Descripción del vendedor

2010 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS Coupe There was quite a buzz in the automotive world when the fifth generation Camaro took to the streets. In any trim level, they were new and different and cool, retaining just enough retro styling to please Camaro fans while introducing modern conveniences and in the SS versions, a big engine and notable performance. There was no hiatus between generation five and six and as the Camaro progressed, first year generation 5 cars have become potential classics with each passing year. For consignment, a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS coupe with a title verified 14,000 actual miles. A supercharger along with all supporting mods installed at Jannetty Racing Enterprises have been added as we'll learn, and with so few miles, this car has many years and miles ahead of it and a newer set of tires to set you on your way. ExteriorA nod to Hugger Orange, our car wears Inferno Orange and the 2SS Rally white stripes which run over the hood, skip the roof, and return on the trunk lid and wing. The recessed headlights flanking a black grille under a small scoop cutout makes for an aggressive face while the quarter panels give another nod to the 1969 model with subtle side vent indentations. Fog lights and a lower grille recall Trans Am race cars and are an impressive sight in the rearview mirror. The tall body gives way to narrow windows and steeply raked windshield and back window. 20-inch 5-spoke SS wheels grow four inches from the prior generation cars and instantly create a more modern profile, wearing staggered size Michelin tires with a late 2022 date code. The wide rear view is aggressive as well with dual tail lights and dual exhaust that flank an air diffuser. Flaws include just some scrapes under the chin, a few scratches on the wheels, a rock chip or two, and a tennis ball sized ding on the passenger rear quarter panel that does not show up in our photos. InteriorMolded black plastic contrasts with glossy Inferno Orange panels on the door cards, all in excellent condition. Sport bucket seats combine perforated Inferno Orange leather inserts and black sides with orange stitching, while SS is emblazoned on the headrest. Rear 2+2 seats repeat the pattern and have better than average side and seat bolstering considering they are back seats. A fat Alcantara wrapped steering wheel is sculpted to the hands, while a purposeful but simple twin gauge pod is in front and between them, a digital screen read out. The center stack radio and heater/AC controls glow with blue and red coloration while four square gauges are down below, canted up for viewing, and a solid recall to the first gen Camaros. The radio is an AM/FM/CD unit with XM readiness and Bluetooth. In the center console, a beefy Hurst shifter with white knob in a black leather boot with orange stitching resides all in immaculate condition. Low pile charcoal carpet covers the floor, and a molded gray headliner is up above along with the overhead console. The trunk is lined in gray cloth and is perfect. DrivetrainTo begin our tour of the clean engine bay, let's first recognize the 6.2 liter 376ci LS3 V8. We then see the Magnuson Supercharger with the 3.4" pulley but what can't be seen are the 85-pound injectors and upgraded cam. Cold Air Inductions was the choice for the aftermarket air intake system and long tube headers initialize the exhaust system. Our consignor states this was good on the dyno for just under 620rwhp. All that power flows rearward through a Tremec TR6060 6-speed manual and turns the rear tires via a 3.45 geared limited slip axle. Power disc brakes are the only option and are found front and rear. UndercarriageAmazingly clean. No dirt, no grime, no surface rust to speak of, and no extra fluid anywhere. The headers lead right into cats, and from there back, there's a Corsa stainless steel system that includes the mufflers and exhaust tips. Suspension consists of coil springs in front and 4.5 link on the rear independent system. Drive-AbilityWhat a sleeper! That is, until you turn the key and the headers and exhaust let you know this ain't no normal SS. Once underway, subtle supercharger whine and quick acceleration render this car, which was fast in stock configuration, even faster. Meanwhile, as expected for such a low mileage and modern vehicle, all the bells and whistles work, and we rumble back into the garage. No complaints here! If the dyno is right, this car is pulling nearly 200 more horsepower than a stock 2010 SS, and that's a lot of ponies. This is a fun ride you can take to shows or Camaro gatherings, (like Camaro Nationals in Morgantown in July!). Come light a fire with this Inferno Orange muscle car on steroids! 2G1FT1EW3A91612982-Canada G-General Motors 1-ChevroletFT-Camaro 2SS M/T1- 2 Door CoupeE-Active Manual Belts & Front Air BagsW-LS3 6.2L V83-Check DigitA-20109-Oshawa Assy Plant #1161298-Sequential Unit NumberClassic Auto Mall is home to more than 1,000 classic and collectible vehicles for sale via consignment in a climate controlled 336,000-square foot showroom (that's more than 8 acres!).
