Bad experience... If you want the excitement of buying a new car to be destroyed then you come to the right place. Just bad experience overall. They don't stick to what they say or offer. After finalizing the rate and loan then suddenly next day they changed the price (apparently with no reason) that's a best way to mess with the clients and these guys are the best of Madison or may be in Wisconsin in that aspect. They need better communication among their employees and stick to what they say. Hope they learn from their mistakes.

ZIMBRICK HONDA GAVE US A GREAT DEAL ON A USED CERTIFIED HONDA CIVIC. JASON HEPPERLY SHOWED US SOME USED HONDAS ON A HOT 90 DEGREE DAY. WHEN WE CAME INTO THE NEW ZIMBRICK HONDA BUILDING HE IMMEDIATLY SAID CAN I HELP YOU AND DROVE US TO THE USED HONDA SECTION. WE BOUGHT A USED CERTIFIED HONDA THAT DAY AND PICKED IT UP THE NEXT WEEK. We had a trade in car that was 15 years old and we got a good trade in. Jason Hepperly had the car all ready when we pick it up.

Mistakes made by DEALER took WEEKS to fix. Management had a "we won't make it right" attitude even though it wouln't have been difficult or expensive for them. I will NEVER use Zimbrick again.

I bought my first Honda in 1976 for $500. It did have only 2 wheels and a 250cc 2 stroke engine but it was the beginning of a now almost 40 year experience of well researched, bought and owned Honda vehicles. 4 wheeled Honda ownership began in 1984 with a purchase of the first of 4 Accords at Zimbrick Honda. Over the course of the last 30 years I have had only one negative experience with either the Sales or Service departments at Zimbrick Honda. I have considered and shopped other Dealers when purchasing the new Accords and most recently a new 2015 Civic EX-L. In most cases Zimbrick met or beat any Honda competitor Dealer for the new car deals. I do have to admit I think the addition of another Honda Dealer in Madison, (Wilde) has raised the bar for leveraging a deal on a Honda that wasn't necessarily available 5, 10 years ago. In the last 4 years I have also worked with Zimbrick Honda on 4 different 3 year leases for my 2 daughters. That's 9 different vehicles if anyone is keeping count over the last approx. 30 years. In addition to purchasing 5 vehicles and leasing another 4 at Zimbrick Honda I have also been essentially exclusive in servicing all these vehicles at Zimbrick Honda on Fish Hatchery Drive. The Honda Civics that I leased for my daughters have been serviced in Tulsa at the local Honda dealer because of the either one or both daughters living there. If they were back visiting here in Madison they would schedule their service at Zimbrick Honda. The 4 Accords had all their service performed at Zimbrick Honda Fish Hatchery. Over the years of service I would periodically check what some of the local, non-dealer shops like Jenks or Waynes would charge for a wheel bearing replace or something similar and found that their parts/labor were comparable to what Zimbrick Honda was charging. This surprised me because I thought I would be paying more at a dealer shop which is not necessarily the case depending on the service performed. For me, a few dollars more for peace of mind of a Honda trained and competent mechanic is worth it. Getting a free cab ride one way or a loner car are also great benefits of servicing at Zimbrick Honda. If the last two paragraphs arent proof of my overwhelming satisfaction with Zimbrick Honda let me simply say that I fully endorse Zimbrick Honda as the Dealer of choice in southern Wisconsin for Sales and Service. On the Sales side it has been a pleasure to work with both Bill LaBerge and Chad Schaal. They were very professional, helpful, receptive, accommodating and respectful during our dealings. Their behavior, attitude and ability to seal the deal certainly warrant my loyalty. Bill is retired now but I highly recommend Chad if you are interested in a new car or lease. On the Service side it has equally been a pleasure over the past 30 years to work with Chuck Howarth, Bob Hanson, Mike Werner and recently Tom Strahota. They have been very patient when I have asked specific, detailed questions regarding the servicing of the cars, willing to take the time to explain and answer the questions, provide the old parts off my car if I wanted to inspect them, and discuss future servicing needs. They are very helpful, knowledgably, honest, respectful and professional staff that are easy to work with. Keep up the excellent work Z Honda. I feel like I am getting the best car on the market for my buck by driving a Honda and likewise, the best Sales and Service by working with you guys it has been my pleasure.

I recently had to have my 2007 Honday Odyssey EX-L serviced to have the timing belt, water pump, automatic belt tensioner, and serpintine belts replaced. This is routine maintainance. I had recently been working with Todd Corbin at Zimbrick Honda on Fish Hatchary Road. I had emailed him to find out what the cost of this repair would be. I was thinking this would cost between $500.00 to 800.00 dollars. Todd emailed me back and quoted me $1500.00 for this repair. WHOA!!!! He stated that this was typical for my Odyssey. I was in shock. How could I afford this?? I love my Honda Odyssey, but not that much! I went over to Wilde East Towne Honda and spoke with Tony Hernandez and Steve Gonzagowski. They both were able to do the service for me for $881.93! That is a savings of over $618.00!!! Based on this, I feel that Zimbrick has just lost my business and trust. It seems like they are overcharging and are not willing to work with the customer to try to save them money. Just because Zimbrick has been in the area the longest, does not mean they are the best. These reviews prove it.

My wife whent to this dealership 3 day ago for an oil change. They told to my wife that everything was good on the car they circle tires, suspension brakes where great. However, before the oil change I check the vehicle and the sway bar links where broken the tires where 4/30 seconds and how they know that the brakes where good when they did not rotate the tires?? To chek them also they say the fluids where good and it needs brake fluid power steering and the air filter is very duty. The quick lube techs took them over an hour to do an oil change. I hope the manager of this place keep on eye of his workers to make sure they do THEY'RE JOB. I hope this review is helpful to other costumers!!!!

I recently purchased my first brand new vehicle at Zimbrick Honda. I can't compliment them enough on everything they did for me to make this a smooth and least difficult process as possible. I had some special and difficult circumstances that had to go along with this process and John Marks and Randy Swingen made me feel at ease with these circumstances and continued to assure me that they could help me. Needless to say, they did! This was truly a rewarding experience for me and I am thankful to these two men for helping me accomplish a goal I've been wanting to achieve for a long time. I will be recommending Zimbrick Honda, John Marks and Randy Swingen to everyone I know looking for a vehicle!

This is a fantastic dealership. All the staff whom I worked with were very professional and efficient. My trade was valued higher than other dealers in the area and the new car was priced below the recommended purchase price from Edmunds.com. I have purchased many new cars and this was at the top of the best experiences. Thank you Chad Schaal and the other team members at Zimbrick Honda. I will be back to purchase again in the future.

I just leased my third vehicle from Zimbrick and have been a customer for 9 years. Have always had great experiences. When I recently turned in my second leased Accord, I called the business office to get an estimate on financing the leased car to purchase. I was assured I'd get a call back. Two weeks went by, no call. Another call made and voicemail left. No callback. Finally after talking to the general manager, I got a call back with apologies which was fine. I then decided to lease a new Accord. Everything went fine with the paperwork, delivery of the vehicle, except the lease financing paperwork back to me telling me my new account number, when to pay, etc never came. I called the finance person. No callback. I've left two messages. No response. I've contacted my salesman who said he would talk to the finance person and have her call me. No response. I called Honda Financial Services. they have no record of my lease and said I have to call the dealership. I've now had to resort to contacting the general manager for a second time. Totally unacceptable.

I leased a Honda from this dealership in 2011 and at the time I was very pleased with the deal I got and even though I had a sales person by pass working with me because I was only 18, in the end, I got a great car and my sales person was great! Really showed that he cared about me and the car that I would be driving. However, now that I am turning in my lease, I have been on the phone more times than not and haven't received a straight up answer as to what to do and how it all needs to be done. I have been transferred and left voicemails and not gotten my phone calls returned, and each time a dead end is reached I get told "I'm so sorry for the inconvenience but my hands are tied and there isn't anything more that I can do." Really aggravating to hear when you don't live close to the dealership, you're least maturity date is approaching, and you are a full time student. I am less than impressed by the quality of customer service that I have received over the past month from Honda and it has made me doubt this entire experience.

I had an excellent experience buying a new car from Zimbrick Honda. The staff were all low key--there was zero pressure to buy. The price offered (via internet) was fair, as was their offer on my trade-in. The entire process was efficient and pleasant. I definitely would recommend Zimbrick to friends who are car shopping.

From start to finish, my experience leasing my new Honda Pilot was great. Chad went out of his way to accommodate my schedule and I never felt pressured to complete the sale. Additionally, Chad and the sales manager were upfront about the terms and conditions and gave me time to go home and do my own research. In addition to Honda producing great cars, it has been the great customer service I've received from Zimbrick Honda (from sales to service), that has brought me back 4 times.

Be Very Cautious Buying your Vehicle From Zimbrick. We bought our used RAV4 from Zimbrick in April. The sales associate, Paul, was a great guy and a great sales man, and I would recommend him to anyone. But every car has to go through the finance guy, and this is where the sale went downhill. Dont buy a car from Anthony Saunders, Zimbricks finance guy, he lied to us on many occasions and didnt fix anything he said he was going to. We negotiated a price of $19,000 which was a good price on our vehicle, and then we found out when looking at the paperwork later that he charged us $19,600. Both my wife and I know we agreed on 19,000. We agreed to the deal with the condition that he include the interior and exterior coating which helps prevent rust and wear. He agreed to that condition but told us hed write it in the contract. Then when I looked at the contract he not only showed it, but charged the entire $600. In short we ended up signing a contract to pay $600 more than we agreed to. I couldnt believe it! I have been in sales my whole life and have never been treated/ cheated this way. I called Anthony Saunders over six times and left three messages. He never returned any of my calls. Then when I finally got a hold of him on two separate occasions, he said he was going to talk with his higher up and see what he could do and promised to call me back on both occasions. I have never written a negative review before and it pains me to do so, because Paul Walczyk was a great sales guy. Anthony does not follow through, acted without integrity, lied to our faces, and still has not resolved the issues.Brendan

The remodel & expansion of Zimbrick Honda are fantastic and much appreciated. Customer comfort was always good, but now it is tremendous. Thanks for investing the money to make the much-needed improvements. I am also glad to see that the expaned number of service managers no longer have to endure the winter cold, summer heat, and car fumes now that they are enclosed behind glass walls!

Mr. Kendall DahmenGeneral managerZimbrick Honda Mr Dahmen, Recently my daughter Annette Bernas was in the market for a new Honda Civic, She previously leased a 2010 Honda Civic and was looking to upgrade to a 2013 Civic. I shopped around at quite a few dealershipsfrom Madison to Chicago and was given the royal runaround, I happened to call one day for info and was connected to Mike Olsen, He was pleasant ,professional, informative, and just darn nice. My daughter and I made a appointment to see him on 2/9/13. I don't think I ever had a better experience leasing a car than I had on that day. He made the experience most pleasing. He changed my opinion on car salesman and for sure made me and my daughter loyal customers of Zimbrick for any future purchases. Thank you for having him work for you. Anyway my pleasant experience with Zimbrick Honda continues. Unfortunately 4 days after leasing the car I was involved in a minor fender bender. I contacted the body shop and brought in the car for an estimate since someone hit me their insurance was liable.Your associates Lee Stock and Candy Trapp made this horrible experience of a new car accident into a pleasant one. They handled all the red tape with state farm and your body shop made my daughters car look new again, again I want to thank you for having them as your employees. My pleasant journey continues, Also I noticed a scratch mark on the drivers side of the windshield in an arch from top to bottom. I contacted Mike Olsen who put me in touch with Rich Baker from the service dept. I was kind of skeptical on what would happen, But again Mr Baker came through for Zimbrick, He looked at the car while it was at the body shop and contacted me that the windshield would be replaced, I was very happy and wasn't prepared for this all around positive customer service, again thank you for having Mr Baker as your employee. I have been purchasing cars a few times over my 59 years, I cant recall a single time when a dealership as a whole was such a pleasant and positive experience. Thanks again for having these customer friendly employees work for you. Sincerely Dan Bernas

We worked with Chad four years ago when we purchased a new car. Since then we moved away from the Madison-area, but gave him a call when we were looking to trade that vehicle for another new car. We were not having a good experience with our local dealer, so we made the trip back to Madison to work with Chad. It was another wonderful experience - he was very knowledgeable, very thorough, and really cared about giving us good service. We were on a time crunch, and he even took that into consideration and wrapped up our sale quickly and effortlessly. Thank you Zimbrick and thank you Chad for all your help. We are very happy with our second ZImbrick Honda purchase, and we will definitely be seeing you again.

I live in Waukesha County, with a Honda dealership just 5 minutes away. However, I drive the 60 miles to Madison to have my Honda Element serviced by Zimbrick, and with Tom Strahota's team in particular. I found that Tom is transparent and very straightforward about recommended service and costs, and why certain purchases are important or not important at certain times. He never tries to sell me service items unless they are part of Honda's recommended maintenance schedule, and he does not deviate from that schedule just to generate business for his shop. Finally, Tom has a Honda Element himself, so I get the benefit of his own experiences with the vehicle.

had tons of problems with motor useing oil, none at zimbrick cared at all. was even told by a service tech to change my oil every 3,000 miles. ya that will change the fact that the motor used 2 1/2 gallons of oil every 10,000 miles. read that again 2 1/2 gallons of oil. zimbrick said that was normal. do you really think that is normal? ask any mechanic if that is normal. he will laugh at you. not zimbrick they will tell what ever they think you will believe to get them out of trouble. if you are mechanically inclined call and talk to their service manager and see if you think they have a clue.you will be suprised. not what i expected out of a honda dealership.you would be a fool if you listen to anything that zimbrick has to tell you about your vehicle. if you know nothing about vehicles i am sure they can fool you. but if you do you will find out they are a joke. DO NOT BUY YOUR HONDA HERE.

I'll always buy my Honda's here at Zimbrick. Thank you!

I bought a new Honda Accord on 2-28-12.It had swirl marks on it, and they had it in twice and have not fixed it. It looks worse than when I got it. Now Lindsey Raftis is telling me there is nothing more they can do. She even checked with 2 professional detailers, and they told her, there is nothing more to be done, and they would not touch the car. Lindsey told me if I wanted to pay $3500.00, I could get a new car. WOW - this was there screw up, not mine, and they want me to pay for their mistake. BBB has been notified, and I am not done with this yet. They should take care of their problem!

Zimbrick and Ken Barmore and Peter Filandrinos were a fantastic car buying experience. From the moment my husband and I sat down to talk to Ken about buying a car and what he could do for us, he was great. He was very personable and caring. We had quite a mess on our hands and both Ken and Peter jumped through hoops to make things happen for my husband and I. We can't say enough about their customer service it was outstanding in every sense of the word.I would for sure recommend Zimbrick and Ken and Peter to anyone I know.

Went into dealership to look at Honda CR-V. My husband and I walked around looking at a CR-V that was in the sales center area. We were there for 25 minutes and not one person acknowledged us or asked if they could help us. I saw a couple of sales people talking at another door and another walking around. I felt like they thought we were not worth their time. I'll drive to Milwaukee to look at the CR-V.

This review relates to Zimbrick Honda's sales showroom only, not Zimbrick Honda's vehicle service/maintenance divisions. After taking a test drive and emailing back and forth with a Zimbrick Honda sales consultant, I made an appointment to visit Zimbrick Honda on January 5th. I did so with the intent to lease a 2012 Honda Pilot EX-L. While meeting with the Zimbrick Honda sales consultant, I was informed for the first time that Zimbrick Honda did not have a 2012 Pilot EX-L on their lot. Furthermore, I was informed that Zimbrick would not receive the color vehicle I wanted until late February or early March from Honda manufacturing. When I asked the sales consultant if Zimbrick could procure the car faster via a dealer trade, he stated that Zimbrick prefers not to obtain vehicles for customers via a dealer trade (probably because Zimbrick has to pay something to the other dealership, a fee Zimbrick could avoid by securing the vehicle directly from Honda Manufacturing). Nothing wrong with that practice if waiting works for the customer. I, however, needed the vehicle asap. Signing a lease contract on January 5th, but not receiving my vehicle until late February or early March also made no sense given that Honda money factor rates and residual values could be reset prior to the delivery of the vehicle, possibly resulting in a lower lease cost.Strike two occurred when the Zimbrick sales consultant and Sales Manager Peter Filandrinos did not provide me with a lease quote using the lowest available Honda money factor. I understand that customers may qualify for different money factor rates based on their individual credit histories. That said, Zimbrick Honda had not checked my credit history, and had no idea what money factor rate I would qualify for while I was at the dealership. Zimbrick knew I was interested in the lowest available money factor because I had already expressed my displeasure that the January money factor rate had increased significantly above the December 2011 money factor rate (from .00061 in December 11' to Zimbrick's stated .00075 on January 5th, 2012), which had been available six days prior. (Said money factor rates are discretionary, set by Honda based on the supply and demand for vehicles and Honda's sales targets. The money factor rates are not directly indexed to interest rates). When I complained that the monthly lease payment jumped significantly because of the money factor rate increase, Sales Manager Filandrinos dismissively stated that said rate was dictated by Honda, was the lowest money factor rate available via Honda, and could not be altered by Zimbrick. When I requested that Zimbrick adjust the negotiated sales price or some other lease variable to produce the same monthly lease payment that was available only six days earlier, Filandrinos got up and walked away from the table and did not return. At that point, negotiations with Zimbrick were over and I returned to my office. I contacted several Milwaukee area Honda dealers and learned that a 0.00065 money factor rate was currently available from Honda. Furthermore, the 0.00065 money factor rate included Honda making the first months lease payment, 35 customer payments, and zero due at signing (No acquisition fee due, title fee due, licensing fee due, documentation fee due, nothing!). Somewhat miffed that Zimbrick did not share the lower money factor rate with me, I sent notice of the available rate to the Zimbrick sales consultant I had met with, who forwarded my email to Sales Manager Filandrinos. Filandrinos had the nerve to to send me an email attachment from Honda that only addressed the 0.00075 money factor rate (I assume Honda has separate term sheets for the various money factor rates available at any given time and Filandrinos just attached the 0.00075 money factor term sheet). Filandrinos continued to insist that the 0.00075 money factor rate was the only available money factor rate from Honda and accused accused other dealers of trying to pull a fast one. Only after I sent a reply email with additional evidence of the 0.00065 money factor availability did Filandrinos admit that said money factor rate was available. Filandrinos then replied that he assumed I would not be interested in a money factor rate that resulted in 35 vs. 36 lease payments because the monthly payments would increase. Well, I continued to negotiate lease terms with Milwaukee and Janesville area Honda dealers and secured the exact 2012 Honda Pilot EX-L I was seeking on January 18th from David Hobbs Honda. My 35 payment zero down lease via David Hobbs results in a significantly lower lease cost than the best monthly payments quoted by Zimbrick, under their 0.00075 36 payment scenario and/or their 0.00065 35 payment scenario. By going with David Hobbs Honda's 35 payment Sign and Drive lease terms, I will save $1,050 versus leasing the vehicle via Zimbrick's lowest lease cost offer. Apparently, the fact that there are five Honda dealers in the Milwaukee are versus one Honda dealer in all of Dane County, WI necessitates that Milwaukee area dealers provide a much better customer service sales experience than Zimbrick Honda. On the flip side, I have nothing but good things to say about Zimbrick Honda's vehicle maintenance/service division.

I've used Zimbrick for service since I bought my 1999 Honda Accord new in 2000. When I take my car in for service, I always know I'm going to get first rate care and that I'm not going to be sold things or services I don't need. I'm always given several options when problems arise, and am told what needs to be taken care of immediately and what can be put off for awhile - essential for me as a Wisconsin State employee! I always appreciate Tom's honesty and willingness to help me at any time. I've even called him at least twice for advice when I was out of town and some problem with the car arose. He was always there with helpful advice, saving me money and getting me home - even when Zimbrick wasn't ultimately getting the business. This, of course, keeps me coming back to Tom Strahota and Zimbrick Honda. At 183,000 mi and still going strong!!

I purchased my 2005 Odyssey in October 2004 from Zimbrick. It has been serviced there ever since, with the exception of a new Honda battery in Baltimore while we were on vacation. The service has always been excellent. At the last oil change they discovered a loose tie rod and it was replaced under my HondaCare policy. Also, it was raining that day and and they could not wash my car as they usually do so they gave me a token for a car wash at my connivence. Their Customer Service is exceptional.

Most Hondas in Madison are bought out of this dealer. Overall an okay car buying experience, but dealt with an exceptional no pressure salesman. Mike Olson knows his HONDAS.Great guy. He's probably been doing this for years. I've been to around 25-30 dealerships in 10 or more states and he is the best salesman I've come across hands down.Took delivery of an Accord SE yesterday. No issues so far. Hope these guys would be helpful with post sales efforts.

The team at Zimbrick is wonderful to work with. They go way over and above what we expected from an auto dealership. The recent purchase that we made through them WILL NOT be our last. If there is a dealership that others should look to, for advice on customer satisfaction, it is ZIMBRICK HONDA of Madison, WI.

I own a 1998 Honda Acord. I have had it for approximately 10 years, and love my car. I currently have 201,000 plus miles on it and it runs like a chanmp. I go to Zimbrick for my maintainance work, and have always felt "at home" in the waiting area. The staff is great in the service area as well as the customer service desk. They always do a thorough check of my fluids, and other mechanics of my car and I never have to worry about coming back to have them re-do the work that they put in. It is done right the first time.In reference to the hospitality of the waiting area, I usually bring some hand work to do while I am waiting and when they finish my car they always tell me to take my time, the paper work will be at the counter when "I" am ready. Who else would allow you to stay and finish the afghan row you are working on, or finish your visit with someone you have struck a conversation with? There are other honda dealter ships a little closer to work and home that I could go to, but the one I go to on Fish Hatchery is so good to me and my car that I would feel like I was hurting their feelings by going elsewhere.I was invited to the car care clinic this evening, and it was first rate like everything else they do. We had a lasagna dinner with the garlic bread, salad, drink and dessert. The caterers were friendly, and the food was great. The visit to the bay where they work on the cars was great. They showed us the bottom of the car, as it was hoisted, they showed us the motor and how to check all fluids, they showed us the difference in worn parts versus the new parts and how the worn parts affect the performance of the car. Then they took us to the trunk to show us where the spare tire and tools were, and even showed us where to place the jack. They went through a lot of information, but it did not feel overwhelming. They answered many questions from the participants, and they were very thorough indeed. I can not say enough about the Zimbrick Honda dealership on Fish Hatchery. If I was looking for employement, I would want to work there with what I consider a GREAT staff. Speaking of great staff, I had the opportunity to meet the person behind the wonderful e-mails I get from Zimbrick! I visited the dealership for regular maintainance one day and they had the Accord Crosstour on dispaly. I decided to have a look. A very nice sales person came along and showed me all the wonderful features, but NO pressure. I am sure if I had pursued a purchase, he would have been VERY helpful in answering any questions I may have had, and I would have drove away feeling VERY confident in my purchase. I could go on at great lengths about this dealership and the staff that makes it the best!I hope I have made it very clear that Zimbrick rates #1 in my book!!! Thank you for the opportunity to rate this dealer. Donna Parker

I have been a Zimbrick customer for more than 20 years. The Zimbrick service department is top notch! Always very helpful, friendly and thorough. My last service appointment ended up costing less than the estimate because they determined not all the parts needed to be replaced so they only replaced what was needed. Saved me over $100! I really appreciate their ethical approach to customer service.

I am in the process of replacing my 1994 Honda Accord and was having great difficulty deciding on a vehicle that offered enough utility without too much price. I went back and forth between the Fit and CRV to the point that they prepared the CRV for delivery. Rather than pick the car up we test drove both vehicles one more time, this time on the highway at normal cruising speeds. Based on that we found that the Fit was good enough and offered a fair amount of utility for lower cost. Zimbrick prepared the fit for us. I had done alot of online research regarding both cars and had forgotten to check on the location of the gas tank which is information not available online and actually difficult to find. I asked the sales rep where the tank was located. This was during the signing of the paperwork at check writing time. I admit very late in the process, but in a buyer beware world, certainly within my rights as a consumer. The sales rep became quite agitated and assured me the car was safe. He wasn't able to answer the question so he pulled in someone from service who confirmed it is directly below the driver's seat. I wasn't comfortable with that situation and let them know we would pass on the Fit. At that point, rather than engaging to determine if the CRV as a runner up would be our choice they bacame emotional and as was put by the the sales rep, "if you come back don't ask for me. Better yet, don't come back." The sales manager relayed the same sentiment shortly after. Apparently, they don't want our business if it's an inconvenience.

The entire staff is very friendly and attentative to my concerns. If general, it has always been a great overall experience. I went there to buy odyssey 2010. They made the offer after negotiating a price and after 2 days they declined to deliver the car. They said they did not have the car of any color of my choice (Silver or Slat Green). The sales man was not professional at all, did not even show the car properly. Just open the door and asked to look inside. No explanation on features. The finance talked over phone in a very bad voice while talking regarding financing question like employer and other stuff.Still I am wondering why they decline to deliver the car. Though they return guarantee money ($500). Still I have the signed offer letter and the returned check of $500.

I have purchased several vehicles at Zimbrick and have received only the highest quality of service from every staff member. All of my questions are answered promptly, great financing options, always friendly, very attentive to detail. Some car salespeople at other dealerships have patronized me since I am young and female, but it has never been this way at Zimbrick. I have always been treated very respectfully. Service staff are also very friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied (e.g., giving you a ride to work after you drop off your car for an oil change). Highly recommended.

I would never go to any other dealer, because Zimbrick is the best. I needed a car immedediatly as I was having major engine trouble. I talked to Steve Bell, who put me in touch with Chad, who found me a CRV right away, and the financing department had my financing cleared in a couple of days. It was easy for me, fast, and very pleasant, so I will never need to look elswhere!! I have dealt with Zimbrick since 1995, and 3 different vehicles; and had only 1 minor complaint with the body shop after an accident, which was fixed very quickly and easily. The service department has also been great every time I have needed them.

I went in for an alignment, the first thing that irritated me was on the phone when making the appointment he asked me "Why do you think you need an alignment" like I don't know my own car. Then after I get there for my appointment, the tables have been turned, they are now "estimating" my repairs. They offered me a car wash, and couldn't even give me one because of my antennae. Thanks for the tease. I waited patiently for them to "estimate" my repairs. Tom came out after an hour and told me that I need new tie rods, bearings, ball joints and cv boots for a running total of 1,350.00. My car has 207,000 miles on it, thats rediculous. I dont want my car in tip top shape, I just want it to run. They are just waiting for the next person to rip off. I will never go there again.

It took a few scheduled service visits after purchasing my brand new 2002 Honda Insight to get it serviced correctly, but Zimbrick's did the right thing and got their service department up to speed. They also reimbursed me in full (~$75.00) for the third scheduled service. I am now very confident and pleased with the Service Department, which is "the other half" of vehicle purchases. If the Service Department fails, as most do, the dealership is worthless in my opinion. But, Zimbrick Honda has always been excellent in servicing our Prelude and Accord, and now my Insight. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area who is interested in buying a Honda and having it serviced well.

When I went to purchase a Honda CRV, they told me that I had to put a $500 deposit down, wait three months and then pay sticker price. I ended up driving 100 miles to Appleton and paying much less than sticker two weeks later. I went back to Zimbrick last year to test drive an Odyssey and a Pilot. When I drove my CRV to the lot, the salesman asked me where I bought it and asked "Why not?" when he found out I didn't purchase it there. He was clearly irritated about it. While waiting to test drive the vehicles with my wife and small children, he looked at me and asked, "You're not going to buy (your vehicle) here, are you?!" If that were not reason enough to go elsewhere, they were selling both vehicles at sticker price with a down payment and a several month wait. I am continually amazed with what car buyers in Madison tolerate from their dealerships.
