difficult time locating it elsewhere. To further complicate the situation, due to the holiday, local car rental companies were also closed. Just when we thought we may be stuck, the generous people at Youmans Chevrolet loaned us a car, a beautiful Chevy Impala, and got us back on the road.We left our van in Macon, in the more than capable hands at Youmans Chevrolet and were able to enjoy our vacation. While we were away, the van was fixed, washed and waiting for us 3 days later.We were so very grateful for their service and kindness and wanted to make sure you knew what an outstanding dealership they are.Sincerely,

I bought a 2007 Chevy Aveo LS Sedan from them on May 23, 2011. During the sale i was told the car had been given an inspection when it was traded in to the dealer and this was one of the sale points of the car. I bought the car and two days later my Check Engine light comes on, i took the car to the dealer and asked them to check it out and fix it being the car was only 2 days old. They told me it would cost one-hundred dollars JUST TO LOOK AT IT, plus parts and labor. I decided to take it to my local Firestone, before i get there i started spewing radiator fluid all over the road and was unable to take it anywhere. I called the Manager on staff and he had the car towed back to the service center at the dealer and replaced the heater hose, as well as telling me that the rest of the car would receive an inspection. I went to pick the car up the next day to only find out after I'm on my way back to Warner Robins that the check engine light was blinking again. I had the car coded at my local auto zone and the cause of the check engine light was a Cylinder Misfire condition. I Immediately called the dealer once again and asked about the inspection on the car and asked for a copy of it, my sales rep Johnny told me that they where not required to do an inspection on the car because it had 100K+ miles on it and that all the repairs i needed to have done to the car would have to come out of my own pocket since none of them where covered by the warranty that i paid an extra 1250 dollars for. I refused to take it back to the dealer and took it back to my local firestone and still ended up putting 1153.00 more dollars in repairs into the car. I had to have the roaters replaced, fuel injector system cleaned and flushed, a Coil pack replaced, new spark plugs and wires, a brake adjustment, a new Serpentine belt, a new Alternator drive belt as well as a general tune up on the car. All of this in under a WEEK from when i bought the car from the dealership. I will never buy from these people again and i strongly urge others to do the same.-Anthony Nelson

Our sales associate knows the details on ALL Chevrolets. If we had a question, Chris new the answer. He did not just state "facts" he had information to back up the answer. This makes you feel relaxed about the coming deal.
